“cmon mikey, get outta the apartment for once in your life that isn’t to go to headquarters!” rindou pouts at his boss.

manjiro really didn’t know what he expected when he decided all the executives should move into a massive penthouse together. sure it was good for his health to be around others and not coop himself up in agony, but he didn’t exactly like the idea of being dragged out whenever his lackeys felt like it.

“not intrested, leave me alone.” manjiro says, attempting to make his way to his bedroom. to go see a band he rarely listened to? who goes to a concert when you don’t give a shit about them to begin with?

sure he’s heard all about the gorgous female lead singer and the hot as fuck guitarist. (Y/N), right? manjiro couldn’t remember nor did he really care to.

“but i bought us all front row tickets to see Black Rose so we could witness how hot Hiroko Asato issss” ran attempted to persuade the stubborn bonten leader.

it wasn’t working.

“i’m looking forward to seeing her outfits up close. from what i’ve heard, she wears pure designer.” kokonoi adds onto the conversation.

“cmon mikey, it’s only one night. if you hate it that much i can drive you back to the penthouse.” kakucho, ever the resolver, bargains with the pouting leader.

“…” manjiro stays silent. ‘it’s just one night i guess, plus it means that i’d have them off my ass for at least a month’ he reasons with himself.

“alright, let’s get going then.” he says, the rest of the executives silently fist bumping the air rn.

the wait to get into the stadium was a bitch, however with a little bit of force, the bonten executives managed to get inside ahead of time.

koko ordered the drinks, kakucho and mochi reserved the spots and the haitani brothers were chatting up some vip ladies in scandalous dresses. meanwhile mikey is . . .

umm . . .

wait.

“oh, hey! are you lost..?”

you do your best to keep cool with the fact that the leader of the biggest mafia syndicate in japan was in your personal changing room.

“the show doesn’t start for another 2 hours, can i help you to your seat? i wouldn’t mind.” you offer, keeping careful of how you talk.

the hotshots of bonten’s identities had been long revealed to the public, however people were too afraid to really report their whereabouts to authorities. many stories of people who had revealed their location that day were swiftly eliminated, even before the news of their position were made public.

and so, knowing that the tatoo on this rather depressed looking man’s neck was a bad sign, you decided to just adhere to whatever he might need.

you were already dressed, the iconic vivienne westwood jewellery hanging from every inch of your body. each member of your band had a significant brand to them, so it wasn’t uncommon for you to be seen decked out in the iconic space themed jewellery. you had always loved the style, and it seemed the mafia boss was equally as intrigued in your designer pieces. you even had their logo imprinted onto your guitar.

“no, i’m okay.” manjiro only replied, his eyes not leaving the necklace that rested gently on your chest.

he didn’t really know why he snuck into the private quarters of the band. perhaps it was to escape his ever-so-annoying underlings?

or perhaps, a little part of him wanted to catch a glimpse of you.

apart from the obvious favourite of the band, the lead singer AS well as the only girl in the band, you were a favourite among listeners.

you had women and men alike screaming your name and begging for skin-on autographs. despite being a dude yourself, you had other guys begging you to sign their tailbone (which you had to politely decline).

manjiro understood why, as you were definitely easy on the eyes. your amazing sense of fashion and your toned body didn’t help.

“uhm.. are you feeling okay? you seem a bit dazed.” you question. in reality, the man was just dead on staring into your soul, scaring the living shit outta you.

“yes, i’m alright.” he finally responds.

. .

. . .

“here, take a seat.” you finally break the silence. why was he here? you didn’t think that a guy like him would have time to sit around some flashy concert. sure, you were a big band but let’s be real, shouldn’t he be at his headquarters shooting peoples heads in?

alas, you knew better then to question it.

and so, you order in some glasses of alcohol and begin chatting. you spoke about your career, how your band came to be and about dreams.

you aren’t entirely sure why you were discussing this sort of shit with a random mafia leader who could probably give less then a shit about you, however he seemed almost enamoured with your conversation.

you felt bad for talking his ear off, especially since you now only had about 45 minutes till showtime and you STILL hadn’t tuned your guitar, however he didn’t seem to care.

everytime you stopped talking, manjiro almost.. glared? at you? as if he was offended that you stopped talking.

unbeknownst to you, manjiro loved listening to you talk. the way you worded things and your voice overall was heavenly to his ears.

the piercings that decorated your skin were appealing to the man. the chain from your ear to you lips especially looked so… attractive to him.

