gojo

you're laying in bed wrapped in sheets, freezing when you hear a loud knock from the front door. you drag yourself to open the door. gojo stands in front of you. his smile vanishes when he sees your face, pale skin and red eyes.

he lets himself in. you groan, letting your head fall to his chest. "so tired, satoru". his hand pushes back the strands that cover your eyes, "oh baby" and he pouts at you.

he wraps his arms around you and pulls you in close as you lay back in bed. "you're going to get sick toru," you whisper as you nuzzle your head into his chest. "does this feel nice?" you nod a yes into his chest "worth it, then". you let out a sweet chuckle.

as expected he falls sick. a sick gojo is like a cat. purring as you scratch his scalp. although he could rct himself back to health, he doesn't...only so he can spend more time in your company. because as soon as he recovers he'll have to leave you and go back to work, so you let him cling to you like a needy and whiney cat. he pouts whenever you leave him for too long. he follows you into the kitchen his hands wrap around you, under your shirt. he nuzzles his head into your neck, humming contently at your warmth.

he calls you in the early morning to ask you when you're going to get to this place. excited to take go on a weekend trip with your mutual friends. "yeah, i'll be there in a few hours" but your gruff voice suggests otherwise. "are you okay?" he asks concern lacing his voice. you hum into the phone, "just a sore throat, i'll have some ginger tea and i'll be fine". you fall asleep as soon as you hang up the phone. too tired to move out of bed.

a light shake of your body wakes you up. "hey," a voice whispers. your muscles feel heavy as you turn around to see the source of the voice. you slowly blink your eyes open to the night sky and a worried suguru standing over you. "suguru," you whisper quietly but your throat feel equivalent of when you scrape your knees on the ground. "come on baby, let's get you to the hospital." you groan as he slowly pulls you into a sitting position. too tired to walk, he ends up carrying you to his car. "it's okay i can walk," you protest. "the elevator isn't working and there's no way i'm letting you walk 15 floors of stairs like this." you blush and hide your face into his chest and whisper a "thank you".

the doctor diagnoses you with pharyngitis, a common infection and tells you, you should get fine within a week. so suguru stays by your side and nurses you. being close and keeping you warm when you feel too cold, cooking for you, carrying you to the bathroom, helping you gargle with saltwater to relieve the throat pain. "you don't have to do this," you tell him the first day. hating the fact that he's cancelling his plans to take care of you.

his eyebrows furrow as you continue, "you should go on that trip and have fun, yeah? you heard the doctor, i'll be fine in a few days." he exhales deeply. "i wouldn't have fun if you're not there. i would just be missing you the entire time. i'd much rather stay here with you sweet girl." he smile. "i'm sorry. i wish i wasn't sick," you pout. "heyy.. don't. i love taking care of you." he squeezes your hand. "thank you sugi, i'll make it up to you." you cuddle into his side. "i look forward to it," he winks causing you to giggle.

nanami

as soon as nanami finds out your sick he's on his way to your place, cancelling any and all meetings for the next few days. your laying on the couch in a fetal position watching a movie when he walks in with two bags of groceries.

you make an effort to get up and help him with the groceries. "i know where everything goes, just go back and lie down." he scolds you. thirty minutes later you can smell your comfort meal from the kitchen. you peak from the couch to see nanami preparing you a plate. "made you, your favorite" he smiles. tears quickly fill your eyes. worried your in pain nanami sets the plates on the coffee table and crouches down in front of you "are you okay? does it hurt somwhere?"

"i'm okay, it's just the niki udon," you sniffle. "what about it? do you not like it anymore?" he questions. "no no, i love it. it's just that you made it for me. thank you so much."

"oh baby, you scared me. i thought i did something wrong." he lets out a breathy laugh. you gasp "you could never. you're the most perfect boyfriend kento". you chirp.

sukuna

"who made this? where is she?" you can hear sukuna scold the servants from your room. sukuna's not fond of other people's cooking, except yours. so he's rightfully mad when his food is not served to him like usual. too much salt, too little spice in the dish. it was routine. you would cook for him. and he would come to your bedroom at night to tell you how much he liked the food. just an excuse to spend time with you.

you can hear heavy footsteps coming up the stairs and you prepare yourself for an angry sukuna. he lightly knocks on your door and calls out your name. unusual for him to do this with anyone else but you. it was something about the way you look at him and talk to him, even smile at him when everyone else cowers under his gaze. albeit he would never admit, but you made his heart beat weirdly. he was turning soft for you.

