You gotta continue the Gladiator AU!! I'm dying to know what's gonna happen next!
Thena shot to her feet as her mother exited the private healing chambers reserved only for the most important of patients. "Is he...?"
Ajak placed a hand - properly scrubbed and rid of blood - on her daughter's shoulder. "He will live."
Thena rushed past her mother, regardless of royal manner and protocol. She crossed what felt like an insurmountable distance between the door to the room and the bed, nearly falling to her knees at the sight of Gilgamesh lying there, breathing.
He was breathing.
Ajak walked in again, following her daughter to deliver more news than simply that he was not deceased. "He is lucky--he's only alive because of how strong he is."
Thena's eyes were already swimming with tears, "oh, Gil."
Ajak kept quiet about the way Thena's hand ran over his cheek and forehead and into his hair. She sighed, "Thena."
"I told you," Thena whispered to him, all but ignoring her mother over her shoulder. "I told you not to fight that monster."
"Speaking of that monster," Ajak spoke just a little louder. She required Thena's attention. "Thena, we must speak with Eros."
Thena swiped at her eyes, taking up her typical stoic expression. "I have nothing to say to that man."
"Thena," Ajak repeated, although Thena went back to leaning over Gilgamesh, watching his take slow but deep breaths. They had sewn his wounds, treated his swelling as best they could. He looked somewhat like his usual self.
"Mother, please," Thena looked up at her, her hand clutching at Gilgamesh's. "What could I possibly have to say to him?"
"He is our guest," Ajak grumbled, just as regretful of that fact as Thena. "We must see him off, especially to tell him that you will not be leaving with him?"
Thena kept her eyes on their Champion of champions. "I knew he would win. But...but what he did for us... "
What he had done for her specifically, rather. What he had done as a humble Fighter in the name of Thena's life and freedom was unparalleled.
Ajak sighed deeply. "I know you do not want to speak with the prince. I do not want to either, Thena. But-"
"What if he wakes?" Thena cut her mother off, which was a punishable act for anyone else. "What if he wakes and he's alone? H-He won't know what happened. Last he woke and thought he lost he nearly leapt to his feet. If he does that this time he will-"
"Thena," Ajak gripped her shoulder, stilling her anxious child's unusually twisted tongue.
"I will not leave him, Mother."
Ajak looked at Thena, the determined line of her eyebrows and the set of her jaw. She looked down at her hand in Gilgamesh's, their fingers woven together like trees meeting over a walkway and reaching for each other's branches for support.
"I will commit no other treason in my life," Thena promised, turning around again now that her peace was said. She used her free hand to smooth over Gil's blankets. "If you allow me this one solace, I shall do anything you ask of me for the rest of my days."
What a steep price for such a small request.
Ajak regarded Thena, perched at the gladiator's side. It was different from even the last time she had found her so. And something she had seen only drops of before was now thundering in her ears. "I have no more asks to demand, I think now, my dear."
Thena regarded her mother as she stood at the head of the bed, also sparing their Champion a warm glance.
"The condition of his victory," Ajak elaborated, gesturing to the man unconsciously being showered with Thena's attentions. "It was not for your marriage to another party, but that the choice be left up to you. All my efforts to find you suitors these years will be no longer."
Thena visibly considered it just as the words were hitting the air.
"Have you?" Ajak prodded lightly, tilting her head to catch any shift in Thena's reaction as she looked at Gilgamesh again. "Thought about it?"
"No," she answered automatically. And in truth, she had never considered her own marriage in real terms--not until it became very, very real to her over the past weeks. She sighed, her shoulders sinking low, "no, I haven't."
Ajak caught the way Thena's other hand was also taken in by the siren call of Gil's hand lying on the bed. She could say whatever she liked, but her hands holding his the way she would treasure the gift of life itself said more than enough. "I will see off the prince."
Thena looked up at her, "truly?"
"Yes, you stay with Gilgamesh," Ajak conceded, with the same smile any mother got when allowing their child something out of sheer love of their happiness. "Like you say, we can't have him worsening his condition if he wakes alone."
"Thank you, Mother," Thena blinked, tears rising in her eyes again. She did not even wipe them away this time, blinking rapidly until the tears were caught in her eyelashes.
"Hm," Ajak hummed with an affectionate hand to Thena's shoulder on her way past. "Perhaps this is for the best. I will not have to endure him looking at you the way a teen looks at his first brothel."
