Someone Unexpected
"Fort Stonepeak was a small town in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains. With a population of only a few thousand, most people made their livelihoods by serving the farmers that worked just outside the city boundary or as members of the lively tourism industry that flourished in the region due to its fresh air, majestic mountain peaks, and clear blue rivers. Maybe that's why I came here? I did need some space after my breakup, but it hasn't worked. All I've done is sit in this hotel under this dim light on a creaky bed and feel sad for myself. Jesus, I need to do something. Maybe I will go to the bar tonight, and then I can at least drink my problems away. So after a shower, I looked in the mirror, put a shirt on, and got going.
Tumblr media
Walking into the bar, spots flashed before my eyes as the bright lights flashed. I hadn't been expecting them; it gave the bar much more of a rave atmosphere than I had expected, but when in Rome, trudging to the bar, I had to practically scream over the music just to get a whiskey. Looking around, I saw couples dancing. Great! I thought, Now I get to mope with a headache, but just as I thought that, a clink noise sounded next to me. Looking over, a gay, twunkish-looking farm boy sat next to me. "I hope you don't mind me sitting here; there are not many seats around." His chuckle filled me with a giddy feeling as he laughed. "No worries, I'm not waiting for anyone," I replied, putting my hand out for a handshake. He had a much firmer grip than I thought.
Tumblr media
The next few days, I went to hang out with John and began to learn more about him—about his family, friends, and, most importantly, his sexuality. It was another night of meeting at the same bar when John finally dropped the bomb. "I know you are gay; I am too, so I was wondering if you wanted to..." John trailed off. I was shocked as all hell. I had had my fair share of exchanges with other guys, and sure, a lot of them wanted me badly, but none had ever been this blunt. "Sure," I said, winking, "I can give you a good time," and before I knew it, we were heading over to my small hotel.
Leading John back to my apartment, I was full of joy. There was a strut in my step as I led him, and I had to slow down to stop myself from rushing too quickly. Once we got to my room, I held the door open for him and followed him in. The door shut with a bang, and I saw his shoulders tightening. Before he turned to me, "We're going to the bedroom now," he told me. I was shocked. Just a minute ago, he had been following me and gleefully talking about the starry sky and how he couldn't wait to do the deed with me. Now here, he was acting like he was in charge. I was going to talk to him about that, but then I felt the will to fight him on it leave my body as he stared at me, and like a defeated puppy, I followed him to my own bedroom, where he got me to sit down. Looking at me, I could feel his eyes undressing me before he finally seemed to be focused on my face. "I know you want me, but I want to hear it from you," he said. Still in shock at the situation, I stayed quiet, but soon waves of pleasure began to radiate through me. I looked to see where they were coming from, and his hand was massaging my crotch. "What do you want?" he asked me, and as I moaned, I only managed to whisper "you." Smiling at me, John pulled off my shirt and pants and pulled me into a kiss. I could feel his tongue invade my mouth, and I knew this was my last chance to assert that I was in charge here, so I fought back, but it was futile as he continued to slowly pressure my pouch, and finally I submitted, and his tongue began to explore my mouth. This is when I felt the first change begin. I felt inside my pants that my boxers were changing, the fabric changing to be less coarse, perhaps nylon, and shrinking down until my goods were held in a pair of briefs. looking down at them. John grinned; he said, "You look good on me," and I could feel my cheeks go hot as I blushed.
He proceeded to push me down and start kissing what felt like every inch of my body. As he did, my muscles began to shrink and my broad shoulders narrowed, but I still had a muscular frame, just a swimmer build rather than the body I had worked for at the gym, and before long, John was pulling down my pants and staring at my 9-inch. I looked at him with begging eyes as he began to suck me off, wave after wave of pleasure as I neared closer and closer, and right before I came, he moved back to kissing me and finished off my transformation as he gave me a hand job. Ribbons of cum flew out, leaving me with a reduced size. Putting his fingers covered in my own product into my mouth, my neurons fired. My brain was rewired; I was a bottom through and through, and John was certainly my boyfriend, and every night we would make love. That was how it was.
a few months later, and I've finally moved in with him. Of course, I do all the cooking and cleaning at home while he works the farm. Every night, I get to enjoy his hot, sweaty body. I think I hear him coming now. I don't think I've ever been so happy as when I see him after a long day.

🌌The Seraphim sisters redesigns!🌤️
I made Sera look powerful, serious, majestic and made her a starry night sky themed.
I made Emily a cloud theme since she is optimistic.
I make them dark skin and not ashy.
Also the colour white and the paleness blinded my eyes. Sera and Emily doesn't look powerful to me since I first saw them also their angel form is ugly
Like the sun and moon.
Sera likes showing Emily the beauty of nighttime on Heaven and Earth since Heaven is a cloudy sky city since Heaven can send sinners to hell or a new soul of human to earth in the purgatory.
Backstory
When Adam and Lilith was created Sera was the guardian angel or a guidance whenever they have the problem Lilith always comes up to Sera talking about her relationship with Adam. When Sera sees what Lucifer had a relationship with Lilith and having sexual relationship with Adams 2nd wife God was furious and disappointed as Lucifer fell. Sera was worried and devastated as she saw Lucifer fell to hell with Lilith. She was worried that her sister Emily will fell as well like Lucifer Morningstar as she kept Emily away seeing the truth behind the exterminations in hell. When Charlie and Charlotte arrived in heaven Sera was aware that the daughters of Lucifer Morningstar is in heaven. Sera was afraid that Emily will be fallen like Lucifer since she is protective of her.

Some of us will never forget that the burning times were once memorialized in retina-burning fonts; surrounded by violet spinning pentacles on the backdrop of a starry, twinkling night sky. Somewhere in the distance, a partially loaded midi file attempted to play "how soon is now" while the cursor trailed glittering sparkles across the majestic sky-screen...

