Summary: after being with Billy for a few months, it has become clear how he shows his love for you

Physical Touch

The touches had been deliberate at the start, meant to convey the interest you two had in each other. Flirty touches of his shoulder or arm as he talked to you in the school hallways or at random parties on the weekends. Gentle touches of your lower back as he walked past you, his chest rubbing a bit on your shoulder blades, though there was room enough for him not to need to be so close.

As your relationship developed, the touches became more frequent and less subtle. His arm draped around your shoulder or his hand in your back pocket, your legs crossed on his lap or your fingers intertwined with his. No matter what, it seemed that you were connected in some way almost all the time.

Finally, when you accepted Billy’s invitation to a date and you were officially his girl, the touching didn’t stop. Not that you minded. You found it so endearing that Billy seemed to reach for you, sitting with his knee touching yours, his hand on your back, his shoulder rubbing against yours, his hand on your thigh while he drove. It also seemed he didn’t realize he was doing it most of the time. It was an unconscious pull he had to you whenever you were near. One of your favorites was when you and Billy laid together and he played with the ends of your hair, rubbing his fingers together and smoothing the bumps away. It tended to relax you so much that you had to fight to keep your eyes open, lulled by his steady heartbeat and the warmth of his body wrapped up in yours. “That feels nice, Billy.” You felt his chest vibrate as he laughed, pulling you closer and lightly scratching your scalp as you let sleep fall over you.

It meant even more to you that Billy was so comfortable being physically affectionate with you after you learned about his childhood and the physical and verbal abuse of his father. This point was driven home when you were sitting at a diner one evening, Billy’s sneakered feet rubbing yours as you sipped your milkshake. You grabbed his hand resting on the table, softly rubbing your thumb over his knuckles and giving him a soft smile. He squeezed your hand in response, wiping his mouth and making sure he had your attention.

“I’m glad you’re my girl.” Your smile immediately widened, teeth popping out.

“I am, too, Billy.” After a beat, “What made you say that?” He grabbed your other hand across the table.

“I’m just happy to have you. It feels nice that I can reach out and I know you’ll be there. Your hugs, the way you touch me, I’ve never felt that before. Usually it’s rough and my dad or a girl wants something from me. I like that you touch me and let me touch you so much because you’re happy.” You could see he was losing his nerve, pulling his hands away and preparing to put on the devil-may-care attitude that was common when with friends.

“I love you, Billy. And I love that you feel comfortable enough to share that with me. I hope I can always make you feel that way.” He looked up, smiling a little, the tension leaving his shoulders. You didn’t want to make him feel awkward by focusing on the confession too long, so you continued. “Now eat those fries before I steal some.” He chuckled and grabbed your hand again, reaching across with a fry for you.

Once he had dropped it in your mouth, he cleared his throat. “I love you, too.” You smiled widely again, squeezing his hand a little tighter.

Words of Affirmation

You were rushing to get ready, imagining the look on Billy’s face as he sat on the couch all ready to head to the party. Your hands were shaking a bit as you dusted the rose blush on your cheekbones and nose. As Billy’s girl, you could expect as always to be the center of attention for most of the night as girls looked at you in jealousy and boys looked at you while they talked with Billy. It wasn’t that you wished you weren’t with Billy, it just got tiring to have all eyes on you both.

“Are you almost ready to head ou-” as you turned towards the sound of Billy’s voice, you watched him lower the sunglasses from his eyes, dragging his baby blues down your body and back up. You could feel your cheeks get hot as he let out a low whistle. “God damn, baby, you look like that and we may never make it to that party.” He came closer and wrapped his arm around your side, his hand fanning across your lower back and with a small pull, your body was flush to his. He leaned down to press his lips to your jaw, murmuring compliments as he spread the kisses down your neck and behind your ear. “You’re so beautiful.” Kiss. “I can’t believe you’re mine.” Kiss. “So smart and kind.” Kiss. “I am the luckiest man in Hawkins.” Kiss. “I love you so much.” After this last profession, Billy pressed a soft and meaningful kiss to your lips, lingering there as his hands came to rest on your hips, giving them a squeeze.

You tilted your head to the side into the kiss, slipping your fingers in his hair and scratching a bit at his scalp before pulling away and grabbing your purse. “I’m ready to go. Let’s get this over with.” You grabbed his hand and led him out of your room.

He followed with a lovesick look on his face. “Yes, ma’am.”

Gifts

“Bill, shift your legs a little, mine are falling asleep.” You and your boyfriend were currently watching Red Dawn, your head resting on one side of the couch as Billy’s was resting on the other, legs intertwined and a thin blanket over the both of you. Sadly for you, it wasn’t quite enough to keep goosebumps from rising on your skin. Although the day had been fairly warm and you felt good in a sundress as Billy showered you in compliments all day, you were now verging on cold. Alone in the Hargrove’s house for the evening, the cool air coming in the open window was making you shiver.

Finally too distracted by the chill, you rose from the couch and shut the window, returning to curl up against Billy. You lifted the blanket, wiggled between his legs, and rested your back against his chest with the blanket up to your chin. He shifted a little and wrapped his arms around you, putting your hands in his. “Jeez, babe, your hands are freezing.” He pulled them up to his mouth, blowing warm air into your curled fingers, rubbing his palms together in an effort to bring them back to normal. You moved your feet a bit and accidentally pressed your cold toes to his bare leg. “Your feet are like ice cubes! Why didn’t you tell me you were so cold? Scoot forward, I’ll be right back.” You did as you were told and he swung his leg over your head, retreating to his room for a minute before coming back, a mess of fabric in his hands. “Here, put these on.”

You took the lump to the bathroom and laid it out, finally determining what he had given you. A cozy pair of his sweatpants, a long-sleeved henley shirt, and a pair of thick socks. Humming, you slipped your clothes off and changed into his, surrounded by the smell of cologne and a hint of smoke. You grabbed your things, dumped them next to your purse in the living room, and crawled back under the blanket with Billy.

“Feeling better?” He rubbed his hands down your arms.

“Much. Thank you.” You turned your head, pressing a kiss to his lips before settling to watch the rest of the movie.

A while later when the movie was finished and it was time for Billy to drive you home, you explained you would return his clothes the following day. “Keep them. They look better on you anyway. My gift to you, so you don’t freeze your ass off anymore.” You giggled and grabbed your things, admiring how loving Billy was to you.

Acts of Service

It was a bit of a tradition that had developed where Billy would climb up the trellis to the roof outside your bedroom window, tapping lightly so you would let him in. You loved when he did this and never asked why. He loved that about you - you didn’t need a reason or an explanation, you were there with a smile and a kiss, ready to snuggle and whisper until the morning.

This particular night was a bit different than usual. When he began the climb to your room, he could see the window was already open, likely because it was a cool night and the breeze felt nice on your skin. Smiling as he thought about seeing you, he peeked in the window and saw something that warmed his heart. The light next to your bed was on and illuminated the pile of books and clothes around your room as you slept in the middle of your bed, a notebook still open on your lap.

Billy let out a breathy chuckle as he quietly climbed in, careful not to wake you. He shrugged off his jacket and slipped off his shoes, placing them by the window. Who knew a girl who so lovingly helped Billy clean his room when Neil rode his ass about it would be able to make such a mess herself. He knew from your recent conversations that school was kicking your ass at the moment and it seemed cleaning was taking a backseat for the time being. He looked at the soft rise and fall of your chest, your tangled hair, and the pout of your mouth for a minute before getting to work. He gathered empty water bottles and crumpled up pieces of paper, throwing them in the small garbage can under your nightstand. He collected the school books that lay in a halo around you, gently lifting your hand to grab the notebook and pen you had been writing with before nodding off. Placing those on the top of your dresser in a neat pile, he went into the hall to grab a laundry basket.

After Billy had picked up the discarded clothes on your bed and floor, as well as those in your hamper, he tiptoed to the basement to throw the load in for you. Carefully avoiding the creaky spots on the staircase, he returned to your room, pleased with himself that it once again resembled the way you liked it. He pulled the socks from your feet, knowing you hated sleeping in them. As he did so, it dawned on him that they were his socks. In fact, you were also wearing the pair of sweatpants and the henley shirt he had given you the night you were cold while you watched a movie together. That memory brought a smile to his lips. Finally, he grabbed the rolled edges of your sheets and comforter from the foot of the bed, lifting them over your legs and up to your chest. This caused you to shift, taking a deep breath before rolling over, giving him enough room to slide in next to you. He did just that, humming a bit as he wrapped you in his arms, drifting quickly to sleep to the sound of your soft breaths and the warmth of your bed.

Quality Time

“Really, Billy, I don’t mind. I’ll just stay home and see you later.” You were currently on the phone with your boyfriend, trying to convince him to go to the party alone that you were going to go to together. It had been your plan all week to go to this party together and you even had an outfit laid out for the occasion. Unfortunately, you had woken up with a sore throat and a completely stuffed nose. After a few hours of blowing your nose, taking Vitamin C, and praying this would go away, you were resigned to call Billy and tell him he’d have to go without you.

“I am not going unless you’re there and I can tell from your voice that you’re really sick. Lay down and get cozy, I’ll be over in a little.” You sighed, disappointed that you were altering the plans for the evening.

“I’ll be fine. I feel bad that-” Before finishing that you felt bad for throwing a wrench in the evening, you were interrupted.

“I am not going to that stupid party, baby. I couldn’t care less. Trust me. Now get under the covers. I’m coming over. Is the door unlocked?” You answered in the affirmative and with one more order to get under covers, he hung up. You shuffled your feet across the carpet, burrowing under the large throw blanket, tissue box close by.

