You know what hurts? Watching anime and growing to fall in love with the characters. You invest so much into watching them as they overcome so much, reaching both lows and highs. You learn their passions and driving force or what makes them weak and vulnerable. Then they help us, making us laugh, cry, and wish we could simply be with them. But that’s the problem they aren’t real. No matter how much we wish they could be with us for a mere second it won’t ever happen. How can I love someone who doesn’t exist? Who has no possibility of existing. An escapism that has no damaging affects other then this internal feeling that constantly reminds you that they will never exist no matter how much you beg. I don’t know I just wish that somewhere in some alternate universe I will be able to actually get the chance to thank them for everything:,)

Of course since he’s a human tangerine he had to incorporate it when he asked you

He made Yachi help make a poster that says “ORANGE you glad you got asked to Prom by this CUTIE?”

He would also make a gift box that’s like orange theme! Fanta, Tangerines, Cheetos, just lil cute gifts to go with the theme🧡

I can just picture him tapping you on the shoulder while youre talking to some friends and he’s just standing there with a huge smile on his face☺️ he just makes my heart melt

He 100% post a photo of you guys after getting asked and is posting it everywhere with the caption, “she said yes🥰🧡”

Tobio Kageyama

This dude only loves you, milk, and volleyball

I feel like Kags would be soo nervous and clueless, and would probably go to Hinata for advice 🥛🍊

You would be Karasunos manager and after practice Hinata and Kags ask you to help throw some balls

While you turn around to grab another ball you notice one has sharpie on it

“get SET to have a BALL at PROM - Kageyama” 🏐

When you finally realize what it says you turn back around and see him just standing there with roses and chocolate 💕

Hinata will be fangirling in the corner 🤭👀

I think Yams is secretly really romantic but like the cliché kind of romantic. He definitely has a guilty pleasure of watch trashy romcoms

Here is his plan, he’s spent all day preparing you chocolate covered strawberries

Karasuno Second Year

Nishinoya

Noya is literally a BOOM CLASH POW of love 💕💥

Somehow manages to get Tanaka, Hinata, and all the other first years to help him with his plan (it took a lot of convincing for Tsuki to say yes 🤭)

He decided that he would have the 5 boys shirtless and each spell out the word “PROM?” with bright red paint

He also would be shirtless because why not👀 and would have a guitar

*strum* I LOVE YOU Y/N *strum* NEVER GONNA STOP LOVING YOU Y/N

Would do it in front of a bunch of people, probably during lunch and catches you off guard. You probably choke on your lunch cause all you see is a bunch is shirtless boys running towards you🙊

Tanaka

Definitely asked his sister (Saeko)and Noya for help

Noya convinces him to dress up as a hotdog 🌭

Saeko helps him make a poster that says “don’t be a meanie and come to prom with this weenie” and I’m sure she made it all cute and 🥰🥰

Saeko also made Tanaka buy you flowers 👀

Will also do it in a crowded place because he wants people to know you were asked😤 probably in between classes in the hall

Okay leader of the pack is simple and sweet

My guess probably “will you be my sunshine at prom?” with sunflowers in hand obviously!

Would probably do it after one of his games. You are always there cheering him and the team on so right after his match he goes to you all sweaty and cute🥰

Koushi Sugawara

I love Tendou Satori. I have since we were awkward preteens in middle school. He’s my best friend we did everything together and even decided to go to Shiritorizawa just so that we were always by each other. I find it quite funny how all our life people found Tori creepy and scary, but once we entered high school it all changed. I was no longer the only one who saw him with loving eyes. He had his good share of girls who’d whisper about his looks but were to scared to actually go up to him. I never felt intimidated by the other girls competing for his heart...well not until now.

It’s this new girl Tori has been talking nonstop about. She’s perfect and she can possibly take the one thing I’ve ever loved right from under me. She was the first girl other then me to finally give him attention and he loved it. While I hated it . But I can’t be selfish I’m his best friend before anything else and if that means me putting my feelings aside for a girl who makes him happy who am I to stop it. I tried to ignore my feelings around him but god did it hurt, seeing him look at her like she was his entire world. I wanted that to be me so bad but I wasn’t. This was the real world after all and I can’t always get what I want all the time. So I had to start protecting myself from the person I loved the most. I just couldn’t stand hearing him talk about her it made me envy her even though she was nothing but sweet and kind. So decided I had to let him go. It was for the best in the end. Him being happy and me not having my heart broke . I’m being selfish and stupid but I just couldn’t take it.

