TROPED TIMELOOP — ROUND TWO!

It’s time for the Second Round of TROPED TIMELOOP! All of the prompts for this event will feature the Time Loop Trope! The Writing Period for Round Two starts NOW, and will be on a rolling basis, with a new TIMELOOP Prompt dropping about every twenty-three (23) days! While the OFFICIAL writing period for Round One is over and Round Two goes for three weeks, you can submit a fic based on these prompts until the end of the event in September and they will still be included in voting! Be sure to include the theme, tropes, and timeloops into your fic.

For Round Two, please write a fic that includes:

Theme: Holiday

Trope 1: Fake Dating

Trope 2: Murder Mystery AU

Trope 3: Multiple Perspectives

Trope 4: One Character is an Author

Event Trope: Time Loop AU!

In depth definitions of the tropes and the theme will be linked under the cut! Please take a look at this Google Doc, as there will be extra information you NEED to know regarding how to use the tropes, and if you have questions don’t hesitate to ask!

There is NO Word Count Limit! You may write as much or as little as you like as long as you fully incorporate the prompt!

All Fandoms are welcome to participate!

That would be total fine! You can totally use a holiday that is present in the source material! A little The 100 Fic set during Unity Day? Joining Donna and Tom on Treat Yo' Self Day? Celebrating Federation Day on the Starship Enterprise? We love it!

If you want to create a new holiday, that is only present in your fic, that would be awesome too! For this to work, however, please make sure you clearly define what the holiday is and how it is celebrated, so that the use of the Holiday in your story can satisfy the trope. Just saying "oh its harvest day" and then doing nothing to explain what harvest day is, why it is celebrated or important, or to establish that the holiday is happening would not work. Let us know if you need any more clarification on this issue, but we love the creativity and are excited to see what you come up with!
