HOW THE DNDADS TEENS FEEL ABOUT RIVERDALE (COMPREHENSIVE) (TRUST ME)

Link: fucking HATES riverdale. Thinks it’s stupid and overly convoluted. Not Garfield and therefore not good. Thinks it sucks.

Scary: loves riverdale and watches it every week, but needs to keep up her mean girl exterior so she acts like she hates it. Kins Jughead (he’s literally her) and thought the gryphons and gargoyles plot was the most emotionally moving thing since MCR

Normal: doesn’t really get riverdale but Hermie likes riverdale so he smiles and nods. Doesn’t really think it’s as bad as people think but it’s not his thing. Cheryl is his favorite character (he knows she has school spirit)

Taylor: if riverdale has an anime in future doodlerized America I think he’d find it overly convoluted at best and completely uninterested at worst

Hermie: the biggest open riverdale fan you have EVER MET. Gay Kevin is one of his icons for his sheer dedication to the Theater. I saw James Cameron's Avatar The Last Airbender: The Shape of Water.

It's… Fine, I'd say. I can't tell if it's actually better than the original or if it just seems that way because action spectacle movies these days have gotten so much worse.

Despite being a "big" movie, both in terms of length and scale of spectacle, it distinguishes itself from most other such movies by the fact that I didn't feel like I had been beaten up by the movie after I left the theater.

I think my verdict would be that it's an okay movie with ideas that could have been part of a really good movie.

Also I legit wonder if James Cameron saw that post about how there's no Avatar fan fiction because there's a lot more hooks to hang fanfic on in this one. Spoilers and discussion beneath the cut.

On the other hand, even though I didn't feel beat up by the movie, it's a very macho world these people live in. The human world is run by a bunch of macho marine types, who "Don't die, [they] just regroup in hell" and our main character, uh… what's his name, raises his kids the way he was clearly raised and inducted into the Marines; at one point his wife tells him, "Those aren't your squad, they're your children."

But Na'avi culture is also characterized by a gender-neutral machismo, there's a lot of teeth baring and metaphorical chest bumping, an emphasis on proving your adult-hood through fighting and feats of bravery, of defying authoritarian fathers through macho displays of courage.

Interestingly, there is a whole society of characters who are completely pacifistic, to the point where they exile a member for attempting to lead a war party against the humans. The humans defeat him, kill most of the people he brought along, which, to his pacifistic kin, makes him as responsible for their deaths as the humans.

They're kind of pushed to the side and the moral implications aren't dwelt on.

As someone who is not really very macho himself I found this to be a bit exhausting. Scientists and pacifists exist in this world, but, they, like the young protagonists, find themselves caught in a world where authority figures don't really value those tendencies, and their peers pick up on this and police them to make sure that they're as macho as they should be.

In general the movie kind of reminds me of Star Wars; The Last Jedi in that there's a lot of interesting ideas that kind of can't be paid off quite as well as they ought to be because of the Hollywood spectacle that they're forced into.

There's a character named Spider, a human who is the son of the bad guy from the first movie. Said bad guy had his memories cloned and uploaded to an Avatar body, and is now being used as part of the human assault on Pandora. Apparently Earth is a huge crap hole now so the humans are planning to just colonize Pandora.

Anyway, this clone of Spider's dad captures him and holds him hostage for most of the movie, leading to some bonding between them. At one point, the clone is going to tranquilize a bird to see if he can link up and control it; Spider laughs at him and says that kids younger than him do it with their bare hands. So of course clone dad has to prove that he can do it that way too; the machismo of the human military is broadly compatible with the machismo of the Na'avi.

At the very end of the movie, clone dad has one of the main character's kids hostage and is threatening to kill them. So the main Na'avi woman, who has been Spider's surrogate mother figure, grabs spider and says, "You kill my son and I'll kill yours."

Which does work, although the movie's in such a hurry to end by this point that it kind of glosses over the psychological impact that this would probably have on the poor kid. At the end of the day it doesn't matter that he's grown up with the Na'avi his whole life, he's still an outsider.

