ive come up with more plot for my lovers to enemies and then enemies to lovers ellabs fic idea. if you dont know what that is i talk about it here
i think that this would all take place on both their day ones when they see each other for the first time. i can envision abby being out on her run with mel and manny when the gunfire can be heard and they see the WLF chasing this girl and ordering her to be killed. manny would talk about how its the trespasser that everyone has been has been talking about, and how they're a kill on sight target. but when abby aims her weapon for a clear shot, thats when she realizes its her. her long lost girlfriend from when they were young teenagers that she was almost certain was already dead. ellie notices that its her too. they spend the moment in silence together, both bewildered. a gunshot rings, which would remind ellie where she is and what is happening, and thats when she takes that opening for her to escape.
the reason why i think it should happen on their day ones is because i think then abby's priority will shift from traveling across seattle to find owen to instead find ellie because what the fuck was that. why is my girlfriend from years ago that i just assumed died in a FEDRA attack is actually alive and why is she in seattle and why do the WLF want her dead? and when she gets back to the stadium from her patrol she sneaks out to go find her.
towards the end of seattle day 2 is when they finally run into each other and it would take place of the boat scene and instead ellie and abby will fuck in some random building bc i said so. ellie is just as bewildered that her ex is actually alive and not dead but she also can't help but be enthralled at her muscle growth and her build and things go one way and abbys fucking the shit out of ellie.(yes ellies a bottom in ellabs i dont make the rules) this would be so juicy to me because instead of the regular story of owen cheating on mel its ellie cheating on dina. and after waking up next to abby the next morning she realizes what the fuck she just did and she gets terrified and runs off, leaving abby to wake up alone, and she has to find her. again. is it just abby's thinking or did ellie get more stubborn the older she got?
ellies a fucking mess on her way back to the theater because she doesn't know what she did and why she did it because she has a pregnant girlfirend back at the theater waiting for her return. shes so distraught she can barley focus on getting back safely. but thats before tommy ends up running into her. tommy tells her all the intel he's collected on the WLF and shares leah's photocards he found and he points at a girl with a long blonde braid next to some man, explaining that that's the person who killed joel. and ellies eye's widened. abby. she did it. she killed joel. as if ellie's emotions weren't scattered around her brain now she's in a full out panic attack and feels sick and throws up. her girlfriend from years ago, one that she shared many laughs and dumb memories with, was the one to brutally murder joel.
abby's out looking for ellie once again, she's not letting ellie keep running away from her. especially not after what happened last night. on her journey she runs into manny. manny is asking her where the fuck she's been. the WLF have been looking for her, and isaac just assumed she went awol and became an enemy of theirs. but abby doesn't care. she wants to know why the girl they ran into on their run is shoot on sight. and that's when manny explains that these trespassers, who are not scars, have been hitting them hard. he tells her that these trespassers killed some of their closest friends. danny, leah, jordan, nora, owen and mel. (tommy ended up doing most, since ellie had other things going on, but she still contributed nonetheless). and now its abby's turn to feel sick. all this time she was out chasing for ellie to have some type of hopes of having her join them and be together again, finding out that she's here murdering her friends, but why?
abby, now seething, is still going to search for ellie. but not with the same idea she originally had in mind.
yall i need this fic to be picked up PLEASE. i cannot write series or develop characters to save my life. but i need to see this fic actually come to live its all i ask for PLEASE.

I have a lot of thoughts on how at the start of the backup, Lois has to hang up on Jon after Jon starts opening up to her, but then later we see Jay (who is equally busy to Lois and states he was on his feet for sixteen hours) stay on the phone with Jon until four in the morning just talking.
I think, as much as Clois are trying their best with him, they're not really quite equipped or even sure how to meet Jon's current emotional needs. Jay meanwhile always has walked the talk in terms of making sure Jon as he is now is loved and appreciated. From the very start of their relationship, Jay's made it clear that no matter if he's got his own stuff going on, he will make time for Jon.
It's very sweet, and I feel truly deeply reflects the fact that Jon is growing up, he's in college now, but very few people in his life are willing to accept that. Accordingly, his relationships with the people he cares about change, and shift in priority, which is normal for this period in a person's life. It's one of those things that happen when you get older and enter into a serious romantic relationship- they meet your needs more, and then accordingly they start to become the focus instead of your parents.
(On that note, it genuinely wouldn't surprise me if at some point in the near future, Jon moves into Jay's apartment or they find a new place together.)

I never write in the second person, but it seemed to fit, so 🤷
Ghost Rider Pacific Rim AU - Yegor Ivanov's edition
Say, you're in charge of security on a large, well-appointed quasi-military base housing twenty thousand people - mostly J-techs and their families, but also a sizeable assortment of soldiers, scientists, medical staff, relief workers and support crew. It's the most stable job you've ever had. The general populace is just so grateful for the giant robots you deploy to fight the ever-nastier demons crawling out of The Breach, you barely have to pay any attention to actual security part of it. Your subordinates haven't reported a single issue they couldn't deal with themselves in years. The eggheads fight between each other to secure your approval. You have the respect of the international leaders for keeping Hong-Kong off of their priority list. Somehow, in this beautiful, messed up world you managed to carve yourself out an existence most people can only dream of.
And you got there by making a hard decision once, ten years ago. Eli Morrow was a dangerous psychopath and once his usefulness ran its course, it was your responsibility to put him down. Sometimes, one man has to pull the trigger for the good of the many, and that day you pulled the trigger. Figuratively. It was a regrettable situation, but you don't really regret it, because you gave Eli every chance under the sun to pull himself together.