"come in". usually he would stand by the wall across from your bed, however this time he makes his way over to where you're laying. he gently lowers the back of his hand to your forehead. "you're hot," he whispers. "thanks," you giggle causing him to let out a chuckle.

"does it hurt anywhere?" he asks you, tenderly pushing your hair behind your ear. his palm lingers on your cheek, his thumb moving back and forth under your eye. "my body really hurts, and i have a headache and i'm sorry you didn't have a good meal tonight."

"hey..." he sits down on next to you. his hand on your cheek firm and comforting. "it's okay, it wasn't a bad meal just missed your cooking more." he smiles softly. he holds both your hands in his lower set of hands. "do you want me to take it away?" he asks you. "how..?" you're about to question when suddenly he leans closer. his lips warm, soft, and tender against your forehead. he pulls back and your head feels lighter. "how did you do that?" you ask him, mouth agape. "don't worry about it. where else does it hurt?" he lays you on your back and gets on top of you. and with each kiss, you feel better. his kiss holding some sort of power. "it's one of my techniques" he smirks. "and here i was thinking, you're some sort of cupid," you joke.

Hey, I just remembered that OG Dabi gets motion sickness pretty easily. Would Satoru reborn as Dabi have the same issue?

Personally I could be on a boat or roller-coaster all day no problemo. But watching a movie like Cloverfield had me face down in the theater carpet trying desperately not to be reintroduced to lunch.

So far, we've only seen Satoru on one plane ride, and the rest has been on foot or telleporting. Like, if he tried taking Eri on a teacup ride or something, would he be alright, or would he be a shaky nauseous mess that needs to lay down for 10-15 minutes.?

Oooh never thought about it. He doesn't seem to have a problem with it in JJK, but that would be fun to have him actually be prone to motion sickness/inner ear problems as Dabi haha. I have terrible motion sickness myself so I feel you.

Yeah idk if that's something you could technically fix with RCT (reversed-curse technique/healing) probably not since it would probably require Satoru to have really precise anatomical knowledge in order to heal it?

Powerscalling 100%. People also tend to underestimate Yuuji a lot, both on the physical level and emotional. I get so angry when I see his ideals pre Shibuya especially be mocked and called juvenile. He is!! 15!!! and he already cares about other more than almost everyone on this show. So many people in the fandom view Yuuji the way Sukuna does, especially with rct 💀when Higuruma learns rct: 😍🥰; when Yuuji learns rct prior to the fight: ewww what an asspull

I felt very vindicated when Sukuna acknowledged Yuuji's soul and his ideals hehe

15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.)

Goyuu 100%, I read a couple of fics as a joke and now they are my otp and I love them so much I need to chew on both of them. They are just so so precious to me.

Other than goyuu, it would be sukuita. I really like the sharing the bodies thing plus Yuuji literally being made for Sukuna. They also work really for one post I saw that was like "penetration as a metaphor for penetration"

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

I don't think my thoughts on him changed much? Unlike most people I thought his desire to protect others was really admirable if a bit heartache inducing with the way he disregards his own safety for the sake of others. I love how human he is, no matter how painful it gets he still retains that humanity and compassion and care for others. I wish I could get him away from Gege, because the dirspect??? Also I need Yuuta out already so the focus can be back on Yuuji, sorry Yuuta fans

Also, I really like the depth to his relationships with many other characters and I wish we got it for his mother too. Yuuji deserved to commit matricide

I agree with the anon and you. It really is getting frustrating.

My gripe with Gege’s writing started after how he removed Mahito from the situation. I wanted Mahito to have some payback atleast. Junpei, Nanami, the countless people in Shibuya, Nobara and after all that the conclusion Mahito gets is absorption?

If Gege wanted Gojo out of the picture, he already had the setup with Gojo sealed. Atleast Gojo’s death should’ve had some meaning if he was going to go. Mutually assured destruction would have been nice with the last purple that Gojo fired.

Also how is it that it has been a month since the squad was prepping for the fight with Sukuna and Choso never once brought up Sukuna’s abilities up and only brought it up during the fight? Like how is there no communication at all among the protagonists? How did they even let Sukuna go from 15 fingers to 19 fingers. That seemed like the most stupid thing to do. A lot of things did not make sense and is very inconsistent with the way characters have been behaving.

If the idea is to get the next gen stronger, then Gege did a terrible job in it (except for Maki) because he had time to power creep Yuji (who is supposed to be the MC btw). Yuji has been irrelevant in any battle and almost always had someone pull him out of the mess.