Also neither I nor my two companions have any idea which brother died at the end which I feel is a failure on the part of the character design team.

I'm gonna so some single headcanons for each of them and then ship hcs bc I got fucking brain rot for them.

Miho

Okay in the manga it is mentioned that Miho actually is a student librarian and I fully believe this girl is actually a huge bookworm. She loves fantasy and romance novels and always has a ton of books she loves to reccomend and would be an active part of booktok. She also probably adores shojo manga.

She owns every Bridgerton novel too you cannot convince me otherwise. She binges that show like it's the end of the world. She wants a regency era dress so bad. And a tiara.

Everyone kinda treats her as ditzy but I think she's smart in a lot of things that no one gives her credit for or sees as useful. She's actually really good at literary analysis and she's really good at making her own little knick knacks that make her happy. I think she just gets caught up in her own mind and her own daydreams she kinda just doesn't give as much attention or thought to conventional things or sometimes people's emotions but she tries so hard.

Would probably actually be a jack of all trades in several different areas bc she also picks up on her friends hobbies.

She always wants to go to Build A Bear with her friends so they can make plushies that can be besties.

Got into ttrpgs bc she thought Ryou was cute and wanted to impress him. Stayed bc she got genuinely invested and is actually a very active and dedicated player.

Miho looks like the girl that has the froggy chair from animal crossing in her bedroom. I think she'd love frogs.

She also gives trans girl vibes and I love that for her.

Duke

This boy gets the bougiest cologne he can fucking find and wears it like a badge of honor. Even if he does still dress like he shops at early 2000s Hot Topic.

Duke had to have been a theater kid. Look at him. That kid was Charlie in his middle school production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and now he's got main character syndrome.

I fully believe Duke is like. Nb or gender fluid. Just a vibe I get.

His favorite bonding time is going to drive his buddies to Taco Bell at 1 in the morning for a food run while they're blasting music in his convertible. He just loves the fun aspect of it and then the quality time of going to park somewhere and just sitting out and talking on a spring or summer night when it's warm and the stars are shining brightly.

He's the only one in the friend group who has an A in math like he's the only one allowed to do math.

Has a secret tattoo that only the dnd gang know about no one else is ever allowed to know, it is a secret to be taken to the grave.

Is not afraid to yell self confidence into you.

Miho/Duke (I AM ACCEPTING ANY SHIP NAME NOMINATIONS BC I HAVE YET TO FIND IT AND THEY DESERVE ONE)

They are both poly and established early on its okay to date other people as long as they keep open and honest communication and also they get to help pick out each other's outfits so they look their best.

They are super cuddly all the time like they will be on the couch just sprawled out together or Miho sitting in Dukes lap they just always wanna cuddle.

Miho and Duke doing each others makeup would be perfection.

Their first anniversary Duke takes her to a Bridgerton themed ball and got her the perfect dress and it was the sweetest thing.

All the self care / spa day dates all the time.

They flirt all the time and have cutesy pet names for each other and it's the really corny ones like Dukey-kins and Shnookums.

Matching/coordinated outfits for big events all the time.

They would be the aunt and uncle in the future that show up after a trip across Europe with all the presents and also pick you up after like 2nd period for food and don't take you back to school.

Birch got it for her the first day she let Kindlin take charge of things

She wears it during special events like holidays or days they have a big sale

She definitely sings all the songs from drama club she learned while she bakes.

I can see them in the kitchen alone and Kindlin absent mindedly starts to sing a duet they did together in highschool and they both end up singing it together at full volume while they frost cakes

Using their spoons as microphones XD

They so would.

Omg If a customer is ever rude to Cirrus Kindlin will step in and is polite but her flames absolutely turn purple until they leave She's slow to anger but has her moments

At least Cirrus is good at acting so she can handle most annoying customers, but when she has her bad days Kin would be there.