You said it broke your heart, to see what he did to his brother, but secretly you were relieved. You've done many terrible things together, before the monsters stopped being just men in a different uniform. You had a good handle on Eli for so long, you almost forgot that rabid dogs will bite their master's hand given half a chance. If it hadn't been poor Alberto, it would've been you.
You didn't believe for a second Beto's kids turned up on base purely by accident. Call it fate, or karma, or whatever you want, you can't pretend seeing a mirror image of a young Eli in your own damn hangar doesn't strike a chord deep in your chest. It's not a pleasant sensation.
You have no idea what their mother told them - she was smart enough to get out before all hell came loose, so maybe she was also smart enough to keep her mouth shut. The younger one is a non-issue, at least. You forgot he had the--the whatsit, some condition the medical was working on, the hook you had on the Reyeses to keep them on base. You should dig into the files, see if the same hook will work on the older one.
And you need all the hooks you can think of, because you fucked up. You panicked and figured, well, he doesn't know his old man's jaeger is a goddamn death trap kept only because it would be more expensive to take it apart. He doesn't know it killed every recruit to ever step a foot in it. And he's as sentimental as his father was, all wide-eyed at the sight of the machine making up a good portion of your nightmares.
Only Robbie Reyes is a little too much like his uncle, too, because he doesn't. Fucking. Die.
The whole K-Sci department is very excited, of course. The techs aren't. You should've timed yourself better, made sure Canelo and the rest of the old guard were off-shift when you brought Robbie to The Charger. Now they're watching your hands and lowering their voices whenever you step into the hangar. You can't make the problem disappear without someone starting to ask questions. You need to be smarter than that.
If you can't get rid of him, you must learn to control him. He's no Eli Morrow - and you kept a lid on that can of worms for nearly a decade, from boot camp through black ops to TJP. One scowling teenager is nothing. He needs a strong hand and a little misdirection, that's all.
He watches you too, though. Like he already knows. He can't--can he? How? Who would've told him?
That broken eye of his is tripping you up, that's all. A strong hand, and a promise of medical support for the younger one - you will have him asking 'how high' before the next demon is due.
Besides, piloting jaegers is such a dangerous job. Anything could happen out in the sea. You can live through another regrettable loss. You don't think you can live through whatever Robbie Reyes is planning when he looks at you like that.

CAP. VILLAIN AUS ARE LITERALLY MY FAVORITE THING EVER. THIS IS YOUR INVITATION TO INFODUMP ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING ABOUT IT 👀
>:)
One: you would like No Cause For Alarm by tisanes_and_tea over on Ao3.
Two:
(Edit: @flustered-flux here it is!)
Okay so the old Hero, known simply as King Hyrule (not the Chain member, he's a mix of all the kings we know of), died, and his place was taken by a bright up and coming hero with the rather unusual power of Malice manipulation and creation. His name was Ganon. Most of Hyrule saw him as a good man -- then again, they only saw what Ganon and the media let them see. But there were a few others, who saw the truth. And they began to oppose Ganon, becoming known as Villains.
The biggest and baddest of these Villains is The Fierce Deity: Time Lon, an orphan who grew up with the power to shift into the Fierce Deity. He's known for elaborate, hard striking heists, and is less well known for his morals concerning civilians and kids.
Well.
There are these kids/teens, who grew up with powers, and have been taken in by Ganon to become sidekicks for him and a few other "heroes". Some of them have families on the outside still, others don't. (See the HC list for who is related to who.) But this training is... not so much like training. Little do these "sidekicks" know, Ganon is only doing this on orders from his boss.
Well, eventually, the older brothers of the group (Sky, Warriors, Twi, and Legend) decide they can't keep doing this, it isn't right, and they need to get out of here now. The plan was to get Wind and Four out first, followed by the rest.
Their plan fails.
Wind is the only one to escape.
And Wind, in trying to figure out some way to get help for his brothers, and delirious from a fever, accidentally stumbles upon the Fierce Deity.
Time takes him home, and he and his wife Malon take care of Wind and help him get better. Time sees red when Wind tells him about how his brothers are still trapped there.
So Time, and Teba, and Malon all plan a heist. They're going to get those boys out, no matter what.
The heist goes surprisingly well, for all that the heroes are supposed to be good at this sort of thing. There are a few injuries, but those happened before the escape.
And Time takes one look at these boys and decides that they're his new priority. Being a Villain pays well, he can afford to take a break. So he and Malon take them all out to the ranch and try to help them.

Sorry if this is a dumb ask, but do you think that maybe Louis and Harry are actually comfortable in their closet by now? Especially regarding their relationship?
Hi sugar. I think it's important to distinguish between being "comfortable in their closet" and wanting to be private about their relationship. I don't think anyone wants to be closeted. All things being equal, I would imagine everyone would want to be able to live their lives freely. Harry and Louis could be out and still be private about their relationship.
All that being said, I don't think they have the same need they once had for the world to know they're together. Not that they're ashamed of it or want to hide that they're in a relationship, but my impression is that as they've gotten older and things around them have changed (family, careers, the world as a whole...), their priorities have also changed. I do think they ultimately want to be out, but it's possible that they've shifted the timeline as things have progressed. Obviously, all of this is just an assumption based on what I have seen and read.
I hope that makes sense.

Tej, my love! 💖💖💖 Can I pls get 17 & 36 for the writing asks?
P.S. ILY 🐝
Kay, you generous ladybug 🐞 Thank you for asking!
#17: Talk to me about the minutiae of your current WIP. Tell me about the lore, the history, the detail, the things that won’t make it in the text.
I gave Bri allie-verse for this question so I'll give you last train home-verse.
Bucky has an extremely boring office job that he's actually good at even if he doesn't want it to be a career (spoiler alert: it's already a career). He feels very stuck.
