-but i can easily imagine him buying u flowers often and all the cliche romantic stuff like that. it could definitely be construed as him trying to maintain his image as a normal guy but i’m sure we’d like to think it’s because he wants you to know how much he cares and thinks about you.

-pre timeskip, he would 100% help u with ur homework. study sessions would be the norm with you two, and no matter how hard you tried to affectionately get him to yourself, he’d be determined to finish helping you

-after establishing your relationship, he did everything he could to try and understand the social norms a little better. he can use basic communication with other people and would be capable of making friends, but he’d never been in a situation like this.

-he’d do the typical cheesy romantic stuff at first but you could tell he was unsure. you explained to him that there’s so specific way to do these things and that he should do whatever he feels comfortable with.

-he’d probably continue to be cheesy and romantic at times in a more teasing way when you were alone, but his main love language is acts of service. he’d do things for you to lift some weight off of your shoulders and be more affectionate in private.

-in time he’d become a lot more comfortable with the relationship, especially considering you’re someone he trusts which isn’t a common thing for him.

-again, it’d probably take him a while to warm up to romantic gestures and stuff like that. the difference is that mello may never fully become super affectionate.

-he may be an emotional person, but it’s very hard for him to communicate his feelings to others. he’d have to trust you a lot to be in such an intimate relationship with you and he knows he can confide in you, but you’d need to help him out a LOT.

-you accept him for who he is and he knows that too.

-after a long day you’re always there to supply him with endless chocolate and random activities to chill him out. you’d watch movies and just cuddle together until you fall asleep.

-you also understand that he needs to be alone sometimes too. in general, you’re his break from a very chaotic life in the best way possible

-you guys would just be the most chill and friendly couple ever. i feel like dating matt would just be the most comfortable thing ever you’d just be best friends but much more affectionate in the best way

-playing video games together and having lazy days all the time would be the focal point of this relationship. it would be an interesting contrast to matt’s occupation and hobbies. one minute you’re just eating junk food and playing games on the couch and suddenly matt is monitoring 56 surveillance screens and hacking into a database for mello. at this point it’s the norm and he even trusts you to help

-i hc that matt has adhd and can get depressed sometimes, and you help him out of these periods. you recognise when he needs to get out and do something. however, you’d never make a big deal about it unless you had to be a bit more blunt. in the end, he knows that you want the best for him and he trusts you enough to let you help him.

-on that same note, i think he would be very protective. he’d be worried to get you mixed up in some of the dangerous things he’s involved in

-he would be such a hopeless romantic, super cliche in the best way possible. always getting you flowers or other cute gifts like that and acting very chivalrous but in a relaxed way.

-he would also need reassurance quite a lot. he’s incredibly overlooked at work and isn’t taken seriously most of the time, so you’d need to make sure you told him often how great he is. his self esteem can be low at times but you’d help him through it and it’s what makes him love you so much.

Soldier

He thinks you sounded really silly, and bit weird. And he loves it!

When you're busy scolding him again for his recklessness and causing himself to get hurt, he's only staring blankly at you and randomly gets reminded about ducks.

Depends on what your accent is, he'll somehow always imagine you with some random animals that sounds almost same like your voice. And he doesn't mean it in a bad way, he really found it funny and cute. To which he'll let out a few chuckles at the thought.

Pyro

Almost the same as soldier.

They found the way you talk cute even when angry, sometimes when he couldn't understand what you're saying, he'll only tilt his head and due to his vision, it causes your face and surrounding to switch to cartoon like style at such random times, making pyro giggle and hug you.

Engineer's just laughing while he tries to explains to them why you sounded like that in the most easiest way so he could understand.

Engineer

He totally understands where it's coming from, even so, he sometimes still struggles to catch up to what you say when you're ranting and often would just nod and subtly asks about it again.

Medic

Medic also understands your struggle.

As he shouts quite alot in and out of battlefield, having someone not understanding what you're saying while in a bad situation is just tiring and just straight up annoying.

This happens alot when he first learns english, most locals who he talked to at the time just gets his words wrong at times and misunderstood him.

Scout

Ah someone he could relate to!

Scout talks really fast most time and with his accent, it really doesn't help with anything.