“(Y/N) C’MON, WE’RE ON IN 10” you could hear toru, your drummer, scream out to you.

“SHIT! MY GUITAR” you freaked. HOW did you forget your guitar??

“i’ll come visit after the show.” manjiro says, exiting the room.

“oh, oka-“ before you had the chance to finish your sentence, he vanished.

well, now you couldn’t WAIT for the show to finish!

after the show had ended, you packed up the rest of your gear. your manager had popped in and taken your stage clothes back to the studio before bidding farewell.

as you sat around in a pair of baggy jeans and a t-shirt (inspo - don’t feel like you have to imagine this.) , you paitently waited for the white haired mafia boss to sneak back into your private room.

why were you even waiting? he was probably bullshitting you anyways. why would someone as busy as manjiro sano give a fuck about what you were doi-

“yo.” a cheeky grin graces his face, looking back at you.

note to self : doubt gets you nowhere!

“hey manjiro, enjoy the show?” you ask the man, automatically getting comfortable in his presence. you didn’t exactly know why you felt so relaxed around him, considering his rather infamous reputation, but you just did.

“yeah, you’re certainly the best in your band though. could go solo and still be famous if you wanted.” he replies, automatically heating your face up.

“cmon (Y/N), let’s get going already. i’m tired.” he winged to you in a childlike manner.

“okay.. WAIT—HUH?? where am i going?” you shriek, having no idea that he actually PLANNED to leave this place with you in tow.

“back to my place. duh. i don’t just talk to anybody for fun unless i plan to shoot them in the head an hour later.” he responds in a nonchalant voice.

this boy is gonna be the death of you, literally or figuratively? only time will tell.

regardless of how much you declined the offer, the man ends up dragging you out to the expensive limo that was owned by bonten. not only were you dragged into the car, you were squished in between the boss and 2nd in command of the syndicate, haruchiyo sanzu.

not that you were complaining, the pink haired dude was hot as fuck.

there were many things that occurred that night :

• at 1am, you arrived at their shared headquarters, completely baffled that they all lived together. you decided that you would NOT mention anything that might offend anyone in the room right now.

• at 2am, you were drinking alcohol more pricey then your stage guitar. you weren’t by any means on the poor side, but these men lived a new version of luxury.

• at 3am, you were playing pool with the haitani brothers and sanzu. you lost. miserably.

• at 4am, you were half naked and making out with manjiro sano on his own bed. you didn’t expect the high and mighty manjiro sano to be so submissive in the bedroom.

wait…

“HUH??” WHY WERE YOU IN MANJIRO SANO’S BEDROOM?? WHY WERE YOU IN NOTHING BUT BOXERS?? WHY DID MANJIRO SANO HAVE BITE MARKS ALONG HIS NECK??

“relax dummy, nothing went beyond tongue action.” a mop of platinum hair grumbles beneath the duvet covers.

thank fuck.

‘wait. what time is it?’ you ponder, taking a look at the clock next to the bed. 3:45pm. just how much did you drink to wake up this late?

before you had anymore time to think about it, you feel a thin but strong arm yank you back under the covers,

and come face to face with a pouty mafia leader.

as if on instinct, you pull his head gently into your chest, cradling his head like he’s a porcelain doll. his arms wrap around you as he nuzzled into your body closer, seeking your warmth and comfort.

it doesn’t quite dawn on you that your cuddling a man you literally met yesterday. not because you’re naive or dense, but because it just felt right to be in each others arms.

it’s not until mochi wakes the both of you up for dinner that you reopen your eyes, realising you hadn’t moved since you got dragged down.

it’s an all out war getting manjiro to leave his bed, but when you’re swiftly abducted by the haitani brothers, he’s up and ready, chasing the idiots around claiming they ‘stole his baby.”

well, that’s one way to get a boyfriend!

