No one in unordinary has a backstory (besides the obvious exception) so here’s my two cents (headcanons) on Arlo’s history

He was born out of wedlock (I promise this is relevant to The Way That He Is in canon)

When his parents met his father was a middle aged very influential government official who did make a bit of an effort to be in Arlo’s life, but had a whole nother family. Arlo was primarily raised by his mom during his early childhood. Arlo’s ability comes from his fathers side, and val is his paternal aunt

Arlo’s father tries to be affectionate, genial old man, but. He’s just quintessentially unprepared to help raise a young child. He’s also in his 70s during canon so he’s very out of touch to what Arlo’s life is even like. Arlo is mostly just standoffishly polite to him

Arlos mother was a broke college student when he was born. She felt like a failure for getting pregnant before doing anything with her life, so she kind of unconsciously externalized that onto arlo- “if I raise this child to successfully enough, I won’t have failed as a parent and as a person”

She was unyieldingly strict and demanding at all times. She always pushed him to get stronger, to raise himself in the hierarchy because it was her way of proving that she was doing something valuable. She loves him, but maybe not as much as the idea of him. I don’t think she was abusive, but certainly just. Not a Good Mom

It kinda works out for them because arlo inherits his dads power and absolutely excels at it. He measures himself by hierarchy but it hasn’t destroyed his self esteem because. Turns out he’s pretty great at hierarchy actually

At some point Arlo’s mom sends him to live full time with his dad because he can provide so many more opportunities for him. It’s a pretty cushy lifestyle

Arlo has 3 half siblings from his dads side that are all MUCH older than him, like 14 years older at the youngest (in canon they are all in their 30s)

In his early childhood they all really resented him for ruining their parents’ marriage. His mom tried to keep him away from that shit, but it got into his brain a bit. His method of dealing with it (like in canon) is just. Repression repression repression baby!! Can’t have problems if you just fight people about them. He inherits his moms perspective on hierarchy: no one can judge you if you’re the most powerful person in the room

Val was the one person on his fathers side that really tried to form a relationship with him which is why he looks up to her so much. Whether it’s because she actually cares about him or it’s because she thought he’d end up as a valuable resource, well. Arlo certainly believes the former

His now grown ass adult siblings regret being shitty to him. They try to reach out and reconnect now but Arlo is Arlo about it and just brushes them off

Arlo ends up the tallest and the most powerful of all his siblings

His mom ends up remarrying and starting her own family too. She gets happiness. She changes from that bad parent from the earlier parts of his childhood and tries to fix things. She’s been able to move on from the toxic mindset she raised him with, but he’s still stuck there with the trauma she’s given him.

Arlo’s kind of stranded between 2 happy families and he deals with it by!! Pretending the only life he has is the one at wellston. He throws himself into his duties as King and ignores everything else

i give up here are stand pathology headcanons with diagrams

mfw people saying that sci fi-ing things sucks all the fun out of them but sci fi is fun for me

ANYWAYS heres my dirt, nothing too gnarly in the diagrams! If I don't clarify some stuff well enough, feel free to ask and I'll clarify as best I can!

Part 1: What Is A Stand?

I can explain.

SO

The base of what we know about Stands in canon, according to Vento Aureo, is that they are a retrovirus of extraterrestrial origin!

What's a retrovirus? A little bundle of proteins that float around trying to hijack the way that DNA replicates itself- basically, it replaces our instruction manual with its own. The meteor and the arrow, for one reason or another, allows these little Stand cells to live on it until they pierce something.

According to Vento Aureo, on getting pierced with the arrow: you either die (in a little nasty way), or get a Stand.

Interesting takeaways on the nature of Stands from Stardust Crusaders, courtesy of Mohammed Avdol:

If one person is pierced with an arrow, their descendants will be impacted, in the form of developing the Stand or the sickness. I don't have enough brain cells to try to bullshit an explanation for that one.

The illness: takes roughly 50 days to be fatal, starts on the back, grows on the body, symptoms will involve a fever that progresses to "other symptoms," followed by a coma and death.

There appears to be some kind of gestation period: Dio was shot with the arrow about 1-2 years before Jotaro and Holly develop the stands (jojo timeline help). Joseph developed Hermit Purple 1 year before Jotaro got Splat.

The "gestation period" can arguably be backed up by Koichi, who survived his own stand by virtue of Crazy Diamond- Echoes first emerges as an egg!

