One Day

“Hey love,” Greg greeted his partner from the couch,”Long day?”

“Very,” He sat his things down and toed his shoes off before sitting right against Greg,”What about you?”

“It was a decent day, just wrapping up paperwork,” On instinct, the older man raised his arm to allow Mycroft to lay down comfortably,”I don’t usually say this, but you look exhausted darlin’ get some shut-eye.”

“What about you dar-” his sentence cut off by a yawn.

“I’ll be just fine My, sleep.”

After not receiving a response, he peered down to see the relaxed face of his partner, already drifted off into slumber. There was nothing quite like it; such a busy and restless man finally relaxing and not having a care in the world. His face softened into a content expression, lips parted slightly as silent snores passed through. Mycroft’s eyes fluttered beneath his lids as he lived in a dream, fingers twitching in response to it. He always wondered what the government official dreamed of (though in all honesty, he hoped it was about the two of them living in domesticity).

Greg allowed his eyes to wander away from his face for a moment, looking at the state of stress his partner had been in. His suit looked awfully wrinkled compared to other days; late night turned into a double-day at work. The briefcase he carried around made a heavier thud than usual; lots of paperwork and demands. His brow stayed in a small straight line, even as he slept; stressed more than ever. Greg’s heart ached for him, knowing just how hard Mycroft worked, seeing the evidence of exhaustion, watching how quickly the man fell asleep.

“One day I’m going to snatch you up and take you away from all the stress,” he muttered, rubbing small circles on Mycroft’s arm with his thumb,”I have a plan to propose, you know. I’ve had the ring since our second year of dating, I just never knew when the right time was. I’m surprised you haven’t figured it out yet, posh boy.” The only response he got was a bit of a louder snore than before, indicating that the elder Holmes was deep into sleep now,”I want to take you to France, propose to you in front of this beautiful fountain in my mum’s hometown. We used to go there all the time when I was younger, I always imagined meeting the love of my life and bringing them there.” His eyes began to feel heavy,”One day, I promise.”

That evening, the two slept together, snoring in tandem, with not a single care between them.

why are you, a minor, writing nsfw fics? where tf are your parents kiddo??

I've had quite a few people ask me questions like this lately, so I'd like to clarify a few things.

Firstly, my mum is a fan of my writing. She reads most of my pieces (minus the smut although she's aware I write them). In fact, she often helps edit my one-shots because I have dyslexia.

Secondly, it's adults, much like yourself, who tend to treat topics like sex, drugs, and alcohol as these forbidden subjects for minors that will cause kids to explore these things in a way to rebel against their parents. When adults aren't open to discussing these matters and teaching kids how to approach them safely, it actually makes them more curious.

In my experience, having parents who are open and willing to have these conversations has built trust between us. They've allowed me to have a drink on special occasions and have been open about sex, rather than treating it as taboo.

So yeah, that’s where my parents are and that why me, a minor, am writing nsfw fics! 😁

!!! lemme just say that i love love love Sigewinne so much, and in situations, I can 100% see her being in-the-know about things, especially since she's (and correct me if I'm wrong) studying human behaviour? right?

She would deffo pick up on the way that you smile brighter whenever Wriothesley is around. And how you always smile and look away whenever he compliments you. And how your supposedly busy afternoon has been cleared the moment he invites you to afternoon tea.

Sigewinne finds it kinda cute, and she wasn't planning on saying anything about it to anyone (certainly not the duke himself) but one day when she's puttering about his office, snacking on whatever he had offered her, he breaks the ice. A few minutes after you leave his office, a pep in your step, he turns to Sigewinne.

"So..." he drawls. "A crush, huh?"

"I don't know what you're implying, your grace," is her immediate response. Wriothesley isn't deterred, though, and the small smile on his face doesn't waver.

"About—" his eyes flick to the door that you exited out of, then back to her. "I never really noticed at first but... It's sweet," he says. That smile of his turns fond, and he looks down at his desk absently, his cheek resting on a fist. Sigewinne raises an eyebrow, eyes narrowing as she watches him.