Meeting Steve actually starts getting him unstuck. He sees what it's like for someone to do something that they're passionate about and they love, and he starts thinking maybe he can have some of that for himself - even if he has no idea what to do yet.
Steve was an enjoyer of life. He fell in and out of relationships but it was fine because his priority has always been his art and making the most of opportunities. He rarely (if ever) keeps any of the stuff he creates for himself. The moment he meets Bucky, it's like something shifts and he realizes now there's something he wants to keep forever.
Bucky keeps his problems to himself because he doesn't like feeling like he's a burden, but the only person he ever tells anything to is his 2yo nephew, Matty. Probably because Matty doesn't try to give him advice or solve his problems for him.
Bucky loves being an uncle. He absolutely dotes on Matty. When Matty is older, Steve and Bucky take him to museums and art galleries. Steve and Matty both love art so they have lots to talk about and Steve eventually invites him to his art afternoons with Sarah Rogers.
#36: They say to Write What You Know. Setting aside for a moment the fact that this is terrible advice...what do you Know?
oh gosh, not a lot! I have lots of useless information on celebrity baby names. I also have background in publishing which I have a WIP somewhere buried that I'm not allowed to look at until next year at the earliest. I guess I also know a lot about swimming?

Meta + physical pain
Meta + emotional/mental pain
physical pain
Sombra can take it on the chin pretty well. She was a street kid for a long time, and then she was in a gang for the rest of her teen years, and then she joined Talon. She's taken a lot of punches, especially when she was younger and hadn't quite gotten to the point of technological savvy to be able to avoid physical altercations altogether. Her defiance is something unusual in the grand scheme of things. She can't really throw a punch to save her life, but she will take one and tell you that you hit like her sister.
That being said, she absolutely hates physical pain. Even if she can take it, she would rather just not experience any discomfort at all. If she doesn't have to, if her own life or the life of someone she cares about isn't on the line, she will do her utmost to avoid it. Other than the ache that comes with her running (she does do a lot of running, since getting way from people requires it and getting shot or punched or whatever hurts a lot worse for a lot longer), of course. A necessary evil.
Does someone need her help lifting something? Absolutely the fuck not (unless it would be absolutely impossible but rare is the case where her little noodly IT expert arms are that useful). Does she have to go into a dangerous area where her safety by virtue of invisibility and translocation isn't guaranteed? Then, no. Unless there is a lot of money on the line. When she's come down with some sort of sickness that causes discomfort or body pains, she's an absolute terror and will make her misery everyone else's problem, even if it isn't a big deal. The type of person to lay on the couch like they're on their deathbed and making miserable whining noises even though it is the mildest of allergic reactions.
Other than just not enjoying physical discomfort, there is a reason for that, though. She's never loved it but after joining Talon and getting to know exactly what kind of person Moira is, Sombra's developed something of a neurosis about having to be in her care. Frankly, Moira is terrifying - what she's done to Widow, to Reaper, that could possibly be done to her without her consent is something that has caused more than a few nightmares. Avoiding physical damage that she can't take care of herself is high priority. The more something hurts, the more the likelihood of her ending up in Moira's 'care' increases.
It's not like she can just go to any old hospital, being wanted by the law and having very distinct bodily modifications, after all.
emotional pain
Whoever said that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger lied.
It's just been a lot. She was orphaned at a very young age and that was awful. Not unusual in the grand scheme of things, especially in Mexico with La Medianoche, but the Omnic Crisis caused a lot of pain and death and loneliness all over the world. It's a particular agony that a lot of people share, and it's something she still carries with her - even though she's much older now, and she's grown around it and made connections with people since. There's just no replacing that, really. You build on top of it.
The events leading up to her leaving Los Muertos and having to isolate herself from her community are another old wound she continues to carry. After all, it's the fact that she discovered The Conspiracy - and worse, that it discovered her - that caused such an abrupt shift in what her path in life was supposed to be after she'd come to build something for herself in her youth. Not only was the rest of her family dead, but now she had to die too, after a fashion. Her identity, the last real connection she had with them, where they were from. It isn't really gone, she still is that person - she just can't acknowledge it in any public way. She's been on the run for over a decade and being isolated from your own history, your own culture, like that - it remains painful.
Moira's betrayal came about half a decade after that, and like everything else, it weighs on her. Moira was someone she really looked up to at first when she'd joined Talon. Another woman, and intelligent, and seemingly willing to engage with her, to push her. To find out that she was just being used in the end honestly broke something in her - especially with the cruelty with which she went about it. It wasn't difficult for Moira to ascertain how sick Sombra felt for her part in Widow's creation. The guilt's been eating away at her for years and part of her wonders if that was the point maybe. Being with Talon isn't exactly ideal for her, the resources are nice and she'd been desperate to keep away from The Conspiracy, but she could be elsewhere. Maybe. Other than the fact that her guilt ties her to them. She just can't imagine leaving the Widow there alone without her.
It's tough getting a therapist when you're wanted by multiple governments; kind of comes part and parcel with being a terrorist. Inspiring terror and all that. Her crimes don't really include murder but she's caused enough financial damage, spread enough secrets, dug up too much sensitive information, for it to be really feasible for her to just go tell someone everything. So her coping mechanism is kind of shit - she'll just get drunk once in a while and explode emotionally and then she's fine again. For a while. It's better now than when she was younger though - she'd been something of a pharmacy.

Being an agent of shield wasn't a bad job. It had its ups and downs, like any other job, but it was really cool when you could do the things you could do. Shapeshifting, controlling water, and flying were good skills to have when you were a spy. The downsides were when your friends got taken by the enemy.