And while he doesn't like anyone talking so slowly as he like to consider them slothful, He'll so hesitantly probably ask you to slow down with your talking and repeat what you said even if it was an urgent, making you sigh as an explosion in the distant makes him jump.

Epithet side effect headcanons that somehow turned into disability stuff while I was writing 👍👍 (these are kinda angsty I did not intend for that to happen but uh here we are—)

Molly — sometimes if she overuses her epithet, it can almost “nullify” her mind in a sense, giving her short-term memory problems on occasion. Usually it’s mild and doesn’t have much effect, just normal everyday forgetfulness, but when it’s bad, her head gets really fuzzy and she can’t focus or remember anything, she gets awful migraines and headaches, and she has a sort of feverish mind (y’know like when you’re so sick ur head feels Weird and u can’t Brain right). It’ll go away pretty quickly as long as she rests, but uh. We know she ain’t getting much of that.

It’s really Stressful and frustrating for her, because she KNOWS she forgot something but she can’t remember WHAT in the slightest.

This doesn’t happen very often thankfully since she doesn’t strain her epithet much, it’s like a once-every-few-months kinda thing.

Giovanni — got this one from a fic, Giovanni has a lot of sodium in his blood (cause soup, salty) which gives him wonky blood pressure, and it causes chronic nosebleeds. I like this one a lot cause I used to get nosebleeds on like a weekly, and in the summer, daily basis as a kid.

He got his first nosebleed in late spring when he was about 5 or so, just running around outside. He didn’t notice (and trust me when I say it can be HARD to notice) for a LOOONGGGG time. He ended up losing a LOT of blood. When you get a nosebleed it can sometimes run down into your throat and you’ll start spitting up blood it’s Uncomfortable and Gross. Anyways he went back home, went “hi moms :3 *soaked in blood, choking up blood*” andddd they Freaked Out.

He’s anemic because of it, and has to take iron meds. If he forgets to take them he gets really dizzy, and if it’s particularly bad, he can faint.

Sylvie — Narcolepsy. And insomnia. You can have both (and from what I know, they often go hand-in-hand), and he is Not having a good time.

He’s exhausted during the day, he tries to take stimulants to stay up but they don’t always work. When it’s night, he can’t go to sleep for the life of him, and if he does, he wakes up very often. It’s Not Fun. Sometimes he just gives up, and sleeps all day, then works all night.

Mera — We know the side effects, but I’m gonna mess with it a bit (aka I’m projecting). The muscles around her joints are really weak and frail, meaning it’s looser, so she has Hypermobility. Possibly also Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. She’s got a lot of joint pain on top of her regular pain.

She’s got it b a d, if lifts her arm up too high it’ll jerk and she’ll be like “oh yup. Dislocated again.”

She’s absolutely COVERED in bruises and scars, whenever she has to get stitches it constantly tears. She heals horribly. She’s starting to develop arthritis as well.

Medication usually doesn’t do anything for hypermobility related pain, if you’re lucky it’ll take the edge off. Indus helps her out with heatpads and stuff, but other than that, she just has to tough it out.

Indus — nothing. Have u seen this man?? He probably drinks disgusting high vitamin smoothies every morning, he eats full proper meals, dude is in PEAK CONDITION. If he did have any side effects it would be completely negated by his sheer healthiness. Diseases and conditions fear him.

He is however that One Person who is prepared for Everything and will help u if u need it. He carries medication and heatpads for Mera in case she forgets them, as well as bandaids and antiseptic wipes. He’s just a Good fella… <33

-when will is in his "spectre form", he is 5'10" while montresor is 7'0. so you see this average man fight with a hot red demon guy who's like a whole few feet taller than him in the manor.

-Inspired by the original work, William doesn't really like mirrors or being fixated his appearance much-- he likes to keep it simple. He doesn't like being in vain.

-When Will transforms into someone, his body physically contorts and bones snap, extremities move until he looks like you. It's fucked up and perfect for the wax bit.