I just thunk a thought

I can't write fan fiction for the life of me, so hopefully someone can find inspo for this and write a little drabble or smth, maybe even a short fic.

Gojo x reader slowburn

Reader and gojo have been friends for like, ever (cuz who doesn't like a friends to lovers trope).

Takes place as at the start of the anime, so maybe a few weeks after Itadori starts attending jujitsu high so it can follow the timeline

Reader is in a happy marriage with a random man, but then reader gets pregnant from said man, reader knows husband is completely against the idea of having children, while reader always wanted a family.

Reader talks to gojo about there worries and gojo being a good lil friend, supports reader and comforts her, suggesting to tell the husband now to get it over with, incase he's not alright with it now, it would be less harder then further into pregnancy.

Reader follows advice and tells husband about being pregnant that night, they get in a huge fight and husband packs up and leaves (who needs him anyways🤧)

Next day reader is off, not very noticeable, but noticeable to gojo. Putting 2 and 2 together he confronts reader and asks if there okay, reader tells gojo that the husband left, and expresses her worries about how she knows it will be much harder the further into pregnancy she gets knowing she won't have someone their for her

Gojo comes up with an idea. Just an idea of course nothing more. Gojo cares about his friends dearly, so (despite how out of character this is) he offers to help out with the pregnancy and taking care of the child, better then that, offers to move in to make it easier

Reader is obviously hesitant, but eventually caves in and accepts the help, so after sorting everything out

Satoru gojo officially moves in.

I was thinking this could mostly be a fluff story, a bunch of chapters of gojo being a lil sweetheart, helping and comforting reader, maybe a chapter of going baby shopping and setting up the room together.

Then the one faithful night, reader is cramping real bad, baby's kicking, and generally didn't have a good day, it's late, gojo checks in on reader and decides to distract reader, a little movie, favorite snacks, and boom. Night better.

It's only when gojo feels a pressure on his chest when he realizes reader fell asleep, and that he may have a teeny (not teeny) tiny crush on reader😮

Maybe further into the story just to add a little suspense after the child is born, the Shibuya arc hits, gojo is sealed blah blah blah, a bunch of angst of reader struggling idk

Reader could also be a teacher and sorcerer, or could just have a random job (for plot it might make more sense to just be a sorcerer)

Just take the prompt and have a field day, don't have to give credits if you use the idea but just @ me so I can read it cuz I'm dying for some dad!gojo content rn🤞

Just quick update for everyone

I’m a few days away from turning in my final assignment and then being done with the fall semester!!! It’s a 15-20 page essay so I could get it done quick, but I’ll be damned if I don’t finish it well…. Honestly I’m loving the topic anyways and just reading a lot for it, which is taking a hot minute 😭😂

Anyways, Parallels (link here for anyone curious) will be the first thing I work on once I’ve returned and I’ve been thinking about it a lot. Like I’m a creature scratching at its enclosure and rabidly tearing everything apart that comes through… I have to many ideas for these final two chapter I nearly flew out of my skin

so naturally he threatens reader about it until he realizes and understands that papyrus never came thru the machine with him.

if his brother is still in a bad place, then he shall suffer as well.

i think of horror of the quiet kid in the back of the class who fsr always has snacks and never gets caught

his speech is verbally patchy. like, its spaced out as if he has to think about each word he says before saying it.

but, the more comfortable he is, the more he'll try to talk.

he may not be able to show it verbally, but bro is super smart.

while he is interested in stars, he absolutely loves gardening and botany

so if/when he gets a garden he tells reader how to grow really nice shi for no reason at all

on really bad says he'll sit outside in bare gardening dirt (its actually really nice, ive done this once or twice myself) and just bathe in the sun for the rest of the afternoon

since he has a garden, his response is to never let those plump and beautiful veggies go to waste

so he uses them in dinners!