"Barton's been compromised," Fury said.
"What? When?"
"Couple hours ago. I need you on the carrier. How fast can you be here?"
"Five hours. I'm on my way." You hung up the phone and took off into the sky, the mission you were on gone from your mind.
Fury hadn't said much on the phone and your mind was running in circles. Whatever was happening wasn't good at all. Shaking your head, you pushed yourself faster and made it to the carrier in three hours. Landing on deck, you made your way to the bridge.
"What happened?" You said when you saw Fury.
"Loki happened."
"Loki? Like Norse mythology?"
"Yes. He has a spear that controlled the mind of Barton and Selvig. It turned them against us."
"A magic spear brainwashed two of the smartest people I know? What are we doing about it? Do we know anything else?"
"Agent Romanoff is on her way with Bruce Banner and Agent Coulson is with Steve Rogers," Fury said, looking at the screen in front of him.
"The Hulk and Captain America?" You scoffed. "Sir, one of them turns into a rage machine and the other is misplaced in this time. What can they do to help?"
"I told you what I wanted you to be a part of. They're a part of it." Fury gave you a look and you sighed before going and sitting at the table and pulling up the file searching for Clint.
It didn't take long before Nat came to the bridge with Rogers and Banner in tow. The carrier was in the air and you were listening to the hustle and bustle around you.
"Dr. Banner," Fury said. " You've already met Agent Romanoff. This is Agent Porter."
"Nice to meet you," you said, getting up and shaking his hand.
"Likewise, Agent Porter." He looked at you. "Are you a spy too? Like Romanoff?"
"Yes and no," you said.
"Agent Porter here has abilities," Fury said.
"Abilities?" Steve said.
"Yeah." You shifted into Nat and watch the confusion on their faces before turning back into yourself. "I can also fly and control water."
"Holy shit," Banner said.
"How can you do that?" Steve asked you.
"I was in the wrong place at the wrong time," you said. "Got caught in an experiment gone wrong. Twice."
Bruce gave you a look of understanding before turning to Fury.
"How long am I staying?" Bruce asked.
"Once we get our hands on the tesseract, here in the wind," Fury said.
They started talking and you tune them out, going back to the computer. Loki was a second priority for you until you got Clint back. You nodded to Nat as she left to take Bruce to his lab and it was only minutes later when someone got a hit on Loki.
"Captain, you're up. You too, Porter," Fury said. "Show Rogers his uniform."
"Yes, sir." You gestured for Steve to follow you and took him to a room.
"Everything you'll need is in here. Meet me back at the bridge when you're ready."
"Understood."
You walked a couple doors down and opened the door to your room after entering the code. You make sure that you had your weapons and that your suit was in good condition before changing. The suit was made specially for you and it was able to change along with you when you shifted and still covered your face. Sighing, you took one look at yourself before leaving the room.
"Porter, Romanoff is going with you. She'll pilot the jet and be back up for Rogers. You're going to see if Barton is anywhere close. It's unlikely, but possible," Fury said.
"Got it."
---
By the time you made it to Germany, you knew that Clint would be gone. Still, you had hope. Loki was still there and as Steve took him on, you flew around and looked for any sign of your friend. When you saw two men laying dead with arrows sticking out of their chests, you landed next to them.
"Fury, he was here," you said. He yanked one of the arrows out of the man and looked at it.
"Are you sure?"
"Positive. These are his arrows." You drop the arrow when you saw a doorway that was open. Walking inside, you notice the compartment open. There was nothing inside.
"Iridium," you muttered. "Why do they need Iridium?"
"I'll talk to Dr. Banner. You get back to the square. Loki's in custody."
"Copy that." Furrowing your brow, you left the room and flew to the jet.
"Porter."
You groaned and rubbed your temples when you heard Stark behind you.
"Stark," you said curtly. "What're you doing here?"
"Director Fury invited me. Thought I'd help out. Where were you when the Captain here was getting his ass kicked?"
"He was doing just fine," you said with a snort. You walked over to Nat and told her what you had found.
"We'll find him," Nat said. "We have to."
"I know. But I'm worried."
"Hey." Nat took your hand in hers. "He'll be fine. It'll be back to normal soon."
You gave her a smile and squeezed her hand. Walking over to a seat where you could keep an eye on Loki, you made yourself comfortable. He kept his eyes on you until thunder and lightning came from nowhere. Loki broke eye contact to look out the window, worry and a little bit of fear in his eyes.
"Scared of a little lightning?" Steve asked him.
"I'm not overly fond of what follows, " Loki said. You shared a glance with Natasha, knowing exactly what was going to happen next. It was confirmed when Thor landed on the jet and came inside, taking Loki with him. Tony was quick to follow and while Steve put on a parachute, Natasha tried to get him to stay inside.
"You coming?" Steve asked you.
"No. I'll stay in here." You winked at him. "I'll go when you need help."
Steve jumped and Nat turned to look at you.
"They're going to need your help. Thor knows you."
"I know. I'm just going to let them duke it out before I go down there. Too much testosterone for me."
Natasha laughed softly and after a few minutes you flew to meet them. Steve had stopped Thor and all three of them were lying in the dirt.
"You guys done comparing sizes?" You said as you landed in front of them.
"Porter?" Thor said.
"The one and only. Now, if you're done, go get Loki so we can take him to the helicarrier," you said.
"Fine." Thor took off and you turned to the other two men.
"Natasha's hovering up above us. The hatch is open." You took off and they looked at each other.
"I guess I'll give you a ride," Tony said. He grabbed the back of Steve's uniform and flew back to the jet.
---
Back on the carrier, you went to the bridge.
