A collection of poems I recently shared in a Spoken Word Collective I was selected to be apart of. Each listed title was the given topic by the collective. The very first poem pictured "Most Days I Feel" was inspired by loved ones & friends coming out throughout the years. I've always prided myself on being an open door and open heart. Even with that, I see and I've been told the fear of someone ready to share their truths. My heart literally broke, when my trans friend lead with "I need to tell you a secret. A secret which could get me killed..." I will never forget those words she shared.