Fair Date🎡💗
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
| synopsis: On a magical "Fair Night," Hoshi and Y/N, explore a dazzling fairground illuminated by colorful lights, embarking on thrilling rides and sweet indulgences. As their evening culminates with a breathtaking Ferris wheel ride, love and courage come together under the starry sky.
| pairing: bf!hoshi x gn!reader
| genre: fluff
| warnings: none
| w.c: 670
| a/n: if i were to promise hoshi a date this is where i'd take him
Tumblr media
On a clear and starry night, you and your boyfriend, Hoshi, decided to have a magical date at the local fair. The fairgrounds were a dazzling spectacle, illuminated by a multitude of colorful lights. The moment you entered, you were greeted by a breathtaking display of twinkling fairy lights strung overhead, casting a soft, enchanting glow over the entire fair.
Hoshi gazed around, his eyes wide with wonder. "Wow, this place looks incredible at night," he said, his voice filled with awe. You grinned and took his hand, feeling the warmth of his fingers in yours. "I knew you'd love it. It's like a dream."
As you strolled through the fair, you marveled at the radiant neon signs adorning various game booths, rides, and food stands. The Ferris wheel, in particular, was a sight to behold. Towering high above the fair, it was adorned with a mesmerizing array of multi-colored bulbs, creating a spectacular light show against the dark night sky. Hoshi's initial hesitation about riding it vanished when he saw how captivating it looked. Hoshi pointed up at the Ferris wheel. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but let's go on that. It's so beautiful." You squeezed his hand gently. "Let's save the best for the last."
Your night at the fair continued as you explored more attractions. The roller coaster, a twisting, glowing serpent, beckoned with its thrilling ride through the night. Every ride and attraction seemed to come alive with the radiance of the evening. The carousel's majestic horses were beautifully adorned with shimmering lights, spinning gracefully in a mesmerizing dance. The roller coaster tracks gleamed like streaks of shooting stars as they twisted and turned, providing an exhilarating rush of adrenaline.
As you exited the roller coaster, Hoshi's eyes landed on a brightly lit stall selling delectable treats. "How about we grab some cotton candy?" he suggested. You nodded, your heart soaring with happiness. With fluffy, pastel-colored clouds of spun sugar in hand, you strolled through the fair, savoring the sweet, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. The sugar rush added to the excitement of the night.
As you and Hoshi approached the balloon shooting game, you noticed how the colorful targets were brilliantly illuminated, making it all the more exciting. Hoshi's eyes sparkled with anticipation as he took aim under the shimmering lights, each shot punctuating the air with a burst of color. Hoshi laughed as he aimed for the balloons. "Let me win something for you." Your laughter echoed his. "You've already won my heart, but a stuffed animal wouldn't hurt!"
Your night at the fair was a truly magical experience, made even more enchanting by the dazzling display of lights. With every step, your hearts grew closer, and the world around you seemed to melt away, leaving just the two of you in a world of twinkling wonder.
As you approached the Ferris wheel once again, Hoshi hesitated. The towering structure looked even more imposing up close, its lights reflecting in his uncertain eyes. You touched his cheek gently and met his gaze. "Hoshi, I know it's scary, but the view there will be breathtaking. I promise you won't regret it." Hoshi took a deep breath and nodded, mustering his courage. "Okay, for you, I'll do it."
As you both ascended to the peak of the Ferris wheel, the breathtaking panorama of the fair, awash in a sea of radiant lights, surrounded you. It was as if you were suspended in a starlit sky, your hearts intertwined. Hoshi, though initially fearful, was now enchanted by the scene. He turned to you with a warm smile, his eyes reflecting the colorful lights. "Thank you for convincing me. This is like a fairy tale come to life." You nodded, your heart skipping a beat. "With you, every moment feels like a fairy tale." You leaned in and shared a sweet, lingering kiss as the Ferris wheel held you at the apex of its rotation. The moment was as captivating as the lights around you, a memory that would stay etched in your hearts forever.

Birthdays with him
Tumblr media
has an entire day planned five months ahead, forgets the actual date
you'd be a fool if you think he'll only give you one present
attuned to your preferences and what you would enjoy
whether it is going out partying all night, spending time with your friends or family, or spending it alone just the two of you
the type to give you vouchers and coupons that may or may not include him
whenever he finds a new cool place the first thought that occurs to him is how he'd love to take you there on a special occasion
once he told you he prepared a surprise for your birthday
he took you to this clearing and you were confused for a second before a beautiful glowing majestic tree grew a few feet from you
Niran pulled a blanket and snacks out from somewhere and you enjoyed a picnic with a starry sky under a pink tree formed out of biolight as pink artificial petals fluttered around you
best birthday ever

Honeymoon Knight / Chapter 21 - The Secret Vow

[Kalliste, Church]
Tumblr media
Opening the door and stepping inside... There, a majestic and beautiful space unfolded before me.
> "It's so beautiful..."
Muu: "It really is amazing. U-um, by the way... Is it okay for us to just come in like this?"
Berrien: "Yes, it's fine. We have received permission in advance."
> "Did you bring me here for something?"
Berrien: "Yes, that's right. This church is the largest in Kalliste... It's such a beautiful place. Since you've come all the way to Kalliste... I wanted you, my lord, to see... even a little bit of the beauty of this world."
> "Thank you"
Bastien: "My lord, feel free to look around as much as you like."
Lono: "The decorations and the adorned flowers are so beautiful. Please, enjoy yourself!"
> "Okay…!"
And so, as recommended by the butlers... I decided to take a look around the church.
~ A little while later ~
I carefully examined the church.  Inside, it was dimly lit with only the light of small candles, and... the starry sky visible from the windows seemed to complement the beauty of the church's decorations. After thoroughly exploring, I spoke to Berrien and the others...
> “It was so beautiful” > "Thank you for bringing me here"
Berrien: "Fufu, we're glad you enjoyed it."
Lono: "Then, my lord, won't you come with me for a moment?"
> "Huh?"
With that, Lono guided me to the front of the church altar.
> "What are we going to do?"
Lono: "Hehe. We have something to tell you."
Bastien: "We... want to make a vow to you here today, my lord."
> "A vow?"
Berrien: "In this place... Many people have reaffirmed their bonds with their loved ones... and made promises for the future. In such a wonderful place... we also want to promise a future with you, my lord. Would you please listen to our feelings?"
> "...yes"
Berrien: "Thank you very much. Then, my lord... First, from me...  I swear to continue to serve you as your butler... I will always be by your side. I won't let you feel lonely. No matter what happens... I'll be there to support you.  I promise to continue being a place where your heart can rest.  So... please continue to rely on me. When things get tough... I want you to confide in me. I'll always be on your side."
> "Berrien..."
Lono: "My lord... I swear to protect your smile in the future. Devil's Palace will always be... a warm place where you'll want to come back every day. I'll do my best to keep it that way.  Since I'm a chef... I'll start by... promising to always serve delicious food! I'll make lots of your favorite dishes from now on! I... like your smiling face. So, I'll definitely protect it. I promise."
> "Lono..."
Bastien: "Lastly, it's my turn.  My lord... I swear to protect you in the future. Because I only have a sword. No matter what enemies come our way... I won't let them lay a finger on you. I will protect your life.  Even if, by any chance... I'm not by your side... and you're in a dangerous situation, don't worry. I'll definitely come to help.  I want you to stay by my side... always. That's how much... I care about you, my lord."
> "Bastien..."
Bastien: "Did I manage… to convey my feelings properly?"
> "Yes"
Bastien: "I see. That's good then."
> "Thank you, everyone"
Berrien: "We should be the ones thanking you. Thank you for becoming our lord... and for being by our side until today. We really appreciate it."
Lono: "Thank you."
Bastien: "Thanks."
With that, the three of them gently smiled at me... The promises I received from the three of them... They were all so wonderful... and warmed my heart. And then... I suddenly had a thought.
> "Can I make a vow too?"
Berrien: "A vow from you... my lord?"
> "I promise to fight alongside everyone until the end"
Lono: "My lord..."
> "And I want to make everyone happy"
Bastien: "Heh... You're a reliable lord."
Berrien: "Yes. We really think so."
Lono: "We've heard your vow, my lord. Let's make it through everything and be happy together someday."
> "Yes"
Then... Muu, who had been quietly watching, stood up and gave an applause with his small hands.
Muu: "Everyone, you're all amazing! I can't help but feeling so moved."
Bastien: "Muu. Please keep what you saw today a secret from the other butlers."
Muu: "Huh? Why?"
Bastien: "We want to keep it as memories only for us and the lord."
Berrien: "Fufu... That's right. Let's cherish the secret vow we made in Kalliste.”
Lono: “You’re okay with it, right, my lord?"
> "Of course"
And so, we promised each other to keep it a secret... and left the church with pleasant feelings. It was a wonderful day making memories with the butlers on the first floor on my first visit to Kalliste.