It started with me leaving some of his messages on read.

Hey you didn’t respond to my text last night.

Huh? Oh really yeah I’ve been kind of busy sorry. Which wasn’t true I was actually free all night but how could I not upset with a message reading ‘which flowers do u think she’d like??’

Oh well I need some advice on asking them out so I was think—-

Tori I’m sorry I have to get to class early but maybe later

And off I went. Rarely did I cut people off but I didn’t want to hear one more second of him trying to win her heart with tacky flowers. Then it became cancelling things we did weekly. In my defense he started it first! We used to go hang out every Friday until one week his new girl toy insisted they go on a date one Friday and he agreed. But I never canceled until now...

I hated yelling at him but he made me so mad. Why was he insisting on prying on my date. Why couldn’t he just butt out and worry about him and his girl toy. And that’s how things went for a while, sure me and Tori were still friends but we weren’t attached by the hip like we used to be. The plan of ending things was working slowly but surely. With all the time I had without Tori it became people like Daichi who would fill the void. Sure Daichi was a great guy and all but some part of me still missed Tori. But it hurt seeing him fall in love with someone who wasn’t me, so the plan went forward.

Now this is when things took a turn on my plan of trying to break off from Tori and it was with a simple change in name.

Y/n you’re coming to my game tonight right?

Yeah your playing Karasuno right? Daichi invited me to see. He was thinking we —

Can you please stop bringing up his name he said rolling his eyes. Small bickering like this was starting to become common between especially when Daichi was mentioned.

Tendou stop it! Why can’t you just be supportive on how happy I am!? I tried to walk away until his hand went on my shoulder spinning me back to face him.

What’s wrong with you!? With US?! You never call me Tendou! You haven’t called me that since we were 10! Are you not happy with me anymore?! Wait is he crying? Do you not like me anymore? Are you scared of me? Don’t you dare leave me. You promised you’d never leave me do you not remember that? You told me that you would be by me no matter what! So why the fuck are you pulling away from me?! Tears kept rolling down his face.

No, this isn’t the plan. He started this first he left me first, he went off with some random girl and left me. That’s not fair why can he leave and I have to stay for him? When we were younger Tori always told me to stand up for myself something he should’ve done more as a child. But who what have guesses he’d be the one I’d have to go against

Fuck you Tendou. I’ve loved you ever since I made that stupid promise but then you left me for the first girl that went your way. You made that promise too! So who really broke that promise Tendou? Tell me? Who really is pulling away?

—Love is a Hard Game—

Hi! Just a lil blurb I thought of idk hehe. But I just wanted to say sorry this isn’t gender neutral, I’ll try harder to make everyone feel included in these lil writing I want to do!

Kenma studied her from a far he analyzed all the little things she did. Like when she got anxious in class she would peel her nail polish leaving them all chipped by the end of the day .But then she would come back the next day with a fresh coat on them just to repeat the cycle again. What Kenma couldn’t understand was that even with her nervous tendency of chipping nail paint no one else seemed to pick up on it. People were oblivious to it,which was odd since she always had people’s attention. Her looks captivated boys having a new love confession every week. While her kindness made every girl want to be her friend ( some also even confessed their love to her). Kenma was just like everyone else when it came to y/n and wanted nothing more then to just spend time with her.

“What would you say if I told you I maybe like y/n?” Kenma barely looked away from his game trying to distract his embarrassment which would have been more evident if his long hair didn’t cover his bright red cheeks.

“Well I’d probably tell you that she’s harder then whatever game you’re playing right now” Kuroo chuckled trying not to be excited for his friend showing romantic interest in someone for the first time.

“Kuroo I’m being serious. I’m not trying to play her like some game.”

“Yeah, I know I guess I just worded it wrong. What I’m trying to say is Y/n is like Princess Peach and you’re Mario and there’s a bunch of umm Bowsers? and umm I’m not sure where I’m going with this simile but you have to beat all the Bowsers in order to get to your princess peach?”

Kenma looked up to his taller friend, “what are the Bowsers?”

“Well honestly Kenma I’m not sure. Y/n could have any boy at this entire school and yet each time she turns them down. Maybe it’s personal insecurities or maybe she already has eyes set on someone already.”

“So then what do I do? Ya know to defeat the Bowsers.”

“You tell me Kenma you’re the gamer in this friendship”

Kenma looked back down to his game and let out a small grunt of frustration.

All he did know was that love was gonna be a hard game and you were definitely the hardest level he’ll ever have to pass. But knowing you were the prize made him even more tempted to play.