especially when he figured out that okra grows really well in the sun-

one of his favorite things to grow are fruit bearing trees and strawberries.

since i want the fic to have a timeline of at least 3 years, reader gifts axe an apple tree from a plant store they found

speaking of, you guys go plant shopping a lot!

you think about re-shaping the backyard together a lot so the crew can spend more time outside

and with him around renovations are quick to do, even when it gets a bit expensive.

other times you guys will buy small succulents and saplings to put around the house, hoping and praying that the others wont trash them before they grow beautifully.

i head cannon axe to always have some kind of snack in his pockets.

bare chips, skittles he forgot to eat weeks ago, or even a whole ass sandwich in a ziplock which is absolutely funny to me

but his left pockets are where the best snacks are

because he remembers that side the most, and therefore restocks it more often.

other times he'll take you to the corner store if you're feeling the munchies and he doesn't have the snack you want

and if you try to pay, his bills are already on the counter by the time you even think of it.

bro doesn't care what food combos there are, axe will try to eat just about anything

which means you mix shi up like you would at school and dare him to eat it.

and he does, straight face and everything. bro would prolly lick his teeth after too 💀

he plays lil pranks on you, as its natural in his sansnicticityism, so you'll find spicy Mexican candies in random places of your room

other times he'll fuck around and shift some parts of your bedroom to see if youd noticed

aight, imma say it. dudes a touch starved cuddle bug. and if you show him affection with food?

good luck getting rid of that man

since you're a child, he'll try to be more careful in terms of his strength.

call him uncle? call him peepaw? even as a joke, he is gonna savor that until the end of time.

he helps you with panic attacks often, hence the almost nightly cuddles

All Fics Extra: Marriage Bonds

Marriage bonds/ropes are a thing that has been brought up in a few of my AUs now (SLAS, Roses and Thorns.... others definitely but that's all I can remember rn...) so I wanted to have one post on it to refer back to.

The origins of the idea come from the Crimson Waste in canon and me worldbuilding a way marriage "works" there when there's no government or anything, and then it spun off to being a part of hybrid culture in my AUs since it seems like half of them couldn't wear rings (or many forms of jewelry) comfortably.

Marriage bonds are a set of ropes you present to the person you want to propose to, alongside the usual proposal speech about loving them, etc. Said speech usually includes why you selected the specific ropes you did. Most people don't have rope meanings memorized and unless your partner is also planning to propose and has been looking into them, they probably need to be told what exactly you've selected.

There's a large catalogue of rope meanings, with certain colors having broader themes, and then specific knots having their own meanings, which can change depending on the rope color they are tied in. So the same knot tied in red will have a different meaning then when it's tied in yellow.

If the other person accepts, the couple is officially engaged and they will work together to create a tapestry of knots that they feel are representative of them and their lives together. These tapestries resemble macramé and can take many forms. Usually they're a few inches across but can easily range to two feet in size with a variety of dimensions, rarely ending up much larger. Most often they're hung between two rods, but sometimes a circle frame or some complex shape is used.

The engagement period starts from the presenting of the ropes and lasts until the "finishing" of the piece (more on this later). Typically pieces will use a few different ropes, with the fianceé also picking their own ropes that hold meaning to them (unless there's somehow a total overlap between what each partner wants) and both of them work together on design. And yes, asethetic does often play a part in the rope selection. There are a lot of slightly different shades of yellow with varying undertones to better compliment other rope colors that they might be paired with, for instance.

There are some marriage bond designers who design meaningful pieces for couples, but in most hybrid communities it is generally viewed as better to have a single stick with a trail of meaningful knots hanging from it than to have something beautiful and manufactured. The commercialization of the designing and need for something pretty to put online or whatever is a source of great complaint among the older crowd. Even when someone is hired to help with the design, unless neither the couple nor anyone in their lives is capable of physically tying the knots, the couple is supposed to do it themselves and just use designs as a guide to try to recreate.

