Yandere Gintoki Platonic Headcanons
Warning(s): Manipulation, Distortion, Delusions, Isolation, Deterioration, Possessiveness, etc
I don't see much of this on here or on Wattpad, so I wanted to give it a try 😛
Gintoki is known for his laid-back, carefree, somewhat lazy, and comedic personality amongst his peers and people who come across him. Not to mention his obsession with sweets. Strawberry flavored sweets to be specific. With him and the gang doing odd jobs and goofing around the city they reside in, such as gambling, reading manga and comics, it's rare to see Gintoki alone expressing his true self while no one is around. He's dedicated to protecting his loved ones and friends, no doubt. But how far is he willing to go to keep them from harms way? How is he going to keep his impulsiveness in check?
Gintoki knows how to keep his image in check from his peers. His carefree and silly persona as an odd-jobs worker is a façade he maintains to blend into society. Though behind closed doors, his urges and tendencies truly manifest. A well guarded secret. Not a soul knows about his dual personality. Though Shinpachi and Kagura may have a vague sense that something is wrong , they won't know the level of his possessiveness until it's too late.
Due to his past, it haunts him to think with his closest friends might drift away at any given point due to an expected event or because of what he's done. Jealousy is something that he can't control. Seeing his friends interact with others than him makes his blood boil. If he's feeling very petty, he'd purposefully make an excuse where they need to be somewhere, ASAP!
Sometimes, when he's out of his mind, he'd isolate his two favorite people for as long as he wants. Mainly believing that they could find happiness from him. Whether it's intentional or unintentional.
Though, when he's called out on his behavior, he'd justify it. Saying that it's only an act of "protectiveness" or even "love." His delusional justifications may lead him to think that what he's actually doing is reasonable.
Gintoki may do acts of self-sacrifice. To ensure safety and happiness, going out of his say to self sabotage or just straight up his own life.
He'll get unhinged. If anything, he'd probably do things and disregard the consequences of his own actions. Though, he'll even forget about Shimpachi and Kagura and wonder off into his mental instability for a period of time before someone beats it out of him.

INCOMING RANT
Yoshida Shoyo is a virgin and I stand by that😤
(with proof and analysis)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I definitely could have added more info on why I think that this is so cuz I have many more things that would stand as proof so ill add on a bit more. Read below 👇🏽
this is the same text but in video format but the scenes at the back in some places can be considered as back up for my post😭
MORE ANALYSIS BELOW 👇🏽
1. Total ostracism
He was ousted since he was a kid and it lasted for centuries. He was literally TORTURED for simply existing my man did nothing to warrant this hell but oh well that's humans of the past for you. It should be known that his whole 1000+ years of life, not one soul had bothered to help or stand up for him, because nobody knows what it's like to be in his state and never bothered to sympathise with him.
2. Disgusted by humans
He has literally called humans disgusting many times, and yet it's not even the most insulting thing he has called humans. He's a certified hater to the point that he could be considered a racist(discriminates the human race and kinda every other life form in the universe)
Mostly someone would say oh but he's been alive for over a 1000 years something definitely happened. Yes something did, hate and pain and agony is what happened😭😭😭 first few centuries, were different methods of killing and torturing him, then for about 500 years I think, he was rotting away in a cell in a cave.
And then the next 500 years he was killing mfs left and right. I can safely assume that after his break from jail, when he immediately started killing the first group of humans that he met, he literally means he wanted to get rid of anyone he laid eyes on💀 Man didn't just despise, he was REVOLTED.
An important qns that could come up is what if when he was yoshida shoyo (for around 20 years). It's a very short amount of time compared to his lifespan isn't it☠️ Also not to forget the fact as I mentioned before, he was still heavily discriminated and feared. Also He was chased out of every town or village he travelled to, hence the title that he's a wanderer(along with gintoki).
(This could possibly have been the fact that the people recognised him as either the immortal demon or as the leader of Naraku) However it could also contribute to the fact that his revolutionary teachings were bothering the townsfolk's norms, thus the community unrest resulting in chasing him out.
Idc what anyone says a man who was so intensely and ruthlessly tortured would have a dead libido, man has literally experienced death like a daily occurrence. It was frequent ritual to come back from the dead, he has literally seen death and had tea with it, and is used to it he would NOT gaf about his dick which probably stays dead too with how many times he's been killed.
I could say the same for physical attraction because, firstly, his deep hate,more emphasis on DISGUST and DISCRIMINATION he holds for humans as well as for living beings on every other planet in the universe as Utsuro is well known. But as for yoshida shoyo, the compassionate man, I would consider him a man above worldly pleasures, as his immortality, past lives and wisdom(along with how tired he is of everyone) can attest to that.
3. Man beyond societal pressures and standards
Considering that he's a certified menace to society from birth till death, along with the menaces he trained. Safe to say he would not give any fucks about being socially acceptable even as yoshida shoyo he was still a force to be reckoned with, he was in no way submissive(the scene where he rushes to protect his kids amd threatens a bunch of men that he'll collapse the whole government because HE COULD).
With the way he has lived his life and all the events he has gone through, societal expectations/cues would actually mean nothing to him(along with his lifespan), He had become numb to the minds and behaviours of humans long ago. He has no need to go out of his way to do or say anything that does not please him and has no one to appease to. The only reason he surrendered when the Naraku came for him was to not jeopardize the safety of his students.
He COULD have easily fought them off, but after twenty years or so he probably got tired again of constantly running from the naraku(he did say at one point he was tired of running). And he was also confident in the beginnings of revolution and strong spirits he had sowed into the students he taught.
His teachings were considered as revolutionary and forward thinking, he took a new approach to life that breaks away from the stigmatised version of what was initially taught to young people and his method encouraged individualism and soul searching along with self sufficiency and inner peace, atleast to pack all of his teaching's purpose in a nutshell(definitely encapsulates much more than these ideas).
The new outlook he had begun to teach was seen as rebellious and as a fire that had to be snuffed out before its influence could spread. This further solidifies the idea that he was rather more taken with the notion that each individual pursues their own ambitions and their own rules of life, rather than conforming to the society's expectations upon them at the time he was a teacher. The principle of a man following his own rules set upon his own soul can be found in Gintoki as well, which were the concepts of individuality Shoyo had passed down to his students.
In the current years as far as I know nobody really judges you for your sex life but hookup culture was more "normalised" a few decades ago, cough cough millennials cough cough. E.g. sorachi making constant cherry/virgin jokes. No matter how normalised or societal standard anything maybe, shoyo was FARRRR from normal, bet that he would be the polar opposite of any type of expectation society normally has.
It's clear for us throughout gintama that shoyo viewed being alive and having a body as a burden, immensely. So it's obvious that a body that pains his soul to have would not be worried about pleasure in a physical sense. As aforementioned in the first part(twitter post), he would not even bother to think about it given his life incidents.
And as an individual, for 1. he is very mentally ill and at war within himself,
2. he's seen too many things in life and is traumatised to an unimaginable extent.
3. nobody would ever be able to truly understand or sympathise with him.
4. with the way his character is he seems self sufficient and independent, thus losing the need to find gratification in anyone else physically, emotionally and mentally.
Instead he had a lot of wisdom and knowledge to share and demonstrate to the world instead, hence his choice to become a teacher(starting/working in a temple school).
4. Not human nor programmed to be humane.
Shoyo was born human initially, but due to unforeseen circumstances he ended up becoming a being of altana or was born with altana in his blood. So from a very young age he was programmed to be much different from the average human. He himself, due to all the abuse and visceral disgust aimed towards him, stopped considering himself a human and instead became a monster, not human, and was even deprived from any sort of human normalcy. As Yoshida shoyo, he would have not valued anything the average person would, he is not normal. (in a good and bad way).
Moreover gintama has many references deep-rooted into Buddhism and Shoyo was basically akin to a monk during his teaching era.
None of his personalities via his split personality would ever delve into pleasurable ways, because, exempting his personality of yoshida shoyo, every other personality was an extension of Utsuro, who wanted nothing to do with humans and wished for the extinction of them. So excluding his hundred other extensions of his mind(personalities), his singular personality, can definitely be perceived and considered as a zen master/monk.
Heres a link to a shoyo analysis(at the end of the post), it delves into the life and character arc of yoshida shoyo, along with his connections and references to Buddhism. And importantly how his death signifies nirvana, nirvana means to break the cycle of life, and to do that, some points to achieve this are to go beyond the worldly/materialistic aspects of life, which shoyo has already mastered in my opinion. Atleast as yoshida shoyo, excluding his other personalities.
The only thing stopping him from being freed was his suffering and absolute pain which even resulted in him becoming mentally deranged. His suffering was the only thing stopping him from absolution.
In a way, Utsuro yearned for nirvana too(shoyo is no different from utsuro in the ways of his soul no matter the amount of personalities, hes still just one soul, one man), but went about it in a more "all encompassing" method💀 because his nihilism was at its peak within him, with his history of genocide as a fuel to his ambitions. He wanted to truly end not just his existence and consciousness but everything that exists as a whole. As he believed as Utsuro it would be a more fitting way to end ALL cycles once and for all (perpetuated agenda by his hatred).
In the end, obviously as he has repeatedly stated, he yearned for death, the end of the cycle. And a man who yearns for death, would not consider anything else in his life other than leaving the very body that is nothing more than a burden to him. And vehemently strived to dissolve his soul to put a full stop to the endless agony that he knows and calls life.

End of my post I hope that everyone realises I'm always right when it comes to my love, shoyo😝.

A/N: Before proceeding, please take note that this is a requested matchup and the reader will have certain characteristics that may not necessarily match with your own. Such as: Gender, personality traits, sexuality, interests/hobbies etc.
Ft: Katsura Kotarō (Gintama).
Tumblr media
Katsura Kotarō
➸ Katsura was running down the streets of Edo after yet another attack at some random facility—what else were you expecting from this guy?
➸ The man was severely injured and had at some point, without noticing, split up with Elizabeth. It was late in the evening and the streets were surprisingly empty. You had just ended your shift as an intern at the local hospital and were finally on your way home after a tiring day.
➸ You were just about to open the door to your apartment as you suddenly heard some noises coming from a nearby alley. Logically speaking, you were aware that going there was utterly stupid, not to mention very dangerous. However, the empathetic side of you, could not ignore the sounds that were coming from there.
➸ Normally, no one would willingly hang out near the dumpsters—especially at this hour—unless they were dumpster divers, of course. It could either be someone homeless—or simply had nowhere to go and was just temporarily homeless—or a person that might’ve gotten seriously injured. Then again, it could’ve also had been some animal.
➸ Rather than standing and pondering about the endless possibilities, you decided to have a quick look to satisfy your growing curiosity. And that’s when you met him: The infamous Katsura Kotarō.
➸ I’d like to believe that the two of you would most likely start off as friends. Both of you are laid-back, friendly and could be described as the mediators of your own group of friends.
➸ However, you can also become rather stubborn when the situation calls for it. You only decide to put your foot down if you deem the situation worthy of such actions. Otherwise you tend to be more on the neutral side. It’s because of this mutual understanding that the two of you would work so well together. At least from my perspective.
➸ Katsura himself is somebody who doesn’t easily make friends either, even if he doesn’t look like it. I guess that it might come with the absurdity of his nature, but also because he’s rather distant, no matter how friendly and extroverted he might seem to be.
➸ Katsura can also easily relate to your cynical side. The man, despite his sometimes rash actions, is very smart—on a philosophical level—and let’s not forget about the fact that he is the leader of a terrorist group. This means that he has to be able to read people well in order to know who is trustworthy enough to be recruited.
➸ Laziness is something that he simply views as an added charm. Nobody’s perfect and Katsura does not see this trait as a major flaw. As long as you’re good person at heart, that’s all that matters, and let me remind you that he’s been friends with Gintoki for years by now. If he’s able to deal with that slacker, then he should have no problems with literally anyone else.
➸ And regarding your procrastination tendencies. Something tells me that Katsura is a big procrastinator himself. I can only imagine the amount of times he’s planned to do something, only to put it away for later and in the end, noticing that Elizabeth’s already handled it.
➸ I believe that Katsura will start falling for you once he’ll realize what a sweet person you are. He had already known just how empathetic you were when you found him near the dumpsters that evening. But then he saw the way you were interacting with Elizabeth and practically melted at the sight. You were just so lovely.
➸ He swooned, however, the second he had found out what an amazing cook you were. This is due to his soft spot for housewives, which had confused him slightly at the beginning, since he was obviously aware that you were in fact not a housewife.
➸ He had only figured out what it was when he began picturing you as his wife. Because who wouldn’t love to have a sweet and kind wife that was also an extraordinary cook? That’s when he realized that he was truly whipped.
➸ One thing that the both of you have in common when it applies to interest, is cosplaying. We are all aware of the amount of times the man has been forced to disguise himself to avoid getting recognized.
➸ As strange as it might sound, your absolute favorite is to dress up as various animal characters due to your love for animals. An example could be Sonic the Hedgehog.
➸ Speaking of animals. Another reason that Katsura fell in love with you so shamelessly, was the first time he had witnessed you taking home an injured stray cat and then proceeded to take care of it practically the whole night without sleeping a wink.
➸ Katsura is also very supportive of your drawings, since he himself is a rather artistic soul. Though, his passion does not lie with drawing, but with poetry. And the amount of created poems had increased drastically ever since he had met you.
➸ Oh, and I had also forgot to mention that his confession had most likely been expressed through at least one of these poems. In other words: Katsura Kotarō had finally found his muse.
The black haired samurai limped down the dimly lit streets of Edo, wincing with each step. He had just narrowly escaped yet another attack on a government facility, but this time he wasn't sure if he had made it out unscathed. He turned to his loyal companion, Elizabeth, only to find that she was nowhere in sight.
"Elizabeth? Elizabeth, where are you?" Katsura called out, his voice hoarse.
He stumbled into a nearby alley, barely able to keep his balance. The pain was unbearable, and he knew he needed medical attention immediately. He collapsed on the ground, his eyes closing as he fought to stay conscious
Just then, he heard footsteps approaching. He opened his eyes to see a young woman, presumably a nurse or doctor, standing over him. She looked down at him with concern in her eyes.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
Katsura tried to speak, but his voice came out as a whisper. The woman leaned in closer to hear him.
"I...I need help. Can you...please help me?"
Without hesitation, the woman helped Katsura to his feet and supported him as they made their way to her apartment. Once they arrived, she quickly tended to his injuries and made him comfortable.
"Thank you for helping me," Katsura said, his voice still weak.
"It's no problem," the woman replied with a smile. "It's what I do."
As the night wore on, Katsura and the woman talked and laughed together, their personalities meshing perfectly. They found they had a lot in common, from their laid-back attitudes to their love for cosplay. Katsura was surprised to find that he had never met anyone quite like her.
As the sun began to rise, Katsura knew he had to leave. But before he did, he turned to the woman and said, "I know we just met, but...would you like to go out sometime?"
The woman's eyes widened in surprise, but then she smiled. "I would love to," she said.
And so, Katsura and the woman began their relationship as friends. They spent their time exploring Edo together, attending cosplay events, and bonding over their shared love for animals.
One day, the woman brought home an injured cat she had found on the street. Katsura watched as she tended to the animal with care and tenderness, her love for animals shining through.
"You're amazing," Katsura said, a smile on his face.
The woman blushed. "It's nothing," she said.
But to Katsura, it was everything. He had never met anyone quite like her before. As their relationship continued to grow, Katsura found himself falling for her more and more with each passing day.
And then, one day, he knew it was time. He sat down and wrote a poem, pouring his heart out onto the paper. He recited it to the woman, his voice filled with emotion.
"You're my muse," he said. "You inspire me in ways I never thought possible. I love you."
The woman's eyes filled with tears as she threw her arms around Katsura. "I love you too," she said.
From that day on, Katsura and the woman were inseparable. They continued to explore Edo together, their love for each other growing stronger with each passing day. And Katsura knew that he had found his muse, his partner in life.