"So you know him?" Steve asked you.
"Yes. I met him a year ago. So did Coulson and Selvig. There was a situation in New Mexico."
"Have you met Loki before?"
"No," you said, shaking your head. You sat down next to Natasha. Fury was talking to Loki and you glanced at Bruce when Loki made a jab at him.
"He grows on you, doesn't he?" Banner said sarcastically when the video feed shut off.
"Loki's gonna drag this out," Steve said.
"Thor, what's he going to do?" You asked.
"He has an army. The Chitauri. They're not of Asgard nor any world known. He means to lead them against your people." Thor turned and faced everyone. "They will win him Earth for the Tesseract, I suspect."
"An army from space?"
"So he's building another portal," Bruce said. "That's what he needs Erik Selvig for."
"Selvig?" Thor looked at you.
"Loki brainwashed him. I'm sorry," you said.
"Along with one of ours," Natasha said.
"Why did Loki let us take him?" Steve said. "He's not leading his army from here."
"We shouldn't focus on Loki. You could smell the crazy on him," Bruce said.
"Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard. And he is my brother," Thor said.
"He killed eighty people in two days," Nat said.
"He's adopted."
You bit back a laugh and got up, needing to stretch your legs. When you saw Tony walking into the room, you rolled your eyes. He started speaking and you looked at Natasha, telling her to catch you up later. She nodded and you left the room. You walked the halls of the carrier, lost in thought until a boom shook the ship and an explosion ripped a hole right where you stood.
"Fuck!" You yelled. It took a second to right yourself but you managed to fly back onto the ship.
"YN! Are you okay?" Thor said as he came running up to you. His nose was bleeding and he was all sweaty.
"I'm fine. Everyone else?"
"Yes. I'm going to Loki, to make sure they don't release him.
"I'll go with you."
The two of you ran towards Loki's cell. When you got there, Loki was being let out. Thor yelled and ran forward before you could stop him. As you suspected, it was a projection and Thor went right through him. You cursed under your breath as someone brought a knife to your throat.
"Are you ever going to not fall for that?" Loki said. You were dragged over with a grunt, the knife cutting into you slightly.
"If you do anything at all, I'll slit her throat." Thor set his hammer down and you were shoved into the cell with Thor.
"Are you alright?" Thor asked you quietly.
"Yeah." You touched your neck and saw a little blood on your fingers. Before you could say anything, Thor hit the glass with his hammer. The cell shook and you knew that you were fucked.
"The humans, they think us immortal," Loki said with a laugh. "Shall we test that?"
Loki was about to press the button to release a cell when the guard with him fell with a grunt. Looking over, you saw Coulson standing over him with a giant gun.
"Move away, please," Coulson said. Loki stepped away from the control panel and Phil came closer. You were tense, knowing that you wouldn't be able to do anything to help. So when Loki stabbed Phil, you cried out.
"No!" You yelled, dropping to the floor. You didn't even notice Loki press the button until you were floating in the air.

Do you think any of bts will ever announce they're in a relationship if they have a long-term one? At least while they're still an idol? Given how the fandom reacted to jennie I somehow doubt the boys will ever feel comfortable with putting their partner through that at least while they're still in the spotlight, but also maybe the fandom reaction would've been better if it was officially announced
At some point in our life, the priorities can change. For some people, including celebrities and idols specifically, starting a family is something they can want. They may keep that private in their 20s when their focus is solely on their career, but after military service, things can shift as that part of their life and reaching a certain age can have a significant influence. And if fans of men who are adults are not capable of understanding that, then they need to reevaluate their life. Partners shouldn't be kept secret, especially when the idol is not some young boy made out to be the perfect boyfriend for teenagers around the world.
Fans should grow and mature along with the group they stan. Some of them will get married, some of them will have children. Some of them might not. But let's not fool ourselves that revealing a partner is something out of the equation. BTS or any idol group is not just a machine that needs to run smoothly and constantly present themselves as some chaste boys ready to be infantilized. As much as K-Pop relies and creates that type of mindset, looking at other idols who are now older, they do seem to have enough agency in their life. As it should be.
Officially announced or not, the kids will cry, as well as the adults who are emotionally dependent on a music group. They will go through the five stages of grief and some of them will only believe it's fake and made up. But that's their issue.
This entire dating problem and how it can continue even when the idol is not in the spotlight has been created by the industry which plays into the fans' obsession. But usually, even the teenagers grow up, get settled in a life of their own, have a partner or get fullfilment somewhere else and stop relying on a group of men as a single source of happiness. And that's how things can calm down by the time the idols get older and the marketing strategy also changes with the times.

On Vegas and Porsche
Not going to lie, I've found out more about VegasPete's story especially Vegas's arc and I'm destroyed and in pain, and in tears because Vegas is a character that is really amazingly written, there's a reason for why when we first meet him in episode 2: it's 3 scenes. In these scenes his whole arc and focus on what makes him, him and foreshadows what his role is, his purpose is and why he does he what he does is exposed. The first one when he himself shows interest in Kinn's body guard, this is all about his on the surface ambition to find out about Kinn's weak spots and know his targets but also it foreshadows his future interactions and interests with KinnPorsche and his own desires and pain during those moments. We can see hints of him being the villain from that first intro, he's steeped in green ( a color of danger) and he is hidden, ominous in his order but that's why we don't see his face because it's a mask, it's not who he's really meant to represent in this show, yes he's a villain but there's more to this hate and obsession to over power his cousin. The next time we see him breaks me when we actually see his face for the first time, it's connected to Macau and his protection and anger for Macau getting hurt.
