AUTISM N OCD JEDDIE HCS 👀 <- normal about him

YES YES YES YES YES I WAS HOPING SOMEONE WOULD ASK ABOUT THOSE ..... >:))

okay starting with autism . there is NO WAY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD that fucker doesnt have a special interest on video games theres just no way . i think hes had a spinterest on the medium broadly for SEVERAL years but it yas like . Subhyperfocuses on specific games and series which shifts a lot . for example it was skyrim in college and hes had an on again off again special interest on sonic for most of his life . also he has a special interest in math because i do too and i get to hashtag project

hes VERY much undiagnosed i think . i think he RELATES to a lot of the things sydney experiences and the autistic traits he has but because he doesnt relate to Everything both because autism demonstrates differently in everyone plus sydney has more immediate support needs as well as other disorders and disabilities he kinda is like . ok so im not autistic bc im not exactly like sydney . i think he has some internalized ableism to work thru

i think he stims by pacing his office a lot (: he also flutters his hands when hes nervous or excited and i think he finds clicking his tongue in time with the clocks in his office to be a relaxing stim for when hes upset. he also claps his hands when hes happy and rocks back and forth a lot ESPECIALLY when hes in an infodump

i think she scripts a good deal like she has Specific Phrases that she relies on for hard social interactions . a canon one being the phrase Untenable Circumstances . he doesnt script Whole Interactions but i think for stressful things or abrupt changes she has specific little scripts like for the opposite day ep scripting is a backup plan for him in times of distress

i think that understanding that shes autistic and undoing a lot of her internalized ableism actually helps her and sydney become a lot closer and have tehir relationship be a lot better (: they r autistic4autistic and it deepens their love for each other because of the way they understand each other on a deeper level <3 love wins

using discussing COMORBIDITY as a good segue between ocd and autism here . i think he is DEEPLY DEEPLY reliant on a routine she cant handle large changes theyre really upsetting for him they tend to lash out with frustration which they then feel badly about bc its not like hes actually Angry hes just panicking . this is another thing about the opposite day ep that was SOO autsim coded

okay so now ocd stuff IN PARTICULAR . i think a common loop he gets stuck in is just . staring at his clocks until it hits a SPECIFIC certain time like 11:11 or 12:24 or 10:01 or something like that and if he blinks when it hit that time he has to start over again with a NEW time on the dot . he gets stuck like that a lot ESPECIALLY when hes anxious a good bit of the time he spends locked in his office is just him staring at his clocks . tangentially i do think that her ocd gets SIGNIFICANTLY worse when she does her avoidant thing i think its a self feeding cycle where the mor she avoids the worse her symptoms are and vice versa . seek therapy miss martin <3

ALSO . THIS IS A THING THATS CONSISTENT IN HIS ARC ITS A MAJOR PART OF WHY HES MY BIGGEST OCD HC . HE HAS THE OCD GUILT . like he gets that feeling where you get so obsessed with ur own guilt that you engage in compulsions to ease it or obsessively resolve it somehow in ways that are totally unhelpful or Alternatively obsessively avoid it hes got that going on to EXTREME DEGREES and i think it would influence the way she acts in the show

i think sydney knows a lot of jedidiahs rituals and tries to make them a little easier on him . small things that he doesnt usually bring up to her but if shes staring at the clock he wont interrupt her until she finishes UNLESS shes been staring at the clocks for hours in which case hell try and distract her a little bit (:

i think she used to have a LOT of religious obsessions when he was younger but theyve gone away a bit now that hes less entrenched in christianity . like he strikes me as the type who used to have a lot of religious morality obsessions as a kid but as he grew up those morality obsessions sorta Changed Shape and became more along the lines of just plain guilt obsession like i mentioned about earlier

once more projecting my ocd obsessions . jeddy has a BIG fear of immobility she jerks her hands and her arms around sometimes just to check that he still can move about freely its a very big fear of hers . she has a har dtime falling asleep sometimes because she keeps doing liil checks that her bodys still moving . sydney snuggling with her is a good distraction and grounding though (:

Run. Left, then right, then left again. The loose mutant isn't paying attention where it's running. It doesn't matter if it's running in circles (even though it'd greatly preffer being outside), because it means the guards haven't caught it yet. It can still hear footsteps too close behind, though, so it runs faster. She can feel herself changing. The pain is immense. Her bones shift far too fast in far too uncomfortable angles. Not yet, she pleads to whatever or whoever may be listening in. If she transforms into a beast now, she may loose all control and they'll catch her, take her back to that room, where they won't hesitate again, and they'll- Outside. The mutant bursts through a randoom door and it's outside. Cold air assaults it, but it doesn't slow down. Its lungs are burning. It's not free yet, but - that doesn't matter. It's outside. Left foot, right foot. Don't stop running. Now that it's outside, it lets itself free a little. Its arms transform, now furry and with sharper claws, and starts running on all fours. Despite the fear that curses through her, Alík can't help but bark out a laugh. She never thought she'd get to go outside again. She scans the area. Trees trail high off into the clouded sky. The ground is grassy, empty splotches here and there. No buildings here. No city. Just like she heard the scientists describe it, the Zone is empty and devoid of all life.

summary: You should've known that when Ushijima Wakatoshi found it easy to fall in love with you, it might be even easier for him to fall out of it. But who expects the worst when it comes to loving someone as seemingly perfect as him, anyway?

He said it was easy to fall in love with you. He said he didn’t know when exactly, at which place, nor for what reason. Simply one day, Ushijima Wakatoshi found himself looking at you with the epiphany that maybe there’s something more meant to happen between you and him. There you stood before him that day, the person he could promise love to. (And there he stood before you that moment, the boy whose promises you found yourself believing in no matter what.)

So maybe that’s why it was even easier for him to fall out of love. When he told you he was no longer in love with you, it didn’t matter to you to ask when exactly, at which place, or for what reason. Even the universe itself is meant to fizzle out one day along with the death of the stars. Just one more person drifting away from you like a lone planet with no real orbit shouldn’t leave you broken. You are used to this. You won’t fall apart.

But you break anyway.

It was snowing outside when he decided to tell you to end things now before it hurts both of you even further. Not that the snow has anything to do with the coldness creeping up your chest threatening to spill out of you in endless sobs. You were glad, though. That at the very least, he remained honest with his feelings. He never left you guessing. Every time, he never forgets to tell you what’s on his mind. His honesty is something he thought was necessary.

“I understand, don’t worry. Thank you for telling me right away. I know you’re also considering me–” you tell him and choke up. There are tears running down your face but you’re not worried about that. Wakatoshi never let you mask your emotions around him. For the longest time, he reminded you to feel free to be completely bare with him. All the good and the bad, he said. Don’t be afraid to show them to me. I will always understand.

