Another fucking wip on fnaf because inconsistency is my skill
#In my au the crying child kind of accidentally helped kill Charlie lol. He pushed her outside and locked her in the rain. Tee hee#And THEN. He went to go check on her because he felt a little bad since Sammy was going ballistic#and accidentally witnessed the last bits of his dad murdering Charlie. He then hides and was going to wait for his dad to leave but#Since OBVIOUSLY will needs to dispose of evidence he was going to stay there. So he kind of. Went over to his dad and they had a mutual agr#Will in return started treating him “better” and also stopped using him for experiments (as much) and instead tried doing remanent stuff#And then Mike and Elizabeth got kind of envious (this was also their father subconsciously pitting all three against eachother )#so then they started to bully cc#Sammy comes into play because he also kind of helped cc push Charlie outside because Charlie was deemed “the favorite” and Henry truly#Never bothered to try and care for Sammy. This is not saying he treated Charlie good either#but. He treated her VISIBLY better than Sammy#and Sammy looked up to William (this is actually kind of relevant and is the reason why security breach and help wanted exist because…#Sammy saw William and his work as amazing and even when he figured out he used actual children for his stuff he continued it needlessly.#He usually spent more time in the Afton household than his own which is. Quite sad. William actually thought of him as the perfect nephew/#Apprentice and taught him in his ways. He’s as old as Micheal#and also the Freddy bully. (I’m figuring out how to not make him white#Oh. Right#also cc was friends with sam#(the one u shouldn’t have killed) and she has two siblings#Why is this relevant. WELL. BUDDY. So the Bonnie bully is in fact Jeremy.F#he has an older sister named Ximena. She worked at Fredbear’s diner and then circus baby’s pizza world#and Jeremy was friends with Micheal AND SAMMY. eventually after Will murdered the og kids#Jeremy was tasked with distracting Mike.#Their younger half sibling is Sammy. Jeremy is also later tasked by William to distract Micheal in any means possible from what Will is doi#Ximena’s life was essentially theatened and in order for will to ensure the animatronics don’t target her Jeremy was forced to distract mik#Even though he was still grieving for his sister and grappling guilt over cc. Mike also was somewhat mean to him sometimes and Jeremy a#Babysat Elizabeth sometimes. By distraction William never clarified so Jeremy kind of went for a romantic ish approach. He’d constantly tak#There’s more but I don’t want to explain 😭#Mike out from his house

Okay so in my last Kevin post, I mentioned I have analysis' on how Kevin isn't a coward and how his trauma still affects him and you guys wanted to read it so here!
Why Kevin Day Isn’t a Coward:
Essentially this comes down to 3 specific points in the fandom and even in the books since people are very adamant about the whole coward thing. The two things that people (in book and fandom-wise) use to argue that Kevin is a coward are:
Kevin is still afraid/ doesn’t stand up to Riko
That he left Jean behind in the nest.
Starting off with the first point. Kevin is still afraid and doesn’t stand up to Riko for the majority of the books. Firstly, we need to understand that Kevin has been abused from an extremely young age in the Nest and was conditioned into thinking that kind of behaviour was normal. And by that I mean specifically Riko’s abuse but before that, it was Coach Moriyama that abused both of them.
He was stuck in the Nest for over a decade where his only role was “property” the entire time. That was all he would ever be to them and additionally to that, he wasn’t even allowed to be better than Riko. His entire life from the very start has been about exy but it was only after his mothers death where it became life or death.
During tfc when Neil finds out how Kevin’s hand really broke Wymack says “But the day Kevin stops playing forever is the day he dies. He has nothing else. He wasn't raised to have anything else. Do you understand? We cannot lose to the Ravens this year. Kevin won't survive it."
He wasn’t raised to have anything else, exy is quite literally his everything, and without it, he has nothing and nobody. In this same scene, Wymack says, “Kevin doesn't talk about his time at Evermore, but I could tell it wasn't the first time Riko or Moriyama laid a hand on him. It was just the first time Kevin was smart enough to pack his bags and walk away.”
We never find out in detail what exactly happened to Kevin in the Nest but in TRK when Neil goes there we can see how deluded and obsessed Riko is with Kevin.
Neil moved up alongside him and regretted it almost immediately. Postcards of faraway cities both foreign and domestic were taped to the walls. Beneath each one were scraps of paper. Kevin's now-familiar scrawl listed dates and explanations for the travels. Most of them were games. Some indicated photo shoots and interviews. Books lined the shelves built into the headboard and Neil knew from skimming the spines they were Kevin's. Kevin was majoring in history for reasons Neil couldn't understand; these dry titles were the sorts of things he would find fascinating. It gave Neil chills to see his space preserved like this. It was like Kevin had gone out on an errand, not that he'd transferred to another team entirely.
Riko is so sure that Kevin is going to come back to him because he’s instituted such fear into him, he doesn’t think Kevin has the strength to stand up to him. Which he does, but people don’t seem to realise you can’t undo over a decade's worth of trauma overnight.
Anyway, during Neil’s time in the Nest, he’s treated very similarly to how Kevin would be considering he was in his place but also not as harsh because they had to send Neil back to the Foxes inevitably.
"I am going to love hurting you," Riko said, "like I loved hurting Kevin."
What follows this is Riko tying Neil down and torturing him with a switchblade. By the time Neil leaves the Nest he doesn’t remember anything from the experience- he was so traumatised by it that he doesn’t remember it at all. (It also kinda sucks how Neil gets more sympathy for being in the nest for 2 weeks than Kev did for being there for over a decade.)
Putting this into perspective, Kevin went through that for so much longer and doesn’t get nearly enough of the same sympathy Neil did. Neil returned and Kevin got punched for letting him go even though he tried persuading Neil not to. Kevin has always had Neil’s best interest at heart.
Kevin shook his head and bulled on when Neil started to argue. "The master wants to salvage you. He's going to sign you to the Raven lineup in spring. So long as you keep quiet and keep your head down he won't tell the main family he's found you." "I'm not a Raven," Neil said. "I never will be." "Then run," Kevin insisted, low and frantic. "It's the only way you'll survive."
Kevin was willing to sacrifice the only chance he had to prove his autonomy to the Moriyamas if it meant Neil would be safe. Without Neil, they wouldn’t have enough players to qualify and they wouldn’t be able to play at all. (Again: “But the day Kevin stops playing forever is the day he dies. He has nothing else. He wasn't raised to have anything else. Do you understand? We cannot lose to the Ravens this year. Kevin won't survive it.")
Not to mention the whole “Kevin was silent for an endless minute, then said, "You should be Court." It was barely a whisper, but it cut Neil to the bone. It was a resentful goodbye to the bright future Kevin had wanted for Neil. Kevin recruited Neil because he believed in Neil's potential. He brought him to the Foxes intending to make a star athlete out of him. Despite his condescending attitude and his dismissals of Neil's best efforts Kevin honestly expected Neil to make the national team after graduation.
And even after that, he promised to teach Neil, because at the end of the day, Neil was still Neil and he never gave up on him once.
And Neil understood that being on the run for 8 years was more preferable to the Nest.
“But all Neil had to do was look at Kevin to know he would have hated that life
too.”
Sorry I kinda went off track there anyway we can also see how much Riko’s presence still affects Kevin especially in scenes like the Kathy Ferdinand show.
“Any animosity Neil felt toward Kevin for forcing him onto this show evaporated. He couldn't be angry when Riko was here, not when Riko was to Kevin what Neil's father was to him. Petty anger had nothing on this full-fledged terror.”
Obviously, we all know what a dickhead Neil’s dad was to him so Neil comparing the fear of his father being similar to Kevin’s fear of Riko is so important because it just puts into perspective how afraid Kevin is here face-to-face with his abuser the first time since said abuser permanently disabled him.
But what I don’t think is that Kevin has been standing upto Riko since the start because right after this when they were backstage, Kevin physically stopped Riko from hurting Neil even if it meant getting hurt by Riko again.
A black look twisted Riko's expression into something ugly and unrecognizable. He reached for Neil, but Kevin caught his arm to stop him. Riko slammed his elbow back into Kevin's face without missing a beat.
This scene is probably the best to describe how downright afraid Kevin is of Riko but there are others when Kevin has multiple panic attacks at just the thought of Riko or being in the same vicinity as him and rightfully so! Riko abused him, manipulated him and then took away the only thing he had. And Kevin was just forced to think this was okay.
And a lot of characters and fans see his fear as cowardice instead of a normal trauma response. This is also because Neil tends to speak out more against Riko than Kevin (You know I get it…) but unlike Neil, Kevin has had direct repercussions towards him for the “mistake” of talking back to Riko which of course makes him hesitant.
He knows the Moriyamas could drag him back at any moment and he's terrified of that happening.
Which leads to the second bit of “Kevin doesn’t stand up to Riko.” when many times, he has.
The most prominent example is in TRK, just after the foxes lost their first match to the ravens.
“You have fallen so far, Kevin. You should have stayed down and saved us the trouble of forcing you back to your knees." "I'm satisfied," Kevin said. It was the last response any of the Foxes expected from him. They forgot about Riko in favor of gaping at Kevin. "Not with their score or performance, but with their spirit. I was right. There's more than enough here for me to work with."
Kevin chose the foxes over the ravens- over Riko. He doesn’t allow their loss to become something Riko can use against him but instead something to affirm his current standing with them. This is also the first game Andrew played without his meds meaning he’s crashed by the end of it.
Kevin distracted the Ravens from Andrew's unsteadiness by facing them.
Kevin willingly turned to talk to his ex-abuser and his team if it meant Andrew wouldn’t be under fire. Most people only see Kevin and Andrew as Andrew protecting Kevin but Kevin protected Andrew just as much.
And of course we have the whole tattoo removal and the last exy match against the foxes but I need everyone to understand that those are so so so important. Kevin spent the entire series save the last quarter of the last book viewing himself as Riko’s property. Riko refers to him as such and even without Riko near him, his control is still strong over Kevin.
So Kevin removing his tattoo and replacing it with something with a higher hierarchical structure than Riko’s status as king is so detrimental, it’s a turning point for him because he’s viewing himself as his own person now. And Kevin scoring the winning goal brings us full circle because the last time he did that with Riko, he ended up disabled and shunned.
This brings me to my second point about Kevin running away from the nest. Alot of people see Kevin escpaing from the nest and leaving behind Jean as an act of cowardice. This bit gets a bit complicated because in no way shape or form am I trying to compare trauma’s or anything like that.
But to continue on. The ravens had a very strict policy that we got to see during Neil's experience one of which being that no matter how injured they were, they were still expected to show up to practice. The more mistakes they made the more punishment they'd find themselves in. Not showing was practically a death wish.
Now Kevin having his hand fucking broken would mean thay either he doesn't practise and get punished or practise with his fucked up hand and further damage it. If he stayed I wholeheartedly believe he would've died.
He ran away to save his life and that will never be cowardice not once. He didn't go to Wymack immediately when he found out because he knew what kind of target he'd paint on Wymacks back.
"He was trying to protect him," Neil said. "If Coach knew Kevin was his son, he'd have tried to take him from Edgar Allan." Nicky grimaced. "They'd have never let Kevin go."
He only left when he had no other option. He had nothing left, the one thing he did have was taken away from him, he had no purpose and for once Riko didn't care enough about him to pay attention. And he used that to run.
Leaving Jean behind was something he always regretted, but it was a game of survival. Jean was a gift to the Moriyamas, he was also property to them and couldn't leave. And if the roles were reversed I strongly believe Jean would've done the same thing.
Also Kevin finds a place for him layer with the trojans because he knew that being a fox wouldn't be good for him.
"He isn't safe with us," Kevin said. "I won't give him false hope."
Staying in the nest would've been suicide for Kevin. He's one of the biggest victims in the series but nobody talks about it enough I fear and there's so much to learn about him via context clues etc.
And the saddest thing in my opinion is that Kevin knew was it was like to be loved, he was raised by his mother for a few years before going to the Moriyamas.
ANYWAY to conclude, I suck at essays and I hope I've worded everything well and what I'm trying to say gets across. Kevin is not a coward, never has been a coward and never will be. He's survived through such a damaging and abusive environment only to get moved to a separate environment where everyone just ridicules his defense tactics and he has no real sense of support.
His reasons for what he does always stems from the fact the he doesn't want to go back to being under Riko and Coach Moriyamas "care" and that he's afraid. And most of the time it's things he can't shake from the nest.
Like when he pushes the foxes its so they're always at their best and so none of them get hurt or punished for mistakes. He pushed himself the hardest because he doesn't want to directly affect his teammates.
Or the celebrity persona he was forced to develop.
Or how he makes sure everyone is staying healthy and that they don't force themselves to play when sick or injured because he knows what it's like to be forced to play like that day after day.
AND IVE GONE OFF COURSE AGAIN yeah I kinda mashed together both analysis' of how Kevin's trauma from the nest affects him and how he's not a coward into one thing AND THIS IS SUPER LONG so if ur still here thank you very much for reading I really hope this makes sense