a/n: Hi! I'm back at writing fanfictions! This is only chapter one i will try updating regularly (will not vanish from the face of the earth like i did before).
*This fic will use both 3rd and ocasionally 1st pov*
Tumblr media
A dark black sky. Endlessly spread. Hauntingly silent. Fear breeding. Life eliminating. Plagued by death and decay. Breaking the cycle of birth and death of all creations. Timeless. Everything just seized to exist.
At the centre, a single entity stood staring into the once-starry sky. A glowing smoke. A few feet away stood Morpheus. Dream Of The Endless.
He often caught himself visiting this dream. An unknown dreamer. A nameless book in his library. The same dream every night for aeons. Only in this dream, he did not see the dreamer properly. He visited the dream every day.
After escaping Rodrick Burgess and finding all his tools. He tried visiting it again. He did not find it. The book from the library had disappeared too. A dreamer's book does not simply disappear. Upon asking Lucienne about the book's disappearance and indirectly asking for her input, he was unable to conceive a conclusion.
A rumour floated the dreaming. A prophecy they said.
"Its eyes will be filled with the night sky. It will wield destruction in its hands"
Morpheus had heard of such rumours for years. No one ever came. Nor did he care for such foolish nonsense. The Dreaming was protected, whoever dared to step foot in his realm with ill intentions should simply be eliminated. All threats should be instantly neutralized.
Tumblr media
One very uneventful night Morpheus visited the pier on the outskirts of the Dreaming. The majestic waters of the sea held dreams upon dreams. Bored, an idea popped into his mind. "The unknown dreamer". "Was the dream still there?" He wondered. He decided to investigate. Dream reached into his pouch grabbing a handful of his sand. As he threw it up the sand moved around him, swallowing him as he vanished into the unknown dream.
There he stood. In the same darkness? This wasn't dark at all. It was a starry night sky. His night sky. The exact one that expanded over the dark sea. Except. He was mid-air. With the celestial bodies. He could walk around as though there was ground beneath his feet.
This time he felt something. A strong emotion. Maybe a combination of emotions. Distress, anger, confusion, sadness and most importantly fear. It slowly plagued his chest.
A faint voice called out "Sisters of the night help me!". Morpheus turned around to face the source.
A woman? A woman knelt a few feet away from him with her eyes closed and her hands clasped as though she was praying. Her soft cheeks were stained with tears. As the dream lord studied her he heard her say something, something he would not be able to ignore.
A plead. She begged for saving.
"Save me whoever listens. Save me from this cold realm. I beg any elder who listens. All those omnipotent or near. Listen to my prayers. Listen to my sisters' prayers. Find me!".
As an "Endless" Dream was nearly omnipotent. Therefore, as the ruler of the Dreaming it was his responsibility to oversee such matters. "Who asks for my presence?" Morpheus' dark deep voice called out. The woman opened her eyes. She took a deep breath in as if she had been suffocating. "With whom do I have an audience, my lord?" Curiosity filled her damp grey-green eyes. The atmosphere shifted. The dream could feel the change in her emotions. Peace? Calm? No, Hopeful?
"I am Morpheus, Dream Of The Endless, Master Of Dreams, The Prince Of Stories. I shall answer your prayers, for you are in my realm. Tell me where are you in the waking world?"
"I know not where I am. Only that it is dark and cold. I do not travel between the worlds or realms. My lord, save me from this place. Find me! I beg of you!" . Tears pricked her eyes. Her voice sounded simply defeated.
Pity. That's what he felt for her. He hasn't felt that in a while for anyone. Walking towards the woman Morpheus held out his hand. She hesitated. But at last, grabbed his pale hand shakily. His sand engulfed them. And in the very next moment, they both stood next to each other.
Tumblr media
A dark, cold place. Morpheus' feet almost sunk into the wet ground.
What was this place? His mind was filled with this question.
A lonely fading moon in the sky barely lit the vast nothingness. This place was no longer considered to be his realm. It was once a night sky similar to the one in the Dreaming but, celestial bodies eventually die. So the Dreaming moved on. Whatever remained became a transitional space between the realms.
Looking around he saw her walk towards something. She sat on a stone with her back towards him and her head tilted to the sky. Dream approached her. Before he could say anything her soft voice spoke. "It must be lonely. She shines all alone. She's weak- losing her power. My presence here only gives her reason to shine. Soon she must let go."
Celestial bodies eventually die. When no new stars are born the realm begins to decay however, they can not die until all inhabitants of the area have migrated.
Dream remembers what he has and hasn't created within the realm. She is not a creation of his. "Who are you? And why do you stay here?". The dream Lord's heavy voice spreads around them. "For all my life till now. I have always been here. I have seen seven thousand, four hundred and two nights-".
"Twenty years?" Dream thought. He found it quite odd. Morpheus has been visiting this dream for aeons. How can "she" only be 20 years old?
"If you feel stuck here I shall take you back to my realm." Dream offered.
"I must say goodbye first." A bitter sweet smile spread across her face as she stood up to face the sky one last time. "Farewell Mikopolien. May you find peace in your death my sister." She ended with a sigh. A simple bow of her head and she turned to Morpheus. "Odd" Morpheus thought. Why would she refer to the star as a 'sister' ?
Just like that the sand engulfed them one last time. The light of the lonely moon gave out as they returned to The Dreaming.
Tumblr media
Morpheus' throne room was quiet and cold as ever. The girls eyes bounced off every surface trying to absorb the new environment. Hurried footsteps echoed outside the room. They got closer anf closer. Luciene rushed into the room. "My lord the baby nightmares have ran into fiddlers gr- ". She took a moment to stare at the scene infront of her. Surprised by the new entity she asked hesitantly "My lord is she one of your new creations?". Morpheus expressionlessly stared back at her.
"She is a guest in our realm Lucienne. Ensure she receives the proper attention and aid. I have work I need to return to." Morpheus replied glancing at the girl who was too busy looking around the room.