He steps closer and puts you between his arms. You feel his chin on top of your head as you lean your face into his chest. You’re sobbing now. “I’ll be fine, Toshi. We’ll be fine.”

He kisses the top of your head and lets you stay in his arms for minutes. “I loved you then, and I love you still. It’s just that they’re no longer the same kind. I will stay if you ask me to, okay? Anything you want.”

This only makes you cry harder. He’s always been too good. And even in breaking your heart, he’s too good. You want him to hold on. You want to ask him to stay with you for years and years. Even with a different kind of love, you’ll let him be as long he’s close by. But someone like him who has dreams beyond yourself shouldn’t ever be with someone like you who still lacks certainty toward anything.

“Just for tonight,” you ask, still crying. “Can I stay?”

“of course,” he replies. Anytime you want. Anything you want. It has always been this way.

Because humans are creatures of routines and familiarity, you spend that night the way you usually do when you’re at his place. You cook dinner with him and eat on the dining table, sharing stories and laughter. You keep adding food to his plate and he smiles as you giggle at everything you find funny.

It’s okay, it’s okay. You’ll be okay. You’ll be fine.

You clean the kitchen and stay in the living room. He leans on the couch as you lay down with your head on his lap. You keep talking and laughing. He goes along, sometimes adding things to make you laugh even more, sometimes simply agreeing, sometimes asking questions. You keep it loud and light, afraid of the silence. Inside you, it’s so heavy, your heart might just fall off. This will be the last, you tell yourself. You want to be happy for now. While he’s still here.

"Do me a favor, okay?" You tell him as you're nearing slumber. "Let me leave first tomorrow. Maybe stay in bed, maybe pretend you're asleep. But tomorrow, don't get out of the room until I've left the house." Your voice shakes, feeling yourself wanting to sob.

"I don't want to wake up to another empty bed but I don't want to see your face when I wake up too," you curl into him even further. "I'm sorry for being selfish. I'm sorry I still don't really know what to do. And I know you wake up pretty early and you know, do stuff, but just for tomorrow, please?"

Wakatoshi didn't really understand why. He originally planned on cooking breakfast for you and taking you to the train station. He would watch you board the train and he'd make sure to smile at you as he waves. You always waved back. That's how it works. Even after fights, and even after especially bad nights, you'd still do the same. Watching you leave with a smile was how you both knew you'd still be fine the days after. That nothing much can affect your relationship. For years, this has been the routine.

But tomorrow, he knows he has to give way. He knows what he said hurt you. It would be wrong of him to do what he wants simply because he's used to.

Tomorrow's the last, he realises. And then if you want, he'd never see you again.

You wake up pretty early. The sky is a calm shade of blue, the world outside still waking up. You check the time on your phone and find it's 6 AM. Last night, you slept with your back on him. The sight before you is the other end of his bedroom and you notice just how much of yourself you've managed to leave around his place. Pieces of just one other person in his life, scattered in places around his world pretending that’s just where they belong. You didn't mind leaving things behind back then. You never really thought of the day that you might’ve to take back all of them. Just how does one pick up parts of themselves when they thought they’ve finally found a place for them to stay?

But as you stand up, you conclude that when things end, traces shouldn’t be left behind. He didn’t decide to break up only to be reminded of you even after you’re no longer close to him. So you go and pick every little thing that's yours. Even your jacket and sweaters and a few pairs pyjamas in his closet. You'll just take his things from your place too and hand it to Tendou's shop. Coming back here won’t do you any good. Him coming to your place instead wouldn’t either.

Collecting all your things, even the ones you can't use anymore, you leave the bedroom and enter the living room. You don't have many belongings here aside from some DVDs and books. You only take the books and leave the rest for him. You've always preferred reading anyway.

Setting your bag and things aside on the sofa, you go ahead and wash yourself in the bathroom and bring your toothbrush and some other products with you when you're done. You then head to the kitchen to cook him something light to eat for breakfast . You knew you didn't have to. He knows how to cook. It has always been him cooking breakfast for you. When you could, you’d rather stay in bed until the very moment you must start preparing to go to uni or work. But you did anyway. He's probably in his bed, awake. He has never been a heavy sleeper. With all the moving you did around his room, he was bound to wake up if he wasn't already.

You make him a simple omelette and write a small message on top of it with ketchup. "Good luck with practice today!"

You've already cleaned everything you used, preferring to wash and set utensils as soon as you're done with them. That way, when you're sitting down to eat, there won't be any cluster around to distract you.

You put the ketchup down and decide that should be enough. You'll stop here. You should go now.

Ushijima is sitting on his bed. He's been awake since 5 AM when he usually goes on his run. It isn't the first time he chose to stay with you instead of going out, but he can't help but feel heavy this time. He stayed in for you. But as the minutes pass by, it seems that he simply cannot find the courage to sit up and face you.

He wants to sink into his bed.

There's knock on the door followed by sentences uttered softly. "Toshi, I'm going now. There's breakfast on the table. Make sure to eat before you go."

There goes the heavy feeling again. Maybe if this keeps up, he might just actually sink and never get back up.

You've done that a few times. Leaving while he's still in the room. You don't even open the door. You simply knock and tell him you're about to go, always reminding him to eat before he goes too.

But this will be the last, he thinks. If you leave now, will he never see you again?

2. Do you prefer the 2D or 3D games (in terms of style or the games in general)?

i really need to hand it to the pixel style, i think it just struck the perfect feeling for the series and the environments in both pixel games are just absolutely gorgeous in the style.... gti and psmd had good environments but idk if i can say the style did them justice (ESPECIALLY in gti's case. i love glacier palace but just compare its ingame model to how its portrayed in the animated trailer... it was one of the first 3ds games so i cant be too hard on it, but still. psmd is better with its animations and environments but i still felt as tho some areas could look better. if we get more games in dx's style tho id be up for it...)

3. Which final boss and/or final dungeon do you like the most (whether from a narrative or gameplay perspective)?

well i have different final boss preferences on narrative and gameplay so ill give two sjdklfjsdf

narratively its primal dialga. i love how fight to the finish, while heroic, sounds almost somber at times, like how the hero KNOWS theyre going to disappear after this, but is still fighting to save the world. i also love how organic the final boss is, i liked the concept in gti but i dont really like how psmd made the final boss another "manifestation" deal when yveltal was right there. i just kinda like it when its a corrupt pokemon that needs saving in its own way, with its spinoff-exclusive design. so, primal dialga! in every way the battle feels like a culmination of everything, from the leitmotifs in the song to the arena itself.

my issue with it gameplay-wise is the roar of time move. the way that the game hinges on you bringing as many reviver seeds as possible bc it usually one-shots you in normal gameplay is really annoying and needed better balancing.

gameplay-wise, its dark matter! i do have issues w it narratively (or at least with the buildup) so its not my fave there, but the gameplay for it is magnificent. i LOVE the two phases, i love how it starts with hero and partner evolved, only for them to devolve and save the tree of life without its help, i love the environment and how its the boxart of the game (!!) the music slaps, and i found the tile segments to be SUPER fun. idk i always have a good time with the dark matter battle, again i have issues w it narratively but its a fun time!