Kindlin moving in behind Cirrus to grab her hand to help her chop fruit when she knows damn well Cirrus already knows how to chop. XD

PFFF omg yes she absolutely would "Here lemme help" Hugs her from behind and helps her start chopping slowly She knows what she's doing XD

Cirrus just rolls her eyes and leans into her

Ohh After a long day of hard work they're both a mess and totally drained Kindlin locks up the shop and turns off the lights But instead of heading straight to bed she takes Cirrus hands and just starts to slow dance with her without a word in the middle of the empty bakery, the only light coming from her flames and the passing cars outside. It's just a quiet, peaceful moment in their new life.

Kindlin is gonna do everything in her power to make sure Cirrus feels at home there. Birch and Sequoia are right behind her on that. I imagine Birch probably frequently checks in on Cirrus to see if she needs anything , considering the reason she moved in. Sequoia is a little awkward at first but he does suggest a few books when he finds out she likes theater

Once Cirrus is out of her depression, she starts trying to make her own original pastries in her free time, hoping to make something to bring in more customers to help update the place, maybe finally getting security cameras or fixing one of the oven's doors.

Birch and Kindlin both squeal with delight when they find out she's been experimenting and they're all over asking her what she did and how she came up with it XD They're both very enthusiastic about learning how to make what Cirrus comes up with.

Cirrus used to complain that air people's food is always soft and she used to get really jealous that she could never eat anything crispy or crunchy, so she's trying to figure out how to use air ingredients to make biscuits.

Ohhhh what if she made cloud cakes then froze them rapidly in liquid nitrogen? Make like an icy crunchy puff ball

Gasp! They could be like lucky charms marshmallows!

Poor Kindlin can't make them for her XD They'd disappear as soon as she touched it lol

The one treat she can't make for her gf She has hundreds of recipes but this one thing devastates her because she knows Cirrus likes it XD

Kindlin surprises her by closing the shop for the weekend so they can go see a musical that takes like 6 months advance for a reservation

And after they go to dinner Kindlin was going to propose then but dinner turns into a disaster

So they finally get home, giggling and chatting about the night they had When Kindlin stops them at the front door and gets a serious expression. She turns to Cirrus taking both of her cloudy hands and a deep breath "Cirrus, you make me happy. I wanna make you happy too, every day, right here. I want this to be our home and build our future here. I wish there were more words for me to explain just how much you mean to me." She gets on on knee and pulls out a ring "So let me show you instead. Cirrus, will you marry me?"

Cirrus goes full rain cloud, crying happy tears. She tries to calm down so she can hug Kindlin without getting her all wet.

Kindlin hugs her anyways, not minding the slight sting of water as she picks her up and spins her around before kissing her deeply

Strickler as a single father to a daughter the same age as Toby, Jim, and Claire and is also a part of the Trollhunters?

This man is beyond stressed.

~ First of he adores you, you are his entire world. He worked hard to be where he is in the Order and now that he's where he's at you are safer than you would've been before. He knows he hasn't always made the best decisions for your relationship but he does his best as a father and is always thinking of your future and saftey.

~ Thankfully young changelings who are naturally borne and not switched from the DarkLands are often coddled or given special treatment. Changelings instinctively are very protective of their young whether its their kin or someone elses. They will do whatever it takes to protect the young of their clan. Otto and Nomura love you as if you were their own and when you were growing up they were your closest family other than Strickler.

~ Otto was a doting uncle and Nomura a caring but estranged wine aunt. You are older now but many changelings still coo at you like a child depsite being a teenager. Strickler tells you to use that to your advantage since it won't last forever but in his eyes no matter how old you grow you'll always be his baby. Despite his uneasiness around Nomura and Otto he knows they feel the same.

~ No one ever told Stricklander they were proud of him growing up. No one ever thanks him for his hard work or gives him his credit where it's due unless he fights for it. He bit and clawed and chewed and fought to be where he is now. That being said he always tells you how proud he is of you. He always lets you know your accomplishments mean something and he always lets you know your loved. He's not always good with physcial affection but he will always tell you he loves you and is proud of you.

