Big fckn redesigns here. Well mostly Charlie but Vaggie somewhat too 🥰🥰

Blue fits Charlie soooo much and I cease to see that many redesigns with this color. I still want red to be used in most of their designs because well. They are in hell, but not too present so to make way for other unique colors. Charlie has several physical traits from her parents but also she has some details in her clothes that match with them. When I uhh, introduce their designs you'll see lmao. I also tried to make her have a more roundish design, I jst LOVE those typ of designs omg. I just want the characters with not too many sharp corners pls Viv bro... 😔 oh yeah she's mixed cuz her mom's are darker in their redesigns. Alot of their genetics went down to Charlie so she doesn't look like an exact copy of Lucifer, I kind of hate that trend with hh and hb characters, like did the moxxies dad give birth to him bro 😭 also I kept her bow because it looks so cute and silly on her it just fits, I wish they made it bigger in her show design because it would fit her silliness so much. She has a cape with stars because morningSTAR smh why didnt they do something fun with that, missed potential but whatevs yknow I still love og designs no matter what anyone sayss. The wife ever. I had animation in mind more when I designed her, not like in a "How easy or hard would this be to animate" way. But I like to imagine when she's shocked her hair kind of fluffs out plus her actual fluff, when she's mad her bow turns into kind of horns and then her jacket expands like wings. Gave her a more hotel like outfit, she likes to work for fun (ew). Her socks are socks but she has some fluff under them she just tries to cover it up because she hates herself 🤪 (she doesn't hate her bigger body she actually feels much more comfortable chubby than when she was skinny with Adam. She was burdened with the weight of Adam's image of women... In this sorta rewrite she gained weight when she goes to the hotel because she's more happy. I'm dying I love chub Vaggie so much guys please) headcanon: she kind of likes fashion, it's like a fun hobby of hers to stitch together clothing and go out and buy clothes she'll never wear. She taught Charlie how to stitch and she SUCKS so you can jst see it on Charlie's pants.

Second outfits! Charlie's hotel uniform for. Well. Hotel stuff. She usually only wears it when new people come to the hotel, which.... isn't often, if at all. She still likes to keep it just in case. Also she goes really cartoonish when it happens, she does the looney tunes run and changes into her clothes in like 2 seconds. Can you see my vision? 😭😭

Vaggie's is in her armor. She has several pairs of armor lying around in the hotel in completely hidden spots. It's kind of surprising uhh. Yeah she wears it alot more than Charlie wears her alt uniform but still rare to find her in it. I don't get the whole thing with the exterminators and them not being able to fight according to Carmilla. Which is kinda stupid, I'm not gonna lie. So, instead of that, Vaggie has just let her guard down and has gotten much more comfortable in her surroundings so she feels like she doesn't need to fight anymore, she's just gotten rusty 's what I'm sayin. I have no idea how to draw armor. You can tell...

Vi is pretty buff in her own right as well as you.

I mean c'mon, we've seen her in a tanktop. We've seen her back muscles and arm muscles.

All that time running around the Undercity and keeping herself busy while she was still locked up in prison really paid off.

And while you didn't exactly have the time to train in a jail cell, you certainly did when helping Ekko with the Firelights. You helped him build, and train others since the start of it all.

You both knew each other before everything that happened with Vander and Powder - Jinx - Powder? Whatever she went by nowadays - and Milo and Claggor. You weren't as buff back then like you were now. So when Vi met you again years later after Ekko let her see the Firelight hideout properly, she was pleasantly surprised.

"Look at you!", she had said in quiet astonishment.

"Look at me.", you said back with a smile. She draws you in for a hug. You both squeeze each other tightly. It's been... a long time.

"You filled out well", Vi comments softly in your ear.

"I wanted to be strong like you were", you tell her. "Plus the muscles look amazing on me. Lotta hard work to look like this."

"Well your hard work really paid off - seriously, look at you!" She pulls back, looking at you up and down, eyes roving over the muscles you had toned for months now in endearment. "You're not wrong, they look great on you."

Caitlyn

Caitlyn has had training herself as an enforcer. She's toned herself, but lean all the same.

The muscles are still visibly there, though, of course.

Now you, on the other hand? Buff. Bigger muscles, more sculpted but not to the point of what looks to be like dehydration. You've been working for them for months.

Years, even, at this point.

You weren't an enforcer by any means, but you were consistent in visiting the gym that Caitlyn usually trains at. That's how the two of you met, afterall.

Training in the gym.