-When he's transforming into his spectre, his body melts and contorts until he becomes this spectre. If y'all seen The Mandela Catalogue and know of alternates, you know what I mean!! (I haven't seen it but I love the concept of alternates, I don't know the lore behind TMC nor have I seen it. I like to draw horror, not see it. I'm weird lol)

-Because Will doesn't have a roommate, he duplicates himself to play charades or even go fish with himself. Unfortunately it's hard because he is himself.

•Speaking of which, whenever Will has an off day, he clones himself and the clone gives him hugs. Unfortunately, the clone is blank so will can feel all the empty hugs-- it does nothing, but it replaces the feeling of closeness. he just wants to feel some form of physical love

•Additionally, Will is touch starved (this may just be confirmed) so he always looks at when ada and monty are together and that gnawing feeling of jealousy comes back.

-Will had considered disguising as Ada so he can get hugged by Montresor. Had he done it before, who knows?

*Cheers so loud* he LOVES sufjan stevens and glass animals!! (me too William) we need to get this man headphones and a mp3 player!! He just loves any indie music or something mellow and just speaks to him. 80s music is also cool.

✦ Kaedehara Kazuha

Kazuha’s such a gentleman that he’d never want to cross blades with a lady, but since we’re keeping it gender neutral, let’s say he agrees to teach you the art of sword. First and foremost he doesn’t let you use an actual katana first, just a bamboo stick reminiscent of a blade; it’d be dangerous to let a novice swinging around an extremely sharp object…

He’s charmed that you seem so excited to pick up this new skill, despite the fact that his personal style is something he made up on his own; really, he doesn’t consider himself to be the best candidate to teach you.

Kazuha shows you the basics, how to hold your blade, proper swings, etc. However, when you had your first spar everything went downhill. At one point Kazuha just instructed you to hit him while he’s standing still and you… missed every single time…

Also, you kept smacking yourself on the head with the bamboo stick whenever you absentmindedly spun it in your hands—

Once you had asked if you could hold the blade he used on his journeys, (in this case, a random sword he got during his travels in Liyue) you weren’t expecting it to be so heavy, so it almost fell on top of Kazuha. Luckily for both of you, he has great reflexes and combats it with a leftover dull blade. The guy was still so nice even after you ALMOST cut his head off with the blade...

He’s so nice about it, too, always reassuring you that practicing more always leads to improvement; and that even the most talented of samurai were once novices. Sure, maybe your ego was hurt just a little bit, but maybe sword-fighting wasn’t your style…

✦ Shikanoin Heizou

Heizou was all the happier to teach you; it’d be useful for you to learn some self-defence. As a doushin he’s already well versed in this field, but he does tell you that fighting should always be the last option and that things can be dealt with in a much more civil manner with a sharp mind. When you tell him about your misfortune with learning swordsmanship with Kazuha he has a punch-worthy smirk on his face. He's not trying to be mean, but the part where you almost cut Kazuha's head clean off was enough to make him start laughing.

He might boast, just a tad, but it’s more in a joking manner than actual pride; if there was anything for Heizou to be proud of it would be his detective job. Also knowing him he’d prob find some way to jokingly flirt with you, this is Shikanoin Heizou we’re talking about... It’s like his weird way of showing how comfortable he is with you, his dear friend. (And gaging your reactions is highly amusing to him.)

Moving on, Heizou is actually a really good teacher; which may seem unexpected to some people. He’s all very casual about it and hypes you up way too much even though you can’t even hit him properly... and he’s not one to let you give up so easily, all you need to do is follow his intuition (as he says).

One of your exercises was to try and hit a wooden plank that had already been spliced in half, but for the life of you you couldn't even crack it open, and it was already split beforehand!!! Heizou was being a good sport and giving you very encouraging remarks, and a part of him wanted to laugh seeing you poke at the plank defeatedly.

You know how despite Heizou being a melee DPS he still uses a catalyst (to some extent), he'd definitely just hand you his 'weapon' and tell you to smack something with it to relieve your frustration. What he wasn't expecting was for you to immediately slap him on the top of his head with it. Lightly, of course, this kind of playful fighting is pretty normal for you two.

Would lightly tease your utter incompetence to do even the simplest of techniques, and whenever you missed a punch to his arm in embarrassment only made him laugh harder...