For a while, there was silence (apart from the sneezing and the pounding in your head from an annoying little headache that had formed since your call with Billy). You were somewhere between sleep and wakefulness, praying that this would end and missing the time you could breathe out of your nose. As you lay staring at the ceiling, you heard a familiar rumble in the distance get closer until it finally stopped in front of your house.

A few steps up to the front door and the creak as it opened and shut brought your boyfriend into view. “Shit, baby,” and with that, he kneeled next to the couch, running his fingers through your hair, wincing a bit as they ran over your forehead. He put his cheek there to confirm before saying, “I think you have a bit of a fever, too. You got it rough. But don’t worry, I brought all the things to make you feel better and I won’t leave your side until you’re good again.” He reached behind him, dragging a plastic bag full of medicine, chocolate, more tissues, and even a couple movies. You knew you were in for a troubling evening as you fought against the fever, headache, and sore throat. But with Billy by your side, it would all be okay.

By the next morning, after a night of movies, talking, snuggling, and even Billy spoon-feeding you soup, you felt almost your old self again. You were so grateful for your wonderful and caring boyfriend who showed his love all different ways. You made sure to tell him a million times, though he already knew.

Sometimes. You cursed your boyfriend's ego.

It just could be so incredibly difficult to just deal with him at some point...

No matter how exausted or just being proven wrong, Chisaki Kai stumped his foot down to just prove for those who doubted or even, with some sorta of courage, talked back to him how stupid and dumb they were. Because he was right. He knew what was best for him, whose he consider dear to his heart and even the world itself. It didn't matter if blood had to be sheed or people to get hurt. He got what he wanted as always would.

You weren't excluded from this harsh treatment either...

Kai and you rarely fight over something. The man absolutely hated arguments that included yelling or some sort of physical combat although it was necessary with some... imcopentent subbordinates of his.

Yet it didn't mean how cruel your boyfriend could be from only just using words. Especially when he had a problem on his bussiness with the Shie Hassaikai.

For your doom, today was one of those days...

"I'm sure if you just took a couple of hours even to just relax and forget about your goal for one minute you would be less tense." You tried to coach your boyfriend but he only glared at you like you were an arrogant child throwing a tantrum.

"And who are to demand things from me (Y/n)?" He spoke through gritted teeth, you could tell even if he was with a mask over his face.

"Im.. Im just trying to help." You murmured lowly, hurt evident on your features.

"Do I look like i need help from you? You cant even walk alone on a city without being glued to my arm on being guarded by the Shie Hassaikai workers." He spoke on a manner of fact tone before giving his back to you to walk back to his desk.

But you tried one less approach...

"Kai... please. I can't- I don't even recognise you anymore. Please just try to listen to me-" you tried to touch his shoulder only to gasp when his rough and covered hands grabbed onto your wrist harshly and roughly pinned you to the wall as he stared with a murder gaze down at you while tightening his grip on your wrist.

"I won't listen to you. And you know why?" He whispered with venom as he etightened even more his grip on you to the point where it actually started to hurt. "Because comparing me and to yourself dearest, you're just a clingly brat trying to distract me to your own enjoyment."

"K-Kai stop it It hu-" you whimpered and gasped in fear as he slammeed a fist on the side of your head.

"I wasn't done talking!" He roared in your face as tears started to form in your eyes " cant even listen and do something right now?!"

"Kai please-" you whimpered and your eyes widenes when you noticed his glove on the hand he was holding your pulsefading away.

His quirk.

He was about to use his quirk on you.

"Kai calm down-!" You cried and hives started to appear on his face.

"Now you want me to calm down after irritating me right you useless-"

"LET GO OF ME CHISAKI!" You screamed but at the shock of you using his surname and shouting... Chisaki did ended up using his quirk on you.

His eyes widened as you shouted and clench your bleeding handless arm. Shit... what had he done...?

He almost stuttered for you to calm down and when he tried to get close to you to fix you screamed again.

"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME! STAY BACK!" ignoring your pleas he grabbed onto your arm as you trashed and screamed on his grasp as his eyes burned and finally fixing what he had done... physically at least.

Just when your hand was back you pushed yourself away from and falling on the ground as you stared up at him with wide fearfull eyes...

He felt so ridiculous and angered with himself at the sign of the one who trupy loved him staring back at him not like a man, but as a horrific monster...

"A-Angel I-" he crouched down and extended a hand towards your direction but soon returning it when you flinched at the montion. "... I'm.. (Y/n).. I.. I truly didn't want it-"

"Y-Yeah.." you whimperex while carefully getting up and maintaning a dostance from him "But you did..."

"(Y/n) wait just listen to-!" He stopped walking towards you as you rushed to the exit of his office, using his door as a shield.

"Kai not now..." you muttered and slammed the door shut. Leaving with the weight of guilt enough to bury him on the ground.

It pained him to hear the hurried footsteps and sobs fadind away and knowing he was the cause of it.

The day has been awful. He shoudl have listened to you and take a break... maybe then you would be by his side right now...

He walked like a deadman towards his room and sighed at the sign of the door closed before knocking. No one answered...

Allowing himself, he opened the door to spy that... you weren't there. Your pillow was the only thing missing and it let him with unknow pain on his chest as he closed the door.

He asked for Chrono and Mimic forbyour location ... but none of them opened their mouths. Those two were loyal to him but they also didn't want to see a quarrel in the night time. By the stain on Chrono's coat he could tell that you cried on him just minutes ago.

He frowned at the thought but couldn't just punish his friend for actually being a decent man... unlike him. After all, when was the last time he let you cry on his shoulder?

... when was the last time he actually gave you attention..?

He morned at his flaws before widening his eyes at seeing a covered lump on teh couch as his feet immediately dragged him.

He exhaled in relief at seing your sleeping face on there but immediately frowned at the sign of dried tears on it..

Crouching down by your side he frowned, carresing your cheek with his gloved thumb... but the mere touch was enough to rouse you from your sleep as you let out a scared yelp and scotted away... afraid of him.

That hurted more than that any punchs of miss treating he ever received on his life.

"I'm... Did I wake you?" He murmured before sitting on tge couch, legs spread as his arms rested on it.

You stared at him for a minute before averting your gaze from him to the floor as you hugged your legs closer to your chest.

"I... assume you're need some time still after what... happened." He frowned when you just blinked, a broken and saddened look on your (E/c)'s eyes as you carresed the wrist where he had injured.

"... I didn't wanted it. I never wanted this to happen." He admitted with a pain on his chest that it hurted even to talk... but your silence was killing him.

"Won't you say anything?" He looked at you with expectant eyes "Scream? Yell?... anything?"

You got up and faced away from him as he blinked.

"... I'm going to sleep in the guest's room."

"Sounds... fair." He sighed in despair as he watched you walk away and the distant sound of the door shutting.

Burring his face on his face he sighed. A headache coming along with the burn on his eyes.

What had he done..?

He tried many aproachs for 2 weeks. And nothing seemed to be changing anytime soon.

You didn't looked at his face and only answered him with one or two words if he was lucky enough. He couldn't even eat in peace without noticing you just made your plate and leave, with some excuse of cleaning up later.

That wasn't the problem...

When he tried flowers or even your favorite food you just declined with a shook of your head and gave the flowers to some epderly woman whoose aold them.

Why wont you accept it?

He heard rumors of the Hassaikai workers that they thought that you only didn't break up with him for fear of your life... or even that he wouldn't mind killing you just to find another.

What did you and them thought of him to say those things?

Ah. Of course.

A monster.

He aproached silently the living room where he found your reading. You soon casting him a glance before closing your novel and moving to get out.

"How long this will continue?" The words are harsh, but the tone of his voice was broken, pleading for you to just end this suffering.

You stopped right by his side, not spating him a glance as you furrowed your eyebrowss at the ground and clinging to your book.

"Will you leave?" He asked sorrowfully before you sighed.

"... if you ever lay a hand on me again. I will do worst than just leaving Chisaki." You spoke harsly and he actually felt fear with those words.

It was almost commical. Him, leader of the yakusa and with a dangerous quirk, fearing his quirkless girlfriend.

The day this happened conpleted one month....

He saw your messages.

Family and friends of yours didn't know he was a yakusa. But it was explicit on various texts that the only advice they were given you about the relationship was leaving him.

His heart actually clenched at it. Trembling hand holding the cellphone as hot drops of tears fell from his eyes.

He did fucked up...

The presents only increased. You felt good enough to eat again and even chattered more happipy around the precepts and with your therapist.

Everything was great... except for your current situation with your boyfriend.

You knew Kai had never the intention to use his quirk. Anger and exhaustion could inflect on someone's quirk and made them do mistakes they never meant to. But you were still avoiding him due to the trauma of having your hand literraly being overhauled and the hurtfull words he said.

That was the first time Chisaki took his anger out on you... yet you were still petulant about not giving any of your attention.

The only comfort you noticed he had was that you didn't flinched anymore when he moved or try it to get closer. Key word: try.

Of course you noticed he was deeply affected to it. To the point that even Rappa out of all people came to you to just ask to talk to him was alarming.

You were walking on the hallway before you made a confused sound at Chrono whoose whistle and mentioned with his fingers to make you come over where he was.

"What's the problem?" You asked and furrowed your eyebrows at seeing your suitcase on his other hand "why are you with my-?"

"Overhaul asked me to pick. He wanted to know if you would like to move." Your eyes widened at his words.

"Move? Is he kicking me out?"

"No." He shook his head before handling you a paper where it showed you all pictures of a luxury apartment "He just wants to know if you would be interested on living there instead."

