Dani was travelling the world. She had a blast! Sure, Batman was constantly trying to catch her, and Superman kept finding her no matter what she did, but Wonder Woman was so cool! She was a live Amazonian! The only ones she had met were the dead ones, like Pandora. She kept Danny updated on her adventures.
A month later; she starts to destabilize. Wonder Woman is the first one to notice, but Dani knows what’s going on. She needs to reach Danny. She needs his help.
She never made it.
Instead, she wakes up in the Justice League infirmary, hooked up to multiple machines, and in her human form. Superman is sitting by her bedside and helps her pull the respirator out of her throat when she gags.
She gets the full story almost immediately. When she collapsed, Wonder Woman caught her and brought her to a place called the Watchtower—where she was now. They found her cells dying of an unknown disease and had tried everything to save her. They noticed that her DNA had been falling apart: it needed to be stabilized. (She already knew that it was a possibility) Initially; they had tried to use Wonder Woman’s dna, but her body rejected it. Batman’s had been used next, but it had also been rejected. In an attempt to save her, they injected her with Superman’s dna. Her body accepted it, and now Superman was genetically her father. The dna she carried before was only half of her dna now.
She felt violated. Betrayed. They had messed with her dna and had changed it without her permission. She wanted to be angry, but she knew it was for her best interest. She knew that Danny wasn’t going to be happy with the situation whenever he found out, though.
Don't mess with ghost parents if you want to continue alive Chapter 3 on Ao3
Ellie was sitting on one of the individual couches, her fingers couldn't stop fidgeting with each other. She doesn't know how many times she had seen the teenager sitting in front of her before she looked away in order to not overwhelm him.
But, she just couldn't help it. He was her son, her ghost baby. Well, half ghost baby and half alien, but he was hers. Being a ghost herself she knew what having a ghost baby represented. At least in descriptive theory. However, she didn't think her own experience would be so mind-blowingly overwhelming.
Her ghostly maternal instincts could not be appeased, let alone diverted from keeping her attention on her whelp.
Pandora had explained to her in detail what being a ghost mother; whether by ghost "natural" way or core bonding, meant. This after the ghost goddess would adopt both Danny and her and Jazz.
Just remembering how clingy, fierce and overprotective the warrior was with them the first few years she felt ashamed to complain back then. For now, she was in her adoptive mother's place and wanted to have some of the control the goddess had developed when they couldn't stay in the Ghost Zone as long due to college.
Ellie looked at the restless fingers on her hands and bit the inside of her cheek inconspicuously.
Although, in this case none of that options fit her current situation. Because she didn't do the bees and flowers thing with someone liminal, human or ghost, nor did she acquire the child through adoption; core link. In this case, someone got her genetic code and the one from a super hero alien, and did all the work for her.
... For some reason, that last sentence feels weird and wrong.
Best not to think about it.
Looking again at the boy who was receiving clarification from her older sister, the anxieties of hugging and cuddling him in a nest of sheets inside her haunt in the Ghost Zone resurfaced again when he looked back at her. The anxiety increases when the teenager immediately withdraws his eyes from her. But now with fear for be ignoring by her little boy.
She almost let out a disconsolate trill. However, she didn't. Danny was watching her leaning back against the wall and holding her new niece in his arms. She wasn't going to give him a reason to stretch that shit-eating grin on his face.
Idea came from a comment @ourrechte-blog made on This post
So, back when Ellie was traveling the world, she saw quite a few things that she really didn't like. War Crimes, Humans Rights Violations, Poverty, etc.
And she really wanted to draw some attention to those problems, but she knew that as some random kid those stories would never receive the press they deserved. So she decided to Become the press instead.
She went back to Danny, who was also on the run, and they both got new Identities. Danny became Sam "Daniel" Lane, and Ellie became Lois "Ellie" Lane. (Also she reverted to her true age, so the ages matched up)
Ellie, now Lois, began to go to School so she could establish her new identity. Eventually, she managed to get to College, Graduated, and got a Job at the biggest newpaper she could, the Daily Planet.