Harming the Stand will harm the user, and Stands can vary highly in range.

They are variable in nature- some can exist entirely independently, even continuing to live within items that the user made. DiU and Stone Ocean have very unique examples of the varying levels of a Stand's independence.

Leading to an interesting point: developing a Stand, as opposed to the illness, will not guarantee that you survive your Stand. Examples include Cheap Trick and Notorious BIG. That said, other Stands will allow you to retain consciousness after death, such as Atom Heart Father (for better or worse).

(Things that I pressed X to Doubt: Avdol comments that Stands revolve around "fighting spirit," but he has been heavily exposed to assassins, who both leave financial paper trails and have body counts. Furthermore, Dio and Enya, individuals going bananas with the arrow, were exclusively looking for recruits for battle. There is mayhaps a smidge of sampling bias.)

Interesting takeaways from the Greenland meteor include:

IN CONTRAST TO THE SICKNESS! The Arrow will kill you a lot faster. We don't have an exact timeframe for how long meteor exposure took, but it seems that at bare minimum, the mineral surveyors, "dying looking like tomato sauce," didn't have a "slow fever, coma, death" presentation.

This is extremely interesting when you take into account that when the first person to be exposed to the virus dies, the Stand illness that shoots down generationally will resolve itself (sometimes leaving a stand: no information on Holly, but Josuke retained Crazy Diamond).

So, someone who gets hit with the Arrow or exposed to the meteor will either gain a Stand or swiftly die- should they have descendants, it's likely that on the death of the Arrow hit, these descendants may develop a Stand (if they were ill to begin with). Either way, there is a decent chance of a Stand remaining.

Other interesting things: Stands can exist entirely independently of users: Anubis and Superfly are good examples.

Back to the question of what a Stand is: I believe that the Stand is not necessarily a virus that infects another extraterrestrial organism, but that it is itself an extraterrestrial that has the option of behaving like a virus.

What do I mean by option?

If there are any fungi and siphonophore fans here, raise hands!

My headcanon is that, in essence, a Stand is an alien that has multiple means of reproduction, and can behave in a manner similar to both fungi and siphonophores. AKA, viral and budding being the primary means.

Viral basically allows the Stand to develop via a host. You are independent strands of proteins that migrate to the optic nerve and swiftly become active in producing proteins to create the building blocks actual Stand- they "stand behind you" because they poke out of the central nervous system. The formation of the stand comes of a mixture of any sensory stimuli to the nervous system while forming, any forming memories (similar to the visuals of dreams), and the general structure of your CNS.

Pros: Saves time, development of sentience is optional, your host does all the work of looking for danger and fighting for your mutual survival.

Cons: you're a stupid space virus who's trying to Build A You out of popsicle sticks and glue so you might kill your host to death. Also, you might trip your host's immune system, causing the Stand sickness again, which kills your host to death.

Visual Symptoms There's VERY few ways to firmly differentiate Stand virus from anything else without biopsy, however! The optic nerve and occipital lobe are the first place to gain these little areas of Stand that are responsible for the ability to process a Stand visually. Unlike your auditory processing, the Stand migrates and is active here- there's no real need for it, as stands can be utilized fine without sight (you don't really need use of sensory organs to have/develop a Stand, those nerves are just where the virus happens to set up camp). A lot of viral cells park and conglomerate here to make "Stand." On SOME occasions, for no real reason that can be understood (seems to be coincidence), the cells will begin just. Creating these deep, deep blue pigment molecules (along with the proteins they're making)- most commonly, they can be found in the choroid coat (it's a red jacket for ur eye that feeds it) and the sclera. Pigment producing viral cells have also presented in the tunica externa of the facial artery (literally just the outer coating of the artery), and the optic artery. By and large, this doesn't really produce any symptoms outside of production of that pigment, but if you were to look at the central nervous system of some people with Stands, you might actually see patches of dark blue where that pigment molecule started being produced.

This in that altered shade of sclera seen in people like Risotto, as well Avdol and Geil's facial markings- initially, it's almost like a prominence or very specific bruising, but the actuality is that the outermost layer of their arteries have deep blue pigment!

Being born with Stand means that you do in fact have more time to start a Stand from scratch, and it takes a little bit for the viral cells to wake up to the fact that you're in the world now. Additionally, they have grown alongside you and your blastula!