Thena wasn't even listening.
Ajak sighed again. "Alert the guards when he wakes. They will fetch me."
"Yes," Thena mumbled, barely paying her mind as Gil's breath hitched in his sleep. She rose only to rub his chest and adjust his pillow, soothing his discomfort. "I shall."
Ajak smiled on her way to see off their most unwelcome guest. She would have to wait some time, she imagined, but she was quite sure that Thena's decision to marry would come sooner than she could have hoped.

Murray, after watching Steve and Eddie for all of five seconds, confidently walks up to them and starts his whole spiel about pining blah blah etc etc, and like, Steve will absolutely not have that, there is no way.
So he snorts, looks at Murray down his nose, and with zero hesitation lies, tells him “We’ve been dating for a month, congrats on seeing the obvious... Or not since you couldn’t tell”
He just hopes Eddie will play along. Steve is sending him the strongest signals with his mind right now, and, just, he knows Eddie can be petty like this too (that’s why he likes him so much, and yeah Murray is a little right but fuck him so much more for it)
Eddie ‘lives for the bit and to fuck with people’ Munson does not disappoint. He slings an arm around Steve and is like “Yeaaahhh wow, real clever observation there buddy.” In the driest tone imaginable
And Murray, well he was sure he was right, still kind of is sure he’s right so he just squints at them for a bit and then breaks out in a wide grin, and only sounds a little sarcastic when he says “Congrats on figuring your shit out yourselves.”
Except he absolutely does not mean it because he wanted to do that, he likes doing that. And now he's sulking and will watch them so closely because something seems off
Eddie and Steve, so committed to the bit and to not let Murray win, start fake dating. All while Murray tries to catch them in their lie, and they’re all too stubborn to give up
Murray starts to slowly think he maybe was wrong though because they really seem like a couple. And even though there’s still something there he can’t ignore the proof.
When they straight up make out in front of him, and he can tell that they’re so lost in each other they probably don’t know he’s there he's about to concede
But then after that, they act so weird around each other again? It’s like before but worse and how did the pining get worse when they’re actually openly together? Regularly have their tongues down each other's throats and all?
Meanwhile, Steve and Eddie are going through it because they thought they’d be okay but that kiss was so much, and oh god they don’t think they can do this? But they can’t let Murray win?
A week and a half later at their monthly 'we survived the apocalypse, again' get-together at Hoppers and Joyce’s, Murray just gets enough of how twitchy they are. He grabs them both and locks them in a closet and is like “I don’t wanna know anymore, whatever fight you had or didn’t figure it out”
They sort of stand there shuffling from foot to foot not marking eye contact until Eddie is just like “Oh for fucks sake, I like you for real okay? The bastard was right so can we actually just date? Please?” And all Steve's can do is say "Thank god," while he smiles the most blinding smile and grabs Eddie by his collar pulling him in for a kiss
Fifteen minutes later they come out of the closet (the irony and symbolism is not lost on them) all disheveled and a little too satisfied looking and are met with very loud screaming from all the younger teens, ranging from a simple “Ew!” (Mike) to “Dude we are right here what if we'd heard? Or walked in there and seen?” (Dustin)
They’re lucky they’re too distracted by this to see Murray's self-satisfied smirk because if they did they would have pretend broken up and there would have been another month of sneaking around but this time actually dating and pretending they weren’t

I’m in love with how they are giving so many subtle hints about Alhaitham and Kaveh’s relationship and how important it is to Alhaitham, despite the way they always seem to be bickering.
Throughout the 3.2 archon quest Alhaitham tells us that the reason why he is so interested in helping Sumeru is because he doesn’t want his daily life to change. After that Kaveh starts being mentioned very frequently by him or we hear other people in the akademiya complain about how they daily argue.
Then, of course, we meet them both arguing with each other in the House of Daena, which was quite the argument. We also know many of their casual interactions and how they go to the café/bar frequently together. Furthermore, Alhaitham pays all of Kaveh’s bills (something no one would do for someone they don't care for).
And now, during Alhaitham’s quest, their tones were so soft (At least in JP and CN) and also domestic. Kaveh seems to worry a lot about Alhaitham and exchanges glances with him, which made me melt inside. I also love how Alhaitham is constantly smiling while bickering with kaveh. Remember, we dont see him smiling like this that often. Which means he really enjoys it. I really liked how after the second time Kaveh asked him if he is okay, he replied with a tease about the painting Kaveh had mentioned before. Also smiling.
