something that's really interesting about the 9-1-1 canon timeline is that the first time buck's developing cooking skills are mentioned is in 204 and 204 is the episode directly after the 202/203 arc where he learns about eddie being a single dad and while it could be argued that buck's relationship with cooking is meant to be tangible evidence of his growth and maturity as well as a plot device to signify his father-son relationship with bobby, I personally like to think that sometime around when eddie first joined the station, or maybe even a little bit before, some intrinsic kill bill siren started going off in his head and the housewife instincts in him rose like a phoenix from the ashes

You met Koko when you were younger, and he took you under his wing. As an inspiring designer, you loved to make him nice clothes. As you get older, you want to be more independent, but Koko will always look out for you. Kokonoi x Reader (Bonten Timeline)
From the moment you were born, you had to fight tooth and claw to survive. Your dad left when you were three, leaving you and your mum with nothing. Your mum went back to being a hostess, meaning you were left alone in the single-room apartment you had. She was good at her job, earning lots of money and expensive gifts from suitors. But she had addictions and spent the money on drugs. From a young age, you had to fend for yourself and learn to survive, from clothing and making meals to keeping the apartment clean and ensuring mum put enough money aside for bills. Luckily, the neighbours took pity on you and helped pay for your school things, and one lady taught you how to sew, saying it would help you in the future to have a skill to pay the bills. You kept up your sewing throughout school, getting better and managing to sell some of your wares at a local market on the weekend.
This is where you met Hajime Kokonoi, and you took pride when he complimented the intricate details you embellished your clothes with. He decided you were going to be his personal designer in the future, and he was going to help you make a name for yourself.
PRESENT DAY
Koko kept his promise to help you, using his money and connections to get you into a good design school. All he asked in retum was you make all his clothes custom and free of charge, and of course you said yes because it was the least you could do. By now, he was on executive in Bonten, a criminal organisation and he liked to look nice because he had an image to maintain.
After working for a couple of designers, you saved enough to open your own shop in Tokyo, and it felt nice to pay with your our money instead of Koko's. Bonten kept Koko busy, so you didn't like bothering him unless he called you. You had one big problem, you had no real clue about money and expenses of running a business. And now you had to pay taxes on top of that, which went over your head. You chose to focus on commissions to make more money and filled in all the forms to the best of your abilities. Little did you know it would come back to bite you in the ass.
KOKO
I was busy dealing with the financial mess Sanzu had left for me after his last mission.
'I'm surrounded by idiots,' I groan, rubbing my temples.
'Err boss, I have the reports you asked for,' some lacky who's name I didn't deem important to lean stutters, standing in the doorway of my office. Even though y/n had paid for their shop and was getting quite a few comissions, I liked to keep an eye on them. They were a year younger than me and had become like a younger sibling I felt protective over. When we met up, we didn't talk about money, and I knew if they had a problem, they would come to me for help. However, my eyes widened, seeing the financial report in front of me.
'What the hell?' I gasp.
How could they be so careless when it came to finance? Firstly, they were paying way too much rent for the area, and secondly, the government wasn't happy with their taxes, which they had underpaid. They were close to losing their shop and facing a big penalty from the government who thought they were committing fraud.
I grabbed my jacket and car keys, needing to see them before the problem got out of hand. I run out of my office, ignoring Sanzu, having bigger fish to fry.
The light was still on in the shop when I pulled up outside. They liked to work late if they had a deadline. I enter the shop and the bell pings. I lock the door behind me and turn the open sign to closed.
'Hi, how can I help you - Koko, what are you doing here?' y/n stares at me, tilting their head to the side in confusion.
I walk over to the counter and put the file down in front of them, 'if you didn't understand, why didn't you ask me to explain?'
They open it, and the colour drains from their face, 'am I in big trouble? I thought I'd look dumb if I had to keep asking you to help me!'
I sigh loudly, 'yeah, well, you look pretty dumb right now, so that didn't work out for you.'
They look down at their feet and shuffle nervously, 'the last time we had coffee, you were stressed dealing with your colleagues' finances. I didn't want to give you any more stress, so I did what the internet told me to do filling out the forms. I'm sorry Koko. What do I do now?'
I walk and the counter and pull them into my arms. I didn't like to show emotion in front of the other executives, but y/n was the exception. I needed to protect them.
I kiss the top of their head, 'in the future don't take any extra comissions after you've submitted your taxes for the financial year until the new one starts or the govenment will think you're committing fraud. I'll get this sorted for you, and remember you can come to me whenever you need help.'
They squeeze me tightly, 'I'll never be able to pay you back, Koko. Sorry for being an idiot.'
I snort, you're the only idiot I can stand.'
Not wanting them to stress anymore, I'd also handle the rent problem for them, no one messed with the people close to me.

