If you want some other game recommendations from a huge gamer that is NOT Hogwarts Legacy, I got you bc we do not support antisemitism or transphobia.

Full disclaimer: If your advocacy goes as far as for Trans and Jewish voices to fall on deaf ears about a VIDEOGAME?!? Then, you were never an ally to begin with.

But, as a videogame lover and player, I will make other recommendations for you to play if you really need a good game that will support the rights of other people and is not built on hate!

If you really want a wizard game:

Play Skyrim and Eldan Ring! Those are two great open-world/build your character/magic games that don’t center around magic but have magic nonetheless! They actually have more spells and than this stupid game centered around wizards! Plus, they both have HUGE open worlds that will take (I promise) hundreds of hours to play and explore.

Play the Witcher!!! Although I have not played it, my sister raves left and right about the Witcher 3! It’s a choice-based, super long, world-heavy game that just immerses you in both magic and spells from the get go! Although not a ton of spells, it’s a timeless game and WAY ahead of it’s time.

If you really want a choice based game:

We literally got Cyberpunk a few years ago! It has amazing features for custom characters and fun armor to mix and match. It also has a choice-based storyline and multiple endings based on the choices you make/categories of your personality you update! What’s also so great about this game is it naturally has great representation. I’ve never seen a game that has NPCs have a set sexual orientation and won’t stray from it: if you are a straight man and hit on the lesbian, she will TELL YOU she’s a lesbian. It’s very interesting and also have trans representation and her personality is not just her being trans. It’s compelling. So, play this game!!!

Another set of great choice games is the Life is Strange series! Although not open world, every choice you make impacts the ending/relationships you have with different characters. There is also GREAT LGBTQ+ rep in every game they produce. The first time I played these games, my brain chemistry changed.

The walking dead series is an AMAZING choice-based series with a lot of representation. Although not open world and depressing(lol), it is a super immersive experience and has your heart rip in half for the characters. In the last game, especially, we see a more immursive and creative fighting techniques that just made you binge the game.

Another great game (that isn’t exactly choice but has an interesting way for you to interact with the world based off the way you want to explore) is Disco Elysium. You get to choose how/why/when/where you interact with the world and people. I have literally never played a game like this and my jaw dropped when I started. I could NOT put it down. The clock ticks throughout the day so you need to be careful about what you do with the amount of time you have. EVERY relationship will unravel another part of the mystery going on throughout the game. And, it’s very intense, fun, and full of philosophical shit that just makes you excited. Plus, you can tell it was made with so much dedication and care.

Fallout 4!!!!! This game is super underrated now a days, but is it worth playing! You can customize your character and choose who you side with/who you kill/who you save/who your friend are/what clothes you wear/what weapons you weld. Like, you cannot ask for more out of this game!! And, the world is HUGE and filled with such intricaticay. I cant rave about this game enough.

Persona 5! This is one of the best games I have ever played in my life! Like Disco Elysium, you only have so much time throughout the day to complete tasks and your relationship with peers/the skills you have are gotten from that time. So, if you choose not to hang out with someone or do homework or whatever, you could not max different parts of your personality/combat techniques. Is game is also in part a choice game, where you get to choose which route you want your narrative to be. Super fun! Also, this game has super fun turn-based combat that just leaves you on your toes! It’s super fun and super immersive and super HARD. It will take you a hundred hours to play.

If you want an immersive open-world:

I already named a few up there, but I haven’t mentioned the Horizon series yet, which is just fantastic. Both games have HUGE open worlds and a great amount of representation that just comes so easy to it and feels so natural. It’s not forced or random or anything: it’s right and natural and not a HUGE deal. It also has very immersive worlds with quite a lot to do. Although Horizon Forbidden West only has about 28 hours of the main story, it took me 80 hours to complete it because that’s just how huge the world was. Plus, the lead character, Aloy, has so much depth and interesting tidbits about her that you KNOW the game was created so much love and care. Also, the face expressions are so real and beautiful, it literally brought tears to my EYES

Red Dead Redemption 2 literally has one of the greatest open-worlds of all time and y’all are gonna play that shitty wizard game 😭?? It’s SO intimate and fun. There are times where you’ll be stopped to do a side mission and, if you die, you can’t go back to do it! I can’t say enough about this game because im sure everyone has heard it already but it’s emotional, FILLED TO THE BRIM with character depth, and super goddamn fun.

