Jessica Drew's career like:
Trained to be a spy/assassin. Does not like. Quits being a spy/assassin.
Can't find work! Steals food to live
Decides to do sketchy free trial therapy because no money & does not know why people hate her. Gets a receptionist job there. Bad at being receptionist - no experience, no suitable skills, often late because of secret superhero vigilante hobby. New boss fires her after old boss fails to kill her.
Bounty hunter time! Does not like. Quits being a bounty hunter.
Becomes a Private Investigator. Then moves to Madripoor. Can't pay bills. Quits being a P.I.
Bodyguard time! Due to being beaten almost to death by a giant robot, quits being a bodyguard.
Back to being a P.I.
Gets roped into unpaid mentorship of teen superhero. Immediately attached. Now also unpaid bodyguard.
Unspecified point in time: gives into constant S.H.I.E.L.D. recruitment. Still hates being a spy. Quits.
Back to P.I.-ing!
Joins Heroes for Hire immediately before they get defunded.
Back to P.I.-ing!
Due to Hydra knocking on her door, rejoins S.H.I.E.L.D. but really only works for Fury - who isn't even S.H.I.E.L.D. affiliated anymore. Considered traitor. Very stressful :(
Gets replaced by Skrull Queen Veranke. Skrull Queen Veranke now in charge of careeer choices. Joins Avengers.
Jessica Drew back in own life. Not happy with career move 😕 Sticks with it for awhile though. Mostly because of fondness for Carol & Logan & Natasha.
Being an Avenger too stressful 😞 Quits being an Avenger
Back to P.I.-ing!