~ Fighting and sparring is a bonding activity. He needs to know if anything ever happens to him you'll be able to take care of yourself. He tells you to depend on Otto and Nomura but never be surprised if they turn their back on you, that is the way of changelings once they grow. Strickler is prepared for any situation and he had raised you with that same skill set making you remember the honor code of changelings. Adaption is your middle name and decepticon is a game you've always played, Strickler couldn't be more proud of your talents and skill.

~ You both communicate in Morse code when your upset or in dangerous situations. He clicks his pen and you tap your fingers. If your stressed and can't speak or feel your words catching in your throat morse is the best way to communicate your feelings. Strickler taught it to you when you were very young and now it's ingrained deeply in your mind. Thanks to your dad you know many languages and codes and you never feel out of the loop.

~ At first Strickler wants to homeschool you worried your changeling nature will be revealed but you've grown so much and have mastered your powers. Plus it would be suspicious for a teacher to keep a child at home. It's at school you meet your dads favorite student Jim.

~ Before Jim becomes the trollhunter you and him actually grow really close. Toby and him being your only real friends. Strickler trusts them and you'll often ride your bikes home together and get tacos when your dads busy. You have to dedicate a lot of time to school and the Order but at least you have Jim and Toby when your in school.

~ Acting is in your blood so the theater club seems like a natural form of escape. Thats where you meet Claire. Jims told you endless stories about his crush and now you act as an agent. You help Jim and Claire get closer and suggest he tries out for the play so he can get his dream girl.

~ Your grades are beyond excellent and your role in the Order is forming nicely as you cement a place next to your father. Strickler has high expectations of you but he never pushes you too hard to break you. As your father he's supportive of your decisions only wanting what's best, but he reminds you the Eternal Night will be coming soon. And one must always be careful with their emotions.

~ Nesting is instinctive as a changeling. Doesn't matter how old you are, your getting long cuddles from your dad as he grooms your hair and babies you. Pillowforts and blanket nests are a must after a long week. You'll be huddled together and watching movies on his day off preening each other and snuggling into each other.

~ When you relaized how bad the Eternal Night was you flee from Strickler to join the Trollhunters and stop the Order. A strong divide is created in your relationship as you seperate yourself from your father and he does everything to try and make you come back. Its thanks to you Jim knows changelings are real and in Arcadia. You've endangered everyone in the Order and yourself. Depsite your original treachery Strickler still loves you and tries to talk to you whenever he can at school.

~ You'd moved out so suddenly having preplanned this and now you worked with the trollhunters full time. Your father wasn't sure if he was proud or safe Your kept safe in Trollmarket where you live with Blinky and Aarrgh in Blinkies library. Having you living with two other trolls especially trolls you saw as fathers infuriated Strickler to no end. He tries to get in contact with you to make you come home but Jim and Toby always had your back making sure he couldn't take you back. The friends he thought would keep you safe were now keeping him away from you.

~ Once Claire joins the group he's not sure of his next step. You leaving was unplanned, the amulet picking a human unprecedented, and Bulars temper tantrum about treason were unpredictable. He was left in a giant mess you helped create and there wasn't a lot of options out. However seeing the four of you together as team did warm his heart. His baby was growing up.

~ Chaos ensues in the Order after your departure. Strickler is doing his best on the inside to keep you safe but with changelings wanting revenge it isn't easy. When Bular is killed and the power shifts however Strickler sees an opening. As Strickler and Otto rise to the top of the Order your father wonders if summoning a certain Trollhunter assassin talented in kidnapping could get rid of both of his problems...

Haikyuu Characters as Theater Kids: Inarizaki Edition ft. Sakusa

Sakusa:

Came to practice just to see what was going on and Atsumu pressured him into trying out

Atsumu tried to dance with him and Sakusa swatted his hand away. He then proceeded to speed walk to the corner and use the entire supply of Purrell to “rid himself of that annoying germ”

Atsumu asked him if he thought he was contaminated jokingly

Sakusa just responded with “yes”

Then Atsumu asked, “Would you still love me if I was a germ 🥺”

Sakusa never returned to practice again

Atsumu:

Gets mad every time someone in the audience so much as whispers during the show

Does the fist thing on stage even though there is no music or chant. It looks really stupid.