He's confused when you apologize for wasting his time, why would he think that? Sure, maybe you're not, uh, the best at martial arts, but you seemed to have fun, and so did he!

✦ Tighnari

Unbeknownst to no one, Tighnari is probably the best mentor out there. Like Heizou he also sends an amused look your way when you tell him about your previous attempts, but isn't too worried; it's just a lack of practice, you can't be that terrible. Right? He does warn you that archery leads to sore muscles in weird places and a lot of bruises on your hands, as well as the uptake required to properly maintain a bow and arrow, etc... He has to stop himself from talking more because the longer he speaks the more nervous you begin to look.

Tighnari's a crack shot at archery, and he even guides Collei from time to time so becoming a teacher of yours was terribly easy for him. He does talk a lot, but as long as you can keep up with him you end up learning a lot more about archery then you expected.

He gives you a ‘demo’ before letting you try, and it’s almost hypnotic watching Tighnari slowly draw the bow and release with such concentration and precision; and at the very last second, his eyes flicker unexpectedly to meet yours before releasing, the arrow piercing through the test dummy with ease.

“Did you get that or were you just busy gawking at me?”

He guides you on how to properly draw a bow and arrow, hands over yours as he stands behind you. He can tell you’re kind of shaky, both from the strength you need to draw the string back and your previous failed attempts replaying in your mind. When Tighnari pulls his hands away, he ever so slightly leans in closer to your face.

“If you get a bullseye, I’ll let you scratch my ears.”

You didn’t get a bullseye.

Tighnari can’t help but smile at you mockingly when you gaped at the arrow that was nowhere near the target, sadly laying on the ground. As his friend, it’s only right to be a little mean to you, it’s just too funny not to. Besides, he’d let you pet his ears anytime, you just never asked; not like you need to know that.

He’ll stop the teasing after that and actually try to help you lol. Tighnari’s methods of guiding you are very helpful, but it seems like every celestial being in Teyvat was stopping you from doing it right—hell, you felt like you were cursed at this point because you did exactly as Tighnari said yet the arrow comically went far past the target.

Tighnari’s kind, and every-time you messed up he patted you on the head and gave you some words of encouragement in return. But dang, you really were bad at archery, even Tighnari didn’t think it’d be possible.

“Hey, it’s alright! Did I ever tell you about the time I accidentally shot a hilichurl in the butt when I first started archery?”

After a very long day of failed archery, Tighnari soothingly rubs your sore palms with a flowery-scented oil; now ungloved hands smoothening firm circles along yours and effectively massaging the exact muscles in a way that made you sigh. He tells you not to be too hard on yourself, and even if you suck at archery, it isn't the end of the world.

However, he takes a mental note to not leave you within the premise with a bow and arrow without supervision.

✦ Cyno

Next to Kazuha, he's also not one to so easily spar with friends of his. The day he became the General Mahamatra was the day he swore to use his polearm and electro vision to hunt down rulebreakers and keep order in the Akademiya, this vow also extending to his few close confidants, such as yourself. Also, he knew you weren't exactly a fighter, so he couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow when you asked to let him teach you.

Also, he had already heard about Tighnari's experience with you, so he was much warier when agreeing to this. But also, he felt kind of bad, constantly failing at things seemed a bit harsh, and Tighnari could have been exaggerating the details.

Cyno tells you that he'd try to help, but if you really were in a situation where you had to fight, he'd already be there to protect you. However, after you sheepishly explain what had happened with your three previous friends, Cyno falls into a profound silence; staring at you with a stoic expression that made your cheeks burn with flickers of amusement shining in his eyes. Oh archons, now he's teasing you, too... Maybe you should get better friends. (You're lying, you love all of them to bits)

He is a very busy person, but he manages to squeeze in some time to help you with this 'mission' of yours. He's a little awkward, despite being the general, he's not used to giving orders or guiding others excluding the dozen times he's threatened someone to scare them. Cyno thinks it'd be so much easier if you were just another scummy rulebreaker, being a kind mentor was a job for Tighnari, not him...

He shakes away those weird thoughts, you went to him for help after all, and as your friend, he shall fulfill the end of his bargain. He's already heard about your sad previous attempts, so Cyno suggests you should focus on defensive techniques than offensive.

