Sim Bios
Victoria is a bit of a queen bee. She was de facto leader of her friend group in high school and is used to being in charge, but that doesn’t mean much post graduation. She’s always loved cooking and trying new fancy restaurants - maybe she could make a career out of that?
Madison is Victoria’s mother. She is a hard-working dog lover in the Tech Guru career. Children never much appealed to her, and she’d rather focus on her career and living her life, but she never held that against Victoria. However, she is very eager for Victoria to get a job and move out of the house...
Shani is a shy university student who excels at her studies, but struggles with her love life. Try to break her out of her shell so she can meet a special someone!
Willow is an up-and-coming art critic living in San Myshuno that aims to topple Diego Lobo himself. Although she is ruthless when it comes to her career and ambitions, she is still a kind person and a loyal friend.
Lyn is a teacher/professor with a romantic side. She equally loves going out to the club to party and going to comic con to nerd out. People have a tendency to fall in love with her… and she doesn’t mind. She has both a casual outfit and a more formal “work” one in her everyday category.
Briana is a very athletic former cheerleader. She’s known to have a bit of a temper, which is usually activated by competition in any form. Briana wants to be the absolute best at everything and she is absolutely willing to step on toes to reach her goals.

Angel closed the door of the home he shared with Alena, sighing at the day’s events. Being entangled in Potter’s web of lies and killing Kevin, it was too fucking long of a day. All he wanted to do was relax until he had to go to the club for Templo.
He heard the laughter coming from the backyard. The sun had already set, but he knew Alena and Cruz liked hanging out at the backyard, once the sun was not as high up. But it was the male voice that threw him off.
“Cruz, maybe you should become a painter just like mama.” He knew that fucking voice.
Victor.
This was what he fucking needed.
“Daddy is a painter too, he’s awesome.”
Angel smirked at that. But he was still irritated that Victor was in his home. Of all the fucking times to have this mother fucker here, it had to be today.
Opening the door to get to the backyard, he found Cruz, Victor and Alena painting in the grass area. What a pretty sight.
“Daddy!” Cruz ran over to him. Angel picked him up, giving him a kiss. “Want to see what I made?”
“Let me shower first.” Angel placed him back down. He looked at Alena, waiting for her to greet him and she just smiled at him.
Smiled.
That’s it.
“Sunshine, can I speak to you?”
Alena frowned, and nodded her head. She excused herself and walked over to Angel. He looked down at her before going inside with Alena following behind him. They left Cruz with Victor, Angel didn’t want Cruz near them since he knew they were about to fight.
“What’s he doing here?” Angel turned, surprising Alena causing her to bump into him. He held her in place making sure she didn't fall.
“He came to drop off some pastel that he got at an art gallery for Cruz.” Alena explained, stepping away from his hold. “Apparently Coco invited him to the party later.”
“Coco? Coco invited him? For fucking what?”
“He stopped by at the scrapyard so he invited him.” Alena shrugged. “He’s just my friend Angel.”
“Friend that you kiss?” He scoffed. “I don’t want him here Alena.”
“You’re being unreasonable, we’re not doing anything.”
“I’m unreasonable?” Angel gave her an incredulous look, shaking his head. “This man doesn’t give a fuck we’re married, and you think it’s fucking okay for us to be in this position?”
“Angel, I let Victor kiss me. Why are you so focused on him?”
“Because he’s fucking enticing you.” Angel was so fucking frustrated. The fact Alena didn’t seem anything wrong with her friendship with Victor was so fucking annoying.
“You can’t just blame him, I was a willing participant.”
Angel groaned. “You’re so fucking irritating. I told you I have feelings for you and you rub this motherfucker in my face.”
“I’m not rubbing anything.” Alena glared at Angel, annoyed at having such a pointless argument. “He’s just my friend, that’s it. The guys liked him and invited him. I think if you give him a chance you would too.”
“Fuck no Alena, he’s trying to take you from me, so fuck that.” Angel wanted to laugh at the situation he was involved in. This was the last thing he fucking needed today. All he wanted to do was be with Alena and Cruz, now, all he wanted to do was get the fuck away from here. “I’m going to shower.”
Alena watched as Angel disappeared into their room, sighing.
Tonight was going to be a long night.
===========
“I could get used to this.” Victor took a sip of his beer, sitting next to Alena, across from Coco and Gilly.
“Hanging out with a bunch of misfits? Your prim and proper background is cool with that?” Coco teased.
Victor shrugged. “Being prim and proper is quite boring. You guys are pretty cool and I get to hang out with this pretty lady right here.”
Alena blushed, laughing at Victor’s compliment. She looked up and found Angel sitting with Creeper and Hank. He was smoking his cigarette, legs wide open as he just stared at her. She knew he wasn’t happy, especially since she came to the clubhouse with Victor. They weren’t going to go, but Coco insisted they went.
Was Coco playing devil’s advocate, perhaps, but someone had to fucking push Angel.
“Angel is gonna end up fighting this guy.” Gilly warned Coco, his voice low so that Alena and Victor couldn’t hear him.
“Maybe that’s what he needs to wake the fuck up.”
Alena watched as one of the club hangarounds sat on Angel’s lap. He smirked at Alena before the woman covered her from Alena’s view. Alena’s heart dropped, looking over at Victor. He saw what she saw and sighed. She always knew that there was something going on with Angel and other women, but seeing it first hand was something different.
“You wanna go?”
“Yes, please.” Alena stood up, taking her purse. “Let me go use the bathroom then we can go.”
Coco saw the crestfallen look on Alena’s face and looked back. He shook his head, watching as Angel flirted with the woman on his lap.
“This dumbass motherfucker.” Coco shook his head.
Gilly and Coco watched Alena go inside the clubhouse. When they turned to Victor, he was making his way towards Bishop, who just sat down beside Angel.
“Looks like you are about to win a 20.” Gilly commented.
“Mr. Losa, thank you for inviting me again.” Victor shook his hand.
“Any friend of Alena is a friend of the club.” Bishop smirked. “Alena going with you?”
“Yes, she’s not feeling well.”
“What’s wrong?” Angel stood up then.
“Shouldn’t matter to you, that woman not giving your ego enough attention?”
Bishop, Hank and Creeper all shared a look. This was not going to end well.
“What the fuck did you just say to me?” Angel had enough of this motherfucker. He had him fucked up.
“You heard me, don’t pretend you give a fuck about Alena when you know exactly what you do to her. You let that woman sit on your lap, knowing Alena could fucking see you. After all the sacrifices she made for you and your son, the best you can do for her is toy with her feelings to assure she stays by your side?” Victor scoffed. “What a real man you are.”
Bishop, Hank and Creeper’s eyes went wide at Victor’s words. Someone had to finally tell him what was going on. They saw Alena approaching, she could immediately tell that his body was tense and seeing the look on Victor's face, she knew nothing good would come out of this.
“Angel, please, don’t start.” She wrapped her arms around him from behind. She knew Angel could still make his way over to Victor with her hanging on him, but she didn’t care.
“Alena, let go of me.”
“No, it’s okay, just go have fun with that girl.” Angel turned to her then and she had that irritating smile again, the one that she gave him whenever she tried to smile through whatever shit that was said or done. “It’s fine, um, she has to finish sewing your patch on.” She touched the patch that was slightly hanging off his kutte.
“Cielo,” he closed his eyes. He tried to take her hand in his, but she moved away, walking over to Victor.
Angel was wounded.
“It was nice to see you guys, I’ll see you.” Alena quickly said her goodbyes. She whispered something to Victor before he said his goodbyes and led her to his car. She looked at Angel one last time and smiled again, before sliding inside Victor’s car.
For once in his life, Angel felt like he was losing Alena. He watched as Victor’s car drove off.
Looking at Coco, his brother shook his head. “I never thought I would see the day, but it seems like you’re not the only one who has her attention.”
Angel turned his motorcycle off, letting out a breath. He waited for an hour before coming home to blow off some steam. He didn’t see Victor’s car so he figured he dropped Alena off and left. Taking off his helmet, he made his way to the front door and frowned at the darkness inside. Alena usually left a light on for him, just so it wasn’t too dark for him. It was more for her than him and whatever made her feel at ease he was fine with.
Opening the front door, he had this feeling of dread. Taking his phone out, he saw a message from Alena.
She just sent it.
‘Wifey ♾👑💍’‘
Hey, I went to San Diego and I brought Cruz. I think it’s best for us to try this trade off thing. I can take care of Cruz from Sunday to Thursday and drop him off at your place Thursday morning or Wednesday night, whichever you prefer. It’s Tuesday, I’ll drop him off Thursday morning. Have a good rest of your night. Congratulations again on getting the secretary patch. :)
Angel’s heart dropped, rereading her message. What did she mean trade off’s? They were doing this whole drop off bullshit? Absolutely not.
Angel walked right back out of their home, locking the door. He rushed towards San Diego, parking at Alena’s second parking spot in the underground parking lot of her apartment complex. He was so anxious that he took the stairs to the fourth floor where she was. When he got to her floor, he rushed towards her door and he felt like the wind was knocked out of him. Right in front of him was Alena and Victor talking right outside of her door. She pulled away, eyes widening when her eyes landed on him.
Victor turned around and pursed his lips. He kissed her cheek, whispered something in her ear and pulled away. Making his way down the hall, he nodded his head at Angel, the smirk on his face was something Angel wanted to knock out of him, but he kept his composure. His mind couldn’t let go of Alena’s statement.
“Hey,” she greeted him when he was in front of her.
“We need to talk.”
“Cruz is sleeping.” Lame excuse, but she didn’t expect Angel to come and see her.
“He’s not part of our conversation.”
Alena led him inside, closing the door behind him. They sat down on the couch, sitting on opposite ends.
“Alena, that girl at the club sh-“
Alena cut him off. “No, you’re fine, you don’t have to explain anything to me.” She shook her head, waving him off. “We always knew what this was and I’m sorry I reacted the way I did.”
“I was trying to make you jealous and I’m an idiot.”
“You’re not an idiot, it’s okay.” Alena let out a small laugh, her hands on her lap, smoothing out her skirt. “It’s almost one in the morning Angel, we could have talked tomorrow.”
“No, I didn’t want to wait.” Angel studied her and she wouldn’t look at him. She had her hands folded on her lap, and she was just looking at anywhere but him. She was retreating into her shell, something she did when trying to avoid a conversation she didn’t want to be a part of.
Tough shit.
She couldn’t drop a bombshell like that on a text message and expect for him to be okay with everything.
“I don’t want to do trade-offs.” He addressed the elephant in the room.
