so, when @dearestdo3 posted her lovely Pokémon drawing, it made me want to sketch my old team too! well, i should say teamS because i couldn’t choose in the end 😩

so here’s the roundup: (it’s more of what team would represent him rather than who he’d pick of course 🤭) (and it's my AU!Snape so no Lily or does involved)

Young angry Death Eater Sev.

Corvisquire — his patronus is a raven, and although at this age he wouldn’t be able to cast one, i still had to include one bc it represents him quite well. (not too fond of other raven Pokémon, i hesitated with Corviknight but find him too sturdy/metal-looking)

Seviper — he obviously needs a snake Pokémon. not my fave snake design but i usually pick this one for two reasons: can’t ignore that he’s called SEViper, and i like that he is canonically Zangoose’s rival who reminds me of McGonagall/Gryffindor :D

Alolan Marowak — this Sev has traumatic mommy issues so Cubone is a nice pick, and the sinister witchy Ghost evolution is 👌🏻 (tried to draw him in an agressive action pose and failed miserably alas, so he’s just waiting ominously)

Duskull — i had to pick at least one Death Eater Pokémon, so the death mark one it is.

Absol — he’s just there for the gloomy emo vibe 🤌🏻

Crobat — well. he’s a BAT. a COOL BAT.

thought about drawing a Voldie-Serperior in the background and then got lazy so please imagine he's there 😌

Chiller adult Sev. pissed off by his work and moldy voldy coming back, but overall has been working on his issues and is much more in control of himself. healthier habits and hobbies.

Seviper & Corvisquire are still there bc they’re very representative of him

Gloom — i wanted a poison Pokémon for potion reasons. Gloom and her oozing seemed an interesting pick — especially since i accidently gave his gf a Bellossom

Hatterene — she’s so witchy and so gender ✨i felt she was not unlike his adult self, solitary, a bit sinister, magical and graceful.

Umbreon — he’s here for the emo vibes but chiller than Absol

Sinistea — magical tea for the magic British school. again chill vibes but also a little bit dark — fits Sev.

Muireann. what can i say, she’s all fluff and love and music

Blissey — she’s nurturing, she’s caring, she’s wholesome.

Vulpix — she’s also young and fiery

Gourgeist — Gourgeist is a redhead jack-o-lantern, and in French she’s named after banshees, so she made sense in the team of an Irish witch.

Wooloo — a wee happy lamb! also they have the same hairdo.

Bellossom & Meloetta are both here for musical reasons: Muireann is a dancer and singer and music is one of the most important things in her life — she’d have musical Pokémon.

I have been BRAINROTTING over an FMA/Pokemon crossover and I need to share it so!!!

this is gonna be a 'characters exist in the context of another universe' crossover, btw so prepare for that!!!! mostly gonna use Kanto-Alola, bc im not familiar really with Galar and Paldea (except for SNOM and Wooloo)

anyway!

regional starters don't reeeeeally matter in this version, if there's a lack of starters in one region, they'll get a starter from another region

any characters who are State Alchemists are now Gym Leaders! Roy is a fire-type, Armstrong is fighting-type, etc. Olivier is a member of the Elite Four because she's just That Good.

Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric grow up in Pallet Town, alongside Winry Rockbell, whose parents are doctors who sometimes help out Professor Oak with stuff.

Trisha Elric and Delia Ketchum are besties, so Ed and Al also grow up with Ash, who is ~2 years older (eg. when Ash goes to Hoenn, Ed is just starting his journey and drags Al along

when Ed and Al are about 4/5, Trisha gets sick when there's an outbreak of disease in the area. She died from this, but Ed and Al move in with the Rockbells (as Delia can't financially support three young children on a single salary).

Hohenheim, btw, is off doing something vaguely justice-y, maybe he's in deep cover in Team Rocket? Idk, but he's not in the picture. Ed and Al know that he's 'busy with work', but can't know what that is. He does his best to keep in contact, but Van Honhenheim is legally dead so there's that issue.

Father is Hohenheim's twin, and is all around a terrible guy. He leads a crime syndicate in one of the regions (don't ask where, maybe Kalos?) that is NOT the main evil team, and the Homunculi are his enforcers.