There are couples "bonding" knot tying classes that it's almost always too early in a relationship to take someone to unless you're already engaged (not that it stops people from making that awkward mistake), and yes, there can be drama over "stealing" someone else's tapestry design, at least in the age of the internet where it's easy to find Pinterest boards full of knotwork inspo pictures for references.

In the Crimson Waste version of this headcanon, you are considered married upon tying the final knot and that's that. In modern AUs, this was once the hybrid tradition, but a shift to a more homogeneous culture, dominated by humans, elves, and the various species most closely aligned with them in physiology and culture, means that the originally elven tradition of proposing with a ring (which is a newer tradition as a whole than the marriage bonds are) has become the "default" when it comes to proposal in many ways, to the point where even hybrid couples from one or more cultures that originally used the ropes might now opt for rings instead. However, others are very strident in their favor for the bonds.

Now the tying of the final knot is symbolic and often done as part of the wedding ceremony. Traditionally, there would a be a knot tying ceremony where the couple, surrounded by a group of their family and friends, would tie the final knot together and then share a night of food and revelry in their own home (occasionally the home of a family member with more room/amenities) and then that's it, you just say you're married from then on and you are. In the time of modern governments, you're officially married when you submit a marriage license, so those events (whether a knot-tying ceremony or a more stereotypical wedding with the tying of the final knot replacing the exchange of rings) are held to celebrate the marriage and the license is sent off for separately around the same time

Usually once the final knot is tied, that's it and the design is done, but sometimes couples come back and add to their design (though never undo past work) if they feel they want to add some significant event, such as if having children has changed them, or as a rededication after breaking up and getting back together. This is rare though, and usually it "runs in families" where people do it because their parents did and it feels more normal to them.

When adding the marriage bonds to a fic would contribute nothing meaningful to the plot and take too long to explain - or actively hinder the plot, such as in TTFT - then I just go with rings, similarly to how many people do even when marriage bonds exist in the fic, but sometimes they just fit better and I resurrect the idea again.

talk shop tuesday - outside of your active WIPs, what is/are your next big fic/fics on the horizon, even if they're just outlines for now 🎤?

Oooh 👀 interesting question! This got long, so under the cut:

So ofc the Morgan and Lucy AUs are my active WIPs but…within those, there are some fics that I haven’t written but have been at least vaguely outlined.

For the main Morgan AU, these include:

1x17 and onwards fic. I haven’t decided if this will include the finale or if that’ll be its own fic, but I’ll see how the flow goes

E2 rescue fic. I’ve gone back and forth about having Morgan help rescue Jesse, but I’m more and more in favor of it as time goes on. Her dynamic with E2 Barry is so sweet to think about 🥰 (and E1 Barry being a little jealous of Morgan calling another version of Barry “like her brother”, even tho Morgan would clearly only be saying that to mess with him 😂). Plus, her potential standoffs with Zoom compel me. I’d have to rewatch the episodes to add more detail. In any case, Morgan would definitely use the telepathy link as an excuse to come, hoping she can find some way to reopen it after Jesse accidentally (not that Morgan knows it was an accident) closed it in the last fic

Jesse POV fic. This covers the events of s2 up to [episode TBD] from Jesse’s POV. So we’ll get to see her get kidnapped, her interactions with Zoom, befriending the real Jay (which didn’t happen in canon, but the medallion says that’s dumb, so it happens here)…and the telepathy link. I originally thought of taking it up to 2x16, but…since Morgan’s likely gonna be part of the E2 rescue, I’ll have to fiddle with things 😅

2x16 fic. Eliza survives this ofc, and as I’ve mentioned prior, there’s no split personality. Taking inspo from the comics for this one, and blending it with show canon: she got powers from the accelerator and the constant defibrillation made her powers unstable. She thus created the drug Sharp to dampen her powers. She’s also a WOC like the comics, unlike the show. Beyond that, the rest is TBD 😂