And what about the part that only a six eyed user can take on Kenjaku? Without Gojo, how is that supposed to happen? Wasn’t that one of the reasons why Kenjaku had Gojo sealed out of the many?

Right now all of these 1 vs 1 fights with Sukuna just feels like Sukuna just flexing his muscles.

oh you don't know i was LIVID when i read about mahito's death like he had to go? okay then let one of our mcs have it, i HATED it.

i never thought about that ending but now that you say it YEAH i would have preferred that a thousand times over this kind of death, that would actually serve a purpose and push the plot forward. I really am trying to wrap my head around on how gege is planning to explain all of this because if gojo couldn't defeat sukuna in his suppressed form how is our cast (who are supposedly weaker than him) meant to take him down (even if we consider the damages gojo dealt on him, which mind you he is recovering from seemingly easily). As for the never having to discussion of sukuna's ability I do think i can explain that because

1. they were very much betting on gojo to take him on

2. there are many techniques sukuna adopted, enhanced and copied (from gojo) just by watching it for the first time during that fight (for example using of the spent ct as rct)

3. since it was the war between the strongest, we experienced things which were considered impossible (the back to back domain expansion part of the fight, which was if i remember correct was thrice), now they did not know this was possible before but saw it happen in Shinjuku so that's why they're worried.

though i majorly agree with sukuna fights being muscle (and also brain on his part let's give a bit credit for that) flexing rn, we'll have to agree that his rise up to power makes sense (what doesn't make sense to me is how gege mentioned that him and gojo were both equal and then ended gojo with excuse of sukuna wasn't going all out)

oh and i really agree with the terrible job in power creep portrayal, i mean yes there has been a massive increase in yuuji (since he was deemed close to grade 1 in shibuya and after that he kept growing plus let's not forget his culling game fights) the only explanation i can think of is either gege thinks it should be obvious enough to us that he's now clearly above grade 1 sorcerer so he did not bother mentioning it or he has trick up his sleeve (again questionable). As for kenjaku oohh boy we don't have where he is what is he planning who will he face on, thinking who'll now take on kenny and sukuna gives me headache

all in all there are explanations for plot devices but they only work for the cursed spirits, as for our main cast it's just a loss after loss, death after death which is causing a massive shift in fandom and our questioning of gege's so called not so generic shonen manga story and rightfully so

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

I LOVE HIS THEE AND THOU-ING. I especially love the fact that. There's no reasons like culturally for him to be like this, most sharlayans talk normally, if not a touch more formally. he made himself like this. i adore it.

i forget here it is (if its an npc who says it or if its a lorebook thing) but i like the part where the lore says hes Like This because of all those damn prophecy tomes he was on as a little kid. so i just imagine tiny little urianger looking at Ye Old Prophies and COMMITTING. he is precious to me

Small thing: I also love his stupid two sets of goggles when in his Potato Sack era.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

hmm... i feel like if i just sent him off on his own, he would wilt a bit. i would want to put him in something that gave him a fun, relaxing time, and think if thats to be accomplished I would have to send some of his People with him. he's been alone an awful lot and i see those as times that have also been or ended Bad. i think that might be something he dwells on.

OH I KNOW. okay weird one. but. BUT. hear me out. i would send him to Roller Coaster Tycoon. I know that's just technically just like a theme park but when i build them they are the BEST POSSIBLE THEME PARKS IN THE WORLD. if he could bring than, ryne, and gaia along, i just know he'd be really fulfilled by having a Fun Family Trip. i kind of see him as the guy who happily holds the bags and waits at the end of the ride. and i KNOW gaias got bags. also i feel like he is taking pictures and making the kids wear silly Park Gear. they go to some of the slow like Sitting and or Show type rides for him.

also if he was in RCT i could pick him up and Dangle him. not like malevolently but with the same emotion as I would have if I was Rotating Him

7/8. What’s something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like/despise?

I don't actually know much about the fandom takes on Urianger. Most of what I see is people analyzing his actions w/ The Warriors of Darkness and in Shadowbringers, and I haven't seen it be unfair yet. I think, though, I am not deep in the Fandom.