We all know about Breath of the Wild, but if you haven’t played that yet and are choosing to play Hogwarts Legacy, what are you doing ??

And just other GREAT games:

All the Batman Arkham Series games are INCREDIBLE. They literally were the stepping stones to other great games and was one of the first to introduce such an interesting half-open world concept. They fighting and stealth is ridiculously fun, and I have replayed these games so many times!

The tomb raider games are FANTASTIC. Filled with puzzles, stealth, and fighting, you cannot milk out more from this game. Plus, you okay as the incredible Lara Croft, who is such an interesting character.

The Last of Us?!? Such great representation! And what great character depth! You can see the love that goes into this game and what it means for the people that create it. Although a linear game, it does not necessarily feel that way because of the amount of exploring you are forced to do. This is one of those rare games where crafting does not feel like a chore, but an immersive and anxious experience. Both games are perfect!!!

Mobile Suit Gundam: the Witch from Mercury. - when ppl say its Utena in space is bc thats exactly what it is lol. this past season has brought a lot of good entries but this one is the jewel of the crown OO jesuschrist. Gundam is a franchise with more than 30 years of history and for the first time a female protagonist and also the whole argument revolving a gay love story. as a longtime Gundam fan myself saying that i was excited af is an understatement. on top of that the story is SO FUCKING GOOD! the animation, its dark undertones, THE GAY, like holy fuck. and this is only season 1 of what is gonna be IMO the best anime of the season and all the seasons to come.

17. The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady. - another gay isekai bc thats like the new normal lmao. this one just started airing but its so good lmao purely gay and funny af. go watch it right now! i have read the manga and the novels and you won't be disappointed. lol very worth it!

ill say, its kinda funny youve got 2 aus where Lilith just ends up taking care of a young Hunter cuz Wow You Really Like The Idea That Much (the "when all the characters you like follow a pattern" kind of funny.) but I am also obsessed cuz...the idea of Lilith with a child is fascinating, especially with Hunter. She's already so exhasperated with Eda's childish endeavors as it is, and she seems to not be..exactly good with children per se? (the times weve seen her interact with children at least.) And she also doesn't hold Hunter in high regards and so the idea of "What if Lilith raised him when he is but a small child?" is so entretaining and I think your Vampire AU explores it in a great way!! Like shes mildly annoyed at all times but its bc shes tired and hungry and stressed out and shes also in the position of basically raising him and she knows she should be gentler with him but she cant, and thats so very Lilith. Like such a very close to canon protayal of her.

ahhh!! please dont apologize i love talking about lilith and esp that vampire au lol. and it's actually a worry of mine that people think i don't understand lilith or am mischaracterizing her, simply because i happen to draw tender things!! (i say this because i don't see lilith as a very tender person, not naturally.)

thank you for saying that about my vampire au wheeze, cause i try very hard to use that au for that!! she's pretty rough with him because she's in this position where she's forced to care for something that is both a child and a predator to her. like he can literally kill her dead. but she was also a very solitary person prior to finding him and i really like thinking about her coming to the decision not to kill him and taking him under her wing. lilith is not heartless and we see that she has a conscience about others, particularly when she's not in competition for something. (when she was younger and shared pain with eda, when she hugs eda and tries to comfort her when she's crying about luz being so young and involved in all the chaos.) but she's not maternal, she's not naturally tender as an adult, she's not someone who's had to think about caring for another living thing, she thinks selfishly. she's someone who's had her focus on herself, hiding, feeding, keeping herself going all these years. and in the au, in hunters case, i kept him as an isolated character that hadn't experienced a caring guardian or parent and even though lilith is not very good at it, he doesn't know any better because of that and because he's so young. so it's almost like lilith has room for error and to build their relationship as she is because hunter just doesn't even know.