"Huh..." you frowned at the paper before you lift your gaze at Chrono sighing and taking off his mask.

"He is tearing apart (Y/n)." You frowned.

"What do you mean?"

"Kai is conplicated. We all know. But I swear to you i never saw him like that. During this three months, he only worked at his bedroom. Didn't eat. Didn't clean... you see what I mean?"

You frowned even more... was he just as much hurting as you were?

"He is torn. Basically... it just activated a past trauma of his what he did."

"Past trauma? What the-" you stopped when he patted your shoulder.

"Not important. So? You want to or not?"

"... not entirely but just a few things." You mourned on your decision as he nodded,putting his mask back and going into Chisaki's office.

"... i see. Take her there."

"Kai come on... you guys at least can talk to each other-"

"No Chronostasis." He froze at the broken tone of voice of hsi friend as he stared with a empty look at the window. "She deserves a place of her own. Living with me would only make her worst."

"What about you then?" He chuckled sadly before rolling his eyes to see Chrono.

"I am just simply living through what a monster deserve."

Seokjin frowns when he feels his stomach churn at the smell of jjigae he currently made. His hands feel clammy and sweaty and he wants to throw up so badly. He’s not even sure why, but it makes him feel sick. He takes a deep breath, grazing his hand over his stomach as the other hand keeps stirring the food.

"Hyung, what are you making?", Yoongi stifles a yawn as he shuffles to the kitchen, opening the fridge and snatched one of cold water there. Sighing in content when the cold water sliding on his throat.

" Jjigae", Seokjin mumbles quietly with a pout, continuing to stir the soup inside the pot.

"Oohh that nice ..", Yoongi peeked up, " Do you need help?"

"I think I can handle it", Seokjin mutters, taking in another deep breath as the smell intensifies. It smells delicious. But for some reason it feels like his stomach protest again him. His nausea intensifies. And the heat from the stove makes him feels hot all over.

He parted his lips slightly, trying to ease his nausea by breathing through it. His grip on the spoon tightens. Taking slow inhales while the other hand holds onto the counter. Taking deep breaths, he tries to calm down. And then another wave of nausea suddenly hit him. This time harsh, like someone flipping his stomach

A gag escapes from his mouth. He gasps quietly as he quick to clamped his mouth. Trying to swallow the lump in his throat. He swallows and exhales harshly before taking another deep breath.

" Hyung? Are you okay?", Yoongi furrows his brows together worriedly, stepping into Seokjin's line of sight.

“I’m fine Yoongichi... Just suddenly feeling nauseous..” Seokjin says softly, still trying hard not to cough as he continues to stir the jjigae. Nausea hasn't subsided yet but at least it doesn't make him want to hurl that instant.

Yoongi stares at him for a few seconds. As if he doesn't believe a word that Seokjin has said because he knows how easily Seokjin could just lie about something like this. So Yoongi decides to give him a break today.

“Okay hyungie. If you say so”, he replies as he turns his gaze back to the phone.

"Good morning hyung!!", Jimin chimed in from the stairs. It didn't surprise the older, only make them wonder a bit at how someone could be so bright at 7 AM?

Yoongi rumbles a reply, and so is Seokjin, when Jimin placed himself on the stool next to Yoongi.

" Is it jjigae hyung?", he asks curiously, eyes squinted as he looked at the dish Seokjin was cooking.

Seokjin hums, not trusting himself to open his mouth. He can already feel the bile rising up again.

Jimin giggles lightly. “It smells delicious hyung!!"

Smells.

Seokjin's stomach revolts. Again. He gulps, trying to keep his stomach contents. But its hard.

He scrunches his face. His lips quiver as he throws the spoon away and turning himself to the sink. Gagging harshly there, that not long after morph into a full heave, vomit splatters loudly covered the stainless steel.

"Uuurrkk-", he retches again, floodgates of dinner rushing from his mouth. The sound of liquid hitting the sink echoed throughout the kitchen.

"Nnngh"

"Shit.. hyung!", Yoongi hurried to his side, putting his hand on the elder's shoulder. Jimin rushes over too, turning off the stove to save the dish.

Seokjin moans in pain, sucked a deep breath before vomiting once more in the sink. His stomach rolls uncomfortably. His back arched forward, throwing more chunks of vomit.

After several minutes, Seokjin's nausea finally subsides enough to stop gagging and spewing his stomach content. He could see that he lost all of his dinners.

He took another deep breath. A shaky hand wiped at his sweaty forehead. He tried to get his heart to calm down so it would go back to normal as he turns the faucet on, letting it drain what it was his dinner, and rinse some of it around his tongue to get rid of the aftertaste.

"You okay hyung?", Yoongi asked in concern.

Seokjin nodded weakly, leaning against the counter and sighing heavily. " 'm sorry .." , he mumbles. "I think i need to lay down. I feel faint"

Yoongi nodded, grabbing Seokjin's wrist and helping the elder out of the kitchen, walking towards the couch in their living room, dropping himself heavily onto it. Jimin scurrying beside him, hands him water that he gladly accepts and downed it.

"I will continue the food before the rest get up", Yoongi squeezed his shoulder before he stands up. Seokjin mumbles a small thank you.

" What are you feeling hyung? Why do you suddenly get sick?", Jimin asks.

"Just feeling a little queasy.", Seokjin murmurs tiredly as he slowly lays down on the sofa. "I don't know .. it was the smells making my stomach churn"

Jimin nods, rubbing soothing circles on his back as Seokjin leans his head back onto the softness.

The two sat for a while before the others woke up and Yoongi helped set the table and cook breakfast. Seokjin decided to stay behind, not trusting his stomach to accept any food now.

The rest of the day was going well, he stayed at the dorm after some ultimatum from Namjoon and Yoongi, but strangely, he did not get the urge to vomit the whole day. Managed to get down soup and some crackers.

Even though he felt sick the entire time. Though he didn't feel bad at all during most of his days, just feeling slightly uncomfortable and queasy.

That night when they had gone home, Seokjin back to square one. They had set this appointment to had dinner in this restaurant they always wanted to try, before the whole breakfast fiasco happened.

"Come on guys, let's just go. I'm fine! I did not vomit again the whole day. I feel better!", Seokjin tried to convince them as they lounging on the couch, hesitant to go. Namjoon and Yoongi shared a look before sighing.

"Okay, if you say so.", Namjoon says as they both stand up, heading to the door where they both grabbed the keys, wallet and coat. They walked out and headed to the restaurant.

Maybe Seokjin did underestimate himself, because as soon as Yoongi clicked on the stove and grilling the meat, and Namjoon cut the vegetables, Seokjin felt sick again. Like earlier that day. Only worse, much worse. He bites his inner cheeks.

No, he can't throw up now.

Not when the others were excited to eat.

He sucked a deep breath, as his hand quietly slides under his shirt and settled there, hoping that he could hold back everything, at least until he was back at the comfort of his room.

" Hyung, you sure you're okay? You look pale again", Jimin says worriedly, placing meat at the older bowl.

"Yup", Seokjin replies with a strained smile as mutters a small thank you. He forces a chuckle, giving a reassuring pat on Jimin's arms. "I'm fine .. now eat", he says, taking his own chopsticks, even though his mouth-watering rapidly.

Trying to ignore the churning in his gut.

Trying hard to keep the queasiness inside of him.

He ate the first bite, and then quickly eats the second and third. And when the fourth bite had been eaten, the sickness in his stomach breaks.

He quickly clamped his mouth as his body clenched with nausea.

He's gonna vomit now he's gonna vomit now he's gonna vomit now he's—

" Hyung?", he heard Jimin 's concerned voice, and he can see Yoongi and Namjoon staring worriedly at him.

"Are you gonna be sick?"

Seokjin didn't want to nods, afraid that the slightest movement might make his stomach lost its defense. Yet he can't open his mouth, he's afraid that might not be words that gonna come out.

He feels his chest tighten as another round of queasiness hits him full force. His hands grip tight onto the fabric covering the front of his abdomen. Sweat started forming on his temple, the heat from the pan heating his skin. He swallows thickly, eyes wide.

"Yes ..", he breathes out. Not even sure if Jimin or anyone hear it. But apparently, he did, as Jimin tell Hoseok to grab the trashcan beside him, and quickly placed it near Seokjin's side.

Seokjin quickly hunched over it, squeezing his eyes shut as another round of pain strikes him, the wave of nausea overwhelming him. His hand gripping tightly to the wooden table.

" 'm sorry", he croaked out before he gurgles up what he just ate. Rice and half disgested meat plopping loudly to the plastic. "Uurrkkk-", his body convulses once more, emptying his stomach and throw up everything he managed to eat today. He could feel tears springing from his eyes and rolling down his flushed cheeks.

"It's okay hyung, let it out", he hears someone murmurs softly as he pukes more. And again. And again. Until he was almost empty. Then suddenly stopped. Feeling dizzy and weak as his eyes flutter closed.

"Hyung .. here, drink"

He could barely hear Jimin's soft offers, barely even registers that he is still sitting there slumped forward. Eyes closed, panting as nausea still lingering in his gut. He opened his eyes slowly and shakily accept the glass. The cold water pouring against his burning throat. It feels nice.

"Do you want to go home hyung?", Namjoon asks, gently.

Seokjin nodded silently. "Yeah... but finish your food first, 'm sorry", he rasped out.

The two younger nod, grabbing their chopsticks to clean up.

The car ride home was silent, with only the low hum of the engine as their vehicle sped past by traffic lights.

" Do you feel like you might throw up again? Want me to placed a bucket next to your bed?", Yoongi asks after he got out of the bathroom, looking at his roommate that curled on his bed. He looks exhausted.