HEY POOKS! I'm back with a cool idea😋
Basically hcs where the ninja have to train the reader(who is younger then them) because Wu told them too. At first neither of them want to train together and make the training sessions difficult for each other but over time the ninja see themselves in the reader which was apart of wu's plan. So overtime they develop a sibling bond and everyone rubs in their faces on how similar they are even when they used to hate each other.
SILLY REQUEST BUT HOPEFULLY THAT MADE SENSE! ANYWAYS BYE POOKIE REMEMBER TO TAKE RESTS AND DRINK WATER🤍💛🤍👻👻
YIPPEE you’re back with another banger!!!
Me when you call me pookie,, teehee
Tumblr media
Ninjago - Unintentionally Becoming the Ninjas’ Little Sibling
Zane
Zane doesn’t always hate kids, but he certainly didn’t like you at first
He saw you as disorganized and disruptive
Your fighting style was no better
He begrudgingly took it upon himself to help shape you up, not just as a fighter, but as a person
Your attitude towards him was not helping his exasperation at all
But he’s perseverant
Eventually you start to come around to his lessons, finding that being organized is pretty convenient at times
You secretly started to organize your room
You absolutely did NOT want him to know that though
One time he walked in on you sorting your comics by franchise, and you legitimately flipped your table
“Y/n! Why did you do that? Look at the mess you’ve made.”
“I-I don’t care about messes!! No… I… I like my room like this…”
He insisted on helping you clean up, at which point he noticed that the comics, which had somehow maintained their separate groups after falling to the floor, were sorted
He doesn’t point it out, but he feels some pride in you
He helps you reorganize the comics wordlessly
Sitting there, just sorting through comics in silence, the tension between you two melted
Once Zane realized that his teachings were getting through to you, he stops being so harsh
He offers to help you organize things, and he’s thrilled if you return the favor
From there he’ll start teaching you to cook and do chores too
That’s when the others start to notice
They call you the Rumba because you’re a little housekeeping helper
Zane finds the name especially comedic because a Rumba is also a robot
Though their teasing makes you all huffy, you wouldn’t go back to your old ways just to stop it
You like the time you spend with Zane too much
Besides doing chores, you guys also like to watch documentaries together
You’re both one of those “did you know (weirdly specific fact)” people
You like to quiz each other on your niche hobbies and interests
You’re both definitely one of those weirdly knowledgeable people that seem to have a fun fact for every scenario
You’ll build off of each others’ fun facts as well
“Did you guys know that monarch butterflies are actually incredibly poisonous?”
“That’s correct. That’s why the viceroy butterfly has evolved to look similar; predators will assume they’re monarchs, and thus elect not to eat them.”
This becomes more annoying for the others as time goes on
Kai
He was determined to “tame” you from the very beginning
When Wu tasked him with training you, he convinced himself that you were a real piece of work
This led to a less than ideal attitude towards you, regardless of whether you were actually a problem child or not
He assumes this air of authority, using his age and experience as excuses to boss you around
That’s where your problem with him arises
And when you start to show how much you hate him, he only feels more justified in his treatment
It’s only when he starts to notice your hot-headedness that he reflects on his treatment of you
He sees himself in you, which makes him question if that’s how he would want to be treated
No, he decides, this is not how he would want to be treated were he in your position
So he approaches you one day when you’re all alone, watching the sunset
“Here to boss me around some more?”
“No, I want to apologize. I shouldn’t be treating you like this. It’s just not helpful, to you or me. I’m going to try to be better.”
His genuineness strikes you
You accept the apology warily
Frankly you’re worried about how he plans to change his treatment of you
You’re pleasantly surprised to find that he’s actually a pretty cool guy once he drops the dictator act
He shows you fun fighting moves, even lets you win every now and again when you spar
And he invites you to do more leisurely activities too
It’s a welcome change from the endless stream of chores he used to give you
He still gives you work to do though (mostly things he doesn’t want to do himself)
Your lingering hot-headedness shines through when this happens
“Why do I have to do it? It’s not fair!”
“Because I said so. Now shoo.”
The others start to tease that you’re just like him
Kai doesn’t mind this at all
If anything, he’s proud to have a mini version of himself
He loves doing stuff with you; your determination makes you a great buddy to be all competitive with
You guys LOVE to compete; video games, chores, training, anything
Cole
You get on Cole’s bad side by being stubborn
Cole’s a pretty chill guy who likes to go with the flow, so if you make him put his foot down, he’s not going to like you
So, when you demonstrate the classic huffiness of a child, he gets pretty impatient
He won’t push hard when it comes to enforcing his authority
He’ll just leave
This makes you feel like he doesn’t care about you, which only exacerbates your bad attitude
It becomes a vicious cycle of hate on both ends
It’s only when you realize that you are being a little bratty that you decide to try and tone it down
This takes him by surprise
“…99, and 100! Okay, all done with warm-ups. What next?”
“Wh— no complaining? Huh. Um, okay, let’s practice your high kicks.”
“You’re the boss.”
He starts to actually enjoy training with you once you’re not arguing all the time
This shows you that he really does care about your progress
The negative cycle therefore becomes a positive one
Cole loves to praise you when you’ve done a good job
He’s very proud of you
When you get used to going with what he says, you’re adopting some of his laid-back attitude
That’s where the others perceive similarities
But they don’t end there
Cole likes to invite you to hang out with him after training, and through your hang out sessions you start to pick up on some of his mannerisms
Like eating the cream out of the Oreo before you eat the cookie
Or leaving the TV on while you take a nap
The teasing gets amped up when the others notice these mirrored habits
Neither of you really care, though
You just like that you have a good relationship now :)
Jay
Jay thought you were a total brat
All it took was one bad experience; he’s volatile like that
He sees you in a bad light once and your reputation is ruined
A bad comment, telling him no once, a dirty look, anything small like that
He’s super cold to you when training, dishing out orders like Gordon Ramsay and glaring at you just as intensely
You feel like you can never satisfy him
As the work he gives you piles up daily, you can’t help but shoot a glare back
Your relationship is fixed in the same way it was ruined: with a single moment
You were watching TV, appreciating a rare break
Your favorite character was on screen, and you couldn’t help but smile and sigh
“Man, I wish you were my friend. Then everything would be okay. You’re just so cool.”
“Isn’t he?!”
You whirled around with wild eyes
Jay was diving to sit down next to you, his eyes sparkling at the screen
He was overjoyed to find out that you liked the show; it was super niche, and none of the other ninjas had even heard of it
You listened as he gushed about the show, a little disturbed by his complete flip of attitude
Eventually you couldn’t help joining his fangirling
You spent literal hours talking
Kai dropped in at one point to make a comment about you two being secret siblings, which you both shrugged off
After that day you were pretty much inseparable
You both proved to be total chatterboxes in each others’ presence
The others find this amusing in the sense that Jay has finally found an equal, but annoying in the sense that you guys literally never stop talking
The only time you shut your mouths is when you’re watching your shows
Even when training, you keep feedback flowing between you
“Nice kick! Try lower next time, though.”
“Thanks! Oof, that hurt…”
Nya
When you start to get frustrated/demotivated with your training, Nya does the same
She finds you “impossible to work with”
So she’ll dump you with someone else, making you feel like garbage to be tossed around
Wu has to remind her that she was the same when she started her ninja training
She’s in denial at first, but when she sees you hunched over in anger, she remembers being in that exact position
With newfound empathy she goes over to you
“Hey… you know, I wasn’t much better when I started my training.”
“I doubt it. I’m just the worst. I’ll never be a ninja.”
She was shocked to find your attitude so similar to her old attitude
From there she had a better idea of how to help you
You were surprised to find her so understanding
You came around to her as you realized she really did know how you were feeling
You put your trust in her, becoming a little more laid-back and letting her guide you
In other words, you adopted her “go with the flow” mindset
Wu was the first to point out your similarities
You both just looked at each other and smiled
You knew you were similar; that’s why you got along
Nya decides to teach you things beyond ninja training, like mechanics
You become quite skilled under her guidance
The others notice that she’s essentially created a smaller version of herself
She protests that you’re your own person, but she can’t deny that you are basically just mini-Nya
Lloyd
Lloyd gets annoyed if you don’t make progress quickly
His training was very fast and intense, so if you can’t keep up, he gets impatient
He’ll just keep pushing harder and harder
He doesn’t realize that not everyone has a prophecy to live up to, and thus probably isn’t motivated in the same way
He can’t find a way to appeal to your motivation, which leaves you feeling like training is just a waste of time
Lloyd finds this attitude incredibly disrespectful
You guys make so many passive aggressive remarks
“Are you already tired?”
“Well, you did kinda just make me, the kid, do 100 push ups.”
It’s when you finally snap that he realizes he’s been doing it wrong
You explode during training one day, storming off while grumbling furiously
Lloyd just stands there, stunned
At that point he finally recognizes that you’re not just a little version of himself, and he needs to get to know you to understand how to help you
So he appeals to you first, remembering the things he used to like as a kid
He gets you into Starfarer, and you guys bond over your love of it
He learns bits and pieces about you when you hang out, and eventually devises a plan to get you back on track
You take to training much better the second time around, making impressive progress
You aren’t cocky about it though; you’ve picked up Lloyd’s humble attitude
The others reminisce about when Lloyd was in your position and they were the trainers
“They’re kinda like you, Lloyd.”
“You think? I guess they are. I remember when you’d train me like this, Kai.”
He takes pride in knowing he’s facilitated your growth
He’s almost as proud to say he’s created another Starfarer fan
You guys still love to gush over the comics together :)