Getting stabbed with one or directly exposed via meteor means that you just get an influx of cells all at once, which immediately POG at you, who are so rich in nutrients, and your Stand gets built in overtime! If you don't have Crazy Diamond nearby, this is really bad. Slow and steady building Stands are kinder and gentler on people.

Anyways, budding!

Budding is where a) no option for a host exists and b) enough food. As opposed to spitting out free floating protein, the Stand proteins link up and begin to produce specialized colonies. They can look like whatever they damn well please, but often form sensory organs first in the interest of blending in with whatever they will be Hash Tag Coexisting with. After "mapping" out their form using buds that make this weird cartilaginous blueprint, they Build Dude. T End result is obligated to be sentient! There's no real difference between a bud Stand who mimicked a human person and a human person: for my John Carpenter's Thing fans, imagine that the Thing was like. Forced to not plagiarize, do its own work instead of assimilating, and just eat enough to formulate its own guy cells from scratch. Mikitaka is an example- very little functional difference between the end result of virus or budding, except that he and his Stand are basically one and the same. Took him a while to grow, but y'know. He lives in Morioh. He's a normal high schooler, just sprouted a little differently. Pros: You exist in space, you can do whatever you want. Get a job, carry ice cream in your pockets, the world is your damn oyster. The Stand virus also can't do anything to you. Additionally, you can pretty much digest anything. Cons: Takes a really long time, takes a lot of energy, hence the ability to basically digest anything. The construction of a full working nervous system from scratch takes for fucking ever.

Abilities

The variation in their abilities is a mixture of their intake of stimuli (as they are parked in the nervous system) and literally anything that a human brain can conceive as a thing that makes us go "WHOA!" They're intended to be defensive measures, but as mentioned, they are stupid virus aliens, so they sort of just throw things at the wall and some of it sticks.

Some people can go their entire lives without knowing that they have stands, because the abilities are just weird and specific. Tonio only unlocked his after extensive journeys as a chef. What do you want from the guy. Some Stands don't even start building for some reason, so they just chill out in there.

ANYWAYS! tldr, Stands are a siphonophore-virus-aliens like John Carpenter's Thing that are trying to live, just like you and me :)

I personally didn’t like stone ocean not because it was bad, or for any kind of quality reason, but purely because it was the end of that entire universe.

I knew that going into it, and knowing that part 7 was taking place in a whole new universe I expected so much more out of it. Some kind of conclusion that would answer at least some of the questions, and ending that would have brought in the other jojos. Instead it just made me feel that parts 4 and 5 had no value on the overall story, that none of that had any effect on anything. Realistically you could ignore parts 4 and 5 and the overall story would be the same. It would still end in the same place and you’d be pretty much fine in understanding what is going on.

To explain better, part 2 built off part one. It gave us an explanation for the stone masks and why they do what they do. Part 3 built off part 1 and 2 by giving us characters and making the fight against Dio generational. Part 4 built off of part 3 by explaining stands further as well as characters from part 3. Part 5 just expanded stands, and 2 character cameos, but gives off the vibe that it’s the beginning of Giornos story, and that he will do so much more. But part 6 just builds off of part 3, giving us no conclusion to the build up of part 4 and 5. Not even in cameos, except for in the manga where he mentions in a description that he didn’t forget about Giorno.

All of this ranting, and in research I had just learned that the original ending for part 6 got canned and changed to what we got, which probably is why I’m so unreasonably upset by it.

Also also, since it’s sort of canon that Jolene and Josuke met before I’m triple pissed. Everything was set for this to be the best part of the og 6 and it just ended so unsatisfyingly

Like I honestly can’t exactly choose one thing, what makes Josuke my No.1 fave JoJo is the result of different traits of his character and how it’s utilized that makes him super appealing to me as a character

But i think the entire concept of his character is what makes him the best JoJo to me

Like you got this bastard son of Joseph who’s only lived with his mom and grandpa as his only family, and who’s up to meeting Jotaro, lived an almost normal life (y’know aside the one time he almost died from a fever and manifested a stand afterwards which nobody else seemed to have like he does)

The idea of Crazy Diamond being Josuke’s stand is so heartwarming when its special ability is to restore/fix things, making it good for healing people too, and with how stands reflect their users it’s so nice to think of how it reflects Josuke’s never ending kindness