I missed making blackout poetry, so, here’s one created from the opening page magazine reviews of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos.

It is an eminently majestic achievement,

we exist,

𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐘𝐀 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐀
— Dwarkadhish x Dwarakeshwari
Tumblr media
🦚 SYNOPSIS : When Krishna can't see his priya frowning in sadness, so, he comes up with a way to cheer her up.
🦚 KAMAL'S NOTE : This is just a work of fiction and nothing to do with the actual events. I just wanted to write something for Maa Rukmini and Krishna since there is not much. Hopefully I didn't cross the line. This fic made me hate the word 'hand' to be honest 😮‍💨. The devider is from this post.
Kamalnayan = Lotus like eyes, Sri = Mahalakshmi/Rukmini, Nupur = Anklet, Aradhya = Adored one, Arya = Honorable one.
Tumblr media
Sweet wind blew past the raven locks, forcing them to dance on the rhythm with it. Dwarakeshwari, Rukmini Maharani, sat on the edge of the majestic water fountain. Her hand playing with the rippling cold water. The full moon shone brightly in the night's sky. The reflection of the moon in the water made Rukmini appear glowing.
Everything happened so suddenly. One day, she was writing a letter to Kanha to come and save her and the next she is now married to the said Manohari. Few days ago she came to Dwarka with her husband. People here are loving and welcoming to her but Rukmini could not help but miss her father and brothers.
Since day one she was their beloved princess but everything changed when Rukmi decided to prioritise his political friends and hate towards Krishna over her. Going against Rukmini, he rejected Krishna when he asked for her hand in marriage and then he fixed her marriage to that demon, Shishupal. Still, Rukmini loved her brother and wanted the best for them.
"Can't sleep?"
A sweet voice broke the silence of the night. Her hand stopped it's action. Rukmini heard quite footsteps advancing towards her as her heartbeat sped up. Even after loving him for years and being married to hi, Rukmini couldn't help but blush whenever he was around her.
Krishna walked up to Rukmini and sat right behind her. Their eyes met through the waters reflection but Rukmini averted her eyes away as a feeling of shyness took over, making Krishna chuckle. His wife, his Sri, can look into others eyes and put them in their places but she can't even look her Shyam. Oh! How much he yearns to see those beautiful kamalnayan.
"Could not sleep?" Krishna asked again, this time even more softer.
Rukmini nodded her head, giving him a quiet 'hum'. Krishna dipped his hand in water. Taking her hand in his, Krishna swayed them, feeling water pass through their fingers.
"So, what is bothering my beloved?"
Rukmini remained silent for a moment before speaking, "I was thinking about my people back home."
"Is that so?" Krishna wishpered, "Do you regret marrying me and coming he—"
Before he could finish, Rukmini had turned around and slammed her hand over his mouth, "What are you saying Madhav? I can never."
Rukmini felt his lips curling up into a smile against her palm. Krishna held her hand by his both hands and brought them down. But instead of letting go, Krishna clutches it even firmer.
"You are finally looking at me."
Rukmini gasped at the realisation and all the heat raised up her cheeks. As she quickly looked, Krishna took her chin between two fingers and made her face him again. Rukmini kept her head down.
Hay Bhagwan! My shy wife. Madhav thought to himself.
"Would you like to go somewhere......With me?" Krishna asked.
Rukmini nodded her head without any hesitation. Krishna stood up and held out a hand for her, "Sri?"
Rukmini placed her hand in and got up. Then Krishna started leading them out of the golden palace. They walked for at least 60 vighaṭi but neither of them seemed to mind. By day Krishna is mostly busy with work and Rukmini also has to play the mother goddess she is.
They don't get much time to spend together other than the night. They walked through the furnished road, hand in hand, under the starry night. At the end of the city was a forest. Krishna led her into it.
Moonlight failed to enter through the cover of tall tree branches. As the forest went darker, Rukmini, unknowingly, brought herself closer to Krishna. Though Krishna saw that, he didn't say anything because seeing how shy his Sri is, she might pull away.
"How far is the place, Madhav?" Rukmini asked when the road seemed to be endless. They couldn't stay out long. As the king and queen of Dwarka, work was already on their shoulders.
"Just a little more Sri." Krishna whispered, giving her hand a firm squeeze.
They walked a little more when Krishna suddenly stopped. Rukmini looked at him confused. Krishna released her hand and held up the jewelled flute. As Rukmini held the flute with care, Krishna went behind her and palmed over her eyes.
"Ma-Madhav?"
"Just a little more to go." Krishna whispered in her ear.
Rukmini trusted and started forwarding. Losing the ability to see, her other senses became stronger. The forest was silent. The sweet sound of their nupur chiming echoed through the silent woodland accompanied by occasional hooting of owls.
Krishna came to an abrupt stop, "Ready?"
Rukmini nodded impatiently, "Yes, Madhav."
Krishna slowly removed his hands. A bright light blinded Rukmini for a moment. She blinked her eyes to adjust to the light and when she saw scenery before her all she could do was gasp in surprise.
The place was glowing compared to the rest of the dark forest. Fireflies dancing with each other. Beautiful flowers are blooming all over the place. Birds like peacocks, parrots, owls, flying like it's broad daylight. Then there is deers, red panda, horses and many more playing like friends.
"Madhav, what place is this? This looks like it is Vaikuntha."
"This place is Divya aranya. Do you like it?"
"This place is heavenly. Why didn't you bring me here earlier?" Rukmini breathed out, failing to look away.
Krishna sat on the ground with his hack leaning on a big tree. While Rukmini admired the magical forest, Krishna admired his ārādhya. Her eyes sparkled like gold, taking in everything. When she was done she came and sat beside Madhav.
"How did this come here?" Rukmini felt like a child, seeing the world for the first time even though she herself was Devi Mahalakshmi.
"That…….is a story for another time. Just know that there was this man who created this place because he couldn't see his priya frowning in sadness." Mischievousness swimmed in his eyes.
Rukmini smiled with a knowing look. She really had completely forgotten about her previous sadness with her brother. Which gave Krishna relief. The last thing he wanted was for her to be sad. That too in his presence.
Rukmini felt a different sense of boldness as she dropped her head on his shoulder. When the sun goes up they will be pulled into the same work routine. So, Rukmini wanted to savour these moments as much as possible.
"Can we stay here a little longer?" Rukmini asked softly and he replied back, "As long as you want."
Rukmini's eyes fell on the flute in her hand, the divine flute that everyone praises.
"Arya, you have never played your flute for me, have you?"
Krishna laughed, "Every rag, every sur, every dhun that I play, is for you, my Sri. If not you, then I have no reason to even exist."
He sure is a ladies' man. Rukmini thought as her cheeks became red.
Rukmini gave him his flute back, "Play something for me, won't you, Arya?"
"Anything for you, Sri."
Krishna took the flute, placing his lips on it, he started playing the most madhur dhun she had ever heard. The aranya became more joyful, birds danced with the melody, animals became hypnotised with how enchanting it was.
And Darkeswari drifted into the dreamland with her head resting on her beloved's shoulder and hearing the madhur dhun.

