THAT'S NOT WHAT HE ALWAYS WANTED. DO WE FORGET HIS WORDS DURING THE FIRST FIGHT BETWEEN THEM WE SEE? "I only ever wanted to be your equal!" actually going to lose it rn. COUNT YOUR FUCKING DAYS THOR. COUNT THEM.

I do think thor is being honest about how he thought the world of loki, but never enough to really look, to truly see his brother. never cared enough to dig deeper. and the mistakes loki made have just made it easier for thor to further ignore the deeper problems with his brother. you can love someone dearly, but still never truly see them. I wonder if knowing of thor's love makes it better or worse for loki. to be so loved, but for it to still not be enough to have been seen, to have been helped at all. or easier for it to be a lie and never loved at all, for it makes more sense to loki, because if you loved him why would you never dig deeper? why could you not see what was wrong? what was being done to him? how he felt? maybe that's why he was so adamant in the past, brushing thor's words away because otherwise that would mean even then it just wasnt enough. and it's more familiar to him too. the feeling he sits in, the knowledge that he's not loved or understood, that those around him think so little of him. and sometimes familiarity is easier than taking a new and brighter path.

he could be more. but it's hard to do that when everyone around you sees the worst in you and your stuck in a shadow your entire life. ignored. it's why I love mobius so much. he sees what others don't in loki and actually pushes him to be better and is there for him. mobius is truly the number one loki apologist.

the look of horror on loki's face when the ship appears. thor looks curious, but loki.... he knows who that ship belongs to and you can just see the dread fill him.

“Here we go.” You whisper, looking between Mobius and Loki, then up at Mount Vesuvius.

“Shh, any minute now.” Mobius adds.

“Until this entire town is wiped off the face of this planet. Imagine. All that volcanic ash-“ Loki starts.

“I know. We don't want to get too giddy.”

“Oh, come on! It's cool.”

“No, it is cool, but it's just not in good taste because...”

“They're all gonna die anyway.”

“I know. Now listen, I'm gonna watch the TemPad for any variance energy.” He says, pulling the device out from his pocket.

“Okay.”

“Okay, because we gotta be careful.”

“If you're wrong, and there's a good chance you are, anything we do can create a huge branch.”

“Oh, Mobius! You make even the end of the world sound boring.” Loki complains.

“Listen! Okay, we're not meant to be here.”

“And we don’t need Minutemen rushing here to arrest and delete us, okay?” You tell him. He nods,

“Okay.”

“Anything we do can impact the course of history. Do you get that?”

“Yes. Yes.”

“So we're gonna start with very small disturbances. Very small. Can you make bird noises?” You both frown at Mobius.

“Bird noises?”

“Yeah. Bird noises. Like some, like whooshing noises?” He begins to imitate a bird call. You roll your eyes,

“Moby? I was on the side of caution. But we’re going to need more than that.” Mobius continues his bird impressions to the disdain of Loki who groans and runs off.

“Loki!” You hiss. He doesn’t go far, standing on a nearby cart and proclaiming to the people of Pompeii that they are all going to die. On a positive note you’ve come up with a new scale to rate nexus events: starting with bird noises and ending with prophesying the future. Loki then decides to release a hoard of goats. Fantastic. Loki halts his Latin monologue to look over at you and Mobius for a fact check,

“We are from the future, right? What is the TVA? I mean, it's from the future. It sounds from the future. It's pretty futurey.” You’re about to answer him when you realise you don’t actually know. You’d always assumed the TVA just existed outside of time. Though you’re not sure how that would work. You’re about to ask Mobius when the volcano erupts. Loki then proceeds to have what looks like an existential crisis. “Nothing matters! Nothing has any consequence! Dance while you still can!” You lean over Mobius’s shoulder.

“How’s it going?” You ask, nodding towards his TemPad.

“I don't believe it. Zero variance energy. No branching in the timeline.” He tells you. Overhearing what Mobius says, Loki approaches you,

“The TVA would never even know we were here. If it were me, this is where I would hide.” A colossal cloud of ash rolls down the hillside, quickly approaching the three of you.

“Erm, Loki, bud?” You say, concerned that he hasn’t noticed. You point over his shoulder, “You got a little something-“

On your return to the TVA, the three of you head to the archives, searching for all naturally occurring disasters. Turns out there’s a lot of them. Mobius hands you a pile of events from before you existed, which you appreciated. Whilst you were curious about what happened to the world after you left it, you’re not too eager to see the long list of apocalypses. After what feels like hours of searching the three of you decide to take a break.

You and Loki are sat in one of the TVA cafeterias, waiting for Mobius to return with some food. Two hunters pass by your table, and you keep your gaze on the papers in front of you.

“Why do they look at us like that?” Loki asks suddenly. You look up at him.

“Like what?”

“Don’t act like you haven’t noticed. You and Mobius don’t get the looks that you and I get.” He observes. You sigh,

“That’s because when it’s me and you, they see two Variants possibly plotting to overthrow the TVA.” That shocks Loki.

“You’re a Variant.” He states, and you nod,

“I was set to be deleted, until Mobius stepped in and saved me.”

“You must be very grateful to him.”

“I am.”

“So you believe in the all powerful lizards which dictate the existence of trillions of people?” You smirk, looking down at the papers in your hand.

“I didn’t say that.” You glance up at him, recognising the look on his face immediately. He was scheming. “Look Loki, I may not be a hundred percent loyal to the TVA, but I am to Mobius.”

“Mobius, who is a part of the TVA, who you don’t fully trust. How can you know he has your best interests at heart?”

“I don’t. I’m just hoping, that he does.” Mobius soon joins the two of you. After a brief discussion about jet skis the conversation quickly turns far too philosophical for your poor ‘I’ve just read about a million case files’ brain.

“I don't get hung up on believe or not believe. I just accept what is.” Mobius says with a sigh. Loki looks at him incredulously.

“Three magic space lizards?” Mobius nods,

“Time-Keepers.”

“Created the TVA, and everyone in it?” Mobius nods again. “Including you?”

“Including me.”

“But not me.” You add. Loki laughs softly,

“Every time I start to admire your intelligence, you say something like that.”

“Okay, who created you, Loki?” Mobius asks.

“A Frost Giant of Jo

“And who raised you?”

Odin of Asgard.

Odin, God of the Heavens. Asgard, mystical realm, beyond the stars. Frost Giants. Listen to yourself...

It's not the same. It's completely different. No. It's not the same.

It's exactly the same thing. Because if you think too hard about where any of us came from, who we truly are, it sounds kinda ridiculous. Existence is chaos. Nothing makes any sense, so we try to make some sense of it. And I'm just lucky that the chaos I emerged into gave me all this... My own glorious purpose. Cause the TVA is my life. And it's real because I believe it's real. “Fair enough. You believe it's real.”

