Yesterday, I outed myself to my mother. And guess what guys. She accepts me. Well, she somewhat accepts me. She still thinks I don't exactly know what I like and that I'm too young and that she wants me to have kids but I'm pretty sure in the next year or so I'm gonna have a fully accepting mam. So I'd like to officially say, I am infact, outed to 3/5ths of my immediate family. And they all mainly accept accept me.

i'm so serious why do my dreams involve old gay pulp novels. just last night i had a dream that i was at some christian sleepaway camp and i found a pulp novel and also some pamphlet/material relating to homosexuality (the pamphlet giving advice on how to "avoid extreme homosexuality bro")
(and for the dream analyzer people, yes gay pulp is a recurring theme in my dreams. if that info helps at all)

So this is my first ever vent
I'm scared of having to go to my mimis
But I have to anyways or else you will make me feel bad about not going
The reason I feel scared about having to go to her house is because I have to act straight around her because she is severely homophobic transphobic and slightly racist and a hardcore Christian which I am not any of those
Nowhere near Christian for me but she forces me to do stuff like go to church and I don't really like to
I'm scared because I'm going to have to go back into the closet around her and I'm scared what she's going to do if she ever finds out that I'm a lesbian
I don't want to disappoint her or let her down

This isn't a request for a tickle fic so I hope you are okay with writing it! I just wanted to request a fic were Leo and Yuno had revealed the fact that they are in a relationship so Yuno takes Leo to hage so he can meet everyone!
Ahh, my weakness! *vibrates at an inhuman speed* I'm so normal about them I swear! aerajrjheakjreaj No but really- this is a delight of a prompt and I'm beyond happy to make it for you, anon! I hope you like it!
CW: Mild angst, mentions of homophobia VERY LIGHT SPOILER WARNING: Black Clover Eps. 71-72 (It's incredibly vague- there's no real details but I'm gonna put it out there just in case)
Cloud 9 (Taglist peeps):
@duckymcdoorknob
“Come to Hage with me!”
When Yuno first offered the suggestion to Leopold, he was excited. It’d been some time since he’d seen his family, and the idea of sharing a part of himself with Leopold felt right.
Then excitement turned to unyielding anxiety in a matter of hours as he realized he had no idea HOW he was going to do that.
The planning wasn’t the difficult part- both Captains Fuegoleon and William were fine with it, and they even managed to rope Captain Yami into letting Asta and Noelle tag along. Letters were sent, and the responses have been nothing but positive from Sister Lily and Father Orsi . The actual trip was set.
It was the whole- you know- coming out thing. All this time later, and he still hadn’t told them. Yuno felt his stomach twist into a thousand knots as he watched Hage’s green hills get closer in the distance, willing himself not to shake.
“You’re gonna love it there! Our siblings are a riot, but they’ll get used to you pretty fast.” Asta was filling the mildly tense air with chatter, giving Leopold and Noelle the details about their family. A few times the redhead would look his way, smiling brightly at him. That helped- somewhat.
“You okay?” Leopold floated over on his broom, voice pitched low so the others wouldn’t hear him. “You look like you’re gonna puke.”
“Motion sickness?” Yuno offered, wincing when his voice shook..
“You’re nervous huh?” He smiled, bumping him gently. “I’m a bit too. Do you…do you think they’ll like me?”
“You’re like a second Asta. They’ll adore you.” Yuno grinned, earning a laugh and a light shove from Leopold. “Really- I do think they’ll like you. Both of you.” He nodded back to where Asta and Noelle were, their voices acting as background noise.
“Thanks.” Leopold leaned over, giving him a quick peck before returning to the original pair, Asta’s “WHERE HERE!” snapping him back to reality.
It’ll be fine. Yuno took a breath, forcing a smile. Everything is going to be fine.
He hoped.
~~~
“YUNO! ASTA!” Recca all but squealed upon seeing the three brooms above. “Everyone- Asta and Yuno are back!”
Within seconds of touching the ground, they were swarmed. Squeals of glee rang out from Arlu and Holo as they bull-tackled Asta, clinging to his legs and jumping up with grabby hands. Recca practically squeezed the life out of Yuno, her frizzy red hair almost to his chin- when did she get so tall? Sister Lily came out soon after, tears in her eyes as she hugged both of them just as tight. By the door, Father Orsi laughed, patting Nash on the head as they waited their turn to get their hugs.
It was a mess of limbs and hugs and kisses and ear shattering screams of glee from the youngest kids.. Yuno took it all in, nostalgia and warmth mixing in his chest as he reunited with his family. God, he missed them all so much.