I've always said even before knowing what I know now, that Porsche and Vegas mirror each other in their 'introductions' when it comes to what their goal, story line and aim is. The protection and safety of their brothers from the environment that they're forced to adapt in. Porsche's tattoo is a call back to his mum no longer here ,leaving him with the weight of having to stay alive to protect his brother despite the fact that there are moments that Porsche admits himself to wanting to run away and give up and stop fighting, but for his brother he endures the pain he has and smiles and acts differently on the surface to be an emotional pillar. When we're first introduced to Porsche and what makes him, him, it's him comforting his brother and making him smile and letting him go to uni and achieve his dreams, working shifts and fighting and being strong to make sure his brother is protected and shielded.
Vegas is the same with Macau. And we are introduced to a hint of how that might be even though he's meant to be sneaky and cruel you can see when Macau is hurt, he runs into his older brother arms and seeks safety and care from him, and Vegas shows anger, and annoyance and protection. This already shows you who Macau feels safe and warm with, who he gets that from. This is one of his priority, this is very interesting how both him and Porsche both without a mother have brothers that are a bit more childish, and pampered by them despite how the environment looks. You can see that Macau feels spoilt and entitled, while Vegas is more focused on power, responsibility and ambition, and that's because like Porsche, Vegas has had to endure pain and loneliness, and fear to keep his brother safe and secure, and loved. To still feel confident and hopeful, and pampered despite the way their family is. Despite the fact that there are moments when Vegas wants to give up on everything, where he detests himself and also watches himself become cruel and a monster when he doesn't actually want to be.
Vegas like Porsche has no choice on his life; it's all about the protection of his little brother, and that's something that we are giving hints to in the episode he's introduced to. But instead of being an emotional pillar where he's smiley and funny and hides and pretends everything is okay, Vegas instead has to become a monster to protect his brother, he has to become cruel, lifeless, emotionless, and aggressive just to ensure his place isn't taken and his brother doesn't have to deal with the circumstances and consequences of failure, because there are consequences. And this leads to the last scene we see with him also foreshadowing what is causing his priority and ambition, his dad. His dad forces and gives him no choice in the matter to keep an eye on Porsche, even when he asks nicely, his father speaks to him cruelly. Vegas is seeking his father's approval and that's important, the green soaked background suggests the danger Kan possesses, and the fear in Vegas's eyes as well as the lifelessness in his eyes as he speaks to his father, the yearning in his voice as he calls him dad shows a little bit about their dynamic.
Kan is cold, cunning and cruel, he cares about power, and he cares about taking it and being aware of when it's being stolen. And Vegas is his pawn very similar to how Kinn is the pawn of his father. The scene is cold and the way it's filmed shows you how much their relationship is not filled with comfort and care and warmth but actually Vegas is forced to deal with this, but Macau doesn't seem like someone who has come from this environment, he's more loud, free, childish, he seems more protected and cared for and naïve maybe not innocent but definitely sheltered away from this energy, he runs to his dad when he gets hurt and he moans, and Vegas is the one tending to his wounds and looks frightened and worried. Vegas is the one with the responsibility like Kinn from a young age to make sure that their family goals are achieved, to protect his brother from having to deal with that, and Macau shows that he doesn't have any connection with this world of mafia, and cruelness, he's just an annoying kid that lies and is spoilt, and rich and selfish. He's snobby, he misbehaves and doesn't speak with caution to anyone. He's confident in his power but with a father like Kan; that's suspicious, because it means someone else was providing him that warmth and care instead, that ability to feel like he's protected enough and free enough to say whatever he wants, to cry and show vulnerability, and power, and to feel spoilt and that's Vegas.
The layers of Vegas that is about to happen in this show is crazy, so much to unpack with him, one thing for sure is that he's a monster yes, he's horrifying and out of his mind, he's greedy and cruel but he's not selfish, he's not narcissistic, he's not just doing this for himself, he's doing this like Kinn and Porsche because he has no freedom, and the freedom he's using like Porsche is ensure his brother gets the freedom and happiness and protection instead like Kinn with Thankhun and Kim. Vegas is a monster, but he's not heartless, and he was made to form this mask, this wickedness, this aggressive dark personality in order to protect the one dear to him at this moment, and Macau is very important, likewise he also seeks power to please the one who refuses to give any warmth and protection. He seeks power to find meaning to his life, and find ambition to keep going, he steeps himself in hate and revenge and anger towards the catalyst of his misfortune and suffocation, and he doesn't know how to stop, because if for some reason he has to stop he'll think his life is a waste. And that's important, people don't notice how lifeless Vegas is because he hides it in cruelty and all the act of a villain but he doesn't want to be in this world, he doesn't want to be alive, he doesn't want to be born in this situation he's in but unfortunately he can't escape because if he does, Macau is affected. So something to process and think about as you watch this show when seeing Vegas's arc. Because I'm damaged from knowing about his characterisation and I think he's one of the best written BL characters ever.
There's a reason why Porsche and Vegas find a bit of solace in their interactions, they mirror each other a lot, they have a very similar background kind of, in terms of responsibility, and goals, and choices. Vegas however had no light/ kindness or love in his choice, and Porsche had something that made him more human. It's fascinating their arc and their story. And I can't wait to see it be exposed on the surface.

Is that really all you took from that? That your art is ugly and I'm accusing you of faking something? You're thinking of this in overly-simplistic terms, which I suppose I should have expected.
