So, I was just re-watching the Bad Batch intro arc of the Clone Wars, and a thought struck me.

When Anakin, Rex, Echo, and the Batch are trapped on that pipe, Anakin (sarcastically) asks if anyone has a brilliant idea for an escape attempt . . . and then Tech pipes up that he does have a brilliant idea (thank you so much for asking, General Skywalker). And it turns out that Tech’s idea is completely batshit (ha!) nuts and Utter Ludicrous (TM).

Like, Anakin’s just standing there, clearly thinking, “Wait, that was an option? Flying out on these lizard creatures was so far done on the list of possible solutions that I didn’t even consider it . . . and I’m always involved in coming up with the Ridiculous Plans (To Succeed). This is crazy, even for me.”

And then I realized — Tech just out-Anakin-Skywalker-ed Anakin Skywalker. He surprised the guy who is known across the galaxy as being the hero without fear. Anakin got a taste of what it’s like to deal with his improvisations and plans that shouldn’t work (but somehow do).

I really hope he had a moment of clarity and self-reflection, where he thought, “Oh, so this is what that feels like. Obi-Wan was right. Dealing with someone who has a penchant for Ridiculous Plans is stressful!”

And perhaps, Obi-Wan felt an overwhelming sense of satisfaction back on Anaxes when Anakin’s realization rippled back to him through the Force.

Has Ben's habit of casual flirting caused any problems for him or the team?

Probably not as much as his casual flexing with Omnitrix tbh xD Which is basically flirting for this guy!

Though admittingly HoM Ben is not as flirty as it might seem at first. As he grew up, it became, as you said, a habit - more of a part of his heroic/public persona that he developed after becoming a hero celebrity across the (alien part of) universe.

It tends to make people (especially those who know him by his reputation first) feel easier around him and/or underestimate him if he is just some silly guy who flirts. (I mean he is silly guy who casually flirts, but he is also just a dude and so much more, as we all know.)

There were a few instances when it brought trouble, but also sometimes it helped them out too. But, let's just say that HoMies tend to look out for Ben not to say something unfortunate whenever he tends to be too friendly.

Actually there is another casual flirter in their friend group that brings almost as much trouble as Ben - it's Jake! Some of his casually flirty/overly friendly behaviour can be attributed to him becoming an American Dragon in his early teens (he really enjoyed his newfound cool dragon powers and popularity amongst magical folk), and some of it is just his personality (his behaviour was incredibly cringy at times when he was younger, but as he matured, it changed into something a little bit more charming).

When those two are on a mission together, others have to work overtime to keep an eye on them.

Which is ironic, because I 100% headcanon almost all of the HoMies masters of accidental rizz: they make people like them just by being themselves lol.

It’s kinda funny that everyone always jokes and memes about Rex and how sad and depressed he is but like in the current canon… he’s probably doing the most okay?

Like the guy is basically in his honeymoon phase with his crush and surrounded by people he considers his buddies who are actively trying to keep him happy and on their side (and it’s working). Rex is doing swell currently.

Does this person even get Rex, also how would Anakin allow Palpatine to mind control the Clones? It feels like no matter what happened, Palpatine would have used Order 66 to have the Clones kill the Jedi, that was the whole reason why he had them made in the first place, Anakin is not to blame for Order 66. Also funny how they leave out Luke in this post, probably because they know if they had Luke complaining about how Anakin/Vader treated him then people would point out that Luke was out of character because he had faith in his father. Same goes for Padmé, but I feel like they did that more because they think that Padmé wouldn’t complain about her husband because they think she has a fascist kink which is a creepy way to look at Padmé.