One of the days you were both there, she was spotting you on one of the newer equipment that the gym had recently gotten. Courtesy of Caitlyn using her nobility status for personal gain.

And using friend privileges with Jayce who worked with the Piltoven council.

She was watching you as you worked, and her eyes caught onto the muscle she's seen you make yourself over the years.

Thinking back on it, she never really paid too much attention to the changes. It was gradual. She was already used to how buff you looked now, and however you looked before - which was probably still buff, but not as nearly as much as now.

She hummed with a proud look, patting your shoulder when you got off the equipment. "Sometimes I forget how hard you really work. Let’s go take a break and get some water. And maybe some lunch. I'll pay."

You can read through the lines when she gives your shoulder a squeeze. And you caught the way her eyes glanced over you. She was really proud of you, wasn't she?

"Lunch sounds perfect."

Ekko

You’ve been training with Ekko and the rest of the firelights for years at this point.

Well, it’s been seven years, but still years nonetheless.

Your progress was gradual, subtle in the ways that Ekko was already used to you being buff, much like you with him.

He was buff as well, much like you were. But as said before, you both trained together with the firelights. It was normal to see him the way he was, the way he was determined to stay strong - in more ways than one - and disrupt Silco’s horrible Shimmer business and regime in Zaun.

But much like with Caitlyn, sometimes he notices your gains in strength.

How your training has paid off.

You’d be just moving boxes of supplies for everyone in the hideout with him, ranging from medical supplies and medicines, foods and stuff for drinks, and parts for whatever Ekko and a couple of the other engineers create. Even extra toys and supplies for all the other kids you guys kept safe in the Hideout.

And after setting a box onto a pile in the supply room, Ekko glances in your direction, and just stares for a bit, resting his elbow against a metal shelf in the room. A smile ends up pulling at the corners of his mouth, even more so when you notice him looking at you.

“Everything good over there?”, you ask, raising a brow. You turn away and pick up another, smaller box, and stretch up to put the container someplace higher.

“Yeah.”, he chuckles lightly, turning back to the shelf. He pushed a couple of boxes to the side, making room for another. “Everything’s good.”

He doesn’t say it verbally, but the glint in his eyes do.

You look good, and you work hard.

He was proud.

OK FIRST EPISODE 9??? THE ANIMATION WAS SO FUCKING GOOD AND I HAD TO PAUSE BECAUSE WHEN WESLEY WAS FLAILING IN THE SEA, IT WAS DAMN smooth and pleasant to watch, as morbid as it sounds lol. that whole scene with the comic-esque vibe was so so pleasing. 

and that whole episode was super like, sad but funny. i literally stood up and yelled when Mr. B was getting near the edge. like i probably woke up every single one of my neighbors in like.. a 50 mile radius it was that bad im so fucking annoying about this show. 

BUT THEN SCUDS SAVED HIM AND I WAS SO HAPPY, LIKE THEYRE LITERALLY AN OLD COUPLE, AND LITERALLY THEY’RE FATHERS TO THEIR CLONE KIDS AND THEYRE ALL SUCH A BIG HAPPY FAMILY AND AUGHHHH im gonna draw family stuff with them so bad. Batfamily AU with time travel (but this time it’s Tim)

Tim groaned as he woke up. His head was killing him and it felt like the room was spinning. He must have took a hit to the head or something. As he rubbed his eyes he couldn’t help but notice how soft his hands felt. Looking down he was shocked to see little tiny fingers sitting on top his childhood duvet. Quickly taking in his surroundings his eyes went wide as he realized where he was.

He threw his covers off quickly and ran to the bathroom. Throwing himself up on the counter he gasped as his childhood self gazed back at him. His jaw hung open as he moved his hand up his face, poking and prodding at his featured and giving a few quick slaps. Yep, that was him.

“…WHAT THE FU—”

~20 minutes later~

“Okay. We’re okay.” Tim took a few more deep breathes as he paced his room. His arms were crossed as he bit at his nails, a habit he thought he’d grown out of- except no he didn’t because based on his estimate he was eight years old again and nothing was right, he was back at his old home, his parents were gone but gone and omg Bruce didn’t even have Jason yet- Jason hasn’t died yet! What did he do? Did he let things play out? He couldn’t do that! He knew too much! And! Just!

“URRGH” Tim muffled his scream in the pillow on his bed before going limp. He turned his head to the side as he thought about it. His eyes took on a determined glint.

If he was back, he could help. He was no use to anybody just sitting here like a scared kid. He was Red Robin! He smiled to himself.