Finding out you were a witch at the age of 11 had been nothing short of world altering for you, only learning the secret of your mother's lineage and predisposition for magic when your Hogwarts letter arrived. Your mother had left when you were only a baby and you'd never heard anything since, nor had she ever told your dad or anyone else in your life about her abilities.
Trying to navigate this new life, this entirely new world, had been hard for you but you'd always seen your magic as a gift so you had tried your hardest to adapt and flourish, working hard in school to honour the gift you'd been given. You made friends, got consistently good grades and still managed to keep your toes in the muggle world where your friends kept you updated with music and movies, eventually finding the best of both worlds. You finally felt complete in your life, never quite feeling as if you belonged in your previous life, always feeling a little different to the other kids.
You met Fred and George Weasley on your first day at Hogwarts. You'd seen them at your sorting ceremony on your first night in the castle, being one year younger than them, they cheered as you were sorted into Gryffindor, just as they had for every new Gryffindor student. Their towering height above all the other Gryffindor students made them a sort of a figure head for the house, always drawing your attention first wherever they were. You'd sat next to a few of their friends and had struck up a conversation with them during the very first feast. The next day, they'd saved you a seat at each meal. Somewhere along the way, the seat they saved would always be next to them and then over the years it had changed to be between them.
A year later when their younger brother Ron arrived with Harry and Hermione, you'd made quick friends with them all, and then with Ginny a year later, though your relationship with the twins had always been superior to everyone else.
You couldn't deny that they were your best friends, a whirlwind of mischief and pranks that kept you almost constantly entertained. You were one of the only people who were able to tell them apart, which you believe was the reason they had never pulled a prank on you, bar the usual stuff.
Between your third and fourth year, you'd started feeling differently about them, one brother in particular.
The Weasley family has taken a once in a lifetime trip to Egypt to visit Bill during the school holidays and you'd realised pretty quickly on that you missed Fred and George a little more than you should have.
You started to take more notice of your appearance around them, no longer wanting to be seen as just one of the guys or an extension of them, dressing nicer and paying more attention to your hair and makeup, not that you hadn't before but in retrospect it was amplified whenever you knew you'd be around the twins.
Fred caught your attention first, realising that you had a crush on him as he was always the more cheeky and flirty one of the twins, the more physically affectionate. George was undeniably sweet and good looking but there was something about Fred you found yourself drawn to, butterflies appearing whenever he'd look at you or smile at you a certain way. Both of the twins had seemed to have a growth spurt over the end of the school year, looking more and more like men everyday which only increased your feelings.
Just after they returned from Egypt, before school resumed, you had spent the week at the Burrow with the Weasley's. Molly had always graciously extended an invitation to you during breaks and had mentioned on more than one occasion that she liked when you visited as you helped keep the twins in line. You wholeheartedly disagreed, knowing nothing could truly keep them in line and away from mischief but you did agree that they seemed to be much more mellow and considerate whenever you were around.
You and the twins had taken a late night walk to the waters edge, sitting beside the small lake and were enjoying a rare moment of peace, skimming stones along the water and laughing. It was still warm enough that you didn't need jumpers even after dark as you blissfully frolicked in the summer heat.
"Here, like this," George said, moving to stand closely behind you as he grabbed hold of your throwing arms and guided it so that you could skim the pebbles rather than just dunking. The sudden proximity to George left you a little breathless and surprised at your reaction. All this time you had thought it was just Fred you fancied and you hadn't really considered your feelings for George, though you couldn't deny that they weren't strictly platonic.
You ruminated on those feelings quietly as you watched them fooling about near the edge of the lake, stretching out the moment you knew was inevitable as they both landed with a large splash into the water. The noise broke you out of your little reverie and you cackled with infectious laughter at seeing them drag themselves out of the lake looking like Scabbers wet through.
They briefly shared a look and you knew you were in for trouble. You briefly tried to run away from them but their long legs caught up to you without much effort, tackling you to the ground as you squealed. Instead of being thrown into the lake as well, they stood above you and vigorously shook their heads so that you were sprinkled with an influx of water. Fred also wrangled his wet T-shirt off and squeezed it out over you, drenching you further.
"Dicks," you muttered whilst laughing once they had finished wetting you through. You pushed George down to the ground as he stood there laughing, swiping his feet from underneath him and managed to kick Fred in the back of the knee so that his legs buckled, only fuelling your laughter.
You stood up to ring out the bottom of your shirt just as Fred began talking about how they should go up and fetch some of their whizzbang prototypes to poke one through Ron's bedroom window when he suddenly stopped talking mid sentence. You looked up at him and found him staring at you with wide eyes. Your eyes flickered to George who had apparently been confused by Fred's sudden silence and had followed Fred's gaze upon you. You frowned, looking down at where the boys were staring and had noticed that in getting wet, the white T-shirt you'd been wearing had become always entirely transparent and was clinging to you like a second skin. Your pale pick bra was showing through, highlighting the floral pattern of the lace, leaving no doubt about what you were wearing and hiding underneath your shirt.
"Perverts," you muttered with a laugh, trying to hide your embarrassment as you turned around to ring out the shirt, wishing you were able to cast a quick drying charm outside of school. When you turned back around, the boys were still staring at you, shamelessly ogling.
"Wow princess, where have you been hiding those?" Fred smirks unashamedly as he breaks out of his little trance, instantly teasing you. The name 'princess' was new and you couldn't deny that it affected you in ways you couldn't explain, making your mouth go dry for a second.
"Shove off," you laughed, trying to divert the conversation. George had a blush on his cheeks as he at least tried to look away, more shameful than his brother. "Can we go back in now? I'm kind of cold," you asked, already gathering your things.
"We can tell," Fred jokes with a smug smile tugging at his lips. You gasp and reach out to smack him in the arm but he merely chuckles, as does George.
"Bye," you said, walking back to the house, feeling a little uncomfortable at the situation, not before reaching out to shove Fred back into the lake. George's laughter rang out into the still night and you walked back into the house feeling a little more smug.
The next day, both the twins were been acting differently towards you, a little sheepish and quieter than usual. You found yourself watching them a little more than usual and didn't miss the occasional looks they'd give you, or specifically your breasts when they thought you weren't looking.
After that first day, the boys were mostly back to normal with you but they would look over at you more when they thought you weren't paying attention, or perhaps you just noticed it more. Once you were back at school, things largely returned back to normal, all of you falling back into your usual routine of classes and mischief.
One thing you did notice, was that each brother had continuously tried to spend more time alone with you, without the other brother present. You'd made a joke about them being conjoined twins rather than identical more than once, finding it strange how they would seek you out separately but it was actually nice to spend one on one time with your best friends.
Fred had become even more openly affectionate with his touches and flirty words and you couldn't determine if it was in a teasing manner or not. George had become increasingly confident in your presence and you found that you really enjoyed spending time with him alone. His sweet nature was still very much present but he also had a cheeky and teasing side that rivalled the other, often harsher twin.
You couldn't understand it really, feeling like there was an underlying reason for them wanting to spend time alone with you, but you could never put your finger on exactly the reason why. It was usually something as silly as going to the kitchens after dark with one of them, going with one of them to the library or meeting before a shared detention so you could go together. Sometimes it was going to Hogsmeade with Fred and collecting things from Zonkos they needed or George craving a butterbeer and insisting he'd buy you one too if you joined him.
You didn't know quite what their intentions were until well into your fourth year.
The twins had given Harry the marauders map they'd been using since they stole it first year, which meant that although they memorised all the secret passageways, they were no longer able to see who was lurking around, therefore they would need a lookout. You naturally became the lookout for them as they raided Snape's personal store for something they were creating. You all, surprisingly, managed to get away Scott free and had tailed it out of the dungeons quickly and ran towards the lake.
"Well princess, I'd say that was a job well done," Fred says, slightly breathless from the running as he throws his arm around your shoulders, pulling you into his side.
"Yeah well done Angel, saved our lives back there," George added, bumping his hip into yours as he moved to sit down on the grass near your feet. He'd started calling you angel in private at the start of the year after hearing Fred call you princess, something he had done everyday since that day at the Burrow.
"Saved your arses more like," you laughed, throwing yourself down onto the ground next to George. Fred quickly followed and you sat in your usual order subconsciously as you looked out at the gleaming lake.
"We don't come here enough, it's really pretty," you said, looking out at the rippling water that reflected the light of the moon.
"Yeah it is, don't you think Georgie?" Fred said with a humour to his voice you couldn't place.
"Beautiful I'd say Freddie, not just pretty."
You turned to look at them both, thinking they were teasing you about calling the scenery pretty but when you turned their gazes were fixed on you. You frowned in confusion and turned away, trying to ignore the weirdness happening around you.
"So what do you say? Spin the bottle?" Fred laughs, pulling out the canister of whatever the hell he'd stolen from snape.
"If this is a setup because you want to kiss your own brother, I'm leaving," you said, trying to bite back the smile that threatened your lips. Fred blanched and instantly regretted the words leaving his mouth as George laughed.
"Bit vain really, wanting to kiss the better looking version of yourself," George adds, playing along. Fred reaches around behind you and smacks George in the head, making you chuckle as you leaned back on the grass.
"Wasn't you I wanted to kiss," Fred mumbled and you shot up from your laid down position to look at him.
"Come again?" You asked, feeling like the wind had been knocked out your sails.
He seemed to blush a little before his natural cockiness took over and he shrugged as if it was nothing, "it was you I wanted to kiss."
You didn't have words, nor thoughts really as you looked at him in shock, the butterflies in your tummy wildly flapping about at his words.
"Can I?" He asks, leaning in towards you. Your eyes flicker over to George who looks on without any hint of jealousy or anger, just merely watching. It felt a little awkward to have an audience but for some reason it just felt right. Your eyes flick back to Fred's and you manage a shy little smile as you subtly nod your head. He smirks and pulls you in, placing his lips upon yours as he kissed you. His lips are softer than you imagined as he begins gently before deepening the kiss after a few moments, the brief awkward hesitation slipping away. His right hand comes up to grab the space between your neck and your jaw, his big hands cradling your face as he pulls you in even deeper.
You're certain fireworks are going off around you, though it could just be in your head as you submit to his dominant kiss. When you pull apart, he rests his forehead on yours as you both smile.
"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that," he whispers, showing the rare, honest side of him.
"I do," you whispered back, admitting just how much you like him. You see his eyes widen slightly a your revelation and a large smile crosses his features.
"You know, I'm not the only one who's wanted to do that," he says, dropping his hand from your neck to rub down your arm. You shoot your head to George who looks on with a shy smile, already blushing. Your heart races, thinking about what this means. Did he like you too?
"Georgie?" You ask, your uncharacteristically voice shy and timid as you look into his eyes. He nods with a serious expression before imploring you with his eyes, trying to gage your reaction. You flick your eyes down to his lips and it's all he needs to lean forward as your lips crash with each other. His hand meets yours on the ground as he fixes your hands together, an innocent and sweet gesture that warms your heart.
His lips are just as soft as Fred's but you notice that his nose ever so slightly digs into your cheek a little more in the most wonderful way. He's softer and less dominant than Fred but no better or worse. Fireworks continue to dance around you and you feel like you've touched an electric live wire at the intensity of the kiss. George's kiss remains sweet and a little more timid than Fred's but it's electrifying, feeling the subtle differences of each brother as you're reminded that it's definitely George you're kissing.
You pull apart and share a shy giggle, his hand pulling away from yours, leaving you a little breathless and a lot confused.
"You, both?" You ask, unsure of the words. They both nod with serious expressions, still smiling but looking genuine.
"We've liked you for a long time," George admits.
"Both of us," Fred adds.
It feels like you have a movie reel playing behind your eyes as you think back over all the time you've shared with the twins and all the subtle and not subtle ways they've tried to tell you, until one moment stands out in your mind.
"Since the wet T-shirt incident?" You ask with one eyebrow raised, suspicious of their motives. If it was just because they'd inadvertently seen your breasts they could stuff it. George immediately blushes whereas Fred chuckles, both shaking their head.
"No, long before that," George admits quietly.
"That did help though," Fred smirks, which you roll your eyes at.
"Why haven't you said anything?" You ask, suddenly feeling a little vulnerable and quite frankly a bit deceived. "Wait, this whole time with getting me alone, it was a scheme right?"
"No, not a scheme," they both said quickly, sensing your sudden defensiveness.
"We didn't know if you liked us like that or not, every time we came close to thinking you did something would happen and we'd doubt ourselves or the other brother would turn up and ruin the moment so we tried to spend time separately with you, to see how you felt about us individually," George explains.
"We figured you'd show some signs that you preferred one of us or not and that way we'd know," Fred adds.
"But you didn't," they both say together.
George carries on explaining, "so we figured you either didn't like us like that or you liked both."
Their words hung in the air for a few moments as you processed everything, the tension rising at your silence. You chewed on your lip as the weight of the conversation pulled at you.
"I, I don't know," you mumbled, unable to look them in the eyes. "I thought... I don't know."
"Princess," Fred says. His tone is gentle but dominant in his own way, prompting you to look at him. "Whatever you say, it won't change things, except for how you want it to."
"You don't have to chose right now, but if it's only one or neither of us, then no hard feelings," George adds.
"But, if it's both and if you're game, we're willing to both try and earn your affections," Fred says.
"And no hard feelings," George adds.
"But, won't the other brother be jealous or mad or?" You begin to say.
"Angel, you're overthinking it," George says gently with a little smile, slowly reaching for your hand again, so slowly that he clearly anticipates you snatching it away from him, but you don't. "I like you, have for a long time, so has Fred. If you like him, be with him. If you like me, be with me. If you like both, be with both of us for now and decide later once we've tried to woo you."
"Of course we'd have to keep it secret if that's the case," Fred adds, sounding surprisingly reasonable for him, "but we'd do it for you."
"If you chose Fred," George begins to say, squeezing your hand, "it's okay, nothing changes between us and likewise with me, Fred won't disappear."
"And we'd never be mad at you for choosing who you wanted."
You exhale a shaky breath and nod, showing that you understood but needed some time to think.
"I thought it was Fred," you say quietly, not daring to  speak any louder for fear that you wouldn't be able to speak, "but then it sort of changed."
You suddenly found your confidence and began to speak openly about how you were feeling, laying all your cards on the table.
"I think I just pushed down the feelings I have for George and told myself that it was just Fred because I've never wanted you both to feel like you're just one person. Like, who fancies both twin brothers? And it's not because you look similar, you both have such different personalities and things that make you, you, and I love that. I like both of you, in different ways and for different reasons but I can't come between you."
"You wouldn't be between us," George says carefully.
"Unless you wanted that," Fred says, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively, earning a harsh shove from George and a roll of your eyes.
"It would be me and you and you and Fred. And, not versus. We might be fighting for your affections but we're not competing."
"So we try it for a while and if it doesn't work, we all make the decision, collectively, to end it. Or maybe it works out for one of us," Fred shrugs.
"What if you find someone else you want? I can't ask either of you to wait around," you say, suddenly considering the possibilities.
"Not gonna happen princess," Fred says confidently, crossing his arms over his chest. George shakes his head, agreeing with his brother, earning a little sigh from you at their stubbornness.
A few moments of silence pass as you consider all your options, trying to weigh it up in your mind, measuring the practicalities and the potential damages.
"What if I can't chose in the end?" You ask quietly again, losing any previous courage you had.
"Then we figure it out," Fred says calmly.

