the dark artifices has so many moments that just floor me. when diana opens up to gwyn and he tells her she’s the bravest woman he’s ever met and gently asks, Can I hold you? when kieran feels betrayed and mark kneels in front of him to ask for forgiveness and tells him I love you, I wish you could believe me. when julian says to emma “I’ll love you if I never touch you” and emma thinks, I love you more than starlight. kieran telling mark “you are all that exists on the earth and under the sky that I do love.” julian telling dru that “you’re the heart of this family”. ty and kit being each other’s reasons to stay. livvy’s protectiveness over ty; livvy telling julian she wants to be like him. kierarktina dancing together and all being stunned after. there is just such fierce and fragile love in this series in so many different forms, i’m so soft for all of them

Okay but actually. I like the idea of shadowhunters being retired as an occupation. I think thematically it makes sense. The whole series has been a history of shadowhunters, their failings and their triumphs. Ending that story with the princes of hell conquered and demons closed off from the world, leaving shadowhunters to become simply nephilim, living among the “downworlders” as magical creatures on equal footing?? I think that would be great. No more need for a magical cop system, finally ending in equality.

I know this is probably unrealistic but I really want Ash to bond with the Fairchilds in TWP. I want Dru to somehow get Ash back to Shadowhunter Academy and for Luke and Jocelyn to adopt him as their grandson. Like how we got Jace and Kit bonding I want some Ash and Aunt Clary bonding. Maybe him even adopting the Fairchild last name.

I want Ash and Kit to become friends (they would he powerful as hell parabatai if they were on the same side). But also for the symbolism of it. Like we know that Kit’s Herondale ring was originally James’ and if Ash somehow got Matthew’s Fairchild ring I would cry and cry.

It's finally time for our queen! Dru is one of, if not my favorit tsc character, I absolutely adore her and that's why it was literally so. much. fun to do this!

I went on Canva as soon as I got home and finished these graphics (they were lying around in my drafts for months). I'm actually really happy with these and hope you enjoy it as well!

No, you don't understand. "Love means you see someone, that's all" is such an important quote. For both, Dru and Ty.

Like, throughout TDA Dru felt invisible. Too young to fight but old enough to feel left aside. She's resolved to put herself in danger on her own if that means she can help in any way that matters. Even in TWP she hides her panic attacks, and probably so many other ways her trauma affected her.

And Ty, he dreams of being a detective and solving mysteries. He's always been the one trying to understand the world, but the only people who ever tried to understand him were his family.

They both see. They both are comfortable and used to it. But to be seen? I bet it's gonna be pretty epic.
