poly!marauders x fem!reader ♡ 1.2k words
Sometimes you can feel left out. Of the easy way the boys touch each other, the knowingness they have of the other’s bodies, the in-jokes about intimate aspects of their relationship that aren’t secret from you but you’re not a part of. And you know in your bones, in that thrumming, impossible-to-ignore beat inside your ribcage, that you’re not ready to be a part of them, but it still hurts to have something about your boys that’s separate from you. Some part of them you can’t access, and it’s only because you won’t allow them access to you in return.
And sometimes, like now, things go astonishingly well. Sometimes you can let them touch you while feeling nothing but the pleasant warmth of love and lust brewing like a potion in your core. Sometimes you can let yourself tug Sirius closer as he kisses you, can swallow the soft sounds he makes into your mouth without your mind taking you anywhere other than this bed, this boy.
Sometimes you can get so lost in them it feels like the fear can’t find you.
“Okay?” Sirius’ breathes, setting a tentative hand on the small of your back. He tastes like coca cola, and his lips are a manifestation of every soft and earnest part of him he never shows. “This okay, sweetness?”
You nod fervently, trying very hard not to think as you tunnel your fingers into the featherdown silkiness of the hair behind his ear.
“Yeah?” You’re growing quite sick of all his talking, persistent in your kisses even when Sirius breaks them. His mouth curves against yours, sensing this, and his hand settles more comfortably into the curve of your spine. “Alright, you’re in charge. Just let me know if anything’s too much.”
You make a muffled sound of acknowledgement. Truly, logically, you feel safe with Sirius, the same as you would with Remus or James. It was his idea that you be on top, after Remus figured out that you feel most comfortable when you don’t feel trapped, after James was the one to initiate the conversation on how they can make you feel good while respecting your (admittedly, nebulous and often fickle) boundaries. You haven’t worked up the courage to do anything beyond kissing, and none of them have pushed you. Really, you’ve been the one doing the pushing, wanting more and more from the kissing until it’s turned into this, you and Sirius hiding from dishwashing duty with you on top of him and sucking his face like a dementor.
You grind your hips down into his, and Sirius’ chuckle rumbles through the both of you as he grabs a greedy handful of your ass.
Your breath stills in your lungs.
You still completely, actually, every inch of you rigid, from your bum under Sirius’ hand to your eyes, stuck closed tight. The only part of you that seems to get that you’re still alive is your heart, thrashing wildly inside the bars of your ribcage like it wants to escape when you can’t.
“Shit.” Sirius’ hand flees upward, skimming up your back to safer territory below your shoulder blades. “Shit, sorry, baby. You okay?”
You want to tell him yes, in every physical, objective, important way you’re just fine. But your breath is frozen solid somewhere between your throat and your lungs, and it won’t let you speak.
“Sweetheart.” Sirius is starting to sound desperate, though he’s clearly trying to stay calm for your sake. He sets gentle hands at your waist, sitting you up while he eases out from under you. You expect you’ll move like a statue, but your arms move of their own mind once freed, wrapping tight around your middle. “You’re okay, baby, you’re safe. I’m so sorry, I was—I should have asked. I moved too fast, I didn’t mean to scare you. Can you talk to me, please?”
“Sorry,” you manage. Something comes loose inside you. The air comes back to your lungs, you pull your legs up onto the bed, and laughter unspools from inside you like wire long coiled tight.
Sirius doesn’t smile. “Don’t be sorry,” he says. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have touched you like that. Are you okay?”
It’s now that James and Remus decide to come and see what you’re up to. At the sound of Sirius’ panic-tight voice, their footsteps hasten down the hallway. James taps on the doorframe and you turn to him so fast your neck clicks. His face is melded by a soft worry.
“Everything alright?” he asks.
You nod, but Sirius must signal something different from your other side, because James and Remus advance forward the way one might approach a feral kitten.
“Are you okay?” Sirius asks again, voice cracking now that the other two are here.
“Hey, it’s alright, love,” Remus says gently. “Maybe stop touching her for a bit.” You hadn’t even noticed Sirius’ hand gripping your leg, but its removal feels like you’ve lost a thousand pounds. You fight back a shiver. “She’s okay. Aren’t you, darling?”
To hear worry in even Remus’ voice is significant, and you try to make yours even to counter it. “Yeah,” you agree. “Yeah, sorry, I’m fine.”
“You don’t need to be sorry,” James promises, crouching in front of you and Sirius. You’ve nowhere to hide from his melty-soft gaze. “What happened?”
“I went too far.” Sirius’ voice sounds like it hurts, scraping its way out of him. Your heart throbs in response.
You shake your head, insistent and perhaps a touch too fast. “No, it wasn’t your fault. I was—I—I escalated things, and then it just—”
“Take a deep breath,” Remus instructs.
“I’m fine,” you say again.
“Please, sweetheart. Just try.”
You do, for his sake, pushing air in and out of your lungs like you’re trying to inflate a balloon. They won’t get as full as you want them too, but it’s not until you try that your body seems to catch up to what’s been happening. You start trembling all over.
“Shit.” Your voice thickens, tears threatening. “Sorry, this is so uncalled for.”
“It’s not,” James says. “Can I—can I hold your hand, or are you not ready for that yet?”
“Please,” you squeak out.
He grasps your hand, and you squeeze tightly, breathing until the tears don’t press at your eyes so insistently. You hate that the ugly thing of your past is touching something this good. That it’s hurting people who aren’t you, like it’s a virus you caught and now you’re spreading it.
“It’s really not your fault,” you tell Sirius, turning to him. “I thought I could handle it.”
“I shouldn’t have moved without checking,” he replies in a similar tone. “I’m so sorry, sweetness, I never want to scare you like that.”
You shake your head. “You don’t.”
A dense silence lapses, not uncomfortable but full of things unsaid. James’ hand is warm in yours.
“Hug?” you ask Sirius.
He looks surprised. “Are you sure?”
You nod, extricating your hand from James’ to wrap your arms around his middle. Sirius is tentative at first, palms placed lightly on the high and low points of your back, but when you hold him tighter he reciprocates. You hear Remus whisper something to James. Sirius’ fingers press into your back, the tip of his nose cold where it squishes into your neck.
Sometimes, they make you feel completely safe.

