Headcanons about Andrew and Aaron in high school (it's one in the morning and I miss them)

° they both somehow got the role of "jock" and "nerd"

° for Andrew it was more complicated but most people know him as "darker persona of his twin and someone u shouldn't mess with"

° and the reason for the reputation of "don't mess with him" wasn't bc of his ability to fight or wield knives.. no it was bc of an argument with the baseball team

° so Aaron was in the baseball team right and Andrew attends his games for moral support and Aaron hates it (secretly loves it bc someone he is close to and cares about is showing interest in him)

°after the game one of Aaron's teammates makes fun of him joking about how Aaron sucked at playing the game bc he missed a shot or sumn (I don't know anything about baseball don't come for me) and Andrew really doesn't care here bc he knows Aaron is joined the team for fun so no hurt feelings whatsoever

° until .. the bastard starts making fun of Aaron for flinching everytime someone raises their hands too fast and Andrew is in the stands but he can hear clearly bc the bastard is being so darn loud

° so Andrew goes up to said bastard and doesn't even mention the flinching thing bc he knew Aaron would be uncomfortable to talk about it

° and Andrew starts personally attacking the poor dude (verbally of course)

°"funny how you're projecting your insecurities to others but I don't think you can ever beg forgiveness for actually enjoying a ridiculous game such as baseball"

° the guy is obviously trying to defend his interest of the game but Andrew has a way with words and while the guy is stuttering to try to say something back Andrew just- does not hold back

° "yeah maybe if you focus more on how shitty and pathetic ur life is maybe u wouldn't have to cut down others who r more successful than u, I don't know what u think ur accomplishing here but popularity isn't it and nothing u can do will ever lead to a fullfiling life"

° and so the students avoid andrew bc they don't want him d e s t r o y i n g their self-esteem

° andrew was very territorial over aaron (we know this, it was mentioned in the book) but imagine if the reason for this was bc aaron went to prom with this girl and it failed terribly

° I'm saying like andrew having to stay up to practice help aaron with memorizing french or sumn and Aaron having to but said girl a present and he stole it from tilda which got him a beating (this got dark fast)

° Andrew has eidetic memory but he will not add any effort to his study but american education is shit anyways and all u do is memorize so Andrew usually gets higher scores then Aaron

° this drives Aaron bat shit crazy bc he's over here staying up till three studying for his ap exam and andrew is idk eating ice cream sundae and reading harry potter and wanting to beat the shit out of draco malfoy

°andrew also refused to read or even touch to kill a mockingbird bird bc he claimed it was supporting white male savior complex and was told from a white person's perspective who have never faced oppression and the white man saving the black man and not the cruel injustice the black man had to face

°aaron and andrew have one thing in common and that is they fückîng eat up poetry I don't make the rules they just do

° they read like foreign poetries, mind u they don't read it together so the other gets really prissy when one isn't fast enough and they're both yelling at each other to hurry td up

°andrew constantly makes fun of tilda just to rile up aaron

°aaron tries to piss andrew off by bringing up juvie but Andrew just talks about the lovely librarian that always recommend him some great books

Appearance : 5'4 ace/heteromantic girl ambivert.Dark brown hair/eyes (I wear glasses but they are also sun glasses because bright lights give me a headache) a little chubby/muscled and pale skin+permanent smirk/smile/ neutral face. Plump lips. My style varies a lot (always comfy) but I never wear dresses heels/makeup. I love to imagine outfits with symbols from fandoms or my own drawings so I have a rather unique style (most of the time I wear a NASA jacket and leather boots/sneakers, I also love sleeveless turtleneck) who changes a lot. I have malleable cheeks and tiny hands/fingers/wrist.

