How would the Hashiras react to Kagaya letting (reader) another demon become a demon slayer? They were treated by Tamayo and refuses to hurt humans.

Mitsuri

She treats you like she treats all the other hashira. She's kind and she treats you like a human. She knows that some of the hashira are probably giving you a hard time so she tries to be as kind and caring as possible towards you. She sees you as a human being and she considers you a close friend. However, she was shocked that the master let you fight as a hashira when you're a demon but she trusts the masters words and she believes that you won't hurt humans.

Shinobu (spoilers!)

She's a bit skeptical at first. She assumed you wouldn't be a hashira for long if you refused to eat humans but as she got to know you she started to get close to you and even call you a close friend. She opened up to you about her sister and talked to you about why she hated demons. She asked you if she could run some experiments on you so she could understand why you were able to survive without human blood. She trusts you with her life and she defends you whenever one of the other hashira give you a hard time.

Giyu

He doesn't really care. He doesn't have a reason to care honestly. If the master thinks you can be trusted then you can be trusted that was his only thought when you became a hashira. He avoided you like he did most of the other hashira but he didn't push you away and wasn't rude to you whenever you tried to talk to him. He found himself enjoying the small conversations he had with you and even started to think of you as a friend.

Obanai

He doesn't like you. He's cold and rude to you and insults you at any chance he gets. He doesn't think you should be a hashira and thinks you are nothing but a traitor whose going to snap one day and try and attack someone. You tried to reason with him but it didn't change his view on you. The only reason he didn't try and slay you himself was because the master forbid it. So he just keeps his distance from you but whenever you do interact he's rude and he insults you.

Sanemi

He doesn't like you. At all. He's worse than Obanai when it comes to talking to you. He's very open about how much he hates you and insults you whenever he can. He keeps his guard up around you because he thinks you are just pretending to not want to attack humans and he has threatened you multiple times. You knew he wouldn't actually try and slay you because of the masters orders but you tried making peace with him multiple times and while he kind of calmed down after you trying to make peace with him he still heavily dislikes you.

Tengen

A demon betraying their own kind to fight for humans? He thinks you are very flashy and he trusts that you won't hurt anyone. While he had his guard up around you at first he warmed up to you pretty quickly. He went on missions with you a lot and he introduced you to his wives. Makio was suspicious of you, Hina was skeptical but she was willing to give you a chance if Tengen trusted you and Suma thought you were cool and wanted to know more about you. You made fast friends with Suma and Hinatsuru but it took Makio a little longer to warm up to you.

Muichiro

He doesn't really care cause he knows he's going to forget about you. He forgot about you and when he saw a demon wearing a corps uniform he immediately pulled his sword out and started to question you. When you explained to him who you were he relaxed himself and apologized then continued on his way. He forced himself to remember that you weren't a threat so he could avoid hurting you. Even if you would heal yourself it would still be against the master's orders if he hurt you so he tried to talk to you frequently so he wouldn't forget you. And at first he only talked to you to avoid forgetting you but slowly started to talk to you because he genuinely enjoyed talking to you and spending time with you.

Kyojuro

At first, he wasn't the biggest fan of it. He did what the master told him to and treated you with respect and was friendly with you but that's about it. He understands why the master wants to try and have a demon on the corps side but he just can't see it working out. With all the corps members getting injured on missions and all the blood and stuff, you're bound to snap. He stopped thinking like this once he went on a mission with you. He got to know you and started to realize that your actually not that bad and he enjoyed the time he spent with you on the mission. But he still kept his distance from you.

Obanai:

Man is a silent sleeper prove me wrong

He is also extremely still so you'd prob think he is dead sometimes

He gets cold easily so in summer it would be fucking perfect but in winter...

He might cling to you in his sleep but that's a small chance of happening

I'm sorry but mans would move away from you and push you in his sleep

Overall 5.5/10 could be better but still very nice to sleep with

Mituri:

My baby

She snores a lil bit tbh but cutely somehow

Will cuddle you in your sleep no debate

Might accidentally punch and kick you in your sleep

If you're bigger/taller than her she will sleep on top of you

If you're smaller/shorter than her she will little spoon you, you have no say

10/10 would recommend if you love physical contact

Shinobu:

I personally she would be a fucking menace.

Prolly can't sleep so messes with you defo

She is a light sleep so don't move too much or she finna get annoyed with you

But if you ignore all of the she's actually a pretty good person to sleep with

Prolly snuggles up to you

But if you sweat in your sleep leave her the fuck alone she hates the moisture

She is smol so she likes being little spooned, but when she wants to feel confident big spoons you

She's a peaceful sleeper when she can finally sleep

A solid 4.5/10 would recommend if you're a deep sleeper if not I totally don't recommend

Giyuu:

Doesn't sleep

...

But when he does end up sleeping like a log

Cuddles you and blushes like a mess when you tell him about it in the morning

Likes to be little spooned simple

Doesn't really like heavy blankets so your just gonna have to suffice

He is cold.

So he loves you're warmth whether in the summer or winter

Prolly cling asf

8.5/10 would recommend

Sanemi:

how do I say this...

Don't sleep with him please he is an absolute menace

A kicker and a puncher no debate

A heavy and light sleeper so he'd switch between the both

He will take your blankets even if you get your own

Pushes you if try to get close while he's light sleeping

But he would wrap his arms and legs around you

Protective so holds you closely and tightly

Won't let you live

Danganronpa V3:

Kaede:

Baby I love her btw

Amazing cuddler

Comfortable body heat

Prolly switches between a light and heavy sleeper through the night

Holds you

Rests her head on your shoulder

Giyushino Couple Headcanons

-They both had crushes on each other for some time now and everyone knew it except for them because they’re oblivious.

-Due to the pain of watching them like each other but without knowing Tengen decided he would step in.