“This would be a nice practice once we get divorced Angel. We can’t stay like this forever.” Alena reasoned, for once looking up at Angel and meeting his intense stare. She’s never seen him look so displeased with her.
“Do you ever think about Cruz? Don’t you think it would confuse Cruz if we do that? Why change something that’s working?” Angel knew it technically wasn’t working.
“But it’s not working for me!” Angel was surprised when Alena yelled out. He’s rarely heard her scream, but it was never towards him. Angel’s statement angered her. She always thought about Cruz, it was the reason she was still in this, regardless of how many times her heart broke. “I want a family. I want to experience life too. You and Cruz have been my life for years, and nothing is going to change that, but please Angel, I deserve to be loved, to have a marriage that’s not out of convenience.”
Angel looked like he was just struck. He frowned, not expecting Alena’s outburst. You can only push someone for so long. “I, Alena, I love you. We have a family. You want more kids? We can have that. Just,” for once, he didn’t know how to charm Alena. “Don’t do this Alena, please, I need you.”
“If you love me, respect me, give me what I want and just let me put this space between us.”
“You know I respect you and I love you, I can’t lose you.” Angel tried to move closer to her, but she shook her head.
“Doing this would push me away Angel.”
He didn’t know what to do. Letting her go was never an option he thought he would be given or force to have, but it was here looking at him straight in the eyes.
“Cielo, please don’t make me do this. Don’t separate us. If you don’t want to sleep on the same bed, that’s fine, but please don’t put such a great distance between us.”
Alena shook her head. “I’ll stay here from now on and we can work on something. This isn’t about Victor, the girl, or anything. This is about you and me. We’re facing that reality soon and it would be better to ease Cruz into it. I work in San Diego so it shouldn’t be a difficult adjustment.”
“What about the weekends? He’s used to all of us being together.” Angel felt himself losing, drowning, and he couldn’t stay afloat no matter how hard he tried. “Alena, come on, I didn’t do anything with that girl.”
“I’m going to bed, you know where the pillows and blankets are.” She stood up and forced herself to look at Angel to offer him a smile. “We always knew it would come to this. It’s better to start early than keep pushing this act that was eventually going to fade.”
Alena walked away and into her room, closing the door behind her. The tears she held back fell then and she felt like an idiot. She kissed Victor, something that made the butterflies in her stomach run wild, but the guilt ate her up too. When she saw that woman on Angel’s lap, the way he smirked at her, it was almost a taunt. And all she could do as always was withdraw herself, and be that girl again. The one who knew Angel Reyes would never want such a weak woman. The one who knew Angel would never settle for her. The one who knew that no matter how much she gave, just like her father, everyone would leave her. She shouldn’t have high expectations and she didn’t. She was thankful at the blessings that Angel has bestowed in her life, she would forever be thankful for him.
But things were coming to a close.
Alena wanted to protect her heart as much as possible, though she knew she would have done it sooner.
Looking at her bed, Cruz was sound asleep holding his bunny. She quickly changed and joined Cruz in bed.
Their dynamics were finally changing, something everyone was not eager to see.
Everyone knew this would have a great effect on Angel more than Cruz.
After all, Alena was taking away one of the most important things that has kept him sane throughout this whole ordeal.
Her presence.
Angel walked into their room, leaving Alena’s after their discussion. He couldn’t stay there, it was too much for him. Victor’s words about her sacrifices, Alena’s words and this shit with his family, everything was falling apart.
Going inside their shared closet, he looked at Alena’s clothing, feeling like a completely pathetic douchebag at how emotional it made him feel to look at clothing. He looked through her clothes, her side was always so organized and his was slightly messy due to him changing quickly to get to places. He tidied up his side of the closet, trying to distract himself.
Alena’s side was tidy, but maybe he could rearrange things for her.
He couldn’t believe how much of an idiot he was. He should have known that action would hurt Alena. She already believe he slept with every fucking person that hangs around the club, he was certain this didn’t help his cause.
“You’re such a fucking idiot.” Angel took a box out that was on the shelf that separated Alena’s dresses and jeans. It was unmarked, and the box was too nice to not hold anything. Maybe it was pictures for the scrapbook Alena was trying to make.
Sitting on the floor, he opened the box, ready to go through the pictures of him, Alena and Cruz. But instead, what he saw was a shock.
Inside the box were not pictures. It was a brochure for a school in Paris, France. A plane ticket for Paris, Alena’s name on the ticket along with a portfolio that had Alena’s artwork. He dumped the contents of the box, going through every letter and content of the box.
Alena was going to Paris. She lied to him. She told him that she didn’t get in, that she was going to stay out in Santo Padre. But from what he could see, Alena was going to leave, but he remembered asking her when Valeria brought it up, she said she wasn’t going.
===========
Alena let out a yawn, placing her head on Angel’s shoulder. They were watching the season finale of some show Angel was an avid fan of and she just came cause Angel wouldn’t let her say no.
And he bribed her with his father’s carne asada.
“Let’s go to bed.” Angel turned the television off, standing up and causing Alena to fall on the couch.
“Okay, I’ll make breakfast in the morning.” Alena grabbed the throw blanket she had given Angel, getting comfortable on the couch.
“The fuck you doing?” Angel chuckled. “You’re not sleeping on the couch.”
“You’re dating someone Angel, I don’t think she would like it if we slept on the same bed.” Alena let out another yawn, taking off her glasses and placing it on the coffee table.
“Cielo, I don’t give a fuck about Valeria. Come on.” Angel always thought it was so cute how Alena gave a fuck about Valeria, she could kiss his ass. Their relationship was solely based on Alena and Dante’s relationship and right now, they were no longer together. His relationship with Valeria was almost over. He was going to go for who he truly wanted and that was Alena.
Just as Angel was about to join Alena on the couch, there was banging on his door. Angel’s eyebrows furrowed since Coco and Gilly knew not to disturb his time with Alena. Opening the door, Valeria pushed past Angel and walked over to Alena who had gotten up due to the knocking. As soon as she reached Alena, she slapped her, knocking Alena’s glasses to the floor.
“I told you to stay the fuck away from Angel, did I not?” Valeria was immediately pulled away by Angel who was absolutely livid.
Alena kneeled down to find her glasses and Angel just glared at Valeria.
“I’m gonna need you to get the fuck out of my house.” Angel told her, trying his best to keep his cool since he didn’t want to lose it in front of Alena.
“Fuck you, I’m your girlfriend not that bitch!” Valeria shook her head, not surprised that Angel sides with his precious Alena. “Did she tell you she was leaving for Paris? Been planning it for years! Did your precious cielo tell you that?”
Angel looked at Alena who just put on her glasses, shaking as she did. He knew that Valeria hated Alena, which was the cause of many of their fights, but he didn’t give a fuck what this placeholder has to say.
“We’re done.” Angel opened his door.
“Fuck you and your bitch.”
Angel slightly blocked his doorway and leaned down so only Valeria could hear the words coming out from his mouth. “Next time you harm her in any fucking way, you’re gonna wish you never touched her.” Valeria swallowed hard, leaving Angel’s apartment. She knew Angel would never harm a woman, but for Alena, he would.
“I’m gonna go.” Alena grabbed her phone and keys.
“Alena, don’t leave.” Angel frowned, standing in front of the door. “Cielo, let me see your face.” Her hair was covering her cheek, and she kept her distance from Angel.
“No, it’s okay.” She shook her head. She should have stayed away from Angel, but she couldn’t even if she tried. It just hurt since Valeria hit her at the same spot Dante hit her not a mere two weeks ago.
“She hit you at the same spot, go sit down and I’ll put some ice on it.” Angel wasn’t moving, he wasn’t going to let her go home. Valeria was psychotic and may be waiting for her there.
“Angel, please, I just really want to go home.”
“Come on Cielo, I don’t want to argue, please sit down.”
Alena looked up at him and his heart clenched seeing the tears in her eyes. He was going to fucking kill Valeria.
“Hey baby, don’t cry.” Angel closed the distance between them, softly cupping her cheeks. “Go to bed and I’ll get you some ice.”
Alena nodded her head, not wanting to argue with Angel. Making her way to his bed, Alena placed her things down at the bedside table she had gotten him a few years ago. Slipping under the covers, Angel came back with a pack of frozen vegetables. He slid in beside her, turning her body so she could face him. He placed the frozen pack on her cheek, frowning.
“She told you to stay away from me?”
“Yeah, I get it though. She said that I ran to you all the time and that you two couldn’t flourish if I keep getting in the way.” She gave him that small smile he was accustomed to, the one she gave people even when whatever was said to her hurt her. It made Angel angry from time to time how she just let people do that to her, but she was all about killing them with kindness.
But she didn’t need to worry, she had him.
“Are you really leaving?” Angel’s chest tightened hearing that from Valeria. Alena couldn’t possibly leave him.
But she was, she had a plan to do so, he just didn’t need to know.
“No, I could never leave you.”
A small lie never hurt anyone
===========
Angel chuckled bitterly, shaking his head. He couldn’t be angry at her, she didn’t leave. But it further infuriated him.
How many more times was he going to ask Alena to make a sacrifice for him?
Hell, he would have never let her make this type of sacrifice for him.
She deserved better.
But he couldn’t let her go.
He would do better for her.
He’ll give her the space she wanted and they could go from there.
===========
Bryan sat across from Angel, giving the waiter his order.
“This is unexpected.” Bryan commented as he placed his cell phone down.
“Yeah, I needed some clarification and I figured no better person to ask than you.” Angel was still not happy regarding the box he found at Alena’s side of the closet. He rarely went through her stuff, but after their falling out, he wanted to tidy up the closet for her. And when he did, he found that box.
“What’s going on?” Bryan took a sip from his water.
Angel placed the plane ticket on the table sliding it over to Bryan. His eyes landed on it and was unsure of what the problem was, from what he understood, Alena told Angel. Bryan closed his eyes then, letting out a chuckle at his stupidity for even thinking Alena would tell the person who had the power to make her stay that she was leaving.
“She never told you.” Bryan sighed. “Where’d you find this?”
“Alena has a box that she didn’t label and it had her portfolio and everything for the school in Paris that was connected to that museum.” Angel was angry, not at Alena, at least not mostly, he was angry at himself for being so selfish. For not realizing how much she sacrificed. He remembered how angry Alena’s mother was at her, how angry Bryan was at her. They didn’t talk for a few months until they came to meet Cruz.
“The Louvre.” That whole fiasco was a sensitive subject for all parties. Though him and his mother have moved pass the whole situation, every now and then his mother would bring it up and it would just upset Alena. They wouldn’t want her to trade it for the world, they loved Cruz and they could never fault Alena’s good heart. “Angel, there’s no point in bringing that up. She didn’t leave.”