The homunculi all specialise in a different type (eg. Envy is a bug specialist, Pride is a ghost specialist, Sloth is a fighting specialist, etc). They're annoying as fuck to deal with, and fight by their own rules. If you're in a battle with them, you are aiming to kill, because they won't hesitate to kill you if you lose.

anyway, Winry's parents are killed during an attack by Team Rocket while they were travelling, but are fairly well-known by the Gym Leaders and Elite Four of various regions for,,,,reasons (I.e. they helped out one of the Champions in a tight spot and earned the respect of most).

Just before they get killed, however, Ash leaves on his journey. Ed does NOT particularly like Pikachu, and it's...a situation. But Ed can't WAIT to go on his journey!!!

then, of course, they're vibing and just living life when something comes round to kick their asses.

Its team rocket.

listen, these two kids are at least vaguely related to Professor Elric (aka Hohenheim, he helped out Professor Oak until he found Stuff and went into deep cover to keep the family safe) so surely they know something about his research, right? right???

they, uh, they don't. But the attack happens one night when they're in their dad's study reading about something. a lone member of team rocket is sent to 'retrieve them', and ends up fucking up so much that goddamn ARCEUS gets involved

basically, Ed and Al were just vibing when this fucker, instead of doing the sensible thing and knocking them out and then just nabbing them, decides to bring out a fuckin scyther who...can't grab stuff. shit happens, Ed loses a leg in the initial scuffle but when he's trying to get to Al, loses his arm, and Al...comes off better, but not much. He's lose a few fingers (ring and pinky on his right hand) and a chunk of his shoulder, and also got his larynx badly damaged, but he's...not in immediate danger.

A few weeks pass, and a Gym Leader named Roy comes around to investigate as a favour to one of the Officers Jenny. He's there with his best friend/sort-of girlfriend (Ed doesn't really know, it's definitely something), and he's awkward and angry.

Roy keeps it quiet, it's all under wraps, but when he was younger, before he became a Gym Leader, he was a member of Team Rocket. He...thought they were good, but he was wrong. He left soon after that and dragged his childhood friend, Riza, out with him. Since then, he's become the Elite Four and International Police's investigator and attack dog, while training to inherit the Cinnabar Island Gym.

- Sylvie’s had Munna since he was a child - His parents couldn’t find out why the egg wasn’t hatching and left it unattended for a second to calm down - baby!Sylvie got curious and touched the egg right as his parents walked in when the egg shuddered and hatched immediately - They’ve been partners ever since - Wooloo just followed him home one day after Sylvie fed it - Tauros also just followed him home, but unlike with Wooloo, Sylvie tried to get it to go back - …It didn’t

🍜 Giovani Potage🍜

1. Sinistea 2. Ditto 3. Gourgeist 4. Smoliv

- The Great Giovani Potage is definitely a bad guy no matter what anyone says {*side-eyes Beartrap*} - But! Bad guys don’t let innocent pokemon get hurt! - Smoliv and Sinistea were a package deal and Giovani defended them against a mean group of bullies - Gourgeist found him as a small form Pumpkaboo when he was kid - Giovani had gotten lost and he was crying, so Pumpkaboo got worried for him - She led him home and they became very fast friends :D - He makes little matching costumes for his Pokémon - Ditto didn’t trust Giovani at first - It was hurt, and angry, and nobody wanted it to stay a Ditto so it didn’t - It went on a rampage as Tyrantrum, causing large amounts of panic - Giovani, initially, wanted to run away before he noticed it’s eyes - He stood in front of it, scared, but understanding too. When the massive Pokémon leaned down to roar at him, Giovani grabbed its face with gentle hands - “I see you,” he said, “You don’t have to hide anymore” - And Ditto joined the adventure

Aged Up Hop x Non-Binary Reader

Prompt - " I'll always protect you"

You are traveling though the Wild Area to get to Hammerlock when you hear something.

It sounded like a Pokémon battle and someone just lost. You wanted to know if everyone was okay. It was fine, you were procrastinating going to Hammerlock anyway. So you pulled out your bike and started to ride to the area where you heard it.

It took you a while to find it but when you did your heart dropped. Hop was leaning over his Wooloo.

His Wooloo looked beat, and it needed to get help. When you heard laughing, you looked over to see two members of Team Yell.

