Surprising no one, I haven't read Ander & Santi or The Fae Keeper yet. I have an issue with leaving series unread because I put off reading finales unless I'm marathoning. Case in point: The Fae Keeper. I have no good reason for not reading it yet, but it's not the only one. I haven't finished The Dreamer Trilogy, The Aurora Cycle, the Willow Creek Ren Faire series, among others.

Hello, Tumblr!

I haven't been on here in a good 10 years, but... I am back and ready to connect with some new people!

My name is Skye Quinlan (they/them pronouns, please!), and I am the author of Forward March, a queer YA novel about high school band geeks! It released earlier this year on March 22nd from Page Street Kids, and you can find it anywhere books are sold!

I'm super excited that (from the looks of it) a lot of authors are starting to migrate back to Tumblr. I used to be a part of Tumblr's reptile community when I was younger, and I'm still friends with a lot of the people I met there! I also really, really miss shit-posting about random things and reblogging stuff that looks neat!

one of the things i love about the show is like.

in s1 he's supposed to save this terrible team from relegation, but oops it's a taller order than anticipated and oops maybe he's not quite okay himself

in s2 he slumps back through the door with his tail between his legs and has to admit yeah maybe he fucked some things because yeah maybe his father damaged him a little more than he wanted to say and okay okay, maybe he's actually got a lot of work to do

in s3 he's putting the work in. he's making changes in himself, he's facing his problems and he's doing so well with it that he.....has a complete emotional breakdown. because hey uh *nervous laughter* what do you do once you start letting go of your maladaptive coping mechanisms?? haha no seriously haha how do you be okay now??? and the man he loves has no idea how to help him and can only try to be present with him while he struggles and tries to figure it all out. and ultimately he has to fucking rally and he's gotta pick his whole self up and tell people thank you and tell people fuck you and make the daily choice to move forward with his life.

*Minor Spoilers* I need everyone to read this story and marvel at the fact that this is the author's first fic! I am astounded by the quality of this story. It's cinematic, clever, and creative. It constructs a world that fits seamlessly into the canon while introducing its own truly interesting concepts. If you're looking for a Season Three "what if", this is a must-read!

Our story starts immediately after the Final 15. Aziraphale arrives in Heaven and already things are suspicious. I really love that this story goes with the route of taking things mostly at face value. It's not until the Second Coming line that Aziraphale truly kicks into gear, fully understanding the threat he's under. Crowley meanwhile finds himself in Tadfield, where a 15 year old Adam Young is in desperate need of some guidance. I won't spoil the plot; it's best experienced as it unfolds. This is a long story, but the pacing and plotting are brilliant, the time will fly by so easily. I read way past the time I was supposed to stop without even realizing it!

The characterizations are all excellent here. Adam in particular is one of the best uses I've seen with him. There is a character introduced that he will parallel with beautifully. Both placed into positions they did not ask for, tasked with things they do not want, and burdened with unbearable responsibility. It was a really insightful bit of characterization, and made me look at that "new" character in a way I never have before. Adam's new relationship with Crowley was such a beautiful and heartwarming plotline. He needed Crowley in his life, to help guide him, to understand his powers, and how he fits into the world. Crowley needed him just as much.

Crowley and Aziraphale's characterizations are top notch as well. It was effortless to read this in their voices, and just be prepared for this story's 1941...ouch. Actually a lot of what Aziraphale went through here broke my heart. This story creates a phenomenon called, "The Void." It's as ominous as it sounds, and puts Aziraphale through the ringer. As much as it hurt, it was also a really interesting concept. I'm so relived that Aziraphale will be taken care of now.

Seriously, what an excellent story this was. This is a more action based plot, and every twist and turn kept me right on my toes. Safe in public, and while there's some hints of angst, it's not a heavy story. If this is what a first fic can be, I can't wait to read this author's second!

This is a story that I've held very close to my heart since coming up with the concept last year. It is by far the hardest project I've ever worked on, mostly terms of how personal it is and how much of myself I'm leaving on the page.

I'm not allowed to tell y'all when it's coming, just that it is, and I cannot wait for everyone to read this book.

I MADE A GUIDE for the hard mode of the legend of the underworld minigame on twst!!! :D i'd been stuck on it for MONTHS before a moot let me know that you can move the boat while paused and hiding the menu, and i wanted to share the knowledge for anyone that's also been stuck and suffering from completionist brain!!

the full image is very large, so you'll need to download it to view it, but i've created a map, added notes of how many lanes i move at a time, what manner i move in (regular speed or while paused), etc! both achievements are possible to beat with this route, and i highly recommend taking ur time while moving so u don't lose a good run!

all rock assets can vary from play to play, so the flames are your best landmark along the way! i wish everyone still stuck the very best of luck, if this helps even one person i'll be over the moon <3