Even then, you're still doing horribly. Cyno's menacing aura accidentally carries over when he's duelling, even if it's a very tame spar. You know him enough to know that he's just a socially awkward dork, but the glare that he gives you before coming at you is still quite scary... Even more so since you've seen him grab a fully grown man by the neck and throw him to the ground like a ragdoll.

You're essentially overreacting because Cyno is extremely careful to not go as hard on you, and most of his blows were practically featherlight (to him at least), he'd feel an endless amount of guilt if he actually hurt you. However, since this is you we're talking about, you got a few good jabs to your side and chest a couple of times, but not enough to actually leave any scars.

You faintly recall some polearm users throwing their weapons before, and they looked so cool doing it too. It wouldn't hurt just to try... And so you threw a stick straight into the back of Cyno's head.

You felt so bad about it, too, worriedly running over to Cyno who was rubbing the back of his head with that same blank expression. Only, when he looks at you, he just laughs; a faint chuckle somehow escaping his lips. You still don't know how being hit in the back of the head was able to make Cyno laugh... When you asked him, all he said was this.

"Your expression, it was funny."

The two of you decided to call it a day, thus ending the saga of trying to learn new weapons from your four friends.

⚪️Spot x Reader with OCD🖤

Im so sorry this is late! Anyways—thankfully— I got a lot of information about OCD as a disorder. Hopefully I didn’t get anything wrong, and if I did please let me know! It’s very important to me we get to see ourselves in our readers.

The spot has no bias for a neurodivergent partner. He sees them just as capable as him and anyone else—of course— it doesn’t mean he’s not going to do everything in his power to make your life easier. He’s mildly well-educated in most disorders, and he’s willing to adjust to his partners comfort. For example; If you two live together, he’ll try his best to clean up after himself and avoid a plethora of messes due to his experimentation.

Agressive or intrusive thoughts don’t bother him at all! He’s had his fair share of them, and of course, they’re called intrusive for a reason. They’re not something you want, and he won’t judge you or see you as weird or creepy for them.

Spot might do his own research in his own time to learn more about your condition and what he can personally do to help. Of course, he’s your boyfriend and not You’re therapist, so he’s not going to ask you anything personal. He’s not there to ‘fix you’.

If they’re bothering you to an extent, Spot will try to get you to be distracted from your compulsions. They’re not things that please you, they just ease anxiety, and of course, he’d rather you find healthier ways to calm yourself! Maybe you two can go out and do something you both like.

Spot doesn’t mind if you have Tics due to your OCD. If he’s cuddling you, or holding you or really doing anything with you, he brushes those movements aside if it makes you uncomfortable to comment on them.

He constantly reminds you that you’re doing great and he LOVES you so dearly. You’re perfect to him, and if you fret over a small mistake or if you’re worried you’d upset him, he’s quick to remind you that it’s okay. You never upset him! And accidents happen, it’s what makes you human. Even if you’re afraid you might act on a violent impulse and hurt him, he knows you wouldn’t because it isn’t who you are.

Not a very long headcanon, but he always reminds you that the stoves off. Or the lights were left off when you two left, or that he locked the doors.. just so you don’t need to worry about it.

If you’re on medication, he’ll make sure you take it regularly. Of course, he knows it’s definitely not something you’re going to really forget, but he would want to be reminded if he was in your shoes.

If a fear of an allergic reaction is bothering you, he’d want you to talk to him about it. Even if it’s something you know you’re not allergic to, or something you think is ‘dumb’, he understands you can’t help it. He wouldn’t want this issue to lead to compulsions of just not eating altogether either. The Spot couldn’t treat an issue like this himself, but he can try to push you into getting exposure responce therapy.