“The point was she was and she had no plans on telling me.”
“How do you know that?”
“Cause I asked her.”
“My sister knew that if she told you, you would ask her to stay and you know her, she has no powers over you.” Bryan thanked the waitress who placed his food on the table. “Come on Angel, you had my sister wrapped around your fingers since she was sixteen years old. She can recognize that you’re not a saint, but that doesn’t matter to her since her world revolves around you.”
Angel couldn’t argue with that. She’s had him wrapped around her fingers since she was eleven years old.
“I’m not upset at your sister, I just thought she would have told me. She was planning it for years.” Angel thanked the waitress when she placed his plate on the table.
“She was planning it for years because she kept backing out.” Bryan sprinkled tabasco all over his dish. “This is supposed to be spicy?” He scoffed, taking another bite.
“Not everyone burned their tongue with spices when they were young such as yourself.” Angel shook his head amused by Bryan’s ridiculous spice tolerance. “I want to make it real with your sister.”
Alena and Angel have been civil with one another, but she’s kept her word. She stayed in San Diego and came to Santo Padre when she dropped off Cruz or shit at Vicky’s or the clubhouse. It was painful, difficult for Angel and this only started two weeks ago.
But he had to give her the space she wanted, he was going to fight for her.
“Has it not been?” Bryan scoffed. “I don’t know why you two continue to play this game with one another, we all know you’re as devoted to my sister as she is to you, though you may be a little bit more devoted.” Bryan always teased Angel. He knew what their relationship was, yet, Angel never stepped out on his sister, which he was thankful for. He wasn’t certain why Alena had it in her head that Angel always stepped out on her when it was nowhere near the truth. “Alena gave up plenty for you and my mom and I always resented you for that. But we would never fault you, Alena’s a big girl, she made her own choices. We swallowed our opinions since we could see that you cared for her, maybe you weren’t ready to face facts, but we knew you did.”
“Why’d you let it go on for this long? I hurt your sister.” Angel hated admitting how much he hurt Alena, but he truly did and he would spend a lifetime making it up to her.
Bryan shrugged. “Alena loves you Angel. No matter how many times we discuss it, how many times we dissuade her, she’ll come running to you.” Bryan took another bite of his food. “I hated you for a long time because my innocent baby sister was enamored by you, I was convinced you fucking did some voo doo magic on her.” Bryan remembered how much he disliked Angel. Whenever Angel came to pick up Alena, he would watch him like a hawk, but Angel was never intimidated by him. They were the same height, almost the same built, but Angel was focused on Alena. He was even certain Angel didn’t notice he disliked him so greatly. “Then I realized that in your own fucked up ways, you were in love with Alena too. I knew you wanted to confess to her before Dante’s unfortunate arrival, but every time it was going to happen for you two, something came in the way.” He recalled how Angel pulled him aside, informing him of his intentions on asking Alena out, that this was it. “I honestly thought after Cruz, my sister would walk away, go to Paris as she intended to do so. But then you married her.”
Angel knew the circumstances were always so terrible for them, but he was in love with her and he was happy Bryan could see it. He wasted time and he knew he did. But he would give her time to take time for herself. He didn’t want to pressure her, when she was ready to talk they would talk then.
“I want to give Alena the world. But she isn’t exactly talking to me right now.”
“My mom told me.” Bryan wiped his mouth with the napkin on his lap. “It’s Alena, she’ll eventually come around and run to you.” He smirked, he knew his next sentence would rile Angel up. “Oh, but that’s right, Victor has finally decided to make a move.”
“The fuck, you know that clown?”
“I do, Alena introduced us years ago, even then you could tell he was into my sister.”
“Thanks for the heads up.” Angel scoffed.
“Angel, I don’t fucking understand your relationship with my sister any better than anyone in this unconventional family we have. I always thought you knew about him.” Bryan shrugged.
“Should I be worried about that asshole?” Angel wondered.
Bryan sighed. “Alena has been in love with you for years. She’s had her moments where she’s decided that she would keep you at arm's length. Remember when she had a miscarriage?”
Angel did and it was one of the worst times in his life.
It happened a year ago. He and Alena usually used protection, but a year ago, they decided to forego it since she went on birth control. Then she got pregnant and it was difficult to see how hard she was on herself.
===========
Alena sat on her side of the bed, wiping her tears as she read the discharge papers she was given.
How could she have not known?
She was too early, this much was true, but this was just difficult to accept.
Her inhaler was right beside her just in case she became worked up by this whole situation.
Miscarriage.
She miscarried her and Angel’s child.
“Cielo, I’m home.” She heard Angel call out.
She debated whether or not she should tell him. If she didn’t let him know, there would be no disappointment. The door opened and Angel immediately frowned seeing the distress Alena was in. Cruz was peacefully sleeping on the bed, his back touching Alena’s leg since Cruz always had to be in some type of contact with Alena when he falls asleep near her.
“Cielo, what’s wrong?” Angel rushed to her side, kneeling in front of her.
Alena handed him the paperwork she was given and Angel skimmed through, frowning at the diagnosis.
“Baby,” he sighed. He stood up, pulling her up so she was kneeling on the bed. He wrapped his arms around her, Alena crying into his chest. She was doing so well holding in the sobs that wanted to wracked through her body. “It’s okay.” He tried to comfort her as best as he could. This wasn’t on anyone, it’s not like they knew and even if they did, they can always try for another.
“I’m sorry Angel, if I knew, I would have been careful.” Alena was holding on to his shirt under his kutte. It broke him hearing her in this way. “They said it happens, but I didn’t even know.”
“Alena, stop being so hard on yourself. It’s okay.” Angel’s heart broke. He was sad about the possible baby, something he always wanted with Alena, but they could always have another child. “I love you mi Cielo.”
Alena didn’t reply and just hugged Angel. Having his arms wrapped around him definitely made her feel better. But she just realized that whatever this was with Angel, them being intimate and enjoying one another, it had to stop.
She couldn’t put herself out there to just be put down like this.
After the miscarriage, Alena distanced herself from Angel, requesting they wouldn’t be intimate, which he didn’t care. But he didn’t leave her alone. He did everything for her as best he could. Because he knew Alena blamed herself for losing their baby. And it wasn’t her fault.
Shit unfortunately happens, but his Alena was a saint and took everything on her own.
Angel walked in the room he shared with Alena and found her laying on her side, turning away from him. He sighed since that’s what he always walked into, Alena’s back turned to him and as much as he wanted to hold her, she wouldn’t let him. Again, it was fine, but he wanted to help her and she wouldn’t let him. She was drowning in this self loathe and he just felt powerless.
“Hey Cielo, did you eat?” She hasn’t been eating well and usually only did so while Cruz was eating. She would nibble on a few things and that was it. Cruz was at his father’s since he wanted to give Alena a break so he was almost certain she didn’t eat.
“Yes.” Alena continued to scroll through her phone, not wanting to face Angel. How could she face Angel? She lost their child. He kept telling her it wasn’t her fault, but it was hard to think that.
“Alena, come on, can you at least face me when you talk to me?” He missed her. She would crack a smile every now and then but it was momentary. Then she would just go back to whatever she was doing. The only time she had a genuine smile on her face was when she was with Cruz.
Alena sat up and turned to face him. “Everything okay?”
“No, it isn’t, you won’t fucking talk to me. I get it, you’re upset, you blame yourself, but Alena, it’s not your fault. And I’ll keep saying it till it registers.”
“How can you even say that? I lost our baby and you’re okay with that?” Alena narrowed her eyes at him. “You don’t have to spare my feelings, if you’re upset just come out with it.”
“I am fucking upset because you won’t fucking talk to me! Whenever I try to comfort you, you retract like you’re fucking repulsed by me.” Angel snapped. “Alena, I’m sorry we lost the baby, but that doesn’t change what you are to me, to Cruz or to anyone. We can always try for another if you want, but don’t close me off, please.” His last word was a plea and Alena frowned at his words.
She didn’t realize she was closing him off or at least in the way he was describing. Alena just thought that Angel hated her, that he was just masking however he truly felt. She knew Angel wanted a baby, she’s overheard him tell the guys. Her mind was cruel and it did not provide any mercy towards her feelings.
Angel hated her. Angel didn’t want her. Angel was just being nice. Angel hated her.
These thoughts persisted in her mind and as hard as she tried to push them away, it wouldn’t go away.
“It’s okay if you hate me.” Alena’s small voice broke Angel’s heart.
Hate her?
He could never hate her.
Alena looked up at him, tears brimming her eyes. “I’m useless and not special just like what they all say. I can’t even carry a baby.”
Angel rushed over to her then, wrapping his arms around Alena. She tried to push him away, not wanting his comfort even though deep down she did. She just didn’t think she deserved it.
“Stop fighting me Alena, please.” Angel buried his face at the crook of her neck. “Don’t you ever listen to these idiots. You’re the best person I know, I would die without you. Accidents happen Alena, but this isn’t on you. Please. You’re killing me. You won’t eat, you won’t talk to me. Don’t close me off.”
Angel held her tightly. It was the first time in four months that Alena has let him hold her. He felt like a sap, but he missed having her in his arms. He missed it when she would bury her face on his chest whenever her alarm went off to go to work. He missed it when she would be draped over him because Alena was a mover when she was asleep. She always managed to be entangled with him. But these last few months, she hardly slept and somehow she was able to function. It worried him greatly, and she refused to tell her mother. But Angel got her brother to come and for a moment he thought it would turn around.
It didn’t.
But he was going to heal her, he was going to help her.
Just like how she always did for him.
When Angel felt Alena’s arms wrapped around him, he felt a sigh of relief rushed through his body.
“I’m sorry Angel.”
“Don’t apologize, you did nothing wrong.” He pulled away but made sure Alena’s arms remained around him. He cupped her face, softly caressing her cheek with his thumb. “I’ll always be here for you Alena. We’re a team. Don’t close me off again, let me be here for you.”
“Okay.” She nodded her head. Angel wiped away her tears. “This is a weird request, can you kiss me?”
Angel chuckled. Alena never had to ask, the only reason he hasn’t kissed her was because she made him feel like she didn’t want him anymore after the miscarriage.
“Of course Cielo.”
Angel bent down and kissed her. Feeling Alena’s body relax as soon as their lips met. He missed the warmth of her lips against his. She wrapped her arms around his neck, loving the feel of his lips against hers. She loved feeling his scruff against her skin.
She knew it was still a battle, but at least now she finally let Angel be in her corner.