“Yeah.”

“So everything is written. Past, present, future. There's no such thing as free will.”

“Well, I mean, you know, it's an oversimplification...”

“But practically, yes.” You say, not wanting to hear the in-depth workings of the timeline.

“So, in fact, in a way, us three here at the TVA, we're the only ones who are actually free.”

“Where are you going with this, Loki?”

“How does it all end?”

“That's a work in progress.”

“Those lazy Time-Keepers. What are they waiting for?”

“Au contraire. Because while we protect what came before, they're toiling away in their chamber, untangling the epilogue from its infinite branches.”

“So when they're finished, what happens then?”

“So are we. No more nexus events. Just order. And we meet in peace at the end of time. Nice, right?”

“Do we get to live in peace or do we just disappear because we aren’t needed anymore?” You ask, suddenly concerned that he mentioned the end of time. Loki continues his own questions,

“Only order?” Mobius hums in response. “No chaos? It sounds boring.”

“I'm sure it does to you.” Loki suddenly changes the subject,

“You called me a scared little boy.”

“I called you a lotta things.”

“You did. You're wrong, though. You see, I know something children don't.”

“What's that?”

“That no one bad is ever truly bad. And no one good is ever truly good.” Well that was deep. Mobius looks down at the table in front of him.

“Scared little boy.” He repeats.

“Yes, it was quite patronizing. I thought it was a bit too far, actually.” Loki admits. Mobius looks up, an idea dawning on his face.

“You're very clever.” He tells Loki as he stands up.

“I know.” Loki makes a ‘well obviously’ face as you stand and follow Mobius as he makes his way to the archive.

“The Variant left something behind at an old crime scene. A cathedral. A candy box. An obvious anachronism. I gave it to Analysis, but they couldn't find anything real.”

“Why does that matter?” Loki asks. Mobius unlocks a box on a nearby shelf, before opening it up.

“Cause now we have two variables. Apocalyptic natural disasters and... Kablooie.” He pulls out the candy box.

“What's that?”

“Candy. Do you have candy on Asgard?”

“Yeah. Grapes, nuts.”

“No wonder you're so bitter.”

“There’s a massive vending machine near Renslayer’s office. One time, I’ll buy you one of everything.” You tell Loki as the two of you sit down at your desk. Mobius returns with a huge stack of files.

“Okay. Kablooie was only sold regionally on Earth from 2047 to 2051. All ya gotta do is cross-reference that with every apocalyptic event.” The three of you sit, sorting through the files for sometime. Mobius looks up at you,

“Anything?”

“Well, it's not the climate disaster of 2048.” You tell him, flicking the page over.

“Or the tsunami of 2051.” Loki adds.

“Let's go. Let's go. Come on.”

“2050. The extinction of the swallow. Is that a thing?”

“We killed off the swallows?” You stare at Loki. “How the hell did that happen?” Mobius shrugs,

“Completely screwed up the ecosystem.”

“Krakatoa erupted in 2049 as well. No Kablooie.”

“God, it's just one damn thing after another, isn't it? Cyclone, famine, volcanoes, floods...” Mobius lists, and you can’t help but agree.

“Got him. That's where he is.” Loki pulls open a case file before offering it to you and Mobius. The two of you peer at the papers inside.

“Alabama, 2050.” You read aloud. Loki looks at you both, seeming rather pleased with himself. Mobius grins,

“You're gonna take my job if I'm not careful.”

Inside Out

Chapter 10

Pairing- Loki x Reader

Warning-cursing and killing

Your thoughts and other characters are in italics. Flashbacks are in bold.

“What are you all doing? You need to get out of here! Now!” Jane said run.

“You're joking, right? That's Thor out there waving his hammer around and everything!” A Student as he uses his phone to record the battle outside; in their ensuing fight, Thor and Malekith are transported through the realms to Svartalfheim and London continuously, at the same time a fighter jet flies towards Malekith's ship.

“Confirming ship is hostile.”

“Confirm, the ship is hostile. You have permission to engage.” Pilot said into his headpiece.

“Roger. The missile's locked. The missile's on its way.” The pilot releases the missile. “Missile off target! I repeat...”

“Mayday! I'm losing control. Mayday! Mayday! I'm losing control!” The jet is then transported to Valaheim.

As they run through the library ground. “What are you doing?” Erik asked.

“My signal's lost connection.” Jane answered.

Some of the dark elves are behind them chasing after them.

“Jane! Come on!”

As Thor and Malekith continue their battle through the realms they land in Jotunheim and are confronted by a giant beast which then is transported to London, at the same time Darcy and Ian are being ambushed by the dark elves when Ian, with the help of the anti-gravitational energy force, grabs a car and throws it at them, Darcy looks at him in shock.

“Are you alright?” Ian asked.

“You saved my life.” Darcy answered.

“Yeah. Yes, I did.”

Back at the library grounds Jane manages to make the device work again and as she uses it suddenly makes Darcy and Ian appear behind her in each others arms kissing.

“Darcy?”

“Jane!” Darcy lets go of Ian and falls to the ground.

“Ian?”

“Selvig!”

suddenly Mjolnir appears and flies past them. “Meowmeow!”

Thor and Malekith are then transported through the realms again with Malekith landing back in Greenwich but Thor ends up in Charing Cross Underground Station

“Mind the gap.” Said the Man over speakers.

Thor turns to one of the passengers on the underground train that's just arrived. “How do I get to Greenwich?”

“Take this train, three stops.” Said the Woman on Train.

“Thor steps onto the train and places his hand on the bar above him.”

“Mind the gap.” Said the Man over speakers.

As the train starts to move, the movement causes the woman to fall against Thor and she stops herself by placing her hand on his chest. “Sorry. Sorry.”

Thor smiles politely at her

In Greenwich the realms come closer to converging, Malekith readies the Aether within him to bring forth the darkness. Y/n walks into the courtyard, in the middle of all the Mayham and destruction. Malekith had made a sphere around himself using the Aether.

“Dark One, come forward.” Malekith announced.

“What’s going on?” Y/n mumbled to herself as she looking at where Erik and Jane is.

“We're out of time.” Jane said.

“Maybe not yet.” Erik said looking at Y/n.

Y/n walks up to sphere and walks though it to see Malekith. “I thought Thor stoped you on Svartalfheim.”

“I can not be stoped with the Aether on my side.” Malekith said smugly.

“There’s a first time for everything.” Y/n said as her eyes glow white.

The Stratus clouds in sky turns into dark Altocumulus clouds. A lightning storm in each cloud, the thunder is so loud that the ground being to shake and the cars that’s around alarms starts going off. A pair of Electric blue eyes are watching everything unfold. Lightning begins to strike the sphere relentlessly until the sphere shatter blasting Malekith yards away.

Malekith stands up and gives Y/n a hearty laugh. “You are truly extraordinary, Dark One.”