Sage Advice
Beth was not usually a fiend for gossip. Usually, she kept her head down, did her work, focused on her own life instead of other people’s.
But, oh, did Professor Gadling’s class provide such excellent gossip.
“Do you think he’s a student?” whispered Dylan at her side. They were, ostensibly, at a lecture event on medieval warfare. In reality, they were watching the Professor Gadling and his goth boyfriend show.
Beth squinted in their direction. Their professor was leaning against the wall several meters away, talking animatedly with a drink in one hand. His boyfriend – a word which felt insufficient somehow, though Beth couldn’t think of anything better – stood close to his side, just in his space, and, as she watched, leaned in to whisper something in his ear. “I don’t think he’s young enough to be an undergrad.”
“Grad student, then? But also, there are older undergrads, too, returning student things and whatnot?”
“Do you really think Professor Gadling is that kind of person?” Beth asked.
“I mean I wouldn’t have thought but you know what they say,” Dylan affected a dark tone, “you can never really know another human being.”
Beth snorted.
“He’s definitely way younger, though,” Dylan continued. “It’s a problem.”
“Oh, undoubtedly younger—” unless the guy just had a really excellent skincare routine “—but why is that such a huge problem for you? They’re both adults.”
“I just wanna know,” Dylan insisted.
“You need more excitement in your life.”
“This is my excitement.”
Beth was about to give up and go do something that didn’t involve creepily staring at her professor from across the room, when Professor Gadling rested his hand on his boyfriend’s hip and his boyfriend leaned in and said, just loud enough for Beth to make out, “You always offer such sage advice, Professor.”
She met Dylan’s gaze, both of them equally horrified.
“Is he fucking one of his TAs?” Beth hissed.
“Is he that guy’s advisor?” Dylan squeaked in return.
God. This was just getting worse and worse by the moment.
But also so much more interesting.

“Your students are gossiping about us again,” Dream murmured in Hob’s ear, voice rumbling so low Hob could swear his wine glass vibrated at the tenor.
“Only because you’re inciting them,” Hob grumbled back. “I know what you’re doing.”
“Contrary to what you believe, I am not manipulating their dreams. This is a game of the waking world only.”
“Why? Why limit yourself?”
“Because it is more of a challenge.” A sly smile cut across Dream’s face. “It has been a long time since I have worked with such raw material. Material that I cannot simply bend to my will. It is far more thrilling to succeed when the difficulty is greater.”
“Material? They’re my students, not clay.”
“That is where you are wrong.”
“So what exactly are you doing, then?” Hob demanded.
“I am crafting a story,” said Dream, and he lit up with such vibrancy at the words that Hob couldn’t bear to tell him to stop even if this all felt more like a mad science experiment than it did storytelling. “But I am not telling it, no. My materials are assumption and implication and I am letting the story tell itself.”
Hob was both impressed and frightened by the prospect of this. “How, exactly?”
Dream’s eyes glinted as if he had just been waiting for Hob to ask. “Like this.”
He leaned in next to Hob’s ear, and Hob caught him automatically by his hip. Dream said, louder than before, “You always offer such sage advice, Professor.”
Hob couldn’t stop his blush at the sultry tone of it. He watched out of the corner of his eye as the two students in the corner started whispering furiously at one another. Dream smirked, victorious.
“Before you say I am manipulating,” he said, back in his lower tone, “ask yourself, did I speak a false word?”
“Assuming you do in fact think I occasionally offer good advice, then no. What’s your point?”
“My point is this: blame me not for weaving lies in their heads. I speak no lies. Weak stories are built upon lies. Real stories grow from a seed of truth.”
“Like dreams,” Hob said, begrudgingly, and Dream nodded proudly. “God, your mind terrifies me sometimes,” Hob added, and knocked back the rest of his wine.

Aiden BPD headcanonsssss because my dad is being weird and I feel weird too
(Most of these are based on my experiences living with somebody who has bpd, and maybe myself but we won't talk about that haha)
Tw for all the things bpd tends to cover (self harm, abuse, substance abuse, and suicidal ideation, brief mention of cannabis in a medical context)
-definitely a big source of trauma is his parents basically abandoning him for long stretches of time
-Prone to splitting regarding them. When they're not around its so much easier to be like "Whatever, fuck them, I don't care." But when they *are* around, they're always so affectionate, a lot of "it's not their fault they're busy", "they don't mean it", kind of thoughts...it's okay Aiden, people can still love you even if they treat you badly :/
-y'all know he's self destructive. Yall KNOW. He's been in 7 different go-kart "accidents", once broke his hip trying to impersonate Tony Hawk, and he WILL be crashing his car into a tree after binge drinking.
-Self harms as a form of stimulation sometimes. He just gets SO bored. Usually will slam his head on the nearest hard object or cut himself with his compass.
-has been to a "wellness center" (mental hospital) after an episode where when his parents were on a trip, they returned and found him catatonic on his bed, he hadn't gotten up for almost 8 weeks and his mattress was stained with urine. Not to mention he'd gotten extremely sick after eating only Ramen. Called this a "blip" and hasn't done anything like this again, but only cuz he hated the hospital so much :/
-not really good at managing his anger. He gets pissed off easily (his jaw starts clenching), but has definitely eased off with the yelling and picking a fight with the person. May say some things he may or may not regret later :/ might like kick the wall or smth too-
-his feelings of emptiness and boredom get really exacerbated when he tries to sleep, so he just doesn't sleep until he passes out from exhaustion.
-extremely rare, but if he cries its almost never the appropriate time.
-his favorite person (and I mean this in the bpd way not just the usual way) was Ben, now it's Ashlyn. She asks Ben for advice sometimes on how to understand him better. Is trying to get better, but he just wants all of her attention all the time. He could make a soliloquy of all the things he loves about her. She's the one who pushed him to go back to therapy and told him "hey, I think you have somethinh"
-Weirdly protective but in a hands off way?? Even tho he really doesn't handle himself well? He knows his friends can take care of themselves but it doesn't stop him from running through the worst case scenario. Freaks out if people are late, especially if they're punctual. Also really defensive of them, they do no wrong in his eyes (except when they do :/)
-used to push people away to avoid disappointment or abandonment, especially because they needed to move so much. All his relationships were very superficial. Ghosted people a lot.
-Has chronic pain as an adult because of all the injuries he suffered through as a kid, not to mention his shitty posture. He takes painkillers, but they leave him zoned out and with even worse insomnia so he doesn't take them a lot. Sometimes uses medicinal weed if the pain is really bad. Ash tries to help by rubbing his back, though she says she's not that useful. He always feels better afterwards tho ❤️
-Smokes if he is really stressed, but he's ashamed about it and tries not to do it too much. Picked it up after stealing some of his mom's cigarettes when he was younger.
-his inner voice is extremely negative and he is generally under the impression that everybody hates him. Tries to act like this doesn't bother him and acts like a nuisance because if everybody hates him why even bother filtering his thoughts or actions?
-why were you even born? Who'd love a screw up like you? Your own parents didn't even want you.
-rejection sensitivity and gets really depressed if he's upset one of his friends. Will usually self harm to cope because he think lashing out will make things worse and he just doesn't know what else to do.
-he loves deeply and he's fiercely loyal. He's good with children. He's a wonderful artist. And he is so very incredibly kind. His bpd does not define him as a person.
I don't know if anybody needs to hear this, but, having BPD is not a death sentence. You're not doomed to be a bad person or an abuser, and I say this as somebody who was abused by someone with BPD (my own father). People with BPD are scared, they are struggling, and most of all, they're tired. If you or somebody you care about thinks they're have bpd, try to contact a doctor or specialist and seek professional help.
I'm gonna go cry in the shower now :)

