so i was helping the english department at my school clean out their big and very outdated literature study books bc im best friends with all of them duh

Vol.6 of Wakana's Talk Garden has been uploaded! ＼＼\\٩( 'ω' )و //／／ First of all, thank you so much for sending me so many Valentine's Day memories! ! 😂😂 I was wondering what would happen after I had made my blog post last time because it was so close to the deadline, surprisingly, it turned out to be the highest number of submissions ever! ! ! *laughs* There were so many people who sent a submission for the first time! ! 😭[I was one of them XD] I really felt everyone's love...😭✨It's almost as if I received Valentine's Day gifts a little early...😭💕I'm so grateful💕 As always, it was fun talking to you! ︎Sharing everyone's stories, tears, laughter, and warmth...♡ But!!When it comes to tragic stories, no one can beat me! ! 🤣 I don't think anyone reasonable would disagree with me on this, right? 😂😂 *laughs* (By the way, now that I think about it, it might have been 3rd grade instead of 1st grade *laughs*) Well, those are treasured memories...😌✨ [Note: She is talking about something "incredibly sad" that happened to her in elementary school. There was a boy she liked a lot so Wakana asked her mum to help her prepare some chocolate for him. After she gave him the chocolate he was quite apologetic and pretty much told her straight-up that he didn't like her. Needless to say, Wakana's little heart was broken into pieces.]

In the last blog post, I talked about a``mysterious chocolate that was so delicious but I couldn't remember its name,'' I did my best to search for it and... I actually discovered it! ! ･:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+ I managed to order it from an official website that said they would ship it right away! ! Ta da~♡

The mysterious delicious chocolate shop is actually a Belgian chocolate specialty store called “Rêve De Bijoux”! Apparently it's a select shop that sells a variety of Belgian chocolates that are carefully selected every year･:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+ It is not the same chocolate I used to eat, their selections seems to have evolved so the "chocolate of memories" no longer exists🤔I decided to choose a chocolate that had a similar shape to the one I had gotten in the past, I also chose a brand that I had purchased before😁

This is ZUUT's new product, "ZUUT Praline -2024 New Selection-"🍫 (I've bought some of their chocolate before) Way too beautiful...✨ It's almost a waste to eat them...✨(I will though)

And this is the chocolate of my memories, Rêve De Bijoux! ! (the box itself has not changed at all) The contents are all new though, I haven't had any of these before! This truffle seems to be very popular 😳💓 I am sharing my reaction on the podcast! ! So be sure to listen to it😆

And here is the decaffeinated coffee I drank with my chocolate ☕️ It's the instant coffee on the right. Although it is caffeine-free, it has a strong refined taste and is delicious 😳 (despite being instant) Personally, I like the fact that there is not a lot of acidity! What's even better is that it's organic and decaffeinated without the use of chemicals ♡

The drip coffee on the left is not decaffeinated but I really like it ☕️ It's called Cafe Verona from Starbucks. It has a very bitter taste that I occasionally crave😍

I had a lot of fun ordering chocolates and taking advantage the talk theme for the episode 😂 If you have any delicious sweets or foods you recommend, please let me know 😄 The next talk theme for March 10th will be “Graduation Memories”! ! Memories of your graduation ceremony from your school days, or when you graduated from ◯◯, etc, everything is welcome🤗 It shouldn't be that difficult! *laughs* I'm waiting for your submissions! ! !

Vol 6 Topic “Memories of Valentine's Day”

OMG, I can't believe she actually read my message😳 I always stress way too much over what to write and I am generally super self-conscious when it comes to my Japanese skills so I never really leave any comments, let alone long messages. But Wakana's blog post from last time made me feel so bad for her that I couldn't help but submit at least something. Apparently, lots of other people felt the same way XD That makes it all the more surprising my message ended up being chosen. I had no idea it would be so embarrassing to hear her read my message🙈 Especially now that it turns out my guess about the mysterious chocolate was completely off. I speculated that she might have talked about a popular Austrian sweet called "Mozartkugel" but turns out she was talking about a special chocolate from Belgium (see images above). Oh well, the message was a great transition to her introducing the chocolate and doing a little taste test. And I am happy that she at least remembers receiving my packages of "Mozartkugeln" during various lives. Also, this is the third time she has mentioned "Sachertorte" in relation to Vienna so I guess she must be pretty obsessed with it. I need to find a way to bring one as present for her.

For next month’s episode which is scheduled to air on March 10th, the topic is “Memories of Graduation” The submission deadline is 02/29.

I wasn't really planning on posting a follow up or anything... He finished the potato scene 2 days ago and enjoyed it mostly because of how the IC taunted Amren 😆. He didn't have any remarkable reactions to the "potatoes" specifically, though he's still utterly convinced that there's something between Elain and Az. The bits and pieces I remember him saying about it was that "they probably hang out quietly in the garden and stuff", but that "they're both still tiptoeing around each other". Az especially, since he thinks "Az respects her and probably doesn't want to get in the midst of the Lucien-Elain-Graysen mess, but he seems the patient type. He's old." 🤣. So he's still very much rooting for them since "they seem to be the only ones who are immediately comfortable and at ease with each other, and that's how all realistic love stories start and last, just like ours" lol🥰 Sadly nothing about the connection to his mum either.