It's weird, the things you get used to when you've been stuck in space for years. How much you miss home. Socializing regularly with only six people. No wifi. Your cranky boyfriend.

this is one of the earliest vld fics ever written, and it has a CROWN idk. this fic makes me feel so many emotions all at once. like i miss u 2016 fic i miss u keith gyeong i miss u bitchy klance i miss u early voltron found family dynamic i miss u old lance’s family headcanons i miss u bamf team. rip to the earliest voltron fandom (also. how did this author know about romelle. in 2016.)

i am so fucking in love with aus like this. cowboy or farmboy where theyre quietly in love in their own bubble of the world?? i cannot get enough of them. i would read a million of them. this fic in particular is SO soft and tender, it is so so important to me. ive read it so many times. its one of those fics that brings a smile to your face that u literally cannot fight back

5. Prince Charming by @taylortot

Lance thinks that Prince Keith is just another stuck-up royal with an attitude problem until they spend some time together outside of the palace and he discovers that he couldn't have been more wrong.

Please please share ur kenlao headcanons n stuff🙏🙏🙏🙏

AHAHA OH BOY! I didn’t expect my KenLao shit to hit it off so well- but yeah totally. I haven’t had a ton of time to give them much more thought than the surface level stuff. A lot of it relates to the way I personally view the characters so I hope it’s good.

Pre relationship summary:

They both kind of make the first move with each other, the current dynamic (and fic) I’m working on right now has it where gang reunites every so often as a whole group. Kung Lao and Kenshi end up hitting it off at one, and gradually over time while they mature and grow more comfortable with themselves and each other they talk more outside of these meetings.

Kenshi and Lao I think are both confident in a manner that manifests in being very forward with other people- which for them ends well. Kung Lao likes to flirt, and Kenshi isn’t against it, it doesn’t bother him. He warms up to Lao and they end up really enjoying each others presence.

For Head-canons, Particularly Kenshi, because of how I characterize him:

- Kenshi eventually (idk how to word this well) accepts his blindness- and doesn’t often use Sento to see. Partially because I hc it would be pretty jarring to have that weird mindfuck of the souls of your ancestors which live in your sword directly beam visions into your brain- and also because he straight up just can’t have a sword out all the time.

- just adding this: he uses sento while fighting. Of course, so most likely he uses the sight it grants him almost exclusively in combat.

- I haven’t gone super in depth into more head-canons on what sort of aids he would use, because I need to do more research, but I think he uses a cane when walking around, and maybe later he has a service dog.

I want to point out that I’ve seen a lot of people brush off his blindness in favor of just pretending he can see like normal because of sento… which really fails to see the full potential and worth of his blindness in his character arc. I don’t know much about blindness and I am going to do research to be able to characterize and write him correctly!

Anyway moving on since I just talked about Kenshi so much (I love him) here’s some basic hcs for them:

- they alternate who is the big spoon/little spoon often.

- Kung Lao (later in life, when their relationship starts) has tattoos! He also grows his hair out, and gets a few more (bridge piercing cameo) piercings.

- Kenshi obviously has a beard

- Kung Lao can’t grow an epic beard and instead just fawns over Kenshi’s. Kenshi is mildly annoyed by it (he loves it.)

- once they’ve built trust Kung Lao trims and tidies Kenshi’s beard.

- Kenshi likes to tie up Kung Lao’s hair

- Kung Lao picks outfits for Kenshi sometimes, once Kenshi has drilled the importance of cleaning up and looking good into him enough.

- Kenshi steals Kung Lao’s clothes. A lot.

- over time their relationship develops from casual to serious, Kung Lao is the first to realize it. It grows to the point where Kenshi can’t imagine spending his time with anyone else, or trusting anyone else with that side of himself.

- Kung Lao yearns for an active and dramatic life at first, and Kenshi knows how painful it can be, so it worries him.

- over time Kenshi mellows out Kung Lao, and Kung Lao introduces Kenshi to positive excitement.

- ^ Kenshi dislikes large gatherings (such as concerts) and amusement parks.

- Kung Lao loves training with Kenshi, due to the unique techniques Kenshi’s fighting style provides. Kenshi also helps Kung Lao with coaching Shujinko after the first time he biffed it, which was pre relationship.

- takeda comes into the picture also, but I am not sure how I want to fit him into their familial dynamic yet….

Random Brett Hand S/O Headcanons

Brett’s the kinda guy to take you on either really classic dates (straight from the movies. ex: a candlelit dinner) or a “weird” date (something you wouldn’t necessarily expect from a man. ex: going shopping at the malls)

He makes a playlist about you as soon as he catches feelings. (he is so me)

He gives the best hugs. Brett just gives the most comfy and secure hugs.