Tumblr media
No matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t change what people saw you as. It wasn’t your fault either, you were nothing but a kind, selfless little soul. Or in simple words, a people pleaser.
It was also unlikely of you to take interest in a classmate of yours who was known for being a cold-hearted guy, completely polar opposite of you.
Unlike any other one of your classmates, this guy, Takasugi, was laid back and quiet. He was also eerily mysterious. You had been in the same class with him for three years yet you knew absolutely nothing about him aside from his name. Now, months before graduating high school, you only had limited time to be able to learn everything about him.
Since he was friends with one of your friends, Gintoki, you decided to try to learn more about Takasugi through him. He told you that they knew each other since they were brats and that Takasugi was nothing but a lame stoic emo guy who liked acting like he didn’t care about anything.
However, when you asked Hijikata about Takasugi, he told you that he was a delinquent. Sakamoto thought of him as a pipsqueak and Katsura said he was the type who wiped his ass standing.
Well, everyone had their opinions about him and none of them were similar to one another.
You gave up trying to get to know him through others’ views of him and decided to approach him yourself to find out what kind of a person he was.
Although he had been your classmate for many years, you had only recently taken an interest in him after he carried you to the infirmary when you twisted your ankle during the sports festival a couple of months ago. He was obliged to take you there because he was one of the only two health committee members in your class, he was attained unwillingly by the teacher since he didn’t go to any after-school clubs.
He hadn’t even spoken to you or did anything particularly special but the way he held you in his arms made you feel like you belonged between them. Days after the incident, you found yourself always watching him.
To be able to get close to Takasugi, you started hanging out more with Gintoki. He enjoyed your company along with Sakamoto and Katsura. It was fun to be around those three and sometimes even Hijikata joined the group with his own friends.
Takasugi rarely came by, he was never to be seen unless there was a class. You had no idea where he went during breaks but you were grateful to be able to see him during the classes. Good thing he was at least attending school, despite being a delinquent.
Gintoki was the only one who noticed your dreamy sighs or flushed cheeks whenever Takasugi stopped by for a moment before leaving to go for a smoke at lunchtime but he didn’t say anything.
It wasn’t his problem.
~~~
A miracle happened.
“Didn’t you hear the bell?!” Matsudaira growled, “Get back to your classes!”
Ugh, it was the worst when Matsudaira was on hall duty. You walked past him hoping that he wouldn’t yell at you for having your skirt too short again.
You were walking in the hallway without paying much attention to where you were going and accidentally bumped into someone. As you were about to look up and apologize, the cigarette pack the person you bumped into had in their pocket fell down.
Immediately there were whispers from everyone else around you in the hallway. Matsudaira’s head whipped around and his eyes landed directly on the cigarette pack.
Your stare lifted to the person in front of you, instantly making your heart throb. It was Takasugi.
None of you moved and you knew the cigarette pack belonged to Takasugi. He was going to get in trouble if Matsudaira found out he was smoking on the roof. Worst of it all, if he got detention he would blame you for it. He was going to hate you. Even the thought of it made you shiver.
Not wanting to risk it, you leaned forward to pick the pack of cigarettes yourself and put them in your pocket as if you hadn’t seen Matsudaira glaring your way. However you had done it so he would see it, this was going to give him the impression that they were yours.
Takasugi’s eye widened, you couldn’t tell if he was surprised or impressed. You hoped it was both. You were going to make sure he could stop getting in trouble and become less of a delinquent.
“Hey, you there!” Matsudaira shouted and stomped his way towards you, grabbing your arm tightly. “Who would’ve thought an honor student like you would be doing this! You’re in trouble, young lady! You think you can smoke at school?!”
When Takasugi made a move to walk away Matsudaira grabbed him too. “Where do you think you’re going? You’re breaking the dress code! What’s up with that uniform, punk?”
“Sir, I’m sorry wait- Uh, that hurts!” you tried pulling your arm free from his grip but it was futile, he didn’t let go of you or Takasugi until he dragged both of you into his office.
“You’re both in big trouble! I’m going to give you detention after school!”
While he was yelling at you all you did was nod rapidly. Takasugi was inanimate.
“Now, hand over the cigarettes!” Matsudaira held his hand up, waiting.
With violently shaking hands, you fished the cigarettes out from your pocket, staring at the packet for a moment longer before finally giving it to him.
“Tch, isn’t Marlboro a little too strong for a girl like you?” he scoffed and put the cigarettes in his own pocket.
“It was my first time,” you lied, having actually no idea how many cigarette brands there were or what the differences between each one were. “I just bought whatever I could get.”
“And you punk, fix your uniform.” Matsudaira directed his attention to Takasugi who shrugged in response. “You want to pick a fight with a teacher?”
“I’m going to get detention either way if I fix my uniform or not, aren’t I? So, why should I fix it?” Takasugi spoke, calm yet impatiently. “Can I go back to my class now?”
Matsudaira was speechless, he glowered at the guy with an eyepatch in anger but couldn’t find any words to say. “Get out of my sight, both of you.” His tone was cold as ice and full of fury, you didn’t need to hear it twice.
You followed Takasugi out of the office, your pulse had gone haywire from being yelled at by Matsudaira. Ugh, why did you take the cigarettes? Takasugi was indifferent if he got detention or not but you weren’t. This was going to be put down on your report and oh no, what if Matsudaira called your parents? No, this was the worst.
“Thanks for the earlier,” Takasugi said, glancing at you over his shoulder with a grin. “I think you owe me a pack of cigarettes, though.”
All of the previous worries past forgotten, a dumb smile tugged at your lips. “A-ah, yes!”
That dumb smile stayed on your face for the rest of the day and your eyes didn’t leave Takasugi’s back. You watched him with admiration. Excited to see him in detention, maybe you two could finally have alone time together.
However, Takasugi didn’t show up to detention. You sat in the empty classroom alone, reading a book to pass time since there weren’t any teachers supervising.
~~~
Standing in front of the vending machine, you were staring at many variations of cigarettes on display. The packs were mostly colored red but there were green or blue packaged ones as well.
There was no way you could decide which one to buy, you needed help.
“Um, excuse me?” you hesitantly called out to the guy smoking outside the convenience store.
He stared at you behind his sunglasses as if your existence was irritating him but soonly that expression changed into something softer when he realized that you were a pretty girl in need of help. “Yeah?” His cheeks were already blushing.
“C-could you p-please help buy me c-cigarettes?” you fidgeted with your fingers. “I-I don’t know how to buy them.”
“Of course!”
A smile spread across your face and he followed you towards the vending machine in front of the store.
“So, which brand do you usually smoke?” he asked, pointing at the displays. “Hi-lite? Lark?”
“Um, I think M-Marabou.”
You sounded too unsure but nevertheless, if he noticed it, he was smiling at you in a friendly way. Hesitantly, you handed him a bill. “Marlboro, huh?” After taking one good look at you he pressed a button and inserted the bill inside.
The silent thud of the cigarette being dropped was heard once the small gears stopped turning.
Thanking the man, you reached inside the small compartment to collect the green cigarette pack.
~~~
Your heart was beating incredibly fast. The frame of the cigarette packaging inside your cardigan was too heavy on your dignity as one of the honor students. If you got caught carrying this again, they would give you detention longer than the one yesterday. Thinking about it hurt your pride even more.
That was why you had to give it to him as soon as possible.
You knew he always hung out on the roof to smoke during the breaks and nobody dared to go up there since he had claimed it as his own territory.
Climbing up the stairs leading up to the roof with shaking legs, you arrived at the top, hesitantly opening the door. It creaked, alerting anyone who was on the other side that they had a visitor.
You stepped onto the roof and closed the door behind you.
Nobody was in sight.
“Hello?”
Nobody answered back.
You were getting ready to turn around your heels to head back downstairs when the door opened. As you were frozen in place, Takasugi walked inside.
He stared at you with a blank expression after he noticed your presence and walked past you to head towards a corner.
Dumbfounded, you found the courage to speak only when he sat down. “Um, T-Takasugi!”
He didn’t answer but he was staring at you as if he was waiting for you to say what you wanted to say and leave him alone.
Taking a couple of steps forward to close the distance between the two of you, a million different thoughts went over your mind and your every single thought was clouded by him. He needed to know that, there were barely five months until graduation, to you, it was vital that he knew about your feelings towards him.
He didn’t need to like you back, you wanted him to know. You wanted to be a faint memory he would think about when he was older. Some honor student who confessed to him on the roof. A cute and faint memory.
What a lie.
You desperately hoped he would let you in his life and open up to you like he had never done to anyone before. You wanted to be the only person he would love and die for.
“U-uh, I like you. Uhm, no. Actually, I love you!” you stuttered, cheeks flushing and fidgeting with your fingers. “I-I wanted you to know, please don’t feel obliged to say anything.”
He didn’t say anything.
A sinister smile tugged at his lips instead.
“Did you bring me my cigarettes?” he asked, ignoring your love confession. He knew you had them, just like how he knew you were madly in love with him from the beginning.
There was a quick pause of you trying to steady yourself before you quickly patted on your uniform, trying to find the pack you had bought. Once you located it, you pulled the pack of cigarettes out of your pocket and handed it to him.
With a smile, he took it from you and his eye landed on your face. You were biting your lip, helplessly trying not to frown. So cute, adorable even. You looked like you were about to cry.
If only he wasn’t already planning to ruin you.
His smile widened when his eye landed on the cigarette you had bought, a scoff left his lips. “You bought me menthol cigarettes?”
You stared at him in confusion, “W-what? Mentos cigarettes? I was sure I bought the right brand, I’m so sorry.”
Ah, you were more innocent than he had thought. An honor student like yourself didn’t know anything about the cruel life outside the gates of the school. You knew all of the math formulas though, how far were those going to get you in life?
“Nevermind,” he let out a breathy laugh, his eye returning on your face. “Wanna join me?”
Your cheeks flushed at that. Nodding rapidly, you stuttered a ‘yes’.
Takasugi gestured towards the empty space next to him as he was tearing the packaging of the cigarette.
Without hesitation yet in a meek manner, you sat down beside him.
“Have you ever smoked before?” He put a cigarette between his lips before fishing out a lighter from his front pocket to light the tip.
“I didn’t.” Oh, he was so close. You had never been this close to him ever since he carried you to the infirmary. This time, he was talking to you as well. Talking to you and nobody else.
He inhaled from his cigarette, the foul smell and the faint minty flavor of menthol ruined the strong taste of tobacco he liked. Although he hated menthol cigarettes for this exact reason, he didn’t have his usual cigarettes with him. There was no choice but to smoke the menthol ones you had bought for him.
He turned to face you since you were sitting on his bad side. He slowly lifted the cigarette up to your face, “Wanna try one?”
Your eyes widened for the wrong reasons. “Yes!” you answered without thinking, accepting it only because it meant getting an indirect kiss from the boy you liked.
Takasugi held the cigarette between his knuckles towards your lips and you leaned forward. Your lips touched his warm fingers as you took the cigarette in your mouth, cheeks flushing. Taking a deep inhale and holding it in your mouth until it reached your throat, instantly made you start coughing.
“You can’t inhale it like that,” he chuckled, continuing to hold the cigarette up towards you. “Try again.”
Quite hesitant this time, you parted your lips and took the sponge end in your mouth, looking at Takasugi through your lashes.
“Inhale softly, as if you’re breathing air. Don’t let it sit in your mouth, it should go into your lungs and come out when you exhale.” His eye was squinting with amusement.
You took a whiff of the cigarette, slowly as he said, inhaled it, and let it out without coughing.
“Good girl,” he praised, moving his hand away from you to take a drag from the cigarette himself.
Scooting a little closer to him with blushed cheeks, you told him something you were dying to say since yesterday. “You weren’t at the detention the day before.”
“Why would I be? They never check that classroom and there aren’t any teachers supervising. They call it detention in a way to scare dumb students into behaving, everyone knows that.” He turned his head to look at you with his good eye. “Were you in the detention classroom?”
“...No, I-I wasn’t,” you lied poorly.
“Then how did you know I wasn’t there?” He was smirking as he exhaled.
“I-... I was-” Defeated you sighed, “I had never gotten detention before.”
“That’s impressive.” There was a pause as he stared at you from the corner of his eye. “You must be a complete goody in two shoes.”
“I just never caused trouble before,” you replied, tucking your hair behind your ear shyly. You wanted to keep him out of trouble, helping him to get better.
“Hmm, I can tell.”
It was silent after that.
You listened to him smoking in silence until the bell rang. It was time to go…
“You’re leaving?” Takasugi asked when you made a move to get up.
Taken aback, you raised your eyebrows. “The bell rang, the break is over.”
“And?” He took another cigarette from the pack to light it.
You sat back down. There was no way you were going to miss the chance of being alone with Takasugi for a while longer, even if it meant that you would be skipping class.
Some time passed and you were unable to sit in silence. You felt obliged to start a conversation. “Have you written your report?”
“What report?” Throw the bait.
“Um, the one that will define your final grade.” You turned your torso towards him to face him completely. “Our homeroom teacher was talking about the report just yesterday, that one.”
“Ahh.” He looked lost in thought as he took a long inhale from his cigarette, “I didn’t start it.” Wait.
“It’s due next month,” you pointed out, a worried expression plastered on your face.
“Hmm.” He didn’t care, he wasn’t going to graduate if he didn’t hand in that last report he was so careless, smoking and slacking off. Wait. Patiently
You wanted him to get a high school diploma, Takasugi was probably under a lot of stress and the least you could do was to offer help. You wanted him to be a better person.
“I-I can help you write yours,” you said abruptly, determined to make sure he was going to graduate. “We can start whenever you want. I’ll write it for you.” It bit the bait.
He scoffed, his single eye met your gaze through the long curtains of his hair. “Would you come to my house today?” Reel it in.
Blushing, you bobbed your head in joy. “O-of course!” Success.
~~~
You were trembling when you entered Takasugi’s room.
“I’m going to the bathroom,” he said before dropping his bag beside his desk and leaving you alone.
You put your own bag down hesitantly, this room was nothing like you had expected it to be. There wasn’t a single personal item in his room, no personality. There were a couple of pieces of furniture but no decoration or anything. Except for that one framed picture on his desk.
Picking up the frame, you couldn’t help but smile. It was a picture of him with Gintoki, Katsura, and Sakamoto. Takasugi’s smile in the picture was something you had never seen before. He looked genuinely happy.
You nearly dropped the frame when Takasugi entered his room. He noticed the picture you were holding and gave you a simple glare, warning you to not mess up with his things without uttering a single word.
“I’m sorry.”
Ignoring your quick apology, he pulled out his chair for you and started his laptop while standing. “You can write the report, I’m going to sleep.”
“You can’t!” Your voice came out louder than you intended to. He stared down at you as his laptop’s screen lit up. “Y-you should help me write it. W-what if the teacher asks you about the report? W-we should write it together.”
He relented with a sigh and sat down on the chair he had pulled out for you.
“Where should I sit?” you asked, looking around for a second chair. “Should I get one from the living room?” You had seen them when you walked past the room.
Takasugi swiveled around on his chair and patted on his lap twice.
“I-I can get a chair from the living r-room!” you said in a panic. “I-it’s-”
“The desk’s too small,” he replied and you realized that it was indeed too small for a second chair. Aside from all that, he was offering you to sit on his lap. There was no way you would refuse. Absolutely no way you would pass on the opportunity to be close to him.
Hesitantly, you sat on his legs, he placed a hand on your lap and swiveled back towards the desk. He reached his arm from your side to type on the laptop and unlocked it.
“Go on.”
You opened a text document as you tried breathing evenly. “D-do you k-know what you w-want your report to be about?”
“I’ll let you choose.” His legs were warm and soft under you, very comfortable. You felt like you belonged in his lap like this. Exactly like how you belonged in his arms. Perfect match.
“O-okay.” You gulped audibly before reminding him something. “Be sure to watch what I’m writing, it’s still your report.”
He started watching you type on his computer over your shoulder.
You flinched and stopped typing each time his hand on your lap moved or he let out a hot breath on your shoulder. You wanted to press your thighs together because you were aroused out of your mind but your feet weren’t touching the ground so you couldn’t cross your legs to have that friction you were so desperate for.
“You made a typo,” Takasugi said, he reached his arm to point at the screen and he moved his leg slightly. It resulted in you having his thigh between your legs.
A blush spread on your face and neck as you nodded while using the mouse to tap on the type he was pointing at.
Behind you, Takasugi was smirking. He retrieved his hand that was pointing at the laptop screen and brushed all of your hair to one side.
You trembled at the contact, he felt your bottom pulsate rapidly on his thigh.
His smirk widened, becoming more sinister as he let his hand hover over your nape. Slowly, one by one, he presses his fingers on the side of your neck.
A gasp left your lips and your legs shook. So sensitive.
“You’re more obedient than I thought.” Your pulse quickened, eyes clouding with lust and excitement of what was to come. “Would you really do anything someone tells you to do?”
It was a genuine question he wanted to hear the answer to.
You couldn’t give him an answer though. Your lips wouldn’t move, your entire body went stiff because of his touch.
He didn’t need an audible answer anyway. Pulling your back on his chest, his hand that was previously on your lap went between your legs and under your skirt. “Spread your legs.”
Immediately doing as he asked, you placed your hands on his arm he had around your torso. You wondered if he could feel the butterflies you were getting in your stomach.
The answer was no. However, he could feel the way your pussy throbbed under your panties when he pressed his fingers against your slit.
You mewled at his touch, hips moving a little towards his hand to feel him more.
Oh, how naughty for an honor student.
“Weren’t you supposed to write my report?” he asked, you could hear the sneer in his voice. “Rather than humping my hand.”
Shaking your head, you denied the fact as if it was an accusation.
“What next? Are you going to say it’s my fault?” His chest rumbled beneath you as he spoke.
“I wouldn’t,” you uttered, lips parting when he pressed his fingers on your slit and the wetness soaked your panties.
“Did you get this wet from sitting on my legs?” His fingers went between your folds, the juices that were soaking the fabric of your panties made sloppy sounds whenever he lifted a finger and pressed it back on your slit again.
“N-no, that’s sweat…”
“Is it now?” His lips were brushing against the shell of your ear, hooking a finger to the elastic on the edge of your panties to pull them to the side. “You’re a terrible liar,” he whispered and pushed two digits inside your slick heat.
You moaned, legs pressing together and trapping his hand between your thighs while he twirled his digits around inside you.
“Spread your legs,” he demanded and once you did, he pulled his fingers out of you, holding them up to your face where you could see them. You watched thick clear fluids trickle down from the tip of his fingers. “Is this also sweat?”
Another blush colored your cheeks in response.
“Cute,” he murmured, shoving his fingers inside your parted lips. You unwillingly tasted yourself, the sweet yet salty nectar of your insides that was aching to be filled with his own. “Clean them off.”
With his words, you ran your tongue along the length of his digits, twirling around them to lick off your juices.
Takasugi patiently waited until you were done to retrieve his hand and lift you up from his lap. His hands grabbed your wrists as he placed them on the table. “Arch your back.”
No need to be told twice, you did as he told you.
The air in his room got thicker, heavier to inhale. It smelled like the cigarettes that had stuck onto his clothes.
His hands slid up from your wrists towards your shoulders, caressing the skin on your arms along the way. Slowly he led them down your back until he reached your hips. From there, he pulled you back against his growing bulge.
A gasp left your lips as he moved your hips using his hands, rubbing you against his clothed erection.
“This is what you want, isn’t it?” He grinded his hips onto your ass, making you feel everything.
“Yes, please,” you moaned, begging for him to fuck you.
Suddenly, his hands and weight pressing against you disappeared. You heard a thud after a short pause and when you looked behind, you found him sitting on his bed. He pulled out the pack of cigarettes you bought him and placed one between his lips.
“Takasugi?”
“Hmm?” He lit his cigarette and inhaled deeply.
“A-aren’t you…” you didn’t finish your sentence.
“What?” He was smirking again, the mocking tone of his voice was back. “You thought I’d fuck you?”
Silence filled his room.
Fixing your clothes in shame and embarrassment, although his eye was watching you intently, you avoided looking at him.
“Come here,” he said, oh so softly.
You walked up to him and lifted your gaze to meet his almost instantly. Obedient like a dog.
Is that what you are? A puppy?
“On your knees.”
You got on your knees.
This was far too amusing.
Takasugi palmed himself through his pants, his half-lidded eye looking down at you with wicked delight. “You like me right? No… You love me right?”
A nod.
“So, you want me to give you attention?”
“Yes!”
He leaned down and exhaled the smoke into your face. “You have to keep me entertained if you want me to look your way.”
“I-I will do anything!” It was the truth. You would write his report, buy him cigarettes, and even keep him out of trouble. You were going to fix him, shape him into a better person.
“Really?” He leaned further down, barely a centimeter away from your face.
“Shinsuke,” you breathed, lifting your head and puckering your lips.
“Don’t call me by my first name.” He stopped you by pressing the inside of his palm on your forehead.
“T-Takasugi,” you whispered, looking at him through your lashes.
“Stop begging, I won’t kiss you.” He pulled his hand back to take a drag from his cigarette.
Crack.
“I will do anything for you.” You crawled closer towards the bed, kneeling right in front of him. “I-I love you, I love you so much it hurts.”
“Sure.” Takasugi flicked the ash of his cigarette on an ashtray he had on the nightstand. His eye was on you, between his legs with glossy eyes that were ready to cry at any given moment, and on your knees, it was a sight to enjoy.
“I’ll prove it to you.” Desperate, you put your hand on his knee.
He silently continued smoking as your hands moved towards the front of his pants. You unbuckled his belt and pulled the zipper down with flushed cheeks. He was definitely watching you, his piercing stare was on you, drilling holes into you.
You didn’t even know what you were doing when you managed to pull his pants down along with his underwear to release his hard cock. It was bigger than you thought, longer too.
With one hand on his thigh, you wrapped your other hand around the base of his cock after licking your palm to make it nice and slick.
Hesitantly, you looked up to him, he was watching you keenly with one eye.
Not wanting to disappoint him, you lolled your tongue out and traced it along a vein towards the tip. You sucked the pink tip and moved your hand on his cock until he placed a hand behind your head, pulling you towards himself.
He took a sharp inhale from his cigarette when you finally took him in your mouth. Having your luscious lips wrapped around his cock was better than the nicotine rush he would get after not smoking for a while.
Exhaling softly, he carded his fingers through your hair.
You bobbed your head, pressing your tongue flat against his cock as you moved up towards the tip and hollowing your cheeks when you sucked him in your mouth.
“Is that how deep you can take?” Grey smoke left his lips while he spoke.
Tears dwelled in your eyes but you tried sucking him deeper in your mouth until the tip of his cock grazed the back of your throat. Your gag reflex stopped you from moving any further.
He knew how hard you were trying to impress him. The least he could do was to spare you from the disappointment. “That’s it, good girl,” he said, guiding your hand on his knee to wrap around the base of his cock and moving them along the length. “This will do.”
No, this wasn’t enough.
You forced yourself to suck his entire length down your throat until the thin hairs on the base tickled your nose.
Takasugi hissed through his teeth before he gave a breathy chuckle at your determination. You were desperately trying to pleasure him and convince him how you would do anything for him.
A puppy.
Lovely and obedient.
He put his still-lit cigarette on the ashtray and returned all of his attention to you. His hand grabbed a chunk of your hair, tentatively pulling you away from his cock before lifting his hips and thrusting into your mouth out of a sudden.
Your drool gushed out from your mouth and trickled down to your chin as he started skull-fucking you. Sloppy sounds of him fucking your mouth echoed in his room, making you even wetter.
Takasugi’s cock started twitching inside your mouth, knowing his release was close, he pulled out of you and held his cock over your face as he jerked himself off. His hand was moving up and down frantically, making a continuous click sound.
“Open your mouth.” He sounded utterly calm and composed despite being seconds away from orgasm.
You lolled out your tongue, opening your mouth for him.
“When I cum, you’re going to swallow.”
His cock throbbed in his hand as he pressed the tip against your bottom lip. Thick spurts of cum landed on your face and in your mouth seconds later.
You scooped the cum that had landed on your face into your mouth before swallowing it all.
Takasugi stared down at you with admiration, a gentle yet still ominous look was in his eye while he blinked slowly.
“Do you believe me now?” you asked.
He reached for his cigarette and took one last drag from it. “Open your mouth.”
Confused but curious, you opened your mouth.
He was leaning closer down, oh, finally he was going to kiss you. You closed your eyes in delight.
“This is for touching me without me telling you to.” Capturing your tongue between his knuckles, he pressed the still lit tip on your tongue. The sizzling sound and the sharp pain made you jolt open your eyes and pull yourself back from him.
Clapping a hand over your mouth, you whimpered in pain. It was still bubbling, your tongue was getting more swollen with each passing second.
“Good thing you didn’t try to use some other hole to touch me. That could’ve hurt a lot worse.” He stood up from his bed, tucking himself back in his pants. “Now, we can go back to writing the report.”
You watched him walk over to his desk and sit on his chair. He swiveled around, eye on you as he patted on his thigh.
There was a pause that felt like it stretched on for hours.
It was quiet in his room until you finally started typing on his laptop again as you sat back on his lap.
The pain was unbearable but you forgot it all as soon as Takasugi wrapped an arm around your torso to bring you closer to him.
“I believe you now,” he answered your question from earlier, the sick smile in his voice barely noticeable while he tightened his arm around you.
You stopped typing and twisted your body to look at him.
“What?” He furrowed his brows.
Pressing your lips together, your eyes landed on his lips.
Oh…
“No.” He let out a soft chuckle and used a single hand to turn you back around by your shoulder. You were about to whine when he leaned forward to whisper. “Not until you finish the report.”
You hummed in delight, legs dangling and moving happily as you started typing a lot faster on the laptop.
Takasugi hadn’t thought you would be this easy to handle or how easily he could make you do something with the promise of him giving you something in return. It was fascinating to him that although he stubbed out a cigarette on your tongue moments ago, you were now on his lap, writing his report with no complaints whatsoever. The only thing in your mind probably was that your first kiss with him wouldn’t taste like smoke or if he was going to touch you again.
He wanted to see how far he could go until you actually started hating him but deep down he knew, a gullible and innocent girl like you would be content until the end if he made you believe that you were fixing him into a better person.