10. Which ending do you like the most?

ohhh hard one. it kinda depends on whether you count the postgame i guess? bc i love the main story ending for explorers, with how the hero knew they were going to die but couldnt tell partner til it happened, partner spreading the story but falling into a mindless routine to deal with their grief, to breaking down at the spot where the two first met, thats absolutely beautiful, but i dont care for the darkrai stuff in the actual postgame ending. and then gates to infinity's ending still makes me cry. yeah, the ending is more spontaneous (part of why i like explorer's ending is bc its gradual and hero knowing abt their death just. hits so much more when they go on with it anyways) but everyone defying the literal laws of the universe to remember the hero because they love them THAT much... fuck dude. i was in shambles. i am still in shambles. and then the postgame being about partner trying to get them back and succeeding, how they also fall into a depressed routine but dont know if they want to bring back hero bc they dont want to deny them their birth place so they can be together, only for their friends to encourage it and give hero the choice to go back and forth, and the hero chooses to come back... thats good shit. i really cant choose between those two, it depends on what you count as the ending i guess

1. How long does it take you to draw a drawing digitally? Do you have any tips on drawing digitally faster?

sorry for taking so long to answer these!! i really had to think abt the answer so it took a while! sorry if the first one ended up being an essay

1. it tends to vary depending on how well i have the artwork planned out! the thing that tends to take the longest for me is the decision-making parts (sketch and composition, base colors, and colors again once im almost done but going “ok but...what if..”) and the rest(lineart, shading, details) is basically stuff that i can go on autopilot for. so if i already know what im gonna do and somehow stick to that, an artwork can take 3-6 hours depending on size! but most of the time it can take several days of having multiple artworks up at the same time, and making small changes in each at a time until im happy enough to move on lol. so its really hard to measure the time on those since i don’t really know if going back and forth between “lime green” and “turquoise green” for 2 days counts as me actually drawing. i also have a habit of always letting the artwork “rest” for a day inbetween steps where i dont look at it to make sure im not missing any obvious mistakes. (especially at the sketch and linework stage, if they look off the entire artwork will) looking at your art with a fresh eye is really important!

when it comes to speeding up the process i think simply drawing things often enough really is the way to go. its boring but to me the fast parts are only that bc ive done it so many times i dont have to think too much when doing it! (unless im trying something new, which i have been doing lately and oh wow we sure are Thinking in this house) also i see all my artworks as a very “step by step” routine, so i try to never go back once ive completed a step. it makes just moving forward easier. since i also have several artworks up at a time; theyre almost always at different steps in the process, so if i get stuck at or bored with say, lineart, i just go to another artwork where im doing final details and just have fun with that! it makes me feel like im always making progress somwhere. also dont be afraid to just redo something entirely if it looks off. save ur canvas and open a new one and start over, its usually way faster the second time and u keep ur previous mistakes in mind so overall? its faster than to keep adjusting the same parts of the artwork over and over and never really being happy with it, at least thats how it is for me! also also also; make your own brushes for things u already know how to draw but dont wanna do by hand 50 times over. like say, the diamonds in some of my works? theyre just a confetti esque brush with a bunch of diamonds i drew the outline of. then i color them in manually and do shinies and shades but i wont have to do linework for that at least, and its still in my “style” bc i drew them! (it also lessens the feeling of “cheating” that, i at least, tend to have at not doing everything manually) ....also get over the feeling that ur cheating when ur taking shortcuts. in this house we are Professionals who know what we are doing and there should be NO shame for achieving the same results more efficiently

BnHA One-Shot Fic Recs (pt1)

Making some fic-rec posts has been on my to-do list for a while and I’m finally doing it, yay! Currently I have 6 word doc pages full of just BnHA recs. So I’m splitting them up by length and completion, so first up is (part one of) one-shots! Let’s go!!!

Lets start with some classic Izuku and DadMight!

Pictures, Posters and Tender Beauty by ProPinkist (tumblr: @dazais-guardian-angel ) Rating: G Category: Gen ~4,400 words Summary: Izuku has virtually every All Might-themed item out there, and prides himself on all of it, as Toshinori is well aware. However, somehow, the boy still decided that there was something vital missing. This is fluffy and very cute. No one truly appreciates All Might as much as Izuku does, but 1A comes close. All Might deserves all the love, and this fic truly provides!!!

Dear Mr. All Might by QuizzicalCrow (tumblr: @quizzicalcrow ) Rating: G Category: Gen ~5,000 words Summary: As the #1 hero for decades, All Might has collected a lot of fan mail over the years. Toshinori tracks down a series of letters that only now, years later, does he appreciate for their significance. I always love the thought of All Might looking through his fan mail, even if he can’t get to all of it. This was a wonderful glimpse into that AND it was made to be so, so personal and sweet. Go have some heart-healing fluff.

Growing Pains by LordofLies (tumblr: @theangelofchildren ) Rating: G Category: Gen ~5,900 words Summary: Izuku finds himself changed by his encounter with the Hero Killer, but changes of a more physical kind are in store for him as he begins to truly accept One for All as his own. Once, he would have been thrilled to look more like All Might, but now those connections are as much a source of anxiety as they are of pride.Or, Izuku wakes up one morning and sees the world through different eyes. Izuku having anxiety and Toshi being there to help him through it and calm him down? Sign me UP. Its also a pretty cool take on how One for All is able to change things about it’s holder. Could this happen in cannon? Who knows.... Regardless, it was a great read!

I’ll Carry You Home by Renesvetta Rating: G Category: Gen ~2,700 words Summary: While training with All Might, it wasn’t uncommon for Izuku to be so exhausted at the end of the day that he unwittingly fell asleep without regard for where he was. It consequently became part of All Might’s routine to help his young protégé home. During that time, Izuku may have let loose more than one sleepy confession towards his mentor. Yes, it is as adorable as it sounds. Its tagged with “self indulgent Dad Might fluff” which is both accurate and appreciated. In other words: Superb you funky little writer!

Simple Gifts by QuizzicalCrow Rating: G Category: Gen ~6,700 words Summary: One year ago, Izuku received the greatest gift he could ever imagine. Now he’s determined to return the favor for the one responsible for it all with a gift of his own. First off, I love the idea of Izuku and Toshi quietly celebrating the anniversary of passing on OfA from All Might to Izuku. Even just taking the day to hang out with each other. It’s a really precious idea. But there’s not just fluff! Izuku finds himself in a fight, again. (cool villain quirk, too!) I love all of the small details that are in this fic (and in Crow’s other works, too!) anyway its exciting AND very heartwarming, so go read it!!!