“Welcome home, boys.” Orsi smiled when he managed to get in, hugging them both before patting their heads. “Though I should call you two men- after everything you’ve been through. Still; no matter how old you two get, you’ll always be the squishy cheeked babies I remember when you first arrived.”
“Father Orsi, come on! I’m so much bigger now since being a baby!” Asta huffed, unable to stay annoyed. Yuno laughed softly, willing his ears to stop burning. It didn’t help that Leopold was snickering in the background, clearly pleased.
“I suppose so- now, who are these fine people you two brought?” He asked, looking out towards Noelle and Leopold. Yuno’s stomach twisted once more, the anxiety he was just beginning to forget about piercing him like an arrow. Right- introductions. It was time.
“This is Noelle! Fellow Black Bull and royalty!” Asta cheerfully introduced Noelle, pulling her closer to the group. “She’s a really cool water mage! If you’re lucky- she might show you some tricks!”
“Dorksta- don’t go promoting me like I’m some sort of circus act!” Noelle fussed, cheeks red and mildly annoyed. From the group, some of the kids giggled. “Erm, it’s nice to meet you all.”
“Your girlfriend’s pretty, Dorksta!” Holo declared, making Noelle flush crimson with a squeak. Sister lily scowled him gently but Asta took it in stride, laughing with the rest of his siblings at the nickname. When the chatter died down, all eyes turned to Yuno and Leopold.
It’ll be fine.
“Leopold Vermillion! Nice to meet you all!” Leopold declared proudly, all smiles. The children were hooked almost immediately, eyes shining. “I’m Yuno’s-” He paused then, turning to the other. There was a question in his eyes. Is this okay?
Yuno felt his heart squeeze so hard it hurt. Leopold was giving him the chance to lie- to just say he was Yuno’s good friend. To work up the courage later and tell them another time. He was grateful for the redhead at that moment.
“He’s my boyfriend.” Yuno finished. Alas- as grateful as he was; he had to do it. Leopold had already agreed to keep it a secret in the past- he wasn’t gonna put him through all that again . “We’ve been dating for a while now.”
Faces morphed into surprise- Father Orsi’s brows shot up and Sister Lily blinked. Recca and Nash’s mouths formed into “o” shapes, while Arlu and Holo were too busy hovering around Noelle to notice. Even Asta looked surprised- and he knew already. Yuno waited, pleading with whomever was listening for- what- the ground to swallow him up? For lighting to strike him down? For Captain William to call and suddenly announce a task only Yuno could fill and save him from this awkward situation?
“Well, this was unexpected.” Father Orsi was the first to speak, his shock fading into  warmth as he came over, shaking Leopold’s hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Leopold.”
“I recognize the name- are you related to Mimosa Vermillion?” Sister Lily recovered just as fast, smiling brightly. “She’s a darling, that one.”
“Oh yeah- she’s mine and Noelle’s cousin.” Leopold fell into easy chatter with them, bright as the sun as they asked about his team and family. Recca wiggled past the adults to Yuno’s side, her hand finding his as she leaned into his arm.
“Is he good to you?” She asked. Yuno took a shaky breath before nodding.
“He’s very good. The best man I’ve ever met.” Recca’s hand squeezed his in return, her face softening to a happy grin.
“Okay. Then I like him.” She decided. Yuno felt his throat tighten some as he leaned over, kissing her brow.
Asta and Noelle were soon dragged into the chatter. Before long, everyone was comfortable around everyone.
All but Nash, who hovered just outside the group with a pinched expression.
~~~
“It was so HOT! And dangerous too- there were so many cliffs and rocks, and the ground was carved with lava!” Asta stood before the group, retelling his adventures to his siblings- complete with standing tall and raising his arms high to emphasize his point. “There were so many instances where I was sure I wasn’t gonna make it! One wrong move, and your future Wizard King would have been as cooked as a Hage Potato!”
“I’m surprised you didn’t. I bet Yuno didn’t have any problems in that heat- not with his wind magic.” Recca grinned at her brother, earning a small smile in return. “I bet you were cool as the snow climbing that volcano!”
“Oh no, I just got lucky.” Yuno shrugged.
“Don’t be so humble- he was amazing!” Leopold grinned, joining Asta in retelling their adventures of Mereoleona’s training camp. “He was all- ZOOM! And we were all: ‘Whaaaat’ and he was all- “I’m so cool, look at me.’”