sometimes i think about the part where lilith shields luz from the stone sleeper. she throws her entire body over her, but it's all while saying ''eda is going to kill me, eda is going to kill me." this isn't to say she doesn't care about luz, but her drive to protect her is for her sister. she doesn't... like, she doesn't naturally have this instinct to be a guardian. WHEEZE, so it is the most fun and greatest of my past times to think about lilith parenting hunter in different aus. lol. I LOVE IT!!! i love her and i love him.

before i get going too long with this i'll just say thank you again and im so happy and glad that people like the aus so much. i have a human au i am really interested in sharing because it's just so cute. it's lilith with a BABY so it's very interesting to think about it all. im a little shy 'bout this one but we'll see how it goes.

i'm also going to use this ask to clarify that i don't just shove lilith and hunter together this way cause i like the idea. of course i LOVE the idea, but i do think about it as thoroughly as i'm able to, and because i love lilith (and hunter) so much, exploring her character in depth is something i just love doing. i think about her so much rip.

Still cant get over what Marinette did to Chat in Hacksan

Dont you just love how Marinette in Hacksan has desensitized Chat Noir to the dangers of someone actually may ending up stealing her Miraculous an using it to get closer to him by posing as Ladybugs replacement she herself chose? Yknow one of the most, if not THE most, likely an vital dangers of their partnership an yet here we are. Adrien was jus made to morally declare LB above his safety and rights as her partner bc if Marinette were to be asked to meet any kind of normal standards in their partnership feminism apparently gets set back 100 years.

Marinette made sure tha in the case someone actually gets her Miraculous an went to meet up Chat the way Scarabella did hes now 90% more likely to not question it anymore, as long as the villain has smart enough of an explaination that includes Scarabellas absence. How nice that Marinette doesn want Chat miserable or wants him dead, she still made sure that hes much more likely to end up walking into a deathtrap now.

And I hate how obvious it is that the show will never ever challenge Marinettes messed up actions in Hacksan that in any normal show with any NORMALLY written main character would be forshadowing for their partner falling into exactly THAT trap now in the next season. But nooooooooooooooooooooooo. Its Marinette so we cant have normal writting bc thats “misogynistic”. Ok so

I did like the idea that Henry killed Jack bcs he walked in while he was murdering kids. And that Dee managed to get away but was still injured. I like that I think its neat

I think the biggest thing about puppet Jack is that he wouldn't stuff any kids. He wouldn't have a reason to - he'd just go "Sucks they died" and move on with his life. He never made a promise so he doesnt care

And THAT is interesting to me bcs iirc Henry specifically made the puppet so Dee would be able to stuff children. But This fucker doesnt want to and now cant be framed for any murders bcs he's dead. So I imagine it'd end up as a SL situation where Henry would electrocute Jack whenever he refused to do as told. Sept Jack is a dickhead so I doubt it would work? Like yeah he'd be in immense pain but he'd still stubbornly do nothing only bcs Henry is annoying.

So I imagine in this au Henry either wouldn't die or if he does, it'd just be Jack killing him bcs he's had enough of the torture.

As for Dave. I think he'd be scared of Jack until he finds out he has nothing against him. So they'd be chill. In fact, he might even try to drag Jack into different Freddy's locations just to hang out w him and/or ask him to kill kids together. Now. Dee. I think there's a lot of interesting things you can do with her. And a lot of it stems from the fact she's a child. A lot of media (including the fic i read) would just. Make her an adult and have her do stuff then bcs she has more freedom. But thats exactly why I think leaving her still young is so interesting - how does she go around her lack of freedom?

So. I think her initial motive would absolutely be trying to get justice for everyone that's died. So far it'd just be two kids and Jack but that's still a lot for a 6 yo lol

Anyway. I cant imagine her not seeing the puppet. She'd find him eventually and he'd recognize her. So that's how she would learn that dead people possess robots!!

its a bit of a long one btw, so apologies for thwt. i am very much open to ideas and suggestions for developing this little. interpretation? au? whatever you might call this. feel free to play around with him as u like hes not my oc :^] just a fun idea

DESIGN NOTES:

i want to make it clear most of the design stuff is bc i thought it was cool. then i bullshit my reasoning behind it. remember this.

i also dont know how exactly to organize this so smth more lore related might be in the design section and vise versa. i dont care enough to make this better

also design is still very subject to change because i enjoy constantly fiddling with things. fun! might update if its different enough.