King Baldwin IV x Ice Skater Reader
In the frosty realms of the ice rink, where blades glided gracefully across the frozen surface, (Y/N) moved with a fluidity that mesmerized all who beheld her. She was a vision of elegance and grace, her every movement a testament to her mastery of the art of ice skating. Little did she know that her talents would lead her on a journey to the heart of Jerusalem, where she would find love in the most unexpected of places.
It was a crisp winter morning when (Y/N) received an invitation to perform at the grand celebration in Jerusalem, hosted by none other than King Baldwin IV himself. Thrilled at the prospect of showcasing her skills in front of royalty, (Y/N) eagerly accepted the invitation and set out on her journey to the Holy Land.
As (Y/N) arrived in Jerusalem, she was greeted by the majestic sight of the city's towering walls and bustling streets. Excitement coursed through her veins as she made her way to the palace, where the celebration was to take place.
Upon her arrival at the palace, (Y/N) was escorted to the grand hall, where King Baldwin IV awaited her arrival. Dressed in regal attire, his presence commanded attention, yet his eyes held a warmth that drew (Y/N) in like a moth to a flame.
"(Y/N), it is an honor to have you here," Baldwin greeted her with a charming smile, his voice soft yet commanding.
"The honor is mine, Your Majesty," (Y/N) replied, her heart fluttering at the sight of the king before her.
As the celebration commenced, (Y/N) took to the ice, her movements as graceful as a swan gliding across a serene lake. The crowd watched in awe as she performed, her every jump and spin executed with precision and finesse.
Among the spectators stood Baldwin, his gaze fixed on (Y/N) with a mixture of admiration and longing. He had never seen anyone quite like her, and he found himself drawn to her in a way he could not explain.
After her performance, (Y/N) made her way off the ice, her cheeks flushed with exertion yet glowing with a sense of accomplishment. Baldwin approached her, his heart pounding in his chest.
"(Y/N), that was truly magnificent," he said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. "You have a gift unlike any other."
"Thank you, Your Majesty," (Y/N) replied, her eyes shining with gratitude. "It means the world to me to be able to share my passion with others."
Their eyes locked in a moment of silent understanding, and in that instant, Baldwin knew that he had found someone special.
As the night wore on, Baldwin and (Y/N) found themselves drawn to each other, their conversations flowing effortlessly as they exchanged stories and shared laughter. Despite their difference in status, they found common ground in their love for the arts and their desire to make a difference in the world.
As they danced beneath the starry sky, their bodies moved in perfect harmony, their hearts beating as one. It was a moment of pure bliss, a fleeting glimpse of paradise in the midst of chaos and uncertainty.
But their happiness was short-lived, for danger lurked in the shadows, threatening to tear them apart. As whispers of betrayal and treachery echoed through the palace walls, Baldwin and (Y/N) found themselves caught in a web of deception and deceit.
Amidst the turmoil, (Y/N) found herself face to face with Guy de Lusignan, a sinister figure whose dark intentions threatened to unravel everything she held dear.
"Stay away from the king, (Y/N)," Guy sneered, his voice dripping with malice. "He belongs to me, and I will not let you come between us."
But (Y/N) stood her ground, her gaze unwavering as she faced off against her adversary.
"I will not let you manipulate him, Guy," she declared, her voice ringing with determination. "His heart belongs to me, and nothing you say or do will change that."
Enraged by her defiance, Guy lunged at (Y/N), his fists clenched in anger. But before he could reach her, Baldwin intervened, his sword drawn and ready to defend the woman he loved.
"Leave her alone, Guy," Baldwin warned, his voice cold as steel. "She is under my protection, and I will not let you harm her."
With a furious roar, Guy retreated into the shadows, his threats echoing through the night like a haunting melody.
As dawn broke over the horizon, (Y/N) found herself wrapped in Baldwin's embrace, her heart overflowing with love and gratitude.
"I will always protect you, my dear," Baldwin whispered, his voice soft yet filled with conviction. "No matter what challenges lie ahead, we will face them together, as one."
And so, amidst the turmoil of war and the chaos of battle, (Y/N) and Baldwin embarked on a journey of love and redemption, their hearts intertwined like the threads of fate itself. For in the frozen depths of Jerusalem, amidst the clash of swords and the whispers of betrayal, their love would conquer all, thawing the icy grip of fear and doubt and igniting a flame that would burn for eternity.
As days turned into weeks, (Y/N) found herself immersed in the intricacies of palace life, her days filled with courtly duties and royal functions. Yet amidst the pomp and splendor, she always found solace in Baldwin's company, their love blossoming like a rose in the desert.
One afternoon, as (Y/N) explored the palace gardens, she stumbled upon Baldwin deep in thought, his brow furrowed with worry.
"What troubles you, my love?" she asked, her voice gentle as a summer breeze.
Baldwin sighed, his gaze heavy with concern. "It is the impending threat of war that weighs heavily on my mind," he confessed. "The crusaders grow restless, and tensions are rising among the factions."
(Y/N) placed a comforting hand on his arm, her touch a soothing balm to his troubled soul. "We will face whatever challenges come our way, together," she reassured him. "Our love is stronger than any army, and it will see us through even the darkest of times."
Moved by her words, Baldwin pulled (Y/N) into his embrace, his heart overflowing with gratitude for the woman who had captured his soul.
"Thank you, my dear," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "With you by my side, I fear nothing."
As the days passed, Baldwin and (Y/N) found themselves embroiled in a whirlwind of political intrigue and diplomatic negotiations, their love serving as a beacon of hope in the midst of uncertainty.
One evening, as they attended a lavish banquet in honor of visiting dignitaries, (Y/N) found herself engaged in conversation with the enigmatic Balian of Ibelin, a knight whose courage and loyalty were renowned throughout the land.
"It is an honor to meet you, Lady (Y/N)," Balian said, his voice tinged with admiration. "Your grace and beauty are surpassed only by your skill on the ice."
(Y/N) smiled warmly, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "You are too kind, Sir Balian. I must admit, I never expected to find myself in such esteemed company."
Balian chuckled, his gaze lingering on (Y/N) with a hint of admiration.
"Esteemed company, indeed," Balian replied, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "But it is not every day that we are graced with the presence of a talented ice skater in the heart of Jerusalem."
(Y/N) laughed softly, charmed by Balian's wit and charm. "Indeed, it is a rare occurrence. But I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion with others, especially in such a magnificent setting."
As the evening progressed, (Y/N) found herself drawn into a spirited discussion with Balian, their conversation ranging from topics of art and culture to the complexities of politics and warfare. Despite their differing backgrounds, they discovered a shared appreciation for the finer things in life and a mutual respect for each other's talents.
Meanwhile, Baldwin watched from across the room, his heart heavy with jealousy at the sight of (Y/N) engaging with another man. Though he trusted her implicitly, the thought of losing her to someone else filled him with a sense of dread that he could not shake.
As the night wore on, Baldwin found himself unable to contain his emotions any longer. Stepping away from the festivities, he sought out (Y/N), his heart pounding with uncertainty.
Finding her alone in the palace gardens, Baldwin approached her with a mixture of apprehension and longing.
"(Y/N), may I have a word with you?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
(Y/N) turned to face him, her eyes filled with concern at the sight of his troubled expression. "Of course, Baldwin. What troubles you?"
Baldwin took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts before speaking. "I cannot help but feel a twinge of jealousy whenever I see you with another man," he confessed, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "I know it is foolish of me to feel this way, but I cannot bear the thought of losing you to someone else."
(Y/N) placed a gentle hand on his arm, her touch a soothing comfort to his troubled soul. "Baldwin, you have nothing to fear," she reassured him, her voice filled with sincerity. "You are the only one who holds my heart, now and always."
Moved by her words, Baldwin pulled (Y/N) into his embrace, his heart overflowing with gratitude for the woman who had captured his soul.
"Thank you, my dear," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "With you by my side, I fear nothing."
As they stood in each other's arms, the moon cast its silvery glow upon them, illuminating their love like a beacon in the darkness. In that moment, Baldwin knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, united in love and bound by destiny.
And so, amidst the turmoil of war and the chaos of battle, Baldwin and (Y/N) embarked on a journey of love and redemption, their hearts intertwined like the threads of fate itself. For in the frozen depths of Jerusalem, amidst the clash of swords and the whispers of betrayal, their love would conquer all, thawing the icy grip of fear and doubt and igniting a flame that would burn for eternity.

