every time I see a comment that being trans is an internet invention, I laugh because damn it, I'm an archaeologist and I'm totally convinced that it has existed for as long as people lmao
i think i finally understand what it’s like to have to scratch ur balls in public. I’ve been starting to use trans tape and im still getting used to the feeling but i cant be scratching my tits in public
Okay but I want to get all soppy for a second. I cannot stress enough how much it means to me as a trans person to see someone I adore and have looked up to since the start of my transition be so open and comfortable and visible in their presentation. I have genuinely been so elated. What Gerard was showing isn’t just happiness, it’s undeniably gender euphoria and I cannot stress how much it means to me to see them feel that. They’re so beautiful and so bright and so open and so true and it’s absolutely stunning to watch. I don’t think he will ever comprehend the impact that they have had on a generation of trans kids. I’m truly so, so grateful for them.
“My ultimate dream though is that one day people being at any point on the gender spectrum is so normal that to think back to the gender binary days is like when we thought the world was flat and that the idea that our gender is based on what you have going on between your legs is just RUDE.”