room mate! marauders who are obsessed with their shy roomate
oh trust me, hunny, i am hearing you. hope this is okay! shy gn!reader x poly!marauders
cw: nothing really, just fluff, reader is very flustered
1.1k words
Your eyes were blurry as you shuffled into the sunny kitchen. You weren’t used to waking up to the curtains open and breakfast on the stove. You’d lived with people before of course, but none as lively as this bunch. You weren’t complaining, though, you were quickly warming to them, even though you had probably spoken a total of 50 words to your new housemates in the three weeks you had lived with them. Most of these words likely consisting of sorry, excuse me, thank you.
They had been talking though. Ever since the day you met they had been treating you like their best friend. Not even that. They were all best friends. (Though you considered that wasn’t all, on more than one occasion you had caught Sirius with his head in James’ lap, or Remus’ legs swung over one of the other boys. You had also observed a fair number of kisses between the three boys). But rather, they treated you like something precious, like a porcelain doll they were begging to get a hold of.
That thought made you immediately think of the nickname Sirius (or ‘Pads’ as the boys occasionally called him) had stuck you with.
“Hey, dollface! You sleep well?” The coal-haired boy looked like he was itching to beckon you under his arm, but resisted. You were thankful, not knowing if you could survive that.
“It was good.” You hummed, barely legible to James over the sound of his bacon sizzling. You padded over to the breakfast table, sitting one chair away from Sirius and his huge bowl of cereal. No sooner had you sat down when a steaming cup of coffee was placed in front of you by a spindly hand.
“Here you go, dovey.” Remus sat in the chair between you and Sirius.
“Oi, Moons. You’re blocking my view.” You turned in your chair to look behind you at the ‘view’ he was referring to, brows scrunching in confusion when all you saw was the archway. You heard a light chuckle from Remus and a snicker from Sirius as you whipped back around. The possible meaning dawned on you, making you his your heated face in your mug.
“Don’t torture the poor thing.” James scolded, giving a (what you were sure he believed was comforting) squeeze to your shoulder before he sat on your other side.
“I never tortured anyone.” Remus corrected from behind his morning paper, slowly eating a cup of berry-yogurt. “Collective punishment is a war crime, Prongs”
“Leavin’ me to the wolves huh, Moons?” Sirius sassed, sipping on his coffee that was mostly just cream and sugar.
“Oh trust me, I’m sure we all know how much you’d love to be left to the wolf.” James smirked, clearly in on a joke that you had no idea about. He abandoned his teasing to turn to you, fixing a horribly kind look that made your tummy turn to mush. “There is some bacon and eggs on the stove for breakfast, but I’m sure Sirius would let you into his cereal.”
“There’s also yogurt.” Remus looked pointedly to his near-empty cup.
“Oh no, I’m okay. I could never take your food. I’m not hungry anyway.” You muttered into your mug.
“You’ve gotta eat somethin’ babydoll. Can’t have you skipping meals.” Sirius had a playful, if not protective tilt to his tone.
“I’ll find somethin’ don’t worry.” You scrubbed your bleary eyes with irritated cadence, still on the brink of sleep despite the warm caffeine swirling in your system. Thick fingers wrapped around your wrist to pull your offending hand away.
“Gentle, sweetheart.” James scolded lightly. “Gonna hurt yourself like that.” He squeezed your hand before letting it go but it felt oddly like your face and your lungs were being squeezed as well. If this was the boys normal, you weren’t sure if you were going to survive.
You mumbled a sorry looking at the mahogany table like it held the meaning of life, or the extra hour of sleep you desperately craved.
“What’ve we told you? You say sorry too much, sweet thing. It’s like, your favorite word or something.” Sirius laughed, slurping down his cereal milk and licking his chops. You bit back another apology and rubbed your eyes again, though much more gentle this time. James cooed in sympathy.
“You still sleepy?” He rubbed your back again, which made you both more heated and more drowsy.
“Yeah.” You hummed, shamefaced as you played with the hem of your oversized t-shirt. You were thankful that you were still too shy to not wear long pants around them, because they would definitely be able to tell how tensed your legs were. Remus set his paper down.
“Do you have work today, love?”
“No, ‘s my day off.” James grinned at that, but Sirius spoke up.
“Happy coincidence! It’s ours too.” He grinned. “How about we all watch something? We can put something on in the lounge room and you can catch a bit of sleep on the settee?” He suggested. You shrunk at the thought of sleeping in front of them, but weren’t opposed to the idea.
“We’ll make sure to wake you up so you don’t sleep the day away.” James added, still rubbing your back. You were easily convinced.
“Okay, that does sound nice.” Barely above a whisper.
“We can all have a big lunch when you get up, too. Maybe we could go out?” Remus suggested as he led you gently to the living room. You tried to make your way to the armchair, but you were tugged to the couch.
“That won’t be comfy, dollface. Here you go.” Sirius sat on the settee close to one arm, Remus by the other. Sirius pulled you between them while James sat on the floor and you whined in protest.
“No, I’ll move. You sit here, James.”
Remus swore that was the loudest he had ever heard you speak.
“No, I’m good right here. Thanks though, sweetness.” James reassured. He was sat in the middle, though rather close to Remus so the mousy boy could reach out with one hand and scratch James’ scalp, roving his long fingers through the thick curls. You were so distracted that you were startled when Sirius tugged on you again, maneuvering your head onto a pillow that laid on his lap. You tensed before relaxing into his warmth. You tucked your legs into yourself as Remus covered you with a blanket before going back to loving on James.
“There you go, baby. That feel nice?” Sirius said, unfamiliarly soft as he stroked your hair, hand a welcome warmth on your scalp.
Baby. Baby. Baby.
It would surprise you if you woke up from this nap. Your heart had nearly stopped on the spot.

hii, how about a poly marauders with reader thinking it was better when they were friends, after all they were the marauders : moony, pads, prongs, wormtail, no y/n
Tumblr media
౨ৎ reckless mistake (poly!marauders x reader)
summary: being in a relationship with the marauders wasn’t easy, and you loved them dearly. but its hard not to other think that they’re better off without you, was this a mistake?
pairings: poly!marauders x reader, sirius x reader, james x reader, remus x reader, peter x reader
i hope you enjoy, if there are any more scenarios/imagine ideas, submit them here!
It was silly really. Even though your boyfriends were perfectly happy you felt like you were straining on their happiness. You loved them dearly, but you couldn’t help but feel like you weren’t worthy of theres. They didn’t need you, they had each other, it was obviously a mistake, them bringing you into their relationship. After all, it was them four before you.
Plus, they seemed to have been distant recently anyway. Maybe they had noticed the mistake too? They all shared a dorm together, were all in the same house and you were just a quiet Hufflepuff who shared a room with girls you weren’t even close with.
Had they noticed that too? You were always dependent on them, yet they never seemed so dependent on you. They had each other, and you had them but you weren’t even sure they wanted you anymore.
The Marauders. Padfoot, Moony, Prongs and Wormtail. No y/n.
So why did they continue to lead you on like this? The more they dragged you along, the more it hurt and you just couldn’t bring yourself to end it yourself only causing more pain.
Even as the five of you were hanging out in their dorm, you still felt like the odd one out like you were just an extra.
Remus was lying on his bed, with Sirius on his lap as he tried to focus on studying but had given up at the sight of his boyfriend. James and Peter were bundled up on the floor by the sweet stash, picking out which ones their boyfriends would enjoy more.
And you? You were in the bathroom staring at your helpless self in the mirror with both hands resting on the sink.
When would this stop, were you even ready for it to happen. Would you rather stay in this endless cycle of being unwanted? Maybe, if it mean’t not losing the boys you cared about. But did they even feel the same about losing you?
Someone knocked on the door, snapping you out of your pitiful trance. Even the knock pattern sounded joyful, knowing it belonged to one of your happy-as-ever boyfriends it only made your heart pang more with guilt.
“Darling, you okay in there?” The familiar voice of Sirius, echoed into the small room as you helplessly wiped the tears from your tired face. To you, he sounded bored but in reality he sounded scarily worried for you.
Of course the boys had noticed your change in behaviour, they had for the past four weeks but just felt too awkward to ask.
“Yeah, sorry Sirius.” You plainly answered, tidying up your messy hair as you reached for the door handle. As the door opened all the attention moved to you, you and your alarmed look. You didn’t want the attention, you didn’t want them to know how hardly you were taking it all.
“Hey, Hey whats wrong, Dove?” Remus’ eyebrows furrowed as he walked towards you, he even sounded worried but you took it as unwanted pity.
Even as he tried to bring you into one of his warm loving embraces that you had always loved, you pulled away, shoulders slumping at the awkwardness of it all.
“Stop pitying me,” You frowned, “Just do it already, it hurts too much.” Your voice cracked, shaking your head at the boys you love.
James and Peter, instantly picked themselves off the ground as they made their way over to the statement you so easily assumed.
“Do what, honey?” James now frowned and that made another tear fall from your eye, seeing him with an unfitting frown on his face only made yours deepen.
“I understand, okay?” You manage to say through your sobs, a worried Peter’s hand now on your shoulder. “Please, just get it over with.” Remus shook his head in deep worry, “Please.” You now sobbed.
“Sweetheart, please breathe, it’s all okay.” James begged as your body helplessly fell to the floor as his body approached yours. Sobs racked through your body, and James squeezed you closer to him.
“What exactly do you think we’re going to do?” Sirius pressed further, as he also crouched to your level on the floor.
“I know you’re going to break up with me.” You hiccuped, pulling away from a broken James. All four of them made noises of disagreement and disbelief. How could you think you would break up with them, you were there everything.
“Our beautiful girl, we would never dream of it.” Remus softened, lifting your body into his loving arms. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
“Why would you think that?” Peter softly spoke, caressing your back in comfort. James and Sirius stood either side of you, as they instinctively wanted to know why you were so upset.
“Everything feels distant, and there was the four of you before it was me and you four. I just couldn’t help but feel like that you were better off without me.” You mumbled, feeling slightly embarrassed.
“Oh Dove.” Remus internally cried at the look on your pained face, he hadn’t realised just how horrible you had been feeling. And it was because of him? He felt like dying right then and then and he knew the others felt the exact same.
“I’m so sorry you felt like that, i didn’t even realise.” Sirius frowned, pulling you desperately into a hug. The guilt seeped from all four of them, you could feel it in their grasp. He pulled you into a passionate kiss as you melted in his hands like putty whilst he held your face as if he could never let go.
“I feel horrible. The four of us love you so much, not even words can amount.” James breathed as you and sirius unwantedly pulled away, and he pulled you into him to comfort you and himself.
“No, No please don’t feel bad,” Your heart ached, “It was silly, i should have just spoken to you four.”
“Love, i know how we are, we aren’t are as easy to talk to when we’re all together.” Peter smiled, knowing how it may have been a little bit intimidating.
“But, Dove, Next time please talk to us instead of drowning in sadness,” Remus interrupted, “We would never make you feel bad for having feelings.” He finished, pressing a soothing kiss to the crown of your head.
“I love you four, so much.” You laughed through the threatening tears, pressing a kiss on the side of each of their faces.
“We love you too, Sweetheart,” Sirius sweetly smiled, “Come on, let’s go to dinner.” He whispered into your neck, pressing a small kiss there too.