It's so funny how Cap just COINCIDENTALLY seems to be physically unable to go through a SINGLE Republican presidency without having a crisis of faith that causes him to not be Cap anymore. Nomad with Nixon. USAgent with Reagan. Death and Buckycap with Bush, then HydraCap with Trump. I like to think him dying was the universe's way of identifying "...well he doesn't seem to be changing yet. Better balance this out real quick"
This is true, and moreover this ask dovetails nicely with another Cappost I've been thinking about making. Given the sliding timeline, who should we assume was in charge of the Secret Empire?
Loose, possibly at-least-partially misremembered background for those who weren't aware of this batshit plot point- In the early seventies, concurrent with Watergate, Captain America shut down a scheme by a neofascist group called the Secret Empire to, I dunno, hold the country hostage with a mutant-powered nuke or something, the specifics aren't important, what's important is that Cap cornered the leader of the group in the Oval Office, where he killed himself to avoid capture, and you never get to see the guy's face but it was all but directly stated that the Leader was Richard Nixon attempting a Coup D'état (possibly to get out of being prosecuted for Watergate?). This shakes Cap up pretty badly and he temporarily retired the Cap identity in order to operate as Nomad, The Man Without A Country, it was a whole crisis of conscience situation. Anyway, the whole situation is still vaguely implicitly canon, they refer to the Secret Empire, and there have been successor heroes who've taken up the Nomad identity after Cap got out of the funk. But It also can't have been Nixon who killed himself in front of Cap due to the sliding time scale- the rule of thumb for Marvel is that it's generally only been about 15-20 years at most since the Fantastic Four did their thing, which does hilarious things to the worldbuilding. My understanding is that you're supposed to assume that if the president is depicted in a marvel story you need to just mentally "swap in whoever would have been president 10-15 years before the present day, but given the specificity of this situation that quickly gets insane. Did Bush kill himself in front of Captain America to escape the consequences of the 2008 recession? Did Obama?! Was it just not a president at all at this point- in which case, why did Cap react badly enough to quit and become Nomad? And so on, and so forth. They basically gotta memory hole it, but I will not let them forget! Cap saw a U.S. President off themselves! But to tie this back to Civilwarposting- what I think about a lot is that from a worldbuilding perspective the actual political moment that generated Civil War is perpetually in flux. This is true of every Marvel comic but it's especially notable here because of the extent to which the comic itself is emphasizing the political moment and what created it. It's a Bush-era comic, a reaction to the politics and the rhetoric of the War on Terror and the post-9/11 years, Bush actually personally appears in it. But if it hasn't already, eventually it's going to have implicitly been pushed through Congress during the Obama Administration, and then during the Trump Admin, and then during the Biden Admin, and so on and so forth, and like. setting aside that there's already an entire swath of the marvel timeline that's very blatantly trump-admin-coded, produced in reaction to that atmosphere, The situations and arguments and rhetoric and battle lines that would have gotten that bill through each of those admins looks very different each time! And I'm not gonna say it's interesting to see how they'll resolve this, because they won't resolve it, they don't need to, they're politely asking everyone to let this one go and that's not the biggest ask these comics make of me, so fine. Whatever. But it's very very funny

“In an exclusive interview with CNN’s Manu Raju, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said there are "quite a few" lawmakers supporting her motion to vacate House Speaker Mike Johnson, though she did not specify exactly how many members are backing her.
“I have a number that have committed, but there’s also a large number that have already expressed to me a huge sigh of relief," she added.
She said she hasn’t talked to Johnson yet, but said the speaker is “negotiating from weakness” and that she doesn’t see a scenario where she will back off raising the motion to vacate. Still, she argued she is “being very respectful to the members of our conference,” and won’t disrupt investigations or other committee work.
Greene reiterated that she does not have a timeline for when she will bring the motion up, but said she hopes to use the House’s two-week break.
“What I'm hoping for is for all of our Republican members to be able to have time to think and reflect over this break, for us to be able to come back together and start the conversation of who is capable and willing to lead this Republican majority," she said.