She was now living her best life. She was a credited reporter, her dad was a Military General, and she was spreading the word about all the problems in the world that often got overlooked.
Then, one day, Lois met a really nice guy named Clark Kent. He was such a sweetheart, and had such a kind personality. She was immediately smitten.
Even Danny liked him, and Danny barely liked anyone for fear of them hurting his daughter.
And it got even better when she figured out that he was Superman, a Superhero just like her dad used to be. She proved it when she jumped off of the roof of the Daily Planet and he caught her. (She was never in danger, she can fly too. But she did decide that even if he wasn't superman, she trusted him enough to tell him that she had powers)
They got married, and one day Clark came home looking disturbed about something.
Apparently he just found out that a company called Cadmus had tried to Clone him.
She was not happy when he told her that he didn't want to accept the kid.
"Clark. So help me Ancients, if you left that poor boy alone and rejected him after he did nothing wrong I am going to string you up by your toenails and let my Uncle Fright go to town on you with his Magic Sword!"
"I-I know what I did was wrong honey, but why are you so angry about it?!"
"Clark, I'm also a Clone! You know I don't have a Mom, how did you never ask my dad or me about that!?"
"I thought he was dead or something! I'm sorry!"
"We'll talk about this later, let's go talk to that poor kid."
"So, who did it?" Bruce asked, eyes narrowed at the children before him. Clark was next to him trying once more to persuade Bruce that it was unnecessary to go after the kids like this.
The 'kids' in question were the assembly of three of his children, Clark's child and clone and a couple of their respected friends.
"Father, I do not know what you are talking about." Damian piped up offended and crossed his arms. Next to him Jon scratched the back of his head in mild confusion and Dani despite not knowing what was going on but still glaring in defiance at Bruce.
"If this is about our prank war it was definitely not necessary to interrogate our friends too." Tim added looking every bit like he would be somewhere else than here. Kon and Bart were with him. Kon looked rather unsure while Bart had gone and gotten himself popcorn for whatever was going to happen.
"Look old man, how was I supposed to know Replacement would trigger the glitter bomb inside the Batmobile. I already cleaned that up!" Jason put in his two cents, Roy eyeing the other with a raised eyebrow.
Bruce stared at them quietly, not saying a word as Clark continued to fuss next to him to not make it a big deal and that a deep clean would surely fix everything.
"It's not your prank war I am talking about. Alfred will deal with you about the chaos you caused." The three respected batkids swallowed audibly while their friends chuckled. "No, what I am asking is which one of you decided it was a good idea to dye Clark's hero suit and my cape pink."
"Wait, someone actually did that to Dad?!" Jon piped up wide eyed as Dani broke out laughing causing Damian to eye the ghost girl with narrowed eyes and suspicion.
"Who would…" Tim started but didn't finish as his mind came up with possible suspects. Kon on Bart next to him went onto their phones, trying to search up pictures of Superman in a pink hero suit.
Jason and Roy broke out laughing too, voicing their respect to whoever managed to do that.
Bruce's eye twitch at the children's reaction. He then proceeded to pull out an opened can of pink dye and placed it on the table in perfect view of everyone. "Do you recognise this? Jason? Tim?"
"WHY ME?!" They both cried out in protest and Bruce narrowed his eyes on the two. "Jason, your last prank on Tim involved a glitter bomb with pink dye, the Batmobile's seats are still strained pink. Tim, you dyed Damian's shirts pink a couple days ago at the beginning of your prank war."
"So it was you Drake! You are going to pay for this!"
"And I will do it again if you ever touch my laptop again, Demon Brat!"
"How does that even prove that one of us did it!"
"It doesn't!"
"Do you think there might be someone else that fell victim to the pink dye in the JL?"
"Maybe?"
"Why would someone even go after Clark? He has nothing to do with our prank war."
"Jason, my friend. You are indirectly admitting that you would dye Batman's cape pink."
Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose as the children before him (he ignored that at least two of them were over 20, they were children period) started to argue among themselves while Damian's newest friend the Daughter of Phantom, who recently joined the Justice League Dark, was by now rolling on the ground laughing.
Not far from the interrogation Danny sat by a table next to Alfred snacking on some of the best cookies he had ever gotten to eat. He had originally come by to hang out with Tim, Kon and Bart but now he was threaded to some A+ entertainment, Dani was clearly enjoying.
"You recognize the can, don't you Mr. Daniel? I believe you accidentally left it behind in the cave." Danny side eyed the butler next to him and grinned into his next bite of a cookie. "Supes deserved it."
The man hummed and Danny smiled as he was offered another cookie. "I believe I know why but would you please elaborate on why Master Bruce also got targeted? I will most likely be the one who will have to wash out the cape."
The half ghost didn't say anything at first before shrugging. "Kon wasn't the only one who deserved some Justice for how he had been treated in the past. I know they get along now but still… a little pay back for past mistreatment wouldn't hurt anyone right?"
"Ah, so it was for Mr. Conner and Master Jason." The butler smiled in understanding, pushing over a box of take away cookies to Danny. "May I suggest that next time you seek out justice for the boy, that there are other -embarrassing- ways to achieve it."
Danny only gave the man a feral grin as he hopped off the chair with the box in hand. It was time to release the children of Bruce's interrogation. He would just put the blame on Constantine somehow, like a spell gone wrong instead of actual dye being the cause. The man owned him anyway since he had gotten most of his soul back aside from a couple of pieces he was still negotiating over in the Ghost Zone.
So, I hadn’t originally planned on doing anything for Dani, but this post from @aziraphale-is-a-cats-a-cat got me thinking about things, and I ended up writing this.
So, while the men of the Justice League are trying to figure out who Dani is a clone of, Wonder Woman takes one look at the black haired, blue eyed, mischievous girl and can’t help but see herself in her and claim, “Mine.”
The rest of the League try, but there’s no arguing with Diana now that she’s set her mind on something, but Bruce and Clark have kids and know it’s not as easy as it looks to take care of them. She’s only ever been the “fun aunt;” she’s never had to get into the dirty, exhausting parts of parenthood before. It escalates to a full-blown argument, but if Dani has any say in it, she’d rather chill at Wonder Woman’s place for a while. It sounds better than staying in some gross cave or ice castle, and space isn’t her thing (the same way it’s Danny’s), so she’d rather not stay in the Watchtower.
Arguments about clones and custody continue over the next few weeks, not helped by the fact that Dani is still pretty unconcerned about the whole situation. Or, she was unconcerned until Vlad showed up. He’d decided enough was enough and it was long past time he collect his property.
It only takes a single scream.
Diana bursts into the room, fist connecting with Vlad’s jaw, and he’s knocked across the room.
“Don’t. Touch. My child.”
She proceeds to hand his ass to him on a bronze platter before he flees into the night, bruised and bloody.
Now it’s Dani’s turn to latch onto Diana’s leg, shouting “Mine!” This is her new, kick-ass mommy and no one else can have her. Dibs! No take backs! Well, it’s settled, now. Diana is officially Dani’s mom, and no member of the JLA can stop it. She scoops Dani up in her arms, and before she’s even out the door, she’s already telling the other Amazon’s the good news and making plans to take Dani to Themyscira to meet her γιαγιά Hippolyta.
The two work on figuring out family life, and all’s good for a while. Dani’s got a (relatively) stable home life and is quickly adapting to life as “Danielle Prince.” She likes that the name sounds similar to Diana’s, like it was on purposeful choice rather than a cheap knockoff of her original’s name, and she’s getting a lot more comfortable with it. Bruce, thoroughly defeated and resigned to put away the adoption papers, helps her enroll is a good school and finds tutors to catch her up on the years of schooling she didn’t live through. (This includes Jason Todd, who has volunteered himself as an excuse to hang out with Wonder Woman more.) Louis helps her get legal paperwork and documents for Dani (something she helped do for Kon). She makes friends with Damian and Jon. And she’s just as skilled as Danny with language, so she’s picking up Greek rapidly.
