The Batman Fanfic: A Little Robin’s Beginning
Chapter:1 Birthday
July 19th it was a nice cool early morning as cool air gentle blew into a little child's bedroom decorated in simple child things a couple of toys and books with a little desk with paper and crayons for coloring with some of them of drawings of Gotham's hero as the sun began to peek through the window softly landing on the face of a little 5-year-old boy his face a soft cream color with rosie round cheeks like peaches their eyes slowly opening to big round innocent baby blue eyes that were gently rubbed awake with little hands to help the little one wake up from sleep letting out a soft yawn some footsteps were heard approaching dream door coming with a gentle knock at the door slowly opened revealing a kind of woman in her 50s wearing a light pink dress with lavender flowers a white apron tied around it her kind grey eyes full of love and kindness " good morning little Timothy happy birthday as well." Letting out a small yawn Tim smiled at his nanny "G..good morning Maggie!”
At Wayne Enterprises
“Yes, yes, the files on the East African irrigation project have been organized! Yes… yes I will have them on your desk by the end of the day… yes… goodbye” said a young woman. Janet Drake was Tim Drake’s mother; she was in her late twenties and had jet-black hair in a pixie haircut. Janet had blue eyes, just like her son. Janet sat at her desk, she wore a dark blue business suit consisting of a suit jacket and pencil skirt, and she wore a white button-down blouse that was open enough for her pearl necklace to be visible (her husband got it for her years ago, he never told her that he stole it for her). “Hmmmmm, oooh today is Tim’s birthday. I wanna check in with how he’s doing. I’m really gonna plow through this work to see him. He must be up by now~” said Janet as she picked up her cell phone and called her apartment, presuming Tim’s nanny would answer. Janet Drake worked as a department secretary at Wayne Industries, she was lucky enough to get the job through connections and a recommendation. As much as Janet took pride in her good work, it made her sad to not be with her son as much. Hopefully, tonight will be different. Soon the phone answered, “Hello Drake's residence." “Hello Mrs. Florence how are things going is everything almost ready?” “Yes Mrs. Drake the food is all prepared and we're just finishing up the cake and the guest should be arriving at home little has been excited all morning about it he's such a sweet little one." Maggie said cheerfully “I already informed Mr. Drake about everything and he'll be there as soon he finishes his meeting." Mr. Drake was Janet's husband and father Tim who owned their company Drake Inc. and worked in partnership with Wayne Industries “Hello Maggie, i'm happy to hear that everything is coming together for Tim’s party. We’re all lucky to have you looking after him for the day, as well as finishing the final preparations for his birthday party. I’ll definitely make sure to be home in time to set everything up~” said Janet as she was typing on her computer at the same time, there was still a lot of work that she had to finish up before she could leave. By the look of things, Janet thought that it would be impossible for her to leave early when she had all that extra work to do. Yes, this was being a businesswoman in a nutshell. “Maggie, can you please put Tim on the phone? I want to wish him happy birthday~” said Janet in that sweet motherly tone of hers the sort of tone that she had when she wasn’t addressing any of her office colleagues.“Of course Mrs. Drake Timothy dearie your mother's on the phone she would like to talk to you." She handed Tim the phone after he put the spoon down mixing the chocolate frosting for the cake "Hi Mama!" “Hi there Babydoll, Momma wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday this morning. I hope you’re having a great day today. Mommy’s going to make sure that she gets home on time to celebrate~” said Janet who took a break from typing to fiddle with the right side of her blouse collar.
“Mommy’s got your gift and she’s going to make sure to give it to you later. Now is there anything else you’d like to ask Mommy before she goes Tim?~” asked Janet whose assistant came in and signaled the young businesswoman’s attention as Tim thought for a moment " No mama I.I good I c..can't wait t..to see you and d..daddy for the party soon I love you bunches mama ." “Awwww Mommy will give you the best birthday kisses over the phone, mwah, mwah, mwah~,” said Janet as she pretended to kiss her son over the phone. Janet then glanced over to her office door where she saw her assistant was standing with someone familiar. Janet’s assistant just showed the man in, he looked familiar now because it was Bruce Wayne; the man who hired her.
“Mommy will be home later Sweetie to give you some real Birthday kisses. Mommy loves you Tim~” said Janet as she concluded the call before hanging up and turning to her Boss. “Mr. Wayne, I’m sorry to have kept you waiting. I was just on a call with my son to check up with him, it’s his birthday today” said Janet who shook hands with Mr. Wayne, he was always checking in with her to see how she was. “I see Janet he must be very excited." He replied he'd seen Janet's son a couple of Tim was a very little guy always happy to see his mother whenever he could and excited whenever he got to meet Bruce from time to time and seemed to really admire Bruce though it might be due to his father Mr. Drake not being around all the time he couldn't help but a little sad for Tim not having his father around much and wanting a male role model “I really hope that I can get all these files organized before later. I want to be home in time to celebrate Tim’s birthday. Still, I’ll make sure to get everything done~” said Janet who quickly sat back down to try and get started on everything “Mr. Wayne, because all of this can be done on the computer; I’ll transfer everything on my laptop and I’ll be sure to take everything home tonight and work on it… after Tim’s party of course” said Janet, who thought this was a good idea. Being at home would give her more time to finish her work as soon as her son’s birthday celebrations concluded for the night and she put him to bed.