Tumblr media
When James, Sirius, and Remus first found out their girlfriend was a borderline stoner, they seemed fine with it for the most part. James was indifferent, believing she wasn’t consuming a dangerous amount. Sirius was impressed and baffled, he spent weeks trying to figure out how she snuck the drug into Hogwarts, which had a strict policy against the use of substances. Every once in a while Sirius even joined Y/n in a smoking session. Remus, however, seemed to be the only one who was slightly worried, he knew all about unhealthy coping mechanisms and how addictive they are, but he chose to trust his girlfriend and left it alone, something he felt very guilty about later on.
Everything changed after the summer before sixth year. The four had kept in frequent touch, mourning over the fact that they couldn’t find a time to get together. Mid August Y/n had stopped responding to letters sent by her boyfriends, which worried them immensely. And when she arrived at platform 9 ¾, looking sickly pale and high out of her mind, they knew something was wrong.
Stubborn as usual, Y/n proclaimed she was fine. Having lied and said that this was her first time doing any illegal substances, which includes alcohol and other drugs, in weeks, and she was just enjoying it. Each of the boys had a pit in their stomach, their girlfriends usually cheerful aura completely gone, seeming to have faded over the summer.
Sirius was the first to notice the problem with your smoking. He took into account the changes in your stash when he would join you every once in a while, the amount you had from one session into another completely decimating your lie about only smoking once or twice a week.
Remus was the one who noticed your drinking problem. He had invited you on a study date with just him, James and Sirius being busy with quidditch practice, and you had showed up late. He didn’t mind, knowing you weren’t the most punctual person, but what he did mind was the strong scent of alcohol you had attempted to cover up with a spell. It hadn’t worked.
Now, poor oblivious James was the one to uncover the self harm scars on his beautiful girlfriend's body. It had been a rare time where you had decided to hang out with the boy, as you had been pulling away from the three at an alarming rate. So, James decided to make the most of it, not knowing the next time this would happen. His way of making the most of it was laying down in bed, bodies pressed up against each other and your chest steadily rose and fell. He had fallen into a light sleep before he was woken up as you adjusted your position, throwing your arm out to the side. He looked at you with a tired smile, grateful for this moment as his gaze traveled up your arm. His smile fell as his heart dropped. When you had stretched your arm out the sleeves of your jumper had ridden up your wrist, revealing the angry red cuts protruding from your skin. James felt tears prick his eyes, not knowing what to do.
Today was a particularly rough day for Y/n. She had received a letter from her parents, informing her that they wish she was never their daughter, and that she would find some creative way to die to rid them of their burden of a disgraceful daughter. It was no exaggeration to say she was out of it. Anyone with any common sense could tell as she stumbled through the Great Hall, smelling greatly of whiskey and weed, and anyone with a good nose (Remus, due to his furry problem, and Sirius, due to his furry gift) could sense the metallic smell of blood coating her skin.
“Oh, for Merlin’s sake.” Remus mumbled, standing up from his spot at the table, James and Sirius looking up quizzically. “I’m over this. We need to talk to her. Now.” He said and the boys nodded, standing up with him and walking to the girl. Sirius gently touched her shoulder, leading her out as she made a face of disgust at his closeness, causing his heart to twang.
She had been so mean lately, and it was slowly shattering the boys’ heart, however, it was affecting Sirius the most. He missed his girl. The one who always cheered him up and provided him bucket loads of support when he was thrown to the curb and disowned.
They carefully led the girl into the boys’ empty dorm, and the three were thankful Peter decided to eat breakfast this morning instead of sleeping in. Y/n sat on the bed, reaching into her cloak and pulling out a shiny silver flask.
Remus scoffed and grabbed the flask from her hands, “Fucking no, Y/n.”
Anger flashed across the girls face, “The fuck is your problem?” She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
He waved the flask in front of her face angrily, “This shit is! And the weed! And, baby,” His voice softened. “We know you’ve been cutting. Why won’t you let us in?”
She scoffed and stood up, snatching the flask from the boys hand, “Because it’s my fucking mind and you guys have no right to pretend you deserve to know what’s going on in it.” It was Sirius’ turn to scoff and Y/n looked over with raised eyebrows. “What, got a problem, Black?” She asked again.
“Yeah, I’ve got a fucking problem. You’re being a bitch.” He said angrily.
“Excuse you? I’m being a bitch?” She took a step closer. “Says fucking you, Sirius. The only bitch here is you. With your endless manipulation and fucking lies!”
“Okay, you need to calm down.” Remus said before Sirius could speak.
The only sound that could be heard was Y/n’s loud laughter. It lasted a moment before abruptly stopping as she threw the flask down and neared Remus.
She placed her hands on his chest, smoothing down a wrinkle, “You guys are the ones freaking out when I’m.” She pushed him back, his eyes widened. “Fucking.” Push. “Fine.” His back hit the wall and James, who had been silent the entire time finally stepped in between the two, anger covering his features.
“Back off. We have done nothing but love you! We don’t deserve this shit, Y/n. You don’t have to tell us everything but a simple fucking explanation is due! Even if you won’t give us that you have no right, no right, to lay your hands on us, and I will not put up with this bullshit.” He said and it was silent. The boys held their breaths, hoping James’ speech got through to the Y/n as her and James had a staring contest.
Y/n smirked, “Look at you. The little bitch finally comes out of his shell, and spews utter bullshit.” She said flatly, moving to grab her flask and her bag which she had previously set on the bed. She walked to the door and paused, “We’re over, by the way. I’m leaving your sorry asses.” And she walked out.
The moment the door shut James' body shook with silent sobs and Remus wrapped his arms around the boy, resting his head in between his shoulder blades. Sirius joined the hug, squeezing tightly as a few stray tears of his own left his eyes.
The three stood there, hugging each other tightly as they cried in each other's arms. They had no choice now but to watch the girl they loved most slowly kill herself, for a reason unknown to them.
Unbeknownst to them, the girl slid down the backside of the door, hand covering her mouth to silence her sobs. She knew it was getting bad and she knew those boys cared about her and wanted to help and she fucking pushed them away, afraid they would turn out to be like her parents. Cruel and abusive. She regretted leaving the moment the door slammed shut, her mind immediately sobering up as she realized what she had done. She just lost the three most important people in her life, people who loved her, if they still could after her cruel words.  In that moment she realized the most terrifying thing. The thing that haunted her nightmares and fueled her addictions. In all her attempts to cut her parents from her life and forget about them. She had become them.

strangers marauders x reader
idk I've been writing angst all the time lately, I need some cheering up but somehow all I can write is cheesy, whiny angst. 400 words
Before we were best friends and now
“I'm sorry,” you say every time when you bumped into some students while running with James by the hand, when your laughter could be heard throughout the corridor, your stomach hurt from laughing and you were slowly starting to run out of breath from running.
" If I catch you, you'll regret it " Sirius was running right behind you and James, and there were pink highlights in his black hair that you gave him during the night " you two won't survive this " you noticed Remus and pulled James towards him and hid behind his back.
"You can't hide from me, you little gremlins, my poor hair, I look like some kind of fairy" Remus seemed to be as amused by this whole situation as you and James were, he looked at you with compassion and pity when you were writhing on the floor laughing. “I'll kill you.” Sirius was getting closer to your hiding place.
“I won't help you, I was just about to go to the library, after all, I told you yesterday that it wasn't a good idea, I'm sorry, dear, but you have to deal with it yourself” you knew that Remus wasn't sorry at all, and I would love to watch your fight with Sirius.
We are back to begin strangers.
It wasn't like it was your fault also it wasn't even their fault, it was just that suddenly, you were forgotten, they met merline who was funnier than you, lily who was smarter than you and mary who was prettier than you.
somehow you got replaced, they stopped talking to you in class, inviting you for butterbeers, talking about their new jokes and sharing jokes. it happened slowly, almost imperceptibly, you yourself didn't notice the moment when everyone was laughing at some joke and you didn't understand and no one was interested in it and didn't try to explain it to you, suddenly Sirius didn't have time to go shopping with you because he had arranged for a beer with mary, james was planning to train with merlane and remus already had an appointment with lily in the library.
you couldn't be mad at them or the girls, you understood the boys, they were just better, prettier, funnier, smarter. Sometimes it's like that in life, friendship is not eternal and you have to come to terms with it.

