okay so for the past two/three weeks i’ve been rewatching andi mack and there were so many random things i completely forgot about.: when we were first introduced to bowie, he was basically a vlogger and filmed EVERYTHING. another thing, cece’s obsession with that exercise machine thingy ? what happened to that? bex is also quite literally the funniest character in the show and needs more credit. WHAT HAPPENED TO BOWIE’S CAR AKA THE GREASE MOBILE. in season 2 when it’s revealed cyrus has a crush on jonah and he talks to buffy about it, it’s mentioned that his stepmom? knows about it. so cyrus is out to his family? or at least out to his stepmom/therapist.

idk if people ever post about andi mack on here anymore but it’s actually insane the emotional impact that show had on me. I’ve watched a lot of tv and have cried at many finales but AM made me absolutely sob. I cried randomly for days afterwards and felt an emptiness inside of me when it ended. And let’s not forget about tyrus. The emotional investment I had in their story was far superior to any other ship in any other show I’d seen before. And now that it’s been 3 years since the finale I can confidently say: there still had not been a show or ship that had made me feel that way since. there was something so special about andi mack and the friendom on tumblr and the community we had created. I’m re-reading and old tyrus fanfic rn so it’s got me reminiscing about the past lol. Just wanted to say 3 years post-finale that I still love and appreciate andi mack more than anyone will ever truly know.

Andi Mack really brought back Marty as fan service because everyone was sleeping on the potential between Buffy and Jonah, but jokes on them cause Marty’s actor was like the only one they didn’t stay friends with, and Asher and Sofia got to flirt as whole other characters on a whole other show, proving their chemistry reigns supreme, and all I’m saying is, Juffy is the Long-game Endgame

Hiiii thanks for asking! Gosh I started the Holiday AU quite a while ago and kinda lost steam but I definitely want to revisit it some day! It begins with Andi living in LA having just recently broken up with Walker, and TJ living in Shadyside having recently broken up with Marty (though unlike the movie both breakups were amicable). Andi of course ends up meeting Amber on her trip and TJ ends up meeting Cyrus. Here's a snippet!

At that thought, Andi sat straight up in bed. “I need a vacation!” she shouted to the empty room. She hopped out of bed and reached for her laptop, quickly typing out the url for Jumble. Bex and Bowie had used Jumble for their honeymoon and couldn't stop praising it, now this was the perfect opportunity for Andi to try it herself.

The only problem was, Andi had no idea where she wanted to go. “Universe!” Andi called out as her dad often did, “Where should I go!?”

Andi sat for a minute waiting for a sign. Nothing happened. Not very seren-dope-ity. Andi rolled her eyes as dark walls stared back at her and fetched her coin purse. She figured it would be easiest to go somewhere in the United States so she wouldn't have to renew her passport. She’d simply flip a coin to decide what half of the country to look at and keep narrowing it down from there. Andi reached into the purse and pulled out a quarter, illuminated only by the light of her computer.

“Okay. Heads I go East. Tails I stay West,” she said to herself. But before Andi could flip the coin, the tails side caught her eye. Two trains faced each other in front of a mountain range, along with the words “Crossroads of the West.” It was a 2007 Utah state quarter.

“Utah,” Andi pondered in the dark. “Okay universe,” she said with a growing smile on her face.

The sound of TJ’s phone buzzing startled him as he was just falling asleep. He grabbed it annoyance before focusing on what was on his screen.

New notification from Jumble! tjk1996 has a new message from mackandi!

Any annoyance TJ was feeling completely vanished as he read mackandi’s message. A person--a real life person--actually wanted to visit Shadyside. And she was from Los Angeles no less! TJ was practically buzzing with excitement as he and his new match, Andi, chatted.

mackandi: so is shadyside relatively quiet? i'm looking for a relaxing getaway

tjk1996: super quiet! i promise no one will bother you except maybe my sister when she comes to water the plants

tjk1996: and for fun we have a nice park, a movie theater, and a flea market every weekend

tjk1996: oh also the spoon it's the best diner in the whole state

mackandi: sounds perfect!!!

tjk1996: so, when do you want to do this?