“That will be fine Janet actually you know what how about you go ahead and take off early these files aren't going anywhere and can wait." He offered deciding to make it easier for Janet today and be able to spend time with her son Tim will probably be happy to have his mom home early as he saw Janet's reaction to the offer “Ooooh… th-thank you so much Mr. Wayne! Ooooh now I’ll be home and have plenty of time to prepare for the party! Ooooh I’m so happy! I’d better get everything together~” said Janet as she quickly started gathering her things together and was about to hurry out to head home when she stopped and turned to Mr. Wayne.“You’ve been so nice to me Mr. Wayne, ever since you hired me. Please feel free to stop by to say hi, we’ll have plenty of cake left~” smiled Janet happily before making her way to the elevator and making her way down to the building’s parking garage. Janet then got into her car and drove back to the apartment, where she was excited to see her beautiful little boy.
Meanwhile, Tim was helping Maggie put rainbow sprinkles on the cake as she set up the candles all red white and yellow striped once the cake was all set she double-checked the snacks and food table for the guests it was decided they would go for something simple like finger foods and a bowl of fruit punch and ice tea some goodie bags for the children after the party games and magician should be here after the guest arrive On her way home, Janet stopped to pick up some last minute balloons and decorations for the party. Janet then stopped by the toy store to pick up Tim’s gift, she then went to her local pizzeria to pick up five boxes of pizzas for the party. Janet then returned home at 2:30 PM, and she was able to bring everything inside herself.
“Tim, Maggie, I’m home. Now where’s my birthday boy?~” asked Janet who placed everything she bought onto the kitchen table. Janet then took her suit jacket into her bedroom and left it on the bed. Furthermore, Janet didn’t need to change clothes and she enjoyed wearing her white blouse and skirt at home as much as she enjoyed wearing her attire outside the office. Janet then went to look for her son and wished him a happy birthday. When she came to his room she saw that Maggie was just putting on a cute little blue bow tie on Tim's new birthday outfit cute deep blue shorts with suspenders with a light blue dress shirt with a little red bowtie despite him being 5 Tim was very small for his age due to being born near premature resulting Tim's body to grow slowly causing some to mistake him for a three-year-old babe though despite being small Tim was smart too and always had a bright mind one of the things that makes Janet so proud of him
“Hello, Tim! How’s Mommy’s little birthday boy? Ooooh, you look so cute in your birthday attire, Maggie has really gotten you looking very handsome~” said Janet who was excited to see how cute her son looked all done up in his birthday attire. The sweet mother waited for Maggie to finish getting her son all tidy looking, Janet then afterward went to give Tim a big birthday hug. “Mommy was able to leave early to help prepare for the party. She also did some last-minute shopping; she even got you something you’re only going to get later” said Janet as she kissed Tim’s cheek before getting up to speak with Maggie about the final preparations.
Tim was really excited to see his Mama home for his birthday hopefully Daddy would be here soon too as he toddled along with his Mama and Maggie downstairs to the living room Tim saw a big pink box wrapped in a silk gold ribbon it must be his surprise from his Mama as his eyes sparkled in awe of the pretty material when suddenly they all heard the doorbell ring " oh the guests are here!" Maggie declared heading to the door to greet the guests “Yes, it sounds like they are here. Tim, would you like to answer the door? If you need me, Maggie and I will be in the living room putting up the last of the decorations. Off you go now and welcome all your little friends inside, my darling boy” said Janet as she collected the bag of the decorations she bought before.
“Alright Maggie, would you mind helping me get these last decorations put up? These are the last ones, and then we can get the food out for Tim’s guests. Oh… I wonder when John will be home. Doesn’t he remember that it’s his son’s birthday today?” Said Janet as she got to her feet and made her way downstairs with the bag of decorations while Tim’s guests started shuffling inside.“Hello everyone. Brad, Felicity, Cora, and Maxwell; it’s nice to see all of you again. Please follow me along to the living room, Tim is really happy to see all of you again. Please, everyone, make yourselves comfortable and we’ll get this party going~” said Janet who was trying to sound excited and upbeat for Tim. For a moment she stood in the hallway, fiddling with her blouse collar, she was worried about where her husband was and the fact that he wasn’t picking up made her even more worried By all the kids were playing games and won little prizes and munching on pizza and snacks as the grown laughed and enjoyed watching their kids having fun especially when the magician came and was putting on a show for the kids showing off tricks and magic just as the performer was showing the kids a little that can cute tricks that Janet heard the door ring again “Oh… and who could that be?”asked Janet, who was excited to excuse herself from the boring conversation she was having with the adults. One of Janet’s adult friends was talking about how her son had been accepted into a school for gifted youngsters. Another one of Janet’s friends was talking about something similar with their children.
“Why am I even friends with these people? Tim may not be like all these kids academically, but he’s the sweetest nicest boy I could ever have wished for~” said Janet to herself as she walked down the hall towards the front entrance to see who it could be.
“Oh, Mr. Wayne? Welcome! Please come in; you came just in time. We still have a lot of food out, I just took out some fresh trays so please help yourself~” said Janet as she led Mr. Wayne into her home, along the hallway of nice copies of old paintings as the two made their way to the living room.
The kids were still having fun while the adults were chatting away as they came in. As Bruce entered the place of the present he brought for Tim he saw that the magician was just finishing up his show the birthday boy noticed Bruce's arrival "M..Mr. Wayne you here at my birthday!" excitement in his voice as he ran/toddled up to greet Mr. Wayne causing Bruce to chuckle "Hello Tim and happy birthday to you as well your mother had invited me to join the party and it looks like everyone is having fun."