Gets in fights with Osamu all the time omfg

He was banned from being on the stage at the same time as him because they would throw hands in the middle of the play 😤

Osamu had a line where his character insulted Atsumu’s. Atsumu glared at him yelled, “Ok, I see how it is. Insulting me during the play so I can’t fight back. Jokes on you, I’m gonna fight you anyway!” And then he tackled him and they literally fought onstage.

After the show, people thought that the fight was part of the actual play and Atsumu got praised because “wow, that fight choreography looked so realistic!”

Despite the praise, the instant the audience left, Stage Crew Iwaizumi grabbed them both and said, “the next time you two fight each other in front of me, the fight’s about to get A LOT MORE REALISTIC”

I need to mention Stage Crew Iwaizumi whenever I have the chance because he lives in my head rent free 😌

Atsumu is also so fucking cocky and brags about how good he is

I actually think he would have a good singing voice which is unfortunate because he has a right to brag 😔

Is a ridiculous perfectionist too so he would really want to be the best and put in the effort

Does not cooperate with the other actors and complains nonstop

Has driven away people trying to audition because he straight up will tell them they suck

Really goes all out on stage though. This attention whore needs the standing ovation

Osamu:

Eats on set

Like he brings a whole ass meal and if he’s hungry he will bring the food on stage

One time Atsumu said, “you don’t need to bring food because I’m already a full course meal”

From then on, he brought food for everyone but Atsumu

He does cook all the time for everyone else though

It’s on sight every time he and Atsumu are in the same vicinity

Kita:

Literally the ideal cast member

Hardworking, practices consistently, a leader, smart, patient, cooperative, graceful, doesn’t need to be the center of attention, memorizes all the lines so he could fill in for any cast member etc.

I have no critiques: like he’s genuinely perfect

However, he is really intimidating sometimes

Atsumu complained all the time about Osamu not giving him food. He kept making these annoying passive-aggressive remarks towards him. Like Osamu would mess up a line and Atsumu would be like, “Well MAYBE if you had actually GIVEN someone food, this wouldn’t have happened” or Atsumu would forget a line and be like, “Damn, I’m so HUNGRY, it’s hard to think.” And would just pointedly look towards Osamu.

One day Kita had had enough. In the middle of a scene, this man gets up on stage, walks straight up to Atsumu, and stares him down. He doesn’t say anything. He just stares. With intense eye contact.

Kita is 175.2 cm (5’9”) and Atsumu is 183.6 cm (6’.03”). Yet somehow it felt like Kita was the one looking down on him

Atsumu ended up profusely apologizing and promising he’d never complain about it ever again

Kita basically used only eye contact and his presence to make Atsumu shut the fuck up

So yeah, like I said, Kita’s an absolute saint 😇

Suna:

Records everything to post online

He has a tea account where he posts all the videos; it is mainly the Miya twins fighting

Has amassed so many followers

Some videos he has not posted because he “wanted to use them for future reference”

Atsumu said that suspiciously sounded like blackmail and Suna gave no response which was more concerning than if he said anything

Aran:

Another great person to have in the cast

Helps keep people in line (mainly the Miya Twins), is a good actor, is supportive of everyone

Similar to Kita, he is very mature and poised on set (unlike most people *cough cough* the Miya Twins)

He helps keep them humble too. Especially Atsumu.

Every time Atsumu says something outta pocket, Aran calls him out. His favorite one to say is, “Until you fix your whack ass dye job, you have no right to talk shit about anyone.”

On one hand, Aran does mean to roast him, but also he genuinely really wants Atsumu to fix his dye job.

Which is incredibly valid

Because it’s really bad

He has a bet with Osamu on if he can convince Atsumu to change his hair color

Unfortunately for Atsumu, the color Osamu would secretly dye Atsumu’s hair with was hot pink

But honestly, it’d still be an upgrade 🤷‍♀️

A/N:

I had a really long day of work today, and I really wanted to get out these headcanons before the day is over. I know I said this about last post, but I really don’t think that these ones are as well-done as the others. I’m sorry that they’re not as funny or creative.