Starry Skies
—————————————————————————
The cerulean sky was a mesmerizing sight to behold, stretching out as far as the eye could see. The moon remained elusive, its presence shrouded by a thick veil of clouds. The sky appeared as a mystical nebula, with hues of lavender, powder blue, and ivory, swirling together in a mesmerizing dance with the deep blue. The convergence of these colors created an awe-inspiring masterpiece that left anyone spellbound.
Madoka didn't know if she properly caught its excellence in that small paragraph, or if there was a word fitting its greatness. “Beautiful” was too much of an understatement, “breathlessly amazing” seemed more… accurate, even if it wasn't quite fitting.
She sat on a large, grassy hill, which presented a beautiful and breathtaking view of the city below, its energetic lights shining lively if she ever took her eyes away from the sky. But she couldn't. The city was so beautiful, her beloved home where she grew up, but at that moment, the sky was so much more majestic than anything else in the world. It was out of this world after all. Her entire attention was so transfixed on the azure sky that she forgot for a split second that she wasn't alone.
Sitting beside her was another girl, with hair as dark as coal. The color of her eyes was a mesmerizing shade of brilliant amethyst, which sparkled and shone like the facets of a precious gemstone. They were undoubtedly one of the most stunning and captivating features of her face, drawing the attention of anyone who looked upon her. Her hair meanwhile was so silky and long it danced with the wind effortlessly. Its ethereal beauty seemed almost otherworldly, as if it belonged to a fairy tale princess or a mythical goddess. She certainly looked like a princess, her poise and elegance exuded such a feeling. While she was so perfect-looking and so beautiful, what had to take the cake was her smile. Gentle and soft, but it was exceedingly rare, even if it was a small smile it was like a diamond, so rare and yet so beautiful.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Madoka whispered, the wind carrying the words to the girl beside her. Even as she said those words, she never took her eyes away from the sky, still captivated by its glorious magnificence.
“Yes, you are.”
It took a few seconds for Madoka to process those words, and her brows furrowed. Did she just…?
Madoka tore her eyes away from the sky and looked at Homura. The other girl merely smiled at her, a genuine smile that just made Madoka want to melt. Whenever that smile of hers would be shown to her and her only, she’d feel like fainting or squealing in joy. Of course, she never did these, for it would be too embarrassing to act as such. It made her feel so special, and part of her was irritated for even thinking of such a selfish thought, but now wasn’t the time for negativity.
“What…did you say?” Madoka asked hesitantly, staring at Homura with oddly nervous and somewhat hopeful eyes. It was a little-known fact that she had a crush on the black-haired girl, and having those feelings reciprocated would be a miracle, but she believed that to be impossible. Homura was far, far out of her league, it was almost unbelievable that she was even her friend.
Then again, miracles are about the impossible coming possible so she had a chance.
Homura smiled and shook her head. “It’s nothing.” the black-haired girl diverted her attention from Madoka to the starry skies, her relaxed and peaceful smile growing ever-so-slightly as she took in its vastness.
Madoka had recently learned that Homura liked stargazing, even if she didn't do it often anymore. The discovery had been an accident when she caught Homura staring at the skies at night. She saw her doing it, again, and again and so she finally confronted her about it. She was curious as to what her friend liked, the black-haired girl was very reserved and never told anyone about what she liked. Homura ended up admitting to her, and so Madoka came here.
Madoka could see why Homura liked the night sky so much, its beauty was mesmerizing and filled with so many stars. When she first saw it she forgot how to breathe, which was probably why she would call it “a breathless sight”.
“Do you like it?” Homura asked, turning away from the sky and looking straight at Madoka. “I do…” Madoka replied, her voice trailing off at the end as she got spellbound once more. She could never stop looking at this, but the beautiful sky reminded her of Homura for some reason.
Maybe it was because of how dark and mysterious it looked, so similar to Homura. It was also because of how beautiful it was, its magnificent stars shining beautifully in the darkness. The way the moon was hiding also reminded her of Homura, who always kept her feelings beneath a mask of coldness. But when Homura let her guard down, revealing her true self, it was a sight to behold, just like the beauty of the night sky. Madoka found herself filled with unbridled joy whenever Homura revealed her true personality, likes, and dislikes. It was a moment that made her heart leap with happiness.
She wished Homura would show that side more often but for reasons unknown, her friend refused to show it. Every time her mask came off, she’d fix it immediately, leaving everyone to wonder if they had imagined it. However, when she is with Madoka, it takes her longer to put the mask back on, as if she feels more comfortable showing her true self to her. It makes her feel special, but she sometimes feels like thinking that way is too selfish.