"I see," she says, her own lips curling a bit. After all, when does one have the opportunity of seeing the Duke grow smitten with someone? "Well, if you wish to address this crush, now is as good as a time as any. I doubt you'd have to run very fast to catch up."

"Hah, is that so?" He asks, but stands all the same. Without another word to her, he trots down the stairs in his office and runs out, the doors shutting behind him with a muted bang.

Sigewinne sighs, still smiling. All she has to do now is wait for the happy news later in the day.

he is just always into being your hero . doing things to make you swoon

peter quill has a hero complex for sure but it gets hiked up about 200% when it comes to you. he’s obsessed with doing everything for you because he knows you like it, even if you don’t actually need the help. he knows you’re totally capable of taking care of yourself but he wants to do it because he’s so incredibly down bad for you it’s sick.

yes he’s definitely the type to reach high shelves for you!!! so casually dominant of him tbh. he comes up behind you where you’re tiptoeing in front of the shelf and easily snags the box you’re reaching for. when he hands it to you he’s veryy smug about it. especially if he gets a thank you kiss, which he usually does.

he’s also always tying your shoelaces or zipping your dress or fixing your clothes for you. your shoelace comes undone while you’re out with him and he doesn’t even hesitate to get on the dirty floor to do it up for you. you put your hands in his hair and tug gently as a silent thank you and he swears he dies on the spot. and if your clothes ever ride up and threaten to show more skin than he knows you’ll want to, he’ll fix them without a word and it flusters you so much.

ugh and if you’re clumsy!!! he gets so good at catching you before you hurt yourself. if you’re about to trip he’ll catch you before you do and dip you cos he’s a dork, his arm locked around your lower back. you’ll laugh and swoon and say my hero all sarcastic and it boosts peter’s ego wayyy more than he’d like to admit.

Jason is a hunk

He's not a twink, I believe if anyone ever called him a twink he would be so shocked he would forget how to punch them. He's a hunk. A twunk even. He's built, strong looks as big as a fucking closet.

I, in fact. I could argue that Bruce Wayne could actually be a bear depending on the artist that draw him (which also makes debatable the argument that Bruce Wayne in fact shaves his chest and I would say that's probably with laser because no razor makes a man chest and abs that smooth.) but I don't think the fandom is ready for that.

On an unrelated note, Jason Todd from Wayne Family adventures is a twink and I will fight people on that–

So in conclusion,

Jason Todd, is a twunk he was never a twink in his life. His father on the other hand was a Twink that evolved to a Daddy, which leads us to the end of my dissertation where measuring which fucked up character is more of a Twink... Bruce Wayne wins the crown, congrats Bruce Wayne you will always be famous.

This hug felt so good. Finally they were reunited again. Finally they could hold each other again. And damn this was such a beautiful hug! They hugged with their whole body and soul. Imagine holding the love of your life finally in your arms again after years of spending apart. I love it!

There is no space for anything else between them. Kazuma made sure of that. He neeeded Ren to feel this hug, and for himself to feel this closeness again. Both are in love with each other, even though they couldn't tell each other yet, but for us viewers it was cristal clear. This hug alone made it clear for us. I love this hug so much!

Pit Babe

Yes Babe, cry because you're so happy to have Charlie back in your arms! Beautiful. I needed this, he needed this and Charlie needed this too! We all needed this! And I love Pavel's facial expressions in this moment.

I Feel You Linger I The Air

The most desperate hug after the most saddest fuck this year! Such a beautiful scene! They knew they didn't have much time left and just made love. They wanted and needed to feel every inch of each other, and it felt so intimate, I had the urge to look away and let them have this time alone in closeness and happiness and desperation.

And now after these beautiful scenes we go on to my favorite side couples 2023. I love a good side couple I can concentrate on and forget about the main couple 😅

The first couple is one of the most precious ones of this year. We knew them and we knew they had incredibly chemistry and could act really nice, but nevertheless they blew us away:

Heart and LiMing from Moonlight Chicken

Their story was so wholesome and important. Their journey was so good. LiMing's struggles with his mum and his uncle, the money and the fact that he wanted to see the world were so ordinary and felt so real it was so good. And Heart's problems with his parents and the urge to be more independent and to be seen felt so sad and Gemini was so good. Oh I love these two and their stories!