Happy Birthday Gin-san!
One-Shot about Gintoki's 30th birthday. Tsukuyo has a special present for the clueless Gintoki.  The setting of the fic is an already lightly romantic established GinTsu relationship. They already had some kind of romantic encounters, but it was never quite enough for anyone to make a first move. Basically all of them could be seen as „Well, that was awkward, but we are friends so it’s funny.“
Genre: Fluff, First Kiss Stuff
Rating: General Audience
Word Count: 1,960
"Gin-chan, wake up! wake up!"
Kagura's scream echoed through the Yorozuya banged on his door before tearing it open with an ugly sound.
"You're an old man now, no more sleeping in late" She continued to scream with full volume.
"Shut up!" Gintoki screamed back and opened his eyes. He sure felt like an old man already. His life was okay now, after the ending of the canon material. But something was missing, but he also didn't care enough to find out what exactly was missing.
Kagura brought in a birthday cake with 3 sloppily placed candles, topped with one single strawberry. Gintoki frowned looking at the candles.
"I'm 30, not 3." He blurted.
"Yes yes, right. You're so old, I need to use one candle for 10 years, that's how old you are!" She explained to him. Gintoki snorted.
"Why are you so happy so early in the morning?!"
"Here, eat up or mommys gonna be pissed!"
She ignored his bad mood and lifted the fork, forcing the cake in his mouth.
"Ah Kagura stop that, I can eat myself." He picked the fork out of her hand and grumpily ate the cake, sharing it with her. To be exact, Kagura shared with him. She ate most of the cake.
"We're gonna have a party today, yes we will!" She announced.
He groaned in disapproval, a party was the last thing he wanted.
"Zura and Elisabeth are coming, that weird space guy, Shinpachi of course, Gorilla boss lady, -"
"How many people did you invite?!" He interrupted her.
"Mayofreak, Gorilla, that sadistic assface" She ended her list.
"Did you invite the whole Shinsengumi?!"
"Yes of course! It's a special occasion after all!"
"Who's gonna pay for that?!"
"You don't need to pay, don't worry. It's your birthday!"
She happily jumped to her feet, snatching the plate from his hands, on her way to leave his room.
"Thank you, Kagura" Gintoki mumbled. She turned around and smiled.
He laid down again and sighed.
Just forget my birthday already, no one cares about that.
"No more sleeping! Get up now!" Kagura screamed from outside.
Angrily mumbling Gintoki crawled out of his futon and prepared himself for the shitty day.
---------------  x ---------------
The Yorozuya office was packed.
Every possible sitting space was occupied, the room filled with familiar faces. The mood was exuberant, but Gintoki still didn't warm up to the idea of the party.
All guests had arrived by now and the alcohol rose to everyone's head, while Gintoki tried to keep the excitement down. They tried to toast on his birthday several times, but he always denied it, frantically searching for excuses.
Once, he spurted over to the kitchen, pretending that he left the stove on.
Another time, he feigned to be asleep on the couch.
There was no reason for a celebration. There never was.
Katsura had just spilled his third beer all over the floor and Gintoki was kneeling down, searching for some napkins in a drawer, when suddenly the shoji door opened and another trio entered the room. "Hey Tsukki, Hinowa, Seita!" Kagura shouted happily.
Gintoki's heart stumbled. He abruptly lifted his head, banging his head against the drawer. Rubbing his back of the head, he stood up straight and faced the new guests.
Kagura didn't tell me they were coming as well..
"Tsukki…,what are you doing here?" He asked nervously
"Gin-san, Happy Birthday!"
Hinowa said with a singing voice, reaching for his hand to press it lightly, shaking it excitedly.
"Here, we have a present for you!" Seita hugged him turbulently with a small package in his hands, giving it to him with a big smile.
"It's ya birthday, are we not invited?" Tsukuyo mumbled, arms crossed in front of her chest, averting her eyes, Kiseru in her mouth.
Hinowa slightly pushed in Tsukuyos ribs.
"Don't you-?"
She whispered and Tsukuyo blushed slightly before she eyed Gintoki.
Confused, he tilted his head, Seita still jumping around in front of him.
Tsukuyo sighed, closed the few steps between them, walked around Seita and spread out her arms, wrapping them around Gintoki.
He was baffled.
Hugs? Since when does she give out hugs?
"Happy Birthday" She mumbled incomprehensibly.
Tsukuyo hugged him tight, a little too tight. He could feel her arms cramping around him and her heart racing against his. Well, that's awkward. Gintoki felt his heart speed up as well.
"Oi oi, not so unruly, you're almost assaulting me" He laughed nervously.
She tensed up, let out an angry sound and smashed him to the ground, pressing the air out of his lungs.
"That's a nice present, did not expect anything else from you.." He mumbled, lying exhausted on his back.
Tsukuyo was standing over him, her face beet red.
"Tsukki, are you okay? Are you sick?" Kagura shouted from her seat on the couch.
"'s fine" She blurted.
"Oi, why does no one care about me? It's my birthday and I just got crashed into the damn floor" Gintoki grumbled.
"You're fine." Kagura simply replied.
"Nothing new" Shinpachi shouted from the other side. Hinowa smiled happily.
"Oi, why are you happy? Why are you happy?!"
---------------  x ---------------
The evening had gone by mostly uneventfully. Katsura had tried to battle everyone in a game of uno, but he failed miserably, losing every single time. The now close to tears samurai was comforted by Elisabeth in one corner of the room.
"This never happens to me, I'm so good at this game!" He cried in his sleeve.
Elisabeth held up a sign: You're the best player!
Tatsumas laughter repeatedly echoed through the room. It was the most annoying sound of the evening. Gintoki had the strong urge to kick his head in.
"Kintoki, drink something with me!" He called out to him, completely wasted.
"It's Gintoki, can't ya at least get it correctly on my birthday?!" Gintoki hadn't touched a single drop. He still didn't feel like celebrating.
The Shinsengumi members happily drank in their own little round and were joined by Hinowa, Kagura and Shinpachi. Seita played on his new TS. unbothered by the commotion around him. Otae and Kyuubei sat on his table, sharing some food, leaving Gintoki and Tsukuyo alone.
"So.. how are ya" Gintoki started after some minutes of silence between them.
"Whaddaya mean?" She replied uninterested, smoking her kiseru.
"I asked about your well-being , what do you not understand?"
"Why are ya asking, you never ask that" She simply replied.
"Fine, I won't do it again." Offended, Gintoki crossed his arms in front of his chest.
He glanced over to her, their eyes met and both of them turned away, slightly blushing.
Hinowa turned her attention to Tsukuyo, noticing the thick tension between them.
"Tell him how you are, it's not that hard." She chuckled, slightly drunk and continued talking to Kondo with great interest. Hinowa had recently started to bond with him, much to her disapproval. She didn't want the police involved in Yoshiwaras business.
Tsukuyo huffed.
"'s fine, I guess." She finally replied to his question.
"Ah.. I see."
"and how is it?"
"How is what?"
"Being old." She grimaced maliciously.
Gintoki scoffed. "It's not that different from yesterday, it's just one day later."
"okay.."
"I don't know.. lonely" He continued.
"You don't have to be lonely," Tsukuyo said, still looking in another direction.
"..what do you mean?" Gintoki turned in her direction.
"I urr I.. I mean..you have Kagura and Shinpachi.. you're not alone"
Gintoki paused.
"Yea right, I'm not alone, but still lonely"
"That's not true, Gintoki."
"Sooner or later Kagura will move out, Shinpachi will find a girlfriend, and they will be living their own lives. I'll be a single left alone dad by then. Maybe I should buy myself a woman in Yoshiwara.." His thoughts trailed off.
"Ya couldn't afford that anyways. Besides.. I'm sure there's someone for you" Tsukuyo's voice got lower with the progression of her sentence.
"Really? Who is it, is she hot? Does she have big boobs? Please tell me she's not from the Hyakka"
"..kind of"
"Tell me, who is it?" He was invested now.
"Well..-"
"Tsukki, don't you still have another present?" Tsukuyo jumped at Hinowas interruption.
"No I don't. It's already late, let's go home." Tsukuyo answered quickly and she stood up hastily, leaving the disappointed Gintoki behind.
"Okay, if you say so."
Seita helped Hinowa and they said their goodbyes, walking to the front door. Gintoki stood up as well and accompanied them to the exit like a good host.
"You can tell me Tsukki, I won't tell anyone!"
But she just ignored him. He gave up.
"Thanks for coming, hope you enjoyed it." He said politely.
"Oh Gin-san of course we did! It's always pleasant to be around both of you !" Hinowas smiled.
Gintoki was confused "Why do you say 'both of you' so weird?"
Hinowa didn't reply and Tsukuyo pushed her to the door. Halfway, she stopped and turned around, facing the in the door leaning Gintoki.
"Gintoki..I .. I actually have another present for you" She started quietly.
Hinowas gasped slightly.
"She's gonna do it!" She whispered to Seita.
"Eh? I don't need presents, I thought I already said that." Gintoki waved his hand dismissively.
"It's just.. something small."
"uh.. okay?"
"you jus..just need to come a bit closer."
"You're scaring me."
"Or I can just come to you.."
Tsukuyo carefully walked back, stopping right in front of him at a very short distance. Sweat formed on his forehead.
"Close your eyes." She whispered.
He did.
Gintoki felt her small hands on his, turning his palm around, laying her hand in his. But there was nothing in her hand.
There's nothing there, What could it be? -
That's when she kissed him. No warning, no preparations. She just kissed him then and there in the doorway, right on the lips, in full view of everyone.
Gintoki forgot to think at all.
Her warm soft lips on his spread a fire in his body, crawling under his skin, burning the hands that were covered by her soft fingers.
One second.
The whole room went silent, Tatsumas laughter died.
If you listened carefully enough, you could've heard a feather falling to the wooden floor.
Two seconds.
Gintoki's head started to spin. His eyes opened slightly and he saw her face through his lashes.
Three seconds.
That was over the limit of an accidental kiss.
It was not a shy kiss,
it was brisk,
setting a complete new point in their relationship.
Her feathery touch on his hand tightened, sending a shiver that traveled down his spine, making his heart beat painfully fast.
Gintoki slightly opened his lips, about to return the kiss, but she retreated, her face tinted in a shade of red he had never seen before.
Tsukuyo smiled lovingly and lifted a finger, brushing it over his open mouth, caressing his lips.
"Happy Birthday"
She whispered and turned around on her heels, hooking the excited chattering Hinowa into her arms and quickly excited through the front door.
Gintoki just stood there, dumbfounded, unable to move.
The kiss wasn't that long, and it certainly wasn't a scene from a shoujo manga with a great backdrop, exciting atmosphere and a big buildup, but it was wonderful.
Nothing else was able to reach his mind in this moment, he only knew he would remember it forever.
Several minutes went by.
Still, no one had said a word.
Everyone stared at him and Gintoki stared at the door where he had last seen her.
“ehh.. Gin-san..? Is everything ok?" Shinpachi asked carefully, the sounds slowly returning to the room.
Gintoki's fingers slowly lifted up to touch his lips, her sweet taste still lingering on them.
“what…?" ..did just happen?