===========
“That period was hard.” Angel sighed, losing his appetite. Alena avoided him for almost four months. The worst part, she was actually around when she was doing it. This time, she put great distance between them and he knew he wasn’t going to last four months. There was no way. “So, should I be worried?” He’s never been uncertain with Alena before. It was always pretty straightforward in some sense. But this time around, there was someone around he felt that was influencing Alena and that he didn’t know how to deal with.
“You’ve never been worried before, why worry now?” Bryan was always intrigued by their relationship. Angel kept Alena at arms length, but as soon as the atmosphere changed and Alena was going to move forward, he changed and held her close. He did this for a few years and for the last two years, Angel was still hot and cold, but he made sure to never keep too much distance between them. He held her close, but not too close. Quite frankly, he was tired of it, so maybe he would play devil’s advocate, his sister deserved better than this.
“There wasn’t another person. Also the same person she hid for years. It’s like she was protecting their relationship.” Angel was picking at his food. He was a fucking bottomless pit and this woman had him picking at his fucking food.
“She wasn’t protecting their relationship, she just picked certain words to avoid you worrying. I mean, what guy our age would babysit a kid for a woman he lived next to?” Yep, devil’s advocate. “Like I said, he’s always liked my sister and she anticipates to divorce you within a year since that was your deal. Unless, things truly have changed?”
“What?”
“Don’t be obtuse Angel, you do this shit all the time. Something or someone could threaten your position in my sister’s life, you become this clingy husband that would not let her out of your sight. I don’t doubt your love for my sister, but how do I know you just don’t love her because you need her to keep your life in order? How do I know that you’re not playing the part to get laid? My sister is an adult, but so are you. If you truly care about her don’t play with her feelings and just divorce her. She’ll still be there for Cruz.” Bryan took some of Angel’s food and he gave him an incredulous look. “What? You’re not eating.”
“First of all, I should beat your head in for even saying shit like that to me. Playing with her feelings? I’ve protected your sister since she was twelve fucking years old. You think I’m fucking with her? I’ve been in love with your sister since we were kids. A love that grown into this unconditional and uncontrollable feelings that I can’t even fucking pinpoint.” Angel was furious Bryan would assume that he was playing with his wife, his love, his life, his soul. He could see why it would appear that way, but he was all in. He didn’t need to prove it to Bryan. Maybe to Alena, no, to Alena he would, cause if her brother thought this way, god knows what she was thinking. “Second of all, fuck you. I was there for your sister when you turned your back on her after your father kicked her out of your home.”
Bryan pursed his lips then, not expecting for Angel to bring that up. He wasn’t angry at Angel, but he still never forgave himself for turning his back on Alena when she needed him most.
“I won’t apologize for giving you my opinion Angel, that’s how I feel. If you always felt this strongly, why haven’t you told Alena?” Bryan looked outside the window, resting his arm on the table, his hand in opening and closing, trying to remain calm. “I’ve never forgiven myself for turning my back on her, thank you for always being there for my sister.”
“I’m not going to apologize for bringing it up, don’t try to act mighty on me. We’re not trying to count our sins, but don’t act innocent either.” Angel leaned back on his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. “Every time I wanted to tell Alena how I felt, something always came up, the last one being Cruz. I thought that after we married, even though I created this farce we could divorce in five years time, things would just fall into place and I didn’t have to worry about it. I haven’t slept or looked at anyone since Alena slipped my ring on her finger. And I have no plans of doing so. I don’t deserve your sister, I hear it all the time, but I’ll spend my whole life trying to at least be the man she deserves to have.”
Bryan nodded his head. “Good, glad you can finally see that.”
“Wait what?” Angel was confused, sitting up straight at Bryan’s words.
“Come on Angel, I’ve watched this dance you’ve had with my sister for far too long. It seems you’ve truly gotten your head out of your ass. If I knew it would be Victor that knocked some sense into you, I would have dropped the bombshell long ago.”
“It wasn’t Victor. It was your mom.”
Bryan cackled. “Of course it was. So what’s the game plan? I heard my sister is quite determined to not speak to you.”
“I’m going to give her time, I hurt your sister this last time and I just want to give her time.”
“How much time? Victor may sink his claws in her.”
“However long she needs.”
The ball was in Alena’s court. He didn’t want to push her. He could wait, just as she’s awaited for him.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gif Credit: mine
Just something cute I thought of for our Angel Baby. Wanted to shout out @summertimesadnesswithadashofsass for this idea, I was so stuck on how i wanted reader and Angel to meet, and she threw this out there.
hope you like it! <3
________________________
Walking into a local art gallery was not how you envisioned spending your thursday night. It was Thirsty Thursday at the bar, but your best friend had some work that was going to be featured in this exhibit and she begged you to come along, for support. She had been your best friend for 12 years, and after your mom passed, she had been there through your darkest days and even let you move in with her, how could you not? You asked your boss if it was alright that you asked someone to cover the last few hours of your shift so that you could make it out on time.
“Y/N! Holy shit, they actually let you go early?! Im so happy you’re here!” Daisy brought you in for a tight hug, “come on, my stuff’s over here.” She led the way to her exhibit and you took in her work. You didn’t know a thing about art but you knew how incredibly talented she was. You listened intently as she told you about her work when you felt someone staring at you and looked across the room. He was leaned back against the wall, wearing a red flannel and dark jeans, his tatted arms calmly crossed in front of him, showcasing his ringed fingers.
“Helllooooo,” Daisy tapped your arm.
“huh? sorry..” you reply, looking back over your shoulder, the tattooed man was gone.
“You okay? I was just asking what you think about this piece?” she asked, an excited gleam in her eye.
“oh! I love it. Hey, do you mind if I take a look around? I’ll meet you back here in 30.” you turn around and slowly make your way through the gallery, pretending to be interested in all of the pieces in front of you, but really hoping you would have a run in with the man from just a few minutes before. You were rounding the corner when you came across a piece you actually really liked. You stopped to examine the detail in the painting.
You felt another presence but didn’t bother looking at who it was. “I love this... I wonder if the artist would be willing to part with it.”
“Yeah good luck, heard the artist is a real asshole.” You look up at the man next to you, his voice like silk as he talked. You swallowed hard when you had realized it was the man from earlier.
You let out a laugh, “Yeah most artists are..”
Your laugh was like a melody, it was soft, genuine, care-free. His gaze never left yours as you studied the piece in front of you, almost as if he was memorizing every blemish, every mark, every line of your face. The way your eyebrows furrowed when you were reading about the artist on the note next to the painting, as if you were trying to understand what it was you were looking at.
“I’m Angel.” you turn your head back to face him, and studied his features. His dark eyes, his beard, the lines on his face. He’s been through some shit. You smile, “Angel. Im Y/N.”
he repeated your name to himself over and over in his head. your name fit you perfectly.
__________________________________________
he led you through the gallery and you stopped at almost every exhibit. “alright, alright, what about this one? what do you see Y/N?” God he loved saying your name, and you loved the way your name sounding leaving his lips.
You shrug your shoulders, a smile spread across your lips, “I dont know... just like the others, I told you Angel, I dont have a knack for this stuff.just like the other 6 we just looked at.” he laughed and looked behind you, a woman approaching your direction.
“Y/N! so much for meeting back there in 30 minutes.” Daisy shouted as she came closer to the two of you. “You ready to head out? I Just loaded all of my things up. Im starving.” she looked back and forth between the two of you, trying to get a feel for whatever she was interrupting.
“Shit, Daisy, Im sorry, I lost track of time. Angel, this is Daisy, Daisy, this is Angel. yeah lets head out, Im hungry too. Angel, you wanna come?” you ask.
Angel shook his head, “Nah, thats okay, Ima hang out here for a bit.”
“alright, well, it was nice meeting you Angel,” Daisy emphasized his name and turned to head toward the exit.
“Nice to meet you, this was fun, thanks for hanging out with me..” you looked up at him and he smiled back, nodding. “see you around?” you start to turn for the door when he called out to you.
“Y/N-” you turned around to face him again, “go out with me.” he looked nervous, unsure. you barely gave him time to finish his sentence when you shot our your answer, “okay. when?”
His eyes went wide, “wait, really?”
You laughed, placing your hands in your back pockets and shrugged, “why not?”
“aight.. tomorrow? 7?” he asked.
“okay, 7. I work at the diner 3 blocks from here, meet me there. see you tomorrow Angel.”
_____________________________________
it was 6:45 and your shift was coming to a close. You were wiping the counter down and looked out the window and saw Angel, leaned against his bike, clad in a blue and grey short sleeve button up, black jeans, and a leather vest. You knew that vest. You had seen it around town on other men, belonging to  the Mayans. He held a cigarette between his lips as he watched you work. When 7PM hit, you never clocked out faster in your life.
“Hey”, you smiled up at him, making him feel like he could melt.
“Your chariot awaits you.” he shows off his bike and hands you a helmet. you took the helmet in your hands and looked cautiously at the bike.
“You know, I drove here.. so, we can take my car?” you say.
he laughs and takes the helmet from you, placing it on your head and strapping it up beneath your chin. “its all part of the experience, querida. come on.” he swings his leg over his bike, as you get on behind him. “alright, put your hands here, like this,” he brings your hands around to wrap his center, “a little tighter, like this”. you took in his scent and it was intoxicating. The smell of leather mixed with his cologne and burnt kush was enough to make you dizzy.
Your date was perfect. Angel was the perfect gentlemen and carried quite the conversation. When the night was nearing the end, he offered to drop you back at your car and follow you back to your place, to walk you to your door and ensure you made it home safely. You happily obliged.
When you pulled into your driveway, he parked his bike, shut it off, and met you at your car. He walked you to your door and you felt like you were in high school all over again.
“Thank you for tonight Angel, I had fun.” You felt you cheeks turn red as he looked at you, a grin on his face.
“Yeah, me too.... I like you. Y/N. A lot...”
“I like you too....” you reached into your purse and dug for your house keys.
“Thanks for coming out with me, you should come by the yard tomorrow, we’ll get some lunch.” He said. “I should head out... goodnight Y/N.”
“Goodnight Angel.” You held a gaze for a few seconds, hoping he’d close the space in between you , but he smiled and turned to head back to his bike.
“Angel, do you ... wanna come in?”
He turned back to look at you, a sparkle in his eye. “More than you know... but. Not tonight...” he walked back to you and pulled you into him, placing a soft kiss to your cheek.
“Goodnight, mi dulce..”

How come Misha gets away with causing so much damage to this show?
