Hello! I finally finished reading "City of Ghosts" by Victoria Schwab.
Spoiler-free synopsis:
When Cass's family heads off to Edinburgh, Cass meets a girl who shares her "gift" of entering the world of the spirits. Cass still has a lot to learn about the Veil - and herself. And fast... A thrillingly spooky and action-packed tale of hauntings, history, mystery, and the bond between friends (even if that friend is a ghost...).
My review:
Now I understand all the love everyone sends Victoria Schwab. I mean, excuse me ma'am but reading this was a delight. Even thought the book is for children, I enjoyed it a lot. Cassidy and Jacob are just the greatest dynamic duo. It makes me so sad that Jacob is always out of place.
Besides, I love the setting of the book. I'd really like to visit Edinburgh someday... It was a lot of fun reading how Cass didn't understand some of the english terms for words that were very normal for her.
In a nutshell, I definitely recommend this book to everyone who is looking for a light Halloween or October reading. You won't regret it!
I give it 4.5/5 stars.

Hi! I've just finished reading "Skyward" by Brandon Sanderson. I'm really sorry for not having a proper picture of the book but I read it on an ebook so...
Anyway, here's the synopsis:
Synopsis:
Defeated, crushed, and driven almost to extinction, the remnants of the human race are trapped on a planet that is constantly attacked by mysterious alien starfighters. Spensa, a teenage girl living among them, longs to be a pilot. When she discovers the wreckage of an ancient ship, she realizes this dream might be possible—assuming she can repair the ship, navigate flight school, and (perhaps most importantly) persuade the strange machine to help her. Because this ship, uniquely, appears to have a soul.
Spoiler-free review:
I started reading this book because I had seen it everywhere on Instagram and people's reviews said it was amazing. However, the first 300 pages of the book were, at the same time, really interesting and a pain in the neck. It took me more than two weeks to finish this book so you could say I wasn't very into it.
Nonetheless, the last 150 pages got me completely hooked and the whole book made me, in general, think about different topics I had never had in mind before.
Review with spoilers:
Why did so many people have to die? I mean, c'mon, poor blue-haired guy, he was super nice. However, it was probably for the best since now Spensa can fall in love with Jorgen and we won't have to read about a love triangle (which, I think, it's better not to have it in this book).
Besides, I love M-Bot, he's definitely the best secondary character anyone could ask for. I've realized how well thought is every aspect of his personality and he made me laugh every time he spoke. He was just so sassy.
Also, I think Rodge is really underrated and he's one of the nicest characters.
In the end, even though I didn't enjoy the book as much as other people, I've come to the conclusion that the characters are amazing. That's why I've decided to rate it 3.5/5 stars.

"Good night, sweet prince,” M-Bot whispered as the junk crashed to the ground. “Or princess. Or, most likely, genderless piece of inanimate space junk."
"Skyward" by Brandon Sanderson.
I truly, deeply love M-Bot.