“Yeah yeah! Definitely!” Asta agreed, earning a round of laughter from the kids. “Noelle looked cool too!”
“What? Oh- don’t just say those things, Dorksta!” She huffed, cheeks pink but clearly pleased. Arlu and Holo were  fast asleep against her lap, likely dreaming of the small water dragons Noelle created for their entertainment . Despite her earlier complaints about being an attraction, it didn’t take long at all for her to give in and play with them. Yuno felt a new appreciation for the water mage. “I guess you were kinda cool too…”
“Oh goodness- I can’t imagine going through that myself!” Sister Lily laughed around her tea mug, fanning away the imaginary heat. “You two have been getting so strong since you went to the capital.”
“That’s our boys!” Orsi agreed, raising a cup of what Yuno suspected wasn’t water. He didn’t mind though- it was nice sitting with everyone again. Though, there was still something wrong.
Throughout the day, Nash had been fairly quiet, not talking much at all during dinner or the time before. He’d always been a calmer soul, but Yuno couldn’t help but suspect he was angry. There was this clear tension radiating off of him that prickled at Yuno’s skin all throughout the day- especially tense during dinner when they were all sitting together.
Yuno tried to brush it off as discomfort of new people, but sitting here now- Nash nowhere in sight, his thoughts got the better of him.
Did Nash…not accept him?
Slipping away from the group, he went to find him, scared of what he’d find but determined to get to the bottom of it.
~~~
“Nash?” Yuno called out, finding his brother sitting on the back steps of the church. “There you are.”
“Oh, hey Yuno.” The younger boy looked back at him, his face and voice calm as ever. In his hands he was playing with a tree branch, picking at the bark and pulling at the leaves. “Got overwhelmed in there?”
“A bit. I actually came to find you.” Yuno began to walk over but stopped, suddenly unsure of himself. What if he sat down beside him and Nash walked away? Maybe he should…
“Why are you hovering? It’s not like we’re strangers.” Nash nodded at the spot beside him. Yuno flushed as he sat down, shamed. Why was this suddenly so difficult?
Silence hung between them, charged with something Yuno couldn’t quite put his finger on that did nothing to ease his nerves. He went to find words, but his throat felt tight, locking away his vocal cords. He needed to say it. “Nash…are you mad?”
Nash didn’t reply, though the slow pace he was working at with his stick sped up, growing slightly more aggressive. Ah, so he was.
“Are you mad…at me?” Yuno asked, feeling his heart sink when the picking grew. “Did I do something wrong?”
The stick shook. Nash’s calm expression grew pinched. “You didn’t tell us.”
There it was. Yuno bowed his head. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t- don’t apologize.” Nash tossed the stick aside, turning so he could face Yuno properly. “I don’t want an apology. I just want to know why. You know us- we’re your family! That’s never gonna change, so why…why didn’t you tell us sooner?” Nash huffed, shoulders drooping. “Did you not…trust us?”
“What- no, not at all!” Yuno winched, hating how sad his brother sounded. “It’s not that at all. I just…” He was about to ramble when he stopped, taking a breath. This was Nash- clever, understanding Nash. He might as well be honest. “I was scared.”
“Of us?” Nash blinked, tilting his head.
“Of how you’d all react.” Yuno nodded, turning to look at his knees. “Back at the capital, there are some incredible people there. But there’s also a lot of cruel ones too. Leopold- he came out before me, and I still think about some of the awful things said about him. Some were said about me too- both behind my back and to my face. I try not to care about them- they already have problems with me being a commoner, but…”
“You were scared we’d react the same way.” Nash spoke softly, voice barely over a whisper. Yuno winced, nodding.
“I know now it was irrational,, but at the time- when I first started figuring myself out and being with Leopold; I was just so…terrified. I couldn’t bring myself to say it in a letter- I needed to know in person how you’d all react. I didn’t want to come home and be treated like a stranger. That…that would hurt.” Yuno felt his eyes sting, his throat closing with unshed tears. “I’m sorry. I wish I had the courage to say it sooner, but…I didn’t. I’m sorry I made you think you couldn’t be trusted, and I’m sorry-”
“Stop.” Nash scooted over, resting his head against Yuno’s shoulder. “You’re shaking.” He took his hand in his own, two small warm ones holding Yuno’s icy limb. “Just breathe, Yuno.”
