this is really embarrassing…

hi everyone. i can’t believe i have to do this but i’m i’m really desperate need for some help. a couple days ago i had $2400 stolen from me… yeah i know. this all happening right before my birthday and right before i’m getting ready to move out into a new place. i’m honestly super distraught right now and i’ve been on the phone crying to the bank trying to get the situation solved to no avail. if i can’t get the money back that i worked so hard to save i’m afraid i’ll end up with nowhere to live in a couple months. i know everyone’s going through tough times but if you have the means i beg you to consider donating to my ko-fi

Oh, I think we all know Terushima Yuuji and his habit of doing things in the spur of the moment. He's been like this since he was little, and usually it wouldn't have been such a big deal. That, until it went from buying one thing instead of another to bleaching his hair and getting piercings. But, to be honest, your life would have been kinda boring without his eagerness and desire to try out new things.

Lately he's been having such a big influence towards you that now you want to get piercings as well. Unlike him though, you're thinking your choices very carefully. Maybe a little bit too carefully... "[name], I told you! Stop trying a bunch shit-ton of filters, just get the damn piercing and if you don't like it, take it out!" "And I told you, Yuuji, I'm not like you. Terushima isn't an expert or anything like that, if anything, he's the exact opposite and in his mind every single type of ring, earring or stud would suit you. However, looking back at something he had always wanted, it came to his realization that you might like it as well. He notices your leg shaking rapidly as you're zoning out and the look in your eyes just shows how deep in thought you actually are. Teru doesn't always have a way with words other than his amusing chatter. He hates seeing you anxious about something yet so simple in his mind though, hence he decides to speak up: "Listen, darling, don' stress over somethin' like this. As much as you wanted to talk to him. You’re pretty awkward around others and sometimes even find yourself in situations where you can’t help but excuse yourself to the bathroom just to take a moment and breathe to ease the burden you carry around known as anxiety.

You’re a very big people pleaser, and you can’t help but kill yourself to meet others’ expectations. So the second you went home, you changed and stood in front of the mirror of your vanity and practiced some lines.

“Hello. I’m y/n. What’s your name?” No, too plain.

“Hey I’m sorry for staring too long yesterday, I’m sure I made you uncomfortable.” Too forward.

“You like milk too?” You physically cringe at that one. I sound like a stalker.

You puffed out, deciding to leave it for fate. You then spend the rest of your evening studying before dozing off in your bed, dreaming of the boy that caught your eye with a simple encounter. Tomorrow. You thought as you closed your eyes and drifted off to dreamland.

You woke up early the next day. Getting ready faster than most days. Today you felt as though you actually had a reason to look forward to going to school, other than studying. It ignited something you never expected you’d feel. You were always a proper person and you were practically oblivious to many actions from others.

It caused friends to avoid telling you anything and invite you to places. And you were fine with it, especially after moving to Karasuno. You were willing to focus on your studies, you’re a very dedicated person and you’re willing to do whatever it takes to make your parents and yourself happy.

So as you were walking to school that early, cold morning, you couldn’t help but think that it would be a mistake to talk to this boy. We wouldn’t even last as normal friends. You thought. Your heart clenched around the idea but maybe…

Maybe…

Maybe you can make an exception for him. Maybe you can be different with him. And then you two can become friends. Maybe even more in the future. At that thought, a smile tugs at the edges of your lips.

You make it to school just as the sun has fully revealed itself above the horizon. You don’t usually arrive this early but when you do, you race to the back of the school where the gym is and you just stand there and admire the view as the sun rises to show everyone its beautiful, golden rays.

And as you reach the area between the school building and the gym, you stop in your tracks as you see the familiar tall, raven haired, blue eyed boy that hasn’t left your mind ever since your eyes landed on him.

Your entrance wasn’t quiet. So he noticed you right away. His eyes landed on yours and there he goes once again. Looking at your big doe eyes, his view wandering over to your rosy cheeks, your cute button nose that he so desperately wanted to kiss, strands of your hair falling in front of your face and oh the urge to walk up to you and twirl them between his fingers before tucking them behind your ears sent dozens of butterflies flying in his stomach. He didn’t know or feel it but a small smile appeared on his face at the sight of you standing there.

It takes him a moment to realize he’s basically ogling at you before he stutters and becomes insanely flustered. He covers his face with his hands before walking away.

“WAIT!” You yell before you register what you just did. You cover your mouth and watch as he stops in his tracks and looks back at you. “I’m sorry about staring yesterday…” You say as you look to the ground, fidgeting with your fingers as a way to keep you grounded.

You don’t look up at him until he speaks, “M-me too.”

Once your eyes meet his, you notice his flustered state. His shoulders slightly slouched, his deep blue eyes wide, a sheen of sweat coating his forehead despite the chilly weather.

“You’re…Kageyama right?” His mouth forms a small ‘o’ at the recognition.

“Yeah I am.” He seems to tense up as he speaks, “And you are?”

“I’m Y/n…”

You should make the first move.

“I’d like to get to know you! If..you’d like of course- No pressure! I would hate to force you to do something you don’t wa-”

“I’d love to.”

You stand there. Noticing the doors of hope open wide, welcoming you into a foreign feeling of fluffy clouds, magical moments, and stolen firsts. Oh how alive you felt.