Since Diana’s adopted her and she’s gained an army of superpowered babysitters, Dani is finally starting to feel comfortable enough to share some information with the League. It’s not much, but she lets them know Plasmius is the one who cloned her, and her last name used to be Fenton.
Oh, no. Between those colors and facial features, Clark has a pretty good guess at which Fenton family she came from. Still, the family is enormous, so he doesn’t know which Fenton exactly was cloned, but the family reunion is this year, and wouldn’t hurt to give Dani a bigger support system. Would she and Diana like to come?
Vlad, meanwhile, has recovered and is pissed. After shadowing Wonder Woman from a healthy distance, he finds out she’s supermodel Diana Prince. Plasmius may not have been a match for Wonder Woman, but billionaire Vlad Masters is more than capable of taking some supermodel down a peg or two.
So, he approaches Diana at work, telling her he knows who she is and that he wants his “daughter” back. His “minion” might not have been a match for her, but if she refuses to comply, he’ll ruin her career.
And she laughs. Laughs right in his face. Loudly. Because she knows he’s bluffing. A billionaire and supermodel isn’t anything new as far as the media is concerned; it’s a cliché. But a deadbeat billionaire dad threatening to steal back an illegitimate child from an abandoned single mother? After years of not paying any child support? The media would eat something like that right up. Something that could drop stock prices and ruin political careers. That’s something anyone would be desperate to keep hushed up and out of the media spotlight, and she’ll drag him kicking and screaming into said spotlight if he comes anywhere near her daughter. Or maybe the media would prefer to know the real story about his illegal cloning? After all, that went over so well for Lex Luthor.
Vlad leaves, and Diana makes a few calls. First, she makes sure Clark heard everything in that conversation and sets him on the warpath against DalvCo if need be. She gets Bruce up to speed, and if there’s one thing he’s in the best position to do, it’s to hit Vlad where it really hurts: his wallet. Vlad was already a pretty scummy businessman. Wayne Enterprises didn’t need much of an excuse to cancel or back out of business deals with him.
But Diana is still shaken up by the event, even if she’s not going to let it show. Right now, she wants to send Dani away to Themyscira behind a wall of Amazons where she knows no one will be able to touch her, but Bruce and Louis talk her down. Dani’s finally settling into a normal-ish life, and uprooting her now will not help her, and if push comes to shove, trying to whisk her away will not look good to the courts. Louis knows a great lawyer, and Bruce is willing to foot the bill.
For Vlad, that did not go as expected at all. He hadn’t expected her to know Danielle was a clone, and he doesn’t want Danielle to be public knowledge. However, he has no intention of getting lawyers involved; she’d be expecting that. No, he has something far more insidious planned. It’s been decades since he’s attended one, but the Fenton Family Reunion should be coming up soon, and as far at that family is concerned, once a Fenton, always a Fenton. She’s prepared to fight lawyers? Well, Let’s see how she fares against an army of angry grandparents and disapproving aunts demanding that his poor child be returned to him once he sets the family on the warpath.
Sometimes i think about how Jack's mother is Stevie who was married to Conrad whose son is Daniel whose mother is Victoria whose daughter is Charlotte whose father is David whose daughter is Amanda Clarke aka Emily Thorne. And how the two people Jack married went by both Amanda and Emily, one of whom had his child and the other was the godmother.
Also the two people Emily married
were kinda sorta stepbrothers because both of their mothers were married to Conrad
were both with Margaux at some point and one of them fathered her child
the same one she shared a sibling with, and
said sibling almost had a child with the half-sibling of Emily's other husband.

Ok! So I will put here all Lina's lore and Data about her ♥
Real Name: Lina Shirou.
Work Alias/ Second identity: Miss Misa.
Height: 1,68 cm.
Weight: 70 kg.
Hair: Natural brown, dyed intense red.