Yuno willed himself to do so, taking slow deep breaths one after another as he forced himself to calm down. He hadn’t realized just how close to a panic attack he was getting. Nash’s voice guided him back to reality, his hands still squeezing Yuno’s as the older boy collected himself. “Sorry…”
“Didn’t I just say to stop that?” Nash gave him a look, eyes softening after a moment. Silence passed before he spoke again. “You don’t have to apologize- it doesn’t seem like an easy thing to talk about. If anything- I’m sorry for getting so mad about it. Even if it took awhile, I’m glad you were able to tell us now.”
Yuno didn’t trust his voice, opting to squeeze Nash’s shoulder. Nash took this as a sign to continue.
“You know- I don’t even think that part is what made me upset. I’m really happy you found that Leopold guy, and I’m happy you and Asta are living your lives. I guess it’s just…everytime you and Asta come home, so much has happened. One minute you’re heading out to the capital, the next, you’re these powerful Magic Knights with cool abilities and war stories. I feel like there’s just so much..missing between. Like those old books someone donated that had chapters missing.” Nash dropped some, shaking his head. “That was probably stupid to listen to, huh?”
“Not at all. I think I get it.” Yuno nodded, finding his voice as he turned towards the skyline. “I’m sorry about that. Things happen so fast there, and when I go to write, I never know what to say. That and I’d hate to give Sister Lily a heart attack with the gorey details.” That earned a small smile from Nash. Yuno felt his chest loosen. “I’ll try to be better about keeping you guys updated. And I’ll try to visit more often.”
“Promise?” Nash peeked up at him. Yuno raised his pinky. Without hesitation, Nash curled his own around it.
“Promise.” Yuno gave it a little shake, the same way they did when Nash was real young. Just like that, the knots in his stomach vanished. He could breathe again.
“Thanks Yuno. Though, can I ask you something?” Nash leaned in conspiratory-like, brows furrowing. “What made you fall for him? Don’t get me wrong- he seems great, but he’s like a second Asta- just so…loud.”
Yuno snorted, hand slapping over his mouth as he shook with mirth. Nash grinned, giggling alongside his brother.
“I suppose that’s a good place to start.” Yuno got out once he recovered. The rest of the night he shared the tale with Nash, the tale of how he and Leopold came to be.
~~~
“There you are. We really do have a fondness for fields, don’t we?” Leopold laughed as he flopped down beside Yuno, the stars bright above and the air chilled. Yuno was lying on his back, hands tucked behind his head as he reflected on the day’s events. Overall- it all went well.
“That’s true. We’ll have to change it up soon. How about a beach day next time?” Yuno suggested, grinning when Leopold made a face.
“No way- I’m still finding sand in inconvenient places.” Shaking his head, he flopped backwards and into Yuno’s chest, snuggling close. “Thanks for inviting me out. Your family’s great!”
“Told you they’d love you.” Yuno hugged him close, skittering his nails against his back. “I’m glad you came. They’re gonna be talking about you and Noelle for months.”
“Hehe, better send some presents then. Gotta keep my “cool older brother” rep with the kiddos.” Leopold closed his eyes, melting against his boyfriend’s hand. “Hey…this is kinda dumb but..thanks for introducing me as your boyfriend. I would have gone with the whole friend thing if you weren’t ready to tell them, but…It made me really happy.”
“It’s not dumb at all. And I appreciate you so much for that. Still…I wanted to tell them. Regardless of what happened, I wanted them to know you as my boyfriend. It was really scary, but I’m glad I did it. I feel so…relieved.” Yuno nodded,  satisfied with his choice of words as he played with Leopold’s braid. “Was it like that for you when you came out to your siblings?”
“Honestly? I can’t remember. When I came out, I was so scared of chickening out I busted into Fuegoleon’s office and shouted it at the top of my lungs. Sis must have heard me from down the hall cause she yelled back “Good for you!” and Fuegoleon wasn’t fazed in the slightest. I think they both already knew.” Leopold laughed at the memory, smiling to himself. “I’m so lucky to have the siblings I have. I don’t know what I’d do without them.”
“Yeah…” Yuno hummed in agreement, letting that settle. It made him grateful for his siblings as well- and his comrades. How’d he get so lucky to find the people he met?
“So- it’s just the two of us now. Do you think anyone will be slipping out this evening?” Leopold asked, sitting up so they were eye to eye, a teasing grin on his lips. Yuno blinked before flushing some, feeling his eyes widen.
“Leo!”
“What? I’ve been good- I’ve held back all day from doing it.” He leaned in some, green eyes sparkling with warmth. “Now or never, right?”
Yuno rolled his eyes with a soft laugh, flicking his bangs away. “You’re a dork. Fine, come here.”