“R-really?” He nods, slightly blushing as his eyes shift between your own and your plump lips.

Maybe there’s a chance for more than a friendship…

you were almost halfway through your maths class. the lesson was getting more and more boring with every word your teacher said and you were trying so hard to pay attention especially since your grades were already not at their highest, but you just couldn't. not when he was sat right next to you. giving up on whatever the teacher was babbling on about, you just let your eyes slowly shift to the boy beside you. noya had already had detention for two weeks straight and he couldn't venture to fail maths, so he was trying his best to focus on the lecture. the concentrated look on his face really accentuates his features; his brown slanted eyes, his eyebrows- slightly frowning, nose wrinkled, mouth sort of pouting. he wasn't understanding anything either, instead, he could feel your gaze on him. you were daydreaming, full-on staring at him, so when he turns around and looks at you a flush creeps up on your face. "what's wrong?" the question caught you off-guard, making you blush even harder, but something in the back of your head was saying 'just let it out', therefore that's exactly what you did. "nothing, you're so beautiful" now it was his turn to go red. but, noya is noya, trying to play it cool and all, he gave you a smirk while still somehow managing to stutter "y, you think so?" "yeah" awe transformed his face, maintaining the eye-contact. he just beamed at your answer, turning back to face the rest of the class, completely lost in thought. the small dialogue the two of you just had instantly gave him an ego boost, and though this idea might have not crossed your mind, you just made his whole entire day (entire week, actually).

Akaashi is calm. Very calm. Oh no, somebody check his pulse. Still alive? Good. Ahgahshee won't go out of his way to avoid you- that's rude. He will just coincidentally memorize what he knows of your schedule and make sure it doesn't coincide with his. That much is not out of his way at all 😊 If he does come in contact with you, he's polite, quiet, neat, and kind. As he usually is. And if he gets a little too calm around you? Please check his pulse again.

Kenma doesn't breathe in your direction when he becomes aware of his feelings. Due to his well known introverted nature, it's easy for him to slip away whenever you're around or hide behind his curtain of hair. If someone asks him a question in your presence, even if you're not paying attention to him, he'll shrink in on himself and mumble an uninterested 'mmh.'

You're pretty sure Asahi will need an oxygen tank if he rambles any longer. All you asked was how his day was and now he's telling you about his great aunt's pet cat that he saw for the first time in sixteen years after visiting her over the weekend. He's practically vibrating with excitement, his voice almost booming off the walls until he catches his own echo and lowers it to speak in a whisper- only to repeat this process all over again

Hinata is your personal sunshine when he has a crush. Instead of being nervous, he works well under pressure and succeeds in showing off in front of you. He loves having your attention on him and even if he’s having the worst of days, as soon as he sees you, he’s the happiest man on the planet. He definitely asks for advice from his senpais and the execution is a little clumsy, but he’s working himself into being your dream man.

Aone is Aone. Quiet, tall and stoic. Add you, his crush, and you get the same exact thing. Only now there is a permanent blush on his cheeks. It's the only thing that gives his feelings away but it's so obvious that further proof isn't needed. Everyone teases him whenever you walk over because they know despite not moving a centimeter, Aone is about to turn into a tomato in front of their eyes.

Sakusa is a mix up between being himself and avoiding you, but since he naturally avoids people, it’s just his personality at this point. He won’t go out of his way per say, sometimes he’ll even enjoy being in your presence. You, him, and the 50 meters of distance between you both 😀 Otherwise, he’s quiet and calm. If you ask him something, he’ll take a few seconds, a deep breath, and then reply. Afterwards, he might have to excuse himself to go ask the dust bunnies in the corner if he was lame just now or not.

Lev runs over to you whenever he sees you, waving and calling your name for everyone to see. He doesn't care though, he's laser focused on you. He'll exaggerate how hard he worked and beg for any crumb of attention you can spare him. Is he doing a good job? Was he cool? He doesn't care about his senpais' opinions anymore, he wants to hear those words from you!

Terushima is that annoying crush that asks to borrow your chap-stick or for a sip of your drink when you guys aren't even dating (yet.) He's not easily rebuffed and just because you rolled your eyes and told him 'no' today, doesn't mean you'll also do that tomorrow. He's like a cockroach that can't be killed and just when you think you got rid of him for the day, he's throwing an arm over your shoulder from behind and walking you home.

Mr.Acts of Service Iwaizumi is everything you could ever need. Whether it's a ride home, ten bucks or a pep talk, he has all the bases covered. He doesn’t mind dying in the friendzone (you’re gonna fall for him anyways) but he is going to be the best man in your life whether you want it or not. He’s the most dependable and makes sure there isn’t a single problem for you to worry about. He’s your rock, your healer, your therapist, and your emotional support all in one. He won’t lose that stiff upper lip he’s got just yet (not at this stage) but the way he treats you is nothing short of gentle.

Everyone on the block knows your name with how loudly Bokuto calls it out from two zip codes away, Naruto running down the street to catch up with you. He's brave in his affections. Even if he doesn't say it, he's not shy to throw an arm around your shoulder, but he's as red as a lobster from the neck up. His eyes shine so brightly when he's with you. It's very obvious that he has a thing for you and he's a little concerned about how you feel about it, but he'll keep pushing his luck until you push him away- or hopefully, pull him closer.