Tumblr media
Thanks for the conundrum @staycejo1:
That is a good question to ask.  How does Misha get away with so much?  The reason is simple.  Misha is smart.  Compared to Jared who is merely scholarly or book smart, and Jensen who is intelligent with regards to cinema and various arts [he hit the nail on the head with wincest, year ago], Misha is shrewd.  I don't like the man, but I have to admit, he is very smart.  He is using something I learned about whilst studying Public Relations: networking.  Networking requires skill.  You need to know how to talk to people and you need to know which people to talk to.  If you network properly, you reap major benefits.  There are a few cliques that Misha might be networking with:  SPN production personnel, SPN alumni and cast members, Creation Entertainment, media personnel and selected fans.
SPN Personnel and affiliates
I elaborated on these people in other posts.
Bob Singer:
Bob Singer has been a co-showrunner for almost all the time that SPN has been on air.  He handles production while the other co-showrunner handles the story.  And yet, this man never gives the impression that he is a showrunner.  When Sera Gamble killed off Castiel, rumor has it, that Singer fought to bring the character back.
Eugenie Ross-Lemming and Brad Buckner
She is Bob's wife and was brought on board with her writing partner, Brad  Buckner.  Since season 7, she has enjoyed many promotions.  Now she is a co-executive producer on the show.  Nice to work for your husband, huh.  She and Brad butchered Sam's character until recently.  I think Jared told them off.  They were demonizing Sam to elevate Castiel's status.  Currently, they are not writing destiel.  They are not stupid.  They are writing enough material to keep Misha on the show.
Robert Berens
Robert or Bobo Berens started off as a writer and moved up to co-executive producer.  He allows the leads to be abused by heller fans, that he follows online.  Remember, he is the one following problematic fans and not the other way around.  Does that even make sense?
What personal stake do they have in keeping Misha relevant?  Well, they all take their cue from Bob, and he is a close friend of Misha's.  If Bob has a stake in Random Acts or Gish, then it might explain why he isn't willing to let Misha go.  But I don't have that information just yet.
Stands
Misha has shares in Stands.  For awhile now, they have been pushing destiel related merch.  When they start to regret it, you will see a change.  This is because hellers are already complaining about getting duped by Misha regarding the merchandise.  We will just have to wait and see.
SPN alumni, cast members and affiliates
I spoke about these people before so I will gloss over them here.
Kim Rhodes and Brianna Buckmaster
They needed Misha for Wayward Daughters.  They have affiliation with a bunch of fans who are involved in the Travis Aaron Wade scandal.
Osric Chau and Orlando Jones
I don't think Osric had any personal stake in elevating destiel.  He really loved SPN and the fanbase.  He was probably trolling destiel for fun like Orlando Jones does.  The minute both men realized how problematic the hellers are, they slowly backed off.  I don't think Orlando Jones has spoken about destiel in a while.  He still is a friend with Misha as is Osric.  I don't think these actors have any ill will.  So far they just seem like a couple of trolls.  Misha's networking failed with Destiel but succeeded professionally because these two men may be able to ''hook him up'' with other projects.
Creation Entertainment
Someone once pointed out that Adam, the CEO of Creation Entertainment, is in fact, Misha's cousin.  I don't have any sources of that.  However, for awhile CE was pushing a lot of YANA and destiel related things on their con circuit.  The reason is because they have financial stakes in Misha's charities and thought that pushing destiel might make his fans shell out more money.  The cockles photo ops probably gave them the erroneously impression that Misha himself, is profitable.  Recently, however, this happened.
Tumblr media
https://jolygram.com/profile/creationent/photo/1842990860569353024_552397215
They added a caption:  Name a better duo.  We'll wait.  So was Cockles not better anymore?  Misha is not profitable, so all of a sudden, CE loves the leads.  I think they realized that when Misha's entire con fails but one of Jared's sweaty hoodies which he wore all day, fetches $8000 during an auction, that maybe they were betting on the race horse that dances rather than runs to the finish line.
Their personal stake was money which is why they dropped Misha and destiel related endeavors like a hot potato.  Misha's networking failed here.  Well, not completely.  I heard there might be a new Misha con.  I think they want to be sure that he is a failure before letting go completely.
Media Personnel
There are many kinds of mediums that are available to Hollywood.  Some are more important than others.  There are small trendy little pointless media outlets, usually social media outlets, like Hypable, ONTD and Geekiary.  There are bigger more credible ones, also known as mass media outlets, like E! Entertainment.  The heads pick up on news coming from the mass media.  They don't bother with small outlets, and that is where Misha does his networking.  He has people working within these outlets who are not legitimate reporters.  They are merely gossipers and shippers in disguise.  These outlets are invited to meets to disseminate information and that is where Misha connected with these viruses.  Some of these pseudo-journalists have since been demoted, reprimanded or fired for misinformation.
What is their personal stake?  Self-importance.  Hellers and their sock accounts keep these peoples social media handles active.
Selected fans
These are fans that are overly invested in either Castiel or destiel.  Most of them are nobodies but because of their association with Misha, they are recognizable figures.  These are meta writers and influencers within the fandom.  Their names are:
Lua James, with a twitter handle, poptivist.  Real name:  Theresa Cotter
Influencer who regularly attacks Jared on SM, and fled California after Travis's house was vandalized.  Close friend of Kim Rhodes.  Destiel shipper.  Claimed to be a Journalist.  Not sure about that.  Followed by Kim, Matt Cohen, Robert Berens and Briana on SM.
Monica Gleberman
Very big shot.  Lua's bosom buddy and Swagger magazine journalist or editor.  She is a minion who lied that she had sex with Jensen and Jared.  Commits fraud.
Emily Cleghorn
Influencer.  Not sure if she is a meta writer.  Runs the SPN anti bullying twitter handle and Exorcising Emily blog on Tumblr.  J2 kicked her out of con once, because she made them uncomfortable with a tweet.  She got into a twitter fight with William Shatner over destiel.
Reba Snodgrass
Runs small cons like Wayward con.  Proven liar.  Has to know Misha personally in order to run the cons.
Janelle Clay Davis
Influencer, also known as intelligentshipper on Tumblr and GhostofBobby on Twitter.  Claims to be haunted by the YED.  Pushes destiel like a religion.  Cyber stalks people.  Posted a selfie where she is posing with a gun recently.
Sara Burnhope
Knows Misha and his parents personally.  Random acts volunteer as well as Gish participant.  Might have worked with YANA although I am not sure about that one.  Attacks people on his behalf on social media.  Cyber bully.  From the UK.  Might be an influencer.  Not sure if she writes meta.
Melanie Adeline
Regular con-goer and influencer.  She has fans of her own.  She belittles Jared to his face.  Destiel shipper.  Knows Misha and Briana personally.
These influencers and meta writers are important because without them and their overreaching meta, Destiel will fall flat.  Misha accidentally tagged their meta once in a tweet.  Or so he claimed.  What is their stake, other than canon destiel?  Self importance.  These randos are suddenly important people, because Misha put them in that position.  They are the ones who encourage people to vote for Misha for awards, and harass the execs for destiel.  They are the ones who attacked J2 for the Nolacon joke and influenced others to follow suit.  The above women were implicated in the Travis Aaron Wade scandal.  There may be more, but these are the worst of the worst.  As far as I know anyway.
So to answer the question, why does he get away with this problematic system that he has put in place?  Notice, that he is affiliated with small fries.  Misha, like I mentioned before, is a nobody.  People are not linking the irritation they are dealing with, to Misha.  Misha's criticism of SPN's misogyny was reported in those petty small media outlets where his hellers are working.  And it was written in a such way that he is portrayed as a good guy.  If E! spoke about it, Misha would have been in trouble because Pedowitz and gang pay attention to E! not Hypable.  That's why they don't fire him.  They don't know what he has done because he has spn people in his back pocket covering for him.
Even J2 don't have time to look through their own panels.  They are certainly not paying attention to Misha's panels.  So obviously Jensen doesn't know about this.
Tumblr media
If Jensen was aware of this, a fistfight would have broken out of the set.  Jensen would have boxed Misha's ear.  Because this is sick.  This was apparently at one of the Chicons.  I don't know which one, because I can't stomach looking at that over bloated loudmouth.  This is proof that the leads have no time to spare looking at this man's panels.  So he is confident enough to say these things knowing full well, that the lead are too busy to care about him.  He's behavior goes unchecked, and his continued presence on the show ensures that Gish and Random acts are continually funded.  He needs Castiel to keep these two machines running.
Excuse the typos.

Notes: I just really love writing Rob and Adam fighting for Reader’s attention, okay?! Also, while I normally apologize for posting a new chapter too soon, I’m not apologizing now. I’m kind of excited about this series.

Later that night, you were sat on the couch in Briana’s room already feeling a bit tipsy from the drinks you had already indulged in. You listened intently to Briana and Kim as they spoke wildly about some experience that they had with a fan during photo ops earlier that day.
You couldn’t help but to laugh at the absurdity of the story. Surely they were elaborating on what really happened; after all, your experiences this far in the fandom had been pleasant and surprisingly mellow.
“That did not happen,” you laughed.
“Of course it did,” Kim replied. “I would never lie.”
“I have never had an experience like that with a fan.”
“Just you wait,” Briana cut in. “You’re fresh meat. You’ll get yourself a number one fan before you know it.”
“Hopefully not that crazy.”
“It’s not so crazy. I’ve had worse.”
“Well, luckily people don’t have that much of an interest in me. So far, I’ve gotten fan art and that’s about it.”
“You haven’t found the fan fiction yet?” Briana asked.
“The what?”
“Oh girl, you really are so innocent,” she laughed in return.
“I don’t even want to know.”
“Hold on to that innocence while you can.”
“Yeah, I'm going to get another drink.”
You shook your head at her as you stood up from your spot, mostly wanting to get away from the conversation. You had pleasant thoughts of the fandom in your mind, and you certainly did not want those thoughts to be replaced by their wild stories of their own experiences.
You were standing at the small makeshift bar, pouring yourself a drink when Adam approached you. He had been unable to catch you all day long, but now was the perfect opportunity and he knew it.
Truthfully, you had sort of purposely avoided him. After the way he made things so weird between you earlier, you sort of didn’t want to know what he could possibly want to talk to you about.
You didn’t want to jump to conclusions, but you also weren’t stupid. All of your instincts were telling you that he was interested in you and that he had been for some time. You sort of thought he might be working up the nerve to ask you out this weekend. Normally, that wouldn’t be such a big deal to you. He was attractive and nice and you got along well. In any other situation, you could easily see yourself dating someone like him.