Personality : .Sarcastic,a little naive but I have a backbone (don't bother flirting with me and if you feel that I am flirting with you which happens a lot then it's just my personality and on the rare occasion I notice they have to confess or I won't believe it) ,calculative,protective,creative,expressive,manipulative,a devil's advocate,prideful,charismatic, smartass, bookworm, daydreamer, a little insensitive/blunt because I'm more on the logical side ,vengeful, mischievous, a huge tease, open minded, very curious, gets annoyed easily, impatient (unless it's in drawing because I am a perfectionist there) so kind of a bad temper, observant but not romantically,sadistic to a point but my conscience prevents me from doing these acts. Those who don't talk to me see me as a nerd aggressive smart and blunt person ( even prideful) and strangers as polite and kind. I notice a lot of details because I don't let my guard down even if I daydream plus I have a photographic + sound memory and they work very well in all situations which can be a bother when I try to concentrate which is difficult for me because I get distracted easily. Also I have very weird reflexes so...anyone who approaches me by surprise gets hit, any sudden movement and I already have my leg/arm going their way which got me into a lot of trouble.

Dislikes: I fight for my beliefs. I have trust issues so I never talk about my problems and will use humor when confronted. Bright lights. Cooking. Slow things or people. When I get teased in a mean way (otherwise I actually like being teased it's a fun fight after). People who change side easily and hypocrites. Overly serious people. I tend to be aggressive and expose an annoyed face easily (I am moody), plus I hate orders and love pressing buttons it's funny(in a fun way rarely in a mean one) unless it's a sensitive subject. When I feel that I am unwanted or someone insults me or take me for granted I become very cold and distance myself and the relationship becomes strained the more they take time to ask for forgiveness, something I might give but will never forget.

Likes: I love cats/laughter/sweets/pranks/dark humour/ a true crime and Supernatural enthusiast and I love science especially concerning space, chemistry, robotic and psychology. Books, sleep, drawing and video games too. Cherries. Sushi.Oh and debates I love them. Surprises too I hate routine and runs away from it. Fun fact : I dream a lot and write my dreams. I don't mind nightmares on the contrary I welcome them because I find them to be a nice experience and they give me ideas plus the amount of emotions you can feel is amazing. I also tend to curse while talking.

My projects are often done last minute or just improvisation but I get a good mark at them which means that yes sometimes I can become arrogant and I don't really know what it feels like to study really hard and fail sorry. But I know it will bite me later. I often argue my way out of a situation with anyone : I know the exercise why should I write it? If I told you the answer then I know how I got it and you know it too no need for me to write the correction. Mum the brain is a muscle too so I am in fact exercising.

When dealing with an emotional person I don't know what to do I will try to give them words to keep going, it succeed but I am rather harsh plus I try to make jokes to cheer them up.But if a friend breaks down before me I will do my best to cheer them up (ahem jokes and reminding them of all the success they achieved) and if I am comfortable and they want a hug I will give it. I hate people who denies that others helped them.

okie nobody can deny that our main boy over here is a loud soul, however, he can also carry a damn good beat that compliments his band mates’ music really well. Tbh, he sucked at music to begin with and had trouble matching rhythms and listening to his band mates when they played, however he eventually became a really good rhythm maker.

Sasuke

-Guitar (lead)

He’d be assigned to the same band as Naruto, and that’s how they met. This boy is a damn good guitarist y’all, but has attitude problems™, and used to not be able to deal with Naruto’s haphazard beat making, thus perpetuating a rivalry between the two. He constantly feels overshadowed by his elder brother Itachi, a piano major.

Sakura

- Dance

Ya girl fucking demolishes every single dance routine. Initially starting out with a focus on ballet (pre-shippuden in canon), our pink headed queen soon realized that she wasn’t getting the full experience of what it meant to dance. Her point shoes were her loves, however they hurt and nipped in places not just physical. She realized that she didn’t want to be pigeonholed into a genre of which she would be inhibited by standard, and rather to dance so as to forget technical perfection. Thus, what would partner with post-shippuden Sakura in canon, Art School AU Sakura got into hip-hop. And bitch, she goes hard. A lot of the other girls who she used to dance ballet with admire her for her absolutely BODYING her dance routines, but also for never sacrificing her femininity to dance and not taking BS for being a girl who goes so hard in a male-dominated genre. (Some people believe that hip-hop is heavy hitting and a little metaphorically “dark” so to speak, which Sakura is not. So obviously I expect a little disagreement regarding this, however if you look at people like Delaney Glazer or Kaycee Rice, that is how Sakura would dance).