uses mostly reds/purples to directly complement athetos's greens and blues. trace takes comfort in this, for the most part.

just a fun idea but i rhink its neat to have traces Not Human-ness be biological, to contrast with indras being entirely technological/robotic. adds to their parallels. (and both of them being physical at all is a parallel to hammond being fucking dead /j)

wonder why his mouth has those faint marks at the corners? because it can do this now!

why you might ask? i dont know. ask someone else. i thiught it was cool. the orange line on #3 is supposed to indicate where his mouth normally wouldve ended. so he has a wider mouth technically!

hes much more movement based now! since this also acts as a fun idea for what if in a future av game(s) we got gameplay that was even more abt the movement. so hes pretty good at parkour now. specifically climbing. ive been imagining he moves a lot like u do in celeste, except probably more stamina and faster climbing. less focus on dashing. but he can air dash too!

*RING RING* "oh fuc- OWWAA" I screeched as I fell out of bed. *RING RING* I slammed my hand down on the alarm to shut it off. "goddamn." I said almost silently. I got up off the floor and made my bed. Thats when I realised it was valentines day! I have a date with zhongli and I look like a poop riden child! I ran to the bathroom and took a cold shower. It was so cold I literally sharted. After that I went to my closet to look for some nice clothes since our date was in 1 hour. I saw this brown and black and white box print dress in my closet. I wore it because I wanted to loook like i havent changed since the easter event. I went to the bathroom and did my makeup. Brown lipgloss. pink and red eyeshadow with a bit of brown and purple to make it look like i have a disease and pink eye (dookie in eye dont be an asspiker). I did some mascara and lots of hot pink blush so i can look dead. highliter on my nose eye corner cheeks eyes and a lil on my buhol.I ran to the front door and put on my ninja turdl socks and my paw patrol shoes. I opened my front door and locked up after i left. I got into my adorbs car. My car is a red car it is 4 ft tall and 3 ft in legnth. It has orange flames on the side and black stripes. I got in and started blasting... "IM A BAD BAD DOG!" and I have a billy fartgrove funkpop in my window aswell as vecnas bumhole printed on my lisence plate. My windows are fully tinted so no one can see me and I have a student driver sticker on the back of my car!

I buckled myself into my booster seat bc even though I am 18 I am 3'4 uWu. I looked at myself in the mirror and winked. I quickly backed out of my driveway. As i drove out of my trailer park I saw eddie munson twerking at me. I thought that was nasty. I worridly drived because my date starts in 15 minutes and it takes 1 hour to drive to the resturant he said to go to. Its called "dilucs tavern" anyways I drove at 200 miles per hour on the free way and i do not know why everyone honks at me. I rolled down my window and said "FUK U". I mean it is the "free" way right? anyway i drove and drove and after about 45 minutes i arrived. I saw the man from tinder crying through the window at an empty table. I quickly got out of my car and locked it. The sound to make sure I locked isssss..... *fart* Perfect. I walked into dilucs tavern and i was greeted by the man. "OH! Y/n so good to see you!" The man said. "Yeah! I'm so sorry I was late I um..... uh. I got stuck in.. traffic yeah." I said hoping he wouldnt realise my fatass actually slept through the 50 alarms i set. He smiled at me and handed me a menu. As I read through the menu I decided on "fart lard and turkey" from the menu. The waiter then asked me what I would like to drink "Hmmm. I will take a finger lickin poopy ass dookie as potatoe ass green dookie fart penis poop salad beer!" I replied. "Good choice!" the waiter said smiling. It was silent for about 3 minutes. Best 3 minutes of my life. "So uh. What do you do for work?" The man across me asked. "oh! uhm. uh.... well i- um i-." i didnt exactly know what to say. "Its okay if you cant tell me." he said looking quite sad. "No! Its fine! I'm a..... well um.... i clean poop out of old peoples butts at scaramouchers nursing home..." I said. I tried to scan his expression for any thoughts of strangeness but the man didnt say anything. He smiled. "I wish I had your job!" the man said. I laughed assuming he was joking. it was silent for a while till i decided to speak up. "you have any kids? and pets?" I said awkwardly. "Oh no! You know me I hate kids haha." the man said. I stared at him agressivly for a second because I have 10 p named children at home. I just laughed. he looked at me weird but then the waiter gave us our food and drinks.