Also, this whole post is basically Atsumu slander. I would like to say that I love Atsumu. I kin Atsumu. I simp for Atsumu. But will I ever stop slandering Atsumu? No. No I will not.

So Our Multiple System Got to Watch The Movie, Wolf…

… and it wasn't terrible. A brief overview on our first impressions below the cut.

Us As People Watching A Movie - Our multiple system watched it with a number of other nonhumans, therians, and otherkin while in a chat. The movie was fairly entertaining. Not amazing, but fair. Not bad for an indie movie. The characters, especially the antagonists were very one note and flat; but we can't decide if we disliked that or liked that about the movie. The several species dysphoric characters were interesting. (Rufus is a good boy and deserves head pets! We had feelings for the squirrel guy and parrot girl (forgot their names) too.] Apparently a guy whose helped actors act more like animals helped train the actors for their parts and it shows. Their mannerisms were better than we expected. The movie was a fair bit over the top but it still wasn't a terrible movie.

Course there were some things about the movie that felt lacking. The ending was… okay? Kind of sudden and felt like it cut off too soon? We also felt like the introduction to the lion guy towards the end didn't do anything? But those things didn't ruin the movie for us.

Us As a System of Nonhumans Watching This Movie - Honestly, we felt things in this movie. Like "oh that felt relatable" or "oh yeah, mood" kind of stuff. Exaggerated to a more physically obvious and artistic degree but it still felt relatable. Like yeah, real-life therians don't act like how the characters physically act, but how they acted felt like how our system feels or thinks sometimes.

The movie didn't always land but for a movie made by non-kin people and played by non-kin people we surprising let a lot watching this movie. Like some of the things said by the characters didn't feel terribly off from what we might hear on a forum or whatnot. Like at one point the panda girl character talking about how people describe themselves in a number of ways and how describing themselves as animals is just another way of expressing some inner truth (or something like that). Also at one point, a journal entry/poem of Jacob's is read and it feels very relatable.

The movie is far from a great and accurate representation of species dysphoria, but it still made us as watchers feel things in regards to our own species dysphoria stuff.

Us As A System of Nonhumans Watching Non-Kin People Reacting To This Movie - A LOT of non-kin seem to be reading this as an allegory for being transgender, maybe in some ways it is even if that wasn't intended. It certainly felt like it with how the Zookeeper and assistant woman kept enforcing that they were a "girl" or a "boy" rather than just impressing upon their patients that they are "human." Like, at several points when the Zookeeper and assistant woman are having a "you're not a [insert animal], you are a [human]" they almost always say "boy/girl" which made it feel like they were pressing something gender related more than just strictly animal related.

Also the reviews coming in the for this movie seem to show just how little mainstream people are aware of actual species dysphoria. So few seem to catch that species dysphoria is actually a thing.

Us As A System of Nonhumans Thinking About This Movie's Impact on the Alterhuman/Nonhuman Communities - This movie really, really feels like it will quickly be forgotten in the near future. We have a hard time imagining this movie having a notable long-term impact in the communities with many nonkin associating this movie with anyone who comes out as being alterhuman/therian/otherkin/etc. It's not getting shown in a lot of theaters and it doesn't look like it will it's just getting that much attention.

It also felt like any non-kin who does watch this movie and remembers it later on - they might have some wrong impressions about species dysphoria but the people with species dysphoria were the good guys/victims/sympathetic characters.

Final Thoughts - The movie movie-wise wasn't GREAT but it also wasn't BAD either. Kind of mediocre indie stuff. The movie was far as representation of was "meh;" we felt sympathetic and "that's relatable" feelings watching the movie but we wouldn't call it an accurate movie portrayal by a long shot. We don't have any strong fears of this movie negatively impacting species dysphoria’s acceptance by wider society in the future.

Overall, we will likely buy a copy of this movie once it comes out on DVD.