Hinata

- Creative Writing

Shy and bookworm-like, Hinata can write the best poetry, romance and adventure pieces out of all the creative-writing majors. She’s especially good at writing character relationships and development, and has such a subtle sense of intelligent wit in her writing, that if you blinked you would miss it. However should you catch it, you’re sure to chuckle. Her only struggle is that she tends to drag on in important scenes, stretching them against the regular flow of the rest of her writing. Needs validation for her writing through an IV drip.

Kiba

- Drums OR Photography

Drums for obvious reasons (loud and obnoxious), although ruff boi looks good with a camera, too. Great at landscapes and street photography.

Shino

- Creative Writing OR Photography

I could definitely see Shino having fucking beautiful handwriting, and being a beast at writing anything within the sci-fi realm. I could also see him doing some journalism, and writing for the school paper. He’s very good at the logic of his sci-fi books and coming up with logical but enrapturing stories, that intermingle knowledge and mystery. He’s a very specific type of read, however, and may not appeal to all, however if you enjoy anything similar to Star Wars or Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, then Shino is your author. If this doesn’t float your boat, though, try photography-major Shino. He can get the best angles of bugs he sees, and has an extensive portfolio with entomology-related snapshots.

Ino

- Dance

Like Sakura, she, too, began with a focus on ballet, however began to branch out into contemporary ballet a little later than Sakura. This is another reason why Sakura switched her focuses, as she and Ino had always had a fierce rivalry for dieting (ballet dancers are pressured to be as thin as possible) as well as battling for technical perfection when they were ballet focused. As the two grew, Ino focused more so on contemporary, but can certainly do some hip-hop with Sakura every now and then, just as Sakura occasionally takes a contemporary class with her. The two still have a rivalry, however, just not to the previous extent as when they were actively competing against each other. They’re more like sisters.

Shikamaru

- Guitar (bass) OR Creative Writing OR Architecture

Smart boy’s a tricky one. He would either be a bassist, a mystery and historical fiction writer, or, of his school offers it, be great at architecture. Idrk.

Choji

- ermmmmm….. maybe graphic design? Tech theatre (props)? Vocal???

Choji is hARD dwnccnpc (that’s what she said). I could see him behind a computer screen, animating and designing games/covers/posters or whatever. He could also do something in theatre, but I don’t think he would do anything up on stage. Something like props would suit him. He might do something in music, tho???? Can he sing???? Help???

UPDATE: Choji is a band kid. He plays tuba or some shit. Big boy got big lungs.

Tenten

- Dance

Always has been, and always will be a hip-hop dancer. She wanted to be like Tsunade, a legendary dancer and followed in her footsteps, taking up hip-hop. (that’s why Sakura focused on hip-hop, too, because Tsunade mentored her and taught a few of her classes, too). Tenten is fast and can keep up with any beat. Not only is she a great dancer, but she’s also athletic, and does track and field (cross country), football, and softball at another school too, since the arts schools doesn’t offer it. Overall great dancer with styl. She’s really looked up to by some of her underclassmen for her cheery, but badass style and skill.

Lee

- DANCE (hip-hop, too)

It’s sweat. It’s burn. It’s energy. It’s Lee.

Neji

- Violin

First chair violinist in his freshman year for the school’s philharmonic orchestra. He be extra like that.

Gaara

- Guitar (bass)

He had a lonely childhood with neglectful/abusive parents, and rock music really helped him with that. Emo music is emo and often made fun of, but the songs have messages and Gaara related, so self-taught himself the bass guitar to help cope, and bring him closer to the music that salvaged him.

Kankuro

-Art

Specifically sculpting. For obvious reasons.

Temari

- Acting

Girl can make you cry with some of her monologues. Total lead. Has a seriousness in her acting that makes her believable, however can falter on the less-serious roles. She may also double-major in whatever Shikamaru does. And she’s better at it than him.

Itachi

-Piano

Boy could play any etude at age 7. Performed at Carnegie Hall when he was 10. And no, he didn’t pay to play there. The hall invited him. Began composing at 9. Has perfect pitch. Owns international awards. If he’s not at school it’s because he’s traveling to play for crowds. He excels at classical and baroque, however has an ear for romantic, and enjoys playing/composing pieces either written or inspired by romantic pieces. Enjoys Schumann, Debussy, and Tchaikovsky. Hates modern classical music, though. Can only take cinematic pieces composed by people like Williams, however can’t stand Prokofiev at all. He does like modern music, though, so long as it’s outside of the orchestral/classical music realm. He likes R&B. He would have liked to do film with Shisui, particularly producing, however his parents pressure him with piano, so he helps Shisui with student films and projects outside of school (will probably pursue film after graduating, tho).