Madoka and Homura sat side by side, gazing up at the twinkling stars above. The night was quiet and peaceful, with only the occasional rustling of leaves or chirping of crickets breaking the silence. Well, she assumed Homura was looking at the stars, she couldn't tell where the other girl's gaze was fixed. Still, the simple act of being together in this tranquil moment was enough to bring a sense of calm and contentment to both of them.
A bolt of light suddenly disturbed the calm sky, streaking diagonally across the horizon as if it were falling from the sky. At that moment, Madoka's mind was jolted with recognition, and she realized exactly what it was that she was witnessing.
Madoka leaped up from her seat, causing a gentle breeze to stir around her. “Look, it’s a shooting star!” she squealed, pointing at the sky in excitement. This was her very first time witnessing one, and she couldn’t contain her joy and wonder at the magical sight.
Homura laughed from behind her, causing Madoka’s cheeks to flush with warmth as her heart started beating even faster. It was already beating fast from the excitement of seeing a shooting star, and now it was even faster hearing the other girl’s sweet laugh. She felt very lucky to be experiencing two rare events at the same time - witnessing a shooting star and hearing Homura's laugh.
Homura walked towards her and stood beside her, gazing up at the sky with a smile on her face. Her voice was filled with wonder as she remarked, "You rarely ever see shooting stars nowadays. We must be really lucky tonight, huh?" Madoka couldn't agree more. She was grateful for the opportunity to witness such a beautiful sight and to hear Homura's laughter.
As she turned to face Homura, her own smile beamed with joy, Homura couldn't help but feel that this was even more beautiful and precious than a thousand shooting stars combined. Madoka remembered something and shook Homura’s arm gently. "Oh, we have to make a wish!"
Madoka closed her eyes and clasped her hands together as if in prayer while Homura watched her. After a few moments of silence, Madoka opened her eyes and looked at Homura excitedly. “Did you make a wish?” Homura nodded in response. "What did you wish for?" Madoka asked, barely able to contain her curiosity. Homura's amethyst eyes twinkled with amusement as she giggled softly. "If I told you, it wouldn't come true, now would it?" Madoka couldn't help but whine at that, having forgotten about that part of the deal. “Could you at least give me a hint? Pretty please…?” she pleaded. Homura giggled again, sounding like music to Madoka's ears. "I’m sorry, Madoka, I can't do that. It's against the rules," she replied with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Madoka knew that she couldn't get an answer out of her friend and whined again, feeling a little disappointed.
“Oh, fine.” Madoka conceded with a childish fake pout.
The both of them stared at the stars in silence, before Homura spoke up, “You know, the stars truly are beautiful tonight. It’s kinda hard seeing them in the city, with all the lights.” Madoka hummed in agreement. Living in the city, it was rare to see so many stars clearly. Usually, the lights and sometimes smogs of the city obscured the true beauty of the night sky, leaving nothing but a veil of darkness overhead. But out here, away from the business of the city, the stars shone with such a brilliance that left Madoka feeling small yet awestruck.
Madoka peered at Homura inquisitively, taking her attention off the sky once more. “How did you find out about this place?”
“I…” Homura began, pausing to think about what to say. She was unsure if she could share this detail with someone like Madoka, a person quick to worry. But since Madoka was asking, she had to give her the full answer; Madoka would know if she was lying anyway. “I…explored, for a bit,” she admitted, hesitating a little as she wondered if she chose her words correctly.
Madoka blinked. “You…explored?” she paused a little to think about her answer. But this hill was just a few steps out of the city, so wouldn’t that mean-? “Wait, you went outside the city, by yourself?” she managed to stop herself from shrieking in worry. Homura gazed at her, wondering what to say. “Well…yes, besides, it’s not so far off.”
Madoka decided to calm down. It probably wouldn't do much if she panicked over something that happened…when did she find this place?
“When did you explore?” Madoka asked, looking at Homura curiously. Homura looked at her and then looked to the sky, seemingly pondering the matter. “I guess…when I was 11?”
“I see…” Madoka looked away from her and looked towards the sky to take in its entirety once more. They sat there in silence for a bit, gazing at the stars. After a few minutes, Madoka ended up making small talk to hear Homura’s beautiful voice again, their chatting eventually made them forget about the skies because of how deep they were in conversation. The night was peaceful, and all Madoka could hear was her voice and Homura’s along with the occasional chirping of the crickets and the blowing of the wind.
She didn’t want this night to end.
But alas, everything ends eventually, and so she and Homura end up parting ways after a few hours together.
As she walked home, Madoka couldn't help but feel very happy, as she got to experience so many wonderful things in one night. This night was truly magical, and it was even more magical because Madoka got to spend it with the girl she loved.
She giggled and walked home in delight.

