Get struck by lightning 100% bc like yeah both you can easily die from but when you deal with a mudslide it's a continuous disaster that you could slowly die from but with lighting you get struck, probably feel terrible pain, but then you (hopefully) pass right tf out and (hopefully) not die. Plus saying you've been struck by lightning and survived would be such a bragging right (not to negate the actual reality of getting struck by lightning) hope that all makes sense lmao

the lead up to this was such a difficult moment for tim. having to go back to his childhood home which held so many truly awful memories, finding the gun inside the wall pushed him to confront the one person he was adamant about never talking to again, then having to go back once again when he finds out he didn’t actually kill the neighbor but just protected his mistress when he never protected his own family. 

tim had his innocent ripped from him at an early age like he arguably got the worst of it and it doesn’t seem like he had anyone to keep him safe. enter lucy. she’s always been there for him since day one, or two if we want to get technical of when he got shot and she saved him. but her involvement and support here is so important because she never strayed from his side. she knew how he felt about the house and joined the two siblings to help fix it, helped him when he was determined to figure out the whereabouts of the mysterious gun, and when he knew he was being objective, she looked into it on her own to help him get to the truth. 

all of this plays into the hug and those particular lyrics. lucy staying with him and being by his side throughout this entire ordeal, especially how she’s at the other side of the door when tim has made his peace and gotten some closure. she asks him if he’s okay, he’s not, and she’s there to comfort him as he breaks down. we’ve seen that one of tim’s biggest fears is being like his dad and he literally tells her that the tim tests don’t make him like his dad which lucy seems almost shocked at him even saying this because she knows he’s nothing like him. she reassures him of this as she brings him into the hug. she knows he needs it, he needs that comfort and reassurance. he’s safe, his dad can’t hurt him anymore, and she’s right by his side like she’s always been.

CARLYYYY what if it’s a situation where lucy is in the building with the fire/shooting/danger or whatever and tim is worried so he goes in to try and help her but she gets out on her own and just misses him and then when grey tells her he went in for her that’s why she looks so heartbroken in that one promo pic because he gets put in danger 😭

oh my god, but what if she didn't actually get out before tim stepped in??? and that promo pic of her lying in shattered glass is her watching tim getting his ass beat, or the shooter(s) pointing a gun to his head and we get a parallel of tangled, where lucy just starts begging and pleading with them not to kill tim. that they can do whatever they want with her as long as they stop hurting him.

It's that time of the year where Emily in Paris gets dropped and I rage watch it.

Look, I don't care how cute or adorable they try and paint Emily to be. There's nothing Lily Collins can do to make her tolerable to me - Emily is the worst!

Her and Gabriel have no chemistry and they need to stop pretending to be saints. God they are such assholes and are trying to gaslight everyone into believing that they're platonic. Alfie is SO much better and honestly he deserves so much better than Emily wasting his time ughh.

I'm sooo glad that Camille cheated (and got a taste of the rainbow while doing it 😉🌈). She deserved to have some fun since her shitty boyfriend wanted to be shitty...also I'm here for Gabriel getting his feelings hurt.

Sylvie is still fucking awful, and Luc is an idiot - honestly I don't understand how that entire company survives because they clearly rely on Emily for things to work and she's pretty much an idiot too. yeeeaah, i don't have the slightest idea lmaooo. 😅 like you said it could play out one of a million different ways, and they've only just uncovered their romantic feelings for each other that they have been subconsciously suppressing for literal years.

ik this wasn't exactly the question, but i have always wanted tim to make the first move. something about the tough guy going all soft and confessing his love in an uncharacteristically vulnerable way ALWAYS!!!! gets me. like, every. single. damn. time!!! especially when you can visibly see the girl's breath catch, and the admission is powerful enough to make her lose her footing and stumble backwards a step.

that's personally my favorite fantasy of them getting together, and i think if i ever actually got this i would cease to exist.