Shisui

- FILM / VIDEO PRODUCTION

Fight me on this!!! THIS BOY IS SO GOOD AT CINEMATOGRAPHY MY FILMMAKING ASS CAN’T EVEN. AS SOMEONE WHO IS IN LOVE WITH FILMOGRAPHY, TRUST ME, SHISUI HAS IT™. THE IT™. HE’S GOOD AT EVERYTHING. CINEMATOGRAPHY. DIRECTING. SCREENWRITING. GRIP-WORK. EDITING. PRODUCING. HE’S SUCH A FILM NERD TOO, AND WATCHES OLD FILMS ALL THE TIME. HE’S JUST TOO GOOD AT IT. DOES STREET PHOTOGRAPHY TOO. They want to start their own studio together (they do, and it becomes huge). He becomes a leading director, while Itachi becomes a producer and directs sometimes too.

It’s the only thing that suits him and it suits him so well. Has suave.

Obito (omfg his arms y'all)

- Not to say drums or anything, but…. drums.

Narutard 2.0. But he also dabbles in other areas of music. Like, he can also play guitar and sing. He’s also pretty good at music production. Makes R&B sometimes. He wasn’t always the best musician but proved to be a late bloomer, and really harnessed his potential. Tries to be as suave as Kakashi and his saxophone. He isn’t.

Hashirama

OkaYYYYYY. VOCAL GOD. CAN DO RIFFS AND RUNS AND HAS PERFECT PITCH. ALSO THE SWEETEST GUY??? WAS A CHAMBER SINGER AS A FRESHMAN. EVERYONE LOVES HIM, GOOD BOY ENERGY.

Madara

Total prodigy, but hates classical music. Once was accompanist to Hashirama for a solo vocal performance and hasn’t been left alone since.

Tobirama

- Viola or Cello

Some sort of string instrument and takes it very seriously. Probably plays cello because violas are violas and that’s lame (if you know, you know). Has almost as many awards as Itachi and Madara, but hates his usual piano accompanist, Izuna.

Izuna

- Piano

Also a piano god. The uchihas breed them. Hates being accompanist for Tobirama. They’re secretly best friends though, don’t tell anyone.

Karin

- Tech Theatre.

Idk why. Probably started out with props and made her way up to TD (technical director) in senior year.

Suigetsu

- Tech Theatre

Fucking hates theatre kids. Assistant TD. Karin hates him.

Jugo

- Visual Art

Paints landscapes and nature. Really good with oils and gouache respectively.

Yamato

- lmao Trumpet.

Met Kakashi since they both play brass, but boy he ain’t got that suave. That’s why he plays trumpet. Lmao he plays the fucking trumpet anjdwcnojdnn.

Rin

Sweetest voice and could also play the acoustic guitar when she sang. Died in a car accident junior year. Kakashi was at the wheel when they got hit by a drunk driver. Obito saw the whole thing.

Kurenai

Can create dream like paintings that almost seem like illusions.

Asuma

- Cello / guitar

Used to play cello because of his parents, but loves to play guitar. Can sing but his voice is raspy from smoking.

Gai

Jiraiya

- Guitar (lead)

Used to major in lead guitar. Sucked at first. Probably has a couple, casual Grammy Awards (they’re actually not that hard to be awarded with, The Recording Academy award many people outside of mainstream media. My school has a few). Now teachers as head of the Band department at this school.

Tsunade

-Dance

Legendary dancer. Probably toured with a few famous people. Now teaches. Mentored Sakura, and mentored Ino but for a shorter time.