They just didn’t know it yet.

~ Two Months Later~

So Tim definitely fucked up—he fucked up big time.

In his defense! He didn’t know Talia would go nuts on Bruce just because he sent her some messages implying he knew about Damian…while also implying that he was Bruce. But okay! How else was he going to get information on the little brat. He didn’t want to leave him with the League any longer than he had to! He could be saving his little bro some key trauma here. Bruce had already got to Jason before he could, so he figured he’d start collecting the rest. He peaked his head around the corner to look at the figures arguing in the distance. Jason was standing there with jaw dropped as he witnessed the scene.

“—A CHILD?!!” Batman argued. Gesturing wildly, waving his arms as he looked over the woman in front of him.

“Do not act like you don’t know what is going on! You! Are the one who sent me! Threatening messages about him. If you knew about him and you wanted information. You could have came and seen him. I thought we were past foolish nonsense like hidden messages.” Talia snarled. She had punctuated her sentences by boldly poking Batman in the chest, clearly unintimidated by his postering.

He hadn’t meant for this to happen.

Tim looked down at the young boy watching the argument along with him. At the same time the boy looked up and Tim couldn’t help but feel bad for the kid. He knew watching your parents fight was hard and dang if Damian’s little face didn’t show emotion even worse than he did as a teenager. Tim huffed out a sigh as he crouched to be on Damian’s level. Damian had focused completely on him, still with a little pout on his face.

“Damian, does your mother know you followed her here?” He asked in Arabic, figuring that at —four? Five?— the kid would appreciate it instead of English. The kids eyes narrowed as he scrutinized Tim before responding.

“No, who are you? Mother said I had a brother but she said he’d be a lot older.” He crossed his little arms and Tim tried valiantly to keep his expression plain. “You obviously are trained.”

Tim couldn’t help the small smile that spread on his face as he fully took in Damian’s posture. He looked adorable trying to be intimidating, almost like a little miniature Batman in his little black ninja outfit, complete with a little black hood. Tim was wearing something similar, drawing from his time with the league to help him get by when he didn’t have access to the bat’s technology. He held up a finger to his lips as he met Damian’s eyes.

“I’m a secret brother, don’t tell though. Father doesn’t know yet.” Truthfully Tim didn’t call Bruce anything resembling a parental figure but he’d thought about it and what better time to start than when he had a chance to fully start over. Besides, it would help the demon believe him more right now.

Damian looked skeptical but seemed to take in the fact that they were both in the same position as proof. He turned to look back at where the grownups were still fighting. Jason was sitting down now, talking into his com. Probably to Alfred considering he didn’t think him and Dick we’re getting along yet. Damian was still looking at him out of the corner of his eyes.

“Did your mother hide you as well?”

“Mm, something like that.”

A couple seconds passed and Tim was thinking Damian would go back to watching until—

“Do you know where father lives then? Mother wouldn’t show me.” Tim snapped his head toward the kid who looked a bit embarrassed. He thought about ten year old Damian, who came to the cave full of anger and rage…but also hero worship for Bruce.

Maybe he could end up getting his brother quicker than he thought.

"Master!" Juku called, standing stiffly with his arms glued to his sides. "I regret to inform you that I did not bring the baton!"

Budo looked up from inspecting his observation mat. "Did you forget it? That's unlike you."

"Sorry, Master! I could not find it!"

"And you waited until we got down to the gardens to say anything?"

"I could not find the right time to speak up!"

Budo sighed. "First of all, um, at ease. I'll try to find it; Sho will oversee sparring until I get back."

Juku visibly relaxed and gave Budo a thumbs up. "Thanks, bro!"

Budo rolled his eyes, but smiled at the underclassman before leaving the garden. He was glad to have unique disciples like Juku in his club, even if Juku's interest in martial arts was mainly for performance purposes.

As he made his way back to his clubroom, Budo noticed something unusual. One of the Sports Club members seemed to be arguing with the gang of delinquents that always hung out by the incinerator. As Budo got closer, he recognized him as Mantaro Sashimasu, one of the freshmen. He was challenging the delinquents? Even Budo never did that - he didn't like to fight with weapons, and the delinquents always carried theirs. The chance that they'd fight dirty was too high. If someone didn't intervene, the kid would end up in the infirmary... so Budo obviously had to step in.

"Hey!" Budo called once he got close enough. "Is there a problem here, gentlemen?"

The leader of the delinquents turned his full attention to Budo, glaring daggers all the while. "Lay off, Masuta. This ain't your business."