Morgan & Jesse roommates fic! This is the “enemies to besties/sisters” fic. Jesse shows up at Morgan’s apartment when she runs away, and though Morgan is reluctant to help because of how she and Jesse rub each other the wrong way (they’re a bit jealous of each other, seeing the other as the best version of them, etc etc), she ofc does—she can’t let Jesse wander Starling City alone, especially without powers and with Zoom possibly able to find her if he’s hellbent enough on it. Over time, they get to know each other and become close! Exact timespan is unknown rn, but depending on which episode this needs to be wrapped up by, I might artificially extend the time to at least a few weeks

2x17 fic! I’ve thought about this quite a bit :D Barry time-traveling to 1x11, being furious at Thawne and guilty that he can’t help the others…and also also, using Morgan against him 👀 Eowells is a sucky father in so many ways, but if he knows Morgan is in grave danger, he’ll do anything to stop it (after all, she can’t be his treasure if she’s dead, can she?)

s3 arc. This is…vaguely outlined. I’ll have to sit down post-s2 and really go through it, and especially as I rewatch s3, but…I’ve thought a lot about it, especially how I’m gonna rewrite Savitar and his dynamic with Morgan. I’ve been inspired quite a bit by the comics lately, especially a certain blue speedster in them…👀

For Morgan AU spin-offs, these include:

the “daddy issues AU” is starting to be outlined! I’ve written a couple snippets to get in the zone too :D the first fic just covers Barry’s placement with Eowells and meeting Morgan…and it’s delightful to write. That’ll be the only fic from Barry’s POV, I think—the others will be Morgan’s. It’ll cover s1…possibly s2 but I doubt it

CF AU s1 has been vaguely outlined, even though that’s a ways from now 😂 it’ll ofc be Barry’s POV and cover him waking up, realizing Morgan and Iris are hiding something, and trying to uncover it while hiding his own secret. Don’t worry though, everyone is ofc looped in way sooner than canon

I am ofc currently writing the first fic of a soulmates AU, which should be done this week, and although it’s just the intro fic I’ve written (pre-s1), I’ve thought about how the s1 arc will go. Specifically…how Morgan and Barry’s interactions will go 👀 I can’t say too much because of spoilers, but needless to say, there’s a big mystery at the center of s1 regarding Morgan…and she doesn’t realize it for a while

For the Lucy AU…there’s a few:

post-ESB fic, pre-ROTJ. Covers the fallout of ESB, sorta bridges it to ROTJ. This will be when Lucy gets her Jedi training, while Luke is reeling from the Vader reveal and goes off on…whatever quest he goes on (I still need to read those supplemental comics 😅). Lucy is also, ofc, reeling from Lando’s betrayal—she can’t seem to shake it, even while Leia’s able to push through it. Leia gets Lando’s reasons on some level, even if she’s hurt…but Lucy doesn’t. Something else major also happens 👀 but…spoilers!

TFA fic! Which is jumping ahead quite a bit, but…vague outline and all that. Lucy is ofc raising Rey on Jakku, and there’s some growing pains…especially since Rey, unlike canon, wants to go out into the world, because she knows her family is out there. Lucy, however, believes everyone is dead and that they’re safest here. She’s tired of fighting, tired of losing people. They clash quite a few times about this…though ultimately, when Lucy finds out Leia is alive, ofc she and Rey both go. Also in this fic, there’s no fake Poe death, so the ST trio is established from early on!