-Giyuu was the one that confessed first. But by the help of Tengen. As everyday Tengen would train him in to confessing. He would pretend to be Shinobu and let Giyuu practice on him.

-Shinobu helps Giyuu with expressing himself more and with his social life. She always listens to him and encourages him to talk with others. Giyuu helps Shinobu with her feelings. He always reassures her that it’s okay to feel unwell sometimes and that she shouldn’t put on a fake smile all the time.

-Giyuu loves physical affection. He loves to be hugged by Shinobu. It comforts him. Shinobu is clingy so it works for them.

-They tend to go train together sometimes and are both very competitive. They make a deal each time on whoever wins the loser has to treat the other for lunch

-They go to a lot of dates in restaurants. Giyuu always orders his favorite food, Simmered Salmon with daikon which makes him turn into an idiot. Shinobu always teases him for it.

-Giyuu loves it when Shinobu plays with his hair. It makes him fall asleep easy. Shinobu would sometimes put butterfly pins on his hair. She thinks he looks cute and adorable but it annoys him.

-Giyuu got a cat in their house as it’s the only animal that likes him. Shinobu isn’t very fond of animals, she’s scared of them. Giyuu knows this so once he put the cat on her lap and left her there freaking out.

-Whenever Shinobu makes fun of Giyuu he picks her up like a doll. It annoys her. Shinobu then pokes him to annoy him back.

-They love teasing and annoying each other but are always there for each other.

How they would react to you getting poisoned 🧪

Characters: Shinobu, Rengoku, and Gyōmei

Content Warnings: Being poisoned and needles. Possibly some light angst? I'm not fully sure. This may be a little out of character because it's been a long time since I last wrote fanfiction.

Gender-neutral reader ♥︎

Word Count: 1,670 words

How you were poisoned: You and Shinobi were fighting a demon together, and you got hit by the blood demon art. The demon art was purple petals that flew at you and then dissolved once touching your skin. At first, you thought nothing of it because it was only petals. As the two of you continue your fight, you began to feel a tingling and numbness all over your body. You started feeling frozen and clammy.

She was pissed, (she's the only one allowed to poison you jk) and, that demon is going to wish it wasn't born...

After killing the demon, she turned all her attention to you. Her mind racing with what happened, what poison it could be, and how to treat you. She’ll panic, cry, or whatever once you’re ok. She’s not going to lose you.

“Y/N you are going to be ok, please try to stay calm.” She says to you while picking you up to take you back to the butterfly manor.

Your hearing and sight were starting to dull, and you felt your heart racing. You wanted to talk, say something, scream, but your mouth felt full of lead.

The journey back to the manor was a tense one. You were trying to calm your breathing, but your anxiety was just increasing and increasing. You have never felt like this before. By the time you reached the manor, you couldn't even stand. You had lost all power in your legs.

“Y/N can you tell me what you’re feeling?” She said while poking you with a needle and drawing your blood.

She calmly told you what she was going to do and that you will be ok. You couldn't really hear her, only the weaker and weaker beating of your heart.

She was impressed by how long you were holding out. If her hunch was correct, you just got poisoned by one of the deadliest ones. She tried not to show it, but her hands were trembling at the thought of losing you.

“I’m going to give you a shot now. It should be able to help.”

You softly groaned as she injected you.

“Shinobu I'm scared.” You mustered saying, your voice sounding weak to your ears.

Her heart broke at the sound.

“It’s going to be ok. You’re going to be ok. Please try to take some deep breaths for me. Please.” With the last please, her voice cracked.

She was good at not crumbling under pressure, but this...this was unbearable for her. She couldn't lose you.

At first, the shot didn't have any effect, and you felt so exhausted that you didn't really feel scared anymore. You felt peaceful and accepting of your fate...

But then felt your heart begin beating faster and stronger. Your airways expanded and you could breathe deeply again..

“Shinobu...how did you do that?”

She smiled and cupped your face. “I know my poisons, and I’ll always be there to heal you.”

Rengoku Kyōjurō: 643 words

How you were poisoned: While fighting a demon solo you had paused to try and catch your breath. As you panted and tried once again to do total concentration breathing constant the demon turned to you. The demon art hit you as a white powdery substance, and the demon began to cackle. You coughed, but after a minute you powered through and decapitated the demon. You still felt the white powder on you.

When you stepped into the Rengoku family home, you had been weak on your feet. Your throat stung, and you felt incredibly agitated and anxious.

“Y/N! How was the fight with that demon?” Rengoku asked with a bright smile on his face. He was so happy that you came out unscathed!

You sent him a glare. Why you weren't sure, but you felt like biting his head off. Why was he so chipper?? Wait...why are you so annoyed? This is your partner and lover, the person you love, but at the same time, he was pissing you off. Then you began to feel pissed off that you were feeling pissed off because you didn't want to be pissed off!

“Love, what’s wrong?!” Rengoku asked coming up to you.

When Rengoku put a hand on his shoulder, he was surprised by the weird texture. He looked at his hand to see it covered in an almost translucent white powder. He stared at you with concern in his eyes. You hadn’t responded yet, and something was differently wrong.

“What happened during the fight?” He asked.

“The demon blew some sort of powder on me!” You practically yelled.

“A powder?” He exclaimed (the two of you don't know how to use inside voices.) You could practically see the cogs in his head turning.

He began to push you towards the bathroom. “You have to take a bath to rinse the powder off of you. I will dispose of your clothing!”

You wanted to complain, fuss, and more, but you felt your heart pounding in your ears. The anxiety bubbling in your chest.

“What do you think this is?” You asked as you began to take off your clothes. Powder fluttered to the ground, and Rengoku took a step back.

“Poison I’d guess! Though I don't know as much about it as Shinobu does!”

He stared at the powder on the ground. He felt anxious himself, as he wasn't really sure what to do, how does one treat poison? What kind of poison would this be? How much of it is already in your system?

