Found a very small (and cold!) baby rattlesnake out in the storm. Right out in the open! Not a good place to be a little snake at all.
Since it was in my dog's poop spot, I relocated the snake to a more sheltered area under a log, near a mouse hole. Hopefully he'll figure it out.
(note: in general, don't try to move a venomous snake. That's how you get bitten. I have experience (and a lapsed license) in this area so I felt comfortable moving this little guy)