His love language? This is a tough one because I feel like all of them would fit him, but I think it’d be words of affirmations. Although, he does enjoy going out to find you the best gift, or even just making something for you in his free time.

Are you artsy? Great! You two spend some time together just working on your own projects. Him on his puppets or crafts, you on whatever it may be that day. oooh i have so many i can sort them into appearance, character arc, and sillies, a lot of these are lifted from fics i like fyi,,, ty so much for the ask, this is very rambly lol

i tend to think of Tim as Malay mostly because of Head in the Lion's Mouth and renwhit's other works with the stoker bros which rewrote my brain although in my mind he has short hair instead of long like he has in those series. i also have fallen to the fanon of him wearing colorful button ups but i don't really like him in aloha shirts just cause i think he has better taste than that, i also think he has his ears pierced and i am not immune to the idea that he wears a shark tooth necklace he got from Danny. I do also think that he had his hair shorter and dyed purple on the ends in season 1 that he then stopped taking care of in season 2 so it was washed out green and all messy by season 3, by which time i also think his fashion had deteriorated and to me he was at the unknowing in the rattiest hoodie imaginable and jeans he had been wearing for at least 4 days. he can have a graphic tee as a treat but he was def greasy.

in terms of his character i have a lot of stuff that i think are headcanons that are actually just canon (like that he knew something was up with sasha before not-sasha was revealed or that he felt comfortable in research before getting drawn back into the horror) because i have a really shitty memory but heres some stuff im pretty sure isn't plain stated in the text: he and Jon bonded in research and were very close before Jon became the archivist, and part of how they bonded was that they were both overworking themselves looking for their answers and also they're really good at breaking into places together. i am also a sucker for the idea that jon and him were involved or dancing around something but had to break it off when jon got promoted. speaking of hcs with high angst potential, i also think a lot about subtle rituals of intimacy between him and sasha and the small ways in which he would have noticed that there was something off with her. i also see him as being estranged from his parents/ them suspecting him of having something to do with Danny's death, which is not helped by the box of photos n such i think he keeps hidden in his closet/under his bed. in terms of his mentality Tim is really relatable to me i think he really struggles to be trusted in meaningful ways and that Jon suspecting him of murdering Gertrude brought back a lot of bad memories of police and his parents thinking he killed Danny. he gets stuck into patterns of though and mindsets esp when hes depressed and has trouble thinking of things in different terms in s3. also he did nothing wrong but thats neither here nor there

sillies! hcs that have little support but i think are funny, shipping stuff, and like whatever.

It's not really supported by canon unless you think he was playing 4d chess with Basira in s2 but in my mind Daisy and Basira were the ones investigating Danny's disappearance and they have a bad history. i like to put this one in my aus/ give him and daisy and basira a weird antagonistic relationship whenever i can because i think its funny when people are bitter with each other.

while i do agree that Tim would enjoy outdoorsy stuff like rockclimbing or kayaking, i don't think he's that good at it. i def see him as like the nerdier brother and think that he got into stuff that he and Danny did together, but it would be like Danny trying to convince him to go on the black diamond while Tim zigzags his way down a blue square. idk what the rock climbing equivalent of that is but i do know that tim cannot do bouldering.

i also see tim as being aro-spec like demi-romantic bisexual or somewhere in there idk im aflux aroflux its all soup to me but he and sasha are queerplatonic to me. also don't @ me i think he at the very least flirted with elias a few times either pre-archives for funzies or at some point in s2-3 when he stopped giving a shit.