“Stay here!” He said before hastily leaving while you sat preparing to rinse and clean yourself.

You sighed as you began scrubbing at the powder. You felt your body begining to burn hotter and your muscles aching. Your jaw and arms felt rigid, and you felt exhausted but restless.

Rengoku came back into the room. He was carrying a glass of water and a bag to put your dirty clothes in. With a gloved hand, he handed you the water. Then he scooped the clothes into the bag, making sure not to touch any powder.

“It is odd that the powder remained after you killed the demon.”

You hummed in response, not really wanting to talk. You weren't sure what you wanted to do. You wanted to sleep truthfully but felt like you couldn't. You took the glass of water and chugged it. While you were busy he left to let you bathe in peace.

The second you stepped out ,he practically pounced on you.

“Y/N! How are you feeling?” He practically shouted and you could hear the concern in his voice. In his arms, he had your favorite food.

“Please eat this food! I'm not sure how to make you feel better other than to wait it out. I want to do more. Please drink this water as well!”

Himejima Gyōmei: 534 words

How you were poisoned: While fighting a demon with Gyōmei, it splashed a liquid into your eyes. It was a strange and unnatural color. You had screamed and staggered back, falling to your knees. The world had become blurry, and you felt intense fear as you saw it looming over you. Before the demon could attack you, Gyōmei chopped off its head.

"Gyōmei. Gyōmei." You muttered anxiously trying to grab at him. "I can't see, it hurts, it hurts so badly." You began to furiously rub your eyes.

You felt like something was in your eyes, and you kept trying to force your eyes open as they kept closing.

"Y/N breathe for me. Breathe deeply. You have to calm yourself." Gyōmei calmly said while swooping you into his arms.

"Why is this happening?" You sobbed. Gyōmei stroked your hair and began to run. He knew that you had to rinse your eyes out before it was too late. Sobbing himself he held you close to his body repeating that you'll be ok.

He knew it would take too long to reach a house to rinse your eyes out in the sink. You'd have to rinse your eyes in a river. Gyōmei strained his ears for running water.

After minutes of running, he could finally hear it! Water. While he was running, you had been trying to take deep breaths and calm yourself. You felt anxious and panicked, but you knew that Gyōmei would help you.

He placed you gently on the riverside. "Dear, please lean your head forward, closer to the water." You mutely nodded.

You couldn't see the water, but you heard it rushing by. You forced your eyes open, staring blankly at blurry water. The stinging and pain in your eyes were almost unbearable.

Without warning, Gyōmei splashed water into your face. You gasped and recoiled.

"I'm sorry," he said, and you knew a flow of tears were streaming down his face. You both were crying. You felt his large hand comforting and rubbing your back.

You felt Gyōmei's hand sliding on your face close to your eyes. You felt his finger gently and gingerly pulling your eyelids up. You were startled despite how gentle he was, you hadn't even realized that your eyes were closed.

"Y/N, I will make sure you will be ok. I will always protect you. Nothing like this will happen to you again. I'm sorry I didn't protect you from this."

You wrapped a hand around his arm, you couldn't speak as he was still splashing water into your face. How long had it been? Minutes, hours, or days, felt like an eternity. You couldn't speak because of the almost constant splashing in your face.

After a few minutes, you tapped on his arm with your fingertips. "It's no longer burning."

The two of you sat back, exhausted from this ordeal. You felt Gyōmei's hands cupping your face, comforting and rubbing your face. You rubbed your eyes before opening them slowly. There in front of you was Gyōmei. You smiled gently and leaned into his big hands. "I can see you Gyōmei."

You watched as a smile appeared on his face and tears fall from his face.

I didn't want to write a whole long thing more just headcannons on what they'd do. I hope you enjoyed this! The symptoms were vaguely based on real poison symptoms.

demon slayer | tsuguko!y/n headcannons

I got inspired after reading some other stories and wanted to make some personal headcanons as to what y/n would be like as a tsuguko. Hope you all enjoy~

tw: gn!reader, mild cursing, Tengen acts like an older brother, Rengoku doesn't understand personal space, drunk!giyuu

Shinobu:

she actually approached you originally

you were good friends with the boys (tanjiro, zenitsu, inoske) and she wanted to take advantage of your energy

you were also really good friends of Kanao's anyways

while you were a demon slayer, you honestly hated front-line work

if you could, you'd be a kakushi

but that wasn't going to happen anytime soon

after getting the proposal of possibly becoming Shinobu's tsugoku, you declined

"Kanao deserves it more," you told her

Shinobu finally agreed but still took you under her wing in other ways

you left your position as a slayer and became an assistant at the Butterfly Mansion

You worked your ass off studying medicine and all of the different types of ways you could help your fallen comrades

Gyomei

you were there long before Genya

you honestly treated him like a little brother when he was taken on by Gyomei

you yourself had a larger build than most

taller too, almost as tall as Tengen

every day, you'd wake up just a little earlier than Gyomei and start your morning ritual

a hike around the training grounds

another lap, this time sprinting

practicing your total body concentration breathing

and then head back just in time to eat breakfast with your master

he would always go over the same things with you as you were eating together

"Did you sleep well?"

"Anything happens overnight?"

"Were you staying healthy?"

one time you said you felt down and he dedicated the rest of the day to just let you rest

he even brought his cats over for you and Genya to meet

you loved it

Mitsuri

every Friday you two cook together

a big part of her training is exercise so you two can stay flexible

so as a reward, every Friday, you two take over the kitchen in her estate and make a feast of treats

when it comes to training though, she's surprisingly ruthless

she also likes talking a lot

one minute, you two will be stretching and getting ready to start practicing breathing techniques

the next, you two will be talking about bees or something

she's weird like that but it keeps you on your toes

when you learn a new technique, she starts screaming like a little girl when she sees a pony

it's honestly really heart-warming

"I'm so proud of you Y/n!"

sometimes, you work overnight and end up getting drowsy the day after

Misturi's solution?

cold water

lots and lots of cold water

you hate it, but in her defense, it works incredibly well

Sanemi

when he originally scouted you out to be his tsugoku you were terrified

you had heard rumors of his ruthlessness when it came to training

and those were right

mostly

as you started, you were training the entire day

working as much as possible and really stretching your limits

you would be in bed by midnight and up by 5am

but then you started to see a change

your body started to adjust and you were able to train for longer with him

eventually, you two started to train less and compete more

each day would be a sparring match to see if you could beat him

most of the time you'd be knocked to your ass

others, you have to run, screaming that you were sorry for somehow winning

"It's not my fault!"