You gritted your teeth.

You could piece together what happened. Neither of them seemed to notice you. You were about to go help Hop when one of the grunts started to speak. “That was one of the worst battles I’ve had!” They yelled and their friend yelled too.

“You’re the worst”, “So weak”, “You should get rid of that Wooloo”.

It went on and the more they spoke the more angry you got. The truth was that you were Hop’s partner.

You two started dating about halfway through your journey. You cared about Hop so hearing these losers talk bad about him made your blood boil.

Your hands were clenching your bike's handles and your breathing started to increase. Though you didn’t get to spend a lot of time with Hop because of the journey you still cared about him. He was your best friend.

When one of the grunts started to walk closer to Hop that's when you lost it. “Hey!” You yelled, scaring some Pokémon.

You dropped your bike and walked in front of Hop. You hovered your hand over your Pokeballs, ready to grab one if the Grunts wanted to fight.

Both the grunts and Hop were surprised when you revealed yourself. “Leave”, you said through gritted teeth.

The grunts were surprised by your anger but they didn’t move. “No”, one of them said. “You can’t tell us to leave”, the other said. You glanced back at Hop.

Wooloo needed help, you needed to finish this fast.

“No I can’t tell you”, you grabbed one of your Pokeballs, “But I can make you”. The grunts realized that they should leave and they did.

The smart choice. Once you made sure that they were gone, you placed your Pokeball back and turned around.

You immediately crouched down and dropped your bag. You got out a Full Revive and sprayed Wooloo. After a bit Wooloo looked to be better.

“Thank you Y/n”, Hop got Wooloo back in its Pokeball. You stood up and offered your hand to Hop.

“It’s been a while since I’ve seen you”, you said. Already calmer than before. Hop smiled but you could tell that it was forced.

“Why don’t we catch up?” Hop said with a fake smile. You nodded and grabbed Hop’s hand. You looked around for a clearing before finding one and walking there with Hop.

You and Hop exchanged stories about what’s been happening. You were happy to see Hop again and you could tell Hop was happy to see you too.

But you could also tell that Hop was saddened. You knew that it was probably about what Team Yell said and that made you mad all over again.

You wanted to ask Hop what was wrong.

Once you got to the clearing Hop started to set up but you placed your hand on his shoulder. Hop looked at you before you spoke.

“Are you okay?” You asked, and Hop looked back down. Hop sat, and you sat with him. “No. What they said hurt man”, you knew what and who Hop was talking about.

“They were right”, that made you mad. No. They were wrong. Hop was really strong and great and battles.

Hop had self-esteem issues because of being the little brother of the Champion. You had helped him, but Hop still needed reassurance.

“Stop talking about yourself like that”, You grabbed Hop’s hands and moved him so you two were facing each other. You were holding Hop’s hands in your and looking in his eyes. You noticed tears brimming his eyes.

“You are great. Do you know how many gym badges you have?” Hop smiled slightly. Last time you saw him, Hop had half of the badges he needed.

By that smile you assumed he had gotten more. “You are a great battler. Even though you lose sometimes you still win”, Hop looked confused at that.

So you explained. “When you lose you can learn from your mistakes and win the next fight”, Hop smiled. “Next time you meet Team Yell you’ll win and rub it in their faces”, you smiled and Hop had to remove his hands and wipe the tears that were falling out. You pulled Hop into a hug.

He was sitting on your lap as he slowly cried onto your jacket. You didn’t mind. “Just let it out. You’ll feel better”, you said while rubbing a hand up and down his back.

Once Hop calmed down he pulled away and you placed a kiss on his forehead. Hop blushed a bit and smiled at you. “Thank you for that Y/n. And thank you for protecting me”. You smiled and looked at Hop in the eyes.