i am soooo fascinated by all of your suitehearts ideas hows it going?
ITS GOING GREAT!!!! taking this as my excuse to start yelling abt their backstories bc i was abt to start making the post anyways and this ask came at the PERFECT time gdhgdhd
so the entertainment industry is CRUCIAL to my version of bli to the point where the original company which would become bli began as an animation studio in the 30s/40s (the original studio producing mousekat cartoons which is a whole other post im not gonna get into rn). whats important here is that nostalgia is key to a lot of bli's early success as they bought the rights to many different properties specifically in childrens entertainment in order to sell the idea that their products and their company is Good and Moral and shit. like getting mickey mouse to endorse your product and shit
anyways one of these old shows they acquire the rights to is a shortlived but incredibly popular late 70s/early 80s childrens show: The Adventures of America's Suitehearts. its got loud vibrant colors and costumes and garish sets and im thinking it takes place in like. a magical hotel with like infinite floors to explore filled with magic rooms for any and everything (kinda like the Imagination Movers iirc). the Suitehearts are permanent residents and episodes would revolve around them helping out and going on adventures with the hotels guests, allowing new kids and characters to show up every episode. the whole show would be focused on having fun and using your imagination to its fullest, meant to bring some light into the world for kids dealing with the effects of the wars and shit but it gets cancelled after two seasons bc. yknow. the wars and shit
ANYWAYS bli picks up the idea and reboots the series once the City is built and theyve fully come to power. they use it as a sort of safety net, a way of easing the kids who originally grew up with and are now adults into accepting bli's ideas and control. its a HUGE propaganda tool and it works really fucking well, becoming a staple show in the city. i havent figure out full timeline shit bc i cant find the doc rn but im thinking probably theyd cycle through actors for the suitehearts over the years with the most recent versions being the ones that led to the shoes cancellation & the ones who become rebels. the cast goes as follows (and city names are subject to change bc these are just placeholders i came up with on the spot):
Dr. Benzadrine (portrayed by Mark Desrosiers)
- originally the Dr. Benzadrine character was this kooky mad scientist type with a sort of bill nye meets mrs frizzle energy. he was always encouraging kids to explore and ask questions abt the world around them, showing the audience how to do simple experiments, and explaining scientific concepts and how things work/are made. obviously this is exactly the type of behavior that bli wants to AVOID teaching kids, so in the reboot he becomes this sort of strict, analytical figure who discourages "unscientific" and "unproductive" things such as emotions, and constantly promotes bli's pills and medications as the solutions to problems! any "science" he explains revolves around how the pills "work" to make you Happier and Better
-Mark originally planned to be a chemist. he wanted to help people and figured developing nee medications would be the best way of doing that!! dudes like a GENIUS too, and bli sees this and singles him out and puts him on the fast track for his goals bc obviously they want that brain making their pills. except, the higher up he goes, the more HORRIBLE OBVIOUSLY CORRUPT he realizes the company is so he drops out and through a series of shady events i havent figured out the specifics of yet becomes the new Dr. Benzadrine!!!
Mr. Sandman (played by Dominic no last name yet bc nothing i can think of sounds good!)
- in the original version of the show, Sandman was one of those characters thats looked back on as kinda creepy looking in hindsight and is joked abt constantly for his more spooky appearance. personality wise though, his whole thing was encouraging kids to get creative by using his dream powers to visualize wacky scenarios and solutions to problems. hed also always lead into the a song fitting the theme of the episode by "singing a lullabye" often by the request of one of the other characters. in bli's version, though, they take his creepier appearance and RUN with it, turning him into essentially the series' antagonist. they turn him from the maker of dreams into the maker of nightmares and hes meant to show kids "the dangerous of creativity", always defeated in the end by the others following rules and conforming to authority and shit yk? just the most heavyhanded propaganda you can imagine
- Dominic i think joins the show because he wants to get rich and famous, break out of the slums of the City and really prove that hes worth something. he doesnt even mind playing the villain because, hey, the villains always the most popular character right? except wow jesus christ, being an actually cared about, actually watched member of the city is kind if a lot and suddenly all these freedoms he used to have are being taken away and he didnt realize itd be like this he needs to find a way out oh god-
H. Shoe Crab (played by Sarah Langley)
- so in the original show, Crab was that type of moral compass character always dishing out the episode's lesson. he had exceptionally good luck, which is implied to be due to a sort of karma- he does and acts good so the universe rewards him and shit yk? thats not to say hes perfect and there are episodes dedicating to showing him struggling with his own issues and he often makes mistakes. but at the end of the day hes there to teach kids the value of kindness, emotional awareness, and basic morals. also theres a tunning joke where his good luck will kinda backfire on/cause problems for Sandman like with Goodluck and Grumpy in Care Bears. played by a girl in the reboot, Crab's character essentially becomes Product Placement and Gender Roles!! all her good luck becomes the result of using bli's products, all her "moral lessons" become about respecting authority and reporting suspicious behavior and shit, and she basically gets Mom Friend-ified by the company to top it all off.
- Sarah i think is the most deep into her role bc she is heavily monitored on set and on far more medications than the rest of the cast. this is because she was actually born in the desert, kidnapped as a teenager, and brought into the City to be "rehabilitated". the whole reason she was probably even cast was as a demonstration for higher ups that brainwashing younger joys could be possible as part of a never seen through initiative. also this whole post was just supposed to be abt their backstories/the characters they played and i wasnt gonna get into any of their later true identities once they become rebels, but it is incredibly important to me that you know they become a transmasc butch lesbian who uses exclusively they/them and neopronouns
Donnie the Catcher (played by Cameron Barnes)
- Donnie's a sort of like sportacus from lazytown- the character encouraging fitness and healthy habits in kids. he was also extremely clumsy and not actually that great at many sports, emphasizing the idea that winning/losing doesn't matter so long as you're having fun with what youre doing. i think hed be the least changed character in bli's version, with their version of equality and non exceptionalism being HEAVILY emphasized. he also acts as basically a walking advertisement for the SCARECROW unit, with many of his games and exercises being underscored with encouragements for kids to look into crow recruitment when theyre older.
- Cameron was a Scarecrow, still kind of is as he was switched from active duty in the zones after the rest of his squadron was killed in a firefight and he found himself too traumatized to go back out in the field. the whole thing fosters a hatred for killjoys within him, sure, but it also makes him resent bli for sending him out there underprepared and to fight what hes quickly coming to believe is a pointless battle. he hates that his only options seem to be wasting away in the city or wasting away in the desert. but maybe if there were a third option...
and yeah this has gotten too long already so ill make the post abt their breaking out of the city and killjoy identities later :P all im gonna say rn is that their leaving becomes this huge public scandal, made worse when they continue using the names of their characters and claiming them as their new identities. the show is removed from the air almost instantly, and all mentions if it are scrubbed from public life- if you remember the Suitehearts no you dont.

I love both John and Arthur
“RDR1 Represents John’s Character Growth” Argument… 
I’ve seen people get blocked for disagreeing with the types of posts that complain about “Rdr fans disliking John’s characterization in rdr2”.  I’d rather just agree to disagree but if anyone doesn’t like where this post is going, please feel free to use the block button.
Also, in this post, I am repeating some things I’ve written in past responses/posts. Plus I have read other fans’ posts and opinions about this topic, which will be sprinkled throughout this post. 
Here it goes… Mainly for me, it’s the ret-con. It’s not that John can’t be this man with flaws, but in the first game (rdr1) they hint a lot at John (when he’d been in the gang in the past tense, before the events in rdr2) being this quixotic, well-spoken, “right-hand man of Dutch”, which were traits that were all given to Arthur in rdr2. Even Bill and Abigail hint at this. If you want to hear another rdr fan go more in-depth about this, read here. Plus Rockstar in so many words had explained why they made John a humiliation conga because they didn’t want John to “overshadow” Arthur. 
Yes, Arthur is older and yes, John could’ve been influenced by Arthur (but only by so much, I mean, c’mon John and Arthur are their own person). Yet the fact that Arthur is not even mentioned in rdr1 (yes, rdr2 hadn’t even been created yet. I know.) and they decided to “downgrade” John in rdr2 and give all of these admirable traits (they allude to in rdr1 about John) to Arthur is what baffles me.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Arthur’s character. However, it’s the high pedestal that this fandom puts him on, emphasizing his positive traits while continually bashing John in the process, that does me in.
We get it, John wasn’t a good father or a good husband, he treats his wife and kid like crap (he gets better tho), he deserves whatever criticism he gets for those horrible actions of his, but we got to remember this is the Wild West; Abigail nor John had the resources or skills to deal with their own trauma much less even raise a boy in a gang, especially Abigail. But that’s not downplaying the fact that John is a very emotionally-mentally damaged person (as a result of many forms of abuse and being raised by Dutch, Hosea, and Arthur, who aren’t the best examples) while at the same time, Abigail is a very emotionally-mentally damaged person (as a result of many forms of abuse and being raised and working in a brothel) who’s had to carry a kid for 9 months and march on through with barely having much help, aside from some individuals in the gang who helped her—I’m not gonna go with the narrative that not a single person in the gang helped. 
Listen, it’s not that we can’t handle seeing John being this pathetic version of himself that the devs chose to portray him as in rdr2 (so he wouldn’t overshadow Arthur and lazy writing) or that we can’t watch him grow from this immature and flawed human being to a man who loves his wife and child and would do anything for them… but it’s how it was done and how rockstar did it. 
They also did Johnny boy’s physical character design very poorly in the epilogue; in the epilogue (1907) he barely showcases any of the traits we see in (1911) rdr1 (a four-year difference, timeline-wise, which really isn’t that long). Although NPC John and Epilogue John might look different from each other, their personalities aren’t much different. So there’s not much of a change in my opinion.