"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT-"

every now and then, he brings you by Genya to show you off

you always apologize to him and tell him he's doing great

Genya sometimes comes by and visits in secret

he actually taught you how to make Sanemi's favorite food

that little trick saved your ass numerous times

Rengoku

I'll say this now, he is one ruthless motherfucker

he's never been known to be a kind and easy master

most of the time, you'll spend the whole day practicing one move

"Sir, can we please stop for the day? I can't feel like legs."

"Just a little longer Y/n! You're almost there!"

"You said that 5 hours ago!"

he's very hands-on in training

most of the time he's either right next to you or just eclipsing you to show you how a move is done

safe to say, it gets you flustered quite easily

when you finally do get a break, you're immediately starting to fall asleep

one time, he had to hold you up and help you feed yourself you were so tired

but it does pay off

you got a six-pack in like a week

and your arms,

damn did they get swole

whenever the weather is too bad to train, you both head to his father's estate

the first time you went you stayed outside, not because of Rengoku's orders but because you had heard of what he was like from the other slayers

it was scary too, you heard something crash and you assumed the worst

the second time you went, you actually went inside

safe to say that Shinjuro wasn't the happiest

"Who the hell are you?"

"Y/n L/n, sir. I'm Rengoku's tsuguko."

Shinjuro sent you out of the room before he started screaming at his son

on the way back you talked about it with your master

"Is he always like that?"

"Not always, I'm just thankful he didn't harm you."

that made your heart skip a beat

you didn't realize how much Rengoku cared about you

Muichiro

most days you're just on your own

you don't exactly do much as his tsuguko as he's always distracted

he's also incredibly absentminded

sometimes you're training, but once you go off to do a task you're just entirely forgotten

it's honestly depressing

one time you snuck out to watch Sanemi's training and was brought back like a lost child

you got scolded by all the Hashira which made it even worse

"You really should listen to what your master tells you to."

"He doesn't tell me anything!"

"Don't talk back to me."

after this, Muichiro really had to pay attention to you

he gave you more tasks, more jobs, more techniques to practice, and eventually you were just above him in technique

after that it was just a bit of a waiting game for when he was hoping to retire

Tengen

the first day of training was spent seeing how flamboyant he could make you

I'm talking makeup, clothing, jewelry, he even gave you a vocabulary to pick up

his wives check in on you every now and then to make sure he's not being too much for you

Hina makes you snacks

Suma and you do stretches together

and you go shopping with Makio

Tengen trains for 5 hours a day with you on the art of the sword

after that, it's another 5 hours of breathing techniques and perfecting sound breathing

finally, afterward is other stuff like learning about different weapons, situation training, heightening your senses

one day you two started poison immunity

you were out for weeks after trying to impress him and start off with a large amount

every now and then, you'll see him be more familiar with you

he'll treat you like his own child which, while yes it's weird sometimes, you personally find really endearing

one every month or so he'll take you to sit in on a Hashira meeting

the first time, you felt so out of place, but afterward, the other pillars started to get excited about your arrival

they'd make a whole day of it

you'd get through the meeting

you and Sanemi would spar

Shinobu and Mitsuri would both give you a sort of "check-up"

Rengoku, Giyuu, and you would all practice agility training

Muichiro and you would discuss upcoming events and recent gossip

as Tomioka wandered back to a crowd of laughing Hashira, you and your friends all started celebrating

the next day, you showed up at his door and he had just finished washing up

after that, he realized he actually had work to do

every day, he trained with you from sunrise till sunset

every minute was spent either practicing with your sword, your breathing, your art style, or your stamina

it actually went surprisingly well

and now, every summer solstice, you and Tomioka come into the celebration to flaunt your skills

Obanai

originally, he took you on because you weren't afraid of Kaburamaru, his pet snake

he asked to watch you fight with one of your fellow slayers and after seeing your potential he agreed to take you on

he was merciless

every day you would be forcefully woken up, eat a quick breakfast, and get straight to training

rain or shine, storm or snow, you would be out there, regretting your life choices and swinging your katana

as you learned more about serpent breathing, you couldn't help but be curious about your master

"Why do you always wear a mask?"

"What's the deal with your eyes?"

"Do you like Mitsuri?"

"Wh-what? No, I don't!"

"Sure."

with your progression going well, one time, he took you to have you evaluated by the master

and by god was he mean that day

he even invited the other male Hashira to show them how brilliant of a tsuguko you were

but alas

"Obanai, you should really lessen the amount of work you're making them do. Y/n tells me they're barely getting any sleep."

the other Hashira's laughing was enough to know you'd be getting scolded

Genuinely scared when he saw you crying. He didn't know what to do. The only thing he could think of doing was telling jokes until you cheered up, that's what helped him calm down his brother!

If that doesn't work he’ll ask you if you'd prefer to be alone, not wanting to upset you more.

If you ask to be left alone:

When you tell him he’ll walk out of the room, standing outside to make sure nobody bothers you.

He feels bad that all he can do is stand outside of the room while you cry to yourself but he'd rather not make things worse.

Kyojuro will wait until you come out on your own and won't speak much of it, unless you want to

He goes about the rest of the day normally but he’ll be a bit easier on you, although he doesn't baby you. He’d just rather not have something upsetting you again

If you allow him to stay:

He'll ask what happened and why you're crying but will respect your decision if you decide not to.