Y/n looks over at Malekith with a cocked head. “Why do you keep calling me that?”

Malekith points at Y/n’s chest. “That power inside you it comes from the universe. It’s endless,constantly growing, and......dark.”

Y/n raises her eyebrows at Malekith. “Dark.....there’s nothing dark inside me.”

“Y/n!” Jane said rushing off to Y/n

“Jane. Jane!” Erik shouted.

Thor rushes out of the station to watch the Aether taking over Malekith and Y/n is fighting him.

“Y/n, I need to tell you some.” Jane started. “Y/n, Its about Loki.”

“Not the time, Jane.” Y/n snapped.

“No...Loki wasn’t taken back to Asgard....Malekith.....killed him.” Jane said with quiet empathy.

Upon hearing those words it begins to rain hard. The sky was already dark but the sun was able to shine though but now the sun wasn’t nowhere to be found.

Something inside Y/n snapped and the whole area begins to shake like an earthquake. Y/n’s eyes turns black as vines start to slowly form all over her body.

“Oh no.” Nathan whispered from the clock tower as he rushes down.

“He....Did.....What?” Y/n snarled as her hair stand up and red lightning starts to strike down on the ground in a straight line towards Malekith. Y/n uses her powers to pick up Erik’s gadget spears and fly them over to the Dark Elves.

“Is that why I felt emptiness because you took..Him..From..Me.”

Fire starts to form around Y/n as she starts to walk over to Malekith. Everything in her path burns she’s even leaving burned marks on the ground. Y/n holds out her hand and freezes the rain drops and then flat them then shot them at Malekith.

“Y/n! You have to calm down! Y/n!” Erik called out.

“Y/n’s not here right now.” Y/n answered.

“What.”

Y/n moves her hand and picks up Malekith’s ship and move it towards him. “Now Die!!!”

Y/n drops her arm and the ship falls on Malekith. Y/n looks around at all the Dark Elves and shot water arrows at them making all Dark Elves turn drop to the ground.

Jane uses the gavemetric which makes them disappears and appears on Svartalfheim.

It will be alright I will always be with you

Tears start to fall from Y/n’s face. She puts her hand over her mouth to stop the sobs from escaping but it was all in vain Y/n’s wail had seep through and just as it did a little green and blue colors appeared in the sky. An aurora borealis (Northern lights) starts to appear all around the area. But little did she and everybody else know it was happening all around the world.

“Y/n.” Thor called out.

Y/n looks over at Thor with eye black. “Is he really gone?”

Thor nods yes. Y/n’s face slowly turns name to normal and just as she is about to fall but Nathan catches her. Thor rushes over to catch Y/n but someone beats him to it.

“Don’t worry, I’m a friend.”

Darcy smiles and throws her arms around Ian and kisses him passionately.

In New York

At Tony’s tower Bruce is working on something that would change the world, when he looks up out the window and see Northern lights “Tony come look at this.”

Tony walks over to Bruce and looks out the window. “Is that the Northern lights?”

“Yep.” Bruce answered.

“You don’t think it’s Y/n’s doing.”

Tony and Bruce looks at each other with an uneasy feeling crawling up their spine.

Westchester, New York

Jean and Scott is watching tv when an emergency Broadcast on to the channel there watching.

One of the kids run inside the mansion. “Come you have to see this” said the trying to encourage her friend to come outside.

“You want to see what’s all the fuss is about?” Scott asked Jean.

“Why not.” Jean said with a smile.

Jean and Scott get up and walk outside to and they see the Northern lights.

“This is not caused by global warming.” Charles Xavier said as he wheels up to Jean and Scott.

Jean looks over to her left and see Charles and he has a worried look on his face.

“Professor, what’s wrong?” Jean asked.

“Grief, Jean.” Charles answered. “Grief.”

Couple of days later, Jane, Erik, Darcy and Ian are in her apartment sat having breakfast quietly.

“He's gonna come back. Except, you know, last time he was gone for, like, two years.” Darcy told.

“Well, it's only been two days, so...” Jane settled.

“Did he say anything before he left?” Erik wondered.

“Yeah, he had to figure some stuff out with his father. He kind of committed treason... on our way out.” Jane looks away and carries on eating her breakfast.

“Oh.”

On Asgard Thor meets with Odin at the palace.

“You once said there would never be a wiser King than me. You were wrong. The alignment has brought all the realms together. Every one of them saw you offer your life to save them. What can Asgard offer its new King in return?”

“It was not me who save them it was Y/n.” Thor stated. “Y/n’s powers took over.........Father, I cannot be King of Asgard. I will protect Asgard and all the realms with my last and every breath, but I cannot do so from that chair. Loki, for all his grave imbalance, understood rule as I know I never will. The brutality, the sacrifice, it changes you. I'd rather be a good man than a great King.”

“Is this my son I hear, or the woman he loves?” Odin questioned.

“When you speak, do I never hear Mother's voice?”

Odin sighs.

“This is not for Jane, Father. She does not know what I came here to say. Now forbid me to see her or say she can rule at my side, it changes nothing.”

“One son who wanted the throne too much, another who will not take it. Is this my legacy?” Odin wondered.

“Loki died with honor, I shall try to live the same. Is that not legacy enough? “ Thor declared.

Odin nods his head, Thor then holds up Mjolnir to offer it back to Odin. “It belongs to you, if you are worthy of it.”

“I shall try to be.”

“I cannot give you my blessing, nor can I wish you good fortune.”

“I know.” Thor turns to leave.

“If I were proud of the man my son had become, even that I could not say. It would speak only from my heart. Go, my son.”

Thor smiles. “Thank you, father.” he turns and starts walking off, as Odin watches

Thor walk off.

Odin's form transform to reveal Loki. “No. Thank you.” Loki smiles devilishly.

Sif and Volstagg are taken to meet, The Collector Taneleer Tivan.

“I present to you, Taneleer Tivan, The Collector.” The Collector's Assistan announced.

“Woh, Oh. Asgardians, it's an honor.” The Collector said as he bows theatrically.

“You know why we're here.” Sif stated.

“Of course. But if I may ask, why not keep it secure in your own vault?” The Collector asked.

“The Tesseract is already on Asgard. It's not wise to keep two Infinity Stones so close together.” Volstagg answered.

“That's very wise.” Sif hands the Aether over to The Collector. “I can assure you it will be absolutely safe in...in my collection.”

“See that it is.” The Collector bows his head, Sif and Volstagg turn and leave.

“One down, five to go.”

Weeks later

Y/n wakes in a bed and sits up fast looking around the room and she’s home her home. He rushes up to her and hold her head in his hand.

“Your here.” Y/n said with tears in her eyes as she covers Loki’s hand with hers.

“You have to let me.” Loki stated.