“I’ll always protect you”

at this hour despite my rabid adoration of ms. rika pokemon scarletviolet (rika i love you. i adore you)

i am gently rotating hazel and leon in my mind at 500mph

(because if i ship rika with anybody it's gonna be RGB LOL she's impulsive and needs someone to yell at her for jumping into danger all the time)

specifically thinking again about the DLCs for pokemon sword and shield though.....

i still really wanna write it! but in short i wanna write hazel going to the isle of armor to train (she's more interested in exploring but still gets roped into signing up at the dojo) and pushing leon to finally finish what he'd started all those years ago

because leon was, in fact, a student under mustard at one point, but got lost on the way to the towers and never finished his training

but, like. the thing is "leon gets lost all the time" is sort of a double meaning situation- he gets lost because he's "pants at directions", and i believe that- but he also can perfectly get to the right place when he's really needed. sometimes he gets lost because, well- maybe it's too much pressure. maybe it's something else.

i'd like to think at that point, it was the latter rather than the former

they don't really imply WHEN this happened- just that leon never went all the way with training kubfu- presumably this was after he became champion? or maybe before???

either way, i want to explore that when leon joins hazel on her visit there- hazel gets a young, bright eyed kubfu ready to train, while leon bumps into the kubfu he'd been given all those years ago- who is bitter, angry, and hurt from being left behind, and leon's gotta make up for it

(and then <333 hazel and leon <3333 can have the two different urshifu forms <33333 and have a fun gmax battle against each other <3333333333333)

also i've been rotating the crown tundra dlc ft. hazel & leon in my mind for a while. kind of want raihan there too honestly. especially because sonia is there.....

the thought being that hazel and leon go through the story with calyrex together- leon having come to the crown tundra to investigate a possible sighting of rose, and hazel coming along- only for them to bump into peony and leon and peony catch up and talk more about rose

but also calyrex <3 i'd really like to sit down and think about some extended lore for the crown tundra, calyrex itself, etc. because it's really interesting how much it mirrors the whole troubled/dethroned king and forgotten royalty concept

ANYWAYS this is a lot of words to say "hazel and leon are holding hands in my brain"

uh. uh. one last thought

😳 hazel steals leon's cape once in a while. it smells like his cologne and is heavy like a weighted blanket.. the wooloo wool helps <3

The rancher's failing champion boyfriend

Character: Leon x male reader

Universe: Pokémon

Warnings: Slight angst

Slightly warm summer air, flowed over the wide grassland, rustling the many trees around and some even in the fenced-in area, which started at the end sides of a big house. Reaching over a massive amount of land. Multiple barns and other small houses were all over the place, just like different types of smaller enclosures for different types of Pokémon.

It was just another hard day of work. Your own Pokémon working with you, except for one, that slept all the way in.

Different than other days, this one felt especially lonely. The day, everyone should celebrate with their partner was the day before and you were alone, even though it shouldn’t have been that way.

Which was why you worked even harder that one, just to forget about everything, just like your boyfriend seemed to do.

You were just about to feet the Miltank, Wooloos, and Mareep, that you heard big wings over your head. Only one look into the sky, already told you who it was. An annoyed sigh escaped your mouth, as not long after, you got all the Wooloos near you, someone jumped down out of the sky, just to chase away, these easy-to-scare Pokémon.

„Hey,“ he confidently, with a proud swollen chest greeted you. But you on the other instead of kissing the floor he is walking on, just ignored him. Calling out to your Absol to get the Wooloos back to you.

Just to turn around and walk to the MIltank, waiting for their special treats. One by one, got a special berry, a crossing, that you with the help of a Professor made, to increase the ability of your Miltanks to produce milk and at the same time, make their immune system stronger.

„Hey babe!“, your boyfriend called out to you again. But just as before you ignored him, stroking the heads of your Pokémon and finally also checking if the wool of your Wooloos is ready to be sheered off.

„Did I do something?“

„I don’t know, maybe ask your calendar,“ you muttered angrily under your breath.

He could hear just so, because of your angry voice, which confused him. As he opened the calendar on his phone, he actually went pale. „I’m sure, we can make plans again!“, he tried to tell you.

Which actually got you from your kneeling position. But not without a long-winded heavy sigh. „No, we can’t. It was the last concert this band will ever give. I actually gave our cards away to my little brother and his friend, just so they don’t get wasted. And the restaurant opening, that we would've gone to after the concert, went well, even without my moral support for my best friend. He understood, that I wouldn’t want to come alone and that my boyfriend the champion of the Gala region, again let me hang.“

You could see the shame on your boyfriend's face. He hadn’t even the excuse of him being Champion, because you were one too, years ago.

