(steve and robin and the party are a travelling party, trying to search for a suitable place to put base, while eddie and his band are their own lil group, probs rides motorcycles and just scavenges throughout towns and cities; eddie is known as a fast runner (on his motorcycle) so he baits hoards away from settlements he deems trustworthy and wants to help, and just gets supplies and provisions as compensation. as circumstance has it, steve gets separated from the party, is injured, and eddie finds him, and he just wants to help the guy up and then leave on his merry way ya know? but new monsters, travelling across cities, and fuckn WINTER beginning to take root proves them a problem, so they have to stick together. purely by circumstance do they grow close together or something)