Next we have a show I didn't like that much, but I was in love with the side couple. They were the only reason why I kept up with this show.

Zeke and Fifth from My Story

They had an extreme intense chemistry. I loved them on screen and their journey to finally become a couple. I was hyped for their own show and was so let down. I couldn't watch it. It was too much cringe for me, but this is just personal preference. In My Story I adored them and this scene especially.

Next is the couple, that has the most entries in all of my Top 5s this year:

AiDi and ChenYi from Kiseki: Dear To Me

I love them. They stole the show and my heart. Their dynamic is so adorable after they finally become a thing. In the beginning I was a little put off. I didn't understand their relationship, but within a few episodes this changed I was rooting for them so much! I was so happy when ChenYi finally understood his feelings for AiDi and AiDi finally got what he wanted desperatley for years!

I don't know if the next one counts... The show has three couples and I guess one was the main couple. Well, I cared more about the other ones.

Love Class 2

Maru and Minwoo had the softest kiss this year in my opinion and Sungmin and Joohyuk had this lap-situation and everything else that came after. I really enjoyed their stories and their characters. The main couple was just not that interesting for me. But because of the side couples (or the other main couples) I enjoyed this series so much!

I close this list with a couple, that is a little bit problematic for me. I don't like the series that much, mostly because of the main couple and the bad writing for them. But the writing for this side couple was so much worse!

Jaab and Jane from Step By Step

I was so pissed with their ending! What was that? There was no real conclusion and I still don't know if they are happy together now. They had this huge cheating plot (and I like those tropes, but only with a good solution in the end) and before they could work on that Jane was never seen again. This was so sturpid, I was so angry. I wanted them to have their own stupid happily ever after, but no, we have some creepy stalker like behavior and some mystery... no thank you, but besides that I liked them so much and I wanted so much more of them!

Yoongi shifts attention from his phone, but it’s Hoseok that responds to the anger brimming over the front console—shortly after a short puff of amusement,

“What’s up?”

Tsking, Namjoon leans his chair back. “Nothing. Just felt like saying it.”

Goddamn it. Yoongi can’t help but laugh along with Hobi, both of them getting that sentiment wholeheartedly.

“We can tap in,” he offers, even though he really doesn’t want to after the snap you just sent. Fuck, what he would do to see you in that dr—

“Could y’all, please,” Joon sighs, already getting up with squeaky wheels. “Gonna piss.”

“K.”

“I got it,” Hoseok cuts in front after standing first. “You look caught up.”

Oh, shit. Did he see? “I’m good.”

As Namjoon closes the door, Yoongi gets a knowing look before the working track is played.

“Who is it.”

“Who?”

Another huff from Hoseok makes him pause. “I see you on that phone,” he snickers. “You’re never on that thing when we’re working.”

“Lies.”

“You aren’t! At least, when we’re really in it.” Hobi isolates the strings tracks, listening intently before smiling again. “It’s cool, bro. I don’t care who it is. Just something I noticed, you know?”

Yoongi simply shifts in his chair. He didn’t know he was being that obvious, and he always makes sure to lay low.

What are you doing to him?

“My bad,” he apologizes, knowingly and willingly not deflecting for the first time since seeing you. “Won’t happen when we’re swamped.”

As he wipes his face with full palms, forcefully trying to wrench the weariness from his features, Yoongi hears Hoseok whisper,

“I can fill for you if you ever need to dip early.”

Huh?

His look must be a strange mix of sleepy and incredulous because his friend laughs way too hard.

“I can!” Hoseok gives a firm back pat. “Seriously, if you need to go see them once in awhile, I can—”

“Sup, bros!”

Both of them whip heads to the loud presence filling the room, both arms lifted high with grocery bags.

“Got food from a corner store along the way. Did you know they’re selling banana milk here now?”