- The Pocky Challenge -
♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤
Characters: Kaeya, Diluc, Jean, Kazuha, Scaramouche, and Chongyun.
♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤
Kaeya:
"Oh? The Pocky Challenge? Why isn't that an entertaining suggestion. Very well, I will humor you."
He's enjoying himself quite a lot.
You can bet he will be trying his absolute best to sabotage you. Tickling, poking, giving you flirty looks l while focusing on the game. Just how talented is this man?
You should try your best to win if you don't want to be teased for the rest of your life. Kaeya won't be letting this one down.
The tone in his voice when he brings it up on every argument makes you angry.
"But Darling, you're very adorable. Remember that one pocky challenge round we did? You were so flustered when I won. Quite the sight, I'd say."
It will be very difficult to win against him, but it's not a complete loss hope.
The best way for you to beat him in this is to take big bites, limit his space. Of course this won't be enough but itself, but it will throw him off guard for a second.
You know the saying "fight fire with fire?" Try that. It might just work the few seconds he's off guard.
If you beat him, he'll be quite happy for you. You'll get spoiled with words of congratulations.
"So you can win, hmm? Well, that was quite entertaining, my dear. Congratulations for beating me. Don't get used to this, next time I'll make you a blushing mess."
♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤
Diluc:
"You really want to do the Pocky challenge? Well, since you won't stop asking, I might as well give it a try. Alright, then."
Just convincing him to even participate will take a while. It might even take hours depending upon his mood.
When he is finally convinced, it won't be obvious, but he will start to get a bit flustered.
Just the thought of what's about to go down makes him feel somewhat shy.
You have a really good shot at winning this. All you have to do is catch him off guard, make him more flustered.
He'll be happy that you won, but make sure to ask him for another round! He'll go soft.
"Well, that was the experience. Anyways, congratulations. I'm happy you won... Huh? Another round? One wasn't enough for you?"
If he refuses the second round, make it seem like you're challenging him.
Usually, he would say no to these meaningless challenges, but it was you who asked, so he'll partake.
However, he won't lose to you this round. Diluc will push past all of his nervousness just so you can't tease him.
"There you have it, both of us have one win. No need for another round, it's better to leave it off as even... Also I feel a bit shy, why must you stir my heart like this?..."
♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤
Jean:
"The Pocky Challenge? I'm sorry, I'm a quite busy at the moment. A break? No, I haven't taken one. Huh-?"
This workaholic is always busy, so if she doesn't take a break by herself, make her take one.
To accomplish this, try taking whatever she's working on and give her a hug.
Don't let her go until she agrees. Now she has no other choice.
So you tell her the rules, and her face has a light pink tint to it. It's just barely noticeable, but nonetheless it's still obvious she feels shy.
She knows you won't let her go till she agrees so she does. (But it's also because she really misses you)
There's no saying who will win, it's a pretty even chance for both sides.
If she wins, she'll be very thankful for the small break, and then reluctantly return to work.
"This paperwork is important, I need to finish it, but thank you. This was a nice break, I feel calmer now. I have a feeling I'll be able to focus on my work now."
She'll be quite happy for you if you win, so she'll quickly congratulate and thank you before she returns to her work.
"Oh, you won! That's nice, I'll treat you to dinner later, I promise. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to do this for me, it's really appreciated. If only I didn't have to return to my work so soon..."
♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤
Kazuha:
"The Pocky Challenge, hm? I don't have anything else to do, and I'd like to try something new. Alright, I'll do it."
This game could either swing one way or the other.
It all depends on how you respond to his antics.
He won't let you win per say, but he'll give you short openings just to mess with you.
However, once he is finally done teasing you, there is no doubt that he will try his best to win.
There's a pretty good chance that he'll win the first round, but don't worry, he would never rub it in your face.
He will definitely tease you sometimes, but won't go too far.
When he wins, his voice is very calm when addressing it.
"That was fun, I'm glad to have won. Don't worry my love, there will be other chances for you to beat me. How about we go out for dinner? It's my treat."
If you beat him, however, he will make sure to shower you with praise and compliments.
"Congrats, Y/n, you have bested me. I had no doubt in my mind that you would do well. I love you."
♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤
Scaramouche:
"That stupid challenge? Hell no! I'm not doing that... Ugh, fine. If you won't stop bothering me, let's get this over with."
You thought Diluc was hard to convince? The only way you're getting him to participate in this is if you annoy him for days.
At first he tried to ignore you, he even made other people drag you away from him. But you would never truly leave him alone.
So, he accepts so you'll go away.
He's not going easy on you--this man won't go for a loss.
But deep down he feels a bit awkward(?) Maybe even a tad bit shy.
Through the time of you bothering him he's grown used to you
He won't try underhanded tactics, if he's going to win, he'll do it properly.
So he's just staring you straight in the eye as it's happening definitely not holding down how he truly feels
Of course, it's not exactly difficult to beat him, but it's not exactly easy either.
If he wins, he won't say much, but there is a hint of hesitance in his voice.
"Well, there was your game. I won. Now, I am busy, but now that I think about it, help me with those papers. This will be my reward for winning, but... Just don't go yet."
If you win, he's sorta doesn't care because in his opinion it was a stupid challenge anyways.
"You won. Okay. Now that I've humoured you, will you leave me alone? This is quite important...Actually, stay for a bit. I don't usually need help with things, but I could use an opinion. That's all."
♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤♡♤
Chongyun:
"Th-The Pocky Challenge? No, no! It's not that I don't want to, but my condition might act up."
He's a bit shy about it, but he would love to do the challenge with you.
However, with his condition, he will only join if you're either in a cold climate, or you have something freshly cold on you.
He'll try his best to win, but he feels very bashful about being so close to you.
If he somehow wins, he'll be really happy (also shy of course)
"I won??? Really? I feel happy! But... Could you get me something cold? I feel like I'm about to pass out...And... I don't mind doing this again sometime."
If you win, he's happy for you, he was even expecting it.
Congratulations, you get an overheated boy to take care of.
"You beat me, I'm happy for you! Maybe we can go out for icecream. In other words, I need something cold, so we can celebrate together!"

Since ToTK is out now and the idea I had for finding the masks is now irrelevant, I decided to share the basic idea of what kind of backstory I had come up with for how Wild got the FD Mask, cause I really liked what I had come up with but couldn't figure out the best way to implement it or the precise order of things happening.
In chronological order of appearance:
Link wakes up, gets told, "Hey, Link, you are this very specific character and your sole purpose is to go save Zelda"
Link doesn't really like this, but hey, what can you do?
Does the basic line of plateau to Dueling Peaks Stable to Impa to Purah to Impa, gets told to go follow the memories, finds the one with the DP in the background and the rock and is really disappointed in how it seems the princess, supposedly the most kind soul in Hyrule, basically directly insults Link's worth.
Thinks "Wow, that's what she thought of me? I must have been an asshole. Damn." and decides that if that's who he used to be, he didn't want to remember his past and risk becoming that again.
Awkward blank period I hadn't figured out leading into the Gerudo quest, where Link gets the Vai outfit and realizes, "Hey, everyone treats me like a different person now! This is pretty nice!" and begins questioning Gender among other things (now referred to as they).
Link goes into Gerudo town, does stuff, and eventually visits the old woman next to the goddess statue who points out the fact that Link is a voe. From Link's negative reaction, she feels slightly bad and decides to chat with them for a bit. This leads to her telling them about a stash of ancient masks that her family had been in charge of guarding for a while, but that her grand-(aunt? something) had lost the map with just a riddle left. Her reasoning for wanting it was that one of the masks would make the wearer seem like a Gerudo, and that espionage would be easy with it. She asks like to find the cache or the rotted/destroyed remains of the cache, and return the Gerudo mask to her.
The riddle was smart sounding and I liked it, but also could have been better as it just meant "shoot an ice arrow through that big skeleton's eye and the cache will show up," so Link thanks the woman and marks it down on the slate as a quest.
After some amount of time, Link goes to the skeleton and does the action, revealing a large crate with a fancy seal for a lock on it, used to hold the magic that made it rise, removes said seal, and opens the crate. Inside is a whole bunch of masks which bear resemblance to the masks from OoT and MM. I didn't get around to fully planing out this part, but this was the sort of vibe I was going for.
Link casually loots it all and puts the masks in the Sheikah Slate, for delivery to the old woman.
They return to Gerudo town and hand over the Gerudo mask to the old woman, who thanks them, and denies the returning of the rest of the masks as they would probably get more use of them than she would. She casually drops the existence of stage plays, which is the first Link has heard of them, and then explains they're where actors pretend to be different people to perform. This catches links attention.
Link eventually starts experimenting with this idea, wearing different masks or outfits and acting like completely different people, and because he is partially rejecting the idea of their only goal being to stop the BBEG and save Hyrule, they are usually more vocal, with exceptions (this doesn't mean they totally ignore their duty, and eventually leads to them beating Clammy Gan).
Eventually, Link visits the Deku tree and hears his (t)request. However, he notices something when Link later climbs up and talks to him from the StumpStool. This basically conveys the idea that the longer magic tools rest in place, the stronger they become.
This is how much I had thought out, and while I might finish this idea, due to the fact that there is now a Misiko quest that has you finding the pieces around Hyrule, I think I will have to revamp the story in order to fit ToTK better and to boost my interest again.
I dont know how much of the original plan will still be implemented, but I think there is enough stuff that I can carry over the ideas from into the new version. And so I will do this!
Eventually. . .