Vibrations: Chapter 1
Warnings: explicit content, mentions of sexual interactions, possibly even a lil added too. 13+
You were stimulating.Alot.The things is you were coming from the library yesterday (quite late, surprisingly alone, since you were usually accompanied by atleast one of your boyfriends) and that is when you were hit by a spell, you werent sure what since you hadn't felt anything at least till then.
When you woke up today you felt it.Vibration.Your underwear quite wet. You thought it was just you or some sorta dream, it was pretty normal but you were yet to find out how bad it was gonna get.
As soon as you stood up, you felt like you were about to collapse. How many orgasams had you done?
Thats when you saw a note on the table.
"Hey, little lady, feeling wet, eh?? You were hit by a spell yesterday right?? I will give you details, but meet me at the river before breakfast, also none of your boyfriends shall know..ur vibrations are at 3 rn, but remember 7 is always an option."
You gulped. Who could this be? You didn't really have any enemies at hogwarts. You considered telling the boys but then again someone who could set this kinda of a high level spell on you and sneakers in a letter in your dorm, must be pretty smart. You would have to deal with this on your own.
You sat on the bed for a little more while, slowly dragged yourself to the bathroom and got changed.
As you head for the lake, praying you wouldn't find any of the boys, you heard a very familiar voice.
Y/n, love where are you going? The halls that way, sweets! The raven haired boy exhilarated.
Oh um, remus, morning, actually I umm had some stuff to get, I will catch up with you guys later. You replied
But-
U quickly cut him off, by kissing him and ran away.
You reached the lake a few minuted later.
<at the lake>
Hello? Anybody here? You called out.Thats when you heard a whistle, it came from the area behind you, when you looked back you gasped. You were beyond shocked. It shouldn't have been very surprising. The person standing in front of you was your boyfriends worst enemy, he was the guy who even Remus loved pranking.
You saw Woakes lestrange, brother of Bellatrix lestrange.
I am sorry this is too short, but hopefully if I get a positive response I will add longer chapters.

Poly marauders request where the reader asks if they’d still love her even if she was a moth or something, I just think the boys would have such fun reactions
"But- But darling," Sirius starts, his tone placating as he stares fearfully at the tears in your eyes, "You'd be a moth."
"And that would be all it took for you not to love me anymore?!" You blubbered, sniffling pitifully.
"Well we couldn't kiss you very well if you were a moth." James reasoned, "We'd crush you!"
"Oh, so you only love me 'cause you can kiss me?" You finally let a tear slide down your cheek, "That's mean."
"No, dove." Remus coos, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and tugging you into a side-hug, "We'd adore you if you were a moth, we'd keep a pretty little light on all day so you'd stay with us always."

masterlist
i know the reader just woke up then they fall asleep so please ignore my poor mistake lolll
Bickering is the first thing you hear when you wake.
Your eyes haven't fully opened, and your brain is still clouded with morning fog, but you can make-out the sounds of arguing.
"It's my turn, Moony." You hear Sirius's stern voice hiss, quiet like he's trying not to be a disturbance but firm enough to get his point across.
"No s' not!" Remus huffs back, sounding annoyed. "You got to yesterday."
"No! Prongs did." The former growls.
"Will ya' both jus' shut up?" James groans, fed-up with the two's childish and pointless arguing. "You're gonna wake them up with all this before either of ya' get the chance to do it properly!"
"What's going on?" You grumble sleepily.
"See!" James hisses.
Your eyes open and the first thing you see is Remus and Sirius on their bed, disappointed looks crossing their faces after they see you're awake. James is sat at one of the three desk's in the dorm, twiddling a quill with his fingers.
"What is it?" You repeat, knuckling at your closed eye as you shift into a seated position.
Sirius sighs, falling back against his bed with his hands over his face, no doubt pouting underneath his palms.
"Siri wanted to be the one to wake you up but it was my turn. He's always trying to-
"Well." You cut him off before he can go to insult Sirius. "M'awake now so it doesn't matter."
"And who's fault is that?" Sirius jeers beneath his hands.
"Oi shut up!"
"Alright." You stand. "I'm going for a shower."
"I'm coming!" Sirius squeaks, nearly flying off the bed in his haste to get to the bathroom before either boy could.
Remus whines, accepting his defeat as he slumps against the mattress. You smile, rewarding him a kiss as you pass his bed.
"Now, Sirius-"
Your attempt to tell him off was halted when you walk into the bathroom, finding your stark-naked lover stood by the sink, two towels folded neatly with lotion, toothpaste, and a washcloth readied on the countertop.
"Yes?" He grins, hands placed on his hips to amuse you.
"Get in the shower." You snort.
After the two of you had showered and dressed, you were left with a boring, lazy day ahead of you. Not that anyone minded, rainy days were the groups favorites.
"Can we watch one of those muggle films?" James asks, pulling a Quidditch jumper over his head.
"Sure." You hum, snuggled between two warm bodies on Remus's bed. His was the coziest, made akin to a den with how many blankets and pillows he'd acquired.
"Right." James smiles. "I'll go find some snacks and you guys pick something."
After he leaves, the three of you are left in a comfortable silence, minus the pitter-patter of raindrops hitting the window.
"Move your arm?" Sirius requests.
Remus, who's arm had been wedged uncomfortably under Sirius's and your back, shifts so that it's fit in a more accommodating spot.
"There?" He asks.
Sirius hums contently, moving his head so it rests atop yours, letting Remus wiggle his fingers along his scalp, his other hand tracing at your side under your shirt.
"Someone tickle my arm." You request, pulling said arm from under the blanket to offer to your boys.
"Needy little thing." Remus jests as Sirius pinches your hip.
Sirius is the one to do it, not wanting his hair to stop being pet. He uses the tips of his fingers to ghost over your arm, goosebumps following his trail as his nails scratch lightly at your skin.
Your thanks is muttered sleepily into the somewhat silent room, heard by both boys and acknowledged by Sirius with a hum, continuing to scratch gently at your forearm.
By the time James arrives back with a mix of savory and sweet treats, the three of you are fast asleep, Remus's hand entwined in Sirius (now tangled) locks with you sandwiched between them, body barely visible as the two squish into your back and chest.
All he can do is smile, place the forgotten snacks on the desk, kick his shoes off, and crawl into bed with the three of you.
The ruined movie night had been a week ago.
The four of you had decided on a redo, a film already queued-up and ready to play, snacks situated on the nightstand, blankets tucked around you.
The set-up went like this:
James was on the far left, back against the headboard, bucket of popcorn in his lap. Remus was to the right of him, arm slung around your shoulder, slightly lower on the bed. You were between Remus and Sirius, pillow against your chest as you chewed on a candy. Sirius was slung over you like a koala, whole body nearly draped over yours.
The movie was a horror, and despite Remus's normally strong and stoic attitude, he was jumping and flinching at every jump-scare.
"Would ya' quit jumping, you big baby? You're rocking the whole bed!" Sirius sneers from beside you.
"Shut up!" Remus squeaks. "James picked a scary one."
"No, you're just a wimp."
"Quit it." You cut in, glaring harshly up at your lover. "He can't help it if he's scared. And might I remind you that just last week you screamed like a little girl when you saw a spider?"
Sirius flushes crimson red, quickly shutting his mouth and returning his focus back to the film.
James watches the exchange with a smile, proud of your shutting-Sirius-up tactics and slightly amused with his two boyfriends bickering.
"Can I have one of those strawberry ropes?" Remus asks, nudging your side to grab your attention.
You nod, snatching the pack of Twizzlers off Sirius's lap to hand to Remus.
"Those are mine." A petulant Sirius Black calls from your left.
"I jus' want one." Remus murmurs, looking over to the long-haired boy with a soft look.
"Kay." He whispers, melted by Remus's gentle tone and doe eyes. He'd never admit it aloud, but he swore Remus could ask him to commit murder in that voice, and he'd do it without hesitation.
"Whipped." You say through a faked cough into your fist.
"Shut up, they're being sweet." James chuckles as Remus pinches you.
The rest of the movie passes by with small conversation and more squealing from Remus, finishing forty-minutes later with a shitty ending that has you all moderately irritated and not the least bit satisfied.
"No one knows how to make a movie these days." Sirius grumbles unhappily, a handful of Twizzlers stuffed into his mouth.
"Agreed." You grunt, twisting onto your side to get comfortable.
"Bet I could make a better film than that." James pipes-up, throwing the blanket off of himself to trudge to the bathroom.
"We could." Sirius chirps. "What'd it be about?"
"Probably a thriller." James calls, voice muffled with toothpaste. "A couple with a murderous baby."
The boys all snort, and you can feel yourself drifting.
"We could have it set in the future, think that would be cool." Remus adds his two-cents.
"Oooh a futuristic killer baby!" Is the last thing you hear before falling into a dreamless sleep.

𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 [𝟏.𝟐]
my requests are now officially open!! but always, a few guidelines:
please make your request specific. ex: not a "sirius black with a shy reader" but more like a "a scene where sirius and reader are out on a date in ___ and sirius is doing ____". this just gives me more motivation to write something and make it more personalized for the asker.
please no smut requests!
for now, i'm fine with writing anything but we'll see in the future if anything comes up!
for now, i only write for certain characters in the marauders era. these are only remus lupin, sirius black, and james potter. i also do poly! for these characters!
i'm always allowed to deny any requests that i personally don't want to write.

cw: minor head injury, the teeniest tiniest hint of a praise kink
emt!marauders x fem!reader ♡ 1.5k words
You’re sitting on the curb holding a bag of ice to your head when the ambulance cuts its sirens, coming to a stop. The door opens and boots hit the pavement in front of you.
“Dollface?”
You blink up into the sun. “Sirius?”
He crouches by your knees, worry making itself at home in the crease between his brows. “Hey, baby, what’s going on?”
“I didn’t think it’d be you,” you say dumbly.
“Are you hurt?” James comes bounding around the other side of the ambulance, Remus not far behind him. You can’t say you’re not happy to see them, but you sort of wish your reunion could have waited until your date tomorrow night, when you would almost surely not have been in your work uniform and covered in pasta sauce. “Are we here for you?”
“Technically,” you reply, somewhat bitterly. James squats beside Sirius, mouth pulling to one side. “I fainted a little bit, and my boss said he had to call an ambulance. Just so I can’t sue the restaurant, I guess. I’m totally fine.”
“They called us and then made you sit on the curb?” Sirius asks angrily while James says, “How does one faint only a little bit?”
“They didn’t want you guys scaring the customers.” You choose to answer only Sirius’ question, shrugging. His eyes flare, and he looks towards the restaurant like he’s thinking about going inside to have some words with your manager, but Remus passes a conciliatory hand over his shoulder as he sits beside you on the curb.
“What’s this for, love?” he asks you, covering your hand where it holds the bag of ice.
You must look as sheepish as you feel, because his eyes narrow slightly. “I guess I hit my head a bit when I fell.”
“So,” he says dryly, “not totally fine, then.”
“I mean, I don’t think I hit it very hard,” you try, but Remus is already removing your makeshift ice pack, tilting your head so he can see the forming bump on the side.
“Why don’t you tell us everything that happened,” James suggests, giving your knee a teasing squeeze as Sirius moves beside Remus to jockey for a view of your head, “just so we have all the facts.”
“I was carrying a tray to my table,” you explain, wincing as Remus passes a thumb over your wound with a murmured apology, “and I started to feel weird, like wobbly and out of it. I thought it might pass, but—” Sirius sends you a horrified look and your voice quiets, chastened. “I know I probably should have sat down or something, but I was working, you know? Anyway, then I guess I fell and smacked my head on the floor. When I woke up, the food was everywhere,” you recall with a sigh. Your coworkers are going to be less than pleased with you for leaving them that mess to clean up.
“Is that what this is?” James asks, mouth tilting upward as he looks at the mess of your uniform.
You nod solemnly. “Alfredo sauce.”
“Did you land on any glass or anything?” Sirius asks you. He and Remus have evidently finished with their inspection of your head, though Remus’ hand still cups the back of your neck protectively.
“No, all the plates that ended up breaking went the other way.”
“You thinking concussion?” James asks him.
“No,” you say, at the same time as Sirius says, “Maybe.”
Sirius fixes you with an odd look, half remonstrance and half endearment. “Sorry, doll, but you’re not exactly an expert. You very stubbornly did your job when you should have looked after yourself” —he squints his eyes at you playfully, giving your shoulder a mean squeeze— “now let us do ours for a bit, yeah?”
You purse your lips in malcontent, but James is already clicking on his pen light, shining it in your eyes. “Look straight ahead for me, angel?”
“S’not a big deal,” you mutter one last time in quiet mutiny, doing as he says. All three boys ignore you.
James clicks the light off. “Alright, do you know the date?”
“No.”
“How about the year?” he asks patiently. You tell him, and he goes on to ask you the month and the day of the week.
“Good.” He rewards you with a smile when you answer correctly. “Okay, do you feel nauseous or dizzy at all, darling?”
When he looks at you like that? A little, but that’s probably unrelated. “No,” you tell him.
“Headache?” Remus asks you.
“I mean, only here.” You lay your palm over the bump to indicate it, but wince when it hurts worse than you expected. Sirius coos, taking your hand in his to prevent you doing yourself further harm. “Not on, like, the inside.”
“Okay, that’s what I meant,” Remus reassures you. “What about why you fainted, love? Do you have any idea what happened?”
You bite the inside of your lip, thinking. “Not really.” Your head had just hurt a bit, then you’d felt woozy, and then you’d fallen and it had hurt a lot worse.
“Did you have lunch before you came to work?” James prompts.
You nod.
“What did you have?”
You tell him. He seems tentatively satisfied.
“And for breakfast? What about for dinner last night?”
You think back, telling him what you can remember, and he nods, looking somewhat bemused.
“Did you have a drink with any of that?” Remus asks.
You think harder. Had you? The realization must show on your face, because Sirius tuts.
“There it is,” he says knowingly. “When was the last time you had water, doll?”
“I…I don’t remember. I had coffee yesterday—”
They all groan. James starts laughing soon after, patting you on the thigh at your timid expression.
“It’s okay, sweetheart, just drink plenty of water and then go home to rest, alright? You might feel shaky for a bit, so don’t get in your car to drive until you’re feeling better. Rem, do we have some water bottles in the van?”
“Yeah.” Remus stands, palm landing affectionately on your head as he passes behind you to climb into the back of the ambulance.
“Don’t worry,” you tell James, exhaustion seeping into your voice, “I won’t be driving for a while yet. My shift doesn’t end until six.”
Contrary to your intentions, some of the relief saps from James’ countenance. “You’re still planning on working?”
Uh, duh. Does he think your rent is going to pay itself? “I mean,” you say, trying to appear somewhat patient, “yeah.”
“Well, go ahead and get that out of your head right now,” Sirius nearly laughs. “There’s no way that’s happening today, sweetness.”
“What’s not happening?” Remus asks, uncapping a water bottle before passing it to you.
“She thinks she’s going back to work,” Sirius says wryly.
Remus looks at you, appalled. You only shrug, sipping at your water.
“You can’t work after a fainting spell like that. Especially not as dehydrated as you are—your body needs rest.” He shakes his head at you. “You can either get it at home or come with us to the hospital.”
You roll your eyes, re-capping the half-drained water bottle. “That’s so dramatic.”
“No, I’m the dramatic,” Sirius corrects you. “Remus is the reasonable one, which is how you know he’s right. Those are your options, dollface.”
You huff. “Fine, then can one of you go tell my manager that? I don’t want to be blamed for skipping the rest of my shift.”
“You’re not skipping anything,” Sirius says, standing. “I’ll go, I’ve got some things to say to him anyway.” He cracks his knuckles, and you look to James in alarm.
He leaps up, catching up to Sirius in a few long strides and nudging him back towards you. “I’ve got it, Pads. Why don’t you make sure she finishes that water bottle?”
“Fine.” Sirius stomps his way back to you. “But make him answer for sending her outside to sit on the curb.”
“Please don’t!” you call after James.
Sirius’ gaze narrows, flicking between you and the water bottle beside you expectantly. “Drink.”
“Fine, sheesh.” You pick it up and twist off the cap. Remus chuckles, picking up your half-melted bag of ice to hold it against your head for you. “Isn’t it, like, your job to be nice to people when they’re injured?”
“I thought you weren’t injured?” Remus hums. You shoot him a look that’s meant to be intimidating, but his lips twitch upwards. “Relax, love, we’re just worried about you.”
Well, it’s hard to be mad at that. “Thanks,” you say quietly.
Sirius resumes his crouch in front of you, taking one of your knees in each hand and squeezing lightly. “We get off in a few hours,” he says. “Would it be okay if we came by for dinner? We can bring takeout or something.”
You lower the water bottle, looking at him with interest. Your day has suddenly taken a positive turn. “Yeah, that sounds great.”
“Good.” He smiles, leaning forward to kiss you on the cheek. “Now be a good girl and finish your water.”
You flush instantly, and Remus’ head swivels as if to make sure no one is nearby to have heard him. “Sirius,” you hiss, “I’m at work!”
His grin sharpens. “Not anymore, you’re not.”