But, the only thing that left you wanting to avoid him and the possibility that he was going to make a move on you was the fact that you had it in your mind that you were going to see if there was something there between you and Rob. You thought that you had done well with keeping Adam in the friend zone, but you really had no clue what he was up to now. You mostly wanted to avoid hurting his feelings if he was planning to make a move.
“You were great tonight,” he said as he raised his drink to you.
You met him as his offer and clinked your glass with his, allowing him to congratulate you.
“Thank you. I like to think it was pretty damn good at the end.”
“It was all good.”
“I’m pretty sure we all heard me fuck up at the beginning.”
“It was adorable,” he smiled.
“Thank you,” you said again. “Really, everyone has been way too nice about that performance, but I’ll take it.”
“You know, you really don’t give yourself enough credit.”
“I’ll work on that,” you laughed.
“Please do,” he smiled in return. “I love seeing you confident.”
“Well, I have really great friends who are always confident enough in me that I don’t have to work so hard.”
“I was hoping we could still talk,” he began. “I’ve been trying to catch you all day, but you never have time for me.”
“Oh, well I’m guess I’m free right now,” you mumbled in return.
Adam seemed to ready himself for what he wanted to say and you couldn’t help but giggle over how nervous he looked all of the sudden. You were sure that you knew what this was and you began to play in your mind what you would say in response. It wasn’t that you didn’t like him or that you didn’t find him attractive; you were just too hung up on Rob for it to be fair to allow him to possibly ask you out.
“Y/N, I’ve been thinking-”
He was cut off as Rich unexpectedly pushed his way in between the two of you. He had his back to you, bumping you out of the way as he got Adam’s attention.
“Buddy!” Rich exclaimed a bit too excitedly, playfully slapping Adam on the shoulder. “Misha was just telling us about that thing that happened at your first convention. We’d love to hear your side of it.”
“What thing?” He replied.
“The story,” Rich laughed. “The one with the broom and the chair… Misha didn’t remember details, so I figured I’d come straight to the source.”
“Oh, that was just a prank in the green room. I’ve told that story a bunch of times.”
“Well, I’d love to hear it again,” Rich continued. “Robbie and I have been jotting down stories that happen during conventions for our show. I’d feel better getting the details from you. Do you have time now?”
“Uh, yeah, I guess I have a minute,” Adam replied.
You caught sight of him glancing over Rich’s shoulder to look at you. You gave him a shrug as if to say “what can ya do?” and he frowned when he realized he had been interrupted again.
“Great, come on over,” Rich said pointing to a small group of people huddled on one side of the room.
You watched Rich walk away and looked back at Adam.
”I’ll be right back,” he said, looking annoyed now.
You looked over at Rich who was waiting for Adam. It was a weird thing for him to be this insistent about talking to anyone, especially concerning an apparent prank. Honestly, a part of you felt that Rich was just purposely trying to keep him away from you. You really didn’t mind. You had a feeling about what Adam wanted, and you really didn’t want that conversation to happen.
You eased up as Adam walked away, now trying to come up with ideas on how to avoid him from here on out. You knew he could easily pull you away from any conversation with anyone here and no one would think anything of it.
You decided that it would be best to call it a night; if only to avoid the conversation that you didn’t want to have. You felt like a jerk for choosing to give up the rest of the party just so that you didn’t have to hurt Adam’s feelings, but you really weren’t in the mood to deal with this.
You quickly downed the remainder of your drink and made your move to leave before Rich lost Adam’s attention.
Just as you were close to the exit, you felt a hand grasp gently onto your arm to stop you. You turned, relieved to see Rob there.
“Hey,” he greeted you.
You smiled back at him, feeling yourself blush. This had been an ongoing thing. You and Rob seemed to be innocently flirting with each other constantly. Every time you felt the need to maybe push it a little bit, he always backed off. The moment that you realized you made him uncomfortable, you’d back off and then he’d be right back to flirting with you.
“Hey,” you replied, trying to give him a flirty smile since you really wanted to know if he was interested.
“I’ve been trying to get you alone all night,” he began. “Every time I want to talk to you, someone else is stealing your attention.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, Adam doesn’t give anyone else a chance to speak to you. He’s being selfish really.”
“Well, no one else has my attention right now,” you replied. “I’m all yours.”
He swallowed hard at your words, looking as adorable as ever when he was anxious.
“You sure you have time for me?” He asked.
“I always have time for you. What’s up?”
“Look,” he began, now getting tense as he willed himself to say what he wanted to say. “ I was thinking that you and I could possibly stop playing this game.”
“What game?”
You tried to sound surprised, but you definitely knew what he meant.
“The one where we flirt with each other and then back down just to come back for more.”
You smiled again, feeling yourself blush harder. While you had a feeling that he had always flirted with you, you never imagined that he’d bring it up. Now, you had confirmation that you were both looking at this relationship the same way.
“I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed that.”
You felt your heart race as he looked at you. Yes, you had developed a crush on him throughout your short stint at these conventions, but you hardly thought anything would ever come of it. You had been sure that he flirted with you in return many times, but you also talked yourself down from thinking that he was at all interested. Now that he was basically stating outright that the two of you flirted with each other, you felt a little more brave in admitting that you were definitely into him.
“We should probably just stop.”
“What do you mean?”
“I’m into you,” he said simply.
His tenseness appeared to dissipate as soon as he said it. He straightened up, looking you right in the eyes as he spoke confidently to you now.
“You’re into me?” You asked. You felt the butterflies again, this time not because you were nervous, but because you were excited. You had spent a lot of time pining over him, and he had been the one to say something first.
“Yeah, I have been for a long time. Tonight just made me realize that I need to do something about it.”
“Oh?” You couldn’t help but laugh a bit. Obviously both of you had kept this from each other for much longer than you’d care to admit.
“Yeah, you were so hot up on stage. I realized that if I didn’t make my move finally, someone else would.”
He nodded in the direction of Adam, who was still chatting with Rich. You smiled to yourself, realizing that he had obviously caught on to the strange flirtation between the two of you that had been going on lately.
“Ooh,” you said as you grinned even more. “Do you think he likes me? He’s cute.”
Although you knew the answer to that, you had to tease Rob a bit. Almost instantly, that confidence that he had built up disappeared as he ran his hand against the back of his neck and stared at the ground.
“See, now I’m regretting even saying anything.”
“I’m joking,” you said as you grabbed his arm to comfort him. “I mean, he is cute… but I’m just teasing you.”
“Please don’t. It took a lot of courage to say something to you finally.”
“You really decided to tell me now that you were into me just because you saw him flirting?”
“Yup,” he replied. “That’s definitely why.”
“Are you jealous?”
“Maybe a little.”
“If it makes you feel any better, I’m not interested in Adam… even if he was really hitting on me.”
“He was,” he said seriously. “That guy has had a thing for you for a long time.”
“Wow, I had no idea that I had all of these options lined up,” you chuckled. “What’s a girl to do?”
“To be fair, I did say something first,” Rob pointed out.
“See, now I can’t help but wonder if you had something to do with Rich pulling him away just now…” you trailed off as you stared at Adam thoughtfully. “He was about to tell me something, and… I dunno... It seems weird that this was the moment Rich picked.”
Rob chuckled softly, looking guilty for a moment as you called him out.
“I- I might have had something to do with that…”
“You don’t play fair, do you?”
“He was going to ask you out,” Rob admitted. “Rich heard him talking about it to someone earlier and he let me know. Said I should make my move before he did.”
“Sneaky,” you said with a laugh. “Seriously though, are you and Adam vying for my attention? I feel like I’m in a bad rom-com.”
“No, we’re not fighting over you,” he laughed. “I just- I like you. I have liked you. I was just too afraid to say anything because… well, look at you.”
“You flatter me. Anyway, thanks for telling me you like me, I guess. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with all of that…”
“I just wanted to tell you before he did. Just so you know.”
“Well, you didn’t have to distract the man. I would have probably turned him down. I think of him as a friend only.”
“That’s good to know.”
“Besides, I’ve had my eye on someone else.”
“Oh, really? Who?”
“Don’t act like you don’t know.”
“So I did read all of that right.”
“You did.”
“Good.”
“What exactly are you trying to accomplish by telling me that you’re… into me?”
By now, you were slightly annoyed that he had said something, but had still failed at actually asking you out.
“I’m hoping that I can talk you into having dinner with me.”
“Are you finally asking me on a date?”
“Yeah, I am,” he said. “Unless you’re not interested. In that case, pretend this conversation never happened.”
You laughed, taking in how cute he was when he was trying to act confident.
“You know, for someone who trying to stop Adam from asking me out, it sure took you a really long time to get there.”
“Maybe I should have led with that,” he grinned.
“You did fine,” you said softly. “And, as for going on a date, I would really like that.”
“Really? You’d go out with me?”
“Maybe I’ve been waiting for you to ask.”
“Maybe I should’ve asked a long time ago then.”
“Well, now is good.”
“Great,” he said with a smile. “We’ll go on a date then. I promise not to take my shirt off.”
You felt your face heat up again, knowing that your blush was fully noticeable as you recalled having seen him shirtless earlier. He was definitely taunting you over your reaction to the incident the other day. You had hoped that he hadn’t noticed at the time, but he obviously had noticed.
“Unless you want me to,” he teased.
“Maybe we can date a little bit before clothes come off,” you replied. “Besides, you haven’t even seen me nearly naked. Yet.”
This time, Rob blushed wildly. You were proud of your newfound bravery in ramping up your flirting a notch, and you secretly congratulated yourself over how you were able to now turn him into the nervous mess.
“I’m not opposed,” he responded after he collected himself.
You let out a laugh, reaching out to him to rest your hand on his arm. You gripped onto him, noting that he most definitely was toned and now you were nervous again.
“We’ll see if you can handle me fully clothed first,” you replied.
You and Rob spent the rest of the night together mostly talking and moving closer to each other. You hadn’t been on an official date yet, but already you saw yourself as being able to get serious with him. The thought of having him as your boyfriend someday excited you. Out of everyone else here, you clicked with him the most. You never ran out of things to talk about, he made you laugh, he was cute, and he had a way of making you feel like the only person in the room.
As the two of you drank together and lost yourselves in conversation, you had all but forgotten about the weirdness with Adam.
Your goal for the night was to tell Rob that you were into him, and thankfully; he had made the first move.
When Rob was pulled away from you by the guys, you rejoined the girls; realizing that you had basically neglected everyone ever since your conversation with Rob. You were also still trying to avoid Adam, so it was easier to make it visible to everyone in the room that you and Rob wanted to only spend time with each other for a while. You hoped that your closeness with him tonight was enough to make Adam see that you were interested in one man, and that man was not him.