Seokjin shakes his head, "No, thank you. I feel better already"

Yoongi pursed his lips, and turned off the lights. He crawled into bed and cuddled up, "Wake me up if you need something, okay?"

And after low hums from the older, they went to sleep.

True to his words, Seokjin really did not throwing up the whole night. But the older repeating his cycles yesterday as Yoongi once again, finding him hunched over the toilet in an attempt to make breakfast.

"Uuurrkk-", Seokjin retches, his head ducked deep into the toilet bowl, stomach clenching painfully as he continued gagging.

His breathing was heavy as he gripped at the rim of the seat.

" Hyung ...", Yoongi mumbles beside him, his hand rubbing comforting circles over his back as Seokjin groans in pain and exhaustion with every jolts of his stomach.

Finally, it ended, Seokjin falling backward, head slumped on the toilet seat, his chest heaved from the dry heaves he had forced himself to.

"Hyung...", Yoongi mumbles again, " Do you have any vendetta against breakfast? or food?", he teases lightly.

Seokjin gave a small laugh.

He turns around and stares at Yoongi with tired eyes and tear-stained cheeks. "I think so, i don't know what's wrong with me. The smell of food always turns me off", he grunts as he wipes at his lips with the back of his hand.

Yoongi smiled slightly, "Do you want to go to the doctor hyung?"

Seokjin shook his head, "No, maybe i just ate something bad or catch some bug. I will be fine"

Yoongi cocked his eyebrow, "But you dont have fever if you catch a bug ..."

"I don't know .. maybe i built differently?", Seokjin shrugs as he rinses his mouth, " Can you continue the food, Yoongi-ah? i'm sorry but i think i will throw up again if i try to cook"

Yoongi nods, giving Seokjin a gentle squeeze on his arms before retreating to the kitchen.

Seokjin trying to brush it off, the queasiness that comes on and off at him for almost a week now. He doesn't want to worry anyone about it, even though Yoongi now taking his roll to cook breakfast.

Until on the 8th day he got latched by this mysterious bug, it got worse.

As always, it was in the morning, Seokjin hunched over the toilet, this time he managed to eat 3 bites of his breakfast, before a gag making everyone in the room turning his head to him as he run off to the bathroom.

Yoongi really couldn't brush the worry in his mind looking at how the older body was shaking as it held him as he pukes. Seokjin looks so weak, like it takes all force from his body to empty his stomach right now.

"Yoongi-ah..", Seokjin croaked out in between heaves, "I can't... I'm going to throw up again".

Seokjin was sweating a lot, and he was panting heavily. The stench and taste of vomit mixing with the smell of food that wafted around in the room.

" Let it out hyung .. after that let's go to the doctor?", Yoongi asked, carefully watching Seokjin, who just nodded faintly before burp out another watery vomit.

"I think I'm done", Seokjin wheezes out after emptying the rest of his stomach, leaning down on the toilet, and breathing harshly. His cheeks flushed, contrasting with how pale his lips are. "Yoongichi, he swallows thickly, 'm dizzy ..", he admits quietly, feeling himself begin to slip away, as the lightheadedness was creeping up his brain.

"Shit", Yoongi curses was the last thing he heard before he let Yoongi catches his limp body.

The smell of disinfectant was the first thing that waking his senses. Seokjin hates how his body now seems like become more sensitive to everything as his stomach immediately churns at the mere thought of the odor. He tried to swallow, to try and relieve some pain in his throat. But all he could do was cough. And then another wave of sickness rolled through his body.

He whimpered as his hands grasped tightly at the sheets that covered him. He gives up, as he rolled his body to the side, and lets whatever his stomach had in him come spilling from his lips.

He was grateful when he heard his vomit hitting something solid, at least, he didn't make a mess on the floor.

He felt a pair of hands gently rub his back, rubbing calming patterns.

It took a while for Seokjin to regain consciousness. Everything was blurry as he blinked open his eyes. He looked up to see Yoongi holding the bucket he just vomited.

" Yoongichi?", he says as he let himself relax to the bed. A different bed.

"Where am i?", he croaks as Yoongi leans down, wiping his chin with a wet cloth.

" Your hospital room", he responds simply.

Seokjin frowns, confused. Why does he have the hospital? Is he sick?

"You were vomiting a lot this morning until you suddenly fainted on me. Fuck, i was so scared hyung", Yoongi's voice shook slightly as he sit on the edge of Seokjin's bed.

Ah ... he remembers.

" Don't do that on me again", Yoong pouts. Seokjin eyes widen as he heard the younger suddenly sniffle. Yoongi never cried.

"Hey", Seokjin called softly, reaching out to grab Yoongi's arm, gently tugging until he sat on the bed, facing him. "Hey, no crying", he muttered.

"Why are you so stupid?", Yoongi sighed softly, wiping his eyes angrily. Seokjin coos at the sight while he chuckles, " You were worried but insulting me at the same breath", he points out, smiling slightly.

Yoongi huffs.

"What did the doctor say then? Am i sick? Something that life-threatening? Do i had to get surgery?", Seokjin questions.

Yoongi rolls his eyes as he shakes his head, " Stop being dramatic", he mumbles. Yoongi scoots closer, before grinning and steal a kiss from the older, making Seokjin gasp and blush creeping until his ears.

"You're pregnant", Yoongi mumbled against the older's lips, smirking playfully.

Seokjin freezes and stared dumbfoundedly at the younger. He was still recovering from all the sudden shock, and he didn't know what to think.

A child. A baby.... his.

"I .. what?", Seokjin finally manages to utter. It was quiet as both men listened to each other's heartbeats.

"We have a baby", Yoongi mumbles, his eyes glistening under the dimmed hospital lights.

He was silent, just staring at the younger, his thoughts running wild inside his head.

"Hyung?".

" I love you", Seokjin suddenly blurts out.

Yoongi laughs, "I love you too", he says softly and placing his palms on Seokjin's stomach, " and thank you", he adds.

Seokjin smiles warmly and kisses Yoongi chastely on the lips, his fingers carding through the younger hairs.

"Now, we have one homework", Yoongi murmurs as he pulls away.

Seokjin cocked his eyebrow.

" You had to tell the others", Yoongi says, " We can't just keep it a secret from everyone"

Seokjin snorts softly, "Yeah well. Let's just call them here?"

"Hyung .. they dont even know we're dating for months"

"Oh"

"Yeah, oh"

a/n : in the current time line the reader is around 25 / 26 while Chris is around 28/29 so is set around about 2010 , just roughly . although you can picture any time you want , im just trying to sick to thing the best i can . 

 Chris POV

Once Chis got the call he was on his way to you in an instant . How dare some one stand you up ? were there stupid or what ? No matter what Chris was on his way to come and get you and find out the punks name and show him  how much he fucked up . Chris’ heart tighten when he heard you cry over the phone and dropped everything just to make you stop  .

When he picked you up and saw the red rings around your eyes he made it his mission to stop those tears and see that smile that make his chest flutter .So when you sat across the booth from from laughing and smile , his mission was couplet along with him no longer being hunger . But he saw your eyes brows brought to together and your eyes slightly widen with a rush a red onto your cheeks , as you were so clearly stuck in your own head . Chris did not think much about it , but he did not know that moment , that single second , single thought would play such a big part in not only your  future but his too  . Its kind of funny you never know that you are experiencing one of he most important events of your life ,not until after it happens .

10  years ago .

Chris stood at his truck all nervous and giddy , he had a journey of a life time a head of him . Moving to New York was just the begging he hoped , along with all his family . Who were standing on the side ready to send him off .

“ill be back soon ma , you know that . ill never be too far away “ he said as he hunched over his mother giving her a tight hug , while a tear escaped his eye , he has never been ashamed to cry especially when it comes to his mom .

Chris snapped his head to Scott side where he pointed, at hearing your name . There you stood next to his brother , in a yellow summer dress , flowing in the slight breeze , your hair just past your shoulder , with red checks and glossy eyes . You were breath taking. quite literally , but Chris soon shook  that thought away .

“take care of him would ya “ chris spoke taking a step closer to you 

you nodded your head and jumped into his arms , Chris quickly wrapped his arms around you as he buried his face in your hair while you tightly hugged his waist . All of a sudden the excitement of leaving was gone , with a feeling of longing and not wanting to move from where he was . You delicate  body wrapped up , him holding you tight , he felt like he could both breath and was breath taken all at once , his surrounding forgotten as he heard you tiny hiccups . The moment felt like it lasted for every and was so quick all together  As Scott cleared his voice . The pair of you slowly pulled away , but Chris had the argue to keep you close so he did so by keeping his hand o the small of your back . He glance down and saw your once glossy eyes were now a streaming river 

“ha ! ill tell you what i told ma ...”

“that you’ll be back soon, and your gonna be a movie star “ you giggled to yourself . The sound made chris heart saw but he did his best not to pay much attention to it .

“ i never said that “ chris shook his head , looking through his eyelashes at your glowing beauty , once again he shook that thought away immaturity . 