If you decide to talk about it he’ll listen, wishing to help you calm down. He believes that communication is key and that the only way to get through a problem is to talk through it.

He's always willing to be your shoulder to cry on if you ever need to.

If you don't want to talk about it hell leave it at that, asking if you'd like to do something to get your mind off of it. Such as playing a game or going on a walk.

When she accidentally walks in on you crying she quickly closes the door and runs over to you worried.

Mitsuri would hug you and ask why you’re crying while cupping your face, wiping the tears from your eyes with a worried look on her face.

If you ask for your personal space she’ll back off and sit next to you apologizing for her behavior.

If you're willing to talk about it she’ll listen to you no matter what, sitting there quietly while you open up to her about your problems.

She’ll only say something if you ask he a question, not wanting you to get overwhelmed or even more upset.

Once you're done she’ll ask if you want a hug and if not that's fine too!

She’ll do anything in her power to cheer you up.

He’s ready to murder whoever made you cry. It doesn’t matter who it was, whoever decided to make one of his friends upset is either stupid or has a death wish.

Tengen refuses to leave you alone in this state.

He may come off as blunt and a bit of an ass but he's trying his best to comfort you, choosing his words carefully to not make this situation worse.

This man has experience comforting people because of his wives.

If you wish he’ll give you a hug, burying your face in his chest, and you can decide whether you want to talk about anything or not.

If not he’ll just sit beside you and wait for you to stop crying, stating that it was “unflashy” and that you shouldn't be crying.

He tried his best and his best isn't that good.

Upon seeing you crying she’ll get everything you need to calm down, whether that be tea, snacks, blankets, etc.

She will also get you medicine for your headache since you were crying so much.

Shinobu never raises her voice higher than a whisper to avoid upsetting you.

If you want to be alone she will leave and stand outside of the door not wanting to get too far in case you need her.

If you’d rather her stay she will gladly tell stay and sit next to you and talk things out. She's a great listener and won't miss even a small bit of information you tell her, only adding on when you ask her to.

If you don't want to talk about it she’ll respect your decision and simply take your hand and suggest a few things you could do to get your mind off of it until you're ready.

A/N... this is modern au!

✧ thoma.

i feel like thoma would actually have a really messy room, despite being the best cleaner known to man. with him being so busy polishing the floors of the kamisato mansion until they practically shine - not to mention the countless chores and errands he runs - it's almost impossible for him to catch his breath, leaving him absolutely exhausted by the time he throws himself onto his bed. it's almost ironic how he has cleaning supplies neatly lined up on his dressing cabinet collecting dust.

furthermore, a problem arises. thoma isn't the type to be able to say "no", therefore i think he'd probably end up with people coming over to his apartment. his more-than-messy bedroom, along with almost every other area of the apartment, means he and his visitor(s) are confined to the kitchen and living room, which - unfortunately - are not separated.

however, it could also be the complete opposite. with thoma having speedily completed all of the "assignments" set for him that day, he may find himself roaming the streets with nothing to do. after running around the city day after day, nothing seems new to him anymore, causing him to resort to cleaning his apartment searching for some form of entertainment.

✧ tighnari.

now, obviously, tighnari would have a lot of plants throughout his house, whether they're sat in pots upon the windowsill, or hanging precariously from the ceiling by a few strings. however, despite the countless amounts of greenery, his small home is perfectly clean; not a fallen leaf in sight. a stray petal spotted by him has no chance of survival, and would immediately be thrown into the composter along with any other scraps he finds.

he would also have a large garden surrounding his cottage-like house, with an abundance of greenery including trees, countless breeds of flowers, and even his own little veggie patch that he uses to grow not only vegetables, but herbs too.

towards the back would be a greenhouse, full to the brim of exotic and rare plant breeds which he often buys abroad. he keeps them there to study them, refusing to use the internet for information and relying purely on his own knowledge and the countless books he has in his basement-library. the amount of books he owns is so great, he would have to stack them besides the "library" door, leaving his home looking quite messy, but he doesn't seem to mind; he's a strong believer in "organised mess".

✧ venti.

i don't know if this is slightly random or strange, but in my mind, i think venti would make an excellent weather broadcaster; he has a strong passion with the wind, as well as a somewhat special connection, and so i think it's actually quite fitting.

in his room would be covered in charts, showing different areas of the world and little diagrams along with them of weather tendencies, levels of rainfail, and more; it wouldn't be much of a surprise to see multiple globes in his home either. despite not actually providing the information, venti wooul still enjoy studying the topics he speaks about, explaining the stacks of factual documents on his desk, facing the window of course so he can gaze out of the window and observe the beauty of mother nature's sky whenever he pleases.

in the far corner of his room, the spot in which the sun shines in the late afternoon, is a stool, his lyre sitting atop it. though it is an uncommon instrument to play, venti is more than just passionate about it's beautiful melodies, the way the strings vibrate to the perfect pitch every time, blessing the ears of those who walked by his window.

✧ diluc.

even in the real world, diluc still has a passion for the art of brewery, this hobby being so apparent that he would have his own "bar" in the basement of his home. he would have loved to take his love for brewery even further and turn it into his job, but in order to help provide for his family, including his partner, 2 children, and 3 cats, he needed a better paying job than a barista, and so ended up with an office job. as boring as it may be, he truly believes it's worth it.

his family's home would be of an average size, small enough to be homely, large enough to be comfortable. the kids would have their own rooms, though they wouldn't be massive. he and his partner would share a bedroom, as well as a bed, which would always be kept tidy by his obsessive nature for cleanliness and organisation, though a little clutter won't bother him.

i think it would be quite a basic home, what you'd expect for a modern day family, though there would be little relics spotted around the house, usually framed or kept in protective glass cases, that he'd taken an interest in over the years.