„Six months, Leon! Six months, not a call, not a message. I only saw you on the news, nothing more. I even came by your home, sixteen times, but always got blown off, because you were in some important meeting!“ Your anger dissolved into disappointment at that point.

Your boyfriend could tell that, being disappointed in himself. „You could’ve sent me a message too, you know, or call. I would've answered you any time,“ he weakly tried to argue. At that point, you already had turned around to feed your Wooloos their special treats next. But you froze as he told you that. „Check your phone.“

Leon did that a moment later, just to become speechless. Every day in the last six months did you write him. About your day, the Pokémon, and so on, even telling him about the time Absol saved another Pokémon from drowning. Besides that, every second or third day, were also multiple calls from you.

„Oh.“

„Yeah, `Oh´.“

„How can I make it up to you?“, he asked determined after a long silence.

„I don’t even know if I want to continue this.“

„What?“, he asked confused.

„Our relationship, since you became champion, there isn’t much time for us anymore. I’m the owner of a ranch, an arena and champion consultant, owner of a Pokémon snack company, and a breeder. Even I have the time to of things with you.“ Your voice is exhausted not only from your work but from this useless conversation.

Leon thought about it for a while. But the one glance you gave him, told you already, that he wanted to stay with you. You wanted that too, you love this idiot. But to feel alone all the time is not what you had in mind, as he began his own journey.

„What if I let you fight me?“

You could only roll your eyes. „Get your Charizard out.“ And Leon did what you asked him to do. The moment it came out of his ball again. It looked around for the next fight, just to see you. It nuzzled its head immediately into your body, getting all the scratches it deserved.

„Would you like to fight against my Lucario, again?“, you asked it. Within an instant, it stopped its happy waggling, standing up straight, glancing between you and his partner, just to tip on his ball to vanish again. „Maybe you should finally learn, that some people are stronger than you, just like your Pokémon do.“

After feeding these three types of Pokémon their special treats, you went back, to fill up the water and normal food.

„You can help me, sit down in the house, or I don’t know fuck off?“ Already having enough of your boyfriend's antics.

At first, Leon, couldn’t think, why his sweet caring boyfriend, became so hard. For a moment, he even believed that your other best friend? Enemy? Frenemy? Beat you in a battle, but if that was the case, you would’ve been devastated.

So he followed you, while you carried a hay bale to one of the barns. Where multiple Taurus, waited for their food, just in the nick of time, as you put the bale down, he engulfed you from behind. Your hand still holding onto the bale, at the rope.

„What is going on?“, he asked again, this time a bit more pressing. Until you broke down. Really broke down, ugly crying and everything. Still holding onto this stupid bale.

But as your anger rise again, you pulled the rope that hold the bale together on its four sizes and ripped it in four. The work on the ranch made you strong.

„I missed you! I fucking missed you! Every day I was so alone, I felt forgotten by you!“, you finally cried, letting the rope fall to the floor, pressing yourself face first in Leon’s shirt.

His heart ached at seeing you like this. So weak, so broken, and all of this, because of his inconsiderate thinking.

„I will not be champion for much longer. Hop is on his journey this year, and-“

„Hop will never become champion. He does not have what you I have. His best friend or boyfriend I should say has a real chance!“

„How do you know this?“

Finally, your tears subsided again. You never were a person to cry at all. „Because I talk to him because we both missed you. And I watched some of his and his boyfriend's matches. They still don’t know that they are made for each other though.“

Leon could only shake his head in wonder how your brain actually works. „Don’t pressure my little brother into a relationship with another person!“, he jokingly told you off.

„So I also shouldn’t pressure Raihan to date someone?“, you asked sheepishly, already knowing that this one was already way too late.

„You didn’t!“, he almost swore at you.

„It is your fault! You weren’t here to stop me!“

He pressed you against his toned body a bit harder, „But I’m here now and I will never let you go again!“

Your heart melted at his declaration of pure love. What you craved for so long, finally happened. Now he only needed to propose. But that could wait, as long as he was yours.