I especially love how Josuke’s never ending kindness is contrasted by his emotional unpredictability and his equally never ending rage and anger, like the boi got those destructive mood swings like damn (and i have so many thoughts as to why that is but this is not the ask for that shhshshgz) but I’m going to be completely honest, I literally would rather be ORAed by Star Platinum into a hospital bed than ever be at the receiving end of Josuke’s rage (like his rage is legitimately terrifying, Jotaro himself doesn’t scare me like Josuke does dhdggd)

For a delinquent like Josuke you’d think he’d be a bit reserved about showing too much emotion, yet you have him wearing his heart on his sleeve, he doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him, he’s confident and isn’t ashamed to be who he is, all while being protective and caring for his family and friends and having the ability to bounce back when he experiences something bad which is really nice to see

All that combined with Josuke being a teen making him extremely reckless and stubborn at times, as well as having a heartwarming backstory for why he gets extremely angry when someone insults his hair, it just makes Josuke an extremely unique, likable and fun character

Watching Josuke trying to live his life as the teen he is while still needing to deal with the Joestar family curse (all while having the “I’m a Higashikata first, a Joestar second” attitude which i love so much) and dealing with stand users bullshit as he’s trying to catch a serial killer was a unique experience, and I believe Josuke is one of the biggest reasons that made pt4 my fave

And I especially adore when i see artworks/fics that explore Josuke’s relationships with his friends and family (like Josuke and Gio fics/artworks!) or explore the more darker/angsty side of the things he experienced (Kira, his grandpa,etc) and how it affects him cause let’s be honest, Josuke isn’t completely unscathed both physically and mentally, but he’s still strong willed and emotionally intelligent

I chose Max because I agreed with a few other headcanons! Max, during his performances as Itto and Ryuji, has a very playful and mischievous tone of voice and as Saitama, he can perfect a voice that’s nonchalant, a bit bored, and blunt which summarizes Ace as a whole. When thinking of Saitama, I remembered his scream when he punched Vaccine Man with one punch and got mad and when he told Genos to get to the point, and that could fit with Ace as he signed a contract with Azul and had a sea anemone growing out of his head and got crushed by a cauldron.

Deuce Spade — Johnny Yong Bosch

Personally, as a girl who loves both TRIGUN shows, I loved the way Johnny performed; as Vash in both versions, he maintained a kind and gentle voice while also being silly and giving out the best surprised shouts or nervous chuckles at the right moments. This would make Deuce very memorable as Deuce has a bit of Vash’s personality towards his friends but still maintains a little of his delinquency from his past and acts more of a tough guy when certain challenges arise such as when his opportunity to play in Spelldrive came, but after playing Ichigo, I doubt that would be an issue to give a rough voice.

Trey Clover — Alejandro Saab

This was another one I agreed with as Alejandro is the king of voice range! Trey is the calmest yet one of the firmest vice housewardens, and sometimes can go out of character a bit when it comes to brushing teeth. Alejandro fits this as I heard him play the most serious yet punniest Genshin Impact character, Cyno, who breaks character to break the tension in the room through jokes, but he is also capable of being a gentle soul who comforts like Miyamura or someone as calculating and diligent as Jing Yuan in Honkai Star Rail.

Cater Diamond — Kaiji Tang

Most known for:

Osamu Dazai in Bungo Stray Dogs

Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen

Gengo in Naruto Shippuden

I won’t lie; finding Cater’s voice actor was difficult until I stumbled upon Kaiji who voices Osamu and Gojo, two playful and supernaturally powerful men with quips and mischief. When Osamu said thanks to Chuuya after telling him to go into enemy fire to die, I knew this fit Cater too well as Osamu, like Cater, is depressed but keeps a smile on his face with a fun, joking tone with any situation, and like Gojo, Cater is a bit flirty (not womanizer flirty). Although he might have a little more of a feminine sounding voice because it is canon in the Japanese version that he is bisexual, I'm sure it would still be fitting to have Kaiji as his actor.

Not only was Billy Kametz talented with line delivery, but he brings out the personality of his character that playing Riddle would have been magnificent. It is unfortunate that he passed on, but I still appreciate his work. What really made me choose him for Riddle was his performance as Anai in the Sanrio anime Aggretsuko because Anai was one to get easily sensitive over everything, feeling as if he was being personally attacked because he didn't like how one of his coworkers phrased their words to him. Because Billy played such a stickler, his voice would have suited Riddle in better ways than imagined with other voice actors, especially when he gets upset or angry or even overblots.