Okay, so it happened to be the middle of the love season in Japan. It was after Valentine's day, but before White Day. You knew Gintoki was happy that you had given him a lot of chocolate, most of which was stored at your place to keep safe from Kagura, but him acting all... Over-dramatically lovey-dovey? That was just... Kind of out of character. He was affectionate, and definitely touch starved, but he wasn't usually one to do... Cutsie public displays of affection. He liked to grab your waist and say something that might make you slap him, but not usually one to gush over how cute you were in an outfit...
It worried you a bit, but you decided to not think on it too long. Something was on his mind, and you knew it would be best to not try and pressure him in to talking. He would come to you when he was ready to talk about it. If you started getting complaints or comments from others, though, you might pursue it a little harder.
One afternoon, as you found yourself lazing on one of the couches at the Yorozuya, reading Gin's JUMP and dog-sitting Sadaharu; you heard the odd shuffling of feet. It wasn't like either of the three of them to be so... Nervous? That was the best way you could describe the sound. Sadaharu lifted his head and looked towards the door, but soon laid back down. It was clearly someone familiar, or he would've been a bit more alert.
You placed your bookmark in the JUMP volume before placing it down on the table, sitting and standing up to make your way to the door. You slid it open to find a very nervous looking Gin, wearing... A suit? Did he have flowers behind his back? You were pretty sure White Day was at least a week or more away, so you couldn't quite figure out why he looked like he wanted to take you on a date.
"Uh... Babe? What's with all... This?" You looked him up and down, his cheeks turning a brighter shade of pink.
"It's... Nevermind the outfit! I... Uh..." He cleared his throat, trying to calm his nerves, "I love you so much that my heart aches whenever we’re apart."
You stared at him as his gaze shifted to his shoes, his nose and the tips of his ears flushing with the same pink as his cheeks. If you weren't so confused, you would tease him about how cute he looked right now.
"Okay, what romance movie did you pick that up from?" You teased, stifling your giggle. Your smile faded as he gave you the cutest embarrassed glare you had ever seen. It was a serious look, and that's what caught your attention the most.
"Y/N!!! I'm being serious... I... I did all this stupid stuff because... I love you..."
"I know, and I love you too-"
"Please let me finish," he mumbled with a pout. You smiled softly and nodded, growing more curious by the second. "As I was saying... I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know all this sounds cheesy as hell, but will you... Marry me?"
It felt like your heart skipped a beat when he said that, tears picking the edges of your eyes. That's why he had been acting so weird! It all made sense now! You jumped on him, arms around his shoulders as he dropped the flowers in order to hold you up.
"Nothing would make me happier," you spoke softly but lovingly, leaning down to kiss him.