It evolved into Sylveon at night while he was trying to get an Umbreon to stick with his dark types

Marnie caught the Eevee and had it trained as a thanks for her Morpeko which he caught for her when she was younger

Let's be honest she has more Woopers

Not just Paldean but Johto as well

Grusha Probably got one of the Johto Woopers for Rika so she let's it sit by her desk when she is interviewing Elite 4 challengers

Grusha

Has a fire type which throws everyone off

It was caught by Rika as a thanks for the Johto Wooper

Rika caught him a Vulpix and he cuddles with it at night

He plays with it when he isn’t busy with any gym challengers during the day and his Ice types are sleeping

It knows he loves it and it loves him a lot

His Charizard still battles but he trained it to be his Emotional support when Raihan and Piers aren't around

People aren’t really surprised his Charizard is his Support Pokemon

Raihan

Piers gave him a Galar Zigzagoon and he absolutely spoils it

He's trained it to bite ankles of people who make him angry

"He won't bite"

as it's chewing gently on Raihans arm while he speaks

Marnie

Her Morpeko is her emotional support as well as her best fighter

She wouldn't stop bugging Leon to train Morpeko for it

“He may be my best partner in battle but still, train ‘im fer me please” constantly

Leon eventually gave in and did it as well as trained the Eevee (now Sylveon which he finds kind of funny) for Piers

Allister

Says his ghost pokemon are enough

Is lying though

Secretly has a Espeon thanks to Nessa giving him an Eevee after she got it trained to be an emotional support pokemon by Sonia

He loved the Eevee and had such a good friendship it evolved in the daytime to an Espeon

He immediately showed Nessa and Sonia that it evolved

He cuddles with the Espeon at night when he had a rough day

Hop

Leon got him yet another Wooloo as a surprise

Did not expect it at all and started crying (of happiness)

He gave up his bed so the Wooloo would be comfortable at night

That Wooloo never leaves his side and has witnessed him lose so many battles at this point

Sonia

Both Nessa and Leon secretly got together and trained another Yamper for her

Walked into the lab and thought the other one was a wild one that wondered in

Nessa had to stop her and explain before she hurt it on accident

She was grateful and hugged both Leon and Nessa as tight as possible when she was done playing with both the Yampers

Both Yampers are spoiled as fuck

It was her idea for the Emotional Support pokemon and she brought it up to Leon who agreed on it

Atticus

He got a Piplup as gift from Penny

When he told people who got it for him they were shocked

His team was a bit skeptical of the penguin at first but they eventually warmed up to it

He designed a vest for it so people don’t tell him to send it out if they battle him

“This Piplup is a mere baby. I shall not let it get harmed in anyway”

He carries it around on his shoulder everywhere he goes

Pepper

He has a Fidough as an emotional support Pokemon

It sits in his dorm mostly

He cuddles up with it and his Mabosstiff at night

Mabosstiff was skeptical of the other dog Pokemon being brought around and still is

Pepper has to keep Mabosstiff from attacking the smaller dog Pokemon 90% of the time.

Pokmon and TWST?? Two my favorites in one?!!Sign me up!! Idia with a pumpkaboo! The little thing gets their own headphones and sits between his legs when he plays his video games. and snuggles Idia when whenever he gets depressed or sad. It loves Ortho to! Maybe a chancey that he clings to whenever he has to go outside. If he does run into any party animals the chancey will huff and make angry noises if Idia doesn’t want to go!

Imagen if Leona had whole team of big scary Pokémon- but the one you gotta look out for wooloo. Ankle biter, will play dirty, then has the audacity to look so cute after he terrorized the school. Leona cannot resist snuggling up to the little trouble maker.

I was torn between what Vil would have- but I think he’d probably have either a Milotic, and my favorite a Sylveon- he really would care what it evolved into but the little Eevee was shown Vil’s tough love and well reward praised that after a week it evolved into the pretty thing. Vil stills pampers the little thing and it has its own little hand bag to travel in and he gets then a mini pomefiore uniform complete with a mini crown ofc

Epel, without question, has and Applin.

I think it would be cute if Silver had a Munna since childood. Lilia got it for him to help with his condition. Since Silver sleeps so much, it eats all his bad dreams. Silver hasn't had nightmare since he was a kid.