Also, I just want to clarify that this post isn’t about the fandom preferring Arthur over John but more so about how John’s characterization was done in rdr2 compared to rdr1, which can’t merely be attributed to “character growth” rather than lazy writing.  Understandably, many people prefer Arthur over John. Hence compared to the first game, rdr2 has better accessibility, players get to go more into the protagonist’s mind, and many game mechanics have improved/developed since rdr1 was released. But rdr1 was an acclaimed game when it came out with many fans that still remain in this fandom, in spite of rdr2’s wider exposure. 
And if I was going to mention anything that the games were kind of consistent with when it came to John’s characterization, is that he has a dry and cynical personality that reflects the protagonists of old spaghetti westerns, and the unforgiving world that makes up the Wild West.
Personally, while I do like his character in both games (he’s my fave) I still feel like there’s a bit more they could’ve done with his character in rdr2, in regards to missions and stuff, I would even say the devs had put more effort into some supporting characters compared to John, but that’s just my opinion. And I was really hoping for a rdr1 remaster but more so in a Yakuza Kiwami way (amped-up gameplay, fixed plot holes, better character detail, quality improvements, etc…)

On Time Travel
Before I begin, I wish to state very clearly that this is not to be taken as fact or a dedicated primer on the subject. This is my own attempting to sort out the information I learned from Bill on the subject, by writing it out in a clear form. There may be mistakes, inaccuracies, and misunderstandings in this text.
Bill created the Time Capsule system in 1999. This system only allows for the transfer of Pokeballs up to three years into the past, and only within the Kanjoh region. The reasons for this are energy- The further something is moved in time, the more energy it takes. The further it is moved in space, the more energy it takes. And most importantly, the more mass it has, the more energy it takes- The other two are more workable, but the mass-energy requirement increases exponentially.
A single Pokemon in its Pokeball can be sent three years across time with the electricity a Pokemon Center has. Something larger, such as a Machop outside of its ball, would take an entire city's energy for a week to make the same trip.
An adult human would take enough energy to power all of Galar for a hundred years, and they would likely cease to exist in transit. We will get back to that part.
Time is not a straight arrow that can only move one direction. It is simply another axis of movement. We all move through time at one second per second, without accounting for relativity, from past towards future. However, as it is a single axis, movement can be achieved along that axis in both directions. Thinking of it as a fourth spatial dimension can help visualize it. Time's ongoing nature is not an inherent aspect of time, but of the beings that interpret it this way.
According to the Many-Worlds Interpretation, there are near-infinite timelines. Anything that could happen in multiple ways, happens in every possible way in different timelines. Thus, as time moves forward, time branches into infinite possibilities. However, according to Bill, there are two important notes to that.
First, it is not only forward. Time actually branches out in both directions. It branches backwards, such that 'every possibility that could lead to this moment' is a branch. Furthermore, there is a principle he calls 'path of least resistance'.
The same way water moves in space according to the path of least resistance, he says that time follows its own path of least resistance. To move from one instant to the next, things that would require too much change or a change of information cannot happen. Thus, when sending a Pokeball back in time, one does not actually need to worry or account for alternate timelines- By sending things backwards in time, it will branch into the timelines where the reception is possible, by following that path of least resistance.
However, the greatest problem of this is information.
By following the path of least resistance, things that did not exist in the recipient era cannot be sent there. Not just objects, or creatures, but information itself cannot cross the gap. Knowledge would be forgotten, or be scrambled. Discoveries cannot be made.
The key principle to understanding this is that there is no omnipotent, intelligent force overseeing things. Time does not have a guardian which keeps the timeline in order. It is simply a matter of energy- The energy to overcome the 'path of least resistance' to cause a paradox with information does not exist in our world, and possibly not in our universe. Thus, time itself will 'correct' the paradox, by forcing it out of your head. This is because forgetting it is 'possible', and so it would be slid into a timeline where that forgetting does happen.
If forgetting was not possible- If there is simply too much information to be forgotten, that there is simply no way it could possibly be lost- Then there will be no timeline that can receive that time travel. At which point, the outcome is...
Either total cessation of existence, or perhaps something else. A non-timeline. Either way, once this occurred, that information is lost to us, as surely as if it fell into a black hole.
... This is all I could understand. I hope any of you can understand this as well.

To me, she is saying Delicate is the insecure side to Slut!'s confidence. The video has several references to Harry Styles.

"The entire video has this overarching narrative of this girl is past a magical note from the person she would love to meet up with later that turns her invisible and she's able to sneak out of this event and go meet up with him all the while being completely invisible."
People, she can't make it clearer who this is about. The man who hands the note is dressed like Harry at the 2013 VMAs when she also wore a navy dress when they were seen texting each other (notes). In the BTS we can see more of him - a dark haired male celebrity (also talking to press) in a patterned suit. I know someone that fits that bill. This post is about Ed’s inspiration for Tenerife sea that same night.
In the BTS (1:10) in the scene where she reads the note she says:
So I am reading the note and I am kind of happy, but then sad because I realise I can't be him.. and you know.
The statues behind Taylor reference Harry's Gucci and Grateful Dead Rings.

A theme of the album is taking back power from drama. The muse is someone TS sees as there for her. Anti-hero is an interesting continuation of this feeling. It is sad to think that now she has an even higher level of fame this feeling may be harder to grasp.
The line about promises is interesting, by September 2016 Taylor was a single 28 year old who could (and did) make promises to YB. It could refer to prioritising her career over personal life. The promises may be able to make because it refers to the Gorgeous, I did Something Bad & High Infidelity timeline, around April 29, 2016, when HS was launching a solo career and TS was with CH.
[Verse 1] Dive bar on the East Side, where you at? Phone lights up my nightstand in the black Come here, you can meet me in the back Dark jeans and your Nikes, look at you Oh, damn, never seen that color blue Just think of the fun things we could do
In Wish you Would and other 1989 songs Taylor talks about late night texts and meet ups. HS was also in New York a lot and wore skinny dark jeans for what seemed like all of 2016.
To me, "oh damn, never seen that color blue" is referring to the depression she was experiencing. In the MV Taylor wears a deep blue dress, she was in a deep depression and connecting with this muse helped her through. Taylor again refers to blue as depression in many songs throughout her discography.
Sometimes when you sleep at night I wonder if .... Sometimes I look in your eyes and pretend your mine I do it all the time Is it cool that I said all that.... Sometimes I wonder when you sleep are you dreaming of being with me... do you ever dream of me
References to dreaming of each other is a theme in the 1989 songs. In 2016 HS and TS were not together, it seems from other songs of this period they met, which makes sense for the line of pretending they are together all the time, whereas YB was single and could and would be with TS.
[Chorus] Is it cool that I said all that? Is it chill that you're in my head? 'Cause I know that it's delicate (Delicate) Is it cool that I said all that? Is it too soon to do this yet? 'Cause I know that it's delicate
The Chorus perfectly captures having a tentative conversation about one’s desire. A lack of communication is a strong theme in TS/HS songs about each other. The chorus acknowledges that they have a history and being romantic is delicate they have hurt each other before. Other songs that refer to not communicating are Two Ghost’s, Maroon, the 1, satellite, and more.
Many songs from HS and TS describe that they cannot get the other out of their head/move on.

HS bought an apartment on the 3rd floor on the west side while TS was making Reputation. Taylor’s is on the 5th floor. Joe did not live in New York.