"I'll decide what my business is, thank you." He looked to Mantaro and raised his eyebrows in query.

"I heard them talking about beating up those gyaru girls! I can't allow them to hurt innocent people!"

"Is that so?" Budo asked, turning his attention back to the delinquents.

"'Course not. He's full of shit."

"He's lying!" Mantaro insisted. "I heard it clearly!"

"Look, the kid doesn't have proof, so both of you fuck off. Or else."

"Or else what?" Budo asked, drawing himself up to his full height. "You'll come at me with the stick on your back? Try it - see how it works out for you." Budo knew it would be a hard fight - hopefully the delinquent leader would buy his bluff.

After an intense staredown, he took the bait. "Fuck off, already. And take the kid with you. I'll forget any of this happened."

"I'm glad we could be reasonable. Sashimaru, let's go."

"But Masuta-"

"Why don't we chat a little bit?" Budo gestured away from the group, his eyes urging Mantaro to go along.

The underclassman sighed. "Sure." He quietly followed Budo to a bench far enough away from other students that no one would overhear their conversation. "Are you really going to side with them? If we don't do anything, those girls will-"

"They'll be fine. I'm going to report this to the student council's enforcer and volunteer the services of my club to make sure nothing happens to them. Depending on what she says, we may even involve the faculty. Threats like this shouldn't be taken lightly."

"You mean... you believe me?"

"Of course I do! You're an upstanding student, and they're a bunch of thugs."

"But... why didn't you back me up there?"

"Do you see those weapons they always carry? You and I were both unarmed, two against five. It wouldn't have ended well. Besides, violence should always be a last resort. It's better to go the official route; they're equipped to handle stuff like this."

Mantaro looked at Budo, his eyes practically shining. "Wow, Masuta. You were already super strong, but you're really smart, too. I didn't think of any of that..." Mantaro dropped his head at that last statement. "I was really stupid back there, wasn't I?"

"Not at all," Budo said reassuringly. "You stood up to them on behalf of those who couldn't. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, that's the sort of thing I admire most."

Mantaro looked back up at Budo. "Y-You do?"

"There's nothing in this world more admirable than a strong sense of justice! If you weren't already in the Sports Club, you'd be a prime candidate for the Martial Arts Club."

Mantaro blinked. "You really think so?"

"Yeah! You'd be a great fit!" Budo noticed the longing in his eyes. "May I ask why you joined the Sports Club to begin with?"

Mantaro avoided Budo's gaze, smiling sheepishly. "Well, the leader said it would be the best path to self-improvement, and I believed in him. He's not wrong - I'm stronger and faster and healthier than I've ever been, but I still feel like a twig next to the rest of the guys. But I don't want to give up. I'm going to become the best version of me that I can be, and I'm going to fight for justice!"

Something changed in Mantaro's gaze. He stared off into the horizon, but with a determined smile on his face. His eyes never wavered for a second. Budo realized how clearly Mantaro saw his dreams as a guaranteed future, and also his conviction to make it happen. Something stirred within him; an emotion he hadn't felt in a long time. He was reluctant to let it take root, but maybe he didn't have a choice. But he couldn't even begin to unpack that right now. Instead, he cleared his throat and clapped Mantaro on the back, oblivious to the air being knocked out of his chest by the impact. "I think that's about the best thing I've ever heard anyone say. Who would I be to ignore a resolution like that? No hard feelings for staying in the Sports Club, but if you ever need a hand, I'll be there. Maybe not as a club member, but definitely as a friend."

Once Mantaro recovered from Budo's slap, he looked at him. "Friends? Us? Really?"

"Yeah! Is it so strange for two men with matching ideals to forge a bond of friendship for the sake of those ideals?"

Mantaro laughed a bit at Budo's grandiose language. "No, it's just that... I've looked up to you for some time now, but I never thought a master like you would ever notice some random guy from another club."

Budo smiled, raising one eyebrow. "I guarantee you, even if I hadn't helped you today, I would have noticed you sooner or later."

"Really?"

"Definitely." Budo stood up. "I better get back to my club. I have yet to solve the case of the missing baton."

"Do you need help with that?"

"No, no, I'll be fine. It won't be hard to find; it's not like it fell through the floor or anything. But hit me up on Kaobook sometime and we can train together, alright?"

"Uh... okay!"

"Great! Talk to you then!"

As Budo jogged away, hiding the blush creeping up his neck, Mantaro realized that in his utter elation, he'd forgotten to mention that he didn't have a Kaobook account.