The things you associate yourself with are devistatingly unhelpful to your personal development and mental wellbeing. Call it whatever you want but "fakeclaiming" means nothing. It's real to you, which makes it real. But we can convince ourselves of anything at all if we want to, if we find it alluring in some way, or if it benefits us. We use the language we are given to build a narrative which ties us to the things we focus on. Shift your focus, change what you do, change your habits, develop your language, and you change the narrative- and thus, what you need to justify. Develop a solid sense of self and you won't have to come up with shit to compensate. If you stop surrounding yourself with people (online and irl) who prioritize munchausen and victim-complexes in attempt to dodge accountability for their own shortcomings and irresponsibility and underdeveloped life and social skills, with their priorities on things that are detrimental to their maturity while claiming they truly need to do so or else they'll suffer so immensely (none of these people know the first thing about suffering, I can assure you, based on how they're able to live such decadent lives sitting in their rooms drawing cartoons, e-begging, and writing about how they have little cartoon characters living in their head)... then maybe you can become someone with control over their life. Doesn't that give you immense hope? The knowledge that at any moment, you can in fact just step away, change your lifestyle, shift your focus, get an adderall prescription, get a job, and begin to concieve of yourself as a beautifully complex person with many aspects and facets to your personality and an overly-active and overly-immersive imagination, who loves to roleplay and create characters which represent different sides of your expansive personality, but gets lost in these roles a little too easily because you live an isolated little fantasy life where you're lacking any meaningful sense of responsiblity to others or even to yourself. You lack any sort of role in your real life in which you have any amount of control, and thus, you have invented new ones. It would be almost empowering if you had the mindset to stop viewing such powers of self-invention as a disability. But go ahead, respond with another doodle of your poorly-drawn mascot looking dumbfounded. I already know that until you gain any real and pressing motivation to change your mental frameworks, you simply won't. There's no pressure to change. It's comfortable, whare you're at, even if you feel as if you're truly miserable and pathetic, it's all you've ever known... And it's gotten you thus far, right? Think about what you could do if you invented yourself anew outside of your fantasies.... Moved away to a new city, built a new life, convinced yourself of your capabilities- or at least of your ability to accept failure as a part of growth. I know someone who grew up in a terrible situation, he had severe mental health issues, and was overly-invested in "DID" culture- with his main alter being an fbi agent from a piece of fiction. Someone helped him stop wasting his life drawing art of the fbi agent- told him that if he really sees himself as this character, then just do it. At least try. He stopped living in fantasies as the character he identified as, got into a good school, and now he's on track to becoming a very successful crime scene analysit- and he's not much older than you. He's a stealth ftm with a very bright future, and nobody knows about his past. Think about it. Your life could be the greatest piece of art you ever crafted. You have it in you, obviously. Step one: stop being cringe online. You're welcome.
you dont know me. you dont know anything about me. you dont know anything about my life. you dont know anything about the situation im in. and yet you still have the entitlement to give me some vague ass advice sprinkled in rude comments about my art looking like shit and practically calling me chronically online. think about it, you couldve spent all this time doing something more productive so heres some advice for you
step 1: stop giving life advice to strangers on the internet whom you know NOTHING about. your welcome

What do you like about season 12? :) I'm watching that one now.
SEASON 12 MY BELOVED!!!!! Okay SO individual banger episodes aside, my main thing would be how much I love how s12 leans into an ensemble in a way spn didn't really do before!! The brothers, Cas, Mary, Rowena, Crowley, Kelly, Mick, Ketch, Toni, even Lucifer (ugh) have an arc where they had some change throughout the season. We see everyone have their own individual emotions and motivations that ACTUALLY push the plot and each other forward, that ISN'T JUST WINCHESTER MANPAIN. And it was really fun and interesting to me!!
Like sure, Dean and Sam argue but they're not actively pitted against each other and we see a lot of sweet brotherly moments. S12 concluded with learning to let go of each other. Especially with Dean's whole life mission being about caring for Sam--with Mary back and almost losing Cas, his priorities have shifted, and this allows them to both let go and see each other as equals. I will forever think about the climax with the bmol where Dean and Sam willingly and encouragingly part ways; that would have never happened before. They grew so much in s12 to trust each other and have other people to care about so they could go in different directions. This was the beginning of Sam's leadership arc and Dean settling into domesticity and finding peace in both that we see into develop more in s14!!
I love that we got to see Mary on her own too! Bringing her back was a brilliant idea and they dismantled the pedestal as this perfect mother and show how she's a flawed human like everyone else and it was PERFECT. I love Mary and I love that we got to see the complexities of the situation she was in because her kids by now are literally older than her and they're in this life because of her and everyone she knows is dead, and how tf do you cope with that!!
And God, Cas my beloved. I think s12 was when Cas learned how much he meant to the winchesters. I know everyone is mad about how no one said I love you back to Cas and while I agree, I don't think he felt unloved. They called him family, which is so important to the winchesters, and they stayed and fought for him. Dean wasn't just willing to risk his own safety, he was also willing to risk Sam and Mary's for Cas. And same with Sam and Mary risking each other and Dean's safety for Cas. Cas still has issues with self esteem and we see him flail without having a purpose, he still struggles to see where he fits in but part of s12 is understanding how much he means to them and why by s14, he's says that they're a family!!
(I have my issues with how they handled the deaths of characters in s12, like a LOT of issues but I really did love what they did with the others!)
And none of this would have been possible without having more of an ensemble because we wouldn't see how they all act individual of each other and their actions wouldn't have had that big of an effect on the story. Even earlier characters like Bobby, while having a significant role in the show, rarely had motivations and actions that were conflicting or even that different from what the brothers wanted. But in s12, everyone has thier own personal agenda and sometimes they align and sometimes they don't, but it never felt like they were manufacturing conflict for the sake of conflict--it very much felt in character for each person and what they wanted!
So yeah, I absolutely LOVE s12 and could sing praises about it forever

I’ve also been grappling with coming to terms with who I am now and how and why that’s changed over time. do you feel like a lot of it is your priorities changing as you get older?