Noticed how the kids continued to play games and the adults talked among each other until Felicity noticed Bruce's arrival “Thank you for coming Mr. Wayne. Tim has always told me how much he really looks up to you. It’s really sweet of you to show up for him~” said Janet as she took Mr. Wayne’s gift and put it on a table with the others to be opened later. “I honestly am starting to worry when Jack is supposed to be home. Tim’s father is already several hours late. I really, really hope nothing is wrong… doesn’t he realize that it’s his Son’s birthday?” said Janet, she felt tears beginning to form in her eyes because of how worried she was. Janet then excused herself for several moments from her guests and went to the bathroom to splash some water in her eyes. "Sorry everyone, I just needed to step out for a moment,” said Janet as she sat with Mr. Wayne and the other adult guests. Janet really was worried about her husband’s whereabouts, but she was trying to look strong for Tim and not give her guests the idea that she was crying.
Soon it was time for presents the kids sat in a circle with Tim in the middle as child handed their presents to Tim the first one was from Kiki, Felicity's granddaughter the wrapping was pink and blue with white ribbon and when he opened it was a set of cowboys and horses set with cattle that came with a book that Tim really liked reading. “Thank you, Kiki I love it."
He thanked her as he received the next one with green and blue stripes with a deep blue bow from Maximum and Zechariah, Cora's twin boys “Such wonderful gifts Tim, please remember to say thank you~” said Janet who was trying not to sound worried, but was starting to feel better as she reminded herself that Jack would be home soon and they were only a few hours into the party. Janet could see how happy Tim was to get his wonderful gifts. “Oh and this gift is from Mommy, it’s something you’ve wanted for a long time~,” said Janet as she handed her son a big pink box wrapped in a silk gold ribbon. Janet then sat back down, feeling much better than before. Tim excitedly opened the box and inside revealed a soft honey brown teddy bear! With big blue eyes like Tim's very plush and soft like a marshmallow pink velvet ears and around its neck was a red ribbon with a little gold locket with a picture of his parents and Tim when he was a baby when opened Tim his eyes widened in awe as he excitedly held his new teddy and hugging his Momma showing how much he loves, just then they heard the door opens revealing it to be Mr. Drake struggling to carry a wrapped gift in red paper with a big blue ribbon as he accidentally bumped it against the wall a 'ding' " hello everyone I'm so sorry I'm for being late Janet the reason well I had to go to the other side of town for this and well haha had to put it together myself haha ."he smiled sheepishly hoping this would make up for his delay at Tim's party speaking of " Happy Birthday son I'm sorry Daddy was late but I got a special surprise for you !" He said with a big smile but then almost lost his balance with the heavy gift until Bruce got up to help, Mr. Drake wasn’t as tall and big as Wayne but he was strong in his own way “Hey thanks Bruce this was a bit heavier than I thought haha." He laughed as he placed the gift in the living room As soon as Mr. Drake finished moving his gift inside; Janet went over and hugged her husband as she missed him so much. Janet didn’t care if everyone was looking at them, she was so worried when she hadn’t heard from Mr. Drake in a while; she was happy to have her man home again.
“I missed you Honeybear, I didn’t know that you were going to be late. I’m so happy to have you home again. Tim is having fun~” said Janet as she kissed her husband’s cheek before going to see Tim’s reaction to that cute teddy bear that she gave him. "Daddy!" Tim exclaimed happily running to his father for a hug! Mr. Drake chuckled lifting his son into his arms and bouncing Tim up and down making the little boy giggle in delight at his Daddy being home for his birthday “Hehehehe Mommy is also happy to have Daddy home, I missed you so much as well Jack. Tim is really happy with his gifts, but you being home for his birthday has really perked him up~” said Janet who couldn’t stop crying tears of joy at the sight of her husband being home again.
Janet was very relieved with the fact that her husband was home safe. “Oh Jack, look who also came to the party~,” said Janet as she was able to compose herself again and turned the attention of all the adults to Mr. Wayne so her husband knew that the famous “Prince of Gotham” was in their home.
"Mr. Wayne what a surprise thank you for coming.”Happy to see his business partner Mr. Wayne here “He’s such a good boss, he gave me the rest of the day off to finish setting the party up~” said Janet happily as she turned towards a mirror to reapply some red lipstick to her face. “I’m happy to see how much fun we’re all having, would you like to have cake now and sing happy birthday~,” asked Janet to Tim, as she kissed her adorable son’s cheek; yet almost forgetting to mind herself in front of their guests despite how affectionate she was towards him.Janet often still treated Tim like her baby, as being a mom after all was her biggest dream in life. Heading to the table the kids surrounded Tim as Janet lit the candles on the cake and they sang happy birthday to him as Tim blew his candles making his birthday wish they clapped in congrats as Maggie cut the cake to serve everyone John went to Janet as she gave Tim a birthday kisses "Janet would you come with me for a few minutes privately I have to ask you something I promise it won't be long." Janet signed but smiled as John tousled his son's hair making him giggle "Of course John dear mama and daddy need to talk about grown-up things for a bit Timmy we'll be back in the meantime enjoy with your friends okay sweetie." hugged Tim as she and John went upstairs to talk privately in the meantime Tim was enjoying his cake vanilla with chocolate buttercream with rainbow sprinkles the icing getting on his rosie cheeks as the other kids enjoyed in the meantime as Bruce watched happily for the little one he couldn't help but get a feeling about Mr. Drake needed to talk to his wife about but decided to shake it off for now as he suddenly felt his phone vibrate and when he checked the bat signal was on alert so it looked like he'll have to cut it short as The Batman was needed before leaving he went over to Tim to wish him a happy birthday and goodbye “Oh… Goodnight… Mr. Wayne… see you tomorrow Sir~” said Janet who was kinda surprised to see that Bruce Wayne had to leave so abruptly. As Janet watched her boss leave in a hurry, she wondered what the emergency could be.