hcs are so fun bc they're like little outfits you can put your character in like not every fic i write will have all of these and some of my more minute ones contradic each other but they're like ships to me anywayyy

okay so i feel like price's favorite holiday tradition is watching the nutcracker

fhhdhshs ok this is like a super duper random headcanon that's gonna go off on a tangent here and if ur a possessive price girly maybe u won't like it but oh well

but i can see price like at one point having a small little relationship with some other lady whatever she's kinda irrelevant ngl

what matters is her child

omg that sounds bad wait lemme finish

what im trying to say is that the ex's child danced in the nutcracker and his ex brought him to see it

but this was like quite a few years ago

either that or he just dated a dancer that was in the nutcracker

idk man all that matters is that the tradition of watching the nutcracker was started

he likes going to a different theatre/company every year so it sorta switches it up

so sometimes he'll go watch the royal ballet or sometimes he'll watch some amateur recital thing

he just enjoys watching people dance and listening to the music

he thinks it's so cool how effortless they make it look

especially since he knows it's anything but

he really likes the mouse king vs nutcracker part in the beginning

and he thinks the dance of the sugar plum fairy is overrated

man kyle just likes to hang out with his family

mainly because his family has like twenty different traditions they do together

but he want to wait until he's older to have his own family

absolutely loves hanging out with his younger brother and sister tho

and we've already established this before but they're like little kids

so he likes sorta bringing the magic of the holiday traditions to them

one of his favorite traditions is to take his younger siblings on a drive to watch christmas lights

and then he drives until they fall asleep

ok so idek if this counts as a tradition im ngl my family is not very festive but whatever

but simon really enjoys (and is really good at) making popcorn and cranberry garland

i mean guys let's be real

simon is a seamstress at heart and on the surface

i mean it's not like he has the time to stop by the store and get someone else to sew his mask on for him

there's just something so therapeutic about sewing

and he really likes the sweet and tart smell of cranberries mixed with the buttery smell of popcorn

it sounds weird on paper but irl it's really good (i assume)

he also eats a lot more cranberries than he probably should but tbh who can blame him

on another note he also really likes making sugared cranberries and just keeping them in a bowl so he can snack on them

and i can't even blame him bc i tried them for the first time during thanksgiving and oml they slap

so yeah he honestly just lives for cranberry stuff

but ofc like everything else about his life this is a secret that can never come to life

but he will decorate his house with strings of popcorn and cranberry garland

also every year he always eats some by the end

kinda gross ik but like same

he doesn't eat the popcorn tho only the cranberries

and even then he pulls them all off and washes them

but he doesn't always eat much because they taste sorta weird by then

but yeah ghost is an ocean spray cranberry juice kinda guy

john "soap" mactavish:

soap absolutely loves gift exchanges

white elephant, secret santa, or just general gift giving

it doesn't matter soap loves them all

he loves to see who he gets and to buy presents for them

and ofc he loves getting presents in return

plus he really likes seeing just how much thought and effort everyone puts into their gifts

and he always keeps a camera on hand during gift opening so he can try and get that perfect moment of surprise

he's gotten a few good shots but a lot of them are really blurry

he's not the best photographer okay

but yeah he just loves seeing everyone so happy

his favorite one is probably white elephant though

because the randomness adds to the fun

and he likes to be able to look back at some weird object and be reminded of the good memories

rodolfo "rudy" parra:

okay so call it corny call it cheesy call it lame

but whatever

anyways rudy really likes taking christmas family photos

his family does one every year on christmas day and he lives for it

one of his uncles is a photographer so it works out anyways

and they always get the family matching pjs or outfits or costumes or something

and his family has a whole album of them

so he literally has like a christmas picture every year since he was a baby

his favorite one was a few years back where his grandpa was santa, his grandma was mrs. claus, his parents, siblings, and him were elves, and then his nieces and nephews were reindeer

he keeps that one on a frame in his desk

and it's cool to see how every year the crowd gets bigger and bigger as people get married and have kids

and guys it's been happening for a while but i am a rudy girl at my core

alejandro vargas:

honestly i feel like alejandro really likes advent calenders

he doesn't even really know why it just gives him something to look forward to everyday

before his break starts he always brings rudy over to open the day's gift with him too

he usually gets different calenders every year

some years he gets ones that have candy or chocolate

and other years he gets some with pocket knives or tools

is that a thing?

idk they should be

sometimes when he's feeling especially festive he'll get himself a few different ones that way he can have multiple things to look forward to

his favorite one is the neuhaus chocolate ones

he really has to fight the urge to sneak one in a day early

idk alejandro's just a fan of chocolate in general

but like fancy chocolate not just like hershey's

he needs truffles or cadbury or specialty chocolate