I do want to hear about warren's emasculation please tell me more
CERTAINLY! i want to preface this by saying that all of what I'm about to say is just a personal interpretation of a character because I Love to read too much into anything but also. Everything Is There.
To explain more plainly I do think Warren has an extremely conflicted relationship with gender and masculinity. We know he was abused, we know his father was a sexual predator, we don't know the Extent of the abuse but we don't really need to. What we can infer from this is that the first role model he had for masculinity in his childhood was beyond fucked up, and therefore his own view of How A Man Should Act has been distorted. Now obviously he doesn't Want to be like his father, but these things leave their marks and more often than not they don't even scar, they remain open wounds. (I also don't think he's had much time to address this, the timeline regarding his time in prison is foggy at best, but Emily does imply that he ran away from home as soon as he could, so I really don't believe he's had Therapy, y'know.)
Then there's the whole "I wasn't hitting back not because I thought myself better, but because I thought myself weaker" that tells us also another thing regarding his bias as what a Manly Man is: whether it be physicality or character, he doesn't think he fits the right criteria, and we all know what bullies say to their victims, they often hit weak spots. Which leads me to believe that his perception of his own gender is somewhat deformed, warped. He Needs to be a man, because everything tells him he should, but he Doesn't Want to be one, or, let's say, he doesn't want to be the type of man that he's always known. Like, for example, Bryony says Warren told her he "felt emasculated" by the fact that she was the one paying all of their bills, so she let him pay for the broadband, and then he replies: actually I just wanted to get the movie package, which of course could be a lie told because he was embarrassed, but I believe he was genuine in this, and thus I also believe that he was Playing a character. Masculinity itself is highly performative, what with the whole western constructed way of societal norms and toxicity (I'm from Italy, we are the poster children for that), so it could be said that Everyone is playing a character regarding their gender, and that Everyone should address how fucked up that is, but Warren plays a character with clothes that don't fit. He's a man, he doesn't necessarily want to be, he just thinks he should.
Now, this is where my interpretation kind of takes the highway out of canon and becomes more Hypothesis and What Ifs, but I have the "I think of nothing. I simply am not" branded with fire on the folds of my brain, so I spend a considerable amount of time thinking about it. I'm a big fan of voids, and hole theory, and how nothingness itself is an oxymoron (how can Nothing exist? If its defining quality is the lack of something, does Something exist? or is it the lack of nothing that defines Something? Fun stuff) AND I also really like this piece by Audrey Wollen. Of course, Warren's desire for the total annihilation of self is deeply linked with his trauma and his cptsd, his general suicidal tendencies, but also. What If. What if he wants to be nothing because everything he's tried has sucked him dry, if the way he's lived so far was by being chained to the Conforming Way Of How A Man Should Be. It's just a single part of his character, of course, yet I find it extremely fascinating!! Warren wants to be nothing and then somewhere along the lines this changes, I can't wait to see How this is handled in season 3 I am going to pass out now.

Get Off Your Ass and Start Shaking It
Tough love for creators who need a push
I need to get my head out of my ass and start believing in myself again, so I’m writing this for myself - but sharing it for anyone who might benefit from seeing it. Enjoy a little slap from yours truly - free of charge. 
1. Accept that you’re starting from “scratch”.
The internet is different now. Sex work is different now. If you’re an OG, it’s important to recognize that burnout isn’t just OnlyFans burnout - it’s industry burnout. We didn’t get a chance to catch our breath between having had ManyVids and MFC and then OnlyFans and now the biggest bitch of them all, visibility on social media. Our tweets used to show up and now they don’t. Our followers used to see us on Instagram, and now they don’t. We can cry about this all we like (and I do so frequently because it’s more healthy than just bottling it all up), but tears won’t pay the bills, baby. Time to pull up your socks and get moving. 
2. Do your best not to overthink it.
There are a million and one theories on how to do things “right”, when in reality, sometimes a single Reel about absolutely nothing with zero effort involved will hit the algorithm and pop the fuck off. Strategizing can be good, but staying up to date with the theories surrounding advertising should be inspiring, not crippling. We’re doing away with creation paralysis. Brush yourself off, and focus on making content to the best of your ability. Who cares if it’s only selfies and low effort shit for now? People will pay for pretty much anything, and if you have any semblance of a following, they want to see what you put out even if it’s not “to your standards”.
3. Switch up your routine.
This sounds brutal because it is, but this is what I’ve been doing as of late: and it���s helping. You’ll come up with justifiable reasons why this may not be right for you - but ask yourself if what you’re doing right now is right for you. Are you achieving what you want to achieve with the routine you have? Do you even have a routine? This is tough love, but it’s meant to be a realistic look at where you’re at, followed by support to get you to where you want to be. 
A month ago I started plugging my phone in across the room and setting an alarm for 5:30am. I have to physically get up to turn it off. It’s a brutal way of waking up (even though the alarm I have is all peaceful and cute, but still) - but it gets me up. I have my robe and slippers waiting for me, and I do not allow myself to get back into bed. I do my best work in the morning after coffee and before my first meal of the day. I’m not saying you need to work with this timeline, but if you’re a sleep-until-nooner, set your alarm for 10am. If you’re a work-later-on, set an alarm for when you need to start work - and then get your ass up. It’s hard to build a routine but much easier to maintain it once the habits are in place, so have a little faith in yourself. I don’t care how many times I’ve started, hit the ground running, and then crashed and burned, because guess what happened while I was running? I made money. Focus more on the positives of when you are functional, rather than moaning about the times when you’re not. If you’re in this industry it means you have, at some point or another, made it work for you. You can do it again. 
I get out of bed at 5:30am, rinse off in the shower, make my coffee and do a beauty routine that makes me feel really fucking pretty. Sure, messy hair and an instagram filter can do just fine, and again - any content is better than no content - but I feel my best after dry brushing my skin (hello cellulite and the obvious signs of ageing, lol) and then applying a really nice smelling lotion all over my body. I have been listening to Ariana Grande instead of my usual lofi (or just fucking silence, which also isn’t great for my motivation levels). Pump yourself the fuck up. You’re a bad bitch under the weight of all of this self imposed pressure and comparison, you just need to wake that energy up again, and you can do it. Take your meds and drink your water. After coffee I’m in my most positive state to work through my inbox. Yeah, a neglected inbox on OnlyFans is going to take a hot fucking minute to get through but once you actually do it, it’ll be easier moving forward. Buck up, baby - you can do hard things, and the payoff will be worth it. 
Setting actual times to get shit done is helping me immensely. I work on OnlyFans until noon. At noon, my second alarm goes off and I get up and eat and stretch and do something other than look at my phone. Most importantly: PAT YOURSELF ON THE FUCKING BACK! If you’ve done something more than you did the day before or the week before or the month before, you’re moving. You’re going. You’re doing. Our nasty little brains can always tell us we could be making more of ourselves but you know what, fuck that shit. Focus on doing 1% more than you did the day before. Rome wasn’t built in a day and again: you’re starting fresh from this moment forward. Kick the shit out of that voice in your head that wants to compare you to other people or, worse, compare you to what you “used to be able to do”. Fuck it, whatever, we are where we are - all we can do is work with that and make the most of it. 
4. Schedule, schedule, schedule
Instagram allows you to schedule posts. If you do your makeup to shoot for OnlyFans, make two or three reels. Schedule them to post over the next few days. If you manage to shoot a few photos for OnlyFans, make a semi-SFW one and queue that up as well. Places like TweetDeck will allow you to even schedule Twitter posts in advance. Pound an energy drink (or take your meds, if you need that extra focus as I know many of us do) and get ‘er done. That way you can focus on working for shit down the line rather than trying to do everything day by day. OnlyFans lets you queue, so utilize it! Setting aside even one day to sit in your grubby sweatpants and just hammer out scheduling can be so fucking advantageous not only to building your success, but to strengthening your confidence and mental health.
I’m not going to blatantly call justifiable reasons excuses, but sometimes you need to really look at what your internal monologue is saying and whether or not it’s advantageous. If you’re depressed as shit, there are so many strategies out there to get you moving even while you’re depressed. If you’re ADHD or neurodivergent, there are strategies for you, too. The playing field is not level and if you’re starting from a rough point in your life, working will be really hard - but what’s the alternative? Not working, and making it even harder? I know you know this already, but you’re probably using this knowledge to beat yourself senseless. Stop. Even for one day, actively shout (out loud or into a pillow, whatever) at the nasty voice in your head that tells you that you’re too limited by your current position to crawl out of the hole you feel like you’re in. You can handle a scheduling day. Tell yourself, over and over again, that you can handle it. Even if you take breaks every hour to screech like a banshee or cry onto your keyboard, you can push through it. Send it. I believe in you in the same way I push myself to believe in myself. It’s not easy for any of us - but nothing ever is. 
This isn’t bullshit coming from someone who’s doing well. I struggle so, so much. This shit is a grind for me, too. I berate myself and compare myself and am so fucking self critical that it can be immobilizing - but I have to smack some sense into myself once in a while and remind myself that I can grind even when I feel like I can’t. Sometimes I lean into being outright delusional. I love lucky girl syndrome. Shove your head into the clouds and pretend that you’re the absolute best version of yourself, even if you feel like absolute dogshit. The vibes may not last long, but if they last long enough for you to make something happen, then you’re pulling off that 1% improvement that you’re striving for. 
5. Plan for breaks
Give yourself a light at the end of the tunnel, whether it’s relaxing at the end of the day or planning a “do absolutely nothing but lay around” day at the end of the week. As much as it may feel like you’re staring into an abysmal black hole demanding you to do more and more forever and ever, you’re not. You can hustle while taking breaks: in fact, you need to take breaks to make the hustle happen. Just be cautious not to let the downtime turn into a downturn. I put a limit on my rest periods because I am prone to lying face down and just … not getting back up, for weeks or months on end. Saturdays are my sleep in days. Sundays are my do nothing (except for a lil chores or whatever) days. Then I’m back to the grindstone on Monday, knowing that after my “end work day” alarm goes off, I can simply vibe out. 
6. Stop looking at the numbers for now
Analytics are great, but also … not great. Story only got 500 views even though you have thousands of followers? It’s still 500 views. Reel didn’t hit the explore page? Whatever, at least a few people saw it. Recent PPV only sold once? It’s more money than you had before you released it. The best way to handle the restart period is to just focus on output and let any number motivate you to keep on keeping on. Everyone started somewhere. The biggest accounts started at 0 followers and the most successful OnlyFans pages started at 0 subscribers. You started from nothing, too. 
7. Revisit your dreams
Do not stop yourself from dreaming big. What do you want? You can have it. Setbacks are setbacks, not finish lines. A break is a break, not an end. Write your dreams out and put them somewhere you can see them and fucking CELEBRATE every step you take toward them. If you need to start small to feel good about yourself, then do that. If your goal is to post once a week, push yourself to make that happen. If your goal is to make a certain amount of money in a week, do what you need to do to make that happen, whether it’s more posts, more messaging or more advertising. I like to set my goals small but keep my dreams big. I want to buy a condo, which is a big dream, but in order to do that, achieving all my little goals will put me closer to that every time I cross it off my “to do” list. 
8. Fucking believe in yourself, goddamnit
You can do it. You can do it. You CAN do it. Do what you need to do, as your unique and individual little self, to put the systems that support you in place. Trust that you can rely on yourself. Even if that trust is frail for now, it will build as you build yourself up. Berating yourself isn’t helping, is it? I didn’t think so. You’re beautiful, interesting, worthy and so fucking capable, even on days where you think you aren’t. We’re in this together.