Tim mimics how Cass walks and carries herself so that the two of them are always in sync.
It's the scariest fucking thing for Bruce to witness when he walks out of the Cave- sleep deprived and halfway hallucinating- to see twin shadows glide across the hallways

Young, neglected characters aren't always incompetent at taking care of themselves
I know it's not what some of you want to hear, but- despite the perfect savior concept of getting them into a batter family- that doesn't mean that
A. They even WANT to be 'saved' and
B. That they aren't doing a decent job at taking care of themselves
The thing about having independence at a young age, is that you learn pretty quickly at least the basics or you fail
If you make it too obvious while going to school (esp elementary but also middle), you will be caught
If you don't have a supply of food or the ability to make food, you will be caught (either by police or any adult) or very sick and THEN die or caught
If you change attitudes and routines completely and suddenly, you will be noticed and possibly caught
NEGLECTED KIDS WHO LAST MORE THAN A FEW DAYS KNOW THIS (even if subconsciously)
"Saving the poor baby" is good for children who are just recently out on their own (think a couple weeks, maybe a couple months if you stretch it)
But a couple years??? I'm sure a few children would like someone to take care of them but most of them (while also maybe yearning for the same) would rather not and I'll tell you three big reasons why:
Nobody noticed that they needed help when they truly needed it, regardless of the fact that they hid it with all their power, ergo others are not to be trusted because they do not care.
And/or
It has been like for as long as they remember and change that drastic is hard for any adult let alone a child to imagine.
And/or
They are perfectly capable of keeping themselves alive and do not need outside help (this can be a statement of truth, misleasing pride, or fear of change/other people)
"Wanting to save them" may result in anger at the idea that they are incompetent, especially if the child has been taking care of themselves for so long. Cause regardless of age, children have always been resilient and adaptable and capable.
Not every child will be saved from a bad situation and they know that. Children aren't stupid, and they aren't stupid to assume they can take care of themselves when so many have had to in the past and will have to in the future.
An Alternative:
Stop the narrative of "saving them" from such a terrible way of life (the only life they've known or have known for a long while).
START doing more of those skittish, feral, alley cat things where you either gain the characters trust and learn to be a family with TIME or you just like straight up steal the baby and live with the fact that your going to have a lot of screaming and scratching and broken belongings for a few weeks until the baby learns to feel sort of safe or makes an escape lol

Okay so I saw someone talking about how the Drakes didn’t actually just care about Tim’s grades or how he reflected on them and, yes, that’s true, but I felt like the discussion was kind of missing some very important nuance. Because the big issue is Tim felt like they didn’t care about him beyond his grades/image. Not that it isn’t important that they did actually care about Tim, but they didn’t show they loved him adequately enough that he could see and internalize it, which made a fairly big impact on Tim in his early childhood. If the love doesn’t translate into actions it means very little.

"...I did?" Sit up... woah. Head rush. "Thanks for not taking advantage of an unconscious guy." Because many locals absolutely would have stolen his wallet and phone by now.
_____
The little boy sitting beside him made a face. Like he was confused by what the teenager was asking. How would he take advantage? It wasn't like he was an enemy that needed to be killed. Mugging maybe?
"Is it common for kids to mug you after you pass out?" Ruby asked. "I just wanted to help."
The boy said it like he was asking in general. As if he wasn't sure how people behaved. That and the European accent most certainly identified him as "not local". Or only recently moved at least.

I dag startede min roadtrip gennem Tassie!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meget fjollede dyr.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mandag (Bicheno - Launceston):
Meget dejlig strand :))
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Alt i alt en virkelig god dag :))

New Dragon’s World Chapter 17
Chapter 17: Heading Out "Gah! What's your problem, Sarah?!" Titus exclaimed. "My problem?! What's yours?!" "What are you talking about?" Titus asked, not understanding why she was so mad. "I mean why are you being so mean to Rick?" Sarah explained. "Well…I…" Titus stuttered. "I…I just don't trust him. That's all."   Sarah sighed angrily. Just as she was about to speak, she noticed everyone looking at them. "We'll talk about this later. But I will tell you this: You be nice to Rick, Titus? Got it?! He helped me through the most painful part of my life." Sarah whispered. Sarah opened the door to Lucas' car and got in, riding shotgun. Everyone walked up to Titus, confused about what just happened. "Everything OK?" Ben asked. "Let's just go…" Titus said equally as angry as his wife. Titus and Lucas started their cars back up and drove away from the park, continuing their journey.  Sarah rode with Lucas this time, as did Rick. Sean and Tim both offered to ride with Titus, his parents and Drake so as to make room for Sarah and Rick. Titus kept a stern eye on the road, his anger swelling. "Dad, what's wrong with Mom?" Drake asked worriedly. Titus let out a long, bothered sigh. "Drake, your mom and I just had a little argument. Things will be okay. Alright, buddy?" Titus smiled. "You and mom aren't gonna get divorced?" Drake asked worriedly. "Of course not! I love your mom…and I love you, son." Drake nodded, smiling, reassuring himself things would be fine between his parents. Just then, he heard noises in the back of the car. He swore that he had heard something moving around amongst the luggage. He leaned over the seat, noticing that it was Crystal who was hiding in the back! "Crystal!!" Drake exclaimed. Crystal shushed Drake so as not to be found out. She rearranged all of the luggage so that it covered her entire body but left just enough room for her to breathe. "What's wrong, Drake?" Sean asked.