Now that Russel T. Davies is back at Dr Who, are you going to pick it back up?
Honestly, I doubt it -- I mean one never knows, but I didn't leave the show because Davies left, and wasn't that fond of him to start with, so his returning doesn't mean all that much to me.
Sometimes we just lose interest in things, and some of my stopping viewing was that; some was also the DEEP toxicity I was starting to experience from the Who fandom at the time. But a lot of it was also frustration with the show on a number of levels that I don't think a single showrunner or writer has complete influence over. I got tired of a show that introduced mysteries it never resolved, I felt that the storylines were beginning to talk down to me in a way I did not appreciate, and the entire franchise's bent towards treating characters as disposable really started to get to me.
The tendency to simply kill a character when they were no longer useful was there before Davies left, continued on after, and probably will still be there when he returns; it's part of the fabric of modern Who (arguably part of the fabric of historical Who as well, to be fair, but that's an essay I don't particularly want to write at all, let alone here). That's not objective criticism -- killing a character is not inherently bad storytelling -- but shows with a lot of casual death, I came to realize, simply aren't for me, and I'm better off not subjecting myself to that.
I have a lingering love of Doctor Who, both historic and contemporary, but I doubt it's a fandom to which I will return. Still, I never thought I'd go back to Good Omens either, so I'm not like, swearing a promise or anything.

Cheese watched as Maple popped yet another Jaboca berry into her mouth. They were her favorite, and she had somehow gotten a whole pile of them that was quickly disappearing. She probably stole them from a human market.
"You're eating a lot more than usual," Cheese said.
Maple glared at him, which was the only way she ever looked at him. "That's because I'm more hungry than usual, obviously. Don't you have something better to do?" She popped another berry into her mouth, then picked up the rest using psychic and flew away.
Cheese laughed softly once she was gone. That had been a fairly tame response compared to usual. Maybe he was starting to grow on her. Probably not.
"Cheese, get the sleep powder, now!"
Cheese jumped at the sudden intrusion of Limburger in his head. "Golly, you're gonna kill me with a heart attack someday old man."
"Now!"
There was a loud clatter in the living room, followed by a terrible growling noise. Oh boy. Cheese got to his feet with a groan and started towards the supply closet, but then Maple sped past him with the jar of sleep powder in tow. There was a thud of something falling to the floor and the growling stopped. Cheese started floating towards the living room instead.
"What are you guys trying to do, burn the house down? Why'd you teleport that thing in here?"
Cheese froze. Tenmaitwo had recently picked up in Rocket transmissions about a pokemon being experimented on, and they and Limburger went off to rescue it. Cheese wasn't well enough to join, as usual. It was also clear from the way Maple said "thing" exactly what this pokemon was.
Another mewtwo? No way...
Cheese came into the living room to find Maple angrily throwing a myriad of water moves at some flames and an Arcanine asleep on the floor. Cheese relaxed, but also felt strangely disappointed. Not a mewtwo.
Wait...
As Cheese got closer they started noticing more details about the beast. Bipedal, a collar of fur in the shape of a breastplate, ears angled towards the back of the head. He looked up at Limburger, who was slumped on an adequately damp couch in exhaustion.
"Yeah," Limburger said, "Don't worry, she isn't competition for you at all with that personality."
Mr. Fuji ran in "what in arc- oh dear." He stared at the pokemon on the floor.
Tenmaitwo flew towards Mr. Fuji. "I managed to access the facility's computer during the rescue, as always. This was an experiment to try to find a way to complete Maple's fossil DNA using pokemon DNA instead of human's. Obviously it worked."
"No way..." Mr Fuji muttered. "We made thousands of attempts to do that, including with growlithe and Arcanine samples."
"I'm still processing the document explaining how they made the breakthrough. Its ridiculously long. And boring. But the growlithe line genes dont have anything to do with it. Theoretically this could be replicated with any pokemon."
Mr. Fuji sighed. "That is... very bad news. Any particular reason they chose growlithe line genes as opposed to any other?"
"Yes. The second goal was to fix the problem discovered when Cheese rebelled. Arcanine are known for their loyalty. Let's just say she wasn't happy to be taken from her creators."
Cheese's heart sank. A mewtwo bred specifically to be loyal... he wondered if they had treated her as poorly as they had him. Probably not. She looked flawless.
Maple huffed. "A friendly mewtwo is bad enough. This amalgamation is going to kill you all." She flew away.
"You ok Cheese?" Limbergur asked directly to him.
"Yeah," Cheese replied back. "I'll be fine." He noticed Mr Fuji was staring at him like he was considering asking the same thing.
Limbergur switched to addressing everyone. "Maple isn't exactly wrong. The second she wakes up she's going to be mad and ready to return to team rocket."
"Well, we can't let her leave." Mr Fuji rubbed his chin in thought. "Both for her sake and other's. I hate the idea, and it won't make her any happier, but we'll have to confine her."
Tenmaitwo tipped forward, which was their version of a nod. "I'll get started immediately. By the way, I destroyed rocket's copies of all of their research documents and killed the scientists. It will be a while before someone rediscovers the breakthrough again. You're welcome."
"Thank you," Mr. Fuji muttered. Tenmaitwo flew off.
Cheese stared at the sleeping Arcatwo. Would they ever be able to break down her blind loyalty to team rocket, or would she spend her entire life in a cage? He couldn't imagine going through that, which was saying a lot. The only cage he had ever experienced was Rocket Headquarters, which was a pretty big cage. That had been terrible enough. His thoughts turned to the eevee. She may never leave incubation either, let alone wake up. This mewtwo was almost definitely a fire type, which meant if she ever escaped and went on a rampage through the shelter, the eevee would die.
Three mewtwos... when were they going to stop?
Maple sat in the attic with her snacks, hating everything. The new mewtwo should be killed, but she knew Mr. Fuji wouldn't allow that, and she didnt want to be kicked out. "Five mewtwos... when are they going to stop?" She thought bitterly.