Thanks for requesting sweetheart! Sorry it took so long, hope this is okay! gn!reader x poly!marauders, pre-relationship

1.8k words (oopsie)
It was like you could hear their words on repeat as you raced up the stairs. What hurt the most is that you knew that some people would judge, but you hadn’t expected it from them.
“I just don’t know about 'em, Lils.” James winced. “Like they seem nice, but you know about people who choose to look at that…” He trailed off.
“I’m sure they’re not all bad.” Sirius cut in, clearly uncomfortable with the conversation. “But Prongs does have a point.”
“It’s just the impulsivity of it all.” Remus reasoned. “Like if you’re making rash choices like that, what else would you do.”
That was when you left your hiding spot in the stairs and ran back to your dorm. You could hear Lily’s ‘I’m so fucking done with you being stupid’ voice as you trailed away, making you smile at the knowledge that you had such a good friend.
But you had heard enough. They had clearly made their minds up about you. Besides, you knew your appearance was an… acquired taste, to say the least, and you couldn’t expect them to be with someone they weren’t attracted to. You didn’t think you looked that odd, but maybe your perception was skewed. No matter whose perception was more accurate, they clearly didn’t particularly like you, and it was probably best to keep your distance for now, at least until they really got to know you.
You knew that your appearance didn’t really match your personality. People often assumed you were rude, a slacker, confrontational, or even hateful. But the opposite was true in fact. You always made good marks, you were friends with loads of people, always trying to be as open as possible. And yeah, some people were intimidated at first, but they usually warmed up very quickly.
Apparently those three, the three you wanted the approval of the most, had not been as warm about you as you thought.
You crawled into bed and curled into yourself, trying to get a few hours of sleep before breakfast.
James yawned loudly, blinking his eyes rapidly to get rid of the sleepy, fuzzy film coating them. Him and his boyfriends had been up all night, getting lectured literally until the sun came up.
He had to admit, it was for the best. All three boys had gone to bed, feeling thoroughly corrected. Even slipping into shame.
“What the hell is wrong with you three?” Lily whisper-yelled. “James, you are the LAST person to say anything about appearances. Remember when I had to go around convincing people you hadn’t become mean after your growth spurt in fourth year? Just because you were big and scary and you hadn’t realized how you were coming across?” She scolded, before turning her head to the mouse-haired boy sitting by the fire. “And you,” She seethed. “You have no clue if her choices were ‘rash’ or not. I’ve heard plenty of rumors about your appearance, people saying similar things about you. About your ‘aggression’ just because they don’t know what’s going on with you.” She snapped her head over to Sirius, her fiery hair flipping around from the movement. “And Sirius, you’re just overcompensating because you’re jealous! You’re not fooling anyone, you would look like that in an instant if you could. You’re just too scared to do it.”
Sirius played with his thumbs, not able to dispute the accusations. None of the boys could actually. Lily could tell, she was satisfied with her work.
“I love you three buggers,” She pressed a friendly kiss to each of their cheeks as she stormed upstairs. “You just need to stop being such idiots.”
Sirius didn’t think anyone could change personalities that fast, but it seemed all three boys had woken up different people. That morning they had all just nodded to each other, acknowledging that their opinions were very different than they had been 24 hours ago and all walked shamefacedly down to breakfast. Sirius kept pushing his eggs around his plate, too busy staring at you to take a bite. You looked a lot different today. Your hair was ruffled in front of your face, hiding the metal glinting on your nose and eyebrow. You also had long sleeves and pants on, covering the ink detailing your skin. You still hadn’t waved at them, or even acknowledged the boys’ existence. Usually, you would be bouncing over to them, talking about the weather or whatever was on your mind at the moment. Sirius missed it if he was honest with himself. He was disappointed, he had been excited to show you his outfit. He crafted it with you in mind, teasing his hair up extra and being a bit more outlandish with his top, even stealing Marlene’s varnish to paint his nails.
Remus missed your interest in the latest book he had read. You always had so many interesting questions and you listened so intently. He missed how you played with the hoop in your septum as you nodded along to his plot summaries. You were always so patient and careful, it made his heart crack.
James was equally distraught. He had always prided himself on being open and friends with everyone, and he had considered you his friend, which just made him feel worse. He knew that stereotyping people never led to anything good, especially when someone's personality was completely ignored and replaced with caricature. Yes, you did look intimidating, but he actually liked it. It accentuated how soft your personality actually was. You were like a big dog that everyone was terrified of, but in reality was scared of butterflies and just wanted to love everyone. He laughed sadly, catching the other two boys' attention as he stared longingly at you. All he wanted to do was go over there, but you were completely ignoring them, so he figured it was best to just not bother you and continue on with his breakfast.
You were being equally as forlorn, continually sneaking glances over at the boys. They looked quiet and tired, but no less handsome. You felt sick, moving to leave your breakfast and all but run to the library. You needed to study anyway, you had become so infatuated that you were ignoring your classes. You had barely made it down the corridor before you heard three sets of panicked footsteps, quickly catching up to you. You tried to walk faster, but unfortunately Remus had very long legs and he briskly made it in front of you, trapping you in. He was looking flushed, amber eyes focusing on you way too much for comfort.
“Y/N,” He sounded out of breath. You fixed your face down and back, away from their gaze. You stopping had allowed the other two the opportunity to catch up, and soon you were face-to-face with all three of the people who apparently disliked you, but to your dismay, you were still completely attached to.
“You guys okay?” You asked, as kindly as ever but far quieter than they were used to.
“We’re fine, lovely.” James said, confused. “Are you okay?”
“I’m good.” You muttered, shifting your feet.
“Babe,” Sirius scoffed. Your heart jumped at the honorific, but you quickly scolded yourself. Sirius just called everyone that. You had heard what he, what all three of them had said last night. “You ran from there like bat outta’ hell.” He said like you were being ridiculous.
“And you haven’t spoken to us all day.” Remus cut in before you could respond.
“It’s only seven.” You mumbled.
“Still odd.” James quipped, moving ever so slightly closer to you. “You’re not okay.” He said, with enough finality that you gave up the act all together. They really weren’t going to make this easy on you. They said all those things last night, but they were still going to put you through the misery of having to listen to them say all those things directly to you.
You sighed dejectedly, starting to pick your nails. “Look okay,” You tore the words from the back of your throat. “I know that you don’t like me or don’t think I’m nice or whatever. You don’t have to talk to me, it’s okay.” You did your best to give them a reassuring smile, even managing for water to stay out of your eyes, but their expressions didn’t make it easy. Sirius cursed and pinched the bridge of his nose, James looked like a kicked puppy, and Remus was hiding his eyes from you. You started to walk away, but you were blocked in.
“Shit, you heard last night?” Sirius winced. You nodded painfully, looking back down at your shoes. The silent tension was so thick you felt it suffocating you. James was the first to do anything, wordlessly striding over to pull you into a bone-crushing hug. You stumbled from the shock, easing into him accidentally, but you made no moves to tense away. You limply wrapped your arms around his waist.
“I’m so sorry, angel.” He said, panicked. “I was so stupid, I- I never should’ve said it I don’t know what I was even thinking.” He pulled you tighter to him, enough that you were worried of your feet leaving the ground.
“I’m sorry too.” Sirius said, much more morosely than usual. “Never should’ve said those things, and you never should've heard it either.”
“We’re all sorry.” Remus said firmly. “We all know better, we should’ve known not to think that way. It’s awfully closed-minded. You’re our friend, we should’ve acted like it.”
“It’s okay.” You squeezed out.
“No.” Sirius said sharply. “It’s not okay. I don’t know if you heard what Lily said back, but she pointed out a lot of things, and I can promise that we don’t think that way anymore.”
“Please, please forgive us, baby. We were so wrong. You’re so kind and smart and funny and gorgeous an-” James was rambling on and on.
“Jamie, it’s okay. I know you’re sorry.” You giggled at his panicked tone. “Can you uh- you’re kinda crushing me.”
“Shit! Sorry.” He released you quickly, but not before slicking your hair out of your face. You just laughed, feeling ten times lighter.
“We’re okay.” You reassured. “I forgive you all, it hurt, but it seems like you are all beating yourselves up enough.”
“Jus’ feel bad.” Remus grabbed you unexpectedly, tugging you into his arms. He wasn’t squeezing you like James, but rather greedily absorbing your touch. This felt like a big deal, you almost never saw Remus hold anyone.
“Don’t feel bad.” You pleaded. “Everything’s fine now.” You rubbed his back in a way you hoped was soothing. You felt him relax in your arms.
“Okay stop hogging them.” Sirius tugged Remus out of the way, making him grunt in dissatisfaction. (You pretended to not notice the sneaky kiss Sirius pressed to the taller boy’s knuckles.) “It’s my turn.” He grabbed you with loving aggression.
“I wasn’t hogging.” Remus quipped.
“Yeah, you were.” Sirius sassed. “Besides, I was the biggest idiot. I need to give the biggest cwtch.” His reasoning was flawed, but you settled into him nonetheless.