OH you know what I do hate. Every now and again people will mishear a bit about 1.0, and start popping off about how ~~~~~~secretly~~~~ Urianger is ACTUALLY a millennial old WISE and SCHEMING IMMORTAL WIZARD~~~~~~. I cannot blame anyone for thinking that, but it drives me off the wall. hes a 29 year old weird PhD haver who went around at aetherytes and chanting his insane End Of The World prophecies, he wears EITHER potato sack OR a backless dress and the only thing he knows how to do other than is eat hot chip be bisexual and tell the most insane lies possible. actually come to think of it i feel like HE was the one who started the insane lie ' is ACTUALLY a millennial old WISE and SCHEMING IMMORTAL WIZARD' so. either that or it was a general team effort. im getting into the weeds here so i digress.

I'm on that Urianger/Than ship if the bit about the theme park didn't give me away lol. I also like Uri/Moen but if I had to pick one it would be Uri/Than. Uri/Moen makes me sad to think about...

16/17. What’s your least favorite ship for this character?

Lol I havehit up the archive for this one. I'm genuinely not sure what the most popular ships are for Uri outside of Thancred. My guess is Uri/WoL, then Moen. But lets see.

lmao i opened the ffxiv tag and the first fic is an Uri/Than fic ive been reading which YIPPE! its updated!

okay im back its all than/uri and some uri/WoL. there are other ships but i got to the point where there were so few it would feel like kicking a life-raft to mention them.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn’t matter?

I thought about this long and hard. I went at it from every logical angle. I took apart his characteristics, history, things he's done and to who. Interests, likes dislikes. I thought HARD.

I could NOT shake my immediate and initial thought of Estinien. I haven't got a stick to shake at my pile of evidence I just feel this in my heart.

I guess I was very impacted by uh... when was it. The Scions were in the Rising Stones, and Uri was mentioning he was going to get some books or something to try and share with Estinien to get to know him. It was the most endearing shit I have ever seen and it cut me to the bone. I think probably that attempt did not work but I do not care. GO FOR IT URIANGER! i also, i suppose, wonder how many friends Uri has every actively tried to make himself. like in childhood it seemed more like moenbryda Selected him, and that not many other kids liked him. his complicated history with the scions is complicated, but i think obviously he has to put in active effort to maintain those relationships (ESPECIALLY SINCE HE LOVE HOT CHIP LIES), but a lot of his character development w/ the scions seems more akin to 'hey this is the guy on our team we've known each other for like a decade so we are friends now' and less akin to 'hi my name is urianger can i show you some cool books'

its just intriguing to me why he did that. i hope so much it works out.

also come to think of it i dont know how many friends ESTINIEN have sought out of his own volition. he actively avoids aymeric half the time. orn kahi appears to have also gone the moenbryda route of Mine Now. tataru and krile had to actively hunt and Blackmail him into the scions. certainly i would call him friends with us now, and he cares a lot about alphinaud, but as far as Who Reached Out To Who, i think he is actually in the same boat as uri. huh.

vrtra, i think, is it. though i haven't had enough review time to say who lead that one.

now i want to see uri and estinien sitting silently in a room doing their own separate silent tasks (uri is reading a Tome, estinien is Caring For Weapons) SPECIFICALLY so i can caption it 'tag two blokes who do fuck all'. maybe its alisaie sneaking a bad blurry picture over her shoulder with her front camera and sending it to alphinaud.

Prince Alfred in his Royal Navy midshipman's uniform, c. 1860. He joined the navy at the age of 12 in 1856 (RCT).

After their initial training, Royal Navy cadets of the 1850s and 1860s transferred to the Fleet for at least four years before being able to sit for the exam for lieutenant. Although many would serve on large ships close to home (which were more likely to have a naval instructor aboard), imperialism and global ambitions of the metropole meant that midshipmen could see action:

The China and Far East station, even after the ending of the Second China War in 1860, was a major employer of manpower absorbing over 40 vessels and in excess of 6,000 men over the following decade. The Civil War diverted ships and men on the North American station and trade protection and anti slavery patrols kept at least 15 ships and about 2,000 men employed off the coast of West Africa. Most vessels here were relatively small, shallow draft gun boats under junior command and unlikely to carry cadets or midshipmen by scheme of complement, but they frequently employed them on loan from larger vessels. Thus in the late 1850s and 1860s many 15- and 16-year-old boys received a baptism of fire in small craft up rivers and inside reefs, with expeditionary brigades ashore in China, India, New Zealand or off the coast of Japan. Admiral Sir John Fisher, a future First Sea Lord, saw action as a youngster in 1859, witnessing the death of Midshipman Herbert and the wounding of Midshipman Powlett and Armytage in the failed attack on the Peilo [sic] forts. ... The Importance of a Systematic Review in Plastic Surgery

Systematic reviews are essential for assessing the quality of research in a specific area. They use rigorous scientific methods and minimize research bias by considering all the studies.

