what if i made a new guardian (<- guy who's flailing around for an oc to fixate on)

#i was thinking it would be fun to make a guy who's just the young wolf #and not turn him into something that wildly diverges from canon like i did with delphi #but the problem is #a) delphi is perfect and he's right there and he's my son #and b) it's not like i could have the fun of replaying d2 anyway #sure i can replay d1 #but red war is so fun and if i replay any destiny it will just make me sad about it again i think #if i play d2 it will be to finish lightfall with delphi #i do want to see what happens #personal #in actuality i will work on christmas presents and then maybe play some low stakes single player something or other #pathfinder or dishonored or something #i wish my brain would fixate on lark that would be nice

currently taking -1hp psychic damage from hyperfixation

#okay to reblog #i fully did this to myself i just didnt realize how thoroughly i've painted myself into a corner #i started a durge playthrough of bg3 but since i had have two saves (mercury my solo + shrike who is co-op)#i decided i would use an existing oc i've written for for 13 years #seems logical - i already have his personality and a basic idea of how he'd deal with the durge's tendencies #since in his own canon he struggles in a similar way of not totally being in control of his actions #and has become a puppet to a being that wants to steal his mind to cause discord + strife #and he can easily be slotted into a warlock since in his own canon he made an 'agreement' with #well basically one of the gods of the land for protection #also part of my choice to use him in my third playthrough was pettiness for astarion also having curly white hair #because they unfortunately look similar and i have to live with that #but yknow whatever i was like this is a low commitment playthrough just to explore the durge storyline #and it's easier to use Silent here since his own existing story already has keynotes that would probably overlap #BUT THE PROBLEM IS #IM DRIVING MYSELF INSANE #i need locked in a room with a giant conspiracy board #i cant even share my thoughts because i'd have to first explain who Silent is and what his deal is in canon #and then from there I'd be able to talk about the parallels or the way some of the stuff that's happened in bg3 has already fucked him up #like what was i honestly expecting when i made this choice #i don't know how or why i Thought using one of my longest existing ocs would mean i could get through this playthrough low effort #i have cursed myself to be thinking about it x2 as often because it's both the game im obsessed with and my main mascot Silent #and the worst part is i keep violently swinging from thinking about Silent in bg3 to Silent just In General #so I simultaneously need to see and do things with him in this new setting while dying to tell everyone about him in his natural setting #i'm dying #silent speaks #yes i'm called Silent and he's also called Silent #no he's not a persona/self insert it's like a branding thing

I will admit that the eye vacuum has grown on me a bit but after slowing it down I’m just baffled by how fucking bad this looks

#saw x spoilers #rambling in tags #CGI blood is always terrible why do people still use it #This could have been done just fine—albeit with a few changes—with practicals #I get that the vacuum aspect of the trap matches him being a custodian + I know it was just a daydream but #when I first saw a picture of the trap itself I was expecting like acid or something to be poured down the tubes #That would have been way fucking cooler and also it would’ve felt more like a SAW trap #I know I shouldn’t expect much from the tenth installment of a mainstream horror franchise that’s been milked to death #but the problem is #the earlier SAW movies are fucking renowned for their practical effects #The pendulum trap still fucking blows me away in that regard. Insane how they made that work #So when SAW uses really shitty CGI like this or like the laser collars then I can be disappointed!#eh… at least the gigli saw and brain surgery trap fucking rock…#journal #saw #horror #gore

Smell of gunpowder and trouble. Deep red leather and an even deeper chuckle they love to elicit. Information trades; sometimes it's the underground, sometimes the masks slip a bit. Great banter to their flirting. The dirty dreams and giggled talk between them at 4am. What they want, but knowing how scared they get. It's a high price to pay for someone who intrinsically reckless. Martyrs or heroes, who knows if there's a difference sometimes.

The edge of something dark they'd like to see embraced.

Someone out of place. Not in with the capes, and not welcome amongst rogues. Some paths are lonely, but you don't always have to be alone.

how the fuck am i supposed to do my homework NOW D:

#okay so: my pulse and BP are consistently REMARKABLY high #like every time i get them taken #my pulse especially is ALWAYS over 100 (which if u didnt know is the max an adults heart should be at)#so i saw my doc yesterday abt it #and we decided that im gonna do a week without ritalin and THEN see whats goin on with my pulse and go from there #cuz if we go to cardiology now theyre gonna be like 'ofc ur pulse is high ur taking a stimulant every fucking day'#electrically and physiologically my heart looks fine on the EKG so thats good #but my pulse is still weirdly high (like it was 122bpm when i was sitting and 107bpm when i was laying down)#so we shall see #but the problem is #im more or less Not Functional without ritalin #so its gonna be a fun week is all im saying #whatever the fuck