Patrol
A/N: It's been ages since I Iast wrote a GinTsu fanfic. So, yeah. Here I am. Back with another gintsu fic I’ve been working on. I still am not very confident about my writing so...yeah. I'm sorry if the characters look too OOC. Hope you guys enjoy my somewhat average(?) writing ^_^!
*************
Tsukuyo’s patrols were nothing new to Gintoki.
Whether it was before the war or after, looking after Yoshiwara and Hinowa’s safety was her first priority. Everytime he visited, for one reason or another, he would see her, talk to her, have his usual silly argument and by nighttime hear her say “I’m out for patrol” to Hinowa before leaving the teahouse.
Yeah, it was her routine. Work. Some peace of mind. And then again, work. Really, was that woman going to work herself to death!?
It was gonna be the same this evening as well when Gintoki decided to visit Yoshiwara, simply because he was getting bored in his house all alone when the kids were away and he had nothing to do, literally. Arriving, he found Seita and Hinowa alone in the teahouse doing their work.
No signs of the drunk terminator.
It had happened before, many times, when he would visit and she wouldn’t be present, running across the district to chase away criminals. After all, unlike him, she was a pretty busy woman. And yet, he couldn’t held onto his curiosity a little longer.
“So, where is she?” Gintoki asked, sipping tea from his cup.
“Who knows."Hinowa replied. "She went out during noon, telling me she had some business to attend. But hasn’t returned yet.”
Gintoki continued to eat his dango while staring at the crowded street. Even Hinowa didn’t know where she was, and even if she did he wasn’t going to dig any further. It wasn’t his place to pry, after all.
“I think she visited his grave today.”
Hinowa’s words caught his attention as he stared back at her with his usual dead eyes. “It’s been four years today you know.”
***************
It was night by the time Gintoki finally decided to leave the tea house. Really, Hinowa perfectly knew how to bribe him with her oh-so-sweet smile and four strawberry parfaits. Smiles aside, he could never say no to parfaits! And so, he got stuck with Seita, helping him with his studies.
And the whole time, still no sign of Tsukuyo.
It was late already and Gintoki wasn’t really planning to stay the night there just for her sake. When Hinowa told him about her visit outside, he knew pretty well. No matter what happened that day, she still considered him her master. And forgave him for his sins as well. After all, he knew that feeling pretty well too.
Walking down the streets, he kept his gaze forward, glancing at the rooftops once in a while just to check whether she was there yet or not. Finally, he found someone standing on the rooftop of one of the high-top buildings, her figure glistening with moonlight as she took another puff from her kiseru. Without giving a second thought, he turned around that building to meet the infamous leader of Hyakka.
The least he could do was say hello.
***************
A gust of cold breeze relieved the night sky as the chitter-chatter continued on the streets of the former City of Nights. Amongst the voices and laughs was the sound of a certain someone wheezing in pain as he climbed the final step of the building.
Even the great Shiroyasha was no match against one hundred and fifty stairs. Seriously, where are the elevators in this building!?
Finally reaching the rooftop while cursing and panting, Gintoki stood there with one of his hand on his right knee and other on the rooftop door as he tried to calm his racing heart. He really didn’t want to admit it but he was growing old after all. Catching up his breath, he looked at the woman standing in front of him. Her back facing him as she continued to stare at the starry night sky, with the crescent-shaped moon shining above, partially lightening their surrounding.
“Out for patrol?"Gintoki asked, after finally composing himself.
Tsukuyo turned around in surprise to find the silver-haired samurai looking at her way. "Watcha doin’ here”?
"I guess I was the first one to ask."he replied, walking towards her.
Tsukuyo glared back as he now stood beside her. "Just had some business ta take care of.” She replied anyway.
Gintoki hmmed at her response. “What ‘bout ya? What brought ya here tonight?” She asked.
Grinning, he turned around to look at her with his response prepared. “Oh, nothing. Just thought you ladies must be missing your Gin-san so here I am. Paying you ladies a visit.”
Tsukuyo just smirked at his cocky response. “Ya were alone and gettin’ bored, weren’t ya?”
Gintoki couldn’t help those red fumes warming up on his face with embarrassment as she completely saw through his childish lie. “Yeah, yeah. I was getting bored and so just came here to look for some company.” He pouted, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. “Got a problem with that?”
Tsukuyo could just smiled at his child-like behaviour. “Not at all.”
Gintoki glanced at the smiling woman as a peaceful silence soon surrounded them.
“So, how are you doin’?” He finally decided to speak.
“Same as ever.” Tsukuyo replied. “Got a lotta work ta do."
"You’re gonna work yourself to death, woman.”
“I’ll be fine.”
Gintoki rolled his eyes at her response. “Yeah. After you end up in some hospital bed.”
Tsukuyo lightly chuckled at his concerned behaviour. “I’ll be fine. Really.”
"Fine." He exhaled in defeat. Silence soon felp over between them as both continued to gaze at the former City of Night.
It was always like this; she was always like this. Strong-willed and determined, always trying to hold up on her own while a wall surrounded her. No matter how much someone tried, she would always keep that stoic face of hers, not letting anybody to see her vulnerable side. Not even to that man who’d seen her at her most broken state. Four years and still hasn’t changed.
“Hinowa was worried, ya know.” This caught Tsukuyo’s attention. “You skipped work today and haven’t been home since morning. It’s not like you.”
Tsukuyo heard the concern in his voice as guilt rushed over her. “Yeah…I just had somethin’ to do.” She replied, looking the other way.
Gintoki could easily detect the reluctance in her voice. Of course, she would do that. Feel guilty about it. The last thing she wanted to do was make anybody worry. Especially when she was being the center of their worry. He finally turned around to look at the woman standing beside him. “You’re killing yourself, you know that?”
It was Tsukuyo’s turn to look at him. And their eyes finally met.
“You can talk about things if you want.”
She always failed, always, when she found herself looking at those ruby irises as Tsukuyo could feel all her worry escape her mind, her walls slowly crumble, as she laid exposed in front of him again. But before it got too late, she caught up again, breaking herself free from that unnamed trance. Crossing her arms, she spoke in her usual monotonous voice. "Says the man who does exactly the same.”
Really. Now she was just getting on his nerves. “You’re being way too stubborn.”
“And you’re bein’ overly concerned.”
“Well, shouldn’t I be?”
For a second, Gintoki saw her flat, cold eyes dilate, a sense of guilt and..grief clouding her vision. But soon she turned away, no more facing him. Same. Always the same.
She really didn’t want to face him now of all people. “What do ya want, Gintoki?”.
“Nothin’.” Gintoki shrugged. “Just checking on a friend, that’s all. Unless…..you wanna go on a different route.”
“Just shut up.” Tsukuyo rolled her eyes at his very suggestive joke but the little smile that curled up on her lips was hard to resist. Afterall, he was always like this; would appear out of nowhere, crack lame jokes and make her smile at times where all she could think of was running away. Four years of being in love with this lazy-ass samurai, and she always ended up thinking this must be the craziest thing she had ever done in her entire life.
“So, where were you the whole day?” Gintoki asked, facing her yet again.
Just like always, straight to the point. “I visited Shishou’s grave today.”
“Oh.”
“It’s been four years today.” Although her voice reminded cold, her eyes spoke something else.
She still blamed herself for everything. Like always.
He remembered everything. Her bruised face, the fight with Jiraiya and the promise that he once made to her.
She killed her master to protect him. Back when Jiraiya stood behind him with his kunai ready in that abandoned temple, ready to stab him anytime. He knew he was a coward, just like that man. Running away from his cursed fate, running away from that pain. Running away from that one beautiful thing that he always wanted to protect. He remembered hearing a kunai stabbing, piercing the skin while the scent of fresh blood covered the entire room. Gintoki knew it was not him bleeding; and it was not Jiraiya who threw that kunai.
He remembered that look on her face. He remembered looking at her, as if he was looking at himself. Broken. And empty.
“That wasn’t your fault.” Gintoki didn’t know what he was saying but he just wanted to say something. He knew how heavy the burden was and now that she was here, he just didn’t want her to carry that all alone. "Please don't blame yourself, Tsukuyo."
It's not like Gintoki never called her by her name but it was still so rare. Their usual banters always made him call her a "hag" or "bitch" (and she'd stick to "perm head" or "bastard") and even when they're having a miraculous normal conversation like this, he preferred calling her "Tsukki", the beloved pet name that Kagura gave her, only to rile her up even more.
He preferred calling her Tsukuyo only when he was actually being serious.
"Thanks, Gintoki." Tsukuyo replied, a sorrowful smile forming on her lips.
From the corner of his eyes, Gintoki saw the stoic woman, her gaze still fixated on the city but a glint of regret and sorrow filling her eyes. She was a lady of few words; he knew she was never going to open up in front of anyone, let alone him. She might show the world that she was holding herself together but he knew too well how much she was hurting right now.
And right now, more than anything, he wanted to see her smile. Why, he had no idea, but his mind itched to look at her smiling face. It was rare but everytime she did smile in front of him, he couldn't help but just pray to whatever Gods that existed to let her smile like this more often. He didn't know what kind of magic her smile held but for some reason, he always found himself looking forward to that one smile. And deep down, before he even knew it, he found himself wanting to make her smile.
"I envied you."
Those words slipped his lips before he could even register it properly in his brain.
At his unusual confession, Tsukuyo found herself turning towards that man.
Gintoki couldn't understand why he decided to say this now out of all times. "Back then," he continued "I envied you. For how you strong really are."
Tsukuyo couldn't help the confounded look on her face as she heared him say those words.
"If it's the teacher's duty to carry the burden of their student then what's the student's duty? To grow strong enough to help carry the teacher's burden." Gintoki quoted her words; remembering her figure as she carried her master on her shoulder for the last time. "I always pushed people away, just like that man. I didn't want to bear that burden of losing anyone anymore. There was a time when I lost everything while protecting everything. And so I blamed myself. And the world. And even at times, the people I once cherished the most. Even when I met the kids and everyone else, I still felt like running away. I was still scared. And not strong enough to carry that burden. But that night," he took a deep breath, composing himself "you taught me something. Something which I was never able to understand. Or should I say, I didn't want to understand."
He glanced towards the woman standing beside him, her eyes bewildered and questioning as a small smile curled up on his lips. "I envied you because I realised I could never become like you. And that how kind and strong you really are and how much you've taught me. Those words, they were something that I guess I always wanted to hear. And this time, I was able to understand. So, thank you. For teaching me that."
Tsukuyo didn't know what to say.
She continued to look at the man with wide eyes as her heart soon was swelled with a number of overwhelming emotions. The amount of gratitude and respect that he expressed for her and how his kind words left her speachless; she wanted to thank him too. She wanted to thank him for all that he had done for them. For her. She wanted to scream, cry, smile and even jump in his arms because she knew how much it pained him to talk about his past. But still he remained there, trying to cheer her up. He always did. And she loved him for that.
"...I see." She replied, her eyes now looking down because she wasn't able to look at that man. "It's good ta hear that."
Gintoki's words must have boosted her spirits up but it wasn't always when he'd just come out of nowhere and start showing his gratitude towards her. And she still wasn't used to getting compliments from anyone, let alone him. And now, if she did look at him now, she knew she'd turn red or maybe even start crying because suddenly, her heart and mind was a mess. She was completely exposed, completely vulnerable under his gaze. However, it was her pride which helped her gain a little composure.
"So, ya were able ta carry the burden, huh?" She asked, calming herself a little.
"Yeah." He smiled, thinking of all the events that happened. He remembered his father, his friends, the kids, all the other people who stayed by him. And then there was her, standing right beside him. "Yeah, I was."
"Good ta hear that." She smiled, taking a puff from her kiseru and exhaling lightly as she tried to regain her composure. But before she could even let the heat escape her cheeks, she found herself pulled towards a warm chest as strong, wide arms held her close.
"Ginto-" she stammered, but was cut soon after.
"Shut it."
Tsukuyo heard the man whisper softly in her ears as her hand dangled awkwardly on her sides. His strong arms were wrapped around her torso as he pulled her closer. She was too surprised to give any kind of reaction at this point.
He didn't know what came to his mind. Maybe it was the stoic face which hid hundreds of wounds behind it. Or maybe it was her ice-cold eyes which had a look of surprise when he thanked her for all she had taught him. Or maybe the fact that how she'd take another smoke from her pipe just to relax herself a little. The little changes that he found himself looking at every single time he met her; how even after all those years, she never let herself see anyone. Even when they were burying Jiraiya's body next to his sister's at the cliff, her face and eyes remained unchanged. Even when she was betrayed, even when she suffered so much, she always remained strong and kind; she carried so much weight on her shoulders all alone and yet she never let herself fall apart. Neither did she decide to run away from her responsibilities. She was a role model, the Courtesan of Death everyone respected and feared. And she never let anyone look through the wall.
However, for some reason, he found himself wanting to break those walls.
It wasn't always when Sakata Gintoki just casually goes out sprinkling compliments on everyone, let alone pull someone right for a hug. But here he was, doing something completely out of charcacter. Physical affection wasn't really her thing but here she was, wrapped around the arms of the man she had fallen for. Of course she knew that he was worried about her and was trying to cheer her up but this...was highly unexpected.
"Stop carrying the burden all alone." He whispered in her ears.
And she flinched at his honest words."I told ya, ya have no right ta say that. Stop messin' with me."
It was once again when he saw right through her. When his arms pulled her closer, she felt so vulnerable, so naked, she wanted to go and hide somewhere. Yet, her mind and heart didn't tell her to stop. As if this place was a sanctuary and she had nothing else to fear. Before she could think any further, Tsukuyo found her arms wrapping around his neck as she buried her face in his chest. "Idiot. Why're ya always here."
It was more of a statement than a question. "Told you the reason already."
She chuckled at his usual, nonchalant voice. "Yeah, getting bored at home. I know."
He didn't know when he got this comfortable with her in his arms but to his suprise as well, he found himself burying his face in her neck as his nose lightly brushed her skin. "Yup. Something like that."
At that moment, they couldn't exactly pinpoint what were they feeling. But somehow, the sense of want and intimacy through this little gesture never felt so familiar.
"Thanks. Fer everythin'." Her voice was low as she clutched his kimono tightly. "Fer always bein' there and fer always coming back."
He smiled, now gently putting his chin on her head. "Thanks for waiting." He could feel her smile through his fabric.
Tsukuyo didn't know why she was crying; whether the tears now escaping her eyes were of joy or sorrow. But even so, crying in his arms did not feel forgein for some reason. As if she had cried a thousand times in his arms.
"Now don't rub your snot on my kimono. I washed it yesterday." He teased gently as he now felt small droplets of tear drench his kimono a little.
A chuckle escaped her lips as she gently nudged him on the arm, her ears listening to his almost steady heartbeat. "But weren't ya the one who told me that I could cry with a runny nose."
Ah. She remembered. "Well, aren't you a whiny one. Fine. But only for tonight. Don't get too comfy, you drunk terminator. "
"Oh I won't, ya asshole."
"Too bad you're hugging an asshole right now, Tsu-ki."
"Oh? Well, who was it who pulled me first, I wonder?"
"Just shut it, you hag."
"Back at ya, perm."
They didn't know whether it was the night, the breeze or just their warmth that kept them holding onto each other for so long. Maybe it was the mutual feelings shared between those two. Or was it really was night and the stars that made them share their secrets, they didn't know. It might be too cliche to say that time stopped for those two but even in that little moment, they were able to found years of serendipity in each other's arms. As if that was only thing that reminded buried deep within until then.
This moment couldn't be anymore poetic.
Maybe, joining her on her patrols wasn't half-bad. After all, even fierce individuals like them sometimes need a shoulder to lean on.