Okay I'm going to drop some Haru development Lore™ for y'all. I have had Haru for at least 5 years and he originated within a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure roleplau with my friend @magicshadowkitten which primarily took place within Part 4. Haruko had recently graduated highschool and was back for the summer within Morioh where he and The Squad™ worked together through the events of Part 4 and eventually he ended up dating Josuke. It was an adorable roleplay and holds a genuine place in my heart as one of the best long rp's I've had. I think it lasted at least a year? Either way *chefs kiss*. And I genuinely consider it canonical to Haru's back story (granted the name and events slightly changed, no stands sad life) but the relationships he had in that roleplay shaped him so much as a character and so - I guess with a heavy heart I say that Haru's first seriously relationship was Josuke Fucking Higashikata.

⎯⎯⎯⎯ 💥 What was their worst relationship?

Not sure if we're speaking in general or romantic, he hasn't really had many bad romantic relationships - most he actually screwed up himself. However in terms of in general, I'll be referring to the above answer when I say that during the Part 4 roleplay he was a part time hand model and Kira Yoshikage was stalking him. Obsessive and weird, and horny for hands- unhealthy all over.

P4, I don't think I could switch josuke for the world I love him so much. But I will say kochi feels very similar to Pol in that he takes a very front of stage type of character. Doing a lot of the fights and having some very important and serious character development and introducing the acts concept so good.

P5? 100% I'd replace giorno with Trish. I've said thus a 100 times but Trish would have been way more compelling for the main character. Like you remove giorno from the plot and hardly anything changes. But the story is about Trish, she should have had a much more forward roll in being apart of the plot, like yes she is there and a driving factor. But she should have gotten to do way more...

Really in the end I think mostly beside p5. No matter what I feel about the main jojo. They do FIT and mold and work the plot the best a lot of the time. Each guy truly feels built like a heart for each part if that makes sense and isn't cringe sounding?

Hi hello yess 🧡

This one is a weird one. It's a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fic written in English, focused on Jotaro and Josuke (Part 4) with a side of josujota and hinted josuyasu, and it has tied-in comic strips in Japanese which focus on Okuyasu. It's a canon divergent au set in 2008, in which Jotaro and Josuke are sent on the trail of a potential Stand-using seral killer in Europe.

It's very, very long—currently standing at 120K and 8 comics strips. The story is split into four arcs and a quarter of Part III's done, so this is probably going to be 200K+ (it was supposed to be 40K) and with at least 6 other comic strips.

The premise of it is that in '99, Joseph Joestar sent Polnareff to Morioh instead of Jotaro and made him sworn to keep it a secret; basically Jotaro has no idea Josuke is his uncle, but Josuke knows. The fic is set in various countries (where I've either lived or traveled several times), and each part deals with specific themes!

I love, love working on this because it's potentially the most personal side project I've had in years. I'm dealing with many different topics I have no other spaces to work on as freely as I do here. Some of them, though, are highly sensitive, and need to be handled carefully (notably homesickness and the sensation of estrangement from one's first culture, or the persisting stigma of untouchability, here with burakumin).

And between all that I have some will-they-won't-they incestuous identity porn, with Higashikata 'I am openly queer in the 2000s but only when I'm not home and nobody knows me, and I may or may not avoid going back to Japan because I'm in love with my best friend' Josuke not-flirting with Kujo 'I abandoned my daughter; every night I try to justify this to myself without success, and also I think I'm turning into my father but I don't know how to stop it' Jotaro. And all the comic strips are about Okuyasu, i.e. his life as not quite an outcast yet too unconventional to be fully accepted within Japanese society, and his most joyous hobbies—which include: smoking cigarettes; sending international text messages to Josuke; keeping Josuke's postcards in a box he opens every weekend; and reading Josuke's letters in his kitchen. Fun!

Anyway, rambling done: I put a lot of love in this story, and it's grown into such a weird and personal thing that I don't think I'll ever post it—because I believe I'm not the right person to tell this story the way I want it to be told. I do want to finish everything little by little though!