Planning involves defining robust pre-specified protocols and a PICO approach (population, intervention, comparison, and outcomes). It also requires a careful selection of studies.

Systematic reviews (SR) and meta-analyses are the most rigorous method of aggregating evidence. However, their quality could be improved by the reliability of primary studies and the method used to pool data.

To assess the overall quality of SRs published in three prominent plastic surgery journals between July 2019 and July 2020, we critically appraised their reporting standards using A Measurement Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews (AMSTAR). We also investigated factors that influence the underlying methodology of these reports.

There must be a more significant gap between the quality of SRs in plastic surgery and other surgical specialities. Better education, awareness among all stakeholders and enforcement through journal submission systems could help to improve this.

Systematic reviews (SRs) address the shortcomings of traditional reviews by utilizing rigorous, reproducible methods and recommended guidelines. They are designed to eliminate sources of bias and ensure as complete a review of the existing literature as possible.

SRs are essential for clinical practice and ensuring that surgeons are informed about current standards of care and new technologies. However, their reliability and applicability can be undermined if they are not performed and reported correctly.

Therefore, this systematic review was conducted using the PRISMA guidelines. Articles were retrieved from the MEDLINE, EMBASE and Scopus databases using appropriate search terms and included only those studies that met the inclusion criteria.

The primary objective was to evaluate the quality of reporting in RCTs published in the Journal of Plastic Surgery. Fifty-seven articles were assessed for compliance with the CONSORT reporting guideline. The median score was 11.5 out of 23 items. The most common items where compliance was the poorest were intervention/comparator details, randomization implementation and blinding.

Despite the increasing importance of patient safety in all health research, only some studies about this subject consider the specificities of plastic surgery patients. These include the fact that they are generally female, healthy, and young.

The authors, therefore, conducted a systematic review in the Journal of Plastic Surgery to identify actions related to patient safety in this speciality. The literature was searched using MEDLINE and SCIELO databases between 2012-2018, totalling 15 articles.

The results showed that most SRs in this domain could be better formulated. They often employ spin, a form of reporting bias in which the results of studies are presented as overstating the efficacy or understating the harms of interventions. This is often a cause for concern, as it can result in clinical recommendations not being justified by the evidence.

A systematic review is a literature research method that collates and analyses empirical evidence to answer a specific research question. This type of review is also known as a meta-analysis.

The methodology used for a systematic review can be complex and requires careful planning to justify the conclusions reached. Systematic reviews typically address a structured research question and follow strict criteria to minimize bias.

The authors of the study evaluated a total of 1820 articles that met the inclusion criteria. Most studies included were in aesthetic and breast surgery (27%) or craniofacial surgery (23%).

So this is it. This is the pinnacle of everything that I’ve worked for. I’ve spent 4 years playing this game, and about 10 years before this playing each game separately (RCT, Corkscrew Follies, Loopy Landscapes) so this is basically everything that I’ve worked for for about 15 years. I finally made it

The first very immediate problem with this park is that it has absolutely no infrastructure. Within 10 days the park is covered in litter, vomit, and hundreds of people needing the bathroom. There are no benches outside of coasters, there is not one trash can in the entire park, and there are only 10 bathrooms across the 4,225,430 square feet of this park.

So because this park has both no money and no time limit I have decided that my first action is going to be to close all of the rides so that people stop coming into the park and also so people will stop vomiting everywhere. I will take this time to put in trash cans and bathrooms and to hire more handymen and mechanics, at least double. Because of how long all of this takes, it is not the beginning of year 8, and the first rides are starting to reopen, with a park rating of 999, and 6,800 guests wandering around an empty park.

Well the park was closed for 10 years but I have opened my first rides (the transport rides) on March 1st, Year 11. It is now March 1st, year 22, and every ride has been opened.

This park has every single ride in the game, combined into a perfectly themed park with unique themes and worlds. It lags so much because it’s a mega park, and because there’s well over 10,000 guests, which barely crowds the park. This park could realistically hold 20,000 guests, but I couldn’t imagine the lag.

I’ve downloaded the extra parks including the six flags parks, so I’ve decided to make a Bonus Group beginning with Tycoon Park. Beautifully designed park, very fun to wander around and look at all the rides. I finished Tycoon Park with 103 rides including 47 coasters.