There are not enough words in the English language for me to express my love for Dadtoki. Do you think he is particularly strict? I read headcanons/fanfics were he is really strict with Kagura (even in fics where she is 19) Or do you think he is laid back and only interferes when necessary?
I think it’s wildly OOC for Gintoki to be strict. He loves Kagura, obviously, and he does have a very paternal role in Kagura’s life, but being strict and overbearing has never been in his wheelhouse. He lets those kids live their own lives and do their own things, he only gets involved when they need some guidance to help figure themselves out or when they dig themselves into a hole that they need a helping hand out of. Gintoki is aware of his role in Kagura’s life, too, just look at episode 330 if you want an example.
I get that Kagura and Sougo is a popular ship (it’s never really been for me, personally, and you can read my thoughts on it here if you’re interested) and I also get that some people like to see Gintoki be all possessive and protective of Kagura, but I don’t think he’d overtly be like that at all. Especially considering how close he is with Sougo. He lets Sougo and Kagura run off together all the damn time, he doesn’t give a shit what they’re doing, and more than likely, he probably trusts Sougo with her. Kagura and Sougo are friends and though Sougo can be an complete and total ass to people, he has genuine respect for Gintoki. It wouldn’t at all surprise me if Sougo knew without being told that Gintoki would come down on him with the swift hammer of justice if he did anything truly out of line. And even if Kagura and Sougo weren’t friends, I don’t think Sougo would ever do anything that would jeopardize his relationship with Gintoki.
Also, and these are just my personal thoughts, but I've always found that parental figures who are really strict end up damaging relationships. It always seems to make kids want to not listen and it really shows a lack of trust between parent and child. Gintoki trusts Kagura and Shinpachi so, so much, I have a really hard time envisioning him as some strict overlord that wants to have a say in all the decisions they make -- that all just seems so unlike him and that behavior doesn’t reflect how he treats them throughout the series. I feel like he trusts them to make their own decisions and to learn from their experiences. Another personal thought is that I find it really fucked up for Gintoki to be strict over a 19 year old LOL That idea is just wild to me. I mean, Gintoki was in a war before he was 19, but he’s going to be strict over someone that age? No way lol but hey, it’s fiction and people can do whatever they want with it, that’s just my opinion.
This is probably more of an answer than you wanted, but here you go!

My thoughts regarding the many questions / controversial discussions of the ending of Gintama and what it conveys (spoiler warning).
1. On saving Shoyo and what did Takasugi die for, regarding Shoyo's outcome: Why did Shoyo not live?
If saving Shoyo's life was the goal, if Takasugi had wanted to save Shoyo so that he could be with his teacher again, so that he could atone for his sins in the past, then what is that called? That, is called selfish. That is not Takasugi. Shoyo did not wish for eternal life. Takasugi knew what Shoyo truly wanted. He wanted to save Shoyo, for Shoyo. He "saved" Shoyo using his life, granting his teacher the one thing he desired the most: to be able to live and die, as a human. Thanks to Takasugi, that wish was fulfilled to the fullest.
In the end, Shoyo lived his moment, saw how much he himself has accomplished through a chain of reactions over the years (thanks to the meeting with Yorozuya), and as a teacher, protected his students and the second generation "students" of his student. He was truly happy. His students did everything they could so that his wish was recognized. Takasugi could not see this moment, but it was what he fought for. He was willing to act to save Shoyo even when knowing how much grief and pain it could cause him, even when knowing that they can never be together like old times. He did his best for his teacher anyway. That, is selfless.
2. On Matako finding Takasugi: In this world that Sorachi created, it has been established that, no matter what you do, as long as Earth is there, naturally, the Altana will be there. It is only simply the life force of Earth. It is something that cannot be avoided. Utsuro is simply a mere fragment of a personality that this life force carried.
How was Utsuro born? He was born from human's violence, hatred and abuse. He was an object that harbored all that is ugly in humanity, and as a result, that is what Utsuro tried to end. It ended up involving Earth and all others because that is all he saw, that is all he knew, that was how he was "raised", with cruelty and no remorse.
On the other hand, being raised by Gintoki has brought back the best memories that the being has experienced, through the image of Yoshida Shoyo. Part of him after being reborn, is Yoshida Shoyo and part of him is not. He is there because Earth is still very much alive. Can you imagine this time, being raised by Kiheitai's Matako with all the love and care she can muster up? That child is Takasugi and at the same time, he is not.
The point is, everything has changed. In contrast to a being who was born out of nothingness and then, tossed aside like nothing, now, there is that one person who searched for him with all their heart. He is no longer left alone or forgotten. This time, he was not born from nothing. He was born from the struggle, the ideal and the freedom that his friends, comrades, and teacher fought for.
Bottom line is, human, with the right mindset, can nurture Earth, the Altana, the dragon veins, even each other, everything. And to borrow Sorachi's words, in the end, even after the darkest depths of turmoil, our characters discovered a way of life that they find beautiful. That is the end they all have achieved. And I have nothing more to ask for.
3. On Gintoki surviving the final battle (just because he is the main character?): Who was Gintoki? An abandoned child who scavenged for food. He knew no right, no wrong. He had no ideals, no education, no souls. Shoyo painted his color into Gintoki's soul and there, that color remains. It was somehow faded a bit, forgotten a bit when the man passed away. But Yorozuya reminded him of it and also added their own colors to his soul.
By the last battle, he had Takasugi's colors mixed in as well. Takasugi was the one who convinced him to "save" their teacher and Gintoki carried out that will to the end. For someone who was empty at first, our main character has now been painted by many different individuals that he encountered. He projected and bellowed out all their colors in the most beautiful way possible.
Gintoki is there because of everyone. He is there for everyone, for the ones who had laid down their lives, and for the one who will rebuild the future. He shared his spotlight, and he told us this story with his entire soul. That, is our main character.
Finally, the one man who is behind all of this amazingness, that is our #空知先生. Thank you for all the incredible lessons for the last 15 years. I am and will always be forever grateful to you, your wisdom, ideals, and to Gintama.
With Love and Peace.

pt.1. Can I request a male Match Up for Noragami, Naruto, Gintama & MHA? Thanks! You're such a good writer, I'm so excited!! I'm a female ENFP (more introverted/ambiverted) aquarius. 5'1, brown eyes and hair that's preferred to stay in a ponytail. I am more practical thinking-wise, but am very clumsy physically and even already ran into stuff as I was invested in talking. Quite grounded and realistic, but also quite the dreamer and with big hopes for the future. Positive for friends & family. ☀

☰ Matched with Aizawa
While you may pique his interest a bit, he will not fall for you romantically very quickly, it will take some time but in the mean time he will develop a friendship with you over time but doesn’t really press for you to spend time with him. Though he can fall for you faster if you push to spend time with him or seem more enthusiastic or interested in being around you, he has to see more of your attitude and personality before he will begin to fall in love with you.
Even when he does begin to develop feelings for you it will be some time before he decides to do anything about it, this means it can be months or up to a year or longer before he actually feels the need to confess his feelings or ask you out. When he does ask you out it can seem kind of random because he won’t dwell on it or waste a lot of time planning out how he wants to go about asking you out, though it is most likely he will wait until the two of you are alone and in a more secluded place or at the very least somewhere that’s not very busy or crowded.
A quiet restaurant, while going for a walk or just spending time alone together, he is pretty casual about asking you out and it can even catch you a bit off guard or at least be a little surprising. He won’t really seem nervous or like anything is out of the ordinary and because of that you can even wonder if he’s being serious for a moment, though he is unlikely to bother asking you out unless he feels pretty confident that you like him to or hold some kind of romantic feelings for him.
Once the two of you do begin dating, he really won’t care to make the relationship very public at least not right away, not only because in case things didn’t work out but also because if things do work out he won’t like listening to people talk to him or ask him about the relationship. This means he’s not really open to being affectionate in public or at least not in front of certain people, but at the same time he won’t complain or completely oppose you if you want people to know about the relationship or if you accidentally say something about the relationship to others.
Even then he’s not all the open to PDA but not strictly against it either though can be more opposed to it in front of certain people (friends, students, fellow teacher) so he may ignore or refuse to respond to some affection to avoid attention, questions or being teased. You do tend to be very relaxed even kind of lazy and procrastinating at times which he doesn’t mind at all because he tends to be the same way unless push comes to shove and things need to get done, you can become bossy when stressed but he can understand why.
You have a lot of interests and can discuss a wide variety of topics and even like to argue or come up with arguments regarding politics, psychology or even movie plotlines. Which he doesn’t particularly care to argue or debate different topics unless it’s something he’s really serious or passionate about, but at the same time he can play along and discuss or debate different topics but he won’t really get riled up to the point of actually arguing.
But he can like throwing out different ideas or perspectives because you do enjoy discussing things and he really will like hearing your opinion and thoughts on different subjects. He does tend to come to you for advice or at least to get your thoughts because you can really be a good advisor and rather logical, plus you really do enjoy being able to help others and can be decisive when it comes to helping others.
This doesn’t mean he will always listen to your advice but he at least likes hearing your thoughts and suggestions, especially when he does have a decision to make. However, you can be pretty indecisive when it comes to dealing with things yourself and you overthink and worry a lot about what others might think before you do things which can make you second guess yourself a bit. He is rather caring, supportive and even affectionate with you when the two of you are alone, he’s also very observant and notices pretty easily when something is bothering you or when something is on your mind at least.
Which he can press a little but won’t force you to open up to him but he will try to encourage you to speak your mind and vent your feelings or frustrations when you need to. He is rather gentle and kind towards you so he does choose his words carefully because he doesn’t want to hurt your feelings or make you uncomfortable.
Over all he is far more caring and considerate towards you then he shows at times, and while he doesn’t really care for PDA, he will be affectionate with you when the two of you are alone.
He isn’t clingy and doesn’t get jealous but he can be quite protective over you and will do whatever it takes to keep you safe especially if you aren’t much of a fighter, but he also can be pretty quick to stand up for you and defend particularly if you aren’t one to really stand up for yourself. Once he plans a future with you, he really won’t see a future without you and he will do whatever it takes to keep you safe and with him no matter the obstacles that arise he’ll stay by your side through it all.
Tumblr media
☰ Headcanons between the two of you
■ Doesn’t instigate affectionate acts with you very often but when he does it’s in fairly subtle ways at first, touching or playing with your hair or holding your hand. Then leading into hugs or cuddle with you usually when watching movies, tv shows or reading.
■ He tends to be very watchful over you and is quick to say something if he thinks someone isn’t good for you or isn’t really your friend, like if he feels like someone is using you or taking advantage of you whether it’s a friend or family member or someone you’ve known for a long time or just met.
■ Is comfortable spending time with you just about however you want though he doesn’t really care for a lot of busy or crowded places but he will take you anywhere you want to go. But he can seem more on edge or uncomfortable with places he doesn’t really like.
■ Can be very encouraging and helps to build up your self-esteem particularly at times when you seem down or upset, or especially if you are hard on yourself or very critical. Because he won’t like seeing you sad or upset which can lead him to compliment or praise you more often.
☰ Other Possible Matches
Tumblr media
◐ Gintoki
He is very laid back, loving and protective of you but can have a hard time really showing you how much you actually mean to him because he has a tendency to mask his feelings with humor. And that doesn’t mean he can’t show you his feelings or how he feels about you but it can take awhile for him to really warm up to you and trust you enough to show a more real and honest side to you.
He doesn’t mind PDA but doesn’t really instigate it either and is far more open to affectionate acts when the two of you are alone, he does tend to be pretty lazy and unmotivated at times but he is fairly supportive and encouraging to dreams and goals that you have. He likes simple dates with you and will not like highly active activities for dates, or places that are very busy or crowded, because he will enjoy relaxing and being able to with you somewhere more peaceful and quieter.
Tumblr media
◐ Daikoku
He is very loving, caring and considerate with you and can very pretty motherly with you at times as well as very protective and won’t let anyone do anything to hurt you, which can make him quick to defend you and even seem threatening towards others he doesn’t know or especially if he doesn’t like them. He’s not afraid to step in and be mean or hostile towards others if he feels like you are being treated badly or unfairly, he’ll also be very honest with you about how he’s feeling especially if he doesn’t like someone you hang out with.
He prefers to keep affection between the two of you for when you are alone together rather than engage in too much PDA, though he really doesn’t mind some such as holding hands and won’t flat out stop you from hugging or clinging to him where ever the two of you are.