✧✧ itto. (+shinobu)

itto would 100% be a drummer. don't even ask me why, he just is. he would have quite a worn drumkit in the corner of his bedroom, which somehow withstands his passionate beatings for hours on end (put your dirty mind away); proving him to be not only a professional drummer, but also a professional upstairs neighbour, or just neighbour in general. practically all the apartment building can feel the vibrations of his rhythmic drumming, none of the inhabitants necessarily enjoying his musical outbursts.

his love for beetles still carries through to the real world, as well as his passion for the strength of geo. these likes of his are represented throughout his apartment, with beetles molded from stone scattered as decorations; the sizes, colours, and shapes ranging massively. he often volunteers at the local scouts club during the summer to take the children into the forest and (attempt to) catch bugs together.

shinobu, arguably his closest friend, shares the apartment with him, as well as the interest in music. her room is on the other side of the apartment, containing a wall dedicated to guitars (electric and acoustic) and basses. it isn't rare for the two of them to have recording sessions together; they are in a band together, after all.

Shinobu

It had taken her a while to get over your death. She was just starting to get over your death when she met one of the new demon slayers that had just joined about a week ago. She looked exactly like you and it just made Shinobu upset. She was fighting back tears as she talked to the new corps member. She feels bad about this but tries to stay away from her as much as possible. She looked like you and had the same personality and everything, which wasn't helping her grieve. She would talk to the new member only when she had to and made the conversations as short as possible.

Obanai

He was shocked when he saw the new Hashira. A young woman who looked exactly like his late girlfriend. When she introduced herself to him he just stood there in shock looking at her. "Is something wrong?" she asked. "No..you just look like someone I know.." He said walking away. He couldn't find the words to explain how he felt about the new hashira. Obanai took a while to get over your death and he just felt weird seeing someone who looked like you. He tries to avoid her as much as possible until he figures out how he feels about her.

Giyu

While he didn't show it. Your death affected him and he missed you dearly. So when he saved a woman from a demon attack that looked exactly like you he had to fight back tears as he tended to the woman's wounds. The wounds this woman had were similar to the wounds that killed you. "Why could I save that woman but I couldn't save y/n?" Giyu thought to himself. The whole interaction just made him feel worse about your death.

here’s a villain shinobu x reader thing

she touched her nose, bringing her hand down after to stare at the blood that now stained her skin. she blinked in confusion before bringing her eyes up slowly to meet yours. you were silent, only your heavy breaths filling the air. your hand fell to your side, aching slightly from the impact of striking her face. she stood there, staring at you. her eyes reflected that of confusion, before twisting to that of betrayal. her actions disgusted you, made you sick to your stomach.

“you’re one fucked up person, Kocho” you spat, your hands shaking with anger as a scowl makes it way onto your face.

she stared back at you, her eyes narrowing before she motioned around to the chaos around you.

“all of this, was for you. i’m doing this, for you. everything i did, was for you…” she said, her voice shaking ever so slightly.

she reaches out towards you, only to have her hand swatted away. she stared at her smacked hand, the blood dripping from her nose reaching her mouth. her eyes slowly moved to look back up at you. her mind raced, shifting between anger and sadness, betrayal and fear, and confusion and heartbreak. she closed her eyes, letting out a deep breath as she stands up straight. she slowly opens her eyes and stares you down, a new fire appearing.

“okay” she says in a low, dark tone.

she turns on her heel and walks away, leaving them standing there, speechless.

She had her eye on you the moment her feet hit the stage. The same eyes you found to be utterly mesmerizing, a deep shade of amethyst that seems to sparkle like the crystal itself when she was under the spotlight. You did this because you loved her music, you adored the woman before you on stage, but you couldn’t stand the crowds. It wasn’t until entering the venue that you realized you may be in over your head, pushing the limits of your social anxiety to the absolute edge. Your friends assured you everything would be fine.

They were, unfortunately but not surprisingly, wrong.

The group behind you was far too rowdy, they hadn’t shut up once during her entire show and you were beginning to reach your breaking point when you were shoved harshly into the barricade for the tenth time. If it weren’t for the fact that Shinobu herself was less than five feet away from you on that stage, you probably would have given up and left. Maybe you were imagining it, but you could have sworn she kept glancing your way. That was the other thing keeping you glued to the floor…

A loud shriek sounded behind you as the singer made her way towards you again, your hands instinctively reaching to cover your ears. Your friend shot a glare behind you, the girl who had shrieked didn’t even notice. You felt tears burn your eyes, if it weren’t for the damn group behind you, you were sure you’d have had a way better experience. “I think we need to leave.” It pained you to choke out, especially knowing full and well the girls behind you would be happy to steal your place. Yet another shove was tugging at your final straw.

“Y/n… the concert is almost done. Don’t let them ruin this for you.” They made sure to direct part of that statement to the clueless group. They were right, you could tough it out a little longer, for Shinobu you were certain you could. You finally focused back up at the stage, heart skipping when you realized the woman was standing directly in front of you, a sweet smile on her face as your eyes locked.

Now you knew you weren’t imagining it, Shinobu, the Shinobu, was smiling at you. She never faltered as she continued to sing, a softer song from her discography, one of your favorites honestly. Her voice was steady as she moved into a crouching position, your heart leaping to your throat as you realized she was singing to you. The crowd around you seemed to silence as her hand reached out.

As the song reached a prolonged stretch of instrumental, she pulled the mic away from her lips. “Take my hand.” She spoke loud enough for you to hear, loud enough to stun the group behind you into blissful silence. You swallowed, heart rate spiking as you reached out a shaking hand. A guard caught on to what she was looking to do, rushing over to assist you across the barricade so you could properly take her hand in yours.