“ dont forget me when your all big and famous “  you sigh making directed eye contact with him , his breath hitched and his chest tighten at the thought of you thinking he could ever forget you 

“ i could never “ he quickly whispered but was soon replaced with “ no promise , id have get  to there first , “

you wen to playful slap his chest but he caught your wrist , mid air , he held it for a second and rubbed his thumb over your wrist. Until Lisa came  into view 

“ come on son you want to get there before theres to much traffic “

chris slowly let you arm fall to your side , while your finger tips were still slight touching , bring an electricity feeling to chris , but pulled his hand away as the feeling of not wanting to leave crepes back in 

he turned away from you .” yeah your probably right “ chris made his way to the truck  that engine  was already going , he jumped in and shut the door with a loud bang , while the widow was down fully 

“see ya soon “ he shouted 

“ bye . we will miss you “

were just some of the response as Chris ,as he  turned on to the road with a wide small on his face , until he turned to his mirror and saw you standing , waving your hand slightly , his chest tighten once again unable to  breath nor tear his eyes away from you , the pit in his stomach grew as you got further out of view as he made his way to his new life .

The Evns household was full of commotion , as not only was Chris back in town , but it was Scotts and yours  senior prom . All day long Scott was stressing basically over nothing , while having you on the phone despite you coming over later . Lisa had spent the day running around making the day as best it could be for her baby boy.

Chris was shaking his head with a small smile on his face as he bounced down the stairs , hearing his sister arguing  , reminding him of what he leaves behind every time he goes back to New York . But Chris smile was short lived as he reached the bottom steps , walking straight into something . a faint sound of clinking could be heard 

“oh sorry i didnt see where i was going “

that voice made chris’ head snap up . He was met with a breath taking sight , quite literally Chris could not breath . There you stood before him . In a long maroon dress that reached the floor , with your hair in loss curls with the front pulled back . Your eyes shown against the smoky eye shadow. Chris took you in , looking you up and down through his eyelashes , only to land on yor lips , which where lump and glising under the hallway light  . 

“its nice to see you “ you sweet voice now broke him out of his trance as a smile played on your lips . Chris shook his head , trying to make sense of his mind .

“ummm ...you to... you loo..”

“aww there you are “ Scott voice boomed as he made his way towards the pair of  you , with Lisa following , camera   in hand .

“im here “ you said ding a little twirl as you held your dress up  a little 

“and dont you just look beautiful” lisa smiled towards you making you blush ,causing chris heart beat to excel  , he shoved his hands in his back pocket trying to avoid your gaze as he frighten he might just have a heart a attack  . 

“  i tell you what Jack is one lucky boy “ Scott teased making Chris shoot a look at you 

“oh shut up “ you playful pushed Scotts chest 

“what ! i though you were going with Scott you have a date ?” Chris was trying his best to hold of his anger as he spoken through gritted teeth , his fist forming in his back pocket 

“whats happening ? why am i anger ? im just protective over her thats all  “ Chris told him self 

you looked at him with wide eyes 

“umm uhh yeah i was but ...”your nevous clearly shown in your voice 

“until some hansom bitch came and cornered her in the hall yesterday and asked her out “ Scott finished for you clearly exited and not at all hurt that he does not have a date any more . 

“scott language “ Lisa scolded him , making  scott roll his eyes .

“and you said yes “ chris bitterly asked 

you just nodded you head as you and chris looked at each other not daring to break  eye contact .that feeling came back the one on the day he first left , not wanting to leave but now it was not wanting for you to leave and go and a date with some stupid boy that is mostly only trying to play you .

Chris walked into his house with a hugh smile in his face , his nervous where at an all time high , but was under control thanks to the brunnett keep tightly in his arms 

“its going to be okay chris “ Jessica laughted 

“ i know , i know , there will love you , if anything i should be the one telling you everythings gonna be okay “ chris nervously chuckled making his way through the living room , walking past the christmas tree and all its decroations 

Chris was nervous , Jessica was the first girl he brought home to meet his family , that did not allready know her . Since his town is small everyone already knew eachother , therefore his girlfriends already knew his mom and family . Jessica saw and meet a diffent side to him . The one where he was now in movie

The day went smoothly everyone loved her and chris was happy . Sitting on the couch with his family and girlfriend ,chatting away until the door bell rang .

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Scott sang for the 100th time that day . Everyone in the room chuckled and turned to look at the next victim of Scott's singing

That's when lisa now jumped out of her seat

"Oh dear merry Christmas. Come in come in " chris heared the front door closer and everyone got up to great the new guest . Chris was busy pulling Jessica up that he didnt realise almost everyone was seat back down

"Merry chr-" chris breath hitched as you stood in front of him in a lose fitting red dress with your hair loose half up and half down . While holding a tinned box in your hands

"Ohhh that must be why I havnt heard about you "Jessica concluded . Causing you to scrunch up your face as chris heart dropped .

Y/n stood there stunned for amont . Staring at her noe empty hands . Until her fist former and fell to her side slight stomping her foot as she turned and began to walk at a rate now man will escape

you laughed loudly, laughing because of how adorable san is. oh dont be mad~ you cooed, going down from the sofa to the floor, just to hug your best friend. you wrapped your arms and legs around his waist like a koala, placing your chin on his shoulder. is my sannie mad?? you asked, pouting cutely at him. san blushed, his face turning into a tomato. he didnt say anything which makes you truly believed that he was upset.

then, san headlocks you, making your body fall onto his lap as he messes up your hair with his free hand. being a competitive person you are, your hands went to his neck, trying to choke him. he let go of you, hands going to yours as he tries to break your grip off him which is an opportunity to run from san.

yaa!! y/n!!! you heard him scream as you went upstairs. you stopped for a moment, looking for rooms to hide until your eyes landed on his room, you ran when you heard his footsteps coming closer. you're not a fast runner but you passed your p.e tests last semester which was the day you're actually proud of. too bad san was faster than you when you tried to close and lock his door. both of you were pushing the door, one trying to open while another is trying to close until san pushed the door with his full strength, making you scream in horror as he grabs your arm.

you tried to run, trying to escape from his grip until your feet slipped ㅡdamn these socks ㅡmaking you fall onto the ground along with san. like a typical korean romance drama, the male character is ontop of the female character, staring into eachother's soul as the male got closer, eyes looking at you and to your lips until a knock distrupt your story.

san!!!! open the door!!!! it was wooyoung's voice screaming outside his house. both of you got up, scurried into different places; you in the living room while he takes the door. you were blushing mess, hair in a mess and your heart too

but you're not alone.

san opens the door, revealing wooyoung who was annoyed. what took you so long?! i've been waiting for you for the past five minutes!!

goddamn, woo. its not like you're going to die or somethingㅡ

yes i willㅡ oh! y/n!! wooyoung ran up to you, jumping at you, making you scream at how heavy he is as he hugs you. didnt know you are here! he exclaims, showing a bright smile.

well now you do, woo so can you please get off meㅡ you said, trying to breathe with the male body ontop of you. wooyoung giggled, apologising to you as he gets off before looking at the tv screen. isnt...that monster hunter world?

yeah? and what about it? san asked, sitting down on the floor beside you as you're on the couch. im playing that game too! hunter rank 10, just started playing it though wooyoung replied, turning his head to you how about you, y/n? have you played this game before?

wooyoung's eyes widened in surprise, body turning at your direction 250?! damn you crazy!

having san and wooyoung as your best friends can be a pain in the ass sometimes but having them in your life makes it fun and enjoyable, and you love the both of them equally. as you're walking your way to your classroom, a familiar voice was heard screaming your name. not to mention that you're in the hallway with people walking by.

wooyoung, its early in the morning. why are you screaming?! you hissed in annoyance, redness shown on your face. wooyoung smiled cheekily, giggling a little. i just wanted to say good morning to you~ he said, taking your hand and swinging it side to side. you massaged your temple with your free hand, sighing as you shook your head a little. good morning, woo. you're lucky that i love you you muttered, making wooyoung's eyes beams in happiness

then, the school bell rang, indicating that the first lesson has started. you widened your eyes, remembering that your first lesson is with ms chou, the teacher who is always coming for your ass. wooyoung, i need to go! ms chou will come at me if im late! see you later, bye bye! you said hurridly, releasing your hand from his and started running as if your life is at risk before he could stopped you.

wooyoung watches you from afar, your figure slowly disappearing from his sight. he sighs, shoulders going up and down before shaking his head, starting to walk his way to his class.

you slammed the door opened, seeing some of your classmates sitting on their seats, minding their own business. then your eyes trails to the teacher's desk, not seeing ms chou on present yet before landing your eyes on him. choi san. you took a sharp breathe, your lungs tightened automatically as your heart started to beat very fast. he was reading a book, probably a harry potter book and he looks peaceful, like an angel. unfortunately for your heart, the sun was shining against his skin, the light bouncing off from his skin, making him look ethereal. your head started to get dizzy as your legs dragged you to your table next to him without realising.

y/n? you snapped your eyes from wherever you were looking from to him.

y-yes? you managed to speak, despite having a lump in your throat before sitting down on your seat.

you look pale he said, closing his book shut before focusing on you are you sick?

h-huh before you could continue, he placed the back of his hand onto your forehead, trying to feel any heat. you watched every expressions he made, his eyebrows furrowing as he squinted his eyes with his nose scrunching and his cherry lips pouting. his lips. you have never been wanting to kiss his lips right now, how you want to taste his lips, how you want to claim his lips yours. then you caught his eyes, he's staring at you.

you didnt know why you're being like this after the incident that happened at san's house from a few days ago. you do have a little crush on san before but now, it seems like your crush on him is getting bigger and bigger. you hated it, hated to have feelings on your bestfriend that will most probably reject you.

y/n? san calls your name softly, snapping out from your daydream. you realised that san's face are close to yours, his nose ghosting onto yours but before you two took a step forward, the door slammed open.

sorry kids, ms chou was late!

oh what a deja vu..

