..but sometimes it is so lonely to celebrate in silence.
“it is not malicious to keep good news to yourself. sometimes, protecting your energy involves holding on to things that are important to you because not everyone has the same intentions you have with your blessings. envy comes in many disguises.”

This??
“One last piece of advice. If you ever land on a planet and the human says “it’s just like home” you turn on the thrusters and leave it in the dust. Because, trust me kid, those places will kill ya.”

Just for us to go through all the heartache and force ourselves to call it a lesson?
“Why would the universe go through all that trouble to bring us together, to only make us strangers again in the end?”

Do you think the universe fights for souls to be together? Some things are too strange and strong to be coincidences.
Emery Allen (via sunsetquotes)
But do you also think that the universe, fate and destiny ever feel destroyed when two souls are finally done with each other? like when we fall and feel like the world is ending, do you think that we are significant? is there a possibility that there is some tiny particles that would go missing just because one story has ended? seriously, do we even matter?

Why complicate life? Missing somebody? - Call. Wanna meet up? - Invite. Wanna be understood? - Explain. Have questions? - Ask. Don’t like something? - Say it. Like something? - State it. Want something? Ask for it. Love someone? - Tell it. We just have one life. Keep it simple.

I get this but sometimes the fear that we have to say all of those things is scary.

Love is dying
In this generation, I think love is diagnosed with a disease. And it’s dying. Most people don’t look for love anymore. The fear of commitment has become something that we laugh at and sadly, it’s something that has grown stronger within us. There is no more “hey, can we go and watch the sunset and maybe grab some coffee and talk about how exhausting it is to be alive” because it is just “let’s watch Netflix and Chill” which obviously means let’s fuck and never see each other again .
In this generation, I think love is diagnosed with a disease. And it’s dying. Because writing poetry, love songs and letters are embarrassing and being emotionally unavailable while having sex with strangers are something that this generation are proud of.
In this generation, I think love is diagnosed with a disease. And love is in a coma while it can still listen to the sound of us shouting at each other, “I don’t know what I want,” “I am not ready,” “you’re too much”
In this generation, while love is dying in a coma, we have died not realizing that we’re just ghosts lying in some stranger’s bed.

This hits too close to home.
These are the late poems. Most poems are late of course: too late, like a letter sent by a sailor that arrives after he’s drowned.

So the world is shutting down again? So the nature isn't ready to be with us again? So the cities that you romanticise turns out to be dangerous? So you lose your loved ones in 2020? So 2020 isn't a great year where you expected flying cars anyway? So are we failing? So are we ready to believe in ourselves during this hard time? So are we ready to open our arms to all the possibilities even when anxieties keep knocking in at our door? Would you open the door and confront the darkness and say fuck you?

Maybe we can romanticise this awful life. Maybe for a minute or an hour, we can pause reading the bad news and just have a chocolate ice cream or just listen to calming music. Maybe we can stop and take a deep breathe and say thank you to the nature and just appreciate every moment we have. Maybe we can romanticise death—not that we have to be sad or kill ourselves but we can always visit graveyard or just remind ourselves that every minute passes by bring ourselves closer to death for death always walking beside us. We know it too well that nothing last forever and maybe that's why we're always obsessed with the idea that we're nothing. We always feel like the world shakes every time we lose someone (and that's okay because we're gifted with this weird little thing called heart) I don't know how many times we say that our heart is broken but it's not. It's still there, functioning as it always is. It's funny when you fall in love, you will tell them that they make us happy (but aren't we supposed to say they make us happier?) because we should feel happy with our own company in the first place. We hold each other's hands and hug and kiss but when things get hard, we leave (and maybe that's okay because if we feel sad more often then that's a red flag and we should continue our life separately). But really, go on and be so fucking disappointed with life and love and the world, be so angry that it's time to make a better change in life. It's time to love life by protesting for a better life;exposing the bad and respecting the good ones. And don't forget that you're the main character in your life. Change is inevitable so say fuck off when you think they deserve it and say thank you for the love and kindness and forgive people when it is time to.

Sometimes I am jealous of myself. I am jealous of the way I love. Sometimes I love too much and it's sad that it's not me that I love too much. I love too hard and it becomes hard to handle. Hard to understand. Hard to bare with. Hard to explain. Sometimes it consumes me. It's slowly taking away part of me. Sometimes I love way too much that I slowly leaving the real me. Sometimes I love too awkwardly. That I forget my name. That it makes my hand shakes. Sometimes I love too dangerously. That I forget the direction of where I'm going to. That I forget the name of the places that I love. Sometimes I love way too fucking much. That I hate my reflection in the mirror. Sometimes I love stupidly. That I don't feel like eating. Even when mom cooks my favorite food. Sometimes.....fuck. Sometimes when it comes to love, I can't think of a word. Even when I have pour hundreds of words before. Sometimes love makes me happy. So happy. That I am sure I'll be sad after that. Sometimes I love too this and too that. Sometimes I don't know when will love leave and when will it arrive.
– Sometimes love is just love.