Everyone except for Titus looked at Drake. "Oh! I just remembered that Crystal wanted me to call her when we get to the next town!" Drake said, lying. "If you want Drake, I could give you my cell phone and you could call her now." Titus offered to his son. Drake shook his head and thanked his dad for the offer. He figured that once they got into the next town, he would ask Crystal everything. In the meantime, with little to nothing to do, Drake shut his eyes and slowly drifted off into sleep, as did Sean and Tim. For that time, the three friends slept together peacefully… Titus looked back at the three sleeping together and smiled as did his parents. For the next couple hours, no words were spoken…so not to wake them up. Several hours later, Drake awoke. He stretched and yawned as he looked outside. The scenery was different. Drake noticed that they had made it to the countryside. Everywhere he looked, it was nothing but fields. Fields that stretched as far as the eye could see. Drake looked on in awe, a smile on his face. He had never been to the country before. Even though there wasn't much to look at, Drake's childish wonder and excitement to see new places was enough to keep him interested. Shortly after, Sean and Tim woke up too. "Good morning, guys." Titus said. "Morning? It's almost dark." Sean corrected Titus, rubbing his weary eyes. Tim yawned and, likewise, rubbed the crust from his eyes. "Where are we, Uncle Titus?" He asked. "We're in the country, boys." He responded. The brothers looked out the window to catch a glimpse of the scenery. They watched as they passed by a barn. They looked at the passing rows of corn and the windmill that hung high into the air.   "I wonder if there's a town around here." Titus' mom asked. "Yeah…I don't even see a town coming up." Titus added. Just then, Titus began browsing through his CDs and came across a burned CD titled "Sunday's Best". "Hey, what do you guys say we listen to some music for the time being?" Titus asked. "Sweet! What're we gonna listen to, dad?" Drake asked, interested. Titus handed the disc to his son who read it out loud to himself. "Sunday's Best?" Drake asked. "Yep. I listened to these guys all the time back in high school. Sadly they were never too popular. Real shame too because they had some really awesome songs." Titus said. Drake gave the CD back to his father who put it into the disc drive. The first song that played was "The Californian". While the song played, Titus and Drake tapped their fingers to the beat of the song. After the song was over, the next song, "White Picket Fences" was just starting. As the song continued, Titus and the others came up to a small town. "Langesh".  It was a small, bustling place with a population of about 15,000.  The buildings and houses were all very old and small, the tallest of the buildings being the town hall which rested right in the middle of town. In the back of Titus' car, Tim started to squirm around a little. He whined and moaned as he put his hands near his midsection. "Hey, Tim, are you alright?" Drake asked. "You feeling sick, man?" Sean asked his brother with concern. "No." Tim whined. "I need to go potty!" As Tim's whines grew louder, Titus looked around for somewhere to stop. A restaurant, a gas station, anywhere. He came across a gas station and pulled in. Everyone got out of the car as Sean took his brother by the hand and walked over to their father's car, just as everyone else was getting out. "Hey, what's wrong, Tim?" Lucas kneeled down to his youngest son's level. "I need to use the bathroom!" Tim whined loudly. Lucas ran into the bathroom, holding Tim's hand as Sean went with them. In the meantime, Titus figured this would be a good time to get some gas and directions to the next town. Sarah and Rick got out of Lucas' car as they stretched. Rick went ahead as Sarah looked over to Titus, a look of anger on her face. Titus didn't understand how she could still be so angry at him. He walked over to Sarah, concerned and worried. "Can I talk to you?" Titus asked meekly. "If it's about how you don't trust Rick, I don't want to hear it." Sarah said. "Look, Sarah - -" "No, you look, Titus! I know Rick a lot better than you. I don't care if you don't like him, but dammit, you treat him like you would treat Lucas or Ben!" Sarah exclaimed. Titus just growled. A small fire building up in his throat. He tried to calm himself. He took a deep breath as a miniscule flame came out with it. "Alright. You know why I don't trust him? I just find it a little strange that you haven't seen him for twenty-odd years and all of a sudden, out of the blue he reappears in your life? That seems pretty suspicious to me." Titus explained. "Well…" Sarah was about to say. "Not only that, but what if you fall in love with him again?" Titus asked with worry. "Well I- - Wait, what?" Sarah asked, confused at what her husband meant. "What if you suddenly decide that you love Rick so much and would want to go back to him?" Sarah had a really confused look on her face. She couldn't believe what she just heard Titus say. She was surprised at how immature her husband sounded. "You're kidding, right?" Sarah asked, truly hoping Titus was kidding. "Titus, I DO love Rick! But I love him as an older brother. I never loved him romantically. Neither of us had that much of an attraction to one another! Go ask him! He'll say the same thing!" "And besides!" Sarah continued. "If I was in love with Rick, do you think I would have married you and had your child?!" At that moment, Titus started to feel like an idiot.  While he realized his hatred for Rick was misplaced, he still wasn't sure about how he really felt about him. Sarah went ahead and joined up with Rick, Ben, Jessie, Kyle and Jackie. In the meantime, Titus filled his car up.  