Eyes: Brown.
Date of birth: 15/06/84.
Blood type: A
Zodiac sign: Gemini.
Favorite color: Blue.
Dislikes: Brown clothes, Math, lies, mean people. She isn't so good at drawings and sometimes she gets stressed easily, due her stressful job as a chef.
Lina is the daughter of Doctor Clark's assistant, who donated the mitochondrial material for Solid Snake in the "Les Enfants Terribles" project. She doesn't know her biological father, but she knows he was Latin American.
Her childhood was rather happy and normal. In her adolescence, her mother started dating a new boyfriend who works for the CIA, and she doesn't have a very good relationship with him. But the biggest problem for Lina during those years was the bullying she experienced at school. This led her to develop depression and some issues related to the bullying.
But that didn't stop her from pursuing her dream: to become a chef. At the age of 20, she studied culinary arts for two years and worked as a cook and chef in a high-production kitchen at a prestigious hotel for 5 years.
At the age of 27, the high stress, long working hours, and demanding environment made her question and rethink her professional life. As a result, she decided to study to become an AI developer.
At 31, thanks to the connections of her mother's boyfriend, she was able to secure a job at DARPA.
As a newcomer, she wasn't initially assigned to any specific project to work on, which led her to improve some of the programs and implementations at the Mojave Desert facility. This drove her to become obsessed with the speed and efficiency of her programming.
Her effectiveness at work caught the attention of the facility's director, Daniel Carr, who had his eyes set on an ambitious project: creating a new Metal Gear operated entirely by AI, based on MG Rex.
Carr was particularly fixated on the work of the Emmerich Family, having access to all the documents and research conducted by the family at the CIA, ARPA, DARPA, and ARMSTECH, respectively. In this way, the work of Dr. Strangelove fell into Lina's hands, becoming her role model and greatest inspiration in her own work.
What she didn't know was that Daniel Carr is a tyrannical and dictatorial person who wants this MG for his own purposes.
He forcefully offers her to work on the development project of this new REX model, causing alarm Lina's mind about how dangerous this new attempt to recreate weapons manipulated by artificial intelligence with current technology could be.
In her attempt to refuse to be part of the project, it triggers Carr's dominant behavior, resulting in a sexual assault on her with the aim of keeping her with him.
However, it turned out to be the opposite: Lina reported the incident, almost exposing Carr's plans. In his desperation to cover it all up, Carr must expel her from DARPA and labels her as a "traitor" fleeing with too much confidential information.
This leads Lina to flee her home, change her name and appearance to carry out her plan: to warn Hal Emmerich about the use of his research, blueprints, and development of Rex.
She moves to New York to start a new life and manages to contact Hal through the internet, and they begin chatting on February 9, 2017. They form an online friendship for about a month and connect through their shared interest in video games…
(Get interesting? please read the fic for more ♥) (As always, all the art for "The Emmerich's Curse" is made by @VenomWalter_art, you can find him on twitter)
OK I'm watching/rewatching Revenge and I'm going to try and track all of the ridiculous relationships.
In the start we have Emily. Her father is David Clarke, her mother is not mentioned.
Then there's the Graysons. Victoria, Conrad, and their kids, Daniel and Charlotte.
Finally, the Porters. They have a dad, dunno his name, who dies quite early. Their mother is missing? Two sons, Jack and Declan.
As of Season 1 episode 13:
Daniel and Emily are dating
David and Victoria dated, and spoke about merging their families, which would have made Daniel and Emily step-siblings
Victoria's daughter is called Charlotte. Her biological father is David, so Daniel and Emily share a sibling.
Charlotte is dating Declan. His brother, Jack, is dating "Amanda", or, in fact, the woman impersonating Jack's childhood sweetheart. Jack also had a crush on Emily, his brother's girlfriend's half sister.