Affectionate by Sevi007 (tumblr: @sevi007 ) Rating: G Category: Gen ~2,600 words Summary: Toshinori starts to show affection very easily around his students. The reactions he gets for that are not quite the ones he had anticipated - well, not all of them, at least. Toshi is LOVED, APPRECIATED, and 1A feels like HOME. how many times can i say “cute” and “heartwarming” on this post?? bc these are some amazing writers, whom I adore, and their writing makes my heart WARM. AND. FUZZY. i mean, even just the first few paragraphs of this one just, really sets the scene of what i like to believe the 1A dorm is (on a good day, lol). its a really nice read, so go treat yo’ self by reading it.

paint me in trust by dinomight Rating: G Category: Gen ~6,400 words Summary: The first mark Izuku gets is a slight brush of green across his temple. It’s the soft touch of a mother holding her son for the first time. Inko has one to match, the same shade of green staining the tips of her fingers. Hers is more noticeable; Izuku’s tends to blend into his hairline. He loves it anyways. He has to. It’s the only soulmate mark he has. (Or: how Izuku goes from just green to a rainbow, UA-style.) Ok, so this fic sort of plays off the idea of soulmates, and does not fit in with soulmates in the usual form of the trope. First off its completely platonic. Its categorized as Gen and sticks to that. Also it doesn’t seem to be as obligatory and permanent as you would think it would be. It seems to be more of the universe telling you who has the possibility of being important in your life. I really really loved this, it was so adorable and gives you that sweet, sweet Izuku angst, before healing your heart with the power of friendship and found family!!!

The Die Has Been Cast by ChiwiTheKiwi (tumblr: @chiwithekiwi ) Rating: G Category: Gen ~5,400 words Summary: “There’s something about that kid you aren’t telling me, isn’t there?”When no answer meets him, Shouta tries again.“You know something about Midoriya’s quirk that you haven’t shared with me. Is that right?”(Or: A canon "What If" surrounding the latest manga events and focusing on Aizawa finally making a connection.) First off, this fic has spoilers for the manga, so dont read unless you’re past chp212! I loooooooove OfA reveal fics, especially when it’s Aizawa that finds out. He deserves to know!!! its kind of important!!!! This fic chooses a great moment to work off of, and does a great job with Aizawa’s character. I really enjoyed it and couldn’t keep myself from going back and reading it just now LOL

These last two are actually two-shots, but it makes it an even 10! also Izuku and dadmight, so we can continue the theme here...

Some Unspoken Thing by LittleKy Rating: G Category: Gen ~7,900 words (2chps) Green, Toshinori has always thought, is the color of life anew.(Or: It's time for Yagi Toshinori to finally accept that he has a son, now, in all but blood. It's time for Midoriya Hisashi to accept that as well.) YES ALL MIGHT! ADMIT THAT IZUKU IS YOUR SON! great portrayal of the characters and really hits the nail on the head for DadMight. and Izuku in this story is just the smallest green floof that you wish to give a hug. NEVER MIND ALL MIGHT, YOU TOOK TOO LONG SO IZUKU IS MY SON NOW AND IM NOT GIVING HIM BACK ( no but seriously i want to hug this fic its so cute TTuTT )

Now that the actual recs are over I can rant here- look i really tried to slim my recs down, but i have almost 300 bnha fics bookmarked,some of them are “to read” or theyre in progress, etc but i managed to get this list sorta slimmed down? a little?(to only 58!!!) but as i was gathering this post together it felt like i dont have very many Dadmight recs on that list??? but i havent rechecked all the other fics i was just going through the oneshots. i... kinda read a lot more fics with AIzawa in it instead. it be that way. DadMight content is SO GOOD. but my fav is aizawa im sorryyyyy anyway i have another SEVENteeN oneshots to put in rec posts and that does NOT include the mulitchapter and friikin series and stuff... and like i said this is aaaaaaallllllllllllllll BnHA. batfam fic posts will come after, and then star wars, and then maybe star trek? we’ll see. i have a very specific taste in ST fics and that is Tarsus IV whump. which. i have not read in a while. when they say “that trope came from ST” for sooooooo many tropes, you WISH other fandoms had tarsus as a trope, holy crap it is TOP TIER angst fodder. if you love to write/read whump, angst, and h/c i would HIGHLY recommend that you take a bit of time and explore the content and stories there. heck maybe i will make a ficrec post for just tarsus angst. ok.

Hello! Can I request a scenario or some hc of Shoto and Tamaki? They having a crush in a person who has ugly scars in their back bcs of their quirk, and it actually hurts them when they use it. Plus theyre kinda small, so the scars look even bigger. Thank you a lot!

(I've never written Shoto before and I'm like...lowkey nervous about getting his characterization right, lol 😅 Hopefully these are to your liking, anon!)

Shoto

So despite how awkward/blunt Shoto may be in canon, I think he'd have enough sense/sensitivity to not ask about his crush's scars in any public setting. If they mentioned it though while explaining what their Quirk does, he'd ask how they deal with it. He knows what it's like to have a painful scar affected by his Quirk (even now, his burn mark is still sensitive to heat and cold if he isn't careful), and he doesn't like the thought of his crush having to deal with that pain.

He feels a twinge of sadness and disappointment when they call themselves or their scars "ugly". Even if the scars were horrific and covered their whole back, it just seemed like the wrong word to describe them. Whenever he tries to comfort them, he usually does it without really thinking through what he should say and just winds up awkwardly rambling:

"Having scars doesn't make someone ugly, ____. I have one on my face, but all of the people who interview me say I'm a "pretty boy" and stuff. And your face is a lot prettier than mine. See, you have that dimple there whenever you smile; dimples are cute, so nobody's who's got one like yours is ugly. I don't have a dimple...Hmm, then again, I don't smile much. Maybe I have a dimple, but I've never noticed it…"

He'd offer to let them borrow some of his Vitamin E ointment for their scars, and because they're on ____'s back he'd offer to put it on for them. He didn't really get why ____ had blushed when he offered to do that, or why Kaminari had tried to high-five him after he came out of their room once he'd finished rubbing in the oil.. Soon it became a common weekly routine for the two of them to put some Vitamin E on each other's scars (they're one of the only people allowed to actually touch it without him flinching) and it was only during the third or fourth night of doing this that Todoroki suddenly realized...he was touching ____'s back. ____ didn't have a shirt on. And he was massaging them. He didn't stop after that, but now whenever he went into their room his cheeks were a bit red.