As Titus filled his car with gas, Drake sat on the edge of the seat, the car door open as he looked around and waited for his dad to go inside the station so he and Crystal could talk. "Hey, Drake!" Crystal whispered. "Shhh! My dad's still out there!" Drake whispered back. "Say something, Drake?" Titus called out to his son. "No, Dad!" Drake answered. Titus put the pump back in its holder and went to join the others in the station. At that moment, Drake ran over to the back of the car and opened the trunk, helping Crystal out. She wore a light blue shirt with a dark green overall dress over it. Crystal stretched her sore arms and legs, at the same time flexing them to get the feeling of stiffness out. As soon as her limbs were feeling better, she hugged Drake tightly, happy to be there with her two best friends. Reluctant, Drake returned the hug, unsure if he was happy about Crystal being with him or upset. For a brief moment, the two just stared at each other without saying a word. Both Crystal and Drake had no idea of what to say to one another. "Hi, Drake." Crystal said to kick off the conversation. "Uhh…hi…" Drake said, rubbing the back of his head. "Hey…Crystal, what are you doing here?" Drake asked. "I just wanted to be with you and Sean!" Crystal exclaimed. Crystal continued. "And I wanted to tell you something." Lucas and his sons walked out of the bathroom when Sean saw Drake talking with Crystal. He couldn't believe what he was seeing! How was it that Crystal was here with them? He ran ahead of his dad and younger brother as Lucas and Tim went to join with Titus and the other adults. "Drake, when you told me you loved me, I - -" "Hey, guys!" Sean interrupted as he ran over to Crystal and Drake. Sean looked at Crystal, not believing it was really her. He simply stared right at her, as if she had something on her face. Crystal grew increasingly uncomfortable with Sean staring at her. To make sure it was really Crystal he was looking at, Sean pinched her cheeks to be sure. Crystal's feeling of uncomfort turned to annoyance as Sean continued pinching her cheeks. "Ow, Sean! Stop!" Crystal commanded. "Drake, this can't be Crystal! How'd she get here if it is?" Sean asked, still not convinced. "I AM Crystal, you idiot! Will you please stop pinching my face already?!" Crystal exclaimed angrily. "Oh, sorry!" Sean said, embarrassed. Crystal rubbed her cheeks, which had turned a slight red from Sean pinching them. "So how did you get here?" Sean asked. "I hid in the back of Drake's dad' s car like an hour before you guys left. I told my parents you were going on vacation and that your dad said I could come too, Drake." Crystal explained. "And they believed you?!" Drake and Sean said at the same time in amazement. Crystal nodded proudly. "You know, I'm really glad we're all together." Crystal said, smiling with glee. Sean nodded. "Me, too!" Drake nodded likewise. "Me, three!" The three friends gathered into a circle. Drake placed his hand in the center. Followed by Crystal placing hers on top of Drake's. And finally, Sean placing his hand on top of Crystal's. "No matter what! We'll always be together!" Drake exclaimed. The three cheered in agreement. Meanwhile in the gas station, Titus and his friends browsed the store's selection for some snacks. Tim browsed the store's selection of candy, picking out three of each of his favorite pieces of candy. When Lucas saw how much candy his son has picked out, he nearly had a heart attack as he saw Tim carrying the candy bars on his shirt like a tray. He told Tim he could only get two candy bars or he'd get a stomachache. Reluctant, Tim put most of the candy back until he had only two candy bars left. Lucas went over to Sarah, who he asked to keep an eye on Tim while he went to go fill up his car. As Drake, Sean, and Crystal talked with one another, they saw Lucas leaving the store and making his way towards them. Crystal ran behind Titus' car as Drake and Sean stood by the cars and talked together as of nothing was out of the ordinary. "Hi, Uncle Lucas!" Drake greeted. "Hello, Drake. What are you two doing out here?" Lucas asked. "We were just talking, dad." Sean smiled, beads of sweat trickling down his face. Lucas began to pump gas in his car as Drake and Sean peered over to the left of Titus' car to see Crystal hiding.  Then they peered back over to Lucas, still fixated on his car. They moved in front of Crystal, hoping Lucas wouldn't see her. Sean continued to watch his father filling up the car. A short time after Lucas was finished, Crystal was about to get back in the car, when they saw Lucas walking over to them. Drake and Sean's hearts began to race. They tried to help get Crystal back into the car as quickly as they could but it was too late. "Hey, boys, I'm going back in for a little bi- -" At that moment, Lucas caught sight of Crystal's leg just as she was climbing in. "Hey, who's…?" Inside the gas station, Titus was paying for the gas. "That'll be $40.00." The employee said. Titus reached for his wallet and pulled out two twenties. "Say, could you tell me how far it is from the next town?" Titus asked. "Well the closest town is about 25 miles from here. But if I were you, I wouldn't even go." The man said. "Why not?" "You haven't heard what happened up there?" "No.  Not a thing. Is there something we are supposed to know?" Titus asked. "Well this is just what I have heard but last night, the entire population…disappeared." The man explained. "Disappeared?" Titus asked. "Yep. They say not one person remains. I was thinking on going up there myself. See an old friend of mine. But I guess that won't be happening anytime soon…" Titus didn't even have to guess who was behind the town's disappearance. He knew right away who was behind it all. So…Titus thought…the dragons were finally setting their plans into motion. Titus knew they had little time left…but he had no idea just how little. The information he had received made Titus frantic with worry. At this very moment, the dragons could be collecting humans. "Sir, you said it's 25 miles from here? The town I mean?" Titus asked. "Yes, sir. Wait! You're not really gonna go up there, are you? What if whatever got the town gets you and your friends?!" "Well then we'll just have to fight it." Titus said with utmost confidence. "How?!" The man asked. Titus just smiled, not saying anything. Everyone got some snacks and beverages for the next leg of the ride to Death Valley. As soon as they paid and got ready to head out, they were stopped by the gas station employee. "Hang on a second!" He called out. "If you're dead set on going to that town, I'd suggest finding a place here to crash for the night. You don't know just what might be out there at a time like this and with the neighboring town's population up and missing, it never hurts to be safe, you know?" Titus nodded in agreement. And just as everyone was paying for their food, Lucas came running in. "Luke, you alright?" Titus asked. "Titus, you need to come out here for a sec." Lucas said. "What's going on? Is this town being attacked too?!" Titus asked once more. "No, it's not that bad but just come on!" Titus wondered what it was that had Lucas so riled up. While everyone else paid for their food and drinks, Titus and Lucas ran out to see what was the matter.