LANCE HEADCANONS LET’S GO

I FINALLY GOT BACK AROUND TO THESE, headcanons for the best pile of squid ink noodles...

- While Balan is the face of the theatre and handles everything centre stage, Lance actually has a lot of jobs to do with behind the scenes! They help repair costumes, set design, communicating with staff and really only appearing in the story when it’s their cue or to summon the boss of the level. They're actually extremely creative and good with their hands!

- Lance Isn’t evil, nor is Balan good. They’re beyond the human concepts of good and evil and play the roles of the omnipotent overviewers of Visitor’s stories. They are Balance. Lance’s methods can be seen as extreme however, a result of when Visitor’s seriously deny their negative emotions and fears. In their eyes, you have to earn your happy ending.

- Lance is a mimic! They can perfectly replicate voices of people, the more they hear one the better they get with it. This comes in handy when manipulating the memories of hearts, allowing to reconstruct things in their own design (for example, the way Fiona remembers the Dolphin accident being malicious and with intent, rather than an accident like her rational brain should remember it). It goes without saying Lance can also mimic Balan's voice near perfectly, but this causes tension between them because Balan hates it.

- Lance can be pessimistic, and self degrading. But that's because they have Balan to compare themselves to, the face of the theatre, the one everybody adores, the natural showman of the two. It's hard not to live in Balan's shadow when he shines so brightly. Because of this, and their connection to negative emotions/the tragedy mask, they can often scare people really easily and without meaning to. This is also evident in the way their design has sharp corners and angles everywhere, as opposed to the rounded, soft edges Balan has in his design. They're just trying to vibe and they're honestly feeling so attacked right now.

- Nobody is really sure what their bond is with the comedic Maestro, it's been there since before anyone can remember. But some say it’s a familial, kin bond the two have, possibly having known one another since the moment of existing. Some even rumor Lance might have come from a bad place before coming to the theater, possibly contributing to their feelings regarding their own self worth. They're two sides of the same coin.

- Lance is EXTREMELY non touchy, they will flare up like an angry cat when people try to touch them without explicit permission. They also prefer to use their tendrils for tasks and keep their hands free, and keep people at (literal) arms length. They’re extremely soft spoken, and mostly observe the room -in comparison to Balan who commands it. They’ll speak when spoken to, and they get along very well with more timid and quiet Visitors despite their frightening appearance.

TMA Entities Rated by how much I’d enjoy being an avatar for them

Vast: 1000/10: bring on the void! The universe is massive and uncaring and it’s great!

Eye: 11/10: I see more drawbacks to this one, but like. The chance to know literally everything. Come on. Yes I kin Jon.

Lonely: 8/10: it would suck and everything but like… not much worse than anything I’ve already felt. I’d probably throw myself headfirst into this one, even if I wouldn’t enjoy it.

Buried: 7.5/10 admittedly we don’t have many examples but Hezekiah Wakely was having a great time. It’s a weighted blanket x100. Definitely not my first choice but a solid option.

Stranger: 6.5/10 conceptually very sexy and I really enjoy theater but like. The day to day doesn’t really excite me that much.

Hunt: 6/10 but only if I’m like that thing in the woods in virginia and not. Like. a murder cop. It’s about feeling the wind on your face and the ground under your feet baby!

Dark: 5/10 might be neat and the goth opportunities would be off the charts but again it doesn’t grip me. Lacks a certain je ne sais quoi.

Slaughter: 5/10 if I lost myself far enough it would be a good time but it’s not really my thing you know?

Spiral: 4/10 I would feel bad but at least it’s not gross

Web: 4/10 pretty neutral? Neat aesthetic but I’m afraid of spiders and the whole chessmaster thing doesn’t really captivate me.

Flesh: 3/10 could trans people’s genders but everything else… ew

End: 2/10 listen I read Road to Damascus by Ren Titanfalling watching people die while never reaching it yourself would suck

Extinction: 1.5/10 Would feel really bad about it, but at least it’s not like… personal? We all go together sort of thing.

Desolation: 1/10 I would feel really bad about it :(

Corruption: -100/10 oh God please no
