I think so many people are caught up in the "ridiculousness" of a trauma trigger that they neglect to explore what that trigger is trying to tell you, so people aren't fully exploring what their needs are.

A specific scent triggers me, and is it ridiculous? Sure, but there is something that trigger is telling me - it tells me when I don't feel safe, it tells me what doesn't make me feel safe. The trigger may be ridiculous, sure, but what it is telling you isn't. I implore you to look past when it feels like you should just "get over it" because it is so ridiculous and explore what your reactions and triggers are trying to tell you.

This is really messy BUT I just needed to talk about Mutant Mayhem Raph for a second.

I love how his character is handled in mutant mayhem so fucking much- like. He’s obviously violent and rough like the other Raphs but also isn’t afraid to be affectionate.

I also love how he rarely directs his anger towards his brothers. It’s honestly such a breath of fresh air after 2012 Raph (not that I dislike 2012 Raph, I actually like him a lot, it’s just yk different). He mainly only takes out his anger on bad guys and stuff it’s great.

ALSO WHEN HE SAVED DONNIE FROM GETTING HIT BY A CAR BY TACKLING HIM OUT OF THE WAY. I LOVE HIM. And how he was the first to offer singing for Donnie even though he was actively getting tortured I’m in shambles.

“For the first time in your life, you didn’t sound lame. You actually kinda sounded like a leader.” The fact that RAPH is the one who says this line is just so important to me. All other versions of Raph (to my knowledge) have always rebelled against Leo’s leadership (so does MM!Raph a bit) and to have RAPH be the one to say this. I cant.

i found the change of claudia's actress to be quite fitting for the 2nd season after all. new place, new chapter of their adventure, new claudia, its just make sense to me. love bailey bass to the moon and back but people act like claudia is being killed or something when delainey haynes replaced her like💀💀at first it was understandable why some people are sad because how loved bailey's claudia is, but some people are picking apart delainey's portrayal and things that doesnt even really matter to shit on her its just weird and unfair to claudia as a character and both of the hardworking, sweet and extremely talented actresses. if you just couldnt see past the replacement, especially when delainey is EXCEPTIONAL in this role, then thats your problem and not hers.