Ohk this is my favourite blog! Btw what are your pronouns? I've got an interesting request. Hcs or imagines for takasugi and gintoki on how their so can annoy them. You know how gintoki teases sugi about his height.
I can’t believe i’m someone’s favorite blog, thank you! I use they/them pronouns.
Takasugi Shinsuke
Shinsuke actually gets annoyed very easily irritated and while he’s normally good at hiding it, he does let his guard down more around his s/o. Meaning that he will react in the same way he reacts to Gintoki but a bit more playful
 Like I said, he’s easily irritated so teasing him about pretty much anything is going to annoy him at least a little
We already know that his height is a sensitive subject
If they point out how edgy is he that will also annoy him if they keep going on about it. He knows he’s edgy okay
He will also get annoyed if his s/o uses something and leaves it laying around rather than putting it back where it belongs
Sakata Gintoki
Tease him about his love for Ketsuna Anna and he will immediately become defensive
If they keep nagging him about how many sweets he eats or tell him that it’s bad for his health he will become instantly annoyed
Please, whatever you do, do not make fun of his curls
Gin is pretty laid-back so he doesn’t get annoyed by much

Chapter 3
After the sunset the evening was chilly. Streets of Kabukicho were still full of people. Kagura was running with a dust trail behind her. She was running as fast as she could... Kagura's mind was commanded by one thought and one thought only: Get home, NOW. Was she running so hastily to get home, or was she trying to outrun her ferocious heartbeat? She wasn't sure.
Finally, Kagura reached home, she jumped on the balcony and slid the front door open. Someone was in the living room. Kagura kicked her boots off and took a deep breath. ”Kagura-chan?” A familiar voice asked. Kagura walked into the living room. ”Gin-chan, why are you still up? Kagura asked.
Gintoki had his crossed fingers under his chin and a concerned look on his face. Kagura dodged Gintoki's eyes and quickly shuffled towards her closet. Gintoki got up and tried to grab Kagura by her shoulder, but she was faster and managed to close her closet door before Gintoki got to her. Kagura leaned her back against the door. She let herself slide down on the floor and she felt warm tears on her cheeks.
Gintoki stood behind the door and Kagura knew that. ”Kagura-chan, listen to me. I know you must feel terrible about what happened earlier today, that old baldie surprised even me.” Gintoki said. Kagura stayed silent and kept listening to Dadtoki Gintoki. ”This thing will clear up tomorrow, I'm sure about it. But if you want to talk about it, I'm here,” Gintoki said while scratching his natural perm hair.
Kagura sniffled louder. Gintoki panicked and said: ”Oi, oi, please don't cry I- He was caught short by Kagura's words: ”It's okay Gin-chan, I'm just feeling a little odd.” Gintoki took a deep breath and said: ”I'm sorry that your father has made you feel that way, that's really messed up.” Kagura was shaking her head and said: ”It's not papi that made feel this odd feeling.”
Gintoki was a bit confused. ”Oh, what do you mean Kagura-chan, did someone else do something to hurt you?” Gintoki asked with worry. Kagura closed her eyes, wiped away her tears and touched her neck. She remembered Sougo's breath that tingled her skin, just the thought of it made her mouth dry. ”Kagura?” Gintoki repeated. ”I...I'm tired Gin-chan, good night!” Kagura said while getting up from the floor.
A puzzled Gintoki walked away from Kagura's door, then he heard it, the tiniest and most sinful: *GROOOOOOOOWL*. Gintoki smiled and walked away. Kagura changed into her pyjamas and laid on her sort of bed. What a weird day, since when did that stupid sadist begin to look kind of...handsome...no...not handsome. A giant pile of amanto dung, uh-huh. Kagura though, as she turned to her side.
Kagura felt a warm and fuzzy feeling when she thought about Sougo's face and his eyes, his fierce reddish eyes. What is wrong with me? Why is my heart so warm when I think about him? So weird and gross, (mental barf). Kagura thought to herself. Her tummy growled again and she decided to sneak in some food without Gintoki's knowledge.
Kagura got up and opened her door. Lights were out and silent snoring could be heard from Gintoki's room. Perfect, Kagura thought and took a step. She hit her toe on something small. It was a full box of sukonbu on the floor, just for her. Kagura smiled and thought: Maybe you aren't such a useless madao after all Gin-chan.
She picked up the sukonbu and closed the door. Kagura laid on her bed again, munching and thinking. It would be a sleepless night, but not once did she worry about her future husband or her papi, there was only one man in her head that night.
Across the town, at the exact same moment, poor Yamazaki happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. ”Okita-taichou! Where have you been, you weren't attending our evening training?” Yamazaki asked while holding a bag of anpans. Captain Okita Sougo stomped into the Shinsengumi compound and was heading straight for his room. ”Okita-taichou?” Yamazaki asked again (which was an obvious mistake, poor guy).
Sougo gave Yamazaki a demonic look. Yamazaki's life flashed before his eyes. Sougo grabbed his bag of anpans, stuffed it in his bazooka and fired at the badminton master of the Shinsengumi. Yamazaki ducked in time, but the yard was filled with a mash of anpan. Other officers were looking with horror and confusion. Sougo kept on walking towards his room.
Sougo was blocked by a cigarette smoking Hijikata. Sougo stopped and said with anger in his voice: ”Get out of my face.” Hijikata looked at the wet captain and asked: ”What the hell happened to you?” ”Get out of my fucking face, NOW!” Sougo yelled and forced himself to pass his superior. Sougo didn't look back and went to his room. Hijikata was puffing his cigarette and followed Sougo with his eyes.
Finally, in the privacy of his room, Sougo yanked off his wet jacket, kicked his shoes off and let himself collapse on the floor on his knees. He clenched his fists and felt his pounding heart again. Damn you China, damn you. You kicked me in the crotch, who does that, but wild monsters, which she obviously is, a horrible beast...horribly strong beast...a strong beast woman...woman. Such an enchanting woman...What, how did it get into this again? Sougo thought as he pounded his fist on the floor.
Sougo felt so humiliated that he let himself be so vulnerable with Kagura and then she took advantage of the situation. Sougo got up from the floor, set out his futon and changed on his sleeping yukata. As Sougo laid in bed, he closed his eyes and thought about Kagura.
I really thought she was giving me ”signs”. I'm such an idiot. This is the beast girl that caught my eye since...well a long time ago, I finally need to accept that. She is so different from every other woman. She really cares about her friends and family. China has such an amazing effect on everyone around her, her energy and her smile are so infectious.
Oh god...I would sound so pathetic if anyone could hear me now (I think you sound sweet Sougo) I've been in denial for so long, but I guess it's time to come clean to China...I have to make sure I can kill her if she laughs at me. China...do you really hate me so much? Sougo wondered. Sougo had always been a man that was hard to read, because of his deadpan face. Although a true companion, a true partner would see right past his shell.
It was a silent night, few stars were winking from the dark sky. Sougo was looking at the sky through his window. He was so head over heels for Kagura that even the freaking stars reminded of her sparkly eyes. It seemed that the 1st division captain was a soft, snuggly teddy bear inside. Maybe I should do that chivalrous shit, maybe a bouquet of sukonbus or something. Sougo sighed at his gooey thoughts and tried to get some sleep.
Next day at the Yorozuya, Gintoki and Shinpachi were sitting in complete silence. Kagura hadn't come out of her room yet. Shinpachi was getting anxious, he was tapping his foot rapidly. Gintoki was reading JUMP and tried to ignore his subordinate. Shinpachi's foot had reached the speed of light. ”Shinpachi!! I'm going to rip that foot off you and feed it Sadaharu if you don't stop, right, NOW!” a roar was heard from Kagura's closet.
Shinpachi froze at the sight of angry Kagura walking out of her closet. ”Ka-Kagura-chan, you're up!” Shinpachi stuttered with a nervous smile. Kagura rolled her eyes and stomped into the kitchen. Gintoki's nose was buried deep inside his JUMP. ”Kagura-chan, there's some breakfast ready for you, we weren't that hungry,” Gintoki said without lifting his gaze. Kagura knew it was sort of a pity breakfast, but she was hungry, so she went with it.
The Yorozuya trio was sitting in the living room and Kagura had changed her clothes and was now devouring her second portion of breakfast. There was a knock on the door. Everyone froze on the spot, they all knew who was at the door. Shinpachi got up and went to answer the door. ”Umibouzu-san, come in!” Shinpachi said. Kagura swallowed her food and put the empty bowl on the living room table. Gintoki was silently observing her actions.
Shinpachi and Umibouzu made their way to the couches in the middle of the living room. Umibouzu sat next to Gintoki and straight across from Kagura. Kagura was looking at her feet with a neutral face. Umibouzu cleared out his throat and said: ”Kagura, I would like to talk to you, privately, if you don't mind?”
Kagura gave her father a tiny nod and got up. ”Papi, let's take a walk outside,” Kagura said and grabbed her parasol. Umibouzu followed her and they left the Yorozuya shop. ”What do you think he is going to tell Kagura? Gintoki and Shinpachi changed looks and shrugged their shoulders.
Kagura and Umibouzu were walking in Kabukicho district, it was a sunny day and the streets were once again full of people. Kagura was holding her parasol with both hands, her two long ponytails were flowing with her step. Umibouzu was looking at her daughter, he wanted to explain everything to her. ”Out with it papi! You came here for a reason, yes?” Kagura said neutrally.
”Kagura, as I told you yesterday, I made a deal with Orochi, the leader of Kuro Orochi. I got the Altanian crystal from him and I promised you as his bride,” Umibouzu explained. ”I got that already, I just...I love my life here, and this is going to change everything,” Kagura said.
Kagura had mixed emotions, she wanted to honor her father's deal, but she was very unsure of marrying someone she didn't know. Kagura's thoughts were interrupted with Umibouzu's words: ”Orochi will arrive in two weeks, that's when you meet him and the wedding arrangements will begin.” ”In two weeks, what if I hate him, or he is a fat madao or something?” Kagura asked.
”Uh, well he is much nicer than he was in his youth,” Umibouzu said nervously. ”I was only kidding papi, besides if he's a weird man, I'm going to kick his ass, that's what I do to weird men,” Kagura cheered. ”No, Kagura-” Umibouzu began, before Kagura laughed: ”You really don't get my jokes papi.” Umibouzu laughed a bit.
”So, in two weeks I'll meet this Orochi, I hope he buys me lots of sukonbu AAAND I hope he isn't a stupid sadistic bastard...” Kagura huffed. ”A sadistic bastard? Umibouzu inquired. ”Umm...nevermind papi, well now that you are here, can we go eat something, you'll pay of course, because my paycheck hasn't arrived yet.” (actually not once in 4 years)
As the strong Yato duo was looking for a restaurant Kagura hadn't been banned because of her bottomless appetite. Umibouzu felt that there was one thing he wanted to clarify for his daughter: ”Kagura, I want you to know, that if there was a safe way for you to get out of this deal, I would do it...I just don't want to put you in danger.”
Kagura patted her father's helmet and said: ”Don't worry papi, I can take care of myself, you have nothing to worry about. I've always wanted a sugar daddy to buy me everything I, a beautiful, blooming woman, would want.” ”You are so brave,” Umibouzu said with a proud smile.
Kagura was putting on a smile, but secretly she was still very scared. Kagura was scared that she had to marry someone who she might not love, that would make her very depressed, even with a lot of money to spend. Money was only money to Kagura, she valued strength, loyalty, and trust. She didn't have anyone special in mind, not anyone who made her heart race...right?

Binge-Watching: Gintama, Episodes 11-15
The journey continues! In which darker themes begin to surface, I consider this show’s impressive tonal tightrope, and the comedy continues to impress.
Specters of the Past
If there’s a theme that becomes present in this set of episodes, it’s the idea of figuring out how much of the past you want to take with you moving forward. Broadly speaking, the world of Gintama is a world where the ruling class has tried to erase the past, and our heroes are divided in their opinions on how hard to fight to reclaim that past and how much you leave behind to move forward. And that idea gets explored in more personal detail here, as we get more insight into how a bunch of characters got to where they are today. Turns out Otose the landlady was a kind and generous woman who gave pretty much everyone she could a helping hand, and it got her in a lot of trouble at times. But she still does so, even though it puts her at risk of being conned and taken advantage of, because she’s seen how hard some people have it. It’s why she puts up with Gintoki’s bullshit and lack of rent money; the first time they met, he was desperate enough to eat the offerings she left for her dead husband. No one that low down is deserving of any more hardship. It’s a fascinating little detail that provides so much insight into their relationship (and also why she doesn’t just kick his broke ass out). We also learn more about our nominal villains, the Shinsengumi; they follow their boss Kondo without question because he’s the person who let them retain their samurai rank and swords, the vestiges of their lost honor. In a society that’s pushing relentlessly forward, leaving history and tradition in the dust, the act of being the person you always were might be the most revolutionary act of all.
And in contrast, there’s Gin-san himself, who wasn’t able to save his comrades in the fight against the Amanto invasion. For him, going back only leads to failure and pain. He drives himself into the future and away from his samurai roots to become someone free of that painful burden. Hell, he’s basically a more laid-back version of the classic post-apocalypse “dad” protagonist (think Joel from The Last of Us or Logan from, well, Logan), who abandons humanity after watching his loved ones die, only to be drawn back into the light by the promise of a new surrogate family. It’s a trick this show is really good at using; massaging and relaxing old cliches into a looser, lighter incarnation that goes down with a wink and a nod without losing any of the emotional weight behind it.
That’s a harder line to walk that it might seem; too far one way or another, and you either bury the emotions under too much irony or lose the welcome brightness under torrents of maudlin tears. But Gintama’s walking that line really well, and it’s all exemplified in Gin’s realization that, against all odds, he really does care for Shinpatchi and Kagura. He realizes that friendship is a heavy weight that you never notice until it’s gone, and as easy as it might be to just live without that weight, he can’t help but end up carrying it again after all this time, taking his past with him into the future. It’s delivered with a surprisingly beautiful understatement, carried on the warm marble of Tomokazu Sugita’s relaxed voice and landing as a profound “oh, duh” moment, earning its oomph without sacrificing the soul of the character. Gin-san’s got a long (long, long, looooong) path ahead of him before his journey’s over, but he doesn’t have to spend it all looking resolutely forward. He can afford a glance back every now and then. And that’s a pretty damn beautiful sentiment.
The Art of Underplaying
In other news, I’m continuing to find more ways to talk about the comedy, which is always a good sign of a show that knows what it’s doing. There were a couple of recurring gags that made me realize how good Gintama is at underplaying. There’s the “summer cutoffs” gag: the officers just show up in their new, beach-ready uniforms, and it’s only ever acknowledged by Hijikata’s change in expression. Same deal with the “Sadaharu bites someone” gags.  So often it’s both completely off center in the frame and not addressed by the characters, so they’ll continue to talk about the situation at hand while blood dribbles down Gintoki’s newly slick forehead. The dichotomy between the importance of a thing happening and the scope of the reaction to it is one of the pillars of comedy, and Gintama makes great use of it here. Sometimes, not drawing attention to something is the best way to draw attention to it.
Odds and Ends
-”Gin exhales his sweet breath.” “Argh! Shin takes 99 points of damage!” Even when they’re fighting, they can’t resist the urge to crack wise together. That’s friendship, yo.