The Batman Fanfic: A Little Robin’s Beginning
Chapter:3 All Alone Warning for some dark mature scenes.
Meanwhile, back at the Drake home Tim was beginning to worry about his Mama and Daddy they hadn't come home and where were they? it made Tim really sad to think about it as he never felt so alone without them little tears fell from his big blue eye "I..miss..sniff..Mama..sniff..and..sniff..daddy..and..sniff..Maggie..sniff.. teddy…sniff..where could they be..sniff?" Wiping his eyes and runny nose another thought came to him… maybe they spent the night at work and are still there? Another idea came to mind even though it might not be a good idea Tim had to see if Mama and Daddy were ok, he knew the way to his Daddy's work his Mama or Maggie would take him there to see Daddy for a surprise visit he even drew and colored a map by himself on how to get there.
Cleaning his tears away Tim quickly got up to climb upstairs to get his backpack and raincoat a bright red one with a little birdie on it as he packed a juice and banana into his pack got his map and his birthday money from his piggy bank put on his rain boots he hugged his teddy close as he grabbed the spare key opening the door as the heavy rain poured outside in Gotham City taking a deep breath he stepped out locking the door behind him and putting the spare key in his pocket "we're going to find Mama and Daddy teddy we got to be brave ok ." Giving his teddy a kiss he began walking the five blocks to the bus stop as passerbyes walked along unaware nor not caring of the little boy walking all alone once he made it he waited for the bus that would take him across town about 30 minutes later the bus came as an old woman came up next to him arriving for the bus as well as Tim let her go on first climbing on as the bus driver asked her where to? To Tim's luck, the old woman replied that she would be going to the other side of Gotham where his Daddy's work was climbing aboard the bus as the old woman paid on the bus with Tim doing the same bus the driver noticed him but like everyone didn't think of anything that was off not paying to mind as he thought it was just a kid just spending a day out with Grandma throughout the whole ride. Half an hour passed once the bus reached its destination the driver wished the old woman and Tim a good day as they got off still unaware of the scenery for the moment the old woman and Tim went opposite directions with the woman going to the right while Tim on the left walking eight blocks to wear his daddy's building was his teddy still close as he walked as far as his little legs could carry him to the entrance of the building pushing the heavy door walking in he made his way to the front desk where one of the secretaries were " um..e.. excuse..m..me..miss..b..but..is my..my Daddy..here?..and..my.. Mommy..?"Suddenly getting shy when he's around strangers, the woman who looked to be in her early 20s wearing lots of makeup was too busy browsing through her phone and wasn't paying attention or cared who was at the desk simply said the usual when the boss wasn't around "Sorry sir but Mr. Drake isn't here at the moment you should come back later or set up an appointment until he arrives to have a good day," She said playing with a bit of sarcasm blowing a bubble from her gum as she continued focusing more on her phone Tim gave a small ok and thank you as he went back outside to wait for his parents to come back later the rain still pouring Non-Stop outside as he found a little spot to sit down near the entrance behind a plant his little frame hidden from site by people walking alone the sidewalks " looks like we have to wait Teddy ." He whispered as he saw a side clock on a building indicating that it was 3:30 so maybe his Mama and Daddy would be back later wherever they were.
Making himself comfortable he decided to tell his teddy a story to pass the time " tell us the story Teddy..ok ..Um.. once upon a Time..there..was um..a knight!.." hours passed as the rain continued and the sounds of thunder approaching people continued walking minding their own business unaware of a little scared child hidden behind a plant waiting for Mr. and Mrs. Drake to come back as Tim let out a small sneeze “ahh-choo!” from the chill of the rain risking of getting sick, rubbing the sleep from his tired eyes trying to keep awake still hugging Teddy tight to his chest he was up way past his bedtime and the thunder was scaring Tim again his tummy beginning to rumble with hunger having eaten the banana and drink his juice a long time ago having not last and his tummy was wanting supper but he had no idea where to get something to eat as he still needed some of his money for the bus ride home when his parents come back and he can take him home. His tummy then gave another gurgle as he looked at his Teddy "I k..know Teddy I'm h..hungry too I w..wish we can get something to e..eat but we need to wait for M..mommy and D..daddy they could be back any minute." He pressed his bear to his ear to listen to what Teddy had to say when he noticed a little sign across the street that was a snack bar maybe? “Okay Teddy it won't take long we'll just go for a few minutes and then come back." Hugging his bear and grabbing his pack Tim made his way to the crosswalk pressing the button and waiting for it to turn green so he could get across to get to the snack bar and get himself something to eat.
