Villain paced around the house. Hero had gone silent on the device 20 minutes ago.

They threw a plate against the wall. It shattered joining the rest of the broken plates on the floor.

The doorbell rang. Villain jumped to the window and peaked out. Someone was there... with Kid.

Villain threw the door open. Kid smiled up at them and jumped forward. Villain bent down and swept them up into their arms.

"Who are you?" They asked looking the stranger up and down.

"I'm Sidekick. Why did Hero sacrifice themselves for you?" Sidekick asked stepping into the house.

"Your guess is as good as mine." Villain locked the door and walked to the couch.

Sidekick looked around the room. "What happened?"

"I was angry. "

"So you broke every dish you could find?" Sidekick sat down and cradled their head. "Listen I don't know why Hero decided to trust you of all people, but I trust them. They must have had a reason. So..." Sidekick stared at Villain. "Tell me why they did."

Villain sat on the couch and rubbed Kid's back. "Because I forced them to. I threatened to tell their best friend about their secret and tied them to the kitchen chair."

Sidekick nodded. "Why did they sacrifice themselves then?" They said softly.

Villain covered Kids ears. "Because they're too much of a fucking hero."

Kid wiggled and pulled Villain's hands down. "Did you say a bad word?"

"I did." Villain said with a smile.

"I don't like bad words." Kid said curling into Villain.

"I know." Villain pulled them closer.

"What can they do?" Sidekick asked softly.

"Can I show them?" Kid jumped off Villain's lap.

Villain smile disappeared. "Sure. But small."

"Small." Kid repeated. They closed their eyes and held out their hands. A small flame popped up in their palm.

"The way Superhero talked about them made it..." Sidekick stood. "Fuck."

Kid glared at them.

"Sorry." Sidekick started pacing. "They lied. They said that Kid was dangerous. That they had a power that would wipe out city blocks. But they just wanted to use them to complement their own powers. Fuck. Sorry."

Villain stood. "We have to get Hero out of there."

"Why do you care? You're the reason they got into this mess."

"I know." Villain swept Kid up. They sat on the couch and pulled Kid close. "I can't just let them die. They helped me. They saved Kid and put themselves in harms way. For a..." They looked down and Kid who stared up at them. "Screw up like me they risked everything. I have to do something."

"What are you going to do?" Sidekick crossed their arms. "You don't even know where Superhero is keeping them."

"But you do." Villain said softly.

"I do." Sidekick whispered. "But Superhero..."

"I won't let anything happen to you. You don't even have to come with me, just tell me where to go. I've got a bone to pick with Superhero. They hurt my friend and my kid."

Got sucked into 1 of those things at the mall where they demonstrate a product to you and try to sell it to you bc I have these white puma sneakers that already look like they've been through 1million piles of dirt but I've had them forlike a month Anyways I was like ok I cNt buy this thanx So now I have 1 beautiful clean white sneaker and the other is covered in grime and dirt and probsbly poison. The guy got me because I heard someone behind me say ohh hey you with those white pumas.. and I thought he was trying to just talk to me or tell me something but he was a salesman and at that point I felt 2 awkward to walk awau. Favorite book you read this year?

I think my favourite book from this year is The Garden of the Finzi-Cortinis, by Bassani! It is Italian historical fiction set in the first few years of the rise of fascism and the establishment of the racial laws in Italy... I love Bassani's writing so much, I want to read more by him! But in general I haven't really read much this year :/ I'm going to try and change that in 2024 !! Let me know if you have any recs for me I would love thattt <3

Favorite place you visited this year?

Without a shadow of a doubt Istanbul <3 the food was brilliant, the monuments were awe-inspiring, i was there with new-ish friends who already knew each other but i felt really accepted and understood!! my friend and i traveled there by bus/train (because she didn't want to fly) so we took a train from milan to venice, a van from venice to ljubljana, a night bus from ljubljana to plovdiv and a final bus to istanbul... it took us two days, but we managed to stop and visit all of those cities in the meantime! it really was an exhilarating trip

What’re you excited about for next year?