It was your fault.
Tumblr media
"It was your fault" you screamed at dumbledore who stood in front of you.
"Yn..". He pleaded.
"NO, YOU KILLED JAMES, YOU KNEW WHAT VOLDEMORT WAS GOING TO DO, U KNOW ABOUT PETER, HOW COULD YOU NOW LILY AND JAMES ARE DEAD. MY BROTHER AND SISTER IN LAW ARE DEAD BECAUSE YOUR A SELFISH BASTARD, AND IM GOING TO RAISE HARRY MYSELF NOT YOU OR PETUNIA!!". you screamed as remus looked at you sad look on his face.
You held harry protectively in your arms, wand at dumbledores neck as wet salty tears cascaded down you face.
Remus moved your wand from dumbledore enveloping you in a hug.
"He's gone remmy, my brothers gone". You choked out in a sob looking down at your twins lifeless body and his sleeping baby in your arms.
Heart shattering more.

Definitely (Dying, pt. 2)
Poly!marauders x reader, James Potter x reader, Remus Lupin x reader, Sirius Black x reader
Summary; a failed attempt and a year later, y/n is finally okay
Words; 1,800+
Warnings; srs tw, talk of drug abuse, suicide, self harm, I think that's all
Pt. 1, "Dying"
Really heavy topics, loves, please proceed with caution. I love you all!
Tumblr media
It had been two months. The worst two months of their lives. The Marauders watched from afar as their now ex girlfriend killed herself, and said ex girlfriend had to watch as her lovers sat in each other's arms, basking in each other's presence. It was all too much. She couldn’t take it anymore.
Today was a rare day where Y/n wasn’t on anything. Her system was clear and a bright smile was on her face. Almost everyone felt uncomfortable about the sudden change, wondering why she was suddenly… okay. Truth is she was the farthest from that that she’s ever been.
“Oh my gosh! Y/n, I love your necklace. Where did you get it?” Lily Evans, one of Y/n’s best friends, asked as Y/n sat down at the table. She sat as far away from the Marauders as she could, which proved difficult as Lily loved sitting next to them.
Y/n smiled and reached behind her head, swiftly unclasping the necklace and dangling it in front of Lily, “Here, have it.”
Lily shook her head, “Oh no, I couldn’t take it.”
“No, I swear it’s fine. It’s not really my style anyway. It’d look much better on you than me.” Y/n insisted and Lily hesitantly took the necklace.
The thing is, that was Y/n’s favorite necklace. One her mom had given her when she was just a little girl, before she became a disappointment. The Marauders knew that. They shared uneasy looks, confused as to why she would so easily hand over her favorite possession,
“Awh, that was sweet, Y/n.” Marlene said, admiring the golden necklace that now lay beautifully across Lily’s chest.
“Oh, here. You can have my bracelet. I always see you eyeing it.” She removed the bracelet and handed it to Marlene.
“Oh, thank you, Y/n. How kind.” She said with her brows furrowed.
“Of course.” Y/n responded with a smile.
It had been like that all day. She had given away everything that was complimented and constantly gave people hugs and told them she loved me. It was weird, for lack of a better term. It wasn’t only people close to her that noticed the unusualness either. It was classmates and teachers as well, even the paintings that lined the walls noticed a difference. It left an uneasy pit in everyone's stomach.
That night, Remus sat at his desk with his hand holding up his head as he was deep in thought.
James gently placed his hand on the boy's shoulder, “Moony? What’s going on in that head of yours?” James asked and Sirius perked up at the question, also wanting to know the answer.
Remus shook his head, “S’nothing.”
Sirius let out a short laugh, “You're full of shit. You’ve got that face. You only get that face when you’re thinking of something.”
“Oh, yeah. You’re right. He does have a thinking face.” James agreed and Sirius nodded.
“I know right, he goes like-” Sirius made an exaggerated facial expression.
“No, that looks nothing like him, dimwit. It’s like this-”  Remus tuned them out as they fought.
He went over every interaction Y/n had had that he witnessed throughout the day. She was acting so strange. Even before all the weed and drugs she never just gave away her possessions. She loved her things and held them close to her heart. So why was she giving it all away? And why was she suddenly showing so much affection? And why now? What changed? And why does Remus feel like he’s forgetting somethin-
Remus shot from his seat, “We need to find her. Now.” He said urgently before running out of the room, the boys paused before running after him, knowing exactly who “her” was.
Remus hastily knocked on the door of Y/n’s dorm room, hoping she would open the door. Instead he was met with the sleepy face of Lily Evans and soft snores from Marlene who was cuddled up into Dorcas’ side. No Y/n.
“Remus?” She glanced behind him. “Sirius? James? What is it?”
“Is Y/n here?” He asked, dread filling his body.
Lily shook her head, “No, she said she was going up to the astronomy tower. Why?”
“I’ll tell you later, thank you.” He said before beginning to move again, but once they got down to the empty common room Sirius grabbed tightly onto his arm, stopping any movement.
“Remus, what is going on? Why are you so worried?” Sirius asked.
“I think Y/n’s going to kill herself. The signs add up, giving away valuable possessions, being extra affectionate, and you know how her life is. We need to find her, now.” Sirius and James looked at each other before nodding. Sirius let go of Remus and all three sped to the astronomy tower, spending little to no time to think about not getting caught. Right now it was not a priority, their priority was Y/n.
They raced up the steps, not stopping as their lungs begged for air and legs ached for rest. Remus burst through the door and halted as his eyes lay on a silhouette standing at the edge of the tower, on the other side of the rails.
“Remus?” The figure asked, her voice hoarse and broken.
“Y/n, baby, please. Come here.” He begged as his boyfriends came in behind him.
“Y/n?” James asked tentatively. “Sweetheart, don’t do it.”
“Please, go away.” She asked, tears pouring from her eyes. They weren’t supposed to be here. “Please.” She whispered.
Sirius was the only one brave enough to step closer, “No. We let you leave once already, I won’t let you again.” He took another step.
“No, get away from me!” She cried, her sweaty hands slipping against the cool metal.
“Love.” Sirius said quietly, close enough to whisper to her. “It’s going to be okay, yeah?” She began to protest but he shook his head, shushing her while taking yet another step forward. “No, I know how hard that is to believe. But it will. And I- we- we will be there every step of the way. Come on, love, grab onto my hand.” He said quietly while stretching his hand out.
“I can’t do it anymore, Siri.” She whispered, her legs shaking.
“Yes you can.” He assured her immediately. “You can, I know of it. You are the strongest girl I’ve met. I know you can stay here. With me. And Remus. And James. I know you can.”
“But the weed and-and the alcohol, even if I don’t know, I’ll kill myself!”
“Then we’ll work together to get sober. Y/n, my love, it’s not impossible for you to be happy. I need you to realize that. You can be happy, and you are worthy of being happy. Now hold my hand, please.” He asked again, tears stinging his eyes. She hesitantly grabbed his hand and let him help her over the rails.
The moment her feet touched the ground of the astronomy tower she collapsed in tears and the three immediately engulfed her in a warm hug. She sobbed in their arms for what felt like hours, but the boys didn’t care. She needed love, and they were going to give it to her.
Once her cries quieted to small sniffles Remus pulled away and gently placed his hand on her tear stained cheek, wiping away the tears with the pad of his thumb.
“Hey, baby.” he said quietly.
“I’m sorry.” She whispered.
“Whatever for?”
“Being such a bitch to you guys and pushing you.” She said, her eyes cast downward as guilt filled her body.
“It’s alright, my love. We’ve already forgiven you.” Sirius responded, the boys nodding along with him.
“We just want you to be okay.” James said, his arms wrapped loosely around her neck as he placed a soft kiss on her temple.
Y/n nodded slowly, “I wanna be okay too.”
“You will be okay.”
A year later, Y/n smiled at Lily as she sat down at the table in the morning.
“Good morning, Lily, how did you sleep?”
Lily snorted, “I would’ve slept better if a few girls in my dorm didn’t stop gossiping all night.”
Y/n and Marlene looked at each other with smirks.
“Oh, how rude of them.” Marlene said.
“Truly a tragedy.” Y/n agreed, grabbing a piece of toast. “Does anyone know where my boyfriends are?” She asked, looking around the table.
“Probably doing something dumb.” Dorcas said and Y/n nodded.
“I believe it.”
The doors to Great Hall opened and in walked Sirius Black. He walked to the Gryffindor table and stood behind his girlfriend, leaning down.
“We need you outside, please, Ms. L/n.” He said, sending shivers down the girl's spine.
“Oh, really?” She asked.
He kissed her cheek, “Yes, ma’am. Shall I escort you?” He asked, standing straight and holding out his hand.
She grabbed his hand, “You shall.” She stood up and let out a small yelp as Sirius quickly tugged her along. Y/n laughed as they sped down the hallway, making Sirius smile. Her laugh truly was music to his ears.
The left the castle and Sirius brought her to a little picnic blanket which her other two boyfriends were lounging on while conversating.
“Ah, look at our girl.” James said as he noticed them approaching.
“Guys, what is this?” Y/n asked with wide eyes as Sirius pushed her down gently, urging her to sit.
“Well, I do believe it’s a picnic.” Remus answered with a grin.
Y/n rolled her eyes, “No, I mean what’s it for?”
“Ah, great question. Today marks one year of you being sober, and we wanted to show you how proud of you we are.” Sirius explained and Y/n smiled.
“Guys, thank you. I love you all so much.”
“We love you too.” James responded.
“Oh! Hagrid made a cake. We didn’t ask him too, but he handed it to us and told us to make sure it got to you.” Remus said, handing Y/n a box.
Y/n smiled as she read what was on the cake.
‘PROWD OF YOU, Y/N!’
“Awh, Hagrid is so sweet.” Y/n said with a large smile.
“We’re proud of you too, by the way.” James said, putting his head on her lap.
Sirius grabbed Y/n’s hand, “I told you you were the strongest girl I knew.”
Pride swelled in Y/n’s chest. She had come so far in just a year. She had walked through hell and came back alive, barely, but still alive. She had cut off contact from her parents, much to their dismay as now their scapegoat had left, however they didn’t put in the effort to keep her around. During the summer before seventh year she stayed in the spare bedroom at the Potter house, going under strict rules of doors open at all times if she and James were together, or any of them if the other two came over. Y/n was more than okay, she was happy. She healed. Was it hard? Maybe. Was it worth it?
Definitely.

