Controversial post, and perhaps this is the arospec speaking idk, but I think the funniest thing about that "please do not start a relationship with someone irl if you would leave them should your fave character ever become real" post (aside from the mere concept of it) is that what it's suggesting is also essentially "don't start any relationship in which you might leave the person if you found someone else".... like sorry but personally I think breaking up bc you found someone better suited for you is normal and healthy actually 👍

Like yeah there IS something to be said for "I don't like people placing fictional characters above real people" as a general statement (though in this instance it's very silly), but by specifically saying "if they were real" it starts to remind me of that "divorce is a sin" shit lmao.