You could barely breathe, ears ringing loudly as Shinobu held onto you tightly. Your legs felt like jello, as if she tugged you any further you may make a fool of yourself by collapsing then and there. The song picked up again as she guided you back to the center of the stage, she sang effortlessly while staring at you as if you were the only person in that whole arena.

You could feel your embarrassment flooding your face all the way to the tips of your ears. Shinobu pulled you a little closer, her eyes remaining on yours as she began to sing the bridge, a soft yet playful squeeze of your hand nearly made your heart fly through your chest. You wanted to say so much to her, yet everything was caught in your throat. It’s not as if you could interrupt her anyways.

You’d just have to cherish these few, fleeting minutes.

You couldn’t tell how loud the crowd had gotten, your mind was tuning everyone and everything that wasn’t the woman before you, out. The last minute of the song seemed to last an eternity, much to your shock it was the dimming of the stage lights that snapped you back to your unimaginable reality. Shinobu was guiding you off stage with her, tossing the mic to someone as she pulled you away.

“I saw how uncomfortable that group was making you, I’m so sorry if they ruined your night.” Shinobu was talking to you, she was actually talking to you. “O-oh it’s a-alright you don’t n-need to ap-apologize.” You couldn’t even form a steady sentence, you were far too starstruck. “You’re cute.” Her soft laugh was enough to make you feel weak in the knees. “But no really, I hope they didn’t ruin your night. Could I maybe… get your name?”

The roles seemed to reverse as a small blush spread across the singer’s cheeks. “M-my name is y/n.” You realized your hand was still snuggly wrapped around hers. “Well, y/n. I know these last few minutes have probably been a whirlwind for you. So I’d like to give you this.” The item in question was a back stage pass. “You’ll wait for me, yeah?” Reluctantly, she let go of your hand. The brief break between songs was nearly over.

You nodded, uttering some sort of reassurance that you’d still be here when the show was over as she ran back over. You could hear the crowd roar as she reappeared, your feet moving on their own accord as you went to watch the rest of her show from a different angle. “To the friends of y/n…” you held in a gasp as she uttered turn name to a whole arena. “They are safe with me, I’ll see that they make it home before the sun rises.”

Her implications made your head spin, the crowd roaring to life just as the next song started. Shinobu’s laughter flowed freely through the mic, head turning to meet yours as she shot you a wink. Your arms wrapped around yourself protectively, a giddy grin creeping up your cheeks now that you could finally enjoy the show. Somewhere in the back of your mind you realized you had the rowdy group behind you to thank for getting Shinobu’s attention on you.

Shinobu

You had just arrived to the Butterfly Estate after fighting with a demon. Safe to say, you looked terrible. Your arm was covered in blood, your hair was all matted from running around, and your knees looked like they were in a fire. Even worse, everybody in the medical ward had spread rumors about what had happened to you.

"I hear she got attacked by a bear."

"Well I hear she almost fell down a hill."

"I hear she faced off with Muzan!"

By the mid afternoon, all you wanted was to be left alone, so once the sun finally set, you were finally given a chance to sleep. However, your work wasn't done just yet.

"Hello there, you're y/n-chan, right?" You heard a voice coo. You drowsily opened your eyes to see a little ravenette with big, beautiful purple eyes. She was wearing a gorgeous haori, one that looked like a butterfly, even the ornament in her hair was insect-themed. And then you fully woke up.

"Y-you're the insect hashira!"

"Aww, I'm so sorry if I startled you, were you dreaming?"

Dreaming of you, you wanted to say but decided against it. Instead, you nodded and slowly sat up. Shinobu explained that she needed to give you some medicine, you obviously agreed. The two of you talked as she took out a long needle and inserted it into your arm.

"You should try to excersize that arm for a few minutes, or else you'll feel terrible tomorrow. Can't have a beautiful slayer like yourself feeling down."

Gyomei

You were one of the village girls, unimportant, not special, just some daughter to a dead father. For the past few years, you had worked at a wisteria mansion. Apparently, that meant something special to a lot of people. Every day you had to clean the floors, sweep the steps and pathways, polish the cutlery and plates, and be ready at any moment for a 'warrior with a katana at their side'. You had originally shrugged it off, just thinking your boss was delusional. But one day that all changed.

"Misses Kameko! There's a talking crow at the gates!" You shouted as you held a broom up trying to shoo this strange, winged, whats-it-fuck off of the gate. Suddenly, you heard your boss walk out in her best kimono.

"Y/n-chan, open the gates. We have a guest."

"Since when do we have gates?"

"Just open them, girl." Mrs.Kameko said sternly.

You had no choice and opened only to see a massive man, he couldn't have been taller than seven feet. Not to mention but he was absolutely covered in blood. He looked like shit.

"Welcome to my mansion, demon slayer. Please make yourself at home, y/n here will help you around the mansion." Kameko said as you continued to stare in awe at the 'demon slayer' in front of you.

His eyes, upon closer inspection, were a eerie, mirky white with tears running down them. He smiled at y/n as she finally zoned back in and bowed, an embarrassed blush had spread across her face.

"I-i'm so sorry, let me take you to your room."

"There's no need to apologize, child, you've done no wrong."

As you led him to his room, he told you about his battle. He spoke of a demon with the body of a carp and how it had been terrorizing a nearby fishing village. As you helped him sit, you finally began to take in his injuries.

"Do I have your permission to uhm- remove your shirt?"

"Yes, thank you for asking."

The stone hashira chuckled as your carefully removed his shirt and began to ask him all sorts of questions. Where was he from? What was his job? Was he single? The last question actually made him laugh.

"I am known to lead a life of purity, however, a beautiful voice like yours might just be nice to go home to, y/n."

Tengen.

After months and months of training, fighting, and finding the strength to take out a lower moon in order to save your comrades, you had received news of your newly appointed hashira-ship, however, you wanted the exact opposite of that. You hated talking to others and were actually hoping to leave the corps soon due to constant stress and the nightmares that followed with your job.