Speaking of Lilia, I think one of his pokemon would be a Noivern. He's figured out how to use its speaker ears for music club concerts. Man is a menace when he take that thing out. Also Drampa. I like the idea of peepaw Lilia having the grandpa dragon, it loves Silver to bit. Even though Silver is older now, it will still go berserk if anything happened to him.

Well hello there fellow equally-as-sick-of-serving-customers person, thanks for the ask and I hope your definition of funny is someone being miserable cuz I love telling these stories when I'm near blackout drunk :D I'm gonna try to keep this short (I failed.)

Number 3; The time when a herding yamper herded a whole herd of herd Pokemon inside the fucking shelter!

> It's a beautiful night, where I have not lost to the temptations of the internet and am actually sleeping for once.

I woke up to a phone call, a newbie trainee that only says 'I fucked up. I fucked big time.' so what do I do? Of course I haul my ass there as fast as possible.

There, I see a VERY proud old yamper, asking for treats. And the inside of the shelter, filled with VERY confused mareep, wooloo, Taurus, and many more heard animals.

Yeah. I didn't got any sleep that night.

Number 2; The time I got decked out by a kangaskhan joey!

> A little info since it seems like it's not common knowledge: kangaskhan don't hatch out of the egg with a baby in their pouch. They hatch as the blue baby. The Pokemon Kangaskhan is one of the few Pokemon that change while growing up without evolving. They are herd animals and they take care of every joey instead of just their own. If a baby kangaskhan has a smaller baby in their pouch, it's probably belongs to someone else and it's babysitting till the mother comes back.

Now back to the story. It's my vacation day so I'm just chilling at home. My liepard sleeping and purring on my lap as I'm watching some cartoons (don't judge me) and eating a fruit salad drizzled in honey. Then, I get a call from some volunteers asking me to come because a baby kangaskhan just hatched and it doesn't look right.

Well, now my fruit salad is left to my Pokemon as I go to the shelter. Hoping it's just a shiny instead of disfigurement. I made my way there and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the baby, they just didn't know that's how kangaskhan looked freshly hatched. Well, I can't get angry at a bunch of teenagers for not knowing shit.

Something you need to know about baby kangaskhan is they don't handle being alone/not being in a pouch very well, especially when they are REALLY young. It triggers their fight-or-flight instinct. But, well, it just hatched moments ago so I'm not worried as I pull out the mock pouch from the closet.

Well, I SHOULD have been worried because the moment I crouched down next to it, the joey decked me in the face.

I don't remember much of the moment since I was dazed and laying on the ground. I just remember someone screaming, my froslass freaking out, and even more yelling from the baby kangaskhan cuz it was panicking with all the chaos around.

So, yeah, the rest of the 4 days she spent in the shelter before we could send her to an another shelter that had an adult without a baby, she didn't leave my side. I had to bring her home and I couldn't even remove my apron with the mock pouch attached to it cuz she would get really sad and give me big wet baby eyes until I picked her up again.

So lucky she had an easy time parting with me when we introduced her to an adult lol

Number 1; the time I ACTUALLY got to punch a customer!

As always, the story starts with me being called in by an inexperienced employee while I'm on my lunch break and he nervously says they have a customer problem. Well, that's what managers are for so I abandon my lunch to my Sceptile and get back to the shelter.

I go in and the first thing I notice is the smell of alcohol in the air. That's never a good sign. I hear some commotion near the nursery (we have 2, one for eggs/newly hatched Pokemon and one for baby Pokemon) with the eggs/newly hatched Pokemon in. That nursery that is looked over by Undertaker the Chandelure (who I mentioned before)

I walk there with my Sceptile, and lo and behold, a grown-ass man is throwing a tantrum. I mean the kind that where they hit the walls and screech on top of their lungs kinda shit. A teenage girl which just started volunteering 2 days ago is sobbing near the door.

The other volunteer fills me up on the situation as I checked up on the teenager. Apparently, he was angry that we didn't let him adopt Undertaker the Chandelure who is an employee that stays full-time. I calm the girl down and send her away then turn to the man.

I try to calm him down and tell him that if he doesn't calm down we are going to have to escort him out of here which is just a kinder way of saying we are gonna kick him out.

He doesn't calm down, at all. Hell, me saying he needs to calm down just makes him angrier so like a responsible and sensible adult, he punches the nursery window and that starts a ruckus inside, and send the poor Undertaker darting left and right, trying to calm the newborns down.

