Ya know whenever people make parody Valentine's Day cards for slashers they usually write Freddy's as 'Man of your dreams' (yes I know that's canon) or something similar, as opposed to my much funnier suggestion 'I want your babies'

Freddy Krueger, the man of your dreams. Color pencils on black paper. 2023.
As a child, I remember being terrified of Freddy Krueger. The trailer for 'A Nightmare On Elm Street part 5' was enough to actually give me nightmares.
I finally met the man behind the make-up; Robert Englund. I can confirm that he's a very nice person.

The Keep (1983)
This is one strange movie, directed by Michael Mann and based on a book by Paul F. Wilson.
Tumblr media
There is a monster locked in a keep (hence the name), which is subsequently released by some greedy Nazis. The monster then begins killing the Nazis... and yet! We’re supposed to view the monster as a bad guy? Nope. I’m always going to root for the one saving the Jewish family in a 1940′s era film.
It’s a great looking movie. Phenomenal soundtrack by Tangerine Dream. The effects on the monster are insane (I really think Vecna from Stranger Things was inspired by this over Freddy).
It’s usually kinda hard to find because Mann hates it - after Paramount took it and re-edited it before it’s release.
It’s such a weird story though. Weird take.

31 Nights of Halloween Horror: day 28
My choice for the 28th of October was Humanoids from the Deep (1980)
Tumblr media
I rated this classic 80′s B movie with a B grade, 5/10 lol. Also just so people know, if you’re sensitive to sexual assault stuff, maybe stay away from this one. It’s about fish things coming on land, killing men and raping/impregnating the women. Sooooooo, that should be enough warning for you lol. Anyways, average semi bad 80′s movie lol. The acting wasn’t great, the effects weren’t great, the script wasn’t great. But it wasssssss...... alright lol. Kinda fun, mostly because the creatures are gross/silly. This would have been fun to watch with a big group of friends.
