Every day I will try to paint a smile on your face and be the instigator of your laughter. I will share the wisdom and experience with which life has blessed me and I will try to enrich your life. I will listen without judging you and I will be a refuge when you need me to. I will give you all the hugs that you could ever want or need. I will also advise you if I can but always respecting the limits you impose on me and your free will. I will share with you the most beautiful things in this world, be it music, painting, literature or poetry. I will let you know every day that you are on my mind and that I wish the best for you, a perennial prayer always on my lips for you. I will make time for you even if I am busy because you are an important priority. I'll be there for the good times but also for the bad. I will be there for all your stories and joys but also for your ravings and your melancholies. I will always support your dreams and encourage you to pursue and fulfill them. I will always offer you my shoulder in case you need support, my chest as a handkerchief or my hands if you need a warm place for yours. I will be there when you need to be alone and silent, respecting your space but always waiting in case you call me because I do not want to be absent if you need me. And although I love writing you poems daily, by doing this every day, I will also be able to say, “I love you” without needing words.