So, right now I'm dealing with an immature 50-year-old drunk man that has the personality of an entitled toddler. Then, the cherry on top; he tries to grab me.

So, with both the cameras and witnesses on my side, I punch him down <3 Sure, fight or flight kicked in but I didn't even get a ticket for attacking someone so that's good <3

After that my Sceptile pins him to the ground, the cops are called, etc. Etc. But the best part is I got to punch down a customer so focus on that I put years of frustrating customer service into that right hook <3 <3 <3 was that a bad example to the other? Yes. Could I have handled it better? Yes but I didn't ^w^

A bunch of Random facts about Hop and Leon in my AU Pokémon Unown: Legends Tale

They have the same birthday six years apart, November 17th.

Hop ran away from home at 15, almost 16, after three suicide attempts. Leon found him in Motostoke when he was 17.

Their family name is Callaghan, but Hop changed his last name to Walten when he ran away, after a friend (OC). Leon keeps his last name until changing it to Raihan's, Gharagozlou, when they get married.

Hop and Leon are psychic, they get it from their father. Leon didn't know until an outburst in the Unova region, when Hop's known since he was a child.

Their grandparents praised Leon for not being a psychic, as they saw psychics as subhumans. It's one of the many reasons they hated Hop.

When Leon was attacked by Eternatus in the games, Dynamax energy seeped into the wounds caused by the blast. Now, the burn scars glow and he exists as a Dynamax hotspot.

Hop has Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Almost all of his alters, including him, are nonhuman entities as he struggles with humanity due to his psychic ancestry.

Leon has 3C curly hair that he straightened for years until recently, however Hop has always had straight hair.

They're both autistic.

They are both Irish, however Leon was coached by Rose to speak in a Galarian accent. Leon slips into an Irish accent when angry, and essentially gets help from Hop to completely switch back to it.

They're both trans. Hop is gay, polyamorous, and demisexual, while Leon is bi with a heavy preference for men.

Rose chose Leon's name.

Their relationship starts extremely rocky. Leon takes him to Unova with the intention of having a brother bonding experience and recovering their relationship. Some time in Unova, they have an honest conversation and work towards getting closer.

After they become close again, Hop exclusively refers to Leon as Dad. They both start calling their parents and grandparents by their first names.

Hop has a giant tooth gap, having his teeth punched out by Bede in their off screen fight.

Leon dyed streaks of his hair black fading into blue. Some time towards the end of the fic canon, Hop dyes streaks of his hair blue to be connected to him.

Their father, Rory, left them when Hop was 7 and Leon was 13 to go to Kalos. Starting from the Kalos arc onwards, Rory becomes a reoccurring antagonist working for the main villain organization.

Despite being very young and queer himself, Leon doesn't understand jack shit about LGBT nuances. His understanding starts and ends with "gay, bi, ace, trans, genderless."

Hop's the one that has to teach him about those things, especially when Hop starts dating multiple men. (Bede, Arven, and two OCs)

Hop is physically disabled and chronically ill. He's projected to live to 25, but he actually dies at 32.

Hop and Dubwool are essentially soulmates. They have to spend every waking moment with each other. And as Hop dies first, Dubwool dies of a broken heart immediately following.

Dubwool is also 3 years older than Hop. Leon got Dubwool for Hop as a birthday gift by stealing one of the Wooloo from the herd outside their home, as baby Hop always pointed him out for being the largest Wooloo.

Hello and happy (almost) new year’s if you celebrate it the 31st/January! I’ve been super busy lately, so here’s a question- what pokemon do you think would be the most helpful to you for your life, at home or at work? A Mincinno or Swablu to help clean? Jigglypuff for a steady sleep schedule? Maybe you work with computers and could use a Porygon to help out! There's a pokemon for every job or issue, from water purification to stress relief to data analysis. What would yours be?

You already suggested it--a Jigglypuff to help me sleep! I would of course specifically ask it to sing me a lullaby, that way it would be pleased and proud when I fell asleep rather than angry.

A Wooloo might be useful too, now that I've started getting into felting with wool. And/or a Smeargle to help with dyeing the wool.