Leopold wasted no time pressing his lips against Yuno’s, pushing him back into the grass.
It was all as Yuno hoped it would be and more. He was so glad he came home.

RUSHED WRITING I AM SO SORRY (this includes Amrita and a description of a lab. neither are probably correct so if this is awful i am so so sorry) ALSO. PLS READ TAGS FOR TWS THIS THING IS AWFUL
Tumblr media
Paislie glanced inside the lab. Amrita was there, along with several other people Paislie didn't know.
She hadn't come to the lab since she'd found out what was happening in there. So many kids, almost all infants, died multiple times a day.
And since she'd realized it, she couldn't keep herself from blaming herself for all the lives lost on her machines no matter how she tried to make them work.
She couldn't stop herself from wondering how much blood was, technically, on her hands.
-
Paislie had found that out when she tried to help once only a few days previous.
She'd been showing plans for a new machine to one of the older workers when one of the lab employees had come running, saying they needed more hands.
Despite not knowing what she was doing, Paislie had followed behind, throwing on a spare coat, face mask, and gloves as she entered.
The place was buzzing with activity in the worst way, employees rushing around and carrying babies just as small as the one in Paislie's own arms. She could've sworn one of them was still smaller.
And that's when she'd realized. The little structures Paislie had seen patterned through the room weren't some kind of sink like she'd thought up to now.
They were cribs.
She couldn't help but stare down the rows and rows of sleeping babies- what looked like newborns, she thought vaguely.
And the random spacing between them and the empty cribs- sure, it could've been an accident, but if it weren't, then where-
She was only jerked out of her thoughts by a touch on her shoulder.
"Hey," the lab worker had said. "Been in here before?"
Paislie only shook her head, not trusting her voice in the slightest.
"Can you take him?" they'd asked, glancing down at the crying baby Paislie had just realized was there. He was almost too small to be real, she thought with a pang of anxiety for the tiny boy. "There's nothing you can- You don't need to do anything else. Just hold him."
She swallowed- whether to keep herself from being sick or crying, she didn't know. "Yeah, I can- I can do that."
Paislie hadn't even finished her sentence before the tiny baby boy was carefully laid in her arms.
"Hey, buddy," she'd said quietly, stroking his cheek with her gloved hand. "It's okay."
Despite the setting, she could almost forget anything was wrong. She could pretend for a minute as the boy quieted. Blue eyes looked back up at her.
She smiled, trying to stop herself from breaking down right there and crying.. "There he is."
And he smiled back. It was only a quick one, the only way such a tiny baby could, but it was still enough to tell.
Something still felt off in the room. Not that it had ever left.
It felt like death.
She shivered at the thought.
Before Paislie could stop herself, she'd started humming a song to him. He didn't cry again, so she figured it couldn't have been that bad. She took to watching Amrita's movements, vaguely hoping it would help her calm down if she had something to focus on.
It wasn't hard to tell though, when she looked back down at him a few moments later, something wasn't right.
He wasn't breathing.
"What the f-"
'There's nothing you can- you don't need to do anything else.'
Was that what they'd meant? Had they known he would die in her arms when they'd handed him off?
"Amrita?" she called, looking up anxiously.
Anyone, get anyone, sure you know her, but anyone who could help him-
Before she could force herself back into reality, gloved hands took the still baby out of her arms. It was too calm, why weren't they trying to do anything?-
"What's going on," she said in a low voice, staring at the floor in a daze.
Another employee shushed her, not unkindly, but it still made her nervous as she looked back up.
"Is he okay- what happened, what- I didn't even-"
"It's okay now, we're under control here," a foreign voice said. "I'm gonna have to ask you to leave, hun."
Paislie looked back just in time to see a blanket thrown over the boy who they'd just taken from her.
"Stop it! What are they doing, they didn't even try, go back," she protested, pushing against all the hands reaching for her.
Paislie saw Amrita shake her head in her peripherals, but she didn't care, didn't react when the other called her name.
"It's not too late!" she finally screamed, nearly throwing off the lab coat in her panic. "Help him!"
A mask was shoved at her face, and she ducked away.
Before she was aware that she'd run, she was on the floor of the bathrooms, throwing up the undigested remnants of her lunch.
Hands pressed a gentle weight against her shoulders, and she nearly decked their owner before she realized it was Amrita.
Paislie just broke down, not entirely letting Amrita comfort her but not pulling away either.
"I should've told you not to go in there, I'm sorry," the older said. "You shouldn't have-"
The doors opened. Masked drones stalked mechanically towards the two.