Sure things are going to get more incesty and bonkers
(why this header? This was the single best revenge moment of the decade, perhaps the century. That's why)
Revenge. A sweet, sour, complex and simple goal of any character or any story. Revenge can be chalked down to the bare bones of a character retaliating against another for a perceived insult of crime, of which the character cannot forget or forgive. So how do we write an effective revenge story? In this post we will be looking at 4 of my favourite revenge stories: Batman, Six of Crows, Revenge (TV series) and Game of Thrones.
In the Beginning
The audience needs to understand why your characters are going down this path. Your character must face a wrong, either onto somebody close to them or onto themselves. But usually, for the audience to feel root for your character, the character in question usually has to be innocent. They have to be the innocent party in the entire mess.
Batman: Bruce Wayne watches his parents get murdered in front of him in a mugging home wrong.
Six Of Crows: Kaz Brekker watches his brother die and almost dies himself due to them being fleeced by a conartist out their last money.
Revenge: Amanda Clarke is torn apart from her father after he's falsely accused of a terrorist act which leaves her shunned by society
Game of Thrones: Elia Martell and her children are violently murdered by the Mountain.
The Payback
The heart of a revenge story is how your character wants to pay the villain back for their doings. The audience will need to understand your character's motives and what they want out of their plans. This is also a great way to show your character's traits and how they think. A character's blueprint for revenge doesn't necessarily have to be a long winded one or even complicated.
Batman: Bruce wants to clean up Gotham and prevent crime. To do this, he becomes the madked vigilante Batman.
Six Of Crows: Kaz wants to make Pekka understand how losing everything feels. To do this, he plans to methodically strip away everything that Pekka holds near and dear.
Revenge: Amanda wants the people who framed her father to pay for their role in his downfall and her subsequent terrible childhood. To do this she follows an elaborate plan to target every single one of the conspirators on detailed personal revenges.
Game of Thrones: The Martells want justice for their Princess and her children. To do this, the Martells want to overthrow the current Lannister regime and watch Tywin Lannister die.
The Justice Vs Vengeance Dichotomy
How far is too far? While taking revenge is frowned upon by many religions or moral communities or society it still remains one of the most desired things of all mankind. We carve an ending to things but most of us believe in balance. If your character is to be the hero of their story, they need to understand where the line between justice and vengeance stands. Beyond that line, and the hero and villain may not seem as different as they ought to be.
Batman: Bruce has a strict no killing policy. He doesn't ever kill Joe Chill (the guy who actually shot the Waynes) nor Lew Moxon (the guy behind the murder). He pays back their crimes by trying to rid Gotham of crime.
Six Of Crows: Kaz manages to disarm Pekka Rollins, taking away his status, his money, his businesses and all the while, not harming anybody Pekka cares about (he does make Pekka think he did, but in the end its a ploy)
Revenge: Amanda manages to clear her father's name yet however she does end up doing too far on multiple occasions. Frankly, how she treats Daniel and Charlotte is appalling despite them being as innocent as herself.
Game of Thrones: Years after the death of Elia, her brother Oberyn faces the Mountain in a duel which he loses. Oberyn's daughters, the Sand Snakes each want a different revenge. Obara wants to burn Oltown. Nymeria wants to kill the man who ordered the death of her aunt (which in turn led to her father's death) Tywin, his children and grandchildren. Tyene wants to spark a war between Dorne and the Iron Throne which would cost thousands of lives. Thankfully, their Uncle Doran has a better plan.
The Cycle of Revenge
Revenge begets Revenge. One wrong doesn't make a right. No revenge tale can truly end until the hero understands that the best revenge is to let the grudge die. Revenge, though cathardic, can harm a character and those around them. There has to be a human cost to revenge, a price to pay for the vendetta.
Batman: Bruce foisted his lifestyle upon on his adopted children which leads to some rifts between he and them.
Six of Crows: Kaz had a tunnel view of his revenge for quite a while which has distanced himself from his friends and love interest, he's slowly building up those relations now.
Revenge: Amanda's plans effectively ruin the lives of everyone who comes in contact with them, from the Graysons to their staff and even Amanda's own friends and family.