-Headcanon that the dango lady is actually alternate-universe Nagisa Furukawa and nobody can convince me otherwise
-Okay, that fake intro narration slew me.

-”You Earthlings all look the same to me.” rofl
-”We want to search for the one lost treasure: One Park.” *stares into the camera like I’m in The Office*
-Look at these motherfuckers Errol Flynn-ing all over the place. I approve.
-AND HE’S JUST SMOKING THE FROG ASKDHASKDJHASD

(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ Matchup ♥
★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★
Hi!~ you can just call me Alex, please!~ I would like to be anon if that is ok lol the fandoms I want are A3!, Haikyuu!!, and Naruto! 🥰 SFW and NSFW is alright with me! 😉 whatever is comfortable lol
Alright so, intro info! I’m a Capricorn sun, Sagittarius moon and Virgo Ascendant. My modality is Cardinal 53%, Fixed 37%, Mutable 11%. My elements are Earth 51%, Water 36%, Fire 10% and Air 3%. My MBTI is INFJ. I’m also a HuffleClaw with a bit of Slytherin. I have was born with Turner Syndrome. I have ADHD, Autism, Anxiety and Depression. I am agender and I use they/them pronouns though she/her are alright since I’m used to those pronouns lol I am still exploring my sexuality, I am very open dating anyone of any gender so I would say I’m bi/panromantic, however I do strongly connect with the asexual spectrum since trust is a big deal for me lol
I had a coarctation or narrowing of the arota at 6 days old and was pronounced dead on the way to Children’s Hospital. I had open heart surgery soon afterwards. My grandmother was told that with all the mental health issues I could have due to TS, I could be super smart or I wouldn’t even be able to remember my own name. The doctor’s said I would be bad at math. My parents divorced when I was 10 and my little brother was 6. Both of them remarried, my dad once and our mol several times. Though, I won’t go more into that lol just to save you the details, our grandparents raised us and life was -is- really messy ahah
I’m currently going to college. I was supposed to graduate last semester, but I changed my major several times in the last 2 years lol 😂😂 I was a biology major and wanted to work in marine bio/ wildlife conservation and start my own rehab places for marine/terrestrial mammals. I am now a Middle School Education major with areas of concentration in science and language arts with a minor in TESL ( Teaching English as a Second Language). I want to teach English in Japan! 😊 As far as grade school, I always made As/Bs witout even trying and I loved to read, so much so that I got an award for it in 5th grade! I was quiet yet loud and super awkward as a kid 🤣🤣 I actually loved science a lot and even took AP courses until highschool because the teacher I would have taken in highschool was a really bad teacher who if he had family members and didn’t like them, he wouldn’t like you. He taught my father and his sister and didn’t like them, so least to say young and impressionable me noped out of that fast 😂😂
For a while, I wanted to be a Forensic Antropologist like Temeperance from Bones! 😊 however, we didn’t have a anthro major at my college, only chem lol so, when I started taking upper level courses, I quickly found I much prefer bio to chem 🤣🤣 I still dislike math as I have my whole life, but since I got to college, I’ve only made below a B in one math related course! 🥰
Ok sorry for a lot of random info 🤣🤣 onto other things! So, I’m very shy and quiet at first, but when I get comfortable around someone, that’s when the wierd comes out 🤣 I’m very passionate about education and science! I am a Christian and am very passionate about equality. I also firmly believe in redistributing millionare/billionares’ wealth.
I grew up watching anime and still love it to this day. I have strong connection with Japanese culture because anime was the gateway into learning about it and anime will always have a special place in my heart because of it! Japanese culture and really most if not all Asian cultures resonate with me because of the morals anime had taught me. I firmly believe in balance and hamrony with nature! I was introduced to kpop in middle school and have been a fan ever since lol 🤣 I also like pop/alternative music lol I like P!NK, Linkin Park, Adele and a few others lol
As I mention with wanting to be a marine biologist, I really love animals!~ 💕💜 my favs are otters, foxes, cats of all kinds, dogs, wolves, dolphins, and honey badgers! I currently have a Korat named Lila (li-lah like lilac) she is a very unique cat 🤣 she’s super curious and sorta a crackhead lol I did have a yorkie terrier named Sarah and a miniature schnauzer named Star, but since last June, we had to put both of them down 🥺 Sarah got cancer suddenly late last year and a few months ago Star had congestive heart failure. They were 13 and 14 respectively. They were amazing dogs! Sarah loved to swim and hunt little creatures and was the energetic one while Star was the grouchy old lady 🤣🤣
I also love anything fantasy/superhero! I love HP, LOTR, and Marvel! My fav genre of anime is shounen obvi lol 🤣Lol I also love learning other languages! I took French in highschool and two semester of Mandarin in college lol ( I need to brush up on both 🤣🤣) I am currently trying to learn Japanese! I wanna also learn Korean, Welsh, and Irish! I hope to go teach English in Japan via the JET program at my college! 🥰 I will more than likely stay in Japan after I stay the 5 max years through the JET program!
I also really love video games! I wanna play Persona 5 soo bad 🤣🤣 Horzon: Zero Dawn, the Legend of Zelda series, the Pokemon series and Animal Crossing: New Horizons are some of my favorites lol
Hmmm… what else to say? 🤣 I am typically the mom friend of the group ahaha oh! I am 4’9” and weigh 140 so I’m kinda chubby 😅 I am very self concious about my body. I have green eyes and I wear small, black rectangular glasses. I have moles and freckles all over my body. I have a dyed blonde bob with a brunnette undercut. I don’t have any piercings yet but I do have one tattoo on my inner left ankle!
I am stubborn, passionate, caring, empathetic, understanding, loving, loud, quiet, awkward, hyper, enthusiastic, curious, and I can procrastinate at times due to my ADHD lol I also love to have plans lol I like things to be organized and clean, but I don’t mind ‘organized chaos’ sometimes lol I am also very loyal to my friends. I prefer having a few super close friends than having tons of aquaintances.
Ok so dating lol um I’ve never actually dates anyone before 🙈 I’m also a virgin lol trust is a big issue for me, like aforementioned my parents divorce affected me a lot and I have a strained relationship with each of them due to the divorce and the events over the years afterwards. Plus, as a Capricorn, school/career is my main focus. I’m so busy with college and trying to figure myself out, I haven’t got time for dating ahaha so my irl soulmate will need to be a hell of a person and have the patience of a saint to deal with me 🤣
Even though I have never been in a relationship, out of curiousity and wanting to be knowledgeable, I have researched BDSM lol 😂 I am definitely not into slave/master, whipping, or anything super hardcore at all lol though, mild stuff like toys, handcuffs, spanking, biting, dirty talk, brat/tamer or daddy (mommy)/ little girl and blindfolds would be stuff I’m willing to try out lol basically, some light pain, toys and anything where I can be submissive and cast my cares away while still being able to be sassy/defiant suits me 🤣
Oh! For the purposes of this matchup, just male characters is fine lol like I said, I’m still trying to figure myself out so, for simplicities sake, assuming heteronorms is alright lol
Hmm as far as a type of guy I like, I can give you some anime examples 😂 Portgas D. Ace from One Piece, Itachi/Kakashi/Shikamaru from Naruto, Roy Mustang (also shoutout to Solf J. Kimblee as a guilty mention 🤣) from FMA!B, Kisuke Urahara from Bleach, Zuko/Sokka fron ATLA, Gintoki/Kamui/Takasugi/Shinpachi/Hijikata/Katsura from Gintama, Daisuke Kanbe from The Millionare Detective- Balance:Unlimited, Shinso Hitoshi/Shindo Yo from BNHA/MHA, Levi/Beel from Obey Me!, Itaru/Omi/Sakyo/Misuki/Tsuzuru/Kazunari/Banri from A3! And many more 🤣🤣 sorry for the long list lol basically to sum it up my type is kinda laid back, a lil perverted, confident, dominant, funny, teasing/flirty, caring, intellgent, mysterious, passionate and stubborn lol
Well, I hope that was enough info to get a good in depth matchup 🤣🤣 I feel like I gave too much but I wanna try to make it as detailed for y’all as possible so you can have an easier time with the matchup ahah thanks a lot, I love your blog and keep doing the good work you are doing! 🥰❤️💜💕 be sure to take care of yourselves and I hope y’all have a great weekend!! 🥰
( I apologize for sending it a second time, but there was some stuff I wanted to add that I forgot to mention until I after I sent in the first one 😭 again, I sincerely apologize!)

I choose Kiba to be your Naruto boyfriend! when he first sees you, and how quiet and shy you are, Kiba will definitely want to bring your inner playfulness out! And when he sees that you do have some playfulness in you, he will see that you became comfortable enough around him that your inner weird came out! And that would really pull at Kiba’s heartstrings! Kiba will also find it fascinating that you like different types of culture, and how the world works via science and education! He isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but he will definitely appreciate how you think, since he wants harmony in the world too! He will love the fact that you love animals and he will love the fact that you want to be a marine biologist! Being an animal lover himself, he will marry you right on the spot, just for that!
Since you are the mom friend of the group, you can totally take care of Kiba! It might not be the best, but Kiba would really love and appreciate you taking the time out of your day to do stuff for him, even if he didn’t ask for it! He will love your buddy, it being curvy and easy to hold onto, if you know what I mean wink wink. He will find your little beauty marks to be charming and I see him poking your moles and freckles every so often when he is bored! And when you tell him that you want to get tattoos, hell yeah! He will want to be there for when you get your first one!
Kiba will love the fact that you are passionate about your studies, and you main focus is school and your career! He will love the fact that you are don’t want anyone to mess up your future, and where you want to go in life! He may be a bit on the impatient side, but when he is with you, he will understand the need for patience and why it is important! He will also love the fact that you are so loyal to your friends! He doesn’t want to date anybody who isn’t loyal or isn’t compassionate to the people around them, so that will definitely be a plus in your book!
For the spicy stuff, Kiba at first would not know what he is doing but once he figures it out, ho boy, you are in a for a treat! Biting, lots of biting, and him being just very dominant, wanting to please you and make you feel like you are on cloud nine! He will let you do what you want, if it means that you are going to like what you guys do in the bedroom! From the biting to the dirty talk, he is up for anything!

I choose Sakyo to be your A3! boyfriend! Sakyo will see your shy and quiet persona and think nothing much of it, but once you get comfortable around him, enough so that your inner weirdness comes out to play, he will be surprised that you were hiding such a fun and cheerful person away from him! He will also like the fact that you are passionate about science and education, since Sakyo himself is definitely one to go to science for something that can’t be explained, and he is one to like education too, since it gives you wisdom on subjects you didn’t know about before! He will love the fact that you love his culture so much, from the anime to the actual history of Japan. He will feel that you super educated on the subject, and will be appreciative of how much you love where he is from!
Sakyo will find it adorable that you love animals, and he find it admirable that you want to become a marine biologist! It is a hard job, learning about all kinds of animals, and then discovering new ones! Yeah he will find it very impressive! And if you were to ever tell him that you want a dog or some kind of really cute animal, he will never able to say no to you! So you should use that to your advantage! As for video games, he isn’t one for the, but if you ever try to get him to play with you, he will have a hard time saying no! It will frustrate him though, that you’d keep beating him at all of them!
As for appearances, I feel Sakyo wouldn’t care about what you like, it’’s all about what is on the inside, and when he sees that you are a passionate, loving, caring, a mother figure to your friends, loyal to them, and empathetic to the people around you, he will just know that you are the person for him! Seriously, yeah he might like your curvy body, but what will really give make him like you is the fact that you are just a really nice person for people to be around! He will definitely understand the sentiment of having just a few close friends, than having like twenty acquaintances.
Sakyo will love the fact that you’d rather focus on your studies than have a boyfriend that could distract you from your future career! He would be glad to wait for you to accept him, until you are stable in your career and would be able to start dating you like he wants! And for a little spicy time, he would be a dominant as all hell. Like he would be so into dirty talk and taking you to heaven with his mouth. You might tell him you want to some like spanking and biting, and he might be into the biting, but the spanking makes him feel a little weird, so he might do it as often. But! If you ask, him he will have no reason to say no! So you better have fun with him!

I choose Iwaizumi as your Haikyuu boyfriend! Much like Sakyo, Iwaizumi will see you shy and timid demeanor and think nothing of it, and if anything, he will think it is kind of cute, but would have an inkling that you are more than you put out. And once Iwaizumi sees that, yes, you are more than shy, that you have your weird quirks and can be quite loud, he will find you even more cute, what with the way you act around him and not the others! He will find it so cute that you only act like that with him and nobody else! And much like Sakyo, he will find it awesome that you like his culture so much! From the anime to the language, and everything else! He would even offer to help you learn the language and such, to help you better understand his culture! Iwaizumi love the fact that you like superheroes and practically anything fantasy! I suspect that Iwaizumi also love Marvel and such! I also feel like Iwaizumi is extremely good at video games, so when he plays with you, make sure you try your best to win against him!
Iwaizumi will feel a bond with you being like the mom friend, since he has to constantly watch over Oikawa like he is his child! And for appearances, much like Kiba, I feel as though Iwaizumi will see your blemishes and your curvy body and think it is just uniquely you! Something that he associates with you alone! And the uniqueness will definitely get him to really like you! But I feel like he will really like girls in glasses so that is a definite plus for you!
Iwaizumi will love the fact, like the others, that you are a loving and caring person. Someone that is passionate and driven! And the fact that you have all your plans thought out and organized in your own way? Oh yeah, he would definitely like that! And the fact that you are so passionate about your future that you’d much rather focus on that instead of being in a relationship! He’d understand, would he hate that fact that he has to wait for you to be stable in your career? Yes, he wouldn’t like it one bit, but he wouldn’t leave you because of it! Will he wait for you? Most definitely!
For the spicy stuff, ahahahaha Iwaizumi. He is like. A dominant bottom, he’s okay with essentially whatever you want to do, as long you both are having a good time, and you guys are feeling good! As for the biting and the spanking and all the kinky things you want to try out, he’d be into it, he’d just wouldn’t know how to go about it, so it would be a learning experience for the both of you! In the end, Iwaizumi would be into a lot of things you guys tried! So beware what he has in store for you in the future!