But most importantly, something I see no one talking about: the moment when Alhaitham was explaining why he resigned from being the Grand Sage to being the scribe again and he tells us that “It’s important to keep your priorities straight”, the camera points at Kaveh.
I know this game will probably never have any canon ship because they need to make everyone happy, but we do get hints like this from time to time and I think this was one of them.
After all, why would they bother to add all of those scenes with Kaveh when the quests had already concluded, if not for showing us how is what is Alhaitham’s daily life he wants to protect that much? We saw how happy he is, how eager he was to get home and go have dinner with Kaveh. We also see how Kaveh had been waiting for him as well.
I’d like to know more about their relationship, even if it ends up not being romantic (though how do you explain that face Kaveh made when paimon asked if they are friends).

i think i enjoy drawing dream more than anyone else because of his features. he has a very square face shape, very strong jawline and chin, those big puppy dog down turned eyes, a cute unsymmetrical nose, small yet full lips.
i adore his eye bags and patchy beard that has a really nice shape and fits his face perfectly. i love his curly ice cream hair. i love how he’s tall and lanky, yet he’s big and sturdy at the same time.
he used to really challenge me every time i drew him because his unique features and proportions were something i was never used to drawing. he is so different compared to the people i used to obsessively draw and i love him so much for it. he has helped me improve so so so much.
he looks very different from a lot of other famous people i’ve been a fan of and used to draw. i think haters find him “unattractive” because they don’t believe he fits the criteria they subconsciously look for when deeming whether or not someone fits the beauty standard. however i think that makes him even more beautiful.
it was a weird experience after he face revealed for everyone because whether you had a very clear picture in your head of what he may have looked like, or had ideas of what he could’ve possibly looked like, i don’t think any of us were expecting this. even i had a hard time hearing his voice come from some random guy, not in a bad way of course it was just something i had to get used to.
but now it makes so much sense. like yes. THIS is dream. and i cannot imagine him any differently. down to his body language, facial expressions, the clothes he wears and how he styles his hair, it fits the person i had only known as a voice for years So perfectly.
he is so very dream and i love him so much thank you for coming to my ted talk

it’s a small thing, but while I was working on the Transmogrification Explained Part 2 I caught something that I thought was interesting enough to share.
At this point (see below) at the end of the finale, after the ceremony, all the housemates go into the fancy room and Nandor says something about playing Parcheesi right before he takes a brief moment to comfort Guillermo the tiniest bit.
Right afterwards however, instead of doing as he said he would and follow everyone else into the fancy room, he heads right, down the hallway, most likely going straight to his room.
All the nonchalance and dismissal and ‘hey, let's pretend everything is fine and back to normal now!’ talk is a feint. Nandor doesn’t go into the fancy room to take comfort with the group and deny that anything important happened, and since he told Guillermo to clean up Derek before sunrise (something I thought was odd at the time because why would it matter if Guillermo left it until sunrise when everyone would be asleep anyways), he knows Guillermo won’t follow him.
Nandor is choosing to be alone after all this. It’s a very neat little character bit that is easily overlooked within the noise of the episode. While the tone at the end of the ceremony looks like everyone is moving back to square one and blatantly ignoring the seriousness of the situation to do something as banal as a board game, the actual actions of the characters show that there really is devastation amongst them. Guillermo’s obvious, but Nandor’s is hidden with a line that distracts us from noticing that he actually retreats from everyone and hides away.
It really makes me wonder what Nandor did after everything. Used the time to get himself ready for bed so Guillermo couldn’t wouldn’t have to do it when he got back? Sulked? Had a tantrum? Went into his treasure room to read Guillermo’s thank you card again and again?
oh and another little thing: Guillermo and Nandor are the only ones who still have their robes on after the ceremony, and actually end the scene still in them. All the other characters almost immediately took them off after the lights went on.
having them the only two that still wear the robes feels so significant to me. like they’re still in this ritual between them. Or, if the bondage rope part of it comes into play, they are still tied to each other. There’s definitely something to be read here, with both Nandor keeping the rope-cape on and pretending like he was going to follow the others but going to his room instead. Whatever it is, one thing’s for certain to me: Nandor is Not Okay after the ceremony.