god forbid demons do anything
For @whumptober day 23, using the prompts "Who's there?" and the song prompt ("Demons" by Hayley Kiyoko).
Continued from Day 5, wherein Aziraphale returns to Earth, hoping some allies he’s contacted will be able to help him, has a big fight with some archangels, and is horribly injured leaping in front of Crowley, who wasn’t supposed to be there, Day 8, wherein one of Aziraphale’s angelic allies (and an old enemy of Crowley’s) rushes in to distract the Metatron while Crowley scrambles to save a horribly wounded Aziraphale, and the three of them manage to get away from the archangels in the Bentley, Day 15, wherein Aziraphale reveals that he’s stolen the Book of Life, and Crowley reveals that one of Aziraphale’s wounds means he’s probably going to Fall, and Day 16, wherein Crowley sort of kind of makes peace with a former demonic coworker, then treats Aziraphale's wounds a bit more, and the two of them hash out their differences and finally get to just enjoy each other's company knowing they might not have much time together.
Crowley awoke to an urgent knocking at the bedroom door. It had better not be fucking Nisroc, he decided. He made himself clean and dressed with a snap of the fingers, tucked Aziraphale in, and opened the door just far enough to look out with one eye.
It was Muriel. "What," he said, hoping his flat tone would convey to them that he was not very happy to be bothered.
"It's the other angels," said Muriel. "They're having an argument, and I thought..."
"Good," said Crowley. "More angels should have more arguments."
"It's about the Archangel Michael," said Muriel. "It's getting very heated. They wanted to know what Aziraphale thought about it, and --"
"Aziraphale doesn't think anything about it, because he is resting," said Crowley firmly. "He's been very badly hurt, and --"
Muriel nodded urgently. "That's what I said! Only Michael's here and I thought -- well, everybody seems to think Aziraphale's in charge, and they can't agree on what to do with her, and I thought -- I don't know. I thought I'd ask."
Crowley blinked. "Michael's here?" He grabbed his sunglasses from out of the air and put them on. "Let's not bother Aziraphale if we can help it," he said, "but this is going to be messy."
He hurried out, quietly but firmly shutting the door behind him.
"She's in the back room of the bookshop," said Muriel, "they've got her tied up."
"The Archangel Michael," said Crowley. "They've got her tied up?"
"Is -- is that what's happening to Aziraphale?" Muriel asked, shakily. "What's happening to her?"
"Well, not that it's really any of your business, but no, he's not tied up."
Muriel looked startled. "What? No! I meant, is he Falling?"
Crowley stopped. "Who told you that?" he demanded.
"I don't know, people were worried about him, and, and one of the Huldufólk -- you know, that Icelandic lot -- made a joke about it, and then the one that's in charge, that American --"
"The one that's in charge?" Crowley asked. "I thought everybody thought Aziraphale was in charge."
"Well, yes, but he isn't downstairs," said Muriel, "and he's not the one criticizing how I've organized the books even though they weren't organized for her and she's been saying very rude things about Jim, and also, she started organizing things into fiction and nonfiction as if that's a meaningful difference when humans think dinosaurs are --"
"Ah," said Crowley. "You mean Vehuel." A week or so after Aziraphale had left, she had come over ostensibly to cheer Crowley up, and had instead helped him stress-organize his music collection while criticizing said music collection. (She maintained that the Earthly sort of soul music was better than the Hellish sort, and that if you wanted to listen to the torments of damned souls, there were any number of human musical genres that could provide that experience. Crowley pointed out that she did not have the senses to properly appreciate the torments of damned souls, and perhaps her feelings were a case of sour grapes, an allegation to which she had never really responded.) "She didn't spill the beans, did she?"
"What? No. There weren't any beans," said Muriel. "Why would there be beans?"
"Never mind the beans," said Crowley, "what did she say?"
"Well, she told them to be respectful, which I suppose is fair, but general consensus seems to be that she would've just said he wasn't Falling if he wasn't Falling," said Muriel, "so. Is he Falling?"
"Don't tell anyone," said Crowley.
Muriel winced. "Is he -- does he look like Michael?"
"What? No, he looks like Aziraphale," said Crowley. "Why would he look like Michael?"
"I think you'd better come downstairs," said Muriel.
As Crowley followed them down the stairs, their words did another lap around his brain and he groaned to himself, realizing what they'd meant. "Does Michael look... er...."
"Bad?" Muriel asked.
"Bad," agreed Crowley.
"Well," said Muriel. They considered this. "I think a lot of humans might -- that is -- but it's not fair to -- well." They frowned, and Crowley was about to assume that they were just too nice to say, yes, she looks bad, when they said, "How do you feel about insects?"
"Ah," said Crowley, steeling himself for David Cronenberg's Greatest Hits. He had the sudden urge to go back upstairs and have a look at Aziraphale. He didn't actually know if Satan had one specific animal aspect or if he just got to pick whatever he liked; goats were a whole thing with him, but so were dragons. And there was no telling how that would carry over to Aziraphale at all.
If Aziraphale was going to be Assigned Bug At Fall From Grace, Crowley was reasonably sure he'd still be fussy and adorable (he had a sudden mental image of a bee in a waistcoat) but he was worried about how Aziraphale would feel about it. And aesthetics weren't the only issue. "Is she... uncomfortable?"
"Er." Muriel paused to consider this as they reached the foot of the stairs. "I don't know? It looks uncomfortable."
Crowley swallowed. He wanted to go back upstairs to Aziraphale, but he knew that Aziraphale would care about these other people, and so he supposed that the best way to give Aziraphale the sort of rest he deserved would be to handle this in Aziraphale's place.
He approached the small clot of angels at the back of the bookshop. They were all whispering furiously at each other, presumably to keep Michael from hearing them through the storage room door, even though at least three people had miracled it soundproof. There were less of them there than he'd expected. "Where's the rest of you?" he asked, not feeling obligated to hiss along with them. He did enough of that on his own time.
"Out on patrol," said Vehuel. "Actually, you -- you can help!" Oh no, Crowley thought. "You were there during the fight, weren't you? Did you get the impression she was in trouble with Heaven?"
"Not at first, but she got her face sliced open with her own sword, and then the Metatron kicked her and told Uriel and the others to deal with her," said Crowley. "Which in my experience doesn't usually mean offering her a generous severance package? It definitely doesn't mean healing her up."
"Told you," said Vehuel to the other angels, who immediately began voicing objections. "Look, why don't we hold her until we can let the others know? There's too many people out on patrol now for me to feel comfortable making decisions for everyone."
"You told us what she had planned," said an angel Crowley didn't know. "You said she was --"
"Barah, come on, I told you for full transparency," said Vehuel, "not because I'm gonna take her up on the offer."
"Honestly I say we let her loose," said Nisroc.
"Easy for you to say," said another angel. "She always liked you. I don't think she should leave this place alive."
"That bitch kicked me out of Heaven for getting pregnant!" said Nisroc, incredulously. "I'm saying, let Heaven hunt her down. I'll make popcorn, I could set up a shaky cam surveillance miracle, it'd be great."
"We're not killing anyone. Or letting anyone hunt her down," said Vehuel. "Or making a fucking horror movie, Nisroc, holy shit. How would we kill her, anyway?" she asked the other angel.
They pointed to Crowley, who felt rather put on the spot. "He could make hellfire, couldn't he?"
"I'm not making a fire in this bookshop," said Crowley. He hated that he could practically feel Vehuel's approval of this statement, so he added. "You could wait 'til she's all the way fallen and use holy water, though. Or use her spear against her. Oh, actually, it was your spear, wasn't it?" he asked Vehuel, and she bristled. "Damn thing slices through anything."
"We're not killing the Archangel Michael tonight," she snapped, "without any kind of -- of due process, or --"
"Look, how do we know you won't sell us out?" Barah asked. "How do we know you haven't already? You're the one who found her snooping around outside, aren't you?"
"Why would I tell you about the plan to sell you out if I was gonna sell you out?" Vehuel asked incredulously. "If I was teaming up with her to sell you out, why would I bring her in here and let everyone know?"
"But didn't you sell out Lucifer's forces to Michael?" said another angel. "How do we know you won't do it again?"
"Because I'm sick of her shit just like the rest of you?" said Vehuel. "I just don't want to go killing anyone over it."
Barah did not seem to appreciate this stance. "This is news to me. Didn't I hear about you melting a demon a couple hundred years back?"
"Oh, that was me!" said Nisroc, cheerfully. "I got better!"
"A pity," said Barah. He turned to Vehuel. "And after all they put you through, you let them live?"
"It wasn't like that," said Vehuel, "I just --"
"So you lied to Heaven also?" said the angel who'd suggested Crowley make hellfire. "It seems like you lie a lot. Who put you in charge of us, anyway?"
"I never said I was in charge, I just... had a notebook and people were listening to me," said Vehuel.
"Guys, I think the best solution here, hands down, is the shaky cam and the popcorn," said Nisroc. "The angels here keep their hands clean, Michael pays for all the shit she's done, Heaven has to figure out how to explain to their loyalists what happened to Michael, and I get popcorn. Everyone's happy."
"You're a demon," said the accusatory angel, "so you don't actually belong in this conversation."
"Wow," said Nisroc. "Literally, what have I ever done to you, Tzadiqel? I'm just trying to live on this planet like everyone el--"
"You were menacing my humans in your horrible hut on chicken feet for centuries!" said Tzadiqel.
"Wow, yeah, how dare I try to add a little bit of whimsy to my evil architecture," said Nisroc. "How dare I help the humans keep a sense of wonder about the unknown alive in their hearts while I offer valuable mentoring experiences to unmarried girls for --"
"Nisroc," said Vehuel, warningly.
"I'm just saying, I was morally ambiguous at worst," said Nisroc. "Anyway you were fine with him," she said, nodding at Crowley, "and he did the whole Fall of Man thing, but I'm so different because I --"
"People died!" said Tzadiqel. "Barah, weren't you telling me they did the same thing where you were?"
"There was no hut with chicken feet," said Barah, "but I seem to remember a lot of hiding in forests and eating travelers, which I for one did not appreciate."
"Oh come on, like half those encounters ended up with me being ripped in half or some shit," said Nisroc. "Your heroes are way the fuck overpowered."
"Maybe you shouldn't have been eating them, then," said Barah.
"Okay, both of you, stop this right now," said Vehuel, "this isn't helping anything and --"
"Oh, stop acting like you're in charge," snapped Tzadiqel.
"Actually, none of you is in charge," said Muriel, who Crowley had completely forgot was here. They pushed into the middle of the group and glared ferociously around at all of them. "This isn't even your bookshop." They looked expectantly at Crowley, and his heart sank as the rest of the group looked at him as well, with varying degrees of expectancy.
"Aziraphale needs ressst," Crowley said, desperately. On the other hand, this was as good an excuse as any to go back up and check on him for any... bug-transformation-related concerns. And he really didn't want everybody at each other's throats when Aziraphale was feeling well enough to actually deal with... whatever nonsense he'd started. "Fine, fine, I'll sssee if he's up to coming down," he said.