TITILE: CHAOS
NOT PROOF READ. ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE. (THATS FRNECH)
CHAPTER #1 (ONLY 2 CHAPTERS WILL BE THERE)
Warnings: Angst/comfort (nothing too heavy)lmk if I missed anything
Sweetheart will you be there at the game?Asked James. While Remus pulled you closer by the waist.
Aawh, Jamie, you know I would but.You trailed of but gave a glance at Remus. It had been a full moon just yesterday and saying he was extremely clingy would be an understatement.
Y/N! Sirius bellowed,as he came into the room barging into the room.
Yes hun? Y/n replied trying to sit up but remus pulled you back down, nuzzling his head further into your chest.
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA, WHO JUST RAN FOR THE PLATFORM, CUZ I WAS RUNNING?
You were about to ask him who, but he answered the question himself
REGULUS SHITTY BLACK, THATS WHO. Sirius replied in an annoyed tone.
James chuckeld at his boyfriend, who had overworked himself over such a subtle thing while, you gave a smile to sirius.
You gave James a look which he interpreted as:handle padfoot for now"
NO, NO, NO JAMIE, DONT- Sirius started, but was cut of by James who took him by his collar into the bathroom, discarding both of their clothes and poping Sirius and himself into the tub be had filled earlier.
Remus pulled you even closer at this action of yours, and you rubbed his back, earning a groan from him
Still v'sore. Remus cried out
Sorry baby. You apologised and gave him a symapthetic look
You always gave Remus his way before and after the full moon, because you knew how sensitive he would become.
☆☆☆☆
Dinner's out boys. You shot from the dining room, as you sat on your usual spot.Usually sirius would sit next to you, so as the boys came from the room, a wet haired sirius came and sat next to you, on which you earned a look from remus which made your heart break, knowing you could please sirius more easily, you sta up and went to james seat and sat next to remus.
Y/n-Sirius started but James like always saving your ass, started another topic.
You deep down knew what you were doing was wrong but you also knew that Remus was almost always the one giving up things for all of you, so you continued to do what you did.
After eating dinner all of you went to sleep quick as James had a game tomorrow, and sirius had elections in his office.
You were again sleeping with remus on which you earned a scowl from sirius AND James.
You couldn't sleep alot that night because Remus kept shifting in bed and you were not a very heavy sleeper, even tge tiniest things could wake you up, and this was a whole grown man. When you finally were about to sleep, James's loud alarm rang, him being a heavy sleeper always had an extremely loud alarm, you didn't mind since you were usually awake before him but today was just not going the way you had planned.
Aah Jamie turn that off. Your voice cried.
Y/N, cmon wake up, yk I can't go to a game without my good luck charm giving me a good breakfast. James replied
You woke up with a groan, your back extremely stiff from last night and mainly because you had carried all the groceries day before yesterday since the boys were out with moony.
You gave James a kiss on the cheek and went to the kitchen and started making breakfast.
20 minutes later James emerged, in his uniform. And found his breakfast on the table, ready.
He muttered a barely audible thanks, ate his breakfast, washed his hand and got ready to leave.
Just as he was about to leave you grabbed his amr and pulled him towards yourself.
I m sorry, I can't come to the game, but I know you will win.Thank you for understanding James. You said and gave him a quick peck.
I love you. You added.
Mhm. James replied and left.
Feeling a bit uneasy you went upstairs, in order to rest, but were struck by someone shouting.
I THINK I TOLD YOU TO IRON MY SHIRT, Y/N! Sirius shot in a very angry tone.
I did- You replied
YEA, IT AUTOMATICALLY GOT RUINED?EH? Sirius said
Gimme a minute I will iron it. You said taking the shirt from his hand.
No thank you, you should sleep with your wolf. Sirius said, took his shirt and left the room.
Whats all the commotion about? Remus asked in a sleepy tone, still in bed.
You should rest, i will handle it. You said quickly knowing that if he woke up there would be nothing but chaos.
Remmy-
But Remus had already gotten up and was heading to the living room where sirius was having breakfast.
What the hell was that about? Remus asked in an unstable tone.
Oh, so now she sent you to shout at me? Sirius replied in a matter-of-fact tone.
No. But sirius you should know she isn't ignoring you-
This isn't about her Remus. I know she never ignores me, it's you, you know it's you.Stop pretending. You are ok.Now unlike some ppl I have a job so bye.Sirius shot and left.
You came to remus and starter talking to him.
Remus what-
THATS ENOUGH Y/N. WHY DIDNT U IRON SIRIUS'S SHIRT??BECAUSE OF YOU HE IS MAD AT ME. CANT U DO ONE THING PROPERLY?
Remus, i-
I DONT WANT TO TALK TO YOU.
ENOUGH, WHY R YOU ALL SHOUTING AT ME?
BECAUSE YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.Remus said and left the apartment.
You sat on the cold floor, thinking about the behaviours of all of them and what they had said.
In the end you came to the conclusion, that they were all mad at either you or because of you.

Hey lovie!
I have a multiverse Monday request for Professor!Marauders. Maybe reader gets in trouble with one of the boys and she begs them not to tell the others but they do and then she gets in trouble, idk you can make up the end lol.
today is multiverse monday! send me any au you can think of :)
thank you for the request!
this post is 18+ (and so are its characters), minors dni.
"No, Siri, please don't tell them!" You lean over his desk, tie dangling in front of you while he stares unimpressed up at you from his chair.
"Why not? 'S a pretty serious offence, love." He points at the library textbook you've torn pages out of, "Those cost a lot."
"But- But James's tests are so hard," You whimper, tears clogging your throat and mucking up your words, "And all I wanted to do was study!"
"So check out the book," Sirius counters, one eyebrow raised, "Do y'know what Remus would do if he knew you were tearin' up books?"
"I can't check out the book!" You urge, frustration seeping into your tone and intensifying it. Tears prick at your eyes, just as humiliated and upset as you are, "'Cause your stupid bloody class is so complicated I have to take out three books just to understand it properly! And Remus requires five separate novels be checked out," You huff, "That's all eight books I'm allowed to check out at the library."
Sirius's fists clench on top of the desk, and you know you've made a mistake. You didn't mean to shout, nor did you mean to call his class 'stupid', but both have irritated him, and you know you've botched the job.
"Right," He seethes, staring at you with cold disappointment as he stands, grabbing his keys, "Let's go on to Remus's classroom, yeah? Y'can tell him how terrible his class is," Sirius grabs your wrist, tugging you along behind him as you protest, "'N then we'll head to James 'n see how he likes your study habits."
"No, please!" You don't have time for a punishment, not now that you're even more behind with studying, "Please, Siri, 'm sorry! I didn't mean it," You sob, "Don't tell on me!"
"You bloody deserve it." He scoffs, "We're keepin' you on the right track, doll."
The pet name offers little comfort as he tugs you down the empty hallway. You can't say that there's not excitement brewing in the pit of your stomach at the thought of a night full of punishments, but you're scared to see disappointment on James and Remus's face.
"'Promise I won't do it again," You sniffle, a last-ditch effort to stop Sirius from reaching for Remus's doorhandle, but he does it anyways.
"Damn right you won't," He grumbles, dragging you inside and nudging you towards Remus, who looks up at you in his empty classroom scrutinizingly, "Go on, pet, tell'im what you think of our classes."