You sat down to join the girls in the middle of one of Briana’s crazy stories. Expecting her to just continue, you pretended to be intrigued by what she was saying.
Unfortunately for you, she stopped in the middle of her story to single you out.
“You and Rob are getting awfully cozy,” she teased.
“Stop it,” you blushed. “I like him.”
“Well, obviously. You know he’s really into you as well?”
“I know,” you grinned. “He already told me.”
“Really? He finally said something?”
“Yes,” you said matter-of-factually, “He asked me out.”
“Oh my god,” Briana cried out dramatically. “It’s finally happened! Now we don’t have to sit back and watch you two drool over each other anymore.”
“No,” Kim added. “We just might have to watch them drool ON each other from now on.”
“Ew,” you laughed as you scrunched up your nose. “There will be no drooling.”
“So…” Kim cut in, smiling ear to ear, “are you two gonna take off together tonight? I need to know since my room is right next to yours. Do I need earplugs?”
“Oh come on,” Briana added. “You know damn well you’d be listening.”
“Stop! I am not going to sleep with him! Not tonight anyway, we haven’t even had a first date.”
“You want to though,” Kim said, wiggling her eyebrows at you teasingly.
“You don’t know what I want. Maybe I want to just take it slow with him. I’m excited to go out with him. Besides, he’s a gentleman, regardless of how much he flirts.”
“He may be a gentleman, but he’s definitely dirty,” she replied. “He’d fuck you so hard tonight if you let him.”
“Look,” you began as you tried to hold back on more blushing. “I like him. A lot. It’s different with him. I don’t want to jump into bed with him too soon. I mean, I wouldn’t be opposed to it, but maybe I want to date him a little first. See if there’s something more serious there.”
“Fine,” Kim sighed. “Be like that.”
When the party had died down, Rob offered to walk you back to your room. You accepted, grateful to have somewhat of a quiet moment with him now.
You stopped at your door and waited for him.
“Would it be too forward of me to kiss you right now?” He asked finally.
“Are you asking if you can kiss me? I need clarification.”
“I am, but I also know we haven’t officially gone out yet, so I don’t wanna press my luck.”
“Well, it is your birthday,” you said softly as you reached up to wrap your arms around him.
He grinned stupidly as you pulled him closer to you. Maybe this was moving too quickly, but you desperately wanted to know what it would be like to kiss him. You had thought about it for so long, and this was your chance. He wanted you as much as you wanted him.
He smiled before leaning into you. You felt his breath, hot against your lips and you stopped breathing as you waited.
“Wait,” he said softly. “I have to ask… since we know that I like you and you’ve obviously liked me for some time... you weren’t singing the stalker song to me, were you?”
“What?”
“I mean, that was hot… the way you sounded when you sang, the way you moved... But, I really don’t need a stalker in my life.”
You gave him a playful slap to his chest, laughing as he grinned at you.
“I hardly have to stalk you.”
“You’re right. I’m making myself too available.”
“You’re such a jerk.”
“But you kinda like it,” he said as he shot you a wink.
“Are you going to kiss me or not?”
You were now impatient. You had spent a long time waiting for this moment to happen with him, and he was certainly playing.
“I am,” he said as he finally moved in again.
Before you could speak again, his lips were pressing against yours. You sighed against his mouth, moving your arms up to wrap around his neck as he gripped onto your waist.
Everything felt so effortless with him. Yes, there had been the initial nervousness over finally admitting that you liked him, and yes, the nervousness stayed even now. But, you loved that you were both able to still joke and flirt the way you always had. The only difference now is that you were finally allowed to take things a little bit further.
You always imagined what it would be like to have him kiss you, and now you knew. You also knew that you never wanted him to stop. This was just as perfect as you always thought it would be. You were just as comfortable with him like this as you had been when you were strictly friends.
“Goodnight,” you said when the kiss ended some time later.
“It is, isn’t it?” He smiled.
You leaned in to kiss him again, still not used to how good it felt to have his lips on yours.
He wrapped his arms around you again, pulling you close to him as the two of you lost yourselves in another kiss.
“I’ve wanted to do this for so long,” he murmured.
“Me too,” you replied as you softly kissed his lips one more time.
“I don’t want you to stop.”
“Well, we gotta stop at some point.”
“Do we?”
“I need my beauty sleep.”
“Hmm,” he hummed. “You’re already beautiful.”
“You keep complimenting me, I might not let you leave at all.”
“Well, you’re also amazing, and talented, and perfect…”
“I’ll see you tomorrow,” you laughed.
“You’re not gonna invite me in?” He smirked.
“Don’t push it,” you said as you playfully poked his chest with your finger.
“I gotta push it, just a little. Because it’s my-”
“... your birthday, I get it,” you laughed.
“Hey, I gotta play the card while I have it.”
“Don’t tempt me,” you said as you bit your lip. Now, you strongly considered inviting him in. You wanted to. But, you also wanted to possibly try for an actual relationship with him. The two of you got along so well, and you were very attracted to him. The last thing you wanted to do was complicate things before they even got started.
“I won’t,” he smiled. “Goodnight, Y/N.”
He moved in slowly and placed a kiss to your face, making you giggle as his beard tickled you. You pushed him away hesitantly, still trying to keep up on the teasing and playing hard to get.
“Tomorrow is a busy day,” you reminded him. “But, don’t forget that you owe me dinner.”
“If you’re staying in town for another night, we can do it tomorrow after the con.”
“Really? You don’t want to wait until we’re back in L.A.?”
“I don’t want to wait at all,” he replied. “If I could have it my way we’d go to dinner now. You know, start moving things along.”
“You’re a dork.”
“I’m just excited to finally have it all out in the open.”

Claudine Adams Stands for Aberdeen
Congratulations are in order! Our President and CEO, Claudine Adams has risen to the occasion once again, as she has recently been appointed by Aberdeen’s Mayor, Patrick McGrady, to join the Aberdeen Economic Development Commission. The position is truly one to honor, as commission members are dedicated to prioritizing the overall growth and upkeep of their cities.
Tumblr media
As a member, Ms. Adams is expected to identify and promote economic development for the city of Aberdeen by supporting and encouraging the growth and retention of existing businesses and industry. Members act as liaisons between the city and other governmental agencies involved with economic development. Duties include reviewing proposed and existing legislative/policy decisions of the Mayor and Council and studying their impact on economic development, recommending financial incentives and/or financing methods that will foster economic advancement, encourage conventions and tourism initiatives that will benefit the city and its surrounding area.
Tumblr media
As her first plan of action, Claudine is channeling her efforts towards a new project for the city of Aberdeen that is sure to bring excitement and tourism to the area. As a board member of the Discovery Center Capital Committee, she is contributing to the building of the Discovery Center at Water’s Edge, which according to APGdiscovery.com is a “place where students of all ages experience, create, and play with science and technology. A place where new worlds are discovered, and connections are made.”
For over 100 years, APG has played a significant role in the development of world-changing technology, and the Discovery Center has plans to add to that legacy. The project is led by the APG Centennial Celebration Association, which hopes that the community welcomes the new center as an upgraded replacement to the US Army Ordnance Museum, that was once housed, and later removed from APG’s property in 2011.
The project will progress in 3 phases which will cost an approximate 2.7 million dollars to complete; a center with state-of-the-art technology. APGdiscovery.com shares that “exhibits will feature virtual reality and give visitors the opportunity to drive a tank or fly a plane. Other exhibits will explore the history and the future of high-performance computing. In addition to interactive exhibits, the Discovery Center will offer after-school programs, maker spaces, and serve as an anchor for the region’s STEM activities.”
The implementation of the Discovery Center is currently in phase 1, and as an open advocate for students studying towards careers in the STEM industry, Claudine has already begun her recruitment campaign for other business moguls in the city of Aberdeen who’d be willing to support the cause.
We are so proud of our President and CEO. She has really made her mark on Aberdeen, and just as the city’s motto goes; she is committed to making our home, your opportunity.

About exhibition
The Chair Who Sat on The Man is a collaborative exhibition presenting work from three young emerging Wellington artists whose work takes a general focus on creating an environmentally sustainable practise, through their use of found, foraged and re-used materials. More artists are shifting their practise towards making work which questions how can we create a more sustainable way of living and being through what we produce and interact with out of necessity, responsibility and passion. The work featured in The Chair Who Sat on the Man places value on the connections and history of objects and materials we use, responding to the question; how can we create without creating more?
EMAIL INVITE
Kia Ora,We would like to warmly invite you to our exhibition opening on Wednesday 2nd October in at 209 Left Bank, Cuba street. The Chair Who Sat on the Man features new work from three emerging Wellington based artists whose work takes a general focus on creating an environmentally sustainable practise, through their use of found, foraged and re-used materials.
We hope to see you there on opening night or during the duration of the event from 03/10 - 05/10.
Best,Briana and The Chair Who Sat on The Man team.
BRIANA
Briana’s work takes a focus on the intersection of industrial and natural materials. All that is and will ever be was created from and is a direct result of our natural resources, but the balance has begun to tip. Natural resources are being depleted, with heavy industrial processing to blame. Briana’s sculptures are an exploration of this balance. Using found and foraged materials which question the value of art objects, these sculptures attempt to visualise this balance. Briana has developed a unique relationship with the materials being used through their practise, finding both connection and duality through their genesis.
Briana insta
Briana, one of the exhibiting artist is a dressmaker, performance artist and found and foraged object enthusiast. Briana responds to our current environmental climate through creating low-impact environmentally sustainable focused art through the use of reused and repurposed materials found on their frequent food forage outings.
JAMES
James’ personal practice explores digital three dimensional landscapes using Google Maps and Density Maps, creating spaces that can be seen in their entirety. Throughout his project, James has been intrigued with the history of the sites, exploring primarily archived material while conducting on-site research to give his photography a deeper understanding. With this information he aims to create experimental videos of landscapes that give a unique viewing experience of a digital space, “exporting” you to the site. James explores how humans have tracked impact on land and how we are shaped though these landscapes. His role in ‘The Chair Who Sat on the Man’ has been as a photographer for the publication and social media as well as an all-round handyman.
James Insta.
Photographer James explores landscapes using readily available programs such as google maps, he creates three dimensional spaces, able to be digitally explored, tracing human interaction on land throughout history. James has been helping out as photographer and all-round handy-man, helping wherever needed when the going gets tough.