"Don't mask Paislie, I can talk to her, she's just confused," Amrita said, standing up beside Paislie's hunched form.
The drones didn't listen.
They easily shoved past Amrita, not that the other made an attempt to stop them. It wouldn't have been any use. They all knew that.
Before Paislie even had a chance to fight back, several hands grabbed her arms and restrained her.
Blank whiteness blotted out her vision as she felt her mind lose control of itself.
Paislie should've learned to welcome the oblivion by now.
And maybe she should've given up on saving anyone a long time ago, she couldn't help but think a few weeks later when Amrita had explained what had happened to that little nameless boy.
Paislie had failed to save one more person. And just like before Showfall, it would stick with her no matter how much her mind got wiped.

Honestly I don’t even know what to put here that would be funnier than what is written
[IMAGE ID: An IMDB page review for good omens season 2 that gives it 7/10 stars. The review is tilted “Ok, but” and the reviewer wrote OK, but was it really necessary to put the show and our beloved characters in a romantic relation and experience?
Could it not be a great, epic bro-mance? I mean, I have no problem with the direction that the creators took, but we have already a couple in the show with the same effect and quite romantic and beautifully written and acted throughout the six episode of season 2. Why double down on that?
The show is still 10/10 for me, no change there. But sometimes a great bro-mance - a well-written and acted bro-mance - is all that audience needs.
One more thing: While watching this season I could not help but wondering, Michael Emerson would be fitting, too, as Mr. Fell. Just a thought.”] END ID

me to me: make one more character. also me: i love liz too god damn much not to take her too.
anyway
liz was born and raised in mystic falls as a child of one of the founding families. she grew up knowing damn well that vampires were real but that was about it. going a little deeper into it, she felt it was her responsibility to take the torch from her father who thought it should be a man’s job to take care of the vampires. that really grinded her gears but she proved herself one way or another throughout her childhood and teen years.
she grew up with the parents of the scooby gang; though she was closer to some more than others. in fact, she was once close to kelly donovan until she wasn’t. their kids never knew this or that their falling out happened because she was dared to kiss someone at a party one evening. something about the prettiest or handsomest but regardless, liz chose kelly hence why kelly called her lezzie forbes until kelly left (both times).
she dated bill and eventually married him. she believed it was right; whether she loved him or it was what she was supposed to do as a woman. they had a daughter, caroline, and liz loved her possibly more than she loved herself or bill. when bill came out as gay, she was heart broken sure, but not in the way you’d expect. in an even littler way, she was almost jealous of the fact that he had come out.
she sank herself into caroline and work, and eventually became mystic fall’s first female sheriff while handling founder’s business behind closed doors.
in the end, liz struggled a lot with vampires and the hatred she was raised with. it changed once she saw that not all vampires were monsters thanks to caroline and her friends.
liz was able to stay in mystic falls despite the fact that caroline and the kids couldn’t. she didn’t want to but she was reminded that it was a safer option and for a while, that was okay but recently, liz came to realize that she was suffocating. for one thing, life in mystic falls wasn’t the same and the work she had dived into didn’t fill the new hole she had while missing caroline. and another, she was starting to have panic attacks around a new employee who she thought was pretty. the truth is, she’s a lesbian. some might’ve already figured it out but it took her whole life to realize it and she came to town to tell caroline the truth because she was the first person she thought of telling first; not realizing that this town had become mystic falls 2.0.

He gently rifles through the contents, aware of Buck watching, and picks up a few of the items— ticket stubs, birthday cards from Abuela, a bolt with the letter E embossed on the side, candy wrappers, scribbled notes and sketches from school friends. The usual crap a kid thinks is worth saving.
There are a few pictures too, of his sisters, a dog they’d had growing up, a class picture too small to make out any detail, some blurry scenery shots. And then he finds a picture that makes his throat tighten. It’s of him, when he was fourteen? Maybe? He must have stashed it away not long before the box was unreachable. There’s another boy in the picture with him, a lanky kid with sandy hair and freckles, his arm thrown around Eddie’s shoulders as Eddie gazes up at him with what can only be described as pure adoration.

Sometimes I remember the woman from my bibble class who tried to make us (the 20 kids she was teaching to) stop whatching SpongeBob because it would make us gays.
I actually almost stopped because it was the class so we would be considered old enought to do communion and she said that she could make us not graduate and be unable to take communion and have to do the class again. But than I told my dad and he sayed he whatched SpongeBob and wasn't gay and that "how would she even know what cartoons you're whatching" so I didn't.