Orochimaru

- Idk, didgeridoo, or some shit

Definitely a wood wind. Flute maybe??? Teaches now but no one knows what he does. Pedophile. Has a thing for Sasuke.

hello again!!! =D you asked for soft, so soft is what u will get! disclaimer, if u end up in a sugar coma from how sweet this is don't say i didn't warn u

this man unironically enjoys vocaloid. he enjoys a wide variety of voices but since i like to project, i'll say his favorite is gumi! if you're very lucky you can hear him softly singing/humming the tune of some of his favorite vocaloid songs

logan still owns a unicorn plushie that he got when he was 8. at the age of 8 the unicorn plush was as big as himself. it's got galaxy print fur, baby blue accents, shiny silver stars in certain places and super sparkly eyes. he keeps it in his closet bc he doesn't have the right place for it but every now and then he'll pull the plush out and cuddle it for nostalgia.

Happy birthday, Morgan!!

I know Peter was planning to give you your present himself, but he fought a giant robot yesterday and now I'm not letting him get out of bed until he can breathe without wincing. So I figured I'd get it to you. I also got you a gift of my own.

First, his gift: another book for nerds (affectionate). This book, "Poetry and Science," has been his absolute favorite book since he was like twelve. It's apparently about how science helps to reveal the hidden beauty of the world? I've never read it. But he was pretty confident that you'd like it as much as he does.

*I* got you something a hundred times cooler: a ukelele! I had the idea to get you this while I was listening to the playlist you sent us--it just kinda,, felt right? If that makes any sense. I figured you'd enjoy learning a new, non-superhero skill. And aimlessly strumming a ukelele is a great thing to occupy your hands with whenever you're feeling anxious about the future.

Trust me. I did that a lot at your age.

As always, don't ever hesitate to swing by Peter and I's apartment whenever you need anything--or even for no reason at all. We're always happy to have you around, and we enjoy spoiling you. Have a great birthday!

He’s Mine: A BakuDeku Fic Spork- Chapter 4

WOW I can’t believe this story only ran for 4 chapters! Or no, wait, I can absolutely believe that.

For those of you who are new, I read a terrible BakuDeku fanfiction and made funny commentary on it with the help of some good buddies!! Thanks again @kittykatz009, @the-wizard-l, @satsuneade, and Phos!!

Last time, Shoto made terrible jokes and lied to Izuku’s mother, Izuku and Shoto went on a date, and our helpless damsel protagonist got attacked by a villain!! Also, I provided several of my own takes on the pairing! When we left off, Izuku had received a note from Katsuki that had a love confession on it! In today’s installment, we see the fight between Lord Explosion Murder and Ice Ice Flamey from the beginning! Also, they stalk Izuku and hang around him creepily all night at his house!

Me: Izuku would stare at that letter for ages and find a hidden message in it. Izuku, reading the note: "Hey, damn nerd... Even though I didn't get to tell you yesterday, I was trying to say that I'm in Love with you. I want to go out with you. Let me know what you think. PS- Tell anyone else and you're dead." [long pause] "...............oh my god... the first letter of each line... HE'S IN TROUBLE!! I HAVE TO SAVE HIM"

Wiz: 🦢 Me: First off, I think it's kind of telling that within the universe of this story, I'm kind of rooting for Bakugou over Todoroki. I mean, at least Bakugou beat a girl unconscious to save him. Todoroki just kidnapped him while he was dressed like a girl and then took him to a park for no reason and left him there. Happy October! Here’s a multifandom mish-mash, as usual. This list has some femslash, some podfic, four (4) Holmes variations, some History Boys (turns out I like the fic way more than the source material), and some Dirk Gently (despite doing a dedicated DGHDA list last month). I've recced some of these as one-offs, but it's nice to have them all in one place. Recs below--enjoy!

This was not at all the case. To begin with, I was a little in awe of him." No spoilers, but there's a line near the end of this fic that absolutely SLAYED me.

To know what's under the floor - beckaandzac, read by exmanhater - 4k, 21min, G, Charlie/Jo (Supernatural) "No one here is like me, Jo thinks, and she knows it’s what every eighteen year old on the planet thinks. And she also knows in her case it’s completely justified. But then she meets Charlie." A funny, sweet, slightly angsty sorta-AU starring Jo and Charlie as queer misfit college students.

My Heart Was Wrapped Up In Clover (The Night I Looked At You) - @dont-offend-the-bees 6k, T, Scripps/Posner (History Boys) "In which twenty years have passed, and it might even be long enough for Scripps and Posner to get their act together." Wonderful banter, and a lovely balance of regret and hopefulness.