Hoseok laughs, and Yoongi uses this opportunity to face the console, back straight and focus one-hundred. “Still drinking that?”

“Me? Of course!”

He shakes his head, murmuring to the screen but addressing the man next to him,

“Don’t worry about me, Hob.”

A blink.

“But I might consider that later.”

As Namjoon is the last one to enter the studio, Hoseok simply faces the console, too, hands moving with Yoongi’s before they both watch the television above,

“Always got you, Yoong.”

Was checking Tramway Engines for one of the asks and remembered this, I've meant to post it for ages. What an insight to the engine/driver dynamic. Into the engine/driver code, even:

🧸Toji will casually walk into your house, rummage your fridge, & fix himself a snack BEFORE he’s says hello

🧸 Toji will randomly appear in your home. Sometime you’ll come home to hear him in the shower or see him sleeping on your couch or exercising in your living room

🧸 One day Toji started leaving a envelope filled with a wad of cash for “his rent” on the table at the first of every month wait you don’t remember him moving him

🧸 Before you know it, you & Toji frequently hang out together it’s almost like y’all are dating

🧸 Toji starts referring to your home as “our home” out of no where. What’s yours is automatically his too and vice versa. This is non-negotiable

🧸💍 And before he knows it: Toji Fushiguro is sitting in a restaurant with his family. He’s happily watching the sight in front of him. Megumi, his 2 yr old son, bonding with his future mom a.k.a Toji’s pregnant fiancée over the his favorite tv show. Toji just cannot believe how lucky he is to finally have peace. To have someone as patient and understanding. For his son to potentially grow up in a stable household. Toji’s not sure why or how he became so blessed, but he’s swears on his 6 pack that he will fight to keep this little slice of heaven on Earth

“hey, did you know we were dating?” toji asks, his voice breaking the silence between you two. the rerun of an old episode of some cartoon served as white noise while you and toji went about your businesses — him, aimlessly scrolling through his phone, and you, head buried on a book.

you look up from your place on the beanbag, your eyes narrowed in confusion as you turned to toji who’s laying on the sofa that he could barely fit in, his long legs dangling from the armrest. he peers up at you from his phone and wiggles his eyebrows at you as he smiles, his scarred lips dancing in mirth.

“we were?” you ask, confused.

toji turns his phone towards you as if you can see the tiny screen given the distance between you two. “yeah,” he says. “gojo’s askin’ why we didn’t tell them the news.” he turns his phone to himself again after that before tapping at his screen.

“what’d you say?” you managed to get out, shutting your book close and belatedly realizing you forgot to mark the page you were on.

toji shrugs. how he managed to do that while being squished on the sofa, you do not know. you hum, distracted.

sure you and toji were close — too close, some of your mutual friends would say — but you always assumed it was normal because you and toji have been friends for years now. three years in university, where you two first met, and three years more after finding each other in tokyo — something you didn’t even think was possible because after graduation, you and toji went on your separate ways.

but it’s not like your friends did anything less. hell, you even walked in on shoko — shirtless and only reduced in booty shorts and her sports bra — sitting on suguru’s lap while she put eyeliner on him. you didn’t even bat an eye at the display because that had been normal for all of you guys. so you wonder why was sharing a flat with toji, sharing clothes with toji, and having you two cook for each other was dubbed as too intimate.

you pause, mind reeling a little bit because now that you thought about it—

“oh,” toji says, breaking through your ruminating. “i said we wanted to take things slow.”

you blink, your heart stuttering in your chest. you turn to toji, your lips parted in surprise.

“huh?”

“well, you know.” you do not know. “i was thinking about it and it’s not a bad idea for us to date.” it isn’t?

“it isn’t?” you repeat, this time out loud.

toji sits up from the sofa. “it isn’t.” his eyes are serious as they gazed at you. “wanna make it official? us two?”

“oh,” you utter, breathless. “sure.”

toji smiles, his gaze turning soft. “really?”

“yeah,” you say, this time feeling your own lips tugging in a smile. “i’d love that.”