There was a pause before Andi's reply came in. TJ held his breath in anticipation.

mackandi: is tomorrow too soon?

The Andi Mack miraculous au was an idea I had a while back, I actually did end up posting my design for Andi as Ladybug here! I didn't get as far with Chat Noir TJ though. Just a rough sketch!

Unlike the show, this would NOT be a ladybug x chat noir romance, they're friends! In this AU I would give Cyrus the turtle, Buffy the tiger, Jonah the fox, Amber the snake, and Kira the bee. If there are any love square shenanigans it would be between TJ and Cyrus (TJ likes Cyrus as a civilian. Cyrus likes Chat Noir as a hero. They don't know each other's identities.) I'm not really sure who the villain would be though.

I think I might have posted my huntlow texting sketch before but I don't remember for sure so here it is again and the meme it's based on. The show has taken their relationship a lot further than it was when I started this, so I'm not sure if I will finish it one day or not. I still think they are cute though :)

A shaky breath escaped Rebecca and she whined, struggling not to move. "How much longer you got on that drawing?"

Steve glanced down at his drawing; there was nothing left of Rebecca's figure to draw, and the room had been outlined and would be easy enough to fill out later.

Andi Mack: Rebecca ‘Bex’ Mack - Type 7w8

Bex is spontaneous, funny, rebellious and kind. Bex has always seemed to want to do new things and explore the world.

At her best, Bex becomes more serious and tries her best to be a good mother to Andi.

At her worst, Bex can avoid her problems and often jokes about serious things, which annoys both Celia and Andi.

It’s implied throughout the series that Bex was a pretty rebellious teenager due to her strict upbringing with Celia. This led to Bex often sneaking out and trying new experiences. It also strained her relationship with Celia and it never really recovered until Bex came back and started to settle down in Shadyside.

Bex has also always wanted to fix her relationship with her mother and even says on one occasion that she lives for the day her mother says she’s proud of her. After a while, Celia and Bex do fix their relationship with Celia becoming less strict and serious and Bex become more settled down, showing their positive impact on each other.

Bex never really wants to hurt anyone’s feelings as she doesn’t like to feel bad, nor does she want anyone else to feel bad. We see this on many different occasions. Firstly, she finds it difficult to discipline Andi as she wants to be her friend. Additionally, when Cyrus gives her his script, she hates it but pretends to like it because she doesn’t want to be mean.

Bex is also very sentimental and has a lot of regrets, however, she also tries to live in the moment. She has a ‘memory box’ which she likes to have for herself, but eventually lets Andi see it and it becomes their memory box. Bex also prefers to be spontaneous which we can see when she is reluctant about planning the wedding, but still decides to surprise Bowie when she sets up a wedding.

Bex shows her wing 8 as she is more practical and assertive than a 7w6.

Wow oh my god I can't believe it's been a full year since the finale and since we said goodbye to our favourite show I can't even put into words how much I miss the show and all the characters I don't how I lasted a year without them but Andi Mack is something I can carry with me for the rest of my life as a show that helped me find myself and has given me so many life lessons that I will cherish forever and you have no idea how much I love this fandom every single one of you from the editors to the fanfic writers to the artists you are all so special and lovely I hope we can keep the fandom alive for another year because you are all such incredible people and I'll always be grateful we had such an amazing show to bring us all together so and you know tommorow really does start today and I am with you all the way 💓

I’m seeing the Andi Mack fandom get discouraged so I just want to remind you all that renewing a show actually is a very complicated process. It takes time. They can’t make an announcement until they have at least some major things finalized. Yeah, the cast and crew have made it clear they’d continue but following the cancellation they committed to other things (as they should have) to still have a job. Renewing the show would require working around these schedules, signing/negotiating new contracts, etc.

Again, this takes time. What’s important is that the fandom doesn’t dwindle in that time. You all started off the first month so strong, but the second month is just as important. They want to know if you’ll stick around or disappear. Yeah, it sucks and it’s cruel but the executives have a lot to do so you can’t let Andi Mack slip from their minds.