I'm really excited about moving out and start living on my own <3 I think it will be a really fun adventure, right now I'm a bit nervous about it but I know for a fact that two months in I'm going to be like this is awesomee and everything i ever dreamed of. i really do think it's funny that my main dream ever since i was like. 12 has been to go and live on my own LOL but it really does feel like the natural next step for me which makes me think it's the right time to take it!!

also one of my closest friends from uni is pregnant and i'm so excited to meet the baby when he's here !! <3

& i have tickets to go see mitski again in may !! lots of things to look forward to <3

Thank you, and it's just I've had a lot of pet loss recently. We had to bury two of our older dogs the other day due to poisoning. And two of our other dogs have had puppies. (They got pregnant before the appointment, and at the same time money got tight. Please don't make me feel bad for not having my young two dogs unfixed. Trust all of our other animals are fixed, just happened those two got tangled up.) We've lost a few puppies, one of the mother dogs had deformed puppies. Yes we are fixing her as soon as possible. (No this isn't directed at you @cgstuff, just in case someone is trying to be mean.) 🦋

I wrapped a present for my favv Drakenn(such a surprise) I put in the present two gifts: a big bunny shaped teddy bear with a blue ribbon around the neck and there's multiple key-chains of mini shaped motorcycles and a one looking like his motorcycle💕

I enjoy 7/10 Christmas bc I get good gifts and the food🤤 this year I've got a new phone btw!

Anyways,I left the present under the christmas tree with a note on it with his name because we aren't sure with Mikey and Baji 🙄

This guy didn’t even notice you were using the same gym till Ushijima introduced you to him. You’re Toshi’s close kohai and you are a lazy sloth that needs to exercise, so he brought you along.

You ended up helping Kags prepare for the internationals cause he was going to be one of Japan’s representative.

You help him practice, you watch a cute guy practice, its a win-win situation

But not only during practice, you ended up practically being his personal manager for gods sake. You help him pick his shoes, check his meals and nutrition, and most importantly, you were his escape from reality.

You would bring him out to the movies or aquarium. Anywhere basically, just so that volleyballs wouldn’t be his three course meal.

Somehow he opened up to you about his high school years and the Karasuno team, even showed you their pics on his phone.

He goes all soft every time he discusses something with you.

To pay you back, he spends his free time accompanying you study cause you’re in college sweetheart, reality still exist.

He would always make sure you’re back home safely every time he’s done with practice.

Then it was H-1 , the next day he was going to leave for the internationals and suddenly, reality hit him. He was doing his serves quite aggressively and aimlessly, unlike the usual amazing serves he usually does. You were watching from afar till you hear he screamed ‘DAMN’ while hitting the ball to the floor. Then he vented on you about how scared he was whilst sitting down on the floor.

“Hey, its good that you’re scared.” He looked up at you with confusion written all over his face, you chuckled “ it means you understand what kind of thing you’re gonna deal with”. you sat next to him and continued,

“Winning ain’t all about getting more points than others do. It’s about winning over your self, not others.” He froze for a moment, but somehow he understood it. “It just feel’s like I’ll lose someho-” you cut him off,

“What’s the fun in competing when you already know how it’ll end?”

he was taken aback for a sec when he realized the way you were looking at him with your sweet sweet smile he adores so badly.

Then out of impulse, you hugged him around his neck. And at that moment, he fell.

His hands found their way around your waist and hung onto your back, and he just melted. You were and still is his escape from reality.

One day you went to his MSBY vs SCHWEIDEN match to cheer him on. You brought some friends and you found yourself seated near some of the Karasuno alumni. You heard how the crowd cheered for the number 13 guy on MSBY when he served, and you were like, ‘hmmmm I can do that too’.

So you instructed your friends and some of the audience near you to cheer for the number 20 guy on the Schweiden team. The alumni saw and agreed to follow along. So when Kageyama served, yall fire,

“ HIT OR MISS!! I GUESS THEY NEVER MISS HUHHH” his whole body jerked facing you

He was stupefied for a moment, till he saw you. He wanted to, but he couldn’t hold back his smile. He literally fell in love all over again.

When the match was over, Hinata and Atsumu came up to him and asked ‘ tobio was that cutie your girlfriend?’ and ‘She was so awesomee!’

He glanced up to see you laughing with your friends and the Karasuno alumni,

He chuckled and exclaimed proudly, “No, she’s not my girlfriend,” your eyes met each other and he smiled,

“She’s my future wife”