“No...No..No...I just got you back.” Y/n said as her chin trembling as tears roll down.

“If you don’t you will hurt a lot of people.” Loki said with a voice soft with affection.

“Please don’t make me do this.” Y/n wept.

Loki wipes away Y/n’s tears. “I love you...always.”

“I love you.” Y/n said as she grabs Loki’s face and kisses him with the want...the needed to have him.

Loki moves back and rest his forehead on Y/n. “You have to let me go. You have to let me go.”

“Goo...goodbye Loki.” Y/n uttered.

Y/n suddenly wakes up and see Nathan sitting at the foot of the bed. “Nathan.....”

“You were crying.”

Y/n sits up and touches her face and feels that it is wet, she quickly dry her face and looks over at Nathan.

“How long have you’ve been holding back your powers?” Nathan said softly.

“Couple of days.” Y/n answered.

“That was couple of days.” Nathan earnestly.

“I was calm.” Y/n started sad smile. “Queen Frigga, helped me find it and then she was murder and then I saw everyone I cared about turned to dust right in front of me, then I found out Loki is.......dead. I don’t think I could’ve hold it in anymore.” Y/n finished.

“I’m so sorry, Y/n.” Nathan said placing a Comforting hand on Y/n’s.

“The Aether told me that me that in order to stop what I saw from happening I need control over my powers and you look like you have everything together right.” Y/n said.

“Ya I do wait....you want me to teach you?” Nathan asked.

“Besides Charles Xavier you are the only person I’ve met that share powers with me. If what I saw was true then I need to get stronger and your the only person that can help me.” Y/n proclaimed.

“Y/n, you need to grieve...” Nathan disclosed.

“If I do that a lot of people will get hurt.” Y/n told Nathan. “Nathan, I have a strong feeling that the same person that’s going to kill everyone is the same person that tortured Loki.”

Nathan looks over at Y/n and can see that she’s a 100% sure about her theory. “Ok I’ll teach you.”

“What? Are you serious?” Y/a wondered.

“Yes.” Nathan said nodded.

Y/n hugs Nathan like her life depended on it.

“Roger. The missile's locked. The missile's on its way.” The pilot releases the missile. “Missile off target! I repeat...”

“Mayday! I'm losing control. Mayday! Mayday! I'm losing control!” The jet is then transported to Valaheim.

As they run through the library ground. “What are you doing?” Erik asked.

“My signal's lost connection.” Jane answered.

Some of the dark elves are behind them chasing after them.

“Jane! Come on!”

“Are you alright?” Ian asked.

“You saved my life.” Darcy answered.

“Yeah. Yes, I did.”

Back at the library grounds Jane manages to make the device work again and as she uses it suddenly makes Darcy and Ian appear behind her in each others arms kissing.

“Darcy?”

“Jane!” Darcy lets go of Ian and falls to the ground.

“Ian?”

“Selvig!”

suddenly Mjolnir appears and flies past them. “Meowmeow!”

Thor and Malekith are then transported through the realms again with Malekith landing back in Greenwich but Thor ends up in Charing Cross Underground Station

“Mind the gap.” Said the Man over speakers.

Thor turns to one of the passengers on the underground train that's just arrived. “How do I get to Greenwich?”

“Take this train, three stops.” Said the Woman on Train.

“Thor steps onto the train and places his hand on the bar above him.”

“Mind the gap.” Said the Man over speakers.

As the train starts to move, the movement causes the woman to fall against Thor and she stops herself by placing her hand on his chest. “Sorry. Sorry.”

Thor smiles politely at her

“Dark One, come forward.” Malekith announced.

“What’s going on?” Y/n mumbled to herself as she looking at where Erik and Jane is.

Y/n walks up to sphere and walks though it to see Malekith. “I thought Thor stoped you on Svartalfheim.”

“I can not be stoped with the Aether on my side.” Malekith said smugly.

“There’s a first time for everything.” Y/n said as her eyes glow white.

Malekith stands up and gives Y/n a hearty laugh. “You are truly extraordinary, Dark One.”

Y/n looks over at Malekith with a cocked head. “Why do you keep calling me that?”

Malekith points at Y/n’s chest. “That power inside you it comes from the universe. It’s endless,constantly growing, and......dark.”

Y/n raises her eyebrows at Malekith. “Dark.....there’s nothing dark inside me.”

“Y/n!” Jane said rushing off to Y/n

“Jane. Jane!” Erik shouted.

Thor rushes out of the station to watch the Aether taking over Malekith and Y/n is fighting him.

“Y/n, I need to tell you some.” Jane started. “Y/n, Its about Loki.”

“Not the time, Jane.” Y/n snapped.

“No...Loki wasn’t taken back to Asgard....Malekith.....killed him.” Jane said with quiet empathy.

Upon hearing those words it begins to rain hard. The sky was already dark but the sun was able to shine though but now the sun wasn’t nowhere to be found.

Something inside Y/n snapped and the whole area begins to shake like an earthquake. Y/n’s eyes turns black as vines start to slowly form all over her body.

“Oh no.” Nathan whispered from the clock tower as he rushes down.

“Is that why I felt emptiness because you took..Him..From..Me.”

“Y/n! You have to calm down! Y/n!” Erik called out.

“Y/n’s not here right now.” Y/n answered.

“What.”

Y/n moves her hand and picks up Malekith’s ship and move it towards him. “Now Die!!!”

Y/n drops her arm and the ship falls on Malekith. Y/n looks around at all the Dark Elves and shot water arrows at them making all Dark Elves turn drop to the ground.

Jane uses the gavemetric which makes them disappears and appears on Svartalfheim.

Chapter 5: you're the sun and i'm the moon because when you rise i fall

May 16th, 2012

Loki was marching through the living room, on a mission clearly but Thor stops him, turning him around by his arm “brother you know you can not go back to Asgard” Thor reminds him in Norse, like it wasn’t overwhelming Lokis’s thoughts every day, he remembers the hatred in Odins eyes, but he doesn’t care.

“I want to go home Thor, I want to see mother, I need answers” Loki says desperately, making Thor frown and step closer only for Loki to step away.

”answers to what?” Loki’s expression hardens and Thor frowns even harder once he realizes “your blood family?”

Loki nods instantly. He wasn’t going to mention the soulmate thing, not to his brother. “ I need to know who I am ”

“you’re my brother” Thor says harshly “adopted and blood” Thor was so sure of it that Loki was envious, he wished he could still call himself Thor’s brother

“a cut and a sad excuse for a vow means nothing”

“Loki you can not go” Thor sighs “I’ll ask them to provide you with what you need, if you promise not to kill anyone while I’m gone” Thor sends him a look and Loki sighs while rolling his eyes.

He hates when Thor looks at him like that, like the older brother he tries so hard, and fails, to be “ I don’t like killing, i don’t find it enjoyable so remember that because next time I’ll throw you out the window too” Loki glares but it doesn’t affect Thor at all, not after a thousand years.