SOL
Solomon’s practise explores the emotional power of video, music and design. The work he is exhibiting situates the audience as both the perpetrator of earths current environmental problems and our only hope of salvation. This video installation encourages the viewer to engage in thought around their own consumptive habits which are almost entirely inevitable as a member of a capitalist society. The install also offers visualisations of multiple solutions to climate change. The contrast between these solutions asks the question; should humans cut all engagement with consumerism and current society, favouring a return to more animistic, primal civilisations? Or should we instead focus our energy towards space travel and the colonisation of new planets, in the hope of maintaining our luxurious lifestyle?
Sol Insta.
Solomon uses video and sound installation as a means of prompting an emotional response to the current environmental crisis we face.  Solomon’s work often features emotionally jarring found footage, situating humanity in the position of the “perpetrator” and the “only hope of salvation”.
JOSEFINE
Josefine Stuart
Designer
Originally from the deep south, Josefine is bringing the hunter gatherer culture and other aspects of southern life to Wellington; pāua diving, harvesting mussels, berries and herbs. They are currently working on a project celebrating wild food in Wellington, looking at edible seaweeds to forage on our local shores. Much of the catering for the opening night have been produced by foraged food and recipes from their research.
Josefine insta.
Our resident designer Josefine has an ingrained interest in living off the land, hunting and gathering wild food and celebrating its usages, health benefits and purposes throughout history. Josefine has been working away behind the scenes, foraging food including herbs and seaweed to feed us all on opening night.
WILL
Over the last year Will’s practice has consisted of collecting disregarded materials which he curates and refines to be showcased in a white cube setting. Will dominantly works with packing pallets as a means to create a conversation around the functionality and loss of materials within our capitalist society. Taking something that has previously been used to support stock that will be distributed for consumption, to then being in a white cube context utilised as an art support or as a work of art in itself. Throughout this project he has explored different installation methods exploiting the objects materiality as a means to challenge traditional art supports, also using the white cube to showcase the formal qualities the objects hold. Wills intention is to reconstruct the value system of materials outside of the capitalist ideologies that have been embedded into western society.
Will Insta.
Exhibiting artist Will dominantly works with packing pallets, creating a conversation functionality of materials, re-using a stock distribution support as an art support. Will has pushed this idea to question conventional art supports, showcasing formal qualities of traditional low-value objects.

The OCs: Alex Sheikh
Tumblr media
Full Name: Indulala Alexandra Sheikh
Emojis:  🐘🍚💃🏽🕌👸🏽
Nicknames: Alex by everyone except her mother who calls her Alexandra. Indulala by her dad and step-mom. Zvezda moya by Anatoly. Alexei alternates between calling her maa or just mom.
Birthday: March 20th.
Place of Birth: Hell's Kitchen, New York.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Misc:
- Her parents divorced when she was nine years old and her mother moved to California. Alex almost went with her mom but she decided to stay with her dad in New York.
Alex considers herself whasian since her mother is white and her dad Asian.
- As a child some of the other students would sometimes laugh at her name, Indulala, and pick on her. So she started to go by Alex instead.
- She’s vegetarian just like her dad.
She asks Laila to teach her how to cook non-vegetarian Indian foods since Anatoly isn’t a vegetarian and neither is her step-mom.
- Alex is a practicing Hindu, like her dad. Her mom is Christian, and her step-mom is muslim.
- She isn’t overly close to her mother.
- When she was a teenager she began to work in her dad’s restaurant, Indian Delight, for some extra spending cash. Once she hit highschool and college, she would often fall asleep in a booth from studying.
- Her favorite dessert is gulab jamun.
- She speaks Hindi fluently since her dad wanted to make sure she knew the language but she struggles with reading and writing in it.
- Her paternal grandmother in India tells her father that he should find a suitable husband for Alex before she’s too old. Alex is eleven when she hears this and chokes on her rice.
Sanjay tells his mother that Alex will get married when she is ready and to who she wants to marry.
- She’s twelve when her dad meets Laila.
Sanjay meets Laila while visiting family in India and after several months of long distance, Sanjay brings Alex with him to India for his and Laila’s wedding.
- Laila was a trained dancer in India and teaches Alex how to dance. Alex falls in love with dancing and so begins to learn other forms of the art and decides that she wants to teach dance and own her own studio one day.
Alex sucks at ballet. It’s her least favorite form of dance when she does it but she loves to watch others.
- Alex always loved spending half of the summer in India with her family. She has many cousins around her age so she never felt without friends. Her mother’s side of the family is much smaller than her dad’s. Alex herself is an only child.
- She has many favorite colors; really she just loves bright and vibrant colors.
- Her favorite animal is elephants.
- Alex is fairly short, five foot, two inches.
Anatoly has called her a hobit many times before.
- She meets Anatoly when she’s twenty-two. He had been 38. He hadn’t realized she was so much younger than him and she hadn’t realized how much older he was but by the end of their first date, neither really cared. There was an equal amount of pull of affection from both.
He and Vladimir had gone out for lunch and decided to try Indian Delight. Alex was their server and Anatoly couldn’t help but be captivated by her. Vladimir calls him out in Russian on staring at Alex’s butt as she walks away.
- For Alex and Anatoly’s first date they go to a Korean restaurant.
- They end up dating and getting married two years later. The wedding was a very Indian wedding; big and long.
Anatoly hid the mafia life from Alex throughout their dating time.
The women in the Veles mafia, Vera, Yulia, and Liliya, had gotten henna for the wedding from Alex’s relatives.
- A year and a half into their marriage Alex learns that she’s pregnant.
This begins a series of events. The pregnancy is hard for Alex as she’s very anemic and worries she’s going to lose the baby. She’s constantly tired and exhausted, hates some of the cravings she has, and Anatoly is very over-protective of her.
To add on, she and Anatoly have the hardest time picking out baby names. They settle on the agreement that the baby’s name will start with A just like their names and that she can pick out one Hindi and one Russian name, he’ll do the same, then they’ll just pick their favorite out of the four.
Alex picks the names Aaliyah and Alyona. Anatoly picks Anna and Anshula. Once the baby is born Alex tells Anatoly he can pick the name and they name the baby Anna.
- Soon after the birth though Alex finds out about Anatoly’s mafia business and takes their child and leaves him. She’s too afraid to go to the police, fearing something may happen to her child and parents.
- It takes a few years of living with her parents before she finally has the means to move out on her own.
The subdivision she moves into, Yuri and Yuriko live across the street. The Jackson families lives next door on one side with the Li family on the other. This leads to the formation of Alexei, Taka, Jamie, and Peyton being an inseparable foursome.
- At first Alex is terrified when she sees Yuri since Yuri worked for Anatoly and she worried that he would tell Anatoly where she was. But Yuri had a secret family that no one else in the Veles mafia knew about and he didn’t want anything happening to Yuriko or their son. So he and Alex made a deal that they wouldn’t tell anyone about the other.
This would later blow up in their faces but the agreement works well for several years.
- When Anna comes out as trans at twelve, Alex stays up for two whole nights doing research and learning the terminology. She takes Alexei to a doctor and both learn about hormone blockers and HRT.
While reading over the notes she had taken at the doctor’s office later, Alex almost cries. She wants more than anything for her child to be happy and feel safe but she just doesn’t see how she’ll be able to afford the blockers. After a day of thinking it through she decides to talk to Yuri and goes to visit Anatoly at the Veles taxi garage.
She’s nervous and terrified to be talking to Anatoly but steels herself, this is for her baby. He doesn’t understand all of the terminology she’s using but he gets the gist of it -- their child is their son and Alex needs help paying for future medical bills. Anatoly gives her the money. Then asks if he’ll be allowed to see their son.
- Alex helps come up with names.
“I liked the name Ayan. But your father didn’t. We had so many disagreements over your name.” It’s the first time in a very very long time that Alex mentions Anatoly and Alexei asks about his father. He decides on a Russian name; Alexei.
- Alex and Alexei have a tradition that during spring break they go to a boardwalk in New Jersey. Both look forward to it all year.
- Alex loves henna. It’s something that she and her step-mom do together often. Alexei likes it too and has been known to help Alex sometimes with it.
- Alex becomes good friends with  André, Malee, and Yuriko. The four families end up celebrating many holidays together. They have the best cook outs.
Because of this, Alexei, Taka, Jamie, Peyton, and Marie have very high standards of Indian, Japanese, Thai, and Chinese foods.
- The few times that Alex has dyed her hair she’s used henna hair dyes. She’s allergic to box dyes.
- She teaches Alexei traditional Indian dances.
She’s taught Marie, Ravdí, Vasya, and Nika how to pole down (because of the exercise and Marie and Vasya both want to be able to do all sorts of dance too). She teaches Toly hip-hop.
- Anatoly doesn’t tell Alex about re-marrying or his other two sons so it’s a surprise to say the least to both Shauna and Alex when they meet each other.
Until she learned about Shauna, Toly, and Andrey, she imagined a life with Anatoly again. Since they had never officially divorced Alex and Alexei both thought it might be possible. Alex is heartbroken all over again when she learns the truth.
Alex never once blames or hates Shauna, just feels awkward because she feels like a homewrecker. Shauna is heartbroken and angry at Anatoly but doesn’t hate Alex either.
Alexei takes some time to warm up to his younger half brothers but soon the three are super close and willing to throw down in a fight for each other.
- Alex and Shauna become very great, nearly best, friends. The only reason Shauna is hesitant to say best is because Briana has been her childhood best friend.
The two do Saturday afternoon yoga together.
- She is very particular about her house being very clean. Hence why she has no pets and why Alexei’s messy room bothers her so much.
Alexei begs for a pet so she allows him to have fish. He starts an aquarium with three fish in his bedroom.
- Her favorite movie is Ram Leela.
- When she cooks she listens to Bollywood music and can’t help but to dance around the kitchen as she cooks. Alexei has taken many snapchats of her and sent them to his friends.
Her favorite thing to cook is curry. Any kind, she loves curry.
Sometimes when he’s helping her cook, Alexei will dance along as well.
- She considers Toly and Andrey to be her nephews since they are Alexei’s younger half brothers.
Learning that Vladimir has children of his own is a surprise to her and she treats Jack and Vasya as her nephew and niece as well.
She finds it ironic that Vasya had been learning ballet at her dance studio for years as well. Alex was always so close to Anatoly and neither of them knew it.
- When she’s much older, since Alex has no daughters, she gives a majority of her jewelry to her granddaughter, Zarya.
6 songs that she probably has on her phone/fit her well:
Sunrise by Norah Jones
Rockabye by Anne Marie
Desi Girl by Dostana
Crown by Camilla Cabello ft. Grey
Darling by Rekha Bhardwaj
Доброе утро by Vera Brezhneva