Whenever he finally got the courage to actually confess, it would be very blunt. Like, he'd approach ____ in the dorms, ask to talk to them privately, and say "I've had a crush on you for a long time. Would you want to date?" If they thought he was joking or playing a cruel prank on them ("Why would you want to be with someone as ugly as me?"), he'd also bluntly tell them that they are not and never WILL be ugly. And if they really think they're ugly because of their scars, then he'll be ugly right along with them. He may even offer to wear a bag on his face as part of his Hero costume, just to make them more comfortable with not being the only "ugly" Hero with scars. When his s/o just kisses him and tells him that won't be necessary, he nods and does his best to hug them back (he's not used to hugging anyone outside of his family...yet)

Tamaki

Tamaki's used to talking and thinking negatively about himself, but the moment his crush describes their scars as ugly, he automatically replies by saying they're wrong--and then apologizes for saying something so bluntly. But...there's no way ____ was ugly, just because of the scars on their back!

He'd start stammering some of the (many) things he thinks makes them cute: their eyes, their tiny petite frame, the way their nose crinkled up whenever they laughed really hard at something...If he managed to find the courage to say it, he'd say that their scars weren't ugly to him at all. Sure, they were...different-looking, but they weren't ugly. They always reminded him of tiger stripes, or those photos of lighting right in the middle of striking a tree or something. He'd say that they're pretty, just in a "different" way than what some would describe as pretty. And when he realized that he'd just called his crush "pretty", he'd clam up and wouldn't be able to speak to them for the rest of the day.

He'd constantly be checking on them to make sure they weren't overworking their Quirk. He knows what it's like to push past the limits of his abilities, but he thinks that the risk of them getting hurt isn't worth it. He'd be able to pick up on the signs that his crush was in too much pain from using her Quirk, and he'd try to convince them to stop using for a while and take a break. If the pain lasts until after school, he'd do or get anything they need to feel better: heating pad, painkillers, water, or just talking to them to distract them from the pain.

If they asked him to put some ointment on their scars though, he'd turn bright red and squeak out a small "okay…" He's very gentle, almost too gentle--he'd barely rub a dab of it into their skin before nervously asking if he's hurting them.

Mirio and Nejire would be dropping hints to ____ that Tamaki likes them, because God knows that shy little sweetheart isn't going to be able to confess on his own without passing out from sheer anxiety. Mirio would probably have to be there to catch Tamaki when ____ finally realized he liked them as much as they liked him, and asked if he'd like to go on a date. Tamaki would (after the initial shock had passed) say yes, of course, and they'd wind up being THE cutest couple. If ____'s scars were sensitive, they were definitely lucky to be dating the sweetest and softest boy at UA.

rowan was born in pleasance to a 22 yo anita ellis and a father who bounced shortly thereafter, but we don’t care about him

he sees dead people! always has. they vary in shape from faded human to amorphous eldritch horror, and they’re supremely unhelpful. they mostly dont talk and the ones who do dont really answer what youre saying, they just say whatever they want. they moan a lot tho. its annoying. he hates them. kinda.

anita was a fraudulent fortuneteller and genuine psychic. she just knew stuff. rowan figures whatever he is, he got it from her.

he loves her sm guys. she was the mf BEST MOM. we’re talking blanket forts. we’re talking homemade stews. we’re talking going to alby’s to try on outrageous outfits they couldn’t afford and then shoplifting some little treasure to delight rowan with on the way out. the BEST.

when he was eleven, he spent an afternoon in the sequoia grove and when he got back he learned that to everyone else, hed been missing for five days

so that was a whole thing

following a years-long downward spiral of her mental health, anita showed up at rowans high school in the midst of a full-on psychotic episode. he was taken away by cps almost immediately and sent to a group home a couple towns over.

when he got back to pleasance at eighteen, she was gone. missing, not dead.

since then hes been devoted to the cause of finding her but its been eleven fucking years and no one else seems to care so he do get down abt it sometimes

his main theory is that it has something to do with the sequoia grove. he thinks that maybe whatever happened to him as a kid happened to her, but on a larger scale.

he currently lives in the house that he grew up in and that his grandparents built, a giant ugly thing that hasnt been updated in any way since the 70s

hes bad at holding a job. hes bad at feeding himself. hes bad at sleeping. hes bad at forming and maintaining relationships. basically, hes bad at being an adult human.

ok so maybe he doesnt see ghosts. maybe his mom wasnt psychic. maybe theyre just crazy. that is a possibility. but its also possible its true. you dont know. leave him alone

ok now the fun part ! here are some connections id like to see for rowan:

i honestly debated whether i wanted him to have any close friends at all but yknow what! hes been in this town for nearly 30 damn years he can treat himself to a friend or two. these would be people who believe him, or at least have an open mind. they could be from way back or more recently. just people he’s comfortable around, and maybe goes to specifically for comfort. he needs a lot more of that than he’s getting.

people who are using him for the story (whoever wants)

this could be a writer or reporter, but it could also just be someone whos interested in this kind of stuff. OR again, could be a non-believer who just thinks its entertaining to watch him. could be honest about their motives or straight up manipulating him into thinking theyre a friend or whatever. pretty open, i just think he would be a figure of interest to certain people.

someone who was present when his mom showed up at the high school (someones?)

this isn’t even a connection really so much as just A Thing I Want. i want someone who saw a tiny, angry-crying sixteen year old rowan drag his screaming mother down the hall of the science wing with their own two eyes. student, teacher, visiting alumni, parent or sibling who was at the school for some reason idk. maybe they pitied him and approached him later. maybe it was the thing that made someone decide hes a lost cause. it doesnt even have to ever come up. i just want someone to have that image in their brain. i want them to see it when they see what a mess he is now.

a final note! when rowan was a kid he was pretty open about the ghost stuff, mostly because his mom always believed him w/out question and he didn’t know it was something to hide. after the whole woods incident and the reaction of cps + the cops to his story, he learned to keep that shit to himself. unless he knows your character well, he probably wouldnt have discussed it w them directly. however! anyone around his age might remember the stuff he talked about as a kid or his mom showing up at the school (honestly that was dramatic enough the story may live on in the halls of nwhs today in some form or another). anyone around his moms age (40-50) might know how woo-y and sketchy she and her child were. there are certainly rumors about both of them. also, most people have probably seen him behaving strangely, ie. suddenly rerouting on the sidewalk to walk around what seems like nothing, telling something to fuck off under his breath, or just flitting his eyes over to a seemingly empty space over and over. he really does try to appear as normal as possible, but it’s difficult. i think most people see more than he knows, and more than he would like them to.

Basics on Sun and Moon - Brief on their Functions ⬇️

Note: not gonna pull up everything about the Sun-Moon bc thats gonna make this post long, I’ll just be answering on the context of this ask!! Feel free to do more research on the topic tho its v interesting!! 🖤💖🦇

The Technical Part

Ok.. ok so I’ll start by talking about the technical part. As in why we might think that or observe that (in regards to your ask!!)