I literally hate my music teacher.
This woman is so racist and homophobic like she was talking about some instruments and one of them sounds like the f slur, she proceeds to say the slur 3 times like you didn't need to do that.
Then one time out of nowhere she just starts talking about an orphanage she funds in India? Like where did that come from? While looking straight at me (I am Indian). Then she goes on about the castle system and the whole girl child murder. And it makes no sense, everyone is various degrees of uncomfortable.
She gave me my graded essay on the Eurovision and it was perfect, zero mistakes perfect structure.
I got a 9.2 and when I asked her about it she said 'nobody is perfect' like hello? You gave me a 9.2/10 because of the inherent flaw of being human?
She is absolute walking garbage.

Lately, Satoru has been thinking a lot more about you.
He shouldn't be. Choso's been on his ass for stupid mistakes, like a slight misstep during practice, or the way his voice wavers ever so slightly on notes that are well within his vocal range. Nanami grumbles a bit more when recording sessions extend even further. Haibara brings him an extra water bottle during practice. Even Sukuna is slightly nicer to him, as if he can see how much Satoru is struggling.
Satoru hates it. It makes him feel weak, because he knows now that he misses you more than his heart can bear. He has women throwing themselves at him left and right, so why does a girl from a town he left behind make something in his chest twist? By all accounts, Satoru is thriving. He has a wonderful relationship with his boyfriend, his boy group has broken record after record with each single they release, and Satoru has just signed onto a brand deal with Chanel.
(He knows you're not just a girl, you were his. The only person he could bear to share Suguru with, the only person who could see past his flirtatious facade and say, "It's okay, 'Toru, I'm here for you." He knows the reason why he forces himself to believe you would have only shunned him like his parents, is to run from the realization that he abandoned you in the most horrific way possible.)
It doesn't help that his managers handle all of his social media accounts, and go through all his mail. As soon as him and Suguru signed onto the same agency, their phone lines were decommissioned, and they were given highly protected personal phones. You wouldn't be able to reach him even if you wanted to. Hell, they barely even saw Shoko, and the only reason was because they were both the only people who trusted her to take care of their medical needs.
Suguru had tried, once, to ask about you, to get a way of contacting you. Shoko had looked him dead in the eyes, steel hidden behind soft brown, and told him that, "if you were just going to abandon her like that, at least have the decency to stay gone until they could commit to her fully." The way Suguru's face had paled only confirmed the worst for Satoru; you hadn't understood. You had seen their leaving as the worst kind of betrayal. Shoko had refused to tell them more, stubborn in her loyalty to you.
At first, it was easier to hide shame behind a kind of disdain. Of course you hadn't understood what it had been like, being rejected so violently by parents you once loved. Of course you hadn't understood what it was like to feel the noose tighten around your neck until you knew you would either run, or die. Maybe if you couldn't let them go, it meant you truly had never loved them anyways.
As the months grew, slowly and surely, the tangle of excuses unraveled. You might not have understood, but you had defended him silently in small rebellious ways. The eyeshadow palette that still sat at his vanity. The birthday card you'd made him when you turned 14, with a small rainbow under the phrase "I'll love you no matter what." You too had felt the noose; you'd spent years fighting it, fighting your hatred of the small town you were forced to grow up in. "Satoru, Suguru, Shoko," you would tell them, "one day we'll all move out of here into the nicest, fanciest apartment in the city."
Grief was love with nowhere to go, and in that particular moment, Satoru found your absence particularly painful. Sighing, he stretches, resting his chin on the back of the couch to stare at the clock. 12:36; Suguru was probably still awake. Quietly, Satoru pads to the spare room in the apartment he shares with Suguru that they'd converted into their music and production room. Unsurprisingly, he finds Suguru perched on an old barstool they thrifted, gently strumming the strings of the guitar you'd gifted him so long ago.
"Satoru," Suguru says softly, pausing. "What's wrong? I thought you'd be asleep by now."
Wordlessly, Satoru wraps his arms around him, nuzzling into the slope of his neck. After a few moments, he speaks.
"I miss her."
He can feel the way Suguru stiffens slightly in his arms, before exhaling, tension releasing from his shoulders. "I miss her too. I've been thinking, Satoru."
"That's dangerous for you," Satoru chides, and Suguru rolls his eyes fondly.
"You're such a brat. I've been thinking, what if we went back?"
Satoru blanches, staring at Suguru. "What?"