Thor nods “so do you agree?” he asks, switching back to english to hopefully distract Loki from him already inching towards the helipad.

“no” Loki spits instantly, Thor stopping dead in his tracks at Lokis cold tone “I need to do this on my own and it doesn’t involve you”

“brother-“

“you are gullible to their lies. I am not, you’ll take the first answer you get and I do not. Do you see the problem I’m having here?” Loki says quickly, not caring about the hurt in Thor’s eyes.

The hurt quickly shifts though “I don’t have a lie detector like you” Thor snarls

“no, you can control thunder and lightning, you’re the golden child , the firstborn and first picked” Loki saunters forward, Thor stands his ground “the stable brother, the kind brother, the one destined for the throne” Loki hisses quietly, centimetres between the brothers, so close that Loki can see the resolve breaking in thor’s head “the saviour of the nine realms , the hero” Thor’s gaze hardens, trying to hide his breath shaking and his fists clenching.

Loki asks lowly “and what am I?”

“my brot-“

Loki interrupts before he can even hear that bullshit again.“what more than that?”

“hey you guys-“ Natasha tries to interrupt as well but the brothers don’t hear her at all, they completely forgot about their audience.

“you are my brother”

“what more than that?” Loki roars and Thor flinches away from him, his breath getting caught in his throat at Loki’s sudden yelling.

“what do you want me to say Loki?”

Loki scans him for a moment “the truth”

Thor’s tongue starts moving without his permission, spitting out complete lies “you’re a frost giant, a monster loved by no one, a runt left to die, the bastard son of an affair, the outcast, the weird little brother, the pawn for war, the last choice, the villain” Thor tries so hard to stop himself literally slapping his hands over his mouth, biting his tongue but nothing works “the one born just to die”

The silence was suffocating, Thor felt like passing out as he sees Loki's eyes water over, Bruce and Steve staring in shock, Natasha and Tony looked like they were ready to freak out and Tony nearly does “what the fuck Thor?” Tony roars, but he blames it on his chest suddenly weighing a thousand pounds of pain, Loki’s pain.

”nonononono” Thor says quickly “he can make people lie or tell the truth, I didn’t- I don’t mean any of it- I did not want to say any of that-“

“I asked for the truth”

“that was your truth, not mine” Thor says without missing a beat “do it again and wish for my truth” Loki wants to, he really wants to know Thor’s true thoughts of him but he can’t bring himself to do it so instead he punches Thor in the face so hard that the skin over his knuckles break and a couple tiles of the marble floor crack with the force of Thor falling.

“what was that for?” Thor groans as he props himself up on his elbows, his cheek already bruising and turning a dark red.

“go to hel” Loki spits before walking away but as he walk by Thor the latter swings his arm and Loki falls flat on his face.

Tony flinches as his own ribs and head start throbbing in pain, the two men fighting on the floor distracting everyone from Tony holding his face in pain.

He can’t look up to watch as Thor hovers over Loki and starts throwing punches, he doesn’t need to look to know because he can feel it . “you guys-“ he stops as another hit causes a wave of pain to shoot through his nose.

“wait stop” Loki begs as he notices Tony hunched over but Thor doesn’t listen, hitting Loki again and making Tony groan in pain. “Thor fucking stop!” Loki yells as he catches Thors hands. “Tony?” Loki asks in concern as he watches the man stumble, catching himself against the couch and shaking his head lightly.

“I’m fine” Tony utters but his voice shakes as he blinks quickly, Loki’s concern morphs into guilt as Tony gulps and he fights to keep his eyes open.

“Tony?” Thor’s voice shakes as he quickly gets off of Loki and walks over to the billionaire. Good thing he does because Tony eyes close and he drops, Thor catching him just before he hits the ground.

“It appears that his heart is slowing down” JARVIS says and even he sounds concerned, without missing a beat Thor picks up Tony’s limp body walking by Loki and the other Avengers who are frozen in fear, but they quickly snap out of it and follow Thor into the elevator.

“JARVIS tell the doctor there’s an emergency” Natasha says and the last thing Loki hears before they disappear behind the elevator doors is JARVIS’ smart ass replying “I already have miss Romanoff”

Loki snaps out of it once he can hear the elevator head to one of the lower levels. He sighs loudly and he runs his hand through his hair, his heart beating 100 miles an hour the complete opposite of Tony’s condition and he immediately knows it’s the bond, the bond is doing something.

Maybe it’s from the fight, or maybe Tony’s mortal body is finally giving out. Either thought makes Loki sick.

“JARVIS I’m going to use my magic” he says and before the AI can reply he disappears in green and shows up on the medical floor, quickly heading down the hall and finding them in one of the rooms.

“what the fuck?” Clint whispers as the heart monitor Tony is connected to starts to beep slower when Loki walks in.

“Move” Loki demands pushing Steve aside and without hesitantly he hivers his hands over Tony’s chest, a green light extending from his hands and covering Tony like a blanket. He focuses as hard as he can, pushing back the that voice in his head screaming at him and only stops when the warmth running through his veins fades and he hears the heart monitor beeping steadier with every second.

You’re going to kill him.

“L, what does that stand for?” Clint asks with a frown as everyone looks at the mark on Tony’s wrist, Loki wants to fucking disappear but he just gave almost all his strength to Tony.

“Loki” Thor’s voice is low as he turns his attention to his brother sitting in the uncomfortable seat “that’s a soul mark” Thor states as he marches over to his brother and Loki doesn’t even bother reacting, he’s fucking tired. Thor stops in front of him and holds out a hand “I want to see your wrist”

“No” Loki spits and tucks his hand under his arm to protect his wrist

“give me your wrist” Thor demands lowly and when Loki starts to shake his head Thor grabs his arm. Loki pulls back making Thor step forward and Loki kicks him in the stomach so hard he hears Thor wheeze.

Instead of letting go Thor pulls Loki down with him, ignoring Steve and Bruce yelling at them to stop. Loki hits the ground with a thud and he feels his muscles ache as Thor pins his hands over his head “brother please don’t” Loki begs, too tired to fight back but of course Thor ignores him like he has for the past 1000 years and pulls his sleeve down revealing the mark.

Loki sighs as he sees Thor’s face drop, the colour draining from it and Loki closes his eyes. He pants as he catches his breath and he keeps his eyes closed because he’s fucking tired and he doesn’t want to see anyone’s reaction. Doesn’t want to see the disgust and fear.

“what the hell does this mean?” Loki hears Natasha ask from his left and even if he wanted to look at her he wouldn’t be able to, his eyes so heavy he would think there’s tiny mjolnirs holding them shut and he doesn’t feel a tear fall from his eye as he slips into darkness.