First, we’d have to have a clearer idea of what the sun does and what the moon does. What they represent, because we can observe a gemini moon reacting to things in a gemini manner, we may understand someone better through their organic feedback (in this case, the moon, with this hypothesis aka ur question). That’s easy right? But then what does the sun do?

So. First. With the Sun, we usually talk about it as our ego, vitality, honor, esteem, intelligence, judgement, actions. The moon represents receptivity, habits, routines, moods, emotions and part of our reactions to things. The way I kinda put this is that we might choose to act out of our sun. But we tend to react to something out of our moon. It’s a loose interpretation, don’t quote me, a mix-match of both modern and traditional representation of the luminaries. BUT!! looking at this, maybe we can begin to see it reflect their behaviour (the person in question) -- since it has to do with how they receive and process part of their life. And thus thats the part that we could see/observe of another person - why we deem the Moon to be in charge of our subconscious as well (to take away: organic reactions/feelings/processing of certain things, subconscious)

So. To clarify again. Perhaps the reason why we see someone’s moon and sun, and gravitate towards their moon as the archetype (in this context) is because that’s their behaviour, their emotions, moods, them processing and reacting to things in an organic reply. In the same case, perhaps why we might think of someone’s sun is because they choose to act the way they do, the honor and they way they uphold themselves, live by or see the purpose of their methods. The luminaries/planets play a pretty large part in our astrological make ups, our understanding of someone and how we grow to learn and connect to them as person as well.

So. Because the Moon can be reactive, we might contribute our understanding of the signs archetype to the moon placement (i.e. ‘why does the gemini moon act more like a gemini than a gemini sun’). Note how it’s our understanding of the archetype, so what we assume/associate to the overall Gemini type is what we’re associating to their reaction here (rather than the sun, which is what/how they choose to act/choice).

Seeing what someone represent or choose to show - whether it’s voluntary or just how they are - that’s how we get to know someone and form personal relationships with them. By seeing how they respond to things, perhaps less consciously even - draws us closer to the person. Of course, this doesn’t mean that we don’t recognize the Sun’s functions or features- we do form close personal bonds to someone based on what they choose to do, act, or think about certain things. How they take the same kind of material (i.e. let’s say like, the topic of equal rights) and stand up for it in their own way. Nobody acts or reacts the same way, and thus why the different luminaries (Sun/Moon) aren’t the same either! Because they have different functions and thus - contexts and ways they reside over/work for us!

So I got.. a little over-excited explaining this. But I hope I made sense and wasn’t just rambling and lost your attention/train of thought. But yeah!! I hope this makes sense ;;

For those who’s wondering what Mercury (think) Mars (act) have as their function then - well, Mercury still represents your logic, rational, education, critical thinking, communication, judgement and explanations. It does represent intellect - but more specifically what we use to come to our intellect if that makes sense? Whilst Mars can represent the more primal aspect of action taking, as in what our drive, impulses, how we go after things we want. Our technique and perhaps on the same note - instinct. So!

OH also!!! On another note: it’s also likely that someone may have a night chart, which doesn’t take away from the fact that both their luminaries are still pretty prominent fixtures in their life. But when we’re trying to study techniques of what might create a systematic look at their influences, it’s very helpful to consider whether the person in question has a day or night chart so we can see more of what influences they may be compelled by and what hinders them less.

Anyways, this was long. But I wanted to give an explanation since this is such a good thought-provoking ask. So now for the fun part:

The Fun Part

To actually answer your q, not just geminis, generally a lot of people might see their moon counterpart and be like oh shit why are u so feral.

Kinda like, a virgo sun say, meeting a virgo moon. And theyre like oh shit ure like. so fucking feral my thude what the fuck is up with that?? even im not that pressed about it oh my god what the fuck is happening. Or a sag sun meeting a sag moon and theyre like oh my god im tired let me go HOME i can’t walk another mile please who is this why are you torturing me.

In a way - the reason I went into a tangent above is because I wanted to explain why those who have their moon in x sign, may experience and react to certain things differently than those who have their sun in x signs. Because the Sun and Moon have different functions. And thus, when you look at it like this: it kinda makes sense that we differentiate between the two - and consider ourselves a third party, forming association to the different archetypes, and gravitating (or perhaps moving away from) the ones we may feel comfortable with more.

But yeah! anyways. Thats my take on the subject. I guess we could try to see whether there’s a sun/moon conjunction but that’s another explanation on aspects and why sun/moon aspects are significant as (the sun is v important!! especially since aspects formed to the sun can talk about light on the surface of the moon and it’s functions as well!! why im talking about moon phases in astrology but thats another story)

I’ve looked over this 8 times and i can’t make it as concise or ‘makes sense’ as I want so. I’m gonna just publish this. But I hope it makes sense or that you kinda get what I’m talking about??

aah, I also plan on opting out of nipple grafts ! I didn't care so much about them in the first place, and then reading about possible complications made me be like mmmm yeah I'd really just rather keep em off. One thing im wondering!!! If u don't mind me asking, what are! Having the drains in/taken back out like? Thats the only thing I'm still rly rly nervous about but any time I try to look any of it up it jsut says "and you get drains put in, and taken out later!" and nothing more fgdfgdfg

@infectionem answering this publically in case this is useful to anyone else but lmk if you want it deleted

the drains are the worst part of the surgery ill be honest, not like horrible or painful just very irritating.

you should wake up from anesthesia with them already in, so thats no problem. in my experience they arent painful outside of a general soreness, like theres some pain at the entry area but nothing horrible, they just get in the way a lot and milking the drains is unpleasant. youll want to have them tucked into your bandage so they/the loops arent dangling out. i spent a lot of the time being worried about them accidentally being yanked out but theyre in there firmly.

the usually remove the drains at your first post-op appointment unless youre still producing a lot of drainage, mine were out a week from surgery. the fluid itself is kind of gross, obviously it will be bloody the first couple days and afterwords it will get orange then yellowish then clearish. you will see semi solid gooey bits of congealed blood/whatever the hell in there and it sometimes get stuck in the tubes, its good to squeeze out the tubes into the bulbs throughout the day even when you arent emptying the bulbs.

from what i hear, a lot of places will insert them at the armpits and run them through the inside edge of the incision, but i think it depends on how much breast tissue you have to begin with bc my partner had different drain placement. that was how it was for me, i had large breasts with axillary breast tissue so the drains were like this (inserted at the armpits)

which was the one thing that really bothered me, theres a good 6 inches running along the inside of your skin when its like this. you cant really feel it at all because your chest will be completely numb and the tubes themselves are kind of hard to feel underneath the scar tissue, but for me personally knowing how much of it was under my skin bothered me a bit.