I feel like, personally, as my worldview shifts, my priorities and my interests and the way I go through life shift, and it’s something I’m always trying to understand better.
i think so- i mean, my priorities for a long time were just getting me to be where i am now. and so i think for the first time in years I'm having to rethink that all over again, figure out my next steps, work out where my rest points are, how soon they're coming, who is coming with me and where it is we're going. i think my worldview has remained relatively stable throughout my life (at least over the last decade or so), though obviously with increasing complexity. but i do think I've become more optimistic, and necessarily so (i don't believe in fatalism, or overt pessimism for the sake of it. i think we have to hope and to imagine, and without those things there's little left). i don't know what my priorities are now, really- not long term. short term obviously it's like: do my laundry; long term its likeL ensure my loved ones are safe and ok, ensure my body is comfortable and my space feels like home. but these are all harder things to work towards a lot of the time. the way i go through life has definitely shifted, though. i think i work towards navigating my life in ways that let me really focus on the small things, the swept aside, the dusty corners and the spiderwebs of my heart. i deliberately work towards a certain degree of romanticisation, ultimately because it helps me and also because i believe that to be alive is romantic, really. i am trying to move through life in ways that are deliberately care-full, gentle and kind. and i spend a lot of time thinking about the type of life i want to lead, and more time being frustrated that i cant live out all of the versions of myself that i'd like to put out into the world. i feel frustrated about the size and scope of my life, my limited capacity for giving. but i think I'm looking towards being ready for what's next- what is, at present, feels unfulfilling and i am always looking towards ways of curating/creating a life for myself that brings more joy (mary oliver again: joy is not made to be a crumb)

I just finished reading Chapter 7 of Grease. It turned out so good! I love how you handled the relationship between the two brothers. They're very different personalities, yet very similar. Josh I see as being the extroverted Alpha and Nick as the introverted Alpha (the Sigma).....but definitely both Alphas. I really hope to see more interactions between Josh and Nick as the story progresses (kind of like in Reclaimed) cause I think Nick really needs his big brother as much as Josh needs him. It would be really satisfying to see Josh and Nick join together and kick some ass.....damn! Hot Nick Summer, yes!!!
Yea exactly. Just like Reclaimed this is a rare opportunity to show Nick’s family dynamics.
(My absolute favorite fics have Josh in them. I think it was Lemons by @volaremos that has everyone driving Josh to AA meetings regularly - I can’t tell you how healing that was to read. I love Nick and Josh. I plan to center them heavily. There’s a 🔥 element ur gonna love too. You’re right they need eachother so much.)
The Blaine family dynamic I’m writing here is me my dad and my older brother.
Stoic loners- isolated and coping w pain they don’t talk about- but when it comes to protecting eachother and vulnerable ppl they are fierce and come together like a super hero squad.
Nick thought Josh was just out getting high and trying to get laid- nope. Josh was on security detail protecting young vulnerable girls from real predators. Actually kind of heroic.
Nick has been hiding in work and his angry thoughts - feeling sorry for himself - like a mayrtr right? Poor me I’m the only one keeping this family together etc. hiding in his misery. Numbing out in that as much as his dad uses television and Josh uses drugs. I like how they’re all addicted to different things - but really they’re all just self medicating bc they miss Nick’s mom.
Now that Nick knows June- and Josh is signaling that she’s in danger - Nick’s priorities are gonna change really quick.
What if he hadn’t been at that game? Are those jocks gonna go after her again? I think it’s a cool shift like we saw in the show from “just minding my business/ avoid attachments” Nick Blaine to “Holy shit there are literal sex predator monsters I didn’t know that was a thing but now I can’t un see it and I’ll spend every breath left in my body protecting her from them.”

A question I had for some time now is: how much the relationship between Henry and Addie would've last if Luc hadn't get involved and if Henry wouldn't have had to die at the end of the year?
For Addie would be a heavy tool on her mental state. I think the reason she managed to remain sane is telling herself she's free and focusing on that. How she could dissappear if one person/town was too much. She is shown to take advantage of her curse and bend it in her favor, despite still hurting her. But when she meets Henry's friends, she's breaking. She has to introduce herself a couple of times and that is something she always hated. How one person looks away, gets in another room and she doesn't exist for them anynore. That's why she struggles so much to keep the people with her as lons as possible. But she can't tie Henry's friends up when they're meeting. So it's painful to her.
She can stay home and let Henry meet with them alone, but that must hurt too. Not being able to fully share their lives with each other. Addie can't be on her own anymore since she's in a commited relationship, so she can't simply take without paying, but can't get a job either. It'd be like a 'secret girlfriend' and that never ends well.
As for Henry, he'd have to constantly explain things, to his friends, family, boss. And seeing his own mental health, that can turn stressful and bad real quick. He can't split his life in two, one focusing around Addie and the other around the big world. It doesn't work, not for long, and it's not sustainable. He can start feeling guilty and like she's holding him back in the long run, or she can start feeling guilty or like she's holding him back in the long run.
Besides, she won't age. Won't die. Henry will. And with age, people change. Addie'd be the same she was and is for centuries, a 23 yrs old woman, with her mind and heart wired accordingly, while Henry would get older, his priorities might shift, his thoughts and way of living might as well. The way he's seeing her too. The way she's seeing him as well.
That's why I think Addie needed Henry to remind her of her humanity and ground her in. To sooth a burning wound in her. While Henry needed Addie to show him how to live, to open his eyes to the many reasons he's worth it and to push him to relax and enjoy it whatever long it lasts. And they had to exit each other's lives because of how incompatible they are.