OH ALSO:

PJO x Flash AU!! How the PJO trio gets to the Arrowverse is still up in the air, but they have their show appearances (their backstory is the books’ story, not the show, though there are a couple things from s1 I’m carrying over). And ofc the central conflict, besides the general events of the show, is that the more Team Flash finds out about these kids’ past, and especially about the Prophecy, the more reluctant they are to send them back. This causes a number of fights between Barry and Percy in particular, because Percy wants to get home to Sally and also take on the Prophecy so Nico doesn’t have to. Barry meanwhile is so angry that Percy has to make the choice between protecting his loved ones and keeping himself safe. There’s also, in s3, some fun Savitar & Percy interaction that furthers these themes…👀

That’s about it as far as vaguely-outlined fics go! Probably a bit of a longer list than you were expecting 😅 but I do like to bounce around

listening to the phanta playlist rn and throwing up (it hurts so bad) i get so emotional thinking abt sanemi watching reader fall apart in the aftermath of her mom’s death and y/n’s grief over losing the people she loves 😭😭 im curious if u have any favorites in this playlist? and which songs inspired particular scenes in the fic?

bestie I think you might regret asking this because the Phanta playlist is chalked FULL of symbolism and songs that inspired specific scenes.

First and foremost, Sanemi has his own playlist that I meant to be read with his POV — even more so once I’m finished with the extended version of Phantasmagoria.

Let’s go over some of the songs!

There are two songs that inspired the entirety of Phanta — from the setting to the conflict.

Cardigan (the Dolby Atmos Stems version — specifically, the bridge). The first scene that ever came to mind, before Phantasmagoria was even Phanta, was the scene in part 2 where Sanemi and Reader argue in the club and it cuts to a flashback of them as kids while Sanemi was in the hospital. The original idea was the tragedy of two people who’ve known and loved each other for so long only for one of them to turn completely. I specifically envisioned the way Reader’s face faded from someone happy and devoted to him in Sanemi’s memory to the one he sees before him at the club, giving him that dead-eyed, unfeeling stare.

The second song was the fic’s main anthem — Black Out Days. That song is what gave me the inspo for the setting (club) and the issue of drug abuse. I then drew upon my own partying experiences/my own struggle with abuse of my ADHD meds in early college.

Beyond that, there are several songs that I listened to/imagined playing during specific scenes:

Black Out Days — Reader and Sanemi dance at the club for the first time and almost kiss

Right here — when they finally kiss/get back to Sanemi’s apartment to fuck for the first time in part 1

Ptolemaea — Reader’s panic attack when Sanemi is yelling at her about her drug use/he brings up her mom

Cornflower blue — when Reader and Sanemi finally have makeup sex/make love in part 3 after they’ve fought/talked

And finally, there are just some songs that are for specific characters:

Right where you left me — Reader, and it applies to both losing her mom and her boys

I love you but I need another year — Sanemi, in the context of losing his brother and grieving, too (so that he distances himself from reader)

The mother we share — reader’s relationship with Kyojuro

Heat waves — Sanemi. Even more so once I finish the extended version.

There is a new song that I’ve used to write a very specific (and gut wrenching) scene for the extended version, but I’m keeping that a secret for now. It’s gonna hurt tho lmao.

Also, if you’re curious, most of the flashbacks are meant to be from Sanemi’s POV (kudos to @mosskelp for pointing that out!)

Also sorry for vanishing for a while there, needed to take a break and focus on helping family during the holiday season. I love my family, but they do require an awful lot of effort these days, so I had to limit myself on here to just reading you guys’s stuff, but I’m back now!

SO, I thought that made it time for an update!!!

I’m working my way towards a big deadline at work in ~1 week, and then I’ve got a bunch of WIPs I want to finish up and post!!!

Also in the process of learning how to use AO3 so I can post stuff on there and support other fellow writers!!!

AND gonna attempt to make a form for my taglist!!!

And if you tagged me in something and I haven’t responded, I promise it’s up next on the stuff I wanna catch back up on!!!

And for a fun follower mile marker celebration I wanted to ask you guys for your thoughts on what you’d like to see finished soonest! I don’t get much chance to interact with you all on here since I don’t exactly take requests, but I do like to hear back from you guys about what you like to read the most!

Side note, this doesn’t guarantee I’ll be able to find the inspo to finish whatever wins the most votes/comments next, BUT knowing that’s what people want to read does help me find the motivation to sit down and finish up a current WIP instead of steering another new WIP…. Hehehe!