Meanwhile, given the street not far two detectives were having a coffee break Detective Ellen Yin and Cash Tankinson were having a conversation about Yin coming back to Gotham after being away for some time. While Detective Yin had to suffer listening to Detective Cash Tankinson, who was reassigned to patrol work was working with Yin again after several years. As Tankinson was busy telling Yin about the time he and The Batman "stopped" Cosmo Krank, the villainous toymaker several years ago when Yin's trance was interrupted by seeing what looked like a small boy who barely looked to be about three years old was wandering the streets on his own. It was lucky for the boy that he was wearing a bright raincoat as she would not be able to see him in all that torrential rain. Without thinking twice, Detective Yin hurried out toward the boy as she could tell that he was lost and looked like he needed help.
"Hello there, are you okay Little Guy? Are you lost?" asked Detective Yin as she helped the boy under the canopy of the eatery where it was dry and they could better talk. "My name is Tim Drake, I'm trying to find my Mommy and Daddy, and they left earlier yesterday and have not come back in hours. I went out to try and find them," explained Tim, as he was trying to sound brave despite being terrified out of his mind. "Really? What are your parent’s names?" said Detective Yin in an understanding tone, as she pulled out her radio to spread the alarm. Detective Tankinson noticed the small boy; as if he was trying to impress Detective Yin, he ordered Tim anything he wanted.
At first, Tim was a little shy about the stranger until Yin showed him her police badge that she was a detective he felt that he could trust her "My name is Tim Drake, I'm trying to find my Mommy and Daddy, and they left earlier yesterday and have not come back in hours. “And get the kid a nice hot chocolate with extra whipped cream and a roasted marshmallow to top it off oh and the bills on me!" He handed the man a couple of bucks surprising Yin with Tankinson's kindness as one of the chefs handed Tim a nice hot ham and grilled cheese sandwich with a pickle to go with it, unknown to others Cash had a soft gentle side with kids.
Once Yin finished informing the department were set to bring Tim to the station in a bit and for someone to bring a car seat sat back down with Tim as Tankinson went over to the Drake building to question anyone to whom and what might have happened to the couple while Yin continued their questioning to Tim as he ate his meal choosing their words in to help the five-year-old understand what is going on. “And the couple hasn’t been seen since?” asked Batman after he, Robin and Batgirl met up with police Commissioner Gordon when he called the Bat Family to help out. Word had gotten out about Mr. and Mrs. Drake disappearing. At Gotham Police Department “And the couple hasn’t been seen since?” asked Batman after he, Robin and Batgirl met up with police Commissioner Gordon when he called the Bat Family to help out. Word had gotten out about Mr. and Mrs. Drake disappearing. “Their young son somehow made it to a cafe where Detectives Yin and Tankinson found him and helped him out, they’re taking care of him as we speak here at the station,” said Commissioner Gordon who was beginning to wonder if the disappearance of the couple and the recent escape of Black Mask from Arkham were somehow connected. “A car was discovered abandoned by the old business plaza; we ran the plates and determined it was registered to Mrs. Drake. We are treating this as a kidnapping case. Also, we found this” said Commissioner Gordon who handed Batman a plastic bag that contained a smaller nerve gas container; it was colored dark orange and grey. Batman picked up the object, realizing who it belonged to.
“This is definitely one of Black Mask’s toys!” said Batgirl who took a closer look at the deadly gizmo. She and Robin remembered their last encounter with Black Mask when he tried to destroy all of Gotham with his doomsday device. Batman nodded and turned away, realizing that they now needed to find out where Black Mask was hiding out. If they found Black Mask, they would find the Drakes. As Batman got in the Batmobile and drove away, Batgirl and Robin set off on their motorbikes to search around the area where the Drakes disappeared; Batman hoped they weren’t too late.
-Meanwhile: In Black Mask’s Hideout- “I am rather sorry that you’ve gotten involved in this rather… disappointing business transaction between your husband and me, but he really has a nasty little habit of not being on time with his promises. Yet keeping you here is definitely my idea of collateral. Isn’t it, my Dear?~” said Black Mask as he unbuttoned Janet’s blouse a bit to feel her breasts, while Black Mask’s humanly hands felt up her skirt. It was in Black Mask’s nature to want to feel the body of this beautiful woman despite her pleas for him to stop.
“GET OFF… please! Just STOP!” said Janet who was trying to squirm free. Janet didn’t want Black Mask to touch her anymore; she’d never been violated this much before. Janet knew this was all meant to buy her husband some time to gather the rest of the money. Yet Black Mask patients wouldn't last for long Meanwhile, Batgirl and Robin headed back to the station after hours of searching yet no luck so far as they saw Tim Drake sitting by himself while waiting for the social worker to show which Detective Tankinson kept wondering about as this was a rare case for them not to show up. “Poor little guy he looks so lonely not seeing your parents for two whole days not sure when they’re going to show up," Batgirl whispered to Robin noticing how small the 5-year-old was like he should be 3-4 years old as Tim hugged his teddy bear tightly.
"And he got halfway on his own? That's remarkable, I never did that at his age" said Robin who took a handful of chips he took from the vending machine in the police lobby. Robin had an idea, he put a dollar in got another small bag of chips and brought it over to the boy who was sitting by himself. Batgirl wasn't sure why Robin wouldn't just eat the chips himself as he normally had a habit of not sharing snacks with everyone. However, Robin just sat beside the small boy, opened the bag for him, and gave him the bag. Batgirl smiled when she saw what exactly Robin was doing and she went over to sit with the two of them.

Piter Kvil, Roket, Gamora, Grut i Draks imaju različite puteve koji ih dovode do istog cilja i spajaju u tim takozvanih Čuvara.

I think the big thing that signals BTAS’ Tim Drake being based off Jason Todd is that upon becoming Robin one of the first things that happens to him is getting his head bashed in with a crowbar