after school has ended, you slowly pack your stuffs as your classmates made their way out from the classroom. you sighed, too caught up with the thought of san. before this situations between you and san happen, your other best friend, gahyeon, told you that san likes you but you didnt believe her in one bit despite having a close friendship with her for 3 years. you dont believe the boy that has been with you ever since you were out of your mother's womb would like you, there's alot of thirsty girls eyeing him since young and you bet that there will be or is a girl that would or has caught his eye

and that girl would not be you.

exiting the classroom and the school, you straightaway went to the library, wanting to clear your mind off by writing or probably reading a book or both.

san was making his way back home from school, too caught up with the thought of you. ever since that incident happened at his house, things became awkward between the both of you. how the both of you didnt greet eachother as used to, hugging eachother or any skinship between you two. especially this morning, how the both of you were so close enough to almost kiss eachother but that didnt happen even though he wants it to happen. he shook his head, shaking those thoughts away.

why would you like him? for someone who he thought is not handsome as wooyoung. he thought you would like wooyoung than him, and how he thought that you would choose other guys than him.

wooyoung, on the other hand, was thinking on how to confess his love to you. too stressed on his plan, wooyoung called san through his phone.

hey san? i need your help.

what do you need? san asked, throwing wooyoung a packet of chips before sitting the opposite of where wooyoung sits.

you know yunho is going to throw a huge party this friday, right? and how even everyone in our school is invited, right?

san furrowed his eyebrows, nodding his head a little, confused where wooyoung is going. ...yeah?

friday came by and you are sitting on the bench at the school garden with gahyeon who is playing games on her phone. too caught up reading your book, gahyeon spoke up.

you lowered your book down a little, looking at gahyeon with a confused look.

there's a party tonight?

gahyeon rolled her eyes and face palmed yes, you forgetful idiot. remember yunho? that tall adorable looking puppy guy? he invites the whole school to his party, since his parents are out of town for the whole month.

okay, so? you asked, confused. you rarely go to parties because it drains your energy since there will be alot of people there and you're scared that anything might happened to you if you're drunk since males nowadays are just horny piece of shits who cant keep their dicks in their pants and does not know the meaning of consent. you're glad that gahyeon doesnt go to parties alot, though mostly the parties she goes to is her family business party.

so how about we go? gahyeon beams school has been a pain in the ass ever since the exam schedule came out so how about we go there to release our stress out?

oh come on! just this once, y/n! and never again! gahyeon begs, giving you that puppy face that you couldnt resist whenever she wants or do something.

day passed by quickly as you and gahyeon are getting ready for the party. since you dont have alot of fancy dresses to wear, you wore an off shoulder purple lace dress that your mom brought for you for your birthday. its not that tight or short for you and you are grateful for this dress to be yours, your mom has a better understanding of fashion and you than yourself. you look at the reflection of the mirror, looking at gahyeon who is stressing herself on which dress to choose for the party.

goddamn, gahyeon. is it that hard to choose a dress?

gahyeon glared at you yes it is, y/n! if you own alot of clothes, you would feel the sane way as me!

i do and all of them are comfortable and simple so i dont have a hard time choosing unlike you

ugh, whatever! you know what? im just going to choose this dress! she rummaged through her closet and picked out a short sleeveless red dress that have some pretty design but you dont care, you actually care if san is going to the party or not.

god, do you think y/n would come? wooyoung asked loudly as the music in yunho's house was blasting, bouncing up and down as he was nervous.

san chuckles, looking at his friend as he feels his heart stings. he was hoping for you not to come because he doesnt want to see you be with wooyoung but at the same he hopes to see you come, to see wooyoung confessing his love to you and you would accept it and see the both of you happy because you would choose other guys than him and to san, that's the truth.

i dont know, woo but i know she will he said, trying to comfort his friend with his best even if he feels worse.

then, you stepped into the house with your friend and san saw you from afar since both san and wooyoung is at the drinking section which is kinda far from the doorstep, along with people who is covering his sight from you as they are dancing in the area that he is in. but he indeed saw you and well, he's in awe on how beautiful you look and he realised that he's falling deeper in love with you. he swallowed hard, looking away as he closed his eyes. he cant be doing this right now, his friend likes you and he doesnt want to ruin this opportunity for wooyoung but yet, here he is ruining his own opportunity. he opened his eyes, to see if you werent there but you are still there, looking at him back. he took a sharp breathe before nudging wooyoung at the side.

she's coming to our way with gahyeon so get ready, lover boy san said, giving him a smirk as both you and gahyeon walked to their direction

san!! wooyoung!! you called, releasing your hand from gahyeon and hug both of the boys as they hug you back. both of you look amazing, i wonder if there's any chicks hitting their shots at the both of you? you asked cheekily

wooyoung laughed, holding your hand nah, they dont caught my eyes like you do

you blushed, laughing a little thank you for the compliment, wooyoung. much appreciated

okay okay! anyways, boys. me and y/n are going to meet our girlfriends so if you could step away please! gahyeon said, cutting off from whatever wooyoung is trying to do. she glares at san we will get back at you later so tata! she continues with full of sass, gahyeon then takes your hand and pulls you away from the both of them.

damn, i was about to ask her to dance with me! i swear gahyeon loves to interrupt my opportunity! wooyoung gritted his teeth, feeling frustrated.

calm down, woo! they just came, let them have fun a little, will you? san said, calming his friend down.

yeah yeah, whatever. im going to find seonghwa for some advice and the rose, see you later with my future girlfriend! wooyoung jokes and pats his back before leaving him alone, finding his older friend.

san stood there alone, looking down on the floor as his heart breaks into pieces.

you sat on the couch with gahyeon, talking with her friends on how males can such be a pain in the ass. too caught up with the conversation, you saw one of her friends look up. you look at the direction she was looking at and you saw wooyoung standing infront of you. the conversation between the eight of you stops and all eyes look at wooyoung instead, confused on why he is here.

uh, y/n? can i talk to you for a moment? wooyoung asked nervously, looking down.

you looked at gahyeon's friends and gahyeon, who looks a little dark at the sight of wooyoung. you apologised to the seven of them before going up to wooyoung. without saying anything, wooyoung grabs your hand and pull you to wherever he wants you to go.

as gahyeon saw you being pulled by wooyoung, she sighs before standing up, making her friends look at her with confusion written all over their faces.

san was sitting on the staircase, thinking about you as he drinks whatever liquid he was drinking, not caring much about his well being.

choi san he heard gahyeon's voice what the fuck?

what?

what the fuck are you doing, san? arent you supposed to confess to her? and not wooyoung? didnt you told me you like her? gahyeon asked angrily, standing infront of them with her arms crossed. he looks up and all gahyeon saw is sadness in his eyes, she couldnt help but feel pity for him

why? she asked softly

because i want wooyoung to be happy, i want y/n to be happy he confessed as tears builds up in his eyes i know she wont choose me

why? she asked again, but in a harsher tone

san didnt react at her ourburst but instead, he just stood up and walk pass her, walking towards the door.

choi san! gahyeon screams in anger as he exited from yunho's house.

what is it, wooyoung? you finally asked after he drags you into a garden, dragging you away from the noisy house. you see him breathing deeply with his shoulders going up and down before looking at you.

i-i like you, y/n he confessed, making your eyes widen in surprise. i really do like you, y/n. ever since i met you through san, i couldnt help but developed a liking towards you and i hope that you will accept me he ends off with a rose in his hands. you look at him, his eyes full of hope and you couldnt help but to think of san. no matter how much you want to stop thinking about him, the thought of san will always comes back and if you were to accept wooyoung's confession, it would be toxic for the both of you as you will still keep thinking about him and not wooyoung. though, you are thankful of him being your best friend but you have never thought of a new level between you and wooyoung. only san. choi san.

im sorry you gasped for air, being to pressured with wooyoung's confession and the thought of san as tears starting to build up in your eyes. imㅡ im so sorry, wooyoung you apologised as you look at him im sorry

the hope in his eyes has faded as he lowers his hands down. it was quiet for a moment before he speaks up

y/n, you better hurry up before i cry wooyoung said, his tears starting to spill as he pushes you out from the garden into yunho's house and before you could say anything, wooyoung slammed the door infront of you.

you breathe in and out, nodding your head and went to find san. you looked around the house, trying to him but instead you saw gahyeon walking to your direction

she looks surprised san? i dont know, why?

you hesitated, trying to find a way to answer her question ....i...im going to confess to him

gahyeon's face softens, giving you an apologetic look as she holds your hand im sorry, love but i dont know where he went...but you know where he always goes to

san stares at the night sky, seeing the stars shining in the dark as his tears rolls down on his cheeks. he's wondering how's wooyoung's confession goes, did you accept? or did you reject? he wonders if he ever get the chance to confess to you but he knows he doesnㅡ

san! his thoughts were cut off by your voice but he didnt believe that its yours, he thought he was dreaming

san! your voice got nearer and nearer choi san!

he whips his head to the side and saw you, panting really hard with your hair in a mess. he looks down, your hand holding a rose and the other holding your heels

wait, the roseㅡ

ㅡi love you, choi san!

san frozed on his spot, his mind went blank as he heard the words he was hoping to hear from you but he couldnt believe that he is hearing those words from you

you pant heavily, lifting the rose in your hand as you drop your heels

yes, i love you, san. i really do! you repeat your words, in case san wouldnt believe in you or he might be deaf. i love you, san

san lift his hand and point to himself m-me? you love me?? and you nod why, y/n? i thought you would like woo but me? why me? i thougㅡ

his words were cut off by your kiss, you were too fed up with his rambling that you decided to kiss him, to show that you are truly in love with him. in love with san. he automatically kisses you back, his hands cupping your cheeks as he deepens his kiss, finally giving you the love he keeps for you for a long time. you broke the kiss first, trying to breathe and so is he. san looks at you with love in his eyes as he placed his forehead on yours with his hands on your waist. the rose you were holding was no longer in your hands as it falls onto the ground with your heels when you kissed san.

it was silent for a moment, it wasnt any awkward silence but rather a comfortable one. you know.. you started to speak i realised that after wooyoung confessed to me, i didnt feel right.

san raised his eyebrow, urging you to continue

i didnt feel like im at home, you know? i dont feel like me whenever im around him but i do whenever im around you. i realised that i've been loving you hard ever since you protected me from those bullies though i thought it would be a small crush but it wasnt and whats their name again? was it kahi? sarah? whatever.