The first thing that clicked in his brain was that he needed water, his tongue was so dry, his lips cracked as he groaned and sat up only to freeze feeling all the tension in the room.

Loki was on the floor, Thor, Natasha and Steve standing near him while Bruce and Clint were standing at his bedside.

“nobody kissed me right?” he mutters only to have angry and shocked faces staring at him “what’d I do?”

Steve’s face turns cold “the mark on your wrist” Tony’s expression falls as he sees Steve look at his wrist, the mark hidden from their view thank jesus “why didn’t you tell anyone?”

“tell anyone what?” he asks innocently as he tears the wires off of his chest to avoid looking at anyone, he doesn’t want them to see his emotions.

“don’t do that not now Tony” Bruce nearly begs but Tony ignores him and jumps off the bed as he gets the last wire off, he couldn’t care for their worries or whatever they wanted to yell at him for.

“what happened?”

“your soulmate was draining your energy” Thor says lowly as he stares down at Loki.

“ah fuck” Tony grumbles and runs a hand down his face, his stomach churning and he has to repeat to himself don’t puke don’t puke don’t puke . Tony peeks through his fingers at Steve, Thor and Loki “so why is he conked out?” Tony asks, his hand dropping from his face and he ignores the pressure in his heart.

“He did something to help you” Thor says, still staring down at his brother.

“so you’re just going to leave him on the floor?” Tony hisses as he moves to help Loki “jesus you guys are assholes” he doesn’t know why he wants to help Loki, he likes helping people but this person is Loki.

Loki did help him though. Cared for him while everyone else didn’t, while they were sound asleep. Tony probably woke Loki up that night- No, Thor said that Loki sleeps during the day but, he hasn’t been, he’s been up and walking around.

“he didn’t tell-“ Steve tries to justify leaving Loki passed out on the floor like some lowlife drunk.

“I didn’t tell you either!” Tony roars making Steve and Natasha freeze, Thor looks impressed while Clint and Bruce look afraid?

Tony lets out a huff and walks over to Loki “Thor help me” Tony demands as he pulls Loki up by his arms and Loki's head falls back, Tony winces at the crack he hears but quickly forgets about it as Thor instantly is behind Loki, tucking his hands under Loki's arms and pulling him up to his feet.

“so what’d he do to help me?” Tony asks as he stands up. God Loki would not stop helping him and for what? What did Loki want?

Thor moves to one side so Tony could support the other as they bring Loki over to Tony’s previous spot on the gurney “probably gave you some of his strength, he passed out before I could ask”

Tony can’t help but ask “that isn’t dangerous?” it would fucking suck if Loki kicked the bucket before Tony could repay him for the help.

“it depends on how much of his strength he gave you”

“well how much?”

“never got to ask him” Bruce says as he moves out of the way, he did not want to be in Tony’s way when he was pissed off.

Tony groans as they finally get Loki on the gurney “all of you act like this is nothing” Tony grumbles.

“What?”

“my soul is going to bond with his and what happens if we don’t fall in love?” Tony asks nobody as he fixes Loki’s leg so it’s not hanging off the bed.

“No one knows” Thor says. How bad could it be? Thor has never heard of anyone dying because they don’t love their soulmate. But then again Thor has also never heard of soulmates that didn’t love each other.

“One of us will die” Tony says lowly “I almost just did and it’s only been three weeks so what happens in three months?”

“don’t talk like that” Steve spits.

“it’s not that hard to figure out cap”

“we’ll find a-“

“ It's our souls Rogers” Tony repeats slowly to get it into Steve's thick head “you wanna make a cure for soulmates? they can’t even cure HIV, how would you cure this?” fuck, Thor and Loki don’t even know what else the bond will do so how in the fuck are they supposed to whip up a cure for this? Tony could barely stop himself from dying a couple years ago.

“Tony” Steve breathes out, obviously not wanting Tony to think like that.

“just forget about it” Tony grumbles as he walks out the door. His mind set on a drink so he goes upstairs and drinks until he can’t anymore.

He was going to die anyways.

It’s what you have wanted for years. At least this way you’ll have a meaningful death.

Loki was sitting on a bed, staring with with almost lifeless eyes at the bed sheets he held fisted tight in his hands. Any second now...

As if summoned by Loki's thoughts, a figure popped into existence, all glowing blue skin and blue eyes dark as he walked over to Loki's still form.

Tess said nothing even as he sat down and wrapped his arms around Loki who didn't resist the comforting gesture, turning into Space's side.

"How are you feeling?" Tess asked finally once Loki was settled comfortably.

Loki tried to figure that out. He had been for over a year or so now. He wasn't sure entirely how much time had passed. If he was honest, he'd say he felt nothing. Empty and numb.

He didn't say that, only shrugged. It wasn't like he could lie. If he did, Tess would find out the truth from Soul who only needed to touch Loki's skin to find out what he was feeling and had done so before even when Loki had insisted on her to stop.

'For your own safety,' was all she said before violating his thoughts and feelings.

"Are you unhappy?" Tess asked with a slight frown, interrupting Loki's thoughts. "Is something wrong?"

'Yes,' Loki thought as he squeezed his eyes shut tight and shook his head.

Tess wasn't convinced. He never was. "If there is something you need or want, you can always ask us. We'll do whatever you need to be happy. You know we will."

Loki did know. That's what frightened him. He was scared to speak a word around them all anymore for the exact reason that they'd do anything neccessary for his own wellbeing.

They had killed Thanos after everything the Mad Titan had put Loki through to force him to attack New York to get Tess from those Midgardian's.

Power had been the one to bring back Thanos' decapitated head to Loki with the assurances that the Titan had suffered greatly before he died. Loki had both felt relieved and sick as he stared at Thanos' mutilated head, barely recognizable that if he hadn't been told it was Thanos he would never have guessed so.

Loki had been foolish to think it was a one time thing. He told himself they were all simply protective of him was all.

And Loki hadn't been lying. They all were protective of him. Very much so.

It was when Loki had let slip Odin's neglect and the hurt Loki had felt for never feeling good enough that he found at how much power and damage his words could cause if he wasn't careful. Loki had nearly been sick when Reality came to him, tossing a single blue eyeball in his hand as he explained what they'd done to the old king before ripping the one good eyeball from his eye socket and shortly after, killing him.

Loki learned to shut his mouth around them all, afraid of what they'd do to anyone else Loki spoke of that had hurt him. Yes, he felt some satisfaction that they were no longer able to hurt him but he couldn't enjoy it when he knew what they had gone through before they died. He never asked for anyone to die.

But then Loki started getting hurt. When he fought in battle against enemies or simply because he hadn't been paying enough attention to what he was doing.

They didn't like it at all. They all hated seeing Loki hurt and after Time mentioning seeing a time where Loki had died, they got even more paranoid. So they took him away from it all to somewhere they promised he'd be completely safe.

