The cloak of protection project

//Things I am doing instead of drafts: This little project. But it's for a good purpose. Since I know there is sometimes negativity going around on different dashs for all different kinds of reasons, and because I know we all struggle with different issues now and then, either on our blogs or in real life; I decided to make this little project, especially now around the end of the year.

What is the cloak of protection project?

A simple and effective thing hopefully. By liking and/or reblogging this post (whatever you prefer), you'll sign yourself up for the list of people kept safely under cloak of protection provided by the red-haired emperor of the sea.

What does it mean?

It means you'll be under mine and Shanks' protection, which means I'm giving you permission to come into my inbox/IMs or tag me in a post whenever you feel the need to speak to someone, to vent or to hear some words of encouragement and positivity. I can't promise you to be available at every single time or that I always reply right away, but you have the word of an emperor that you'll not be ignored and that I'll get to you as soon as I am able to! You can also do these things on anon if you're more comfortable that way.

This project is open to mutuals only for now!

I have only one requirement in return and that is that you try your best to be kind to yourself and not put yourself down. Even if things may be rough right now, you remember that better days will come and remember that you are loved and special and unique and worthy of all the good things ♥

disabled trans person need help paying for food, necessities + shipping supplies for shop after being homeless for 6 months

hello, my name is equinox, i am severely disabled autistic trans person dealing with schizophrenia, PTSD, arthritis, hypermobile ehlers-danlos syndrome, degenerative disc disease and gastroparesis. i am a wheelchair and cane user. i am recovering and stabilizing after being homeless for 6 months; i just spent 2 full months living in a hotel paying $38/night. i have relocated into my apartment that i was waiting 6 months for due to the subsidized housing program taking forever to calculate my earned income

i just paid $307 for my deposit + prorated rent in order to move in, as well as a $20 electric bill and a $35 bill to get internet set up, which is required for my jewelry business. i also had i also currently need a lot of things in order to make my house livable including a bed and food, and being able to get to the pharmacy for my medications. right now i have no food in my home due to having to spend money on uber XLs to and from my motel and storage unit in order to get the few possessions i have like blankets and personal belongings. i lost a lot of my kitchen supplies when transitioning between staying with friends for a while

i have almost no money on me right now. i will be re-stocking my shop with new items later today, but for now I need help being able to afford my living expenses as well as being able to afford to ship my products out to my customers. thank you to everyone who has helped thus far you have kept me safe for 6 months. you can help me here:

Ko-Fi requeest for T! day 50!

(they gave me a couple ideas for the prompt too, one of them being a poetry read! i thought it might be cute if instead of snapping they did like. soft little howls)

The second part was extra as a v fun exercise! I think werewolves in general would have a lot of diversity in style and shifted/half-shifted forms so this gave me an excuse to play around with that :) thought I should include a werehyena bc that's the wolf substitute for the shape-shifters of African folklore (and *jaguars in south america, tigers in India, etc!)

Also in doing a little bit of research for Black werewolf characters I found this super cool werewolf comic I wanted to highlight by Michelin Hess, a Black author/artist! She has other work that you should check out too. In fact, feel free to shout out any of your favorite Black artists in the comments or tags! Disabled homeless trans lesbian artist in need; new items added to our Ko-fi shop!

We are currently homeless and living out of a hotel- I am spending $38/night every night that I'm here. I'm working with an apartment complex that is waiting for approval from the government to get me my unit. I still haven't been approved and I have been working with them since October. I am severely disabled with having autism, hEDS, fibromyalgia, schizophrenia, PTSD & other conditions. Even reblogging this post helps. We've added a lot of new items, we're very excited for these!