As of now, he only reads about 1-2 chapters a day, so he's currently a couple of chapters away from the headache powder scene (which is my favourite Elriel moment, so I'm really looking forward to his reaction to that too)... So he'll get there in the next couple of days 😊

I want his reactions to be as organic and honest as possible, so I don't really ask him about what he thinks about the pairings, which is why his reaction to Elain and Azriel really caught me off guard (literally as soon as I woke up with my brain and voice barely functioning nonetheless) especially since he didn't even pick up on Feysand until Feylin's wedding 😂 I try to keep myself as neutral as possible and sort of deflect everything until the end, so he even thought Feyre and Tamlin was going to get back together when Rhys died after the Cauldron because I've never confirmed they were endgame 😆😈 He's vastly improved on picking up on stuff since then though. So if he reacts or points out anything noteworthy, whether it be about Elriel or Elucien etc. I might do a follow-up post. If not, then 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do want his opinion after "the" Bonus Chapter though - especially if he gets there before the next book announcement 😆

I have a slightly random question - I absolutely ADORE the way you wrote Narcissa in Choices/HLAYK, and I’ve been wondering how she’s going! The last we saw of her in HLAYK, she was struggling with depression and alcoholism 🥺🥺 Where do you picture her being in her journey to recovery - is she doing better? Does she know about Drarry - and if so, how does she feel about it? Has Draco ever brought Harry with him when visiting her? And, rewinding the timeline a little, are you planning to include her in your upcoming Choices sequel at all? 👀👀

(Narcissa is going to be one of my main POV characters in the canon-compliant fic I’m planning and it’s largely your fabulous morally complicated characterisation of her that inspired me, so thank you for that too! 😆♥️♥️)

SO Actually, the last we hear of Narcissa in hlayk she's living in the country running a Snidget sanctuary. It's said in chapter 5 at brunch:

“Draco’s mum is part of the endangered species committee. So she’s taken to fostering Golden Snidgets, trying to help them repopulate.”

George nods his head, because he doesn’t trust himself to speak. Doesn’t trust himself not say that it’s always baffled him the way rich bigots are able to dole out all the compassion and love on animals they can’t ever show to human beings.

“I asked her if she’d let me play a game with one of them,” Malfoy goes on, charming the pan in front of him to deliver more eggs to his plate. “She wasn’t amused.”

BUT there's a bunch of time jumping in that fic so i get why that was easy to miss! She's doing well! has found a new purpose! is pretty happy all things considered. She does know about drarry and Draco has brought Harry to meet the Snidgets, Narcissa even let him name one :) She will be in the Choices sequel yes!!! I'm so glad to hear you're writing her POV in your fic! She's such an interesting to character to play around with and read!!!

1- Three ships

I don't have much really shippy ships XD so these might actually be my only genuine ships. Highsidershipping (Placido/Yusei qpr), Korokara (Korosensei/Karasuma), and I'm gonna have Don Thousand/Ena as the third (I hc them as Astral's parents). I'm also going to add Rio/Trey because I think that's the only other OTP I have XD

2- First ever ship

I have no idea, my ships have always been rare. I feel like maybe Danger Mouse/Penfold but then again I didn't really ship them (aside from platonically)

I've had enough by Melina KB 😆 (and then immediately before that are a bunch of theme tunes from 2000s cartoons because I was playing them to annoy my mum and sister and for nostalgia)

Sorry, some of these are boring answers 😭

1. Canon I outright reject

Alright, this is for canon TMR: anything to do with cursed child’s existence. As much as I love our Delphini, I just can’t accept anything that came out of it… the thought of Voldemort having sex with Bellatrix? It’s repulses me. I just can’t see him wanting a child, either. It’s all weird.

If I was a fagette in LS, I would reject trueship and be obsessed with godfag/peepfag. You KNOW, I’d be so obsessed with that ship, and would be so miserable with the “canon” ship.

3. Obscure headcanon

Tom was a bed wetter, which would lead to issues with the matrons. This is also one of the things we talked about when we first became friends which makes it extra special to me.

9. Scene that first made me love (or hate) the character

Oh man… I’m not gonna lie, I read HP for the first time in high school and it’s been a loooong time since then. I think the entire plot with Diary Tom had me so on edge. Finding out Tom Riddle was VOLDEMORT? Insane. Shocking. Life changing. I didn’t really ship anything yet so it was purely this feeling of oh my goddddddd.

I don’t have face claims. My minds eye doesn’t work properly, so I just default with Christian Coulson. I don’t like the actors for HBP, so fuck that. For LS Tom…. I don’t even know. Tall, dark hair, skinny twink.

I don’t really connect songs or quotes or anything to characters (beyond our ocs), I’m just bad at it 😂. I do usually relate playlists you make to the characters, so anything you’ve made. When I listen to music, I can always somehow make it about characters even if it makes absolutely no sense - which makes me horrible for this question!

I’m really not sure 😆. I’m not good with smells either. TMR doesn’t inspire a smell for me. He’s just … I don’t know. He makes me think of a hospital room, sterile. Off putting but it fits him.

Hahahah. Stalking and creeping on Harry. This can fit for either LS TMR or canon TMR, I’d say. I also think canon TMR still has sticky fingers and steals sometimes, even after leaving the orphanage.

I just. can’t picture canon TMR crying. It’s so abnormal to me and doesn’t look right. I feel like you gotta attack him as a kid, low blow him to get the tears.

LS TMR, I think anything related to his mum when he’s younger could bring some tears. Not publicly, but around daddy.