Oh I forgot to say: the title Lightning Tribe comes from a childhood memory. I had a neighbor whose son had LIGHTNING TRIBE written in big yellow letters on the back of his leather jacket. Josuke is fairly decent, but okuyasu, you know how in math, if you multiply a negative number with a positive one it is always negative, that is josuyasu for you. Josuke has 6 braincells and Okuyasu has -6734. Their first meeting was okuyasu trying to kill josuke, then he shows up at his house a few days later and goes "hey lets go to school! btw your mom is hot!" Josuke punches a plate of spaghetti because he thinks the chef is evil, they both fight a middle schooler who stole their cash. Okuyasu got the third most op ability in his part but he is too stupid (and kind) to realize it. Somehow they survive their entire part. They are thus far the second jojo and jobro duo to not lose each other. the second one? THEM IN AN ALTERNATIVE UNIVERSE! (okay but okuyasu is swapped for koichi in that one, but still).

Josuke normally is pretty smart, but somewhat silly, but Okuyasu. Isn’t incredibly bright but he’s the best jojo character idc. Okuyasu brings out josukes stupid and then they are just besties and totally bouncing off each other’s stupid ideas. Idk what Okuyasu does to josukes brain but I’m here for it

Alright so I got some splain'n to do.

I have had the login info for this page for the past year. I have known I have had the login information for the past year. I have not used the login information in the past year.

And I'm gonna be honest that's just been to a complete and utter lack of wanting to write anything on Tumblr at all.

And then I started an IRLPokemon blog. And for some reason did not use this blog to be the main blog for that. Probably because I realized if I did, I would never actually use it.

But now, I have a new computer, and one that has only one browser installed. And that browser only has this Tumblr account linked to it.

I may be turning 22 this year, but I don't think it's too late to get back into this.

However... There's some changes.

More than a few of my sideblogs, I never use. I have never used them, and I have no real desire to use them. To be frank they were just there because I Started writing the characters in an RP server on Discord, and I never actually considered writing them on Tumblr outside of "new blog go brrr."

Because of this, I will be doing some pruning.

This is the state of all my current blogs.

grim-grinner, mini-manakete, fer-ma-fer-glory, and loving-nightmare are defunct as of today. I still write them, but they're all connected to my Heroes Summoner already, so having their own blogs makes little sense. Henry, Nowi, Donnel, and Freyja will be moved over to gun-summoner, where they belong.

monado-iii is, if I'm being honest, an extreme roadblock to actually getting back into writing on Tumblr. I don't write Shulk near as much as I used to. I grew to love the character, yes, but it is always in the back of my head that the only reason I wrote him to begin with is that there was no one in the Smash RP community writing him and I was just filling a gap. This blog will be archived. If I feel the muse for him again off of discord, I will bring him back, but he is not a priority as of right now.

My "Laytonverse" blogs look-at-my-badge, rhythm-king, and no-puzzle-unsolved will be consolidated just under one blog. Given that look-at-my-badge is the only one that actually has any writing on it, that will be the blog that Layton and Raphael are moving to. The blog's name will be changed to reflect this, but I don't know what I will change it to.

duwang--gang, txtris-king, redmont-ranger, pxinted-hero, and dash-and-slash are defunct as of today. There are reasons for all of these.

I don't write Okuyasu, Koichi, Rohan, or Jotaro. The only Jojo characters I actually write are Josuke (rarely) and Jonathan (even more rarely). So the name already makes no sense. It's also gone unused since 2020, so it's not like it's gonna be missed.

I write Tee very rarely, and if I'm being honest there is like, no Puyo Puyo RP Scene I can find.

Will is a very passive character, so him having his own RP blog makes no sense. Also, there is literally no Ranger's Apprentice RP scene out there, and trying to get people to interact with a book character in general, much less a YA protag, is a Sisyphean task.

I don't really write Link on Discord anymore, much less Tumblr. He's like, a nonary muse at best now.

I have not seriously used Specter Knight as a muse since before this became a hub blog instead of an RP blog, which I wasn't even out of high school. No one is going to miss him.

OC Crew time!

My OC blogs are children-of-valm, wyverntribe, redeemed-professor, gun-summoner, yiga-banana, and mxdern-mage, and I have... things to say here.

children-of-valm will stay. It is a blog with characters near and dear to my heart, as all of these characters (sans the canon ones obviously) were created by both myself and my now-girlfriend. So I will not be removing this blog.

WyvernTribe is in the same boat, though without the "Girlfriend helped make her" part. Erix is a character I have strong passion in writing. The one thing keeping her from being moved to another blog to cut down on blog space is because her story doesn't really work with either Kiran or the Awakening muses.

Byleth... I don't know how I will handle him. His blog will stay for now, if only because he's an actually original take on the character, at least compared to the game.