ㅡyou make me feel at ease when i have a storm in my mind everyday, you were there for me even if i never asked you to and you make me feel im at home when im with you you said, caressing his cheeks as you peck his lips, before looking at him in the eye with full of love.

you are my home, san.

“Ahem—Mr Byun?” the cab driver says tentatively, afraid to startle his passenger, “we have arrived, sir” 

Baekhyun, despite his driver’s carefulness, startles in a fit of snorts and disgruntled sounds sitting upright squinting at his surroundings.

“M’right, kay’—” Baekhyun slurs. “Thank you, please, keep the change” he says handing over a wad of cash to his driver. It’s more than enough for the ride and then some. 

The cab driver takes it gratefully bidding Baekhyun goodbye as he watches him drunkenly stumble out of his cab. Waving goodbye, he then digs through his pockets in search of his keys as he tries to make his way towards his building. 

“Fuck” Baekhyun groans realizing his keys are missing. ‘You have got to be kidding me’ he thinks to himself. ‘Did he leave them at the club? Or did he leave them at home? Had he dropped them in the cab?. Without his keys there’s no way for him to get the building’s gate open, much less his own apartment door. 

He stares down at his phone and sighs. 

It’s nearly four a.m, there’s no way Jongdae’s awake. The nerd’s been asleep for hours by now, Baekhyun’s fooling himself if he thinks there’s any way his best friend’s going to hear the buzzer. 

Still, that doesn’t stop him from leaning against the building gate wall as he presses down on the buzzer waiting for a response. In the meantime, he also dials Jongdae’s phone number and hopes either of the two disturbances wake him up. 

“Worst roommate ever” Baekhyun hiccups letting up on the buzzer. He dials one more time, but of course, no answer.

After sending an onslaught of text messages to Jongdae, Baekhyun pockets his phone and looks back at the platinum square with an array of buttons and sighs. 

Squinting suspiciously, he recognizes Amber and Krystal’s apartment number right above his and Jongdae’s button and presses it praying to the lord almighty either of his upstairs neighbors are up.  

“Hello?” greets Amber, giggly and slightly slurred. Baekhyun heaves a sigh of relief.

“Dude, why’re you still awake?” he snorts when he hears the girl hiccup and burp all at once, shaking his head with a full on fond grin on his face. He’s got a bit of an idea why she’s still up by the sounds of her voice. 

“Well what the hell are you doing ringing my buzzer at nearly four in the morning?” she retorts.

“S’a valid question,” comes Krystal’s voice from somewhere near the speaker.

“Glad you asked. Might’ve lost my keys at the club. Might’ve left them home or honestly I might’ve left them inside the cab I just took home. Can’t really say at the moment” Baekhyun confesses.

“Wild night?” Amber muses, and Baekhyun snorts.

“Wildest. Buzz me in would ya? These leather pants are literally suffocating me, and I’m getting cold”

The last thing he hears is Krystal’s laugh before he’s being buzzed in. The gate unlocks and he is able to make his way inside their building. 

It is then that upon entering the building’s premises, Baekhyun encounters yet another problem. 

The front doors are locked, and as his luck would have it, the night shift receptionist and security have seemed to have taken a break. 

Damn it! Baekhyun cursed inwardly, tonight really just wasn’t his night was it. 

He should’ve listened to Jongdae and stayed in. But no, Baekhyun just had to go and be a thirsty little bitch and accept Chanyeol’s offer to go out. He’d promised him he’d get Minseok to come along, and if Baekhyun was being honest, he’d been itching to get into the older man’s pants ever since they shared a heated makeout session at Kim Junmyeon’s housewarming party—read; rave—last month. 

But alas, all men do is lie, and Chanyeol is no exception to that statement. 

Now, Baekhyun could have waited for the receptionist and security guard to come back, but quite frankly he was over tonight and all he really wanted was to get inside his apartment and pass the fuck out.

So he did what any other person would do. He went around the side of the building and began to count windows. Once he’d somewhat figured out which window led to his and Jongdae’s apartment, he pulled down the rusty and quite frankly, loud, stairs attached to the apartment window steel balconies. 

After three flights of stairs and two nearly falling of happenings, Baekhyun finally reaches his apartment window and cheers, praying Jongdae once again forgot to lock it before bed—he normally does, and Baekhyun has to remind him constantly that just because they live on the third floor doesn’t mean they’re immune to potentially getting robbed. 

“When the fuck did we move our couch?” Baekhyun grumbles as he swipes their curtains aside and comes face to face with the back of their couch.

He shrugs it off not having the energy to think about it much, then climbs over said couch falling face first into it and promptly passing out.

Kyungsoo huffs out a tired breath as he shuts down his laptop, removing his glasses to rub fiercely at his tired eyes.

After an entire day’s worth of research, brainstorming and writing, he had finally finished his History report and he was well due for some rest. He stretches on his desk chair, groaning as his stiff bones crack and pop in place after the long hours of him being hunched over his desk.

His eyes widen when he checks the time and sees it’s half past three. 

However, he realizes it’s Sunday, and aside from looking over his paper once again with fresh eyes and turning it in before midnight, he really doesn’t have much planned. He relishes the thought of being able to sleep in and sighs happily making his way towards his room.

“Finally” he groans as he pulls off the duvet on his bed and crawls into it, sighing in satisfaction as his head hits his soft pillows.

Kyungsoo’s halfway asleep when a creaky sound pulls him back into full consciousness. He waits a couple seconds, and when he hears nothing once again, he sinks back into his pillows and tries to slip back into slumber.

Not even a full minute later and Kyungsoo’s jolting awake at the sound of his living room window being pried open. Afraid he’s going insane from the lack of rest, he waits a bit before he hears the tall tale sounds of someone intruding into his home.

Shit, he thinks, the one time he forgets to check his window and this happens.

Nearly braning himself on his bedside table in his haste to search for a weapon, Kyungsoo detangles his socked feet from his bed sheets and rumages his room. He almost finds himself empty handed until his eyes land on his umbrella.

He almost cheers out loud.

Almost.

Quickly grabbing it, he slowly turns his bedroom door knob, and carefully opens his door. 

Tiptoeing down the hall towards his living room, he holds on tightly to said umbrella, heart hammering in his chest. If he dies tonight, Kyungsoo thinks, it would be such a shame he spent his last day on earth typing up a stupid History research paper. 

For a second there, Kyungsoo regrets not being more social and spontaneous. 

He finally reaches the living room, eyes scanning the immediate area, gaze landing on his open living room window then falling down to his couch where a large lump lies, curled in on itself. 

Judging from the whiny noises and soft breathing, Kyungsoo gathers it’s another human being.

He walks closer towards his couch, lowering his umbrella and stares at the sleeping person—sleeping boy to be exact.

He seems to be of no danger to Kyungsoo, if anything it appears—and smells—like he’s just drunk. Kyungsoo figures he must’ve gotten lost and confused in his inebriated state and somehow ended up in his living room.

Heaving a sigh of relief, Kyungsoo places his umbrella on the ground and inspects the boy slumped over his couch. 

He’s dressed in all black, in what appears to be a black cotton v-neck that’s ridden up to reveal a tummy and lower back splattered in beauty marks. He’s also in what appears to be the world’s tightest pair of leather pants, and Kyungsoo wonders for a second how long it must’ve taken to get those on. 

The intruder’s face was mostly covered by his bangs and Kyungsoo itched to push them back just to see if he recognized the boy currently drooling all over his suede couch. He couldn’t help but stare at the boy’s familiar pouty mouth. 

Kyungsoo had an inkling of who this could be, and his heart stuttered in his chest. Not sure of what else to do, he crouches near the stranger and pushes away his hair to get a better look and sure enough it was exactly who Kyungsoo had thought it was.

Unsure of what to do, Kyungsoo bites the inside of his cheek nervously. Should he wake him and send him on his merry way home? Or should he just let him sleep off the alcohol, and deal with this whole thing the following morning? 

Before he can decide anything on his own, Baekhyun twitches in his sleep startling a squeak out of Kyungsoo and sending him straight to the floor. In turn, Baekhyun jolted awake and frantically stared around.  

“Who are you?” Baekhyun questions, vision impared by his drunken state, as well as by his shaggy bangs. 

Kyungsoo’s breath gets caught in his throat, hand subconsciously rubbing at his chest as he stares in awe at Baekhyun. How is it that he’s been living in this apartment complex for nearly a month now, and this is actually his and Baekhyun’s first actual face to face encounter?

He clears his throat and chuckles, carefully choosing his words, not that it matters what he says. He’s pretty sure whatever leaves his lips now is surely marked on Baekhyun’s chest.

“Shouldn’t I be the one asking you that? You’re the one in my apartment after all” Kyungsoo says smiling softly, much too softly for someone who is talking to a supposed ‘stranger’ that just broke into their apartment.