"Thank you!" I said to the waiter. He looked.... fimiliar. wait. I stood up and got in his face. I pulled his face mask off as he said "MAAM PLEASE DUE TO COVID STAY SIX FEET AND DONT TOUCH ME!!!!" i paused.... "Y/n????!!!" The waiter said angrily! "XIAO????" I said even more angrily "OH FUK YOU" The xiao said to me. "YOUR GONNA GET IT NOW BITCH!!! I SCREAMED! "WTF!!!!" zhomgli said standing up now recording this.. "YEAH TAKE YOUR TOP OFF!!" some random man said from across the bar. I locked myself in the bathroom. I came out covered in blood. "WHERES THAT MAN!!" said zhongli. "I juST KiLled mY eX." i said zhongli threw something in my face it was a brown liquid "TF IS THAT!!!!" i screamed. "I STOLE POOP FROM YOUR SHOWER AND MADE IT INTO TEA BC IM LITERALLY YANDERE FOR YOU DADDDY!" ZHONGLI SHOUTED. "THA FUCCCCC!!!" I yelled "ALSO I KNOW YOUR A BIG FATASS I PUT A CAM IN YOUR BEDRROM AND SAW YOU SLEEP THROUGH 50 ALARMS!" He shouted again. I ran out the bar so fast got in my car locked it and started blasting "IM A BAD BAD DOG!" while driving out of the parking lot i saw eddie munson twerking at me again. "FUK YOU!" I shouted at him. Then he ran faster than the speed of light and jumped on my car denting my ceiling cuz hes so fat and he broke a window and got in with me "BOY WTF!!!!!" I screamed "PULL OVER!!" Eddie yelled. I did as he said. and thats when john stamos himself got in my car and started blastinf Taco farts! I laughed so hard ive never laughed harder in my life. Me and these guyes quirky lil guyes drove off into the sunset and I hope to never see zhongli ever again.

canon compliant character study where in the years after getou leaves, shouko and gojou work their way through the last pack of cigarettes he left behind... they smoke the first one when they clean out his room and they go back and forth on who actually keeps the pack bc they both say theyre gonna throw it out sometimes but they never do. gojou tries to smoke one but he cant and he thinks theyre disgusting and so he coughs until he cries but it's not bc he's sad no wayyy. another moment about the hc i have about getou giving shouko her work bag bc i am alwaysss down to be stupid abt my own hc hehe.. after getou dies frfr shouko wonders if they should throw the pack away finally bc there arent anymore cigarettes and gojou says there wouldn't be any meaning to that and shouko says maybe and then they both just stare at getou's corpse on the table for a bit before shouko leaves the room and they are left in silence..

Yes, exactly!! And im ok with that ship because I was really happy for f.trunks to find love after years of darkness and Mai is now a great person there (despite being a villain beforehand) who actively helps people survive (altho that timeline was destroyed so shsfsusg) and met this 30yo awkward man whom she first didnt know was the hero who killed the androids but he's always doing so much for everybody. I do dig that "we're both keeping the hope in a dystopia" dynamic

And it's also funny in a way considering pilaf's gang had a bit of fault on why the other z fighters remained dead bcs they wished on the dragon balls (to make them younger) before gohan reached it in their first fight with the androids (idk im sorry i like dark jokes like that). They could have used the wish to throw the androids out in space or have gohan get transported to new namek so he can wish the fellas back and regroup and make some plans or something. But because pilaf used it, the dragon balls were used for the year before piccolo (+kami) died sfsjsgsksis. That connection is funny to me idk.

I got side-tracked a bit but yeah. Present them being together is awful in so many levels to me, just terrible. I don't know why they're still letting that happen. Even right now when trunks is at most 16. But the future one is okay, i cant say the ship is high up in my list tho. I am afterall a denhanvi enthusiast (don't ask for content, I made nothing) and a gohan multishipper first. For trunks' generation, im more of a trumarten enjoyer.