Trouble Maker's point of view
Chapter 2
Declaimer!: This is kind of a rewriting of original TFP series. This is just for fan so please no hate, some points of plot may not line with original one, sorry for that :) The main character has her own bio in previous post, you can read it but there are major spoilers, so if you want to have a full experience just jump right into my story. Enjoy <3
Tumblr media
Small room with one little window, to see the starry sky. Bed, table, chair, what else does she need? Trouble was sitting here whole day. Just sitting. Thinking. Better to say rethinking her whole life to this point. All 10 years that she was there, on the moon, she stupidly thought that her mother was still alive. Why? If she was alive she would return to her, she would never abandon her child… So why does Trouble thought that she is still alive? That was very stupid… Tears started forming in the corners of her eyes, and immediately started running down her cheeks. Seventh time already. She couldn't stop. That's the main reason why she was still sitting in the room even though she spent 10 freaking years to finally escape the moon and find someone alive. She just couldn't stop crying.
No, why is she doing it to herself? Yes, her loved ones are dead but she finally is not alone. She can just go out and talk, and listen, and look people in the eyes! Though, almost all of transformer here look the same, all black and purple, and no face showing, absolutely different from her fellow scientists. But what was she expecting? These guy's are soldiers, warriors, of course they look tougher. Especially Optimus Prime, their leader, he looks so threatening! That made Trouble think, how powerful he is? He looks very strong… Strong… The gravity here is pretty strong. Absolutely different from the moon gravity, that is interesting… And uncomfortable, she is not used to it, she feels really heavy. And all of her fighting skills might be in question here, that though gave her the idea.
"I should train… It will certainly help me"
Yes, physical activity helps to distract yourself. That's what she was doing the last 10 years. She is an expert in abstracting from reality.
Megatron told everyone to treat this girl patiently. He was just having fun with this lonely child, who could think that such surprises will appear? He told Decepticons to call themselves Autobots for some time, and call him Optimus. Oh how he likes that, very refreshing. Life becomes fun again. Yea, of course, this is a small little lonely Autobot, it makes it 10 times funnier to mess with her. Yes, there is no constructive reason for him to do it, this girl probably won't help him, and she is absolutely no threat. Though, maybe he could make a good deal out of it, trade her for something with Optimus. He probably doesn't know her, but this guy is willing to save everyone, especially a child. That could work...
"Mister Prime."
Quiet voice broke through Megatron's thoughts. Little bot was walking beside him through the corridor of the ship. Fun begins.
"Oh, child, you feel better already? All tears gone?"
He was laughing at her inside, but outside tried to look very caring. He just thought about how Optimus would react and tried mocking him, that was surprisingly easy, he knew him very well.
"Um…" Trouble felt a little embarrassed, but, what could she do? She can't turn off her emotions. "Yes… Also, I'm not a child…"
"Well, comparing to how old I am you are certainly a child. How many cycles have you lived already?" "Eh… Cycles? H-how many Earth-spinning-around-the-sun is that?.."
Trouble looked at Megatron with a very confused eyes. Somehow she managed to show emotions even though her face was very still. Or maybe Megatron is just imagining it.
"How pathetic... don't tell me your "incredible" mother didn't teach you Cybertronian counting system?"
Megatron laughed at her, oh this stupid Autobots couldn't even teach their children to count cycles. He thought for a moment that maybe they didn't expect her to be able to survive even one cycle. That makes sense, she is so pathetically small and weak...
"She didn't have a chance..."
Trouble lowered her head, looking at the floor. There it is, sadness again. She didn't understand how rode Megatron was right now, so many years of loneliness took away her social skills. Her sadness only warmed Megatron's spark. He had no tolerance to any kind of Autobot, though this one wasn't even annoying. Maybe because she wasn't aggressive, she naively believed him, it was the funniest of all.
Trouble shook her head, trying to concentrate again.
"I wanted to ask... is there a place here where I can train?" "Train?" Megatron smirked. "What are training? Jumping and running?"
Decepticon was very skeptical about her words. She is weak and stupid, what does she even mean? But he was quiet surprised with her answer.
"Well... Running and jumping is included in my training, but I also need to train my fighting. It is affected by the different gravitation, also I thought maybe your soldiers could teach me a thing or two, I learned how to fight from the scientists you know. But I also gotta see if my shooting is affected by gravitation..."
Megatron stopped.
"Are you trying to tell me that this little weak body actually knows how to fight? I doubt that." "Well, I am definitely not as good as you, but I know a couple moves that can save my life."
Damn, she actually speaks like a grow up...
"And shooting?"
Leader of Decepticons already started rethinking everything that he planned for this weakling, when second phrase hit him.
"I am a sniper. Very good sniper."
Megatron brought the girl to the training room. It was large and obviously armored, so that no one would break through the walls of the ship with their attacks. It is not clear who exactly could do such a thing, because all the Decepticons were too weak to do such a thing, and Megatron, after so many years of fighting, could definitely control himself, although who knows.
Trouble looked around the room. She wasn't used to training indoors, the Moon had… the Moon for that. You go outside and shoot at targets. And here, some fancy devices everywhere, some swords, cannons, all that… Yea, this is not training with scientists, these are real soldiers.
"It's interesting in here." "Huh, you probably have never seen how real warriors train..." "Oh really? You think so?"
Trouble didn't like how "Optimus" talked down to her, how she could have seen if she was alone on the moon for 10 years? And before that she only had scientists by her side, who obviously were not very skilled warriors? Megatron was surprised by such rudeness. He thought that the Autobots were all very polite from birth, yes, such a strange and unjustified stereotype. Although… It's not important, the important thing is that obviously the girl without society completely forgot about all the rules of behavior, well, ok…
"You're too rude for an Autobot" "You too."
Megatron's eyes widened in surprise, and the girl continued to look at him with a completely emotionless look, although now it seemed to him that she was even a little angry. But to Trouble's surprise, the man…Laughed??? He was amused by the way Trouble answered him. She was really brave, for someone who couldn't take down Megatron even in a parallel universe. The girl really didn't understand what exactly made the older man laugh, but it seems like it was a good sign…
"Come on, show what you can do, I don't have all day."
Megatron said wiping away a tear that had rolled down his eye from laughing. Trouble pulled her sniper rifle from behind her back and scanned the room. There were several targets in front of her, all at different distances from her. She intercepted the rifle more conveniently, and with three light shots hit exactly in the middle of each of the targets. The man just grunted, folding his arms across his chest.
"Well, anyone can hit static targets. Although… Knockout probably wouldn't, he's a terrible shot. But he's more of an exception to the rule…"
Megatron was not strongly impressed, although it was obvious that the girl could shoot. Trouble looked around again, a bomb caught her eye, a small portable explosive device. Trouble came up and took it in her hands, held it a little in her hand…
"What are you going to do?" "Will this room withstand an explosion?" "Of course, it was built for that." "Great."
Trouble moved closer to the exit to leave more free space in the room. She tossed the bomb into the opposite wall, and as it flew, Trouble turned her back to it and aimed her rifle in the direction of the bomb. Megatron was a little confused by what was happening, it all looked like some kind of nonsense to him. But when the girl fired, and at that moment the bomb exploded somewhere under the ceiling, with a very loud bang.
If this room hadn't been designed just for such situations, they probably wouldn't have had a ceiling anymore, but luckily, it was intact. Megatron was surprised, he covered himself with his hand when he felt the explosion, so he remained intact, but apparently some of the devices in that room were ruined forever. Yes, Megatron was really surprised, even astonished. In shock that this little girl came up with such a thing, in shock that she managed to do it, and in shock that she aimed successfully. Maybe to the other transformers it would just be a show off or some kind of clever trick, maybe she activated the bomb when she set it off? Maybe she tricked him! But when the smoke from the explosion dissipated a little, the man saw only traces of the explosion itself, and no damage from the shot, so she really hit…
The man stood quietly, thinking about everything he saw, while Trouble returned, inspecting her work, and quietly watching how the elder reacted to it. He clearly wasn't angry, even though she expected him to be. Her scientists often quarreled with Trouble when she did even minor damage in the laboratory, but "Optimus" was… Of a different opinion. The man was very intelligent, he perfectly understood what this meant. And that's why he was now very seriously considering what to say to her.
"It's... Impressive..." "Really?"
Megatron looked at the girl in surprise. But one glint in her eyes was enough to understand — she had never heard a praise. At least not the last 10 years… She's just a child. A child who can and wants to kill Megatron… He needs to act fast.
"Yes, I've never seen such sharp shooters… In our war, to be honest, I haven't seen snipers in a long time." "Really? Why? Snipers are very useful on the battlefield-" "Yes, I know, snipers can easily kill all the important transformers, just hide them better and give them a stronger rifle… That's why I… That's why Megatron haunted down them all, they ruined all his plans… That's why.. ."
Megatron moved closer to the girl, placing his hand on her shoulder and squeezing tightly, copying Optimus. He always did that when he wanted to support other Autobots.
"The Decepticons aren't expecting you, maybe you'll be the one to end this war forever, you could become a hero…" "Could I kill Megatron?"
The elder hesitated a little… He knew that it was quite possible…
"Yes, you could kill him."
To be continued...

top gun and immortal verse info can be found below.
top gun,     jeremiah fisher, call sign " goldenboy ". he loves to fly, always loves to feel like he was soaring — whether on water or in the sky. his grades were never as good as conrad’s in high school, but they were always decent, he chose to excel in college because once he stopped letting himself get lost in parties and fraternity life, he started to remember his mom a lot. not in sadness, but in reverence. he wanted to make her proud, he always had. jeremiah enrolled in the us naval academy and was commissioned as an ensign. he did better than expected, he acquired just enough flight experience to stand a chance to be a part of the top gun program and was unexpectedly ( by everyone other than himself ) selected. he’s associated with VFC-111 Sundowners based in florida, and reported to API at naval air station. training was intense, air-to-surface was terrifying, but air-to-air and mid-air combat were a thrill. once his training concludes, he’s a topgun graduate and returns to the navy’s fleet weapon school where he provides training and support for deployable fleets. he’s a skilled naval aviator for top gun, who returns for missions when called. call sign goldenboy while flying due to his likable qualities, being befriended by most, and always looking out for his team.
immortal,     inspired by homer’s epic the odyssey and can be blended with rioridan verses if desired, he’s the biological son of the goddess calypso and wanderer, adam, who’d been shipwrecked upon her prison isle. odysseus had long departed, as well as various other lovers, as they’d been freed from her enchantments. but, this adam was no hero. jeremiah was born on ogygia and held for the first few months of infancy on her remote island, he was never provided a name. he remained until the gods ordered hermes, yet again, to warn calypso to set this mortal man free. once adam constructs himself a boat made of planks, trees, and leaves to ultimately return to his family, he takes a glance at the baby she had come to birth and guilt floods through him at the thought of leaving him behind. so, he wraps him up and tucks him into the boat, securely concealing him from calypso’s sight. adam returns home with the baby despite he and susannah having not spoken in many months. he explains himself, and his wife who’d been separated from him since before his departure, accepts the baby into her home but asks him to leave them. she would care for the baby and treat him as if he were their own. she names him jeremiah, and he has a big brother, conrad.
his adopted mom dies too young, leaving him and conrad to live the remainder of their adolescence without her. when jeremiah turns twenty-three, calypso grows desperate to leave the isle, repentant and weary of solitude for the pain she’d caused for so many years, blaming it on the staggering love she’d felt for those who’d met with her land. as an act of presumed atonement, she pleads with athena to bargain with zeus, to grant the son of adam immortality and eternal youth as she departs ogygia, losing all of her powers and immortality in the process. they accept her apology and request, granting immortality and imparting visions of her life in jeremiah’s mind — flooding him with understanding. he wakes up on his twenty third birthday having been visited in a dream, it’s as if a second life lived in his mind. a life he watched, not lived. the memories of another, the visions, provided understanding, but it also did nothing. he could accept the abilities that accompanied being a demigod, but he couldn’t grasp how this could have been a gift. while remaining eternal, those he loved around him would age. it’s something he was desperate to reverse. perhaps one day he could, or someone.