The 7D is a 2014 Disney XD original animated series. The series follows the adventures of the 7D, the seven dwarfs of Snow White in an alternate universe setting.  They live in the land of Jollywood, ruled by Queen Delightful, and are often set against Grim and Hildy Gloom, two villains who wish to take over the kingdom by stealing the magic jewels in the 7D's mines.

The show was cancelled after two seasons and ended in 2016.
CHARACTERS
DOC (VOICED BY BILL FARMER)
Narrator:He is so smart, he can recite the alphabet backwards and upside-down. Currently, he is writing a book, called "The History of the Future". He is that smart. He daydreams in Latin. He once divided the circumference of a jack-o-lantern by its diameter. And made pumpkin pie. It was delicious. Meet...Doc! Doc: Whoopdy-doopdy howdy-do 'ya do!

In The 7D, Doc is portrayed as the brains of the group. His machines and other gadgets are pretty advanced in the series' timeline and setting, and it even helped the residents of Jollywood. However, he can make mistakes and is pretty quick to admit so.
Despite his smarts, he can be as goofy as the other dwarfs.
Doc had two changes to his design:
Yellow glasses to red glasses;
Peach colored nose to reddish pink colored nose.
SNEEZY (VOICED BY SCOTT MENVILLE)
“Narrator: Pepper is terrified of him. His sneezes will blow you away. No, seriously. Stand back. When he goes "Achoo!," old countries say gesundheit. His last sneezing fit became a dance phase. He once sneezed at the beach and formed a sandcastle. Two thousand sand crabs live there now. Meet Sneezy.”
“Sneezy: (sneezes) Pleased to meet ya!”

Most of the time Sneezy sneezes frequently because he has many allergies, he sometimes gets clumsy and stubborn in each episode, and he can be affected whenever he encounters an animal or flower.
 He gets along with most of the other dwarfs and is rarely one to anger, but is not without his limits as he loses patience and does not take kindly to deception.
BASHFUL (VOICED BY BILLY WEST)
“Narrator: When he plays hide and seek, he can't even find himself. He's so good at blending in, chameleons come to him for advice. He's so shy, his own parents haven't met him yet. He plays extreme Peek-a-Boo. He's not only scared of his shadow, his shadow is scared of other shadows and think about it... That's scared. Meet Bashful!”
“Bashful: (gulps) Floom.”

Bashful is extremely shy and cowardly. He panics whenever his hat is removed in front of everyone, where he has to find another object to cover his face. He is also good at hiding when being bothered. Bashful can also pop up unexpectedly in many different locations, and sometimes peek behind other characters.
There are, however, signs of Bashful being brave.  Bashful can have different personas. He also has a crush on Queen Delightful (mirorring his 1937's classic film equivalent's crush on Snow White).
GRUMPY (VOICED BY MAURICE LAMARCHE)
Narrator: This guy is so grumpy, he can burst a piñata by just looking at it. He can pop balloons with a single glance. He smiled once, just to see what it felt like; he didn't like it. He invented cranky pants.”
“Grumpy: Enough yapping already!”
“Narrator: Meet Grumpy.”
“Grumpy: Yeah, whatever, hello."

Grumpy is grouchy and he routinely gets annoyed by just about anything, and, at times, he can be sarcastic. At worst he's selfish, self-centered and insensitive. However, Grumpy does show some compassion from time to time. Grumpy is also the unluckiest of the group. He has a soft spot for kids and animals. 
Grumpy only had two changes to his design:
Dark purple shoes to lighter purple shoes;
Lighter blue shirt.
HAPPY (VOICED BY KEVIN MICHAEL RICHARDSON)
"Narrator:If he fell off a cliff, he'd admire the view. He's happy, and he knows it. Clap your hands!
Happy: (claps his hands) Narrator: Legend has it, he even makes Grumpy smile... barely. Meet Happy! Happy: Oh, whoopty-doopty-schmoodily-doo!"

Happy's behavior is very optimistic and cheerful. In fact, unlike his original counterpart, who's merely mellow, jovial and friendly, Happy is hyperactive. He also cheers up the other dwarfs whenever they have a problem. He's a little on the naive side, a little too trusting of strangers, and also has a terrible grasp of sarcasm.
SLEEPY (VOICED BY STEPHEN STANTON)
Narrator: This fella's so sleepy, he can't finish a dream without nodding off. When the Sandman visits him, he brings a dump truck. His snores are so loud, they frightened thunder. Sheep count him to go to sleep. Meet Sleepy.”
“Sleepy: (yawning) Hi there. (snores)”

Sleepy is frequently tired and is sometimes seen sleeping with his plush, Mr. Hicklepips. Because of this, he's slightly useless in situations his fellow dwarfs face, but in a few occasions he has managed to save the day. Sleepy loves his Mr. Hicklepips so much that he'll go crazy without him.
DOPEY (VOCAL EFFECTS PROVIDED BY DEE BRADLEY BAKER)
"Narrator: A dwarf of "many" words, and all of them... Dopey: (whistles) Narrator: Dopey is so cute, he makes puppies go "Awww...". His favorite food is whatever you're eating. Dopey has so many pets, a zoo keeper would be jealous. A skunk named... Dopey: (whistles) Narrator: A snake named... Dopey: (hisses then whistles) Narrator: And a bear named... Dopey: (growls) Narrator: Meet Dopey!”

As usual in all previous Disney appearances, Dopey never talks. In The 7D, however, he whistles as a means of communication and he can understand his fellow dwarfs. He's also good at pantomiming. Dopey has a strong love of animals. 
Dopey is also exceptionally skilled in painting, drawing and performing as a magician.
QUEEN DELIGHTFUL (VOICED BY LEIGH-ALLYN BAKER)
"Hello, everyone! My name's Delightful. What's yours?"
"Why are we here? Does anyone really know? I mean, what's the meaning of life?" 
"You can be naughty with me, you can be naughty with my kingdom, but you cannot be naughty when it comes to my dog!"