As a new hashira, you had no choice but to meet all of the others at your first meeting. You were met by the usual stares, compliments, theaters from Sanemi, and even words of encouragement from Rengoku. You were thankful for Ubuyashiki to make everyone quiet.

"My children, as you know we have a new member joining your ranks. I would like you to meet Y/n L/n, the Wisteria Hashira."

You could hear Sanemi groan as you received your introduction. As the master went on, you couldn't help but feel a pair of beautiful fuchsia eyes on you. You looked over but the culprit had turned their head too fast. Strange, you thought, I wonder who it was.

By the time the meeting finished, you were already plotting ways of explaining to the master how you could leave, however, a tall glass of water had stepped into your way.

"So, you're L/n, huh?" He said almost as if he were superior to you.

"No, I'm the sun goddess." You shot back making him raise his eyebrows.

"You should know better than to talk back to me, I've been here longer-" You snapped and drew your katana, however, he was faster.

A loud clang rang out through the gardens as the Hashira all whipped their heads around and watched you two battle for an unspoken dominance. Tengen grinned, and surprisingly, you couldn't help but do the same. Maybe this whole Hashira thing wasn't that bad.

i feel like tengen would be able to deal with your zoning out and stuff pretty well… i have a feeling Suma zones out a lot as well plus he is friends with Rengoku and all the other pillars so ya’know he kinda deals with their different personalities all the time

whenever you’re talking to him you tend to fidget with your top or something random you had gotten from the house or outside to help you concentrate, tengen noticed this when you first got married and joined everyone but he didn’t wanna bring it up just incase you got insecure and tried to pretend to be “normal”

with being cut off during conversations he kinda gets a tad bit annoyed because he does have four wives now with different personalities and a lot to say, but he never really gets upset with you, suma, makio or hinatsuru if one of you ever cut him or each other off. he just listens to what one of you have to say then go back to whatever he was saying or whatever one of you guys were saying, he’s very patient when it comes to you four to be honest

your relationship is pretty open and there’s a lot of communication so if you’re getting distracted or even bored with a certain topic you kinda just say that whenever it’s your turn to speak or something, then you talk about something else or do whatever you want in another room

makio tends to get very upset with the cutting off people thing, Suma doesn’t really care because she does the exact same thing (it’s giving adhd 😀👍🏾), hinatsuru is very calm and willing to listen to whatever any of you guys have to say. she’s a very patient person and doesn’t really get upset and tengen has learned to deal with each of your personalities over time so depending on which one you are he’ll either give back that energy (makio🗿) or be patient.

Mitsuri K.

congratulations, you’ve found your perfect match 👁👄👁👍🏾 how’s it feel?

Mitsuri gives off a lot of zoning out, can’t concentrate and getting distracted very quickly energy so ya’know perfect fucking match made in heaven by god himself. he can get distracted by a lot of things very easily she just tries not to during pillar meetings so she doesn’t get yelled at by Tengen 😔

if you cut her off in the middle of a conversation she doesn’t mind at all honestly! she probably does the same thing too so y’all have 5 minute conversations about one thing then “OH as i was saying earlier about that cat!” or “WAIT i just remembered! did you do that thing” every five minutes i kid you not half of your conversations are forgotten because you guys just keep piling different topics onto each other

as for the fidgeting thing she doesn’t do that but whenever you do and you don’t have anything to fidget with she gives you her hand to mess with. she does really mind so be honest and it happens so much that it’s so normal so her

if she starts seeing you get more insecure about this and trying to “mask” your personality with another one that isn’t like you she’d be so sad…. she loves how you are normally. one thing she hates is whenever you get overly insecure and stop talking around others

she helps you with being more confident about yourself personality wise. she thinks it’s a big deal if you’re confident in the person you truly are instead of trying to fake it for others approval

Shinobu K.

you and shinobu are both similar and different in a lot of ways… she zones out, gets distracted and even unintentionally interrupts people that isn’t Tomioka (she does that intentionally). she may not zone out as much as you do but she does get distracted a lot.

if you can’t concentrate on something she always offers help or even suggests you take a break from whatever you can’t concentrate on and work on it later. whenever she helps you she kinda just sits with you and gets you back on track, even grabbing you a snack because she says a small snack could help with focusing again and it does :)

Obanai I.

complete opposites 😀 he is very calm and stuff while you aren’t a lot of the time. you also zone out alot which reminds him of Muichiro because of how often you do it. you also get distracted mid conversation and kinda just stop listening to what he’s saying and go to do something else, he gets hella offended by the way but never tells you that

there was one time someone said something negative about your personality and how you unintentionally interrupt others and you got insecure and started trying to change yourself. Obanai was fucking livid… he hated how someone made you insecure for being you. he loves the person you are, even though you zoning out or something does get a little frustrating it’s who you are and he wouldn’t trade your personality for the world… imma just say that person got an ear full 😁

if you fidget a lot or can’t really stay still he lets you hold Kaburamaru if you need something to help you. the snake actually really loved you btw and it normally doesn’t like a lot of people but you’re the only one he allows, congratulations — the snake has claimed you as second person

you both are so similar in the cutting people off and zoning out that it’s like you both were made for each other. though he doesn’t fidget or get distracted easily he does like to learn more so please! do tell him more! he will listen very carefully and will definitely do research on how to help

if you zone out mid conversation he will simply just sit and wait until you come back so he can continue the conversation with you again. this man had an incredible amount of patience when it comes to you, his fellow hashira are always so amazed on how he can sit and wait for minutes for you to snap back and remember what he was saying. i feel like while he’s waiting he kinda thinks of what to say ans even what to bring up about the conversation

if you are getting bored with a subject you always tell him so that he can change it to whatever you’d like and continue the conversation that was being had earlier later. he also does the same with you as well. just like with Tengen your relationship is very open and there’s alot of communication, so there is nothing that is hidden from one another unless it’s a present or something