“Oh my god, it’s the cute boy from 6C” Baekhyun mumbles, cheeks going crimson, his features going from conused to surprised to embarrassed in the span of a second. “Oh my god—did you—are we…” Baekhyun babbles finally registering their entire exchange.

“I guess so” Kyungsoo breathes out airily from his spot on the floor. Baekhyun in turn chuckles a little hysterically and flops back onto the couch. “Unbelievable” he mumbles to himself, and were it not for the smile on his face, Kyungsoo would’ve thought he was upset at their sudden discovery.

“Do Kyungsoo, by the way” Kyungsoo introduces himself, and he still can’t believe this is literally the first time they’ve ever spoken to one another since he’s moved in.

“Byun Baekhyun” he offers, with a small smile.

“Yeah, I know” Kyungsoo says sheepishly, and this time it’s his cheeks going crimson.

“You do?” Baekhyun asks tilting his head to the side.

“Jongdae” Kyungsoo tells him, “brought over some cookies from the both of you when I first moved in. Didn’t place a face to the name until a week later, but yeah, that’s how” he explains. “You think I’m cute?” Kyungsoo then asks a few beats later, slightly teasingly. 

Baekhyun groans throwing his arm over his face. 

“This isn’t happening” he wails.

“I mean that’s alright, it just so happens I think my soulmate is quite cute as well” Kyungsoo confesses.

“God I’m so drunk right now, is this really happening right now?”

Kyungsoo laughs softly and brushes Baekhyun’s bangs away from his face.

“You can crash on my couch, want a change of clothes to slip into?” Kyungsoo asks, “I doubt those are any comfortable to sleep in” he eyes Baekhyun’s pants and smirk.

“This is really happening” Baekhyun laughs in disbelief, “yeah, if it isn’t too much trouble, I’d really appreciate that”

Kyungsoo nods, and scurries off into his bedroom to search for an oversize t-shirt and some sweatpants for him.

“Thanks” Baekhyun says softly, gladly taking the spare change of clothes, cheeks once again flaming pink. 

“Night, Baek. See you in the morning. How do pancakes for breakfast sound?”

The words tumble out of your mouth faster than you prefer, faster than you wish they had.

You’re not sure what to expect from your friends. Yes, they all knew your time on Spider-Man would be short. A small part of Homecoming, that was set in stone from the beginning. They knew that all along. However, they did believe they’d have a little more time then a month or two.

And they also knew that, while you love screen acting, Broadway was and is your dream. It’s everything you love — dancing, singing, acting, live audiences — and they knew they should be happy for you. Most of them are.

“Oh my god,” squeals Zendaya as she wraps her arms around you. “What show? What part? When did you even audition? Answer me!”

“Well uh, I went when I told you guys I was seeing my parents,” you admit, twiddling with your fingers shyly.

Jacob pipes up from next to her. “Seriously, me too.”

“Tom?” You ask as you pull away nervously, pulling your sweater over your hands and onto your palms. “What do you think?”

You know you should be happy with your accomplishments, with what you’ve done. And the reactions of your other friends, the support they’ve shown you and are currently showing you. But you can’t help but wonder what Tom thinks, what’s going on in that beautiful and complex head of his, why he isn’t happy for you, or so it seems.

“It’s great,” he mutters dejectedly before standing up, turning away, and walking out the door.

You don’t say goodbye to Tom before you leave for New York. You try to, you really do, but he avoids you. When you walk into a room, he walks out. When you say hello, he mutters a quiet and short response before leaving.

You text him the day you leave. Standing in the Atlanta Airport, waiting for your flight.

There are benefits to not being in the first couple of scenes of the show. You can listen to the audience and how they’re doing, what they’re reacting you. You can take your time getting ready. You can do extensive warm ups. You can long for a text from your best friend. The last one might be exclusive to you.

“Katherine, those boys are counting on you,” you recite, pushing yourself into your fake set chair. You can barely see the crowd, too blinded by the bright lights of the stage and the fourth wall, but you can feel them. You can feel their heat and their energy as you belt out your last notes before stomping off stage.

The rest of the show goes perfectly. Often, there are problems, like the splitting of the boys’ pants, or dropping of the newspaper. But it goes perfectly tonight, a rarity. You feel pride swell in your chest.

“Knock knock,” Ben says happily, opening the door to your dressing room. “Did you already go to the stage door?”

“Yeah,” you pull an earring from your ear. “Really nice audience tonight. Met a real cute little girl at the stage door, dressed as Katherine.”

He takes a seat on the little couch in the corner. “Think I saw her too. Simply adorable. Anyway, there are people waiting for you in the hallway. Also, stage manager got flowers for you. Someone dropped them off. Spider-Man?” He says, voice layed in confusion

“Really?” You stand up excitedly. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Calm down,” Ben laughs. “They’re not going anywhere.”

You bolt out the door, quickly pushing yourself through waves of cast members and friends. “Oof, sorry Josh, yeah, okay, sorry!” You scream in apology over your shoulder.

Laura is the first one you see. She’s got a bright smile spread over her face, her arms crossed as she checks her phone. Zendaya, Jacob, and Angourie stand next to her, basically doing the same.

“Guys!”

Their heads snap up. “Y/N?”

You squeeze Jacob, holding him tightly. “I didn’t know you guys were coming!”

“Well,” Laura starts. “We were in New York for a few scenes and couldn’t pass up surprising our favorite Broadway star! You were great!”

“Yeah, really amazing,” agreed Zendaya. “Now I see why Newsies is your favorite.”

“It really is the best, huh?” You joke, hands on your hips.

And then you hear it. A soft voice, laced underneath a British accent and a layer of light. Tom.

“Guys, the bathroom is— Y/N, hi.”

“Hi?” You reply awkwardly.

“We’re gonna give you guys some space. Meet some of your friends,” Jacob says as he pulls the girls away.

“So,” you rock back and forth on the heels on your feet. “Hi.”

Tom stuffs his hands into his pocket. “Hey.”

“What are— what are you doing here?” You motion to the room around you.

“I missed you,” admits Tom. “So much.”

The lump in your throat gets bigger. “We would’ve stayed in touch, if not for you.”

He looks down at his shoes, voice caught in his throat.

“Why do you do it, huh?” You press, pushing his chest with your finger. “Do you know how much it hurt? I thought you hated me! I still do. You were my best friend and you broke me. Didn’t even say goodbye.”

His voice cracks. “Were?”

“That’s all you got of that whole spiel, really? Selective hearing.”

You’re angry. Red hot, white hot. It’s clouding your vision and and your senses and your judgement. You can’t listen to a word that’s coming out of his mouth, too upset and too hurt. Sadness and anger were always something that went hand in hand with you.

“I—,” Tom moves his feet awkwardly. “Was scared. Am scared. Because, well I was losing you.”

“So you chose to lose me even more?”

“I’m stupid, I know,” he runs his hands through his hair. “But I’m just so goddamn in love with you, the thought of you leaving hurt me so bad. Because I thought if I pushed you away, it would hurt less, but God, Y/N, it still hurt so bad. Even more, I guess.”

“You’re so fucking stupid, Tom,” you cross your arms. “So fucking stupid.”

“Yeah, I know.”

In conclusion, I will have to have a three level disc fusion in order to repair and even then will never be back to normal I have been told I have been through h*ll because of this accident. It’s Sunday. I’v been in my new home since 7/23. Im a completely different person than I  was 3 months ago. I”m using the last time I attended my public speaking group session as a barometer.

I’m supposed to go back in a couple of weeks and all I can think is that I have traveled around the universe several times since then. I don’t want to go back b/c it feels heavy to me. I feel defensive.

I’m also scared that b/c its the third time in the row I have no idea how long it will take to heal. Those thighs were a gift to me to let go of my nostalgia for my former thighs; the thighs I NEVER appreciated, the thighs I railed against from the age of 15.

When I was 16 (and this is not at all what I intended to write about) my mother walked into the living room of our rented condo in Queche Vermont. I was lying on the couch reading the Memoir of a Geisha. She lay down on the floor and lifted her exposed legs in the air and said, “Look at my thighs. They are falling. I know nothing about handy person shit. That makes me crazy. I have all the ability and also the fear. I don’t know how to do this and that and that and that. I want everything done NOW.

My business is building I think..I really think it is. I see writing BIG invoices in my near future and that’s very exciting. I LOVE the idea of managing big projects.

Being 52 and single and fickle and Emily is a thing. I know there’s a ton of people out there wishing to God they were single and not with whomever they’re with. I know there’s maybe less people out there that are truly content with whomever it is that they’re with. Im alone. 

I’m always alone. It’s a pain in the ass..it’s been like this for years and years and years. It may stay like this. Sometimes I think my life is in reverse. Most old people lament an face and sit with deep loneliness as everyone dies around them. I think maybe I'm just the opposite. Maybe love is coming to me later in life and it will be the most comforting, wonderful gift. 

This is what has happened for my mother. This gives me enormous hope. I think my mother; I know my mother felt isolated and alone for over 50 years. We’re quite similar in many ways so I wonder if maybe I'm being shown the bounty that is coming my way in this regard. 

I have riches beyond riches now: I have 99% of my limbs working. I live in my own home!!!!!! My neighbors are away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I'm having a blast decorating. I love my business. I have so many people who love me. I have quiet and light and food and joy and all the emotions of the rainbow. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

I wrote this full genius piece in my head the other day while my ankles were being cared for by my physical therapist. I was in that awesome dream state were everything creative flows. It was gone the second I got off the table. 

This doesn’t come close, but it feels like I can breathe again. IT’s been a really long time since I've written. Thank you for this ability, this space, my keyboard, and computer and digits and mind. Thank you.