my partner had less breast tissue and his drains were attached at the outside edge of the incision with only a couple inches of the tubes under the skin. im not actually sure if thats why they do different locations but i think its involved, my surgeon also said a lot of places do that so the scars are less visible. youll have to ask your surgeon about how theyll do it for you.

getting the tubes removed was painless for me and for my partner but i wont lie its a really unpleasant sensation, but VERY brief. its just one quick motion and a weird tugging sensation, takes about a second. after that, the holes heal REALLY fast like there was a really gross initial period where i could feel the hollow area but that was gone by the next day. after the tubes are removed theres also some pain in the area but again, nothing severe.

so yeah over all when i say theyre the worst part its just bc theyre a pain in the ass but you get into a routine with them very quickly and if all goes well they get out of your body very quickly.

anon im crying because ive been facing this dream-related dilema today and you show up and ask me this right at this time and im just weLL THeN

first off -- usually when i have fun and/or interesting dreams i use it to make ocs or plots n stuff. it happens VERY often.

so last night i had a fun dream but there was some Edginess(tm) combo’d with Awful Cheesiness(tm) to it. It was really cliche, some kinda plot you can find in, like, really low budget anime... BUT it was reALLY FUN TO THINK ABOUT IT(i have this Morning Routine which is just lay in bed and try to remember what i dreamed about and maybe daydream abt it or straight up try to go back to it but in a semi-lucid state i think??? im nOT SURE I CAN EXPLAIN but ya im a weirdo obsessed with dreams iM TALKING TOO MUCH--)

and in the end ive been thinking all day about it bc on one hand - Its Was Fun, but on the other - do I really need more OCs I’ll talk about once and then never again? Or more OCs that I still love dearly but have no idea what to do with?! Would it be better to keep it somewhat, or to let go of it?! I was already throwing it away but then you. You came to me. And you asked this question. And now I am thinking about it again.

And I still haven’t told you what you wanted me to tell,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, LEMME CUT TO THE CHASE

so yeah theyre CONFLICTED bc they gotta kill this bastard but !!!!!! they also dont!!!!!!!! want to!!!!! and instead they kinda put this curse on the person(yes they can do magic and not everyone knows how to do it its complicated worldbuilding stuff) that prevents them from shifting into the monster form(tm)

monsterperson does not know who hunterperson is btw they were Knocked Out at the time this happened also im now calling them mp and hp (LOL) bc thats better

but yEAH WE HAVE THIS AWKWARD SITUATION I GUESS?

and hp notices that after this, mp grows into a much more stressed and mean person. they get gradually meaner and meaner and like?? that doesn’t make sense?? because, in a way, the Evil inside them is sealed and it shouldn’t be having such an impact on them.

so, not very sure about what to do next, hp sometimes follows mp around sneakily, to see if it’s related to something in their routine. During this, they find out about these other monsterpeople who seem to know mp and have a beef with them. These people are! very mean! but they are scared of mp, who seems to pull a very good act to seem threatening, even though they’re.. not.. very capable of much right now.

must be a very tough situation!

this is the part where my memory gets fuzzy, so, lemme try to wrap this up, -hp tries to get involved in the situation between mp and the other monsterpeople, only to have them find out about the hex that’s been placed on them -so then these people manage to corner and capture both but they have to contact their ‘boss’ before they can do anything to them -god this is such a cliche story i am crying -anyway so while the Bad Guys(tm) of the current situation are busy and they have time to discuss, mp and hp have this HEATED ARGUMENT about morals. in the meantime the dude who was like Watching The Prisoners was like having the time of his life watching it (also just wanna note that mp’s disguise hasn’t been busted yet?) -eventually the guy watching them gets distracted by something and mp tries to convince hp to break the curse. it takes yet another discussion about morals and another one about ‘how do i know you will not murder me on the spot’ -it ends here im sorry for the cliffhanger

Part 4 of things my friends do that make me love them even more:

- both rachel and cristine are artistically talented and i cant fucking wait to see them become famous doing the things they love (i know theyll becoem famous i believe in them tht much) (rachel has a great singing voice; cristine has a great singing voice, knows how to play various intstruments, loves acting, and can paint/draw amazingly)

-seth tells me some catchphraes his fav youtubers say whenever we talk

-none of my friends (nor I) knows how to react or what to say most of the time, especially when it comes to gift giving and compliments; we’re all oblivious and awkward people that don’t understand society

-andy messes up on what to say to customer service people when its evening/night time cus we usually go out around tht time but he’s used to sauing have a good day

-andy also hates intersections so he’ll pretend hes walking in the other direction (away frm the intersection), stand on the sidewalk and pretend hes doing something, or take a whole other route if theres a car nearing the intersection bc he says it feels awkward

-rachel’s favorite animals are dogs and raccoons so when i send her a post abt raccoons she gets rly excited and says she wants to hv a raccoon as a pet when she grows up. She also gets excited when i point out a dog to her in public (she cant see it cus no glasses but still excited by its genert presence)

-dina is scared of lightning so I always try to ask her if shes alright when theres a thunderstorm

-when we go to the park, rachel almost always tries to make tiktoks. We always end up interrupting and annoying her while she makes them though, sorta like our little routine.

-last time we went to the park, rachel ended up accidentally hitting meng and I directly on the face with the volleyball (its ok though cause im pretty sure we’ve ended up accidentally hitting each other with the ball at least once)

-when i got hit with the ball dina asked me if i was ok but as she moved towards me she went for the ball (we were playing monkey in the middle and she was one of the monkeys); its just funny and i love that our friendship is at a point where we could laugh about it and everything is fine

-i told my friends that i was depressed before going to the park to hang out w them. when i got there i kinda just sat on the ground looking through reddit with music on high. they all tried their best to talk to me and tell me funny stories (they said they overheard a group of kids talking about how they pantsed another dude) to cheer me up. Dina and Rachel both decided to give me a hug at the same time and i toppled over. Dina gave me a hug again. I love them so much

- Andy called me while i was in class to tel me to look at the sunset. Its something that both of us have done a few times because we both love sunsets and usually see them when we’re out. Its a small thing but it makes me love my friends even more.

-I was on voice call with Rachel on discord and she laughed then sent the group chat a link to a tiktok

-(not my friend but my mom) She knows that i hate it when things are thrown out when they’re still good or can still be repurposed. Someone brought flowers home for some reason (i forgot why) but she was putting the flowers in a vase one day. Some of the flowers broke off the bigger portion of the stem and couldn’t be put into the big vase but she put a bunch of them into a small container for me and gave it to me. I loved it even though we did hv to throw it out like a few weeks later.