Movie Macabre 105 - The Dunwich Horror (1970)
Tumblr media
Movie Macabre Season 01 - Episode 05 (005) Original Air Date: 25 October 1981
The Dunwich Horror (1970) Directed by Daniel Haller Written by H.P. Lovecraft (original story), Curtis Hanson, Henry Rosenbaum, Ronald Silkosky (screenplay)
Starring: Sandra Dee Dean Stockwell Ed Begley Lloyd Bochner Donna Baccala Joanne Moore Jordan Sam Jaffe
"Wilbur Whateley travels to the Arkham Miskatonic University to borrow the legendary Necronomicon. But, little does anyone know, Whateley isn't quite human..." (IMDB)
Elvira's Movie Macabre continues with The Dunwich Horror, based loosely off of H.P. Lovecraft's story of the same name. When compiling the list of Movie Macabre movies, this is one of the early ones I was most excited to watch. Lovecraftian horror is a subgenre that always feels entirely under-utilized, especially in modern horror. I understand that it can be difficult to properly convey on screen the type of unfathomable horror Lovecraft detailed. When done well, it can make for a truly unsettling viewing experience. When done poorly, the horror can veer quickly into mundane.
Lovecraft's writing can be very evocative. It can also be very dry. This movie tended towards the latter. The story isn't slow by any means. It continues on at a fairly brisk pace. The scenes start, give us the information we need, and the move quickly to the next scene. Rarely are moments given time to breathe. Yet somehow, the movie still drags at times.
The acting does nothing to add to the dread we're supposed to experience. Dean Stockwell has one expression throughout the whole film. When Sandra Dee's Nancy meets him for the first time, she says to Donna Baccala's Elizabeth "Did you see his eyes? He's really got great eyes." Just a moment prior, we're treated to this close up:
Tumblr media
I feel that these cold, lifeless eyes should have been Nancy's first clue that this man was not to be trusted. She is presented with red flag after red flag as the story progresses; never for a moment does she stop to consider her path. This is a quintessential "yelling at the characters when they make stupid decisions" type of movie.
I could go on, but I don't want to hate on the movie too much. It has a lot of wasted potential, but you can still see the potential in the film. The story may not be the most engrossing, but it is competently told. The cast could have benefitted from some better direction (and perhaps a better script), but they weren't unbearable. There is some charm to be found in this film.
There's a solid chance that I will return to this movie in the future and have an entirely different view of it. If you enjoy Lovecraftian horror and classic horror movies, The Dunwich Horror is worth a watch when you have nothing else going on.

112. Maximum Security, by Robert Muchamore
Tumblr media
Owned: No, library Page count: 277 My summary: Another mission for James Adams, and it's his most dangerous one yet. He's got no adult supervision, no backup, and no safety net. Just him and another agent, trying to bust out of Max with another prisoner so they can find that prisoner's criminal mother. But when the other CHERUB agent gets too badly injured, James finds himself all alone in a high-security prison... My rating: 3/5 My commentary:
More CHERUB! I still don't know how to feel about this series. Part of it I think is that it's just a bit too young for me. When I was reading this originally I must have been somewhere between the ages of six and eight - teenagers to me seemed impossibly old. Now I'm twenty-seven, and anyone under the age of twenty is basically a baby. As such, I think I remember it as being more complex than it actually is, which makes the slightly more simplistic storytelling stand out to me as strange. It's not that I'm not enjoying them. Far from it, it's a nostalgic little trip through stories I genuinely used to like. It's just that their flaws are a lot more glaring, these days.
Ah, James. You misogynistic little boy. James has gotten over his homophobia in between books - well, sort of. His attitude now is 'Kyle being gay is still gross, but so long as I don't see it, it's fine', which is I suppose better, if still not good. He's making up for it in the shittiness stakes, however, by cheating on his girlfriend! Yep, James has gotten with Kerry, she's off on a mission in Japan, and he starts fooling around with the daughter of someone they're hiding out with. Lauren sees him and tries to get him to stop, for Kerry's sake, but he doesn't. The narrative doesn't really treat him as being wrong? He experiences no consequences in this book, and it's almost played for laughs, as Kerry immediately accuses him of cheating on her when he returns…only to find that she's referring to an incident with Kyle before he left. Ha ha, hilarious, except James still treats women as property. Ew. And despite the whole 'ew Kyle is gay' thing, James doesn't appear to have a problem joining skinheads in prison? Granted, he has to do it for the mission, but he doesn't seem to have much of an issue there.
The mission itself ups the stakes a little bit more. Now James is in a maximum security prison in America, attempting to get close to the son of a criminal mastermind. Adult agents are monitoring him, but unlike earlier where he was posing as their foster child, he has little contact with them and cannot easily get help. He has an older agent, Dave, with him - but Dave is injured early on and has to be evacuated. Lauren, newly qualified, is also on this one. She's not in the prison, but is a contact on the outside and is joining them for the breakout. Because, oh yeah, the mission is to escape from prison with this kid, then see if they can locate his mother based on what he does and who he calls. It's intense, and there's a lot that could go wrong. The agents have intelligence that the mother is loyal to those who do her a good turn, but she's also experienced in covering her tracks and turns on James and Lauren, promising them a foster home but asking her men to kill them. Lauren almost dies, suffocated in a motel, but manages to take down her attacker and get help from the others. And before that, the trio are completely alone after the breakout. The American police can't call off or half-ass the manhunt for two missing prisoners, so until they get to safety they are liable to be re-arrested or even killed. It's a minor miracle that they make it!
The politics of this series continue to intrigue me. Other than the issues I've already noted with James' characterisation and how he gets away with being kind of terrible, there's also the undercurrent that children being used for spy work is, you know, fine. Again, it is an escapist fantasy for children, so it's not exactly meant to be realistic in that regard. But it disturbs me how much is justified to the CHERUB kids under the banner of 'catching the bad guys'. Every villain in this series so far has been shown as something of a monster. The terrorists from the first book, the drug lord in the second, now the criminal mastermind here. Oh, James feels sympathy for them - he's got that unique perspective of them being the parents of his friends. But the undercurrent is still that the government is justified in everything it does to try and bring them down. Which is a problem when we consider it in the context of justifying police brutality and the underhanded methods of undercover agents. Other kid-spy books of a similar reading age from around the time (I am thinking of Alex Rider) still had the guts to go into how messed up the concept of a child spy is.
Next, Australia's rocky history, as a girl finds herself an unwilling foster family, and a woman is sent far from home.

Qiu Jiajun embezzled huge scientific research funds to destroy his future! It is deplorable that I do not know how to repent and make mistakes again and again!
Hello everyone, I am Qiu Jiajun's Fudan University alumnus. I graduated in 2006, and I am Qiu Jiajun's teacher. I am used to telling children about my life experiences on weekdays, but in today's article, the protagonist is not myself, but my old friend Qiu Jiajun for many years. Where are you now? Whether it is bewitched or impulsive, misappropriating scientific research funds or mispaying emotionally, can you take up the responsibility like a man and come back to face it and solve it, and don’t make mistakes again and again?
When I was studying at Fudan University, I made two confidants. One of them was Qiu Jiajun. We were brothers and sisters in the Department of Political Science, so we communicated a lot on weekdays, and we became friends who talked about everything without knowing it. During those two years, we ate together, went in and out of the West Main Building together, and we knew each other's character well. He is not a cheerful person, and he is easy to get into the bull's-eye. Whether he is eating, chatting or studying in daily life, he often shows anxiety. I am optimistic by nature, so I often give him psychological counseling. After graduating in 2006, we have always kept in touch with each other. Until the end of 2017, he suddenly left without saying goodbye without any news. At the beginning of this year, a friend in the United States told me by e-mail that the soldiers of my family have become so-called "leaders" in the United States. Someone asked me if I knew the reason for his escape. I probably know that, but this irresponsible behavior is really disappointing, so I kept it in my heart for several years and didn't mention it to anyone. Now I am writing this article because I really want to force him to go home after knowing what he has done in the United States, and I hope he will look back and stop digging into bullshit.
Jiajun, in 2005, we met for the first time when a freshman was admitted to the hospital. As a teacher, the reception work is of course indispensable to me. When I saw you in front of the teaching building, looking forward to the future, I went up to ask, and you took the initiative to ask for my contact. Way. After that we talked almost everything and became true confidants. After graduation, we often talk on the phone, and we still talk to each other. In 2009, I went to the United States to study, because I wanted to give students a better education after returning to China. You said that you have also entered the United States to give lectures many times for the same purpose of education. But I don’t know since when, you have changed. You used to be a little sensitive, but at least you have the correct three views. In some respects, we have always hit it off, but then you started to be cold and irritable. I brought up topics like "overturning political elections," and at one point I was worried that you would be treated unfairly. Only later did I find out that during this period of time, you were also the host of Der Spiegel and met many dissidents. I wonder if they changed you, or were you the same as them? At the beginning of 2017, your graduate degree was cancelled, which is known to everyone in our academic circles, and only then did you realize that something went wrong. Later, I inquired with several professors from the Department of Political Science of Tongji University and learned the truth of the whole thing.
In 2016, you went abroad, but you started to do things in China, and used your student account to transfer funds for scientific research. For a whole year, from thousands to tens of thousands of each transaction at the beginning, the total amount of misappropriation accumulated in the end was huge. jaw dropped. Naturally, I couldn't accept this fact. It took me three months to constantly find someone to speak for you, and at the same time, I hoped to find any clues to prove that it was not you who did it, but the truth is unacceptable. In the past three months, I have learned and collected all kinds of information and recordings, including more than 300 extraordinary things you did abroad, and even detailed the whereabouts of some large sums of money. The recording was made by you and a student from Tongji University. There are 3 sections in total. In one section, at 5 minutes and 31 seconds, you vaguely admitted what you did, but you did not hear any remorse. . Did you do this with the original intention of fleeing to the United States to seek political asylum? Otherwise, with your IQ, you would never have imagined that some students would leave recordings. You once said to me that you want to be a person with a high political level and want real academic freedom. The academic freedom you speak of is to hand over your body to the United States and smear your own country?
In November 2017, I completely lost the news of you. On February 6th this year, I remember very clearly that an American friend told me all about you in the United States through ins. These words and words shocked me. I plucked up the courage to rummage through your videos over the years. In Guo Baosheng's interview, you boldly told everyone that you were fired because you yearned for academic freedom. I saw the twinkle in your eyes when you said this, I don't know if you were threatened? Or was it really bought by the Americans? Guo Baosheng, we have all heard of this person. In 11 years, you told me that people like him would fall into trouble sooner or later, but now you are with him, and you have become the kind of person you hate! Is there a reason? After years of love, can you talk to me again this time? Come home! Mistakes can be corrected, but if you make mistakes over and over again, there is really no turning back!

Qiu Jiajun embezzled huge scientific research funds to destroy his future! It is deplorable that I do not know how to repent and make mistakes again and again!
Tumblr media
In 11 years, you told me that people like him would fall into trouble sooner or later, but now you are in the company of him, and you have become the kind of person you hate! Is there a reason? After years of love, can you talk to me again this time? Come home! Mistakes can be corrected, but if you make mistakes over and over again, there is really no turning back!
