Already answered that here. I'll add this tho: I'm kinda picky when it comes to Steve's characterization while getting dicked down, because sometimes it feels like he loses some of his personality.

8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about

I hate how fandom treats Fury as an antagonist who exists just to exploit the heroes or steal their secrets and create "tension". Idk if it's still a trend, but I remember a ton of fics where Fury was either preying on Tony's tech, so it was okay to bash him, or he was manipulating Steve, uncaring of how depressed he was.

Such a lazy plot device. And also a disservice to the guy who actually wanted the Avengers to be a thing, and the one who had a connection to Steve well before any of the other Avengers. (and lol Steve and Fury obviously respect one another, they even banter together but god forbid Steve has any type of relationship with a non-white man)

10. worst part of fanon

Already answered that here, but ugh, I also hate the way fans treat Sam. Glad as I am that he seems a little more popular now since his show came out, because he has a more substantial relationship with fandom's favorite white boy I can't forget the days when Sam was always suspiciously missing from art and fics even though he and Steve always ended up side by side at the end of all the movies they were in. Or, when people used his and Steve's line for uh... other characters. I see all and remember all.

You know, for a fandom that loves to complain about Steve's ending being ooc and would rather imagine him stuck somewhere in time, why not take full advantage and imagine him time-hopping to your favorite events. Are you a fan of dinosaurs? Have him befriend a scary t-Rex (which uh... kinda canon in the comics?) You like Ancient Egypt? Have him take a bath in the Nile while the Pharaoh has a cartoon-esque reaction to the water glistening off his body! You like the Plague? Have him... beg everyone to please wash themselves?

(these are rhetorical questions, I know why fandom doesn't, but still)

I would also take more Avengers 2.0 content. Or even better, SteveSamNat on the run after cacw, I'm not picky 😉

22. your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores

This is probably really obscure, but I love those little glimpses of a relationship between Rhodey and Nebula in Endgame. Like when she warns him about Scott being on the compound, and she calls him Rhodey. Not War Machine, Rhodey. And then they have that nice moment during the time heist together. Idk, it makes me wonder what kind of relationship (even if it is just friends!) they might have developed between IW and EG. Plus, I think they deserve a little bit of happiness.

If I was in their place I would have introduced Sarah Rogers in the MCU, gave nomad Steve more screen time, explored the SteveSharon dynamic and treated both of them better, made Captain America: The Serpant Society the third movie in the Cap triology instead of that shit show called cIViL WaR and would have gave the fans the SteveSamNat: on the run show like they fucking deserve. I guess, another thing I really like and don't really see much of is how the Avengers are perceived by the public/their relationship with the media🤔

Take the Welcome Back, Cap exhibition at the Smithsonian. Loved the idea, but it raises so many questions, I can't help but wish there was more. Was he ever consulted, did he say something at the inauguration? How did he feel about it?

Also, if he agreed to film those silly videos for high school kids, I feel like doing a big serious interview wouldn't be so far off the realm of possibility.

(That, and I just like to imagine Steve giving his first interview to Colbert and then Stephen boasting about it every time Steve is mentioned in the news. It probably even becomes a bit where he just ends up sighing )

And then what about the fall of Shield, Steve disappearing after the Accords!! We never see it, but I wonder how Steve becoming a fugitive would influence Cap's public opinion.

God imagine all the slander. Rhodey rolling his eyes at the TV, Vision not understanding why they're telling such obvious lies. Tony just leaving the room.

I like to think that the public opinion wouldn't turn on Steve so easily, but who knows.

(But also, imagine Stephen's crush, which has gotten even worse by the time Steve becomes a fugitive)

Also!! Ever since Ms Marvel, I do wonder how much the general public knows about the final battle, and if they know Steve wielded Mjolnir...

I know it's not something that can generate tons of fics, but I like third povs and reactions, so it's something I'd like to see more of.

Idk, I feel that the post AoU Avengers roster lent itself to the whole "Avengers living together", considering they did actually live together, but there is hardly any content.

I've never understood why people assume they just crashed at T'challa's and never left, but I really wish more people got behind the idea of those three going on an honeymoon adventure for like, a year and a half. It would also be a fun to imagine them accidentally running into Yelena &Nat's family (Steve and Sam gotta meet the in laws sooner or later).

i had an idea ages ago (pre endgame) that i wanted to do a gifset series of the cap squad in every movie but like each dynamic since they didn’t actually GIVE us the full cap squad ever (fuck you marvel) so a gifset for stevebucky, stevesam, samnat, stevesamnat, etc in every movie but then with endgame i was like well there was some Okay stevenat content and for stevesam i could only tolerate giffing when steve hears sam on the comms and sam comes flying in (sure as shit not the shield scene old steve is ugly and gross) and for stevebucky very specifically the “you’re taking all the stupid with you” bit because everything else is awful, the “it’s gonna be okay, buck” line, the hug, it’s all ugly!

and then i was just like.......this movie is so lacking in ANY of the good cap squad content, even for stevenat, so why not just exclude it entirely whenever i get around to making the series since it’s not like i accept any part of that movie as canon anyway

okay so I don't know how well Busch Gardens is known outside Tampa-area Florida, but they are a theme park with a Halloween event going on. they also have a drop tower ride called Falcon's Fury, and I keep passing Howl-O-Scream billboards with the tagline 'dive in the dark on Falcon's Fury' on them.

guess where my brain runs with this. unfortunately, i am scared of heights and also the whole world, so I would never go on this ride or to Howl-O-Scream.

but if someone who's done this or wants to do the research sees this and wants to write me Sam, Steve, and Natasha taking a break from their epic Bucky search to go to Howl-O-Scream? I would love them a little.

Like the last interaction between the two I can recall is when they're watching Rhodey from a hospital window and Tony is kinda stunned/upset that Vision made a mistake he wasnt supposed to since he's a machine, so like, does he even see him as a person? Certainly doesn't seem so. Or well, he doesn't see him the way Wanda does (I dont mean romantically, rather just... like a living thing?)

And then we have that exchange with Bruce where he tells him he can't find him, but Steve can? Which lol doesnt exactly mean that Tony doesn't care about Vision as much as Vision doesn't want to be found by Tony and THAT says a lot.

In any case yes, following his creation Tony hasn't really been involved with Vision (I guess they preferred the real boy father-son dynamic with Peter🤢) so idk if he'd even care to give him a human burial