-My friends and I were at Central Park and we were waiting for my two friends to finish up taking pictures. Meng and I were taking a short nap (him sitting down w his elbows on his legs and me w my head on his shoulder) while we waited. We also shared my earbuds to listen to my music. I was p sleepy so I was on the verge of sleeping my also sorta aware of what was going on (mainly cus we were guarding our stuff while everyone else was taking pictures elsewhere). I was doing that thing you do when you’re nodding your head while trying to stay awake/go to sleep. I kept on doing that until he eventually sat up a bit more and pushed my head onto his shoulder better

-Samir looked at a shirt with george washington on it and confidently said that was benjamin franklin

-Dina was talking about how she kept on eating shrimo and peanuts even though she has a mild allergy to it. Rachel and I were telling her to stop and tht we’re not bringing it to the picnic on sunday cus we dont want her dying. She responded, very confidently, tht she “hasnt died before”

-Samir calls dina “d-money”

-Rachel gave me a hug as an im sorry for taking so long. (I genuinely didnt care cus even tho they do take a long time i still v much love them)

-Rachel takes tiktoks and videos of us while we’re out

-Rachel and Dina both got v the excited when i wore a skirt out today because I usually dress more masculine

-A few weeks ago (i think) my friends and I were at the park. I was trying to do something to meng and tripped and fell on the park ground (the part where there’s basically a bunch of tiny rocks on/in the floor). Meng was also trying to do that thing where two people hold a person’s arms and legs and swing them back and forth with me but forgot that if you take someones legs off the floor with no one else holding my arms, i would fall head first onto the park ground, which i did. Both times I laughed at myself but everyone rushed to me while laughing. Idk why but it made me feel like I was ok and safe, even if i was in so much pain, srsly i couldve had a concussion.

- Rachel and I both got excited bc we both wanted to got to the same college

-I call andy when im walking home by myself at night (or when the route im taking doesn’t necessarily hv a lot of people of lights) and he just vibes with me (sometimes talks to me abt how i should b home) until i get home safely

-idk if i already put this but Andy and I have a safe word when we think there might be someone behind us following us at night bc one time when walking home we thought tht and used our now safe word to see if there was someone

-Rachel and Dina do this thing where they take their hand and go from the side of someone else’s body (where the arms are) to the bottom of their legs rly fast while theyre walking. They call it “full body stroke”. They shared it w me and now we do it to meng almost every time we go out. Sometimes we do it together (one person per side).

-While at Central Park there was a dude that was singing (he was rly good). He started singing “Lean on me” by Bill Withers and my friends started singing along with him.

-Rachel sent me a tiktok knowing full well that itd make me gay panic bc yk ✨w o m e n✨

-Dina, Alan, and I stayed out after everyone else went home cus yk they were tired. Dina and I decided to talk like white girls/pick me girls the rest of the night with their stereotypical voices. We laughed the entire time and created weird storylines including: Jessica (Dina), Olivia (me), Jayden (Jessica’s boyfriend and brother that created on Jessica with me and Nicole), Nicole (Jessica’s friend), Olivia’s dad (a convicted felon in all 50 states and is dead), Jessica’s dad (a lawyer that’s also running for president, and Alan (he was just roped into our bs and was there to act like the dude that we both wanted to have as our bf).

- When we were in the bathroom and washing our hands, Dina waited until after the other woman in the bathroom to leave before coming up to me and, in a discreet whisper, told me that the soap was what “good pussy sounds like”

- Rachel, Dina, and I saw a few cats on our way to meet up with Alan and we played w the cats for a bit before one of them said “pspspspsp come here alan” to one of the cats. We now do this frequently to each other even though we hate it.

- We have corrupted each other to the point where we cannot hang out without someone saying “that’s what she said”, something about Dina being white, “just like this dick”, and “deez nuts”. We laugh about it a lot

- Rachel and I are both reasonably out of energy both mentally and physically after our jobs so when I walked w her to a mall w the rest of her friends, we both walked silently with a bit of catching up cause we both understood how the other felt

-We had a water balloon fight today at work (Alan, Rachel, and I work together). Obviously, I took the chance to pop as many balloons over rachel’s head and dump water on her. She tried to spray me w water using a water gun though. Afterwards gave the towel i brought to rachel cause she needed it to change. It’s important to note that rachel has purple hair right now and that the towel was white. key word: was. The towel was now stained a light purple (I dont mind but damn)

- i made rachel a purple raccoon by crocheting it (purple and pink actually). I finished it yesterday (sunday) and gave it today to her at work (monday). I opened the door a bit and peeked my head in with the raccoon just below me in my hands. She was confused at first but then saw the raccoon and her eyes lit up. It was rly cute🥰🥺 to see her get excited. We both nicknamed the raccoon “pimp jr.” and i made a lil name tag/from to tag that said it.

- rachel likes to lip-sync to music shes either listening to or hears in store and sometimes does a little dance with it. Its so cute and I love looking at her do it because it reminds me of why I adore her. She also goes hard when it comes to singing at karaoke. Like damn her vocal range is astounding

- dina got so excited when i asked her if she wanted to binge watch all the twilight movies with me. She looked so cute cus its one of her favorite movies. ugh i love my friends.

-a lot of dudes have crushes on rachel and dina and the both of them usually just try their best to avoid the person or avoid confronting them. Idk why but it kinda makes me feel grateful that I’m close friends with them because I used to have a crush on both of them before when we first met. When I told them i used to have crushes on them they didn’t act weird about it or anything and we continued to be friends. I’m so fucking grateful I’m their friend despite my initial crush on them cause they’re two of them most amazing people I’ve met my entire life.

-rachel, meng, alan, and I went to go watch Shang Chi in movies. In the last few scenes (which were v tense btw) rachel nd I both got rly anxious and squeezed each others hands bc we were scared out favorite characters were gonna get hurt. She squeezed the fuck out of my hand to the point where I couldn’t feel it anymore and neither could she. I’m ok with that though cus I’m glad she finds comfort in squeezing the living fuck out of my hands.

-dina, rachel, and I have matching bracelets from hot topic and i see them wear it almost every time we hang out. Alan and I have a matching pair too but I dont think he’s going to wear it very much (issok tho).

-We went to karaoke yesterday and I dont know how I just realized this but while she’s singing, dina likes to move around a lot. It’s not exactly dancing but not particularly just moving around. Its kinda like that tiny thing ppl do when they’re alone and playing their favorite songs on blast. She’s so cute when she does it, esp because she seems so happy when she does it. Even though I absolutely despise Justin Bieber, I would play his songs over and over again on blast if it made her as happy as she has made me.

-dina and I like to go to the swings and blast “Happier Than Ever” with earbuds in (we share a pair for this) and she screams along to it for the second half

-it’s become a “tradition” for us to go to the swings (most of time) after we’ve done the initial things we already planned out because dina and I love the swings.