The Only Way Out is Through (Or: How to be Almost, Mostly, Okay Again) - electricteatime | @kieren-fucking-walker - WIP, T, Dirk/Todd (DGHDA) "Even when he knows the truth somewhere deep inside it doesn’t mean he wants to acknowledge it. But, like all things, it’s only a matter of time." Fics in which Dirk works through his trauma are irresistible to me, and nobody does 'em like electricteatime.

A glimpse of something Holy, (where it wasn't meant to be.) - electricteatime - 610 words, G, Scripps/Posner (History Boys) "A look at longing, loss, and love. Two boys who keep looking, until finally something is found. A poem for some poetry loving nerds." A poem fic, and for this pairing, I'm here for it. Also, this is the second fic on this list to contain a devastatingly perfect turn of phrase.

For life's not a paragraph - @firstaudrina - 6k, M, Scripps/Posner (History Boys) "In the dying world I come from, quotation is a national vice. (Waugh)" The best kind of poignant.

By Any Other Name - Gray Cardinal (Gray_Cardinal) - 1k, G, Enola & Mycroft (Enola Holmes) "Sometime in the year since Enola Holmes reconciled with her brothers, Mycroft has clearly found time to familiarize himself with the language of flowers." The Enola Holmes books are absolutely my favorite Holmesian spinoff, and I love how this fic captures the reconciliation and understanding between her and Mycroft.

Lovely, Dark, and Deep - @hiddenlacuna - 3k, M, Sherlock/John, (BBC Sherlock AU) "'I soon realized that I must either leave the metropolis and rusticate somewhere in the country, or that I must make a complete alteration in my style of living.' - Arthur Conan Doyle, A Study in Scarlet. 'Upon consideration, as both choices before me were likely to require a similar amount of discomfort, I chose the former alternative.' - HiddenLacuna." Unusual, atmospheric, gorgeous.

The Part That Matters - @irisbleufic, WIP, E, Dirk/Todd (DGHDA) “'Find a boy?' Todd asked. 'Any boy? Would she be glad to know you found me?'” Y'all, irisbleufic is killin' it with this fun, satisfying fix-it fic.

March of the Degenerates - lotus_lizzy - 1k, T, Harry/Draco (HP) "An excerpt from Harry Potter's speech in 2003 during The March of the Degenerates." Short, defiant, memorable.

The Librarians of Baker Street - @missdaviswrites - 9k, E, Sherlock/John (BBC SherlockAU) "Sherlock is a cataloguer who's forced to work the reference desk once a week. Which he hates. Or at least, he used to hate it, until the library hired a new reference librarian. Guess who?" As a librarian, I'm very picky about library AUs, but from the moment I read "Sherlock is a cataloguer," I trusted this one.

Dearly Beloved - @mistyzeo - 20k, M, Holmes/Watson (ACD Sherlock Holmes) "CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE. This is to certify that on this TWENTY FIRST day of APRIL, 1896, DR JOHN H. WATSON, physician, 44, and MR SHERLOCK S. HOLMES, private detective, 42, of 221B BAKER STREET, LONDON were united in holy matrimony." This fic is a damn delight – it’s funny, charmingly anachronistic, and it relishes the accidental marriage trope.

Wind, Sand, Devotion - montparnasse, read by fire_juggler - 6k, 53min, T, Julie/Maddie (Code Name Verity) "Empty spaces want for filling, and Maddie Brodatt is overflowing." It’s also smart, moving, closely observed, AND it nails the dynamic of their partnership.

cross my heart (and hope to die) - @oneprotagonistshort - 3k, T, Dirk/Todd (DGHDA) "Dirk never understood why Todd always got mad at him after near-death experiences." I love this fic's depiction of these protective, secretly-soft idiots. There's also a joke in here that made me cackle like an idiot :)

Etta Candy's Last Stand - sanguinity - 2k, T, Etta/Diana (Wonder Woman film) "This is the way Etta is going to die: trapped between a bed and Diana Prince’s breasts." Bless Etta Candy and her goofy, awkward, romantic heart.