MADOHOMU’S IS IN COMMISSION!!! (Fantasy unlocked MadoHomu!)
I’m back, this time with a MadoHomu fic!! And yes, I used the cliche “lovers stargazing”, simply because I felt like it, LOL. I’ve been writing too much Homu-centric angst and I desperately need a cure, so here it is.
I freaking LOVE MadoHomu, I hope I wrote this well!
Also, don’t expect me to use the vivid imagery a lot, it’s not my strong suit and I absolutely suck at it, LOL.
Anyway, I should publish another Homu-centric angsty one-shot in a few days, maybe.
I really hoped you enjoyed! Also, you can consider this test writing, majority of my one-shots are tests.

Chapter Nine
His breath is ragged as he wipes the blood from his eyes. His wound on his face burns as he can drops his sword to the ground. He can feel the Devil’s dark influence fade as his body disintegrates into ash before all their eyes. He cannot rest though, as he hears her sniffles and moans of pain. He turns and joins the small group surrounding her. Luke is holding her, running his singed hand through her mussed hair. He is whispering to her in an angelic language as she shook in his arms.
Kylo feels a pang of guilt as he looks at her broken body. At the two gaping bloody wounds where her wings once were. He wipes his long hair out of his face again as Vicrul and the others join him, all covered in the evidence of battle. They had done it. They had turned their backs on the Devil and staged a coup along with Luke and the other Ethereals. But it didn’t go exactly to plan, as evidence of the scene before him. If he had only…
“Kylo” she voice pulls him out of the memory. He opens his eyes and finally meets hers. She looks about the same; same ageless beautiful face surrounded by long auburn hair. Her emerald eyes deep and full of the knowledge of the universe. She smiles softly at him as she waves a hand at him, sending the a wave a calmness his way. “Mara” he grits out, his shame and guilt alighting anew.
“It was not your fault Kylo. It never was. It was mine and Luke’s.” she says. His face crumples, his chin quivering at her mention of that night. “We were overconfident in our plan and didn’t expect him to have as much power as he did. I paid the price for our hubris, but we learned something and that’s all that matters”. She shuts her eyes and send him another calming wave. “You saved me Kylo. Luke and I will never forget that”.
He clinches his jaw tightly, his fangs pricking at his gums. “Drop the glamour. You are safe here. Plus it will be easier for me to read the signature” she says softly but forcefully. He sighs, pulling himself together. He drops the glamour, his eyes glowing red as his magick roars free.
“There you are” she says softly as others behind him let out sounds of surprise at the volume of his power. He feels his magical bonds loosen as he sits up, stretching and popping his neck. “The mighty Kylo Ren, the great defender of the balance” she says slowly, her voice growing more otherworldly. His red eyes meet her whited out ones as she allows the magick to take over.
His mind is suddenly brought somewhere else. He looks around at the dark barren landscape, his bare feet meeting the rough course sand as the dark starry sky above swirls and twinkles. He hears Mara say his name as he turns to face her. She is whole here; her wide majestic dove gray wings fold gracefully over her shoulders and white dress as she hovers just above the ground.
Flashes of that night pass by his eyes again. “You have suffered so” she says calmly “you and the others didn’t deserve that. I am sorry.” He shakes his head, willing those memories away. “It doesn’t matter now. I have accepted my fate. I just want to find out what is happening” he says, taking a step forward towards her. She nods, looking away from him. “Shall we begin?”
Kylo nods, preparing himself for pain. The Devil routinely rummaged through his mind as a torture tactic, making sure his warriors remained loyal. It would feel like a hot knife ripping through. He squeezed his eyes shut at the first prod into his mind.
“Calm yourself Kylo” she says softly as she extracts the victim’s signature from his mind. Mara was gentle with him, her magick soft and light. She doesn’t linger, leaving quickly not to cause him discomfort. She mumbles something as he opens his eyes. She is looking at him sympathetically as she flicks her hand, allowing the signature to become visual.
It hovers over the black sand in a hazy orb, the edges sparking and swirling. The front clears to show the young Witch and her day to day activities and thoughts. They hear her worries about her lack of control with her powers, how her ex had cheated on her. They watch her walk into the same pub Kylo had that night to wallow in her sorrow. They watch her silently cry into her pint glass as she struggles to keep items from levitating around her.
His jaw tightens as he watches her pay for her over priced drink and walk out the familiar back door. She cries into her hands as she started walking back to the tube station. The snow swirled around her as she suddenly looked back at the two large men who appeared out of thin air. Her fear spikes as she raises her hands, her magic sparking purple around her fingertips.
One of the men smiles maliciously, his fangs and claws lengthening as he walks towards her. She is so focused on the one man she doesn’t see the one behind her grab her, injecting some substance into her neck. She screams as her veins start to turn black around the puncture sight. The demon holding her nods to the one in front of him as his finger hits her pressure point, causing her to go unconscious.
Kylo watches Mara’s eyes narrow as she freezes the vision, focusing on the poor girls neck. The poison has spread up her face and down to her chest. “Interesting” she murmurs as she lets the vision continue. The one demon scoops her up over his shoulder as the other taps his hidden earpiece. “#11 obtained” he growls. He lets go and touches the wall magicking a portal. The two men enter it as it disappears behind them leaving no trace except random footprints in the snow.
The orb pulses, the vision becoming more and more staticky. Mara focuses on it and the picture changes. Wherever the victim is dimly lit, made of dark stone. She huddled in a corner, dirty and bleeding. Her fingers claw at the stone. She’s crying from what looks like pain as she grabs at her legs. The poison continues to spread throughout her system.
She hears something and looks up. Her eyes widen in fear as she screams again. But this time he catches something. “Stop” he says. Mara freezes the vision. “Zoom into her eyes” Mara does so, focusing on the girl’s dark brown eyes and blown pupils.
He learned long ago you can see another’s magick in their eyes. It’s the basis of the human saying of “the eyes are windows to the soul”. He can tell her magick is weakening, the glow dampening. Almost like it was being sucked out of her.
Mara’s breath catches as she realizes it as well. “Those beasts” she hisses as she lets the vision play to the end, which concludes with her passing out again. Mara raises her hand placing the orb in stasis as she turns to Kylo. “This is worse than I imagined” she says as she floats to him. “His followers are attempting to resurrect him using other’s magick. Those monsters probably have his Grimoire as well.”
Kylo can feel his anger rising. “How is this possible? You and Luke both said he was gone after we banished him, and at great cost to you…” “I know” she says interrupting him “we didn’t know at the time how powerful him and his guards had become. I only realized it when I was captured. There are only so many ways to restore the banished and they are using the most profane way…”
He watches a tear roll down her flawless cheek. “Luke and I used the balance to disarm him so you could finish him off. If we can catch him before he becomes his fully corporal form we can do it again and this time finish the job for good” she says sternly. Kylo looks at her confused “but who has the power to…” “You and your match do. It has been foretold that two will become one and finish off the darkness and keep the balance…” she says as the environment fides away and they are sitting in their chairs again.
He blinks his eyes, sharpening his vision. The witches swarm Mara. “What did you see my mistress? Is it more then we feared?” the blonde one said. “Yes, Cassandra it is. We must prepare and find a way to find his followers so we can save these people. He will have to keep them alive for transference so we must act in hast. Selene, my seeing stones please…” Mara says, igniting a flurry of activity.
Kylo cracks his neck again as he stands. “Ah she’s here” Mara says lowly as candles and various objects are placed before her. Kylo looks at her “Who?” “Your match, your future” she says staring past him. He follows her line of sight and his breath hitches to see Rey standing there.
Her eyes are wide and sparkling, her soft mouth agape as she stares at the glowing gold pattern of lines going down her arm. Her power crackles causing a shiver to go down Kylo’s back. Her hazel eyes widen, full of questions. She’s afraid, he thinks as Mara waves a hand towards her. “Come Reyna” Mara says “it’s time for you to learn who you really are.”