Kiran will stay. Obviously. I need him to host the other FE blogs, he couldn't go even if he wanted to. Man's one of my primary muses.

Sasha, my Yiga OC, is on thin ice. The person I wrote my Yiga Shenanigans with has since deactivated, and she's got a very tight-knit Yiga Clan to work with made with myself and some friends. So I will have her blog archived, on the chance that an opportunity presents itself to actually let her be used again.

Kyla... Kyla... I do not know about Kyla. She was once one of my main muses, back when I was a kid and didn't have the confidence to write characters that had canon personalities. She's been with me my entire RPing journey, even before I had a Tumblr account, much less this Tumblr account. So there is a large part of me that does not want to let her go. But at the same time... I know that she's evolved far past how she is here. She's evolved so many times over the years, it's hard to go back to how she used to be. She's gone from an Undertale OC, to a general OC, to now being a party member in a story for a game I hopefully will get to make one day, with an entire character arc from there. I think for Kyla... The best option is for her to be retired. As a character, she just does not match who she once was, and if she's going to experience this volatile of a change between her interpretations I can't justify keeping her on an RP blog, especially not one to herself. It's not fair to me, and it's not fair to writing partners.

Now. Those of you who know how many damn blogs I have know that this isn't every blog I have. I still have yet to mention Steve, the Mega Man Killers, Shantae, or Kaladin. Well, I will now mention Steve, The Mega Man Killers, Shantae, and Kaladin.

Steve, over at @rocks-the-block, will stay. I will not back out of my promise just because I need to do some trimming. Steve's a riot to write, and he's my sole Tumblr-exclusive muse. Not to mention due to his mostly lighthearted nature, he's extremely easy to write asks as.

Shantae, over at @halfgeniefullhero, is also staying. She's one of my personal favorite characters to write, but she's a bit more high energy than some of the others.

The Mega Man Killers Enker, Ballade, and Punk over at @mega-man-hunters will be staying, but will remain low activity. To be honest I have no idea what the Mega Man RP community is like anymore due to my extended hiatus, so I need to stay back a bit, and actually watch and see before throwing them in again.

Kaladin, over at @stormblessedknight, is not only staying, he will be getting friends. Turns out I like writing a lot more Cosmere characters than just our eternally depressed bridgeboy. Who knew reading the rest of the books would make me want to write more characters from the books? I will reveal those characters at a later date, but just know that among them, there is at least one Mistborn character, and at least one Elantris character. Unlike Will, I do not care that there is next to no Stormlight RP scene. I will make one if I have to. They're also open to Multiverse shenanigans!

I will not disclose who the blog will be for, or if it will only be for one character or not. I will say though, that having an announcement of a new blog when I just had to remove a ton of the others sounds a bit delusional... maybe I just need to... Face Myself.

Jotaro is a dog lover. He prefers dogs to cats and often helps out at shelters and fosters dogs! I also imagine post-Egypt he got a therapy dog. He likes big, scary looking dogs, like pitbulls or mastiffs!

Jotaro is a fussy eater - his fave food is his mum's cooking and he possibly still eats dinosaur nuggets. Kakyoin & Polnareff tried to get him to try different foods during their Egypt adventure, but Jotaro always went back to ol reliable

Josuke is shockingly good at hair, makeup & nails. I imagine that following Diamond Is Unbreakable, he helps out at Cinderella (which is now owned by a friend or sibling of Aya) and is surprisingly good at his job!

Josuke gives the BEST hugs and he pulls them out at any moment -- feeling down? hug! we haven't seen each other in a while? hug! he hugs everyone, no matter the gender, bc he's secure in his sexuality

Johnny is surprisingly good with kids and has always wanted to be a parent. He also often used the spin to perform little magic tricks to entertain/calm down George II. This could be as a result of his douchebag dad, however, I also think that Johnny just loves the idea of being a parent/family man

Johnny's side of the family was where Holy, Kira and to a lesser extent Gappy's incredible direction measuring came from! He doesn't like to use it, even as a jockey, because he believes its cheating -- WHEN ITS NOT

Gappy is that motherfucker who can do complex math equations in his head. This one is more canon than the others, but I also imagine that he often just does it to screw with people, such as asking them a question and then immediately answering it 5 seconds after. Yasuho is impressed! and Joshu wants to drown him in a river :')

Gappy has vitiligo! Kira's skin was a lot paler than Josefumi's, so there's parts of his skin that are really pale and other parts that are more an olive color