Loki had been furious at first. They couldn't just take him away from his life! But they had and they only gave Loki sad smiles when he screamed at them about betrayal.

Loki had tried to hurt himself, just to show they couldn't always protect him but found it impossible. He threw his fists at the wall but there was in invisible barrier between him and the wall that made it impossible to connect his fist. He tried scratching at his arms but the same thing happened. He tried to 'accidentally' trip but he never hit the floor, simply floating until he lightly touched the floor.

He couldn't injure himself.

So he screamed and he raged and he demanded to be let out of the room they'd stuck him in but nothing. They visited all the time but they never let him out again.

His anger had turned to a deep depression where he'd sit on his bed or on the floor and stare at the door across the room that never opened. A cruel joke to him, having a door that he couldn't open.

His magic was practically useless wherever he was. He'd tried to use it, even against his lovers who never got angry when something was thrown at them but seemed even more sad each time it happened. He couldn't use his magic to leave.

He was trapped.

Eventually, Loki accepted that he couldn't escape. Not by himself at least. He calmed down at any rate which had pleased the stones though Loki felt deadened inside.

The depression had gotten even worse after they killed his brother. Loki hadn't realized what he'd said until it was too late. It had been a simple mention of Thor always getting the attention and being Thor's shadow.

Loki hadn't been gifted with any body part of Thor's but the stones spoke about it to him, what they'd done before they killed him. Loki had been in horror and shock, unable to process that Thor was dead. He had been sick nearly over a month after that, walking up screaming from nightmares and crying whenever the stones tried to make him feel better. How could he ever feel better?

He'd gotten his brother killed.

After that, Loki had gone numb.

Tess visited the most. Loki had no idea where they went when they weren't with him but he found himself lonely when they weren't there. He normally wasn't left alone for long though. Despite everything, he still loved them. That's what he hated most about his situation. He shouldn't love them anymore but he did.

He did.

"Can I..." Loki swallowed hard, letting out a shaky breath. "Can I come out now? I'll...I'll be careful, I promise—"

Tess was already shaking his head, tightening his hold on Loki. "It's too dangerous. You could be hurt."

"Please, I'll be careful. I swear," Loki pleaded, becoming desperate every day he was trapped. He knew asking would do no good. Tess would never relent but he still got his hopes up even if it was for them to be crushed again.

"Hush, you're speaking nonsense. You're safe here," Tess shushed him.

Loki felt frustrated tears gather in his eyes. "But—"

"I said no," Tess said with a frown. "I let you have anything you want but you know the rules. You must stay here, where you're safe."

Loki went to speak again before another figure appeared right on the bed in front of them.

Loki shook his head, glancing away from Mind who looked at Tess. "Is everything okay? Why is he crying?"

Tess frowned deeply. "He wants to go outside again. It'll pass."

"Oh," Mind said before shaking her head as she drew closer. "That's too dangerous."

Loki wanted to scream but he only shook in Tess' hold as Mind reached for him, cupping his face between her hands.

"P-please, let me go," Loki whispered, tears slipping down his cheeks. "Please, d-don't—"

Mind hushed him as she kissed him softly, Loki making a weak noise of protest but could do nothing with Tess' arms crossed over his own.

Loki didn't see how Mind's hand pulsed a soft golden yellow, a trail of her power seemingly sinking into Loki's skin but he felt it as a sense of calmness and love for the people protecting him sink into his mind, making him go lax and pliant in Tess' arms.

"We love you," Tess murmured into his ear as Mind drew away and Loki took a shuddering breath.

"I...I love you all too," Loki said finally. Mind and Tess smiled at one another as Loki sighed and closed his eyes, relaxing fully into Tess' embrace.

He was safe. He had all of them to take care of him. He couldn't be hurt anymore.

Why would he ever want to go back outside?

Chapter 7

Pairing- Loki x Reader

Warning-cursing

Your thoughts and other characters are in italics. Flashbacks are in bold.

Back at Thor's meeting with his comrades.

“And what of the All-Father?” Sif asked.

“It is my sworn duty to notify him of crimes against the throne.” Heimdall stated.

Odin visits Heimdall accompanied by some of his guards. “You called me here on an urgent matter. What is it?”

“Treason, my lord.” Heimdall answered.

“Whose?”

“Mine.” Heimdall draws his sword.

At the same time more guards interrupt them. “My King, the mortal has been taken.”

Odin looks at Heimdall as he commands his guards. “Stop Thor, by any means necessary.”

As they hear the guards approaching.

“There they are! Take them. On my command.”

“I'll hold them off. Take her.” Sir told Thor

“Thank you.” Thor and Jane go off.

Loki goes to follow them Sif draws her sword and places it under Loki's throat. “Betray him and I'll kill you.”

Loki chuckles. “It's good to see you too, Sif.”

Loki leaves to join Thor and Jane as the guards get closer to Sif.

Back at the original meeting with Thor and his comrades.

“Assuming you can get Loki's help, and you can free this mortal, what good would it do? We'd all be dead the minute we step one foot outside the palace.” Volstagg remarked.

“That, my friend, is where we won't be leaving by foot.” Thor said with a smirk.

Thor, Loki and Jane meet Volstagg and Y/n where Malekith's ship had crashed into the palace.

“I will give you as much time as I can.” Volstagg noted.

��Don’t worry there’s a barrier 5 yards in front of us they won’t be able to get past it until we’re out the palace.” Y/n explained.

“Where’s the fun in that.” Volstagg said with broad grin. “Until, next time my Lady.”

“Until, next time.” Y/n said with a smirk then. Y/n looks up and see Loki. “The handcuffs was a nice touch.”

“You think so?” Thor asked.

“Funny.” Loki chimed in.

Thor and Volstagg do a forearm shake. “Thank you, my friend.”

As they walk towards Malekith's crashed ship, Jane smiles and nods at Volstagg, then as Loki is about to follow Thor and Jane Volstagg stops him

“If you even think about betraying him...”

“You'll kill me? Evidently there will be a line.” Loki told Volstagg.

Volstagg then lets Loki pass as Thor, Y/n , Jane and Loki board Malekith's crashed ship, Thor looks at the controls and starts pressing some button, looking unsure of what he's doing.

“I thought you said you knew how to fly this thing.”

“I said, ‘how hard could it be?’”

Meanwhile, the Asgardian guards rush towards the ship. “They're on the ship! They're on the ship!.” Before they can even touch Volstagg they run into the barrier and knock themselves out.

“Like hitting a brick wall.” One of the Asgardian guard said before he passed out.

Back in the ship.

“I’ll put a Force field around the ship.” Y/n opens her hands and a bubble forms around the ship.

“Well, whatever you're doing, brother, I suggest you do it faster.” Loki nagged.