Although Queen Delightful is sweet and kind to her subjects (excluding Hildy and Grim of course) and likes to have fun, she can be quite naïve and goofy. Her crown lights up in a manner similar to that of a police car strobe light, and she would imitate a siren and turn in circles when she goes in a "tizzy", as Starchbottom puts it. The Queen is also very literal minded. However, despite her silly behaviour, Delightful is capable of putting up a fight and show aggression. 
Queen Delightful is very skilled at yodelling  floor skating  and various acrobatics (multiple episodes).
Queen Delightful wears a red and pink dress with golden cuffs at the sleeves, a golden belt, and ruffles at the neck coloured two different shades of light pink. Her hair is blonde, she wears red lipstick, and wears blue diamond shaped earrings. Depending on the episode, she wears either red dress shoes or pink and white sneakers, but they're not shown most of the time because of her long dress. 
Due to the series' cancellation in January 2016 that led to the reduction of episodes beyond the first season, whether or not Delightful would fall in love with Bashful remains unresolved.
Queen Delightful's voice closely resembles Adriana Caselotti's vocal portrayal of Snow White in the classic 1937 Disney film.

hi sovo ;u; I hope it's okay if I ask you a shop question! So um, I'm lower on money than I've ever been and I'm too burnt out to do commissions for ppl due to personal stuff, but I feel like... if I made one charm or one sticker for a particularly huge fandom/movie that's out right now, and if I put it up as preorder and sold at least 20 keychains then I'd be able to pay my bills this month. but I've never sold physical merch before and I'm a little nervous to try it haha :'D
Would you recommend I try making an Etsy since it seems to have a large enough audience, or do you think I should try making my own website/shop? I'm definitely not ready to consistently sell things as a steady job yet, I thought I'd try literally just one single keychain or one sticker sheet (I already learned how to make those, thankfully) in order to pay my rent this month bc I've only got about a hundred dollars to my name sdflkfssdf;; and if it goes well then maybe I can try it again.
I'm also not quite sure how to price things? if I made a 3.5 inch acrylic charm with the little star shaped keychains like from Vograce, do people normally price those at $15 when they sell them? should I also account for shipping? I've also umm never shipped merch before and I'm so worried about somehow messing it up sldfjsf like I don't know what kind of envelopes I have to get or if I should even use my own address bc I'm so nervous about my personal info being out there, but I don't know if it's worth paying for a PO box if I'm so low on money already. if you have any tips on anything whatsoever, I would appreciate any feedback if you're not busy. no prob! here are my thoughts:
pros/cons of etsy:
apparently if you're new to selling on etsy, there's a probationary period where etsy withholds your profits for 3 months. i don't know anything about it personally since it started in 2020, but it seems that funds are only released when your shipped orders are scanned at the post office. i think i also remember hearing about other cases where payments aren't released at all for 3 months--and etsy customer service has a reputation of being difficult to get a hold of if you have a problem as a seller, so if etsy made a mistake with your shop, it may take even more months to resolve. since you have preorders in mind, i would hold off on etsy unless you can pay out of pocket.
etsy can drive traffic towards your listing for you (if you choose the right keywords--it's more difficult to be discovered just randomly if you don't).
they have high fees (for a $15 charm they'd take $1.88 in fees, which is 12.5%).
people may be cautious to buy from a shop that has no reviews yet, but many customers are protected by etsy's purchase protection and can be refunded at no cost to you if their order gets lost in the mail (provided that you ship with a tracking number and meet other criteria).
etsy will strongly recommend that you offer free shipping; ignore them. i don't think i've ever bought fanmerch with free shipping in my life, and their advice isn't geared towards sellers like us.
preorders don't work very well with etsy's system--iirc you're not supposed to do them (even though people still do, of course) but the main reason i remember is that the max processing time etsy lets you set per product (as in, the time between the customer purchasing the listing and you shipping it out) is 6 weeks. that means that the time you allow for customers to place their preorders, the time it takes for you to order and receive the merch, and the time it takes for you to ship out orders, all need to add up a max of 6 weeks, which was personally a difficult timeline for me to meet when making keychains. ofc, it's possible to extend the processing time, but going over the processing time may make it possible for customers to leave reviews/open cases early before you're even ready to ship out their orders, which could affect the reputation of your shop.
pros/cons of not etsy:
if you're not going with etsy, i've heard people recommend bigcartel, since it doesn't require a subscription like shopify or other places do. bigcartel's free plan is limited, but it should work for what you're looking for. another alternative might be ko-fi--i've heard that ko-fi shops aren't ideal for shipping out a large amount of orders, but since you're targeting just 20 i think it should be manageable.
ofc, you'll have to drive all your traffic yourself, so consider if you have enough of a following in your target fandom, or how you should go about getting your post noticed by your target fandom.
unlike etsy, shipping isn't auto-calculated, so i'd probably set a flat rate (in the US i'd expect $5). flat rates might make calculating your taxes just a little bit more complicated; in california at least, you have to pay taxes on the difference between the shipping you charge your customers and the shipping you actually pay to the post office, so iirc you either refund the extra shipping to the customer or hand it all over in taxes.
pricing:
yes, the standard price for ~3" acrylic keychains is $15, though i've also seen people go up to $16 or $17, especially on etsy where the fees are high.
shipping should be a separate cost, either auto-calculated for you (if you're on etsy/shopify) or a flat rate that you set based on shipping rates for your country, so in the end a customer might pay $15 + $5 = $20 in total.
unless most of your prospective customers are international, i'd recommend against shipping internationally to avoid dealing with customs forms, especially since you already have a lot of info to take in.
you can ship everything in a regular bubble mailer, though if you're just shipping stickers not keychains, a flat envelope should work fine. when shipping packages, you'll need to know the weight of each package, but you can just go by an estimate. a 3" acrylic keychain weighs about 1 oz (it weighs less than that, but they don't accept decimals) so i just multiply based on how many keychains are in an order. for usps at least, shipping is the same rate up until 10 oz iirc, so you don't need to weigh it super accurately. you could also always just go into the post office and have them weigh and label everything for you.
po box:
if regular PO box rates in your area are too high, you can also consider using a virtual po box; they go for about $10 per month at their most basic plans. if you're not expecting to get any mail redirected back to you, you should be able to just buy a month's subscription when you're ready to ship things out.
words of caution:
you probably already know this, but large fandoms can often be oversaturated by merch, so just choosing a large fandom might not be enough to guarantee a sale--you might have to stand out by, say, choosing a character who's in demand but doesn't have much fanmerch, having a funny meme concept, or having such a unique/attractive style that people can't help but want your fanmerch in particular. if you haven't already, i'd recommend looking around the market and seeing what's out there and decide why a buyer should choose your merch over anyone else's. though honestly, depending on your fandom, it could also not be this serious and not warrant much research--it all depends!
even if the preorder process works out and you get the funds to place the order, the manufacturer could always mess up on your order, which could lead to delays in your fulfillment and at worst, more expenses if you need to pay to get them remade. if it's easier to get sticker sheets made (like if you make them yourself/locally instead of ordering from overseas) they might be a safer choice of merch to make. ofc, i don't generally see sticker sheets up for preorder so you'd probably have to order them out of pocket and hope they sell, and you'll probably have to sell more of them than you would of keychains to get the same amount of profit. i don't know the whole situation, so i can't say anything definite about the risks/rewards between choosing to sell keychains and choosing to sell stickers.

There’s been a lot of different companion roles in doctor who so i’m curious
Doctors 9, 10, 11, and 12 all had companions who undertook massive roles, most of which directly influenced the fate of the world. Almost all of them became inhuman in one way or another. Rose became the Bad Wolf to save the doctor and leave warnings, Jack became immortal and hung around to take part in key world events + torchwood, Martha walked the earth to spread the doctor’s name, Donna saved the world during the Dalek Empire rise, Amy and Rory had the pandorica business and also created River who then went on to do as River Song does, Bill had the cyberman thing, and to even touch on Clara would eat up my word count for the foreseeable future (which i would gladly do cause i love her by restrictions are restrictions).
13 companions on the other hand are very grounded where the three of them are human and stay human and influence the doctor but not really the world. That’s not a bad thing obviously, since being there for the doctor is a pretty big role, just different to the scale of the previous companions. they also have much nicer leaving notes than companions from classic and new who alike.
I’m personally torn because i adore the drama of seeing an average person become something so much more, undergoing a transformation that shocks and awes even THE DOCTOR, of all beings. but it’s also nice to have a human who is and stays entirely human. important in the way that all humans are but nothing that causes them to single-handedly hold the universe in their timeline.
