Well that's a skill they don't teach in boot camp.
Another take on my first sole survivor, Nora. It's not that she's scared of mirelurks, there's just somthing about that noise they make. 😖

My first time playing Fallout 4 has been awesome! Sometimes you're on a super serious mission and suddenly you're dragged into helping robot pirates. It's great! That said, this was the first time I've disappointed my entire team because I sided with Ironside and, uh, killed all the scavs :(
But listen, Vault Boy here has a soft spot for sentry bots like Ironsides, he used to serve with them back in the day! It was nice to be treated like a fellow soldier again, and yes, the added bonus of them being pirates helped sweeten the deal.
So it was all worth it. And now I have a cannonball gun for Boe the Vault Boy!

Oh my fucking god I just realized. So I hadn’t read the vault 111 terminals in full pretty much since the first few times I played Fallout 4. Recently though I’ve been playing with my friend who’s never played before and he, of course, read them. That was like 3 weeks ago and today my dad said something that made me start thinking of the Vault Tec rep.
I had always been so weirded out by how he acts at your door and how it’s seems obvious that he somehow knew the bombs were about to drop. It is never explained which I always thought was strange and theorized about it. Today I just realized I was actually so stupid for that because the overseer’s terminal in 111 says something like “Thank god we got the early warning.” and “We were just barely able to get all of the people signed up including some last minute ones from the neighborhood down the hill”. The Vault Tec rep knew the bombs were about to drop and was told to go and rush signing up the last few residents they needed!!
I seriously can’t believe I had never connected those dots when I have thought about how weird it was that the Vault Tec rep seemingly knew abt the bombs for years!

Connection between Vault 31 and Vault 111 theory.
What if Vault 111 was supposed to be an early warning for Bud's Buds frozen in 31? So if the Dwellers in 111 started dying due to prolonged suspension in the Cryo Pods, all of the Vault Tec people in 31 would be thawed out immediately. That would explain why Dwellers in 111 were never supposed to be thawed out even after an All Clear. And the reason the signal wasn't sent was because of the system override.

SPOILER ALERT & FAN THEORY
Theory that Janey, The Ghoul's daughter, is Rose Mclean, aka Lucy's mother.
‐------------------------------------
Theory that Janey, The Ghoul's daughter, is Rose Mclean, aka Lucy's mother. We know that VaultTech is not above taking and brainwashing/molding children for future purposes, and this includes separating her from her mother (Vault 75) or cryogenically freezing her (Vault 31 & 111) would make sense. We know that Bob Askin kept bringing up the executive program (Bob's Buds) for Janey to participate in and that her mother secured her a place in an executive (manager) vault that would be in charge of other vaults.
Also, their family dog is named Roosevelt. The show even make a point to say that Janey absolutely loves the dog and sad that the dog won't be with them and how this causes an argument between Cooper and Barb. A Chekhov's Gun if you will. So Janey shortens Roosevelt to Rose or gets her her name changed to Rose in honour of her dog when she gets to the vault. We know her dad has no idea where she is, and maybe her mother didn't make it to the same vault in time, leaving her to grow up alone.
Similar to the case of Freddy Woods (Fallout 76), when Janey and Cooper get separated, she is potentially in the same vault as Hank because he was her mother's assistant and would be the most likely to retrieve her in the event of nuclear war to go to the Vault. Hank then goes into 31 where they are frozen along with the rest of Bob's Buds and the get unfrozen at different time period so they don't see each other for years. Rose/Janey then marries Hank after she has grown up in 32 or 33 and he is Overseer. They then have Lucy and Norm together and Shady Sands happens and so on...
This also adds a layer of devastation, though, because Cooper Howard unknowingly meets his granddaughter when trying to kill her (Family drama, am I right?) And incidentally witnesses the fate of his daughter and potentially goes after his son-in-law Hank with Lucy at the end of season 1 for his family only the find out how fucked the whole situation is.

Julie and Deacon
Tumblr media
@falloutober day 13: Civilisation
Julie struggled with the ‘new’ world when she first left vault 111, but her discovery of a working camera helps to ground her a little.
Deacon definitely isn’t keen on the camera, for obvious reasons - but he does bend slightly, especially after the institute is destroyed.
This picture is them getting ready to work a job in Goodneighbor as a glamorous couple spending way too much money in the Third Rail. Here’s hoping they get the intel they need from the patrons.

I can't help but always think that either Kellogg’s team, or the team that followed to free Sosu on Father’s orders, decided to kill all the other survivors of the Vault
Because it is surely not a random dysfunction
They deliberately kept Sosu alive by killing all the others

“While playing Fallout 4 and going around Vault 81 I realized something.
My character could have led an expedition of 81 personnel to Vault 111 to strip that icy tomb of anything and everything of value to them.
Old or not there would no doubt be spare parts galore!“