“Shut up, Loki.” Thor continues to frantically press every button to start the ship.

“Loki you’re not helping.” Y/n voiced.

Loki snug his shoulders. “You must have missed something.”

“No, I didn't, I'm pressing every button on this thing.”

“No, don't hit it, just press it gently.” Loki said as he hits the buttons.

“I am pressing it gently. It's not working!” Thor said as suddenly the ship comes to life, Thor laughs.

“Get him! Get him!”

Volstagg starts laughing as they watch the ship start to rise, hitting the columns of the palace.

“I think you missed a column.” Loki informed Thor.

“Shut up!” Finally the ship breaks through the palace walls and takes off.

As they are flying through Asgard. “Look, why don't you let me take over, I'm clearly the better pilot.”

“Is that right? Well, out of the two of us which one can actually fly?” Thor commented.

As they are flying over Asgard suddenly Jane collapses.

“Jane!” Y/n rushes over to help her but when she touches her Y/n gets pulled into her mind. Everything is blood red and dark.

“Hello!” Y/n shouted.

“You have to stop him.”

Y/n turns around fast and see Jane but her eyes are black. “Stop who?”

“It can only be you.” Jane started. “If you don’t millions, billions will die including your friends.”

“Petit?”

Y/n turns around slowly and see Gambit reaching out but he’s turns to dust and Y/n’s eyes are frozen open.

“Y/n?”

Nick,Steve, and Tony they all started to appear and reaching out for Y/n then turns to dust.

“No..no..stop this..stop this. I don’t want to see this.” Y/n exclaimed as black veins appears on her face.

“That’s what’s going to happen if don’t stop him.” Jane stated.

“Calm down...calm down...this isn’t real it’s not real.” Y/n said to herself.

“You saw what is he after.”

Y/n exhale in her best attempt to calm down, she then looks at Jane. “What do I need to do to stop this from happening?”

“Both powers the you were born with and given is endless control it get even stronger then you already are and only then you will stop him.” Jane informed.

Y/n pulls out and moves back.

“Oh, dear. Is she dead?” Loki wondered.

“Jane.” Thor called out.

Jane raises her head, looking weak. “I'm okay.”

“Jane did you see that?” Y/n questioned.

“See, what?” Jane said in a curious way.

“Nothing..” Y/n lied. “I’m gonna freeze the Aether spreading further in your body ok.”

Jane nod ‘yes’ and Y/n holds her hands out over Jane’s arm and freeze the the Aether.

“Better?”

“Much, thank you?”

Y/n sits back looking shocked.

As they continue to fly, the ship hits and breaks off a part of a massive building.

“Not a word.” Thor told Loki.

“Several smaller Asgardian ships start following them.”

“Now they're following us.” Loki commented. The smaller ships start firing at them. “Now they're firing at us!”

“Yeah, thank you for the commentary, Loki! It's not at all distracting!” Thor said sarcastically.

The ship then hits a massive stone monument of King Bor, breaking the head off. “Well done, you just decapitated your grandfather.”

The smaller ships continue follow and fire at them as they fly over Asgard] “You know this is wonderful. This is a tremendous idea. Let's steal the biggest, most obvious ship in the universe and escape in that. Flying around the city, smashing into everything in sight so everyone can see us. It's brilliant, Thor! It's truly brilliant.” Suddenly Thor pushes Loki off the ship.

“Y/n time to go.”

Thor’s voice snaps Y/n out of her shock state. “Ya ya right right.”

Y/n jumps out the ship, Thor then picks up Jane and jumps off the flying ship and lands onto a smaller ship being flown by Fandral, Loki has also fallen onto the ship.

Fandral laughs. “I see your time in the dungeons has made you no less graceful, Loki.”

Loki looks over at Y/n and see empty stare like she’s not even on this Plane. “Y/n, are you alright.”

“Ya. Ya I’m fine.” Y/n lied with a fake smile.

Loki sees right though Y/n lie and can tell that something is the matter.

Maybe she’s still upset with me

“I’m not upset.” Y/n told Loki.

“Then what’s the wrong?” Loki asked.

“I can’t talks about it because I don’t even understand it myself.” Y/n answered.

“You know you could tell me anything when the time is right.”

“Ya, I know.”

The Asgardian ships above them continue to follow and fire at Malekith's ship as they think that Thor is still on there. Thor lays Jane down next to where Y/n is standing.

“You lied to me. I'm impressed.” Loki grinned.

“I'm glad you're pleased. Now, do as you promised. Take us to your secret pathway.” Thor ordered.

Loki smiles and takes over the ship's control, at the same time the Asgardian ships spot them and start firing at them.

“Fandral.”

“Right.” Fandral picks up a rope and steps on to the edge of the ship. “For Asgard.” Suddenly he jumps off the ship and uses the rope to swing onto the Asgardian ship following them. “Nothing personal, boys!” He knocks out the three guards on the ship then looks over to Thor and salutes him. On Fandral's ship Loki flies them towards the mountains.

“Loki!” Y/n and Thor called out.

“If it were easy everyone would do it.” Loki commented.

“Are you mad?” Thor questioned

“Possibly.”

Thor holds on to Jane, Y/n grabs the rim of the ship as Loki heads straight for the wall of the mountain, suddenly they enter right through the mountain and then enter through a portal to Svartalfheim.

“Ta-da!”

On their ship, Algrim approaches Malekith. “We must attack now.”

“No. Asgard is not important anymore. The Aether has returned home.” As they fly over Svartalfheim.

Jane continues to lie down and Thor puts a cover over her]

Loki sighs. “What I could do with the power that flows through those veins.”

“It would consume you.” Thor proclaimed.

“She's holding up alright, for now.” Loki disclosed.

“She's strong in ways you'd never even know.” Thor replied.

Y/n walks up in between Loki and Thor. “Can we not do this we have more oppressing matters.”

“Y/n is right I will not fight with you brother.” Thor turns away from Loki.

“Say goodbye.” Loki voiced.

“Not this day.”

“This day, the next, a hundred years, it's nothing. It's a heart beat. You'll never be ready. The only woman whose love you've prized will be snatched from you.”

“And will that satisfy you?” Thor asked.

“No guys let’s-“

“Satisfaction is not in my nature.” Loki stated.

“Surrender not in mine.” Thor replied.

“The son of Odin.” Loki said dryly.

“No, not just of Odin! You think you alone were loved of mother? You had her tricks, but I had her trust!” Thor shouted.

“Enough!” Y/n yelled. “We have more pressing matters then who had Frigga’s trust you both did. She believed in both of you and she wouldn’t wanting you two to be fighting so can we please table this until Jane Is better.”

Thor walks over to Jane and Loki walks to the other end of the boat.

“Thank you.” Y/n told Loki and Thor.

“I wish I could trust you.” Thor turns his back to Loki.

“Trust my rage.”