"Not permanently," Suguru hastily amends, knowing how deep Satoru's scars run. "Just enough to...I don't know, Satoru. We messed up really badly. I know there's a large chance she won't even be there anymore. She used to always tell us about how she couldn't wait to move to the city. But we can at least start there, right?"
The news of Satoru's hiatus caused enough ripples for even you to notice it. Despite the fact you avoided anything to do with both his and Suguru's music career, every news outlet, radio channel, and social media post had something to say about it. Hell, you couldn't even open the local newspaper without seeing his face plastered on it, lamenting his temporary break from the group's next comeback.
Frowning, you slam the kitchen cabinet door a bit harder than necessary. Why should you care? If anything, you should be gloating with this piece of information, that not everything was perfect in Gojo Satoru's idol career. Yet, a small part of you still worried. Was he eating alright? Did something happen to Suguru? Should you call Shoko?
The door chimes, startling you out of your thoughts. Your parents are back in the hospital undergoing another round of treatments but they could have came back early. Sighing, you walk over to the door, opening it without a second thought.
"Hi, what-"
In that moment, you feel several emotions. Regret, that you hadn't checked who it was before opening it. An odd blend of concern and fear; why had they come back, was something horribly wrong? Most overpoweringly, was the deep sense of anger that welled up inside of you, seeing both Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru standing on your doorstep.
"You're here," Sator- Gojo, breathes, crystalline blue eyes greedily drinking in the sight of you. He reaches for you, but you flinch back.
"What are you doing here?"
You're surprised to see that Gojo seems hurt by that statement. Sugu- Geto steps closer. "We wanted to see you."
"Oh, so a whim?" You can't help the harshness of your voice, or the way that your voice trembles ever so slightly. "Its been years, Geto. Five years since you left, and you come back now? What am I, just an afterthought? I already knew that but my god you're such an asshole."
"That's not what I'm saying," Geto sighs, and you want to throttle him. "We missed you so much, I can't even-"
You can't help but cut him off, fists clenched and hot tears pooling in your eyes. "You could have left a note. You could have left me an address, could have reached out once you settled in, anything!"
It's Gojo's turn to speak, hands fidgeting as if he wants to pull you close. "Our managers-"
"I don't care!"
A hush falls after your outburst, and you can't help the tears that slip down your cheeks. "Did I really mean that little to you? I would have left with you, I would have done anything for you, so don't you dare try to come up with an excuse. Don't try to tell me that your managers stopped you. I loved you." Your voice breaks. "How could you?"
Both men look ashamed. Geto is the first to speak. "We thought you would have moved away. We lost our original numbers, and Shoko refused to-"
Your eyes flash. "Don't try to blame Shoko for this. Unlike the two of you, she stayed with me."
Gojo flinches. "That's not fair. We didn't have a choice, why can't you see that?"
A sardonic laugh escapes your lips. "See what? All I see is the choice you made in leaving me behind."
"What happened to you?" Geto breathes, and you fight the urge to slap him. "You were so adamant that you would get out of this town."
"Well I can't," you hiss. "Not all of us can abandon their loved ones without a second thought."
Gojo's face looks like you've just shattered his world. "You never left?"
Something in the way he says that breaks something inside of you. "Mom and Dad have whatever Grandmother had," you tell them. You're not even sure why you're saying this, but there's a sick sense of pleasure in watching it start to sink in. "There's nobody else to help take care of them. Whenever she can, Shoko will try her best to stop by."
"You've been alone," Geto murmurs, horrified.
Venom fills your mouth. "I have been since I was sixteen, thanks for asking. You think I didn't notice that you two were together? You never even said anything to me and I still figured it out." Gojo's face pales but you plow forward. "It was always Satoru and Suguru, Gojo and Geto, but what about me? I was there too, wasn't I?" Blood drips down your palms; you're digging your nails in hard enough to cut. "You two forgot about me. You discarded me, left me behind. Did you really think so little of me? Did you really think I would treat you like everyone else in this town?" You can see the pain in Geto's eyes. "As if it wasn't enough, I had to see you everywhere. It's nice seeing how quickly both of you replaced me with other women."
Gojo calls your name but you shake your head, vision blurring. "Go fuck yourself, both of you. Don't talk to me. I wish you'd never come back." Whirling back inside, you slam the door, ignoring the frantic banging and shouts. As you sink to the floor, you finally allow yourself to sob, curled up against the solid wood doorframe. I thought it was over, you think miserably. But somehow it hurts more than the day they left.